Studio 6 Extended Stay - Kissimmee, FL - Orlando

Very good

The initial impression of this Motel 6 Extended Stay was actually great, but things went downhill fast. On my very first day, I spotted a German cockroach crawling on the kitchen floor. Finding a pest in the food preparation area right after checking in was an absolute dealbreaker for me, so I chose to check out immediately and stay somewhere else. It’s a shame because the place seemed nice otherwise, but kitchen hygiene is something I can't compromise on.

The hotel name should be stay with roaches. There were roaches in fridge, microwave, wardrobe, and dead roaches lying on floor. When I complaint to the staff, they had not answer for that, just saying we will call housekeeping to check, and the no one showed up. horrible place to stay. Do not book this hotel. It's a scam hotel.

I never got to stay because I could never get ahold of anyone from the property The listing on booking.com said late check in. When we arrived the office was closed and I was told I would have needed to arrive before 7pm… so I had to pay for a room at the motel 6 attached to the studio 6. The next day I walked down to check in but nobody was in the office and people were yelling and screaming out of their rooms. It was at this point we opted to get a room somewhere else. They never actually responded to my request to cancel and this has been lingering for days.

We reserved 2 nights to attend a nearby conference, upon arrival the room had tons of bugs and filth. We could not sleep, we tried to change the room, no one was there! In the middle of the night, we left for another hotel, but the price was very high due to spontaneous need. We dropped the keys and left. Now every time we call for a refund, we get delays and call back requests. This place is a piece of trash! We will go after them legally to recover our money.

Yes, everything was perfect. Only the room WiFi (internet) was very poor or nearly inactive.

The location is excellent; however, the cleaning service is terrible. During our 12-day stay, they never came to clean or bring towels, there were cockroaches in the room every day, and the room phone did not allow communication with the front desk (it always rang busy). We informed them of the cleaning situation, and they simply said that if we wanted cleaning, we had to request it, as they only have one person to clean (but they don't tell you that when you arrive).

The room was filled with small cockroaches dead and alive with a terrible smell. I wouldn’t recommend stay here at all.

We paid for a disability room, my wife is disabled and I am a veteran recovering from open heart surgery. We booked a week in advance and were still placed on the second floor. Told there were no first floor rooms. There were small children running up and down the stairs til all hours of the night. Plus my wife and I discovered small bites all over us, so possibly bed bugs. Also the staff is very unfriendly. Very disappointed with this location. Many other problems to mention.

It’s close to the world of food trucks. The toilet, when you flush the water pop out. When we finished using the toilet we would close the sit and put a towel over the open area to flush and avoid the water to come out. The Pillows weren’t big or comfortable.

I like that the property is in front of Fun Spot that I can go walking Because is a Pet friendly smells like it.

The rooms need fixing up. But its good priced and in a good location.

ROACHES everywhere… including the fridge! The place was musty smelling and just horrible. We were only sleeping a few hours here at best. The area is ghetto, bike riders, cars speeding by, yelling and multiple families living there. If you’re looking for a ghetto dump, you’ve found it! I’ve stayed in ghetto motels before, this would definitely qualify.

Didn't stay...numerous poeple "hanging around" on the balconies, definitely not tourist. People hanging around the parking lot...one woman was dressed like a prostitute and was having very difficult time standing...either really drunk or on something stronger. Wife stepped out of our car and recieved a bunch of cat-calls and offers of all kinds of "extra-curricular " activity offers from the dozens of people standing/sitting on the walkway in front of their rooms...most of whom had 12-18 packs of beer or liquor bottles next to them. Looked like a bunch of vultures that found out new people had arrived. Great place for a party ....but i would not recommend for family vacation...especially with children, (they will likely recieve a shocking life-lesson). We are not easily surprised..as I've travelled the world , and together we've traveled and stayed in some off-the-beaten-path places in some rough areas, ...so we aren't wealthy , spend $500-$1000 a night hotel room folks.... but this had a dangerous vibe to it ...my 1st thought was..."i dont think i brought enough ammo to stay here for the week"

El lugar era sucio, con cucarachas por todas partes,hasta en la recepción veias las cucarachas caminando. Vive gente ahi, en realidad parecen apartamentos de indigentes. Niños corriendo por todas partes y tocando las puertas . El olor a cigarrillos era miy fuerte. Dure una noche pues no tenia de otra , pero al otro dia temprano me fui. No lo recomiendo no a mi peor enemigo. Por el contrario los que trabajan alli son amables y tratan bien a los huéspedes. De esto no tengo ninguna queja.

Upon arrival the receptionist was so sweet; after being worried about the location her positive attitude made us think that it could possibly be okay. Then we made it to the room... there was writing on the back of the door in sharpie, holes punched in the walls, the walls that didn't have holes in them were absolutely disgusting. The wall in the bathroom had literal blood on it. It was the worst looking hotel I have ever seen. The kitchenette looked like it had never been cleaned, the wall behind the little stove was covered in a thick yellow gunk. It was terrible.

There is hole in the shower room instead the handle, i guess long time, because this hole is very dirty. No hair dryer, no coffee.

Requested a ground floor room and received an email confirmation from the hotel that I would have a ground floor room. I made the reservation MONTHS in advance because I was attending the dog show in Orlando. Got several calls the day of my check-in before we arrived that they did not have the room I reserved and I would be on the second floor-did I want the room-was I coming, because they were sold out, etc. Arrived to be put on the second floor. Room was dirty, with bugs. Kitchen had nothing-no dishes, pots or pans, etc. My intention of staying there to save money by not having to eat out did not happen. Place stunk of pot and one night there was even a mobile dispensary parked outside. Neighbors were noisy all night with the TV blaring-even lodging a complaint with the office did nothing. Toilet did not flush right and ended up plugged and we had to go to the Motel 6 for a plunger because the Studio 6 office was closed. Young kids were running around barefoot and unsupervised. Lots of pitbulls and not being picked up after (I travel with dogs and always clean up after them), but it is frustrating to not be able to find a place to walk your dog where there isn't any poop left by others. Garbage cans outside were overflowing daily. I rarely leave a bad review, but this week-long stay was not what I had hoped for. Won't be coming back next year.

1. Was downgraded in room and charged the same 2.the door didn’t properly close so it was scary to sleep anyone with one kick could come in 3. The room wasn’t properly cleaned the fridge had black mold around the door edges. 4. The AC unit made a large noise was difficult to sleep and took a lot of hours for it to cool the room 5. The toilet tank kept filling up all night like it had a leak that was also noisy and also found that they was 2 roaches in the room I took pictures and videos of everything was so disappointing and disgusting

Staff was friendly but the cleanliness was below par, moldy coffee filter with used moldy coffee in coffee pot, moldy pillows, yes moldy pillows, and the fact that they used the hurricane to price gouge people is disturbing!

Poor maintenance

We got there and requested no smoking rooms. They didn’t have one of them so I ended up having one smoking room one non-smoking room, blamed it on Hotels.com. Both rooms had roaches and it was a little bit rundown could do for a remodel. Only thing good about it was it was walking distance to old town.

It's not a good look when there's a police car when you pull up. Placed smelled of weed and everyone looked like they were on something. Please reconsider your stay elsewhere.

Sketchy and dirty place. I would not stay here even 1 night. Expedia charged me $92, and resort refunded $77. $25 upcharge through Expedia. Much cheaper directly through the company directly.

I booked this hotel last minute base of the reviews. Bad idea!!! The front desk close at 11pm. So the regular motel 6 employee take the keys for late reservation. Well my keys did not work. The receptionist used the emergency keys and they didn't work. He didn't have access to test the keys. So I'm was without a room till 3am. Luckily someone did not make their reservation at the regular motel so he got me in. Thank God!!! My food went bad because the new room didn't have a refrigerator in it. I had to wait until they open at 9am to complain. The receptionist was not much help but did try to refund my money. The Manager called me and offered my a room. I took it because i was only staying a few hr before leaving home. The door wouldn't lock and they had to come fix the issue. The room smelt like cigarettes. Just disgusting!!!! The environment didn't feel safe so we didn't get in the pool. I do not recommend this place to anybody! Run fast

Remove from listing. The pictures are completely different to the real. This is the worsest staying of my life. Beware! Keep out! Laudy neighbors all night. Had to knock the doors asking for respect and silence.

It was very nasty. Roaches everywhere. Noisy, people above us every morning and night sound like they was moving furniture around. Just not a good place people stay there with over 6 dogs. Did I mention roaches just not sanitary

We book two beds per room and they weren't available. We ended up booking a third room just so we could fit. Micro and fride did not work. Water in shower would bot drain. The smell of weed in our room and surroundings was 24/7. Only positive was the location. Walking distance to Old Town and World Food Trucks.

The place was nasty and dirty, and had to smell of urine everywhere. My kids sitting outside playing with dogs. I would not recommend taking your family here.

It’s a studio six so you’re getting what you pay for. We had to ask for extra toilet paper twice, the trash was never taken out from the last person, and when we asked for a trash bag the first time, they didn’t have any. We did finally get a trash bag and made the most out of our trip, but we were definitely scared of the bugs lol.

We arrived to a room that was not ready. Finally given keys to a room for two nights. Floors filthy. Picture of towel we wiped our feet on. Remote didn't work, shower head missing, light over stove out, looking at sheets bed was never changed from previous rental.

Bad deal, after we arrived. I went to check-in to find out that the hotel decided to cancel my reservation. The reservation was made back on November 13, 2023. On or around 7:00 PM as we were on are way to the hotel, I received a call from the hotel staff to notify me of the cancellation. I was force to travel back home. The worst of the worst.

In the end, we had to go to the Holiday Inn around the corner and pay 3 x the price for a last minute booking. Having seen the state of the Studio 6 exterior, reception and bathroom, we regarded this as a lucky escape. My family were overjoyed they didn’t have to stay there. There is nothing to recommend about this hotel.

Half of power outlets did not work. Did not have the room I booked on hotels.com. Kids running wid everywhere. Homeless and dope heads in and out the parking lot. Bed hard as rock. 2 pillows that were very flat. Just not a good place at all.

I have stayed there many times and this was the worst experience I’ve had the kid at the front desk was to bizy on the phone the cleaning person was cussing on the phone to the staff all I smelled all night was pot has gone down hill sence it’s became a monthly rental will not recommend it

A long walk to upstairs room with luggage but no elevator accessible, drug user around every corner, drunk dwellers with liquor bottles in hands in the scene, young people ran around upstairs walkway play trick games rocking all the motel buildings in shakes, room was smelly, broken door lock won’t be secured for security. Checked out earlier before 7:00am, the motels office was not yet open. A totally sad stay, forks please keep it away!

Check in time said 3pm. Arrived after 3pm, room not ready. Told another 1 1/2 hours. Gave them my phone number and went to eat. 2 hours later, no call. Went back, room. Not ready. Agent ran to try and find a room. Looked around the place and noticed it was dumpy, not clean, strange odor in the lobby, and a sign up that said help prevent sex trafficking. That was enough for me. We left and found accommodations elsewhere. Location was good my condition of hotel and overall feeling of not being safe was enough to make us go somewhere else

Don’t stop and look. Drive fast and don’t look back. Horrible does not describe a quarter of the horrible experience. Yes I understand. This is multiple six. I was trying to find a cheap stay for a couple days boy that I find it. The streets were a lot cleaner and safer and habitable than this room. The room stunk like smoke. Dirty! There was also several dead Cockroaches everywhere on the floors. Looks like they recently sprayed the place. Looked like blood stains in bath tub and on door. I had to go buy disinfectant to clean the floors and get rid of the dead roaches. Sprayed the bath tub and chairs. Chairs were so dirty as well. Barely touched anything. Good thing I brought my own blanket and pillows. You can see outside through the crack in the door. The additional door lock was missing 2 screws. Definitely did not feel safe. Reservation was for 2 nights. Left on the second day after I did was I was in Orlando for. Only good experience was with the front desk. First room they gave me smelled of dog piss and bleach. So they gave me the room with the dead cockroaches.

They have a good value for your money, the staff is friendly and very helpful.

The staff here is polite and very helpful. The rooms are a little bigger than the most hotels they're older but they do the job when you need a place to sleep and take a shower.

The room smelled and the floor was very dirty. We did see 1 roach that was dying but never saw any others. If they just cleaned the rooms a little more it wouldn't be a bad place to stay.

Floor was dirty and sticky, bath soap was more like bath slivers , a-c next to the bed was noisy and interfered with sleeping, bed” blanket” was more like a heavy sheet. But the laundromat facilities were good. Wouldn’t return.

The property is well located , rooms that are studio type are ok considering the price range . On the flip side the cleaning was deficient, my room was not completely clean when we arrived. It seems that they are short staffed. If your intention is just having a base camp for your Orlando vacation is fine but for an extended stay needs to improve .

I was guaranteed a room but when i called the motel to see when i could check in, i was told rather rudely i did not have a room after i reserved with a credit card and recirved a conformation. All while a cat. 4 hurricane was approaching. My "safe place" i booked and was guaranteed did not exist. Motel 6 did absolutely nothing to remedy the sittuation for myself and my family (2 small children included). If it hadnt been for the wonderful customer service of hotels.com my family and i would have been staying in a mobile home in kissimmee florida during hurricane ian. Hotels.com NOT Motel 6 made sure my family and our dog were all safe and sound at the mariott in bonnet creek, which was lovely. Thank you hotels.com.

I have stayed at this motel several of times but this past weekend was horrible the power went out causing me to leave and no staff was on site to talk to, I ask Expedia for a refund or to accommodate me another stay. So far haven’t heard back from no one

Sadly requested a first floor room but hotel staff was unable to met my request upon check in even though hotel was not very full. Lots of first floor rooms available ?? Pool was open. Room was ok I expected more at studio 6 . TV very small. dissatisfied with limited coffee for roomI requested coffee at front desk for 2nd day of stay & told coffee ( small bags) were $1 per bag? I have never had to pay for extra hotel coffee ?

Our room had the worst order that never went away. I had to buy air fresheners. Spoke to another couple who said the same about their room. The floors were filthy. No mopping ever I believe. The dresser drawers were difficult to operate and one would not open at all. The driveway was nothing but pot holes.

The hotel was dirty the sheets were very oily the floor was nasty the first day we checked in they were doing construction in the morning and I called and complained and they did nothing about it and the next day there was dogs barking all night and all day could not sleep worst hotel stay ever. And smelled like crap.

Overall it was decent but overpriced my main concern was that the dead bolt would not lock! They have coffee maker but no cups no coffee and no ice

Me and my 9 year old son had to go outside to breathe. We were in a “non-smoking” room which was right next to the only 3 “smoking” rooms in the complex. The smoke was unbearable. It made us both sick and I was charged $190. Told it was the “last” room yet the room right next to us was also non-smoking and not occupied. My bag clothes towels hair and my poor baby wreaked of smoke which could be cigarettes or hard drugs or both. I’m not sure but we both had sore throats coughs and irritated eyes. Towels had someone else’s hair all over them. No conditioner or shampoo but there was soap. There was literally no available rooms in the area when our plans fell through so I was grateful to have a place but while outside breathing this old truck pulled in, met someone, then as they were pulling out they stopped and shouted at me!! I told my son run inside and locked the doors. Uncomfortable bed but none the less a bed! Pros: Cool area, super busy and pretty unsafe to walk but we did check out the Old Town across the street!! It was a nice way to get fresh air despite having tired feet. The front desk staff were incredibly kind, although there wasn’t anything they could do to help the smoke they did apologize. Sheets appeared washed, surfaces cleaned, and no bugs are always a first look. So it’s an awful experience that costed WAY too much but I’m grateful we weren’t sleeping in the car.

The location is convenient to Disney and airport, pharmacy and restaurants are around the area.

Near Fun Spot and Old Town and of course Walt Disney World. The worst problem I had involves the 17" TV and the bed that is 15 feet away from it (making it only watchable with binoculars). Otherwise, for the price, free parking, and no additional hotel charges, an OK deal.

Closeness to Disney is good, but rooms walls are so thin that we can not sleep due to loud voice first day.

The staff was nice, but the cleaning service did not do a good job. The microwave, and coffee pot, were not cleaned. The floors were not swept, very well, because there were little black hairs on the bathroom floor. Someone kept smoking, in the hallway, so my room would smell like smoke when I came back. I had to leave the AC off, when I left, so the smell couldn't get through the vent.

Property was near everything which was very good. But room was dirty and could hear everything from the rooms aboveand nextdoor.

My family had a good time no issues with our stay.
