The room was clean and modern. The staff was great and accommodating. I like a firm mattress but this one was hard as a rock. Maybe because it was a handicap room? The only amenities in the room was two small bars of soap, and no hair drier. There a coffee and juice machine in the lobby in the morning.

Nothing it was old and run down. It wasn’t clean there was mold in the shower. Staff tried to charge extra for a room switch.

The tub did not drain and the toilet did not fully flush!

Convenience to stores and location was on point for the area. The lady working at the desk for check in was super sweet and personable. Her presence brings comfort and security to staying at a cooperation that may not always be recognized as being suitable in today’s “world”. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend for cost effective travel ? No complaints, decent place to rest and recoup.

It smelled like mold so bad I woke up with a sore throat, my clothes stink. There was toilet paper in the peep hole and the chain lock was bent like someone kicked door in at one point. As I came out to leave for work there was a man in a truck coming from back side of building prowling. I will never stay here again. It was close to work. But I’d rather drive!

The only small positive was that, after requesting a replacement, I was given a clean, unburned blanket. I had a thoroughly disappointing stay at this place and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Upon entering, I was immediately hit with a strange, chemical odor that persisted throughout my visit. The room was advertised as non-smoking, but it was clear that heavy smoking had occurred in the past. The walls were marred with yellowed stains, and in the bathroom, cigarette butts had been ground into the wall. The sheets and blanket provided were riddled with cigarette burn holes, which was both unsettling and unacceptable. Even more concerning, the smoke alarm had been dismounted, raising serious safety concerns. The room’s overall condition was bad. The walls were covered in stains, the furniture was scratched and worn, and the towels with visible stains. The unpainted, grimy doors added to the neglected, uninviting atmosphere. This place was nowhere near worth the price I paid. To make matters worse, I encountered few roaches and flies, which only heightened the sense of uncleanliness.

Breakfast was great. Location right off the highway! Awesome! No complaints here!

The Wi-Fi was not working in my room when I checked in and I had to complain twice before it was fixed. Also, when I checked in the bathroom had two large fluffy towels but when the room was cleaned two days later they were replaced with two thin towels. Two days after that they were replaced with only one towel..No other amenities were ever replaced in my six day stay.

Parking was very easy and secure

Lot of construction to get to hotel. Room didn't deadbolt from inside. Had a flimsy slide lock on inside. I didnt feel safe. Left after 3 hours.

First we forgot our travel fan so I asked desk clerk if they had fans, he didnt understand what a fan was so no fan but my fault. Well, first the TV wouldnt work for more than 7 mins before turning off or not changing channels then pillows were dreadful ( 3 on each bed, looked full but once you put any weight they were flat so one person needs all 3) and finally, the mattresses were are so hard my 26 yr old could not sleep on it at all and insisted we had to leave during the night. When I stopped by the office, he offered another room but it was literally the same mattresses as the other. I told him he should be ashamed and he couldnt look at me. He also couldnt refund the room as I booked through app so now I've got to waste more time to get w them. Sad when youd rather drive 4 hrs back to Waco than sleep on those beds. Absolutely do not book there.

I booked this hotel weeks in advance. I arrived at the hotel around 8pm because I was traveling for a cruise and wanted to go down a couple of days before boarding the cruise to do some things in Galveston. Upon arriving the front desk lady advised me that they didn’t have a reservation for me. She stated that they just opened up a new location that they just renovated so my reservation is probably at the new location even though the address showed the one I was at. She advised me to drive a couple miles down the road to the new location. I got to the new location and they didn’t have my reservation either and said that it’s at the other one because the address shows the other one. The man at the front desk called the other location and advised her it was there because of the address. She said no. I called Hotels.com on the phone while driving back to the original hotel location. I got hotels.com customer service rep on the phone and she asked to speak to the front desk. They advised that I do have a reservation and we provided the reservation number. The front desk worker still stated it wasn’t there. Hotels.com put in for a refund and I had to pay again in person to get a room. It wasn’t a great experience due to me driving 9 hours and driving back and forth from location to location and I just wanted to lay down because I had been driving for so long. Will not ever book this hotel again. Not to mention the construction road work that was being done around the hotel. Ugh

I really enjoyed my time here. The staff was very kind, and the check-in process was quick and easy.

Good hotel with very low nighly stay prices under $100 with no extra fees & free parking . There was free breakfast cereal muffins milk juice yogurt. The location is good right off the highway only about 20-30 mins away from what ever beach your wanting to visit we did Galveston & Kemah. Located next to gas station and shopping center. Rooms were very clean and everything smelled very fresh. It’s not fancy but it’s a comfy stay. Thank you

Check in was super easu...room was clean but bed waa super hard and i woke up on mega pain

I was charged 96 by Hotels.com and the Super 8 charged me 80.68. I was told my card was being ran for a 50 deposit and that was a lie. When I checked out I informed them of the condition of the room and inquired about the charge. I was told it was a temporary hold only. When both charges cleared I informed them again and was told it was refunded and would take 10-14 days. No apology or accountability of the situation

Stayed 1 night before boarding cruise. Road construction made getting to the hotel slightly difficult. The door to our room required checking as it didn't close correctly sometimes.

Property had garbage bags and dirty laundry in a parking spot near the stairs. It was clear to me that the clerk at check in didn’t look at my preregistration form that I filled out as they wanted me to fill out a form with the same information. At check-in they need to provide WiFi password and times that breakfast is served.

The lobby smelled a really bad order of a place that was not cleaned and dated. The room was falling apart and smelled of mold. We finally found the mold. It was on the ceiling and around fixtures. I have pictures but I don’t know how to post it. I would not recommend this place. There are plenty of places to stay. Choose something else. I regret thinking that since we’re coming in late it’s just for a few hours but it was not worth it. Woke my kiddos up early and checked out early.

Terrible hotel… bedding sheets and blankets were not replaced with cleaned ones. Hair everywhere. They said they were clean but I seriously doubt tgey even wash them. The seats and sofa chair had stains on them. I will NEVER stay there again!

Room smells musty, sink faucet is leaking and broken handle, floor is dirty and coming loose, bathroom vent is so dusty, I don't know how it's pulling out anything.

The lady that was working the day we checked in was nice & pleasant with a smile! She is a definite asset! Our room was perfect for a night before going on a cruise! Would stay here again if we were in the area!

It looked like a drug invested property. Construction made it extremely difficult to get to it and to access the property itself. But those around the property and on the property were very shady. It did not represent the quality that Wyndham normally is. Was very disappointed.

Dirty and nasty. There was spots of blood on one of the pillows and stains on the ceiling. It could be over looked of it was $50 a night but total cost was around $180 for a night. Absolutely the worst place. There were people walking around outside and doors slamming all night. Would be better off sleeping in the vehicle at a rest stop.

Location was within walking distance of the rental car agency that we used. There was also a restaurant within walking distance those two items alone were a great big plus the hotel was very comfy clean.

Convenient to Port of Galveston

This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at. I was there for a total of two hours and left because I couldn’t take the smell anymore.

Can't beat the price. It was easily accessible, despite all of the road construction in the area. Rooms have been recently updated and were clean. Only drawback is there really isn't any breakfast. It should state complimentary breakfast items (i.e orange juice and cinnamon rolls). Would definitely stay again.

*Front desk staff (check in and check out) were delightful and efficient. *Room was clean and smelled fresh. *Beds comfy with clean linens. *Big screen TV had every streaming app known to mankind like Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, etc. *Shower was nice and powerful with excellent temperature control. *A/C unit easy to operate and cooled the room down quickly. *Thankfully very quiet, in spite of it being the weekend for the annual motorcycle-fest in Galveston. *MOST favorite thing was the refrigerator/freezer. It was double the size of most hotel room mini fridges! And the freezer was super cold and large enough to hold 4 bottles of Diet Coke. Great for family reunion leftovers. *LEAST favorite thing were the bath towels. Wash cloths and hand towels were just fine but the bath towels were pretty rough on the skin.

The room was dirty and gross but we had no other option than to stay. The bed was comfortable though.

I stayed here in order to be close to Jack brooks park where my son had a baseball game. CJ at the front desk went above and beyond to help me with my booking and resolved all of my concerns. The property is close to freeway and gas station. Towels and bed were clean. Affordable and convenient location.

Quiet and no pets

I checked in, and after 30 minutes I checked out! They showed me to rooms, one worse than the other one. Depressive, humidity in the room, stains , bad smell, horrible!!!! I went to another hotel, I don’t care if I lost money, I would never stay in this horrible place, and I am surprised that a company like Expedia offers this disgusting hotel.

Mold patches in the bathrooms, cracked / peeling paint in the bathrooms. Rotton bottom of door to room. TV's are outdated and very limited number of channels. Top layer of towels were clean but the bottom layer were not. Fridge in one of the rooms barely kept anything cool. AC in one of the rooms was stuck on hold. This hotel will not refund any of booking when tried to check out to go to another hotel. When checking in a dog came into the lobby and tried to attack my husband, luckily he was near the door and ran out right before the dog was able to bite him.

The hotel was a dump! We wouldn’t stay there. The doors were routed. It was just nasty. We couldn’t cancel on September 1 because we didn’t get there until September 2. Your advertisement said it was a Wyndham hotel. That is not so. We are requesting a full refund. We left and found another hotel!

The only good thing was the desk clerk, she was very nice. But the place simply looks old and run down, and smelled old and run down.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Dust was built up on it. Breakfast listing online should be changed to continental.

Bed linen should be changed and roaches should be treated.

It wasn’t all that the staff was not all that the room was updated but old and I had to keep going to the front for toilet paper as they only provided 1 roll not enough towels provided for all my guest they say they provided breakfast but all they sat out was some bananas and paged muffins that is not good as it was not a diabetic friendly breakfast it’s was breakfast snacks and they didn’t have much out for a hotel. And I think they are over priced on the weekends

A clean and convenient location next to I-45 to Galveston. Breakfast was meager, but coffee was good and room was clean with cold air-con.

We almost slept in the Truck. There was a HOLE in the bottom of the door. You could tell that the door had been kicked in before. We did not feel safe and I stayed awake most of the night in fear. There were homeless people wandering around. It was absolutely horrible. When I saw "be Wyndham " I just assumed it would be okay. I WILL NEVER make that mistake again! If you have a family with kids. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Environmental and room was not maintained properly

It was ok for one night stay. However, there was an unpleasant urine smell on the stairs.

Very rundown building. Even though the A/C was set on “dry” and the room was sufficiently cold, the room felt very damp and humid. Everything smelled a bit moldy.

We were happy to leave our car during a 7-day Cruise. There was no transportation provided and we had difficulty getting an Uber for our return to the hotel.
