Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests appreciating the friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and good food options. However, some guests were disappointed with the resort fees, lack of gym, and the perception that people also live at the hotel. Additionally, the location was both praised for its proximity to the Sphere and criticized for not being safe to walk around at night.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Clean rooms
- Unexpected resort fees
- No gym on-site

Booked a smoking room on mistake. They would not change it. Room was run down and headboard of bed was very dirty (oily handprints and grime). Paid extra to be poolside and the pool was filled with drunk, loud men partying till the pool closed. Didn't feel comfortable in a swim suit there. Won't stay her again.
- 5/5
The Mardi Gras hotel is not fancy, but the rooms are huge and ours was very quiet on a Saturday night, the linens clean, the pool was wonderful, there were no unexpected fees, the parking is free and the restaurant food was good. All of this for a much lower price than we would have paid most anywhere else. Also, the location (relative to the strip) is really convenient. If you want to visit Vegas but need to keep your spending reasonable, I'm not sure this hotel can be beat. If they can keep doing things as they currently are, I will happily stay here yet again if/when I'm back in Vegas.

Close to the monorail and bus stops. Made getting from the hotel to the strip and airport a breeze

Room was clean and spacious. Pool area and hot tub were very nice. Just a few leaves in the pool. The water was not too hot or cold. The restaurant was very convenient. 10-15 minute walk to the sphere. Close enough to the strip to take an uber. Nice stay!
- 2/5
Room was old, a lot of stains and a lot of damage, definitely didn’t look like the pictures I saw. I killed a cockroach I saw crawling in the mirror when I woke up I think the 3rd morning. there was a lady that was always smoking in the room next to me outside. I didn’t feel safe going out at night cause I would feel I would run into someone I didn’t want to outside my room.
- 5/5
I will definitely stay here again great staff friendly pleasant

- 3/5
You get what you pay for here. It’s off strip but only a 7 min car ride or a 15 min walk to the strip. The room was ok, but the cleanliness was questionable so I was never fully comfortable. The A/C unit worked well in the room. The front desk staff was nice during my experience with check in and check out.

It's quiet and the rooms are spacious. The monorail is a short walk away. 7-11 and McDonald's down the street. There is a pool in the middle of the property.
- 4/5
Nothing fancy, but very decent for the reasonable price. With the free parking and friendly security on patrol I'd stay there again if/when I'm looking near that location. There is an elevator but plan on walking a flight or two of stairs for access to 2nd or 3rd floors. It's 1/4 mile from monorail, so not that bad for getting around if you don't want to drive.

Spacious room, clean pool, free parking Stinky lobby. If it wasn't cigarettes is was overbearing perfume. Or both.
- 4/5
The pool was nice, the water was cool and clean, which was a godsend in the sweltering heat. The hurricane alley would've been a nice experience had I been served. While I don't doubt that the food would've been a great value, both times I tried visiting were stifled by no wait staff being available. A simple scheduling mistake mixed up my reserved smoking room on my first day, which was a slight hiccup, but the staff were more than helpful and friendly when it came time to correct it. The building is kind of old, and is styled similarly to a hacienda, which is a bit of charm that I enjoy. My only real gripe was the holding fee. I believe both Expedia and the hotel are to blame for my assumption that the $23 resort fee was the only fee I would have to pay upon check-in. However, when I arrived I was surprised by a $100 holding fee on top of the $23 resort fee. Needless to say, this surprise but quite the damper on my vacation. What was more frustrating was that (just like every other establishment), they can withdraw the money instantly, yet when refunding even a hold, i was informed I would have to wait 3-5 days. This was also frustrating considering I had to walk from the hotel to the airport due to my deposit not being refunded day of.
- 2/5
My main thing is when staff are so rude and passive aggressive and right before 11 at your knocking so you can get out
- 3/5
This is a no-frills place where you can get a room that’s quiet away from the hustle bustle and get a good nights sleep before heading to the airport or heading home. It’s safe and very convenient access to get a ride to the airport.

Always my favorite place to stay in Vegas. I prefer it over the strip areas any day. The staff are amazing and extremely helpful. Kami and Ricky are the best!!! Truly appreciate all the help. Love it there always. Been going for about 10 years now and I always leave pleased

I loved this place we went overnight to go to the sphere, which is walking distances. I liked that it looks like a little motel but it has a little casino and a bar. Everyone is fun food was good. I will definitely be going back and recommend to all my people going to the sphere and want a good deal on a room.

If you are looking for a room to stay in with the bare minimum, pillows, bed, bathroom then this is it. honestly looks a bit dilapidated. Needs some TLC. Restroom needed repairs. Wouldn't stay again.
- 1/5
The bathroom door was really bad. There is a gap when you close the bathroom door and you can look through that gap. The bathroom door can’t even shut tight. Very disappointed with the interior of the room as well. There is no refund and no exchange, which makes me very unhappy.

Not bad. For budget travelers, or if you're just in for the Sphere. Clean and functional, but everything is very, very old. Staff were helpful and friendly, but Wifi is sketchy. Wouldn't mind staying again, but only for a bargain.

Close to the strip, near the sphere if you're going to a concert. Great pool, friendly staff, lots of non-smoking rooms. Value for money. Smoking in the dining room. Could do with a separate area for eating meals.

The staff was super helpful and readily available when needed. Enjoyed my stay and will plan to be back sometime soon!
- 2/5
1- The lock on the door does not work 2- I got a non-smoking room, but the smell of smoke outside and weed was present. 3- I found a couple of multi-legged insects 4- There is no hot water in the shower, and the bathtub floods with water, and it takes some time to drain. 5- no cleaning services while i was gone!! Positive things: 1- beds 2- fridge and kitchen
- 4/5
We could see the Sphere from our room 2125! It was walkable. The area is a little dicey but just keep an eye on people. Do not travel alone. Use the front entrance if you feel dicey. But it's not secure keep that in mind. Like a motel.
- 4/5
Check-in quick and friendly staff (didn’t get the gentleman’s name) Room was roomy and clean. Free parking. The bathroom vent was a bit too loud and the toilet made a high pitch noise when filling up. Nice and clean mini fridge and lots of counter space. Small details due to the age of the hotel but other than that it was great stay. 10 min walk to the Sphere, strip and the monorail.
- 4/5

Refrigerator did not work on arrival. After second request, it was replaced with one that worked. Would have liked a microwave. Would like more than 1 waste basket. We could not see the TV while lying in bed.

Solid construction of building very clean convienience stores and McDonald's and city buses a short walk away good water pressure Cigarette smoke wafted into the on-site resturaunt and their free water was chlorine tasting and the drink vending machine was broken

Sizeable rooms and very affordable. For Vegas its a clean facility. Its not the Ritz but its far from a slum. I always stay here for the affordability. It would have been nice to have a chair or two in the room.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious which was great for two girls getting ready. My main complaint was that there was a matter of miscommunication with the staff, that led to us getting rudely reprimanded. We had previously asked if we could pay for a late check-out fee to which we were told to send the request through a dial on the phone. However, because our hotel phone did not work we went once more to tell the front desk to which we were told somebody from staff would come up to assist us. Later, a member of staff later knocked on our door, and we explained our situation about needing to stay till about 2pm, to which he told us that would be fine and free of charge. The next day another staff member barged into the room rudely telling us it was time to check-out and would not let us close the door. He was not being receptive to what we were trying to explain. Upon the manager being called, we once again explained that a member of staff had told us one thing while they were saying something else. The manager said the staff who told us we could check out late was probably "a drunk stranger" despite the man having a security shirt and not appearing drunk at all. We were able to ultimately pay the late check-out fee but the whole experience was unnerving, considering the possibility that a man with a security shirt that was not actually staff was just roaming around. Before this experience, our stay was pleasant and its location is convenient!

When we entered the room it was terrible , there was food stains all over the floor , the carpet was not vacuumed, the wifi sucked . I asked the staff to clean the room the day after they didn't. I would recommend not stay at this place !
- 4/5
Maybe because my room was at the very back of the property and far away from the router.
- 4/5
Stag was polite, but room didn’t clean every day
- 1/5
This property and third-party vendors have some miscommunication problems going on -- those problems cost me several hundred dollars and a lot of frustration. I suggest that they do not rely on third-party vendors like Hotels.com if they cannot coordinate properly. I will not stay here again for that reason.
- 4/5
Very clean spacious rooms. Pool and jacuzzi were nice. Resto and bar open 24 hours so that was very convenient. Close to the sphere and other spots. Front desk was helpful and efficient. Not a fancy place but gets the job done. Wifi was unreliable and constantly going off. Tv worked 50% of the time. Wish there was a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast buffet should be included with the room as it wasn’t anything fancy and very minimal. Door doesn’t reach the ground so you can hear everything. Very loud at night with kids running around. I booked and paid extra for a room with a pool view but got a view of a wall instead.
- 1.5/5
Yes. #1 mini fridge was broken, room was not vacuumed. Sink faucet leaked. No microwave. Lighting was wierd. Was in non smoking but the room next to us, Guest was outside the doorway smoking Marijuana. So it got into our room and blehh.
- 3/5
Access to Las Vegas strip. Overall aged facility. In room accommodations needed. Smokey at eating area.
- 4/5
It was kind of hood
- 4/5
It was a good value for sure. Clean room and bathroom. The lobby and casino are all in one room, so my smoke allergy was bad while checking in and out.
- 3/5
It was an okay hotel/stay. Might stay there again. Location was close to monorail and felt reasonably safe. 24 hr restaurant handy and restaurant staff great. Layout of room cute and clean. But hotel older and not well maintained. Toilet seat peeling, flapper valve in tank so old it had broken off and water would run until manually adjusted. Closet doors difficult to slide. Kitchenette sink faucet loose and shifted so much that I could see the holes underneath. Used the elevator only once because very slow and very creaky. We didn't spend much time there so didn't notify front desk of issues until checked out.
- 3/5
Front desk staff was really nice but house keeping kept ignoring our requests so for towels we constantly had to get them from the pool and had to put all our trash into bags and keep them on the side. Okay location. Most likely will not be going there again.
- 5/5
Good service and good staff
- 4/5
This hotel perhaps with some upgrades could be a very good hotel. Lighting in the room is the one I think was the major thing in my opinion.
- 1/5
We had to leave in the middle of the night and find another place
- 4/5
We arrived early and were nervous we wouldn't be allowed to check in early. We had a concert to attend and were within walking distance to convention center to take monorail. Rooms were spacious and slept comfortably on beds. The rooms are outdated and not clean. They didn't have a microwave which was unfortunate. They don't have elevators which ended up not being an issue until we were leaving. I fell down the last few steps trying to carry my suitcase and other belongings.
- 3.5/5
Location and late night bites and happy hour specials The property has so much potential
- 0.5/5
Close location to the Las Vegas Convention Center is the only positive thing I can mention The hotel is really an old motel and is very run down. The room was not cleaned (dirty light switches, very little light and some lamps didn't work, and generally not a pleasant place to spend time). Some outlets didn't work, the wifi didn't really work and my key stopped working two different times.
- 4.5/5
Location, size of room… nice suite. Wish breakfast was a little cheaper.

For EDC this was awesommeee especially since we only stayed for the night and did "tourist spots" for the day time it was awesome and not to mention to drive only 6 minutes from the strip it was awesomeee right behind the sphere and the Wynn

Shakira the receptionist when I come to see her with my concerns . that they didn't told as about their cleaning service isn't available le unless you call them in the morning. We were there for 3 nights 4 days and they told me only when I went to the front desk and ask why we still have our garbage in ? As of toiletries we were given 1 tiny shampoo and 1 tiny conditioner for 4 days for 2 ppl.

O una versión más fuerte: “Our vehicle was broken into during our stay and my wife’s wallet was stolen. Extremely disappointing experience. If you care about your safety and belongings, stay somewhere else.”

It was really easy to check in and out and a walkable distance from the Sphere (not the nicest walk). Ricky at check-in was kind & efficient. The linens, tub, toilet and sink were all clean, but the property itself is old and not in the best condition. The walls, curtains, bedskirt & floors felt icky and had lots of years of grime and wear and tear. Overall it was good enough if you can't afford anywhere better and need a place to stay, but I would stay somewhere else next time.

Don't do it. Room was filthy - I took photos of everything we noticed right at check in and I was still charged after check out for who knows what. Desk person said "not able to tell you that". Makeup on the bathroom wall. Something weird in the "kitchen" sink. Dirty towel hanging in the bathroom, hair all over the bathroom door and walls. Fridge was not on, there is no microwave or coffee maker. Couch and floor was dirty. Bed was terrible, pillows are tiny. The TV didn't work right so had to wait around for maintenence night one to fix it... after I told him HOW to fix it. The room layout was really weird, can't see the TV from the bed - which is where most watch from, no? There are only a few channels, not of them kid friendly. The grounds were dirty, reaked of cigarettes. Creepy people all around. Didn’t feel safe walking to our room. Woke up to my truck with some sort of blue liquid dripping down the side like someone threw something at it. Couldn't even enjoy food or drinks with my daughter because the entire lobby was nothing but cigarette smoke. I sent in my complaints within the first hour and nothing was addressed. Spent an unfortunate four days/3 nights here. Spend a few more bucks and stay away from this place!

The room was clean. The staff was very helpful. Perfect for a great getaway weekend.

Horrible, drunk screaming people at all ours of the night. Front desk and security were no help.

Bed was comfortable reasonably priced and close to walking distance to many great places

Si quieren lujo, no es una opción es como un departamento es cómodo pero antiguo y por el precio que nosotros lo agarramos en ese entonces está bien es la verdad pues fue lo básica servicio el casino es muy chiquito pero como les digo por el precio está muy bien

Nice hotel. Great for visiting cons at the convention center
- 4/5
The rooms were not all of that clean. There was still soap in the soap dish. The floors was not vacuumed. Very good.
- 3.5/5
The pool was clean and the location wasn't to far from anywhere we needed to go. The shower was pretty dirty and the sink/toilet area was very outdated and small and off balance. Not very pleasant private time experience.

Cheap place close to the convention center! The bathroom floor was a little unclean but it wasn’t the worst

Hot shower with pretty good pressure. I would stay again for a trip centered around the convention center.

The room itself was clean but was dated and confusing. There was a small couch across from a very small tv. We liked the couch. Blackout curtains worked well. Ac was hit or miss. Fridge was not cold and was located in weird awkward kitchenette area across from the bed. The entire kitchenette area was gutted so there was an awkward wide bar area, fridge and kitchen sink. There was no cooktop / cooking utensils / or trappings of a regular kitchen. No coffee / tea / water available in room. No coffee maker or microwave. Bathroom small and dated. We wish the bathroom door was not paper thin as it was directly across from the bed. Fan was broken and located in an oddly recessed light future that made a very loud grinding noise when the light was turned on. There was a big closet and a few drawers to stash clothes in. Felt like a dated extended stay / timeshare property without the amenities in the room to complete the functionality. Good value for the price. Staff was lovely especially with a lot of ‘characters’ and personalities at the front desk. Might stay there again.

Absolutely no updates to the hotel. Looks like they’ve had the same carpet since it was established in the 70’s. No coffee, no microwave in the room and the mini fridge smelled like something died in it. Will never stay there again.
- 5/5
Beautiful, spacious and lowkey hotel if you’re looking to get away from the craziness of the strip, but still walkable to metro and the convention center. Staff is super accommodating and friendly. Honestly had an amazing experience here. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet smaller hotel experience with food and bar options available onsite.

staff was lovely, i didn't try the breakfast
- 3/5
Staff was mostly friendly; the rooms were very basic with frustrating quirks (lights, tv, key card malfunctions etc.). You get what you pay for, an affordable Vegas stay somewhat close to the strip and convention center. If you don’t stay in your room very much, you’ll be fine
- 4/5
Great location and full amenities on site. The mattresses and pillows were old.
- 3/5
But, if you don't mind a dingy motel feel, it is very affordable and we didn't see any bugs or stained sheets or sketchy people hanging around the property. 3/5 stars.
- 4/5
Negatives: Older rooms with some cosmetic wear. Positives: Super easy check-in. Park out front & short walk to the front desk. Abundant free parking (and it's not a mile walk away, unlike the massive hotels). Super easy access to the rooms (no walking a mile thru a casino, up the elevator, another mile down the corridor, etc.) Room was quiet, clean, & comfortable. Big room with proper desk & chairs. Water was instant hot & seemed to be filtered for better water quality. Beds had firm & soft pillows for back & side sleepers. Free Wi-fi worked well. Big points for having a mini Fridge & USB ports at 3 locations for total of 6 plugs! Check-out was easy, just leave the key in the room. Also, for EV drivers there are 24/7 ChargePoint L2 chargers with 4 plugs just a 20 min walk south over at the Atomic Museum. Final thoughts: I liked this place a lot. It's not a bigger strip hotel with their amenities & distractions, but the cost & stress is much less. Great location in all ways that matter. It would be even better, if there were onsite EV chargers with a fair price per kW. Then, it would be perfect. We'll look for that, when we come back.

Crackheads walking around all night. Didn’t feel safe.

Aside from those points, I would absolutely recommend it for someone looking for an affordable, cozy, spot to sleep, shower, and get a quick drink/food during your vegas convention hangouts.

Perfect place for my stay while visiting to go the Sphere, such a close an easy walk. Had fun in the pool & hot tub. And the room was more than spacious for what I needed for the quick weekend. The staff was very friendly with any questions I had as well. Would stay again!

Away from the strip but not too far. You can walk to the monorail which is about 0.3 mile. It is walking distance to the convention center. Staff are friendly No microwave in the room. You can hear everything from outside or next door. The carpet is dirty so never walk on it with bear foot. I wouldn’t recommend for families with kids.

We got what we paid for and what we expected. It would be nice to have had a microwave. Being in the outer rooms, not far from the road, we heard horns and sirens all night long. I would not recommend being in a room so close to the road.

from staff to the room, Mardi Gras is excellent for a quick stay. Closer to the Convention Center. I would definitely book again for next year. Staff are so helpful as well

Old school Vegas hotel. Small slots area with a bar and grill. Good Happy Hour! Nice swimming pool. Good sized rooms with a sitting area and refrigerator. Plenty of parking. Very close to Sphere. Great value!!! Decent buffet breakfast on weekends. Thin walls. Out-dated decor. Sink drains slowly as does tub.
- 3/5
Room was clean with some exceptions in a shower. In general, the hotel is quite old with all the consequences, but is cheap and conveniently located. Especially for those attending events at LVCC. A monorail and a loop stations are in a close proximity. I didn't consume breakfast, but saw people eating in the lobby bar. Visually, they were satisfied. Rooms require certain refurbishing, a fan in a toilet is noisy, and if you wanna sleep well, close the door to a shower, because water flows in plumbing pipes are too audible. Internet is slow, from time to time unavailable.

Have stayed at this hotel in the past. I liked the convenience of the location, the price of the stay, and the peace and quiet I had for the 3 days I was there. Received the last room in the very back of the complex. Toilet leaked from underneath the toilet tank. The shower never got hot after ten minutes of running for the duration of my trip(3 days). I had planned to add an extra day but after those issues I left early.

My only issue about the hotel room was the doorknob to the bathroom broke off. Who ever installed the doorknob was didn't do a good job. Body towels were a little too small and so was the shower tub. If you're a big guy you probably won't like it. Would I come back? Probably if there is another event at the convention center

- 3/5
A mixed bag. Plusses: Low price, large clean room, comfortable bed, nice tub/shower, easy parking, smoking and non-smoking rooms. Minuses: No housekeeping, inadequate toiletries, restaurant prices and meal compositions inaccurately shown on hotel website, water in jacuzzi tepid, only one person assigned to bar and restaurant, noise from early morning trash collection and airplanes. For the price it was ok.
- 4/5
Unbeatably close to Convention Center South Hall
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly going above and beyond to help us. Shout out to Rickey specifically for helping us out throughout our trip!
- 4/5
Can’t beat the price.
- 2.5/5
It was close to the convention center that I was in town for. The staff was WONDERFUL! Kind and efficient, they answered all my questions and were super helpful. The toilet didn’t work for a full day and we had to have a plumber come twice because he didn’t fix it the first time. There was also a cigarette butt just chilling on the floor in the corner…not a lot of light in there either—the curtains were like bolted shut.
- 2/5
Many guests had to reprogram their keys because they stopped working daily. The room was for two people, and they only provided one chair. When we asked for an additional chair, they told us there weren't any more. Two lights in the room didn't work; we complained, but they were never repaired.
- 5/5
Front desk staff very friendly and welcoming. Property felt safe. Clean and great value for the price. Lots of space in room. Bed was very comfortable, black out curtains assured I got good rest. Quiet location at the hotel itself, highway sounds from outside could not be helped
- 2/5
Floors not vacuumed something orange sticky all over walls this places need a major deep clean ans the tub wont drain
- 5/5
Everyone was really nice and the rooms were comfortable!
- 2.5/5
Soft water and view of The Sphere Bed was very uncomfortable and old, pillows were old/not useful, toilet was shoddily shored up, shower curtain was ineffectual, paint and outlet ripped off the wall. The property is advertised as a hotel but the layout is that of a motel - the room doors are outside of the building. They do not exit into a hall or interior building.
- 4/5
Great location in walking distance to the Sphere. Large and clean room, comfortable bed, nice bar and restaurant at the property, staff were very friendly and helpful, free parking, great value Property needs some updating, no microwave, coffee pot or eating ware in the room
- 5/5
Cheap and close. Easy walk to Sphere or convention center.
- 4/5
The staff was top notch. I think they know this is an "economic option" for travelers and try to make up for it will service. It is dated. The rooms are not fancy at all but they are clean and the bed was comfy enough for a fussy traveler to sleep on night one. The 24 restaurant was not kidding when they had a limited menu when we got there at 2 AM. All they had was pepperoni pizza. That said, best damn 2 AM pizza I had outside of NY. Coffee was really good as well. Missed the buffet on day 1 but the restaurant was better than expected and again very attentive staff. We did make the buffet on day 2 and it was good standard fare. Again service was excellent. Would we stay here again? Maybe. I wouldn't say no in a pinch. At night the area is a little sketchy, especially by the 7-Eleven.
- 3/5
It was a budget place that is a mile from the sphere. It is clean, but showers didn’t always have hot water, depending on use by others. Pool seemed nice and staff was friendly. There was some smoking in the casino and bar which is weird these days. Casino old and outdated.
- 5/5
i really like the hotel very clean. room had a weird smell not a bad smell it reminded me of old lady perfume lol but overall wonderful experience. definitely booking again.
- 5/5
Great location, great price
- 3/5
Very good value, but not much to celebrate. Outdated fixtures and decor, and a pervasive odor of 30-year old cigarette smoke, but I guess that’s par for the course in affordable Las Vegas hotels. Mostly clean. Staff were excellent and friendly. Easy walk to the Sphere, which is probably why you’re looking at this property.

great location close to LVCC, helpful and friendly staff, big room lack of kettle/coffee machine in the room. Plenty of space in the room but not a single thing in the kitchenette area except 2 plastic cups. Being able to make a tea, and use a real cup & spoon would have been great.
- 5/5
This is gotta be the closest and most reasonably priced place near the convention center, better yet it's even got a hot tub for those days when you spend 10 miles walking around the show floor!
- 2/5
The bed was old and way too soft. Very uncomfortable. Needed more blankets during the night. Thank goodness there was another bed to take blankets from. No coffee in room. The one bright spot was the staff that checked me in but I still haven’t gotten my $100 deposit back into my account.
- 4/5
Very close to the strip, spacious rooms. I had no problems. The food at the bar is pretty decent. There was a breakfast buffet one of the days, that was a nice surprise.
- 3/5
I was looking for an inexpensive place near the convention center. The Mardi Gras filled this bill! I highly-recommend it to anyone who wants to walk to conferences and conventions. Just don't expect the Bellagio or Venetian.
- 3/5
But no oven or toothpaste is available in room they won’t give extra check out time like not more than 30 mins
- 3/5
My flight got cancelleld and I called the hotel to cancel because I could not get there. They were sold out and I called as soon as Frotnier cancelled the flights to please resell my room and they would not becuase it was booked at third party.\. So I paid for the room that I never got to becuase of the flights being cancelled, and instead slept in the airport in the city I was supposed to be flying out of - and never made it toVegas where the hotel was booked because Frotneir did't have any flight going to Vegas or to LA for another 3 days!! I guess lesson learned.

After catching the first one, I hoped it was an isolated incident. But as Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, once said regarding private credit risks—"when you find one cockroach, there are usually many more." Unfortunately, he was right. I found another one while washing my face the next morning, which was a very unpleasant way to start the day. While I understand that being on the first floor makes it harder to keep pests out, my colleague also mentioned seeing cockroaches right outside their room. I strongly suggest the hotel invest more in professional pest control and properly seal the gaps under the doors on the ground floor. The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the location is great. I truly hope the management resolves this hygiene issue soon, as it's the only thing holding back an otherwise pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Convenient and room was clean.
- 4/5
Great place to stay on the cheap. Would be nice if they had coffee machines in the room.

I enjoyed my stay at the Mardi Gras. I had an issue with the toilet in the room. Maintenance came quickly, but couldn't resolve the issue. Front Desk and staff quickly got me another room. Staff and front desk were very helpful and polite.

Hats off to the staff. Front desk staff was professional, courteous, friendly, and extremely helpful! Room was clean and spacious. The pool was clean, refreshing, with plenty of seating and pool towels. My stay was Thursday through Monday, and I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint... WiFi was very spotty in the room. Aside from that, I have already recommended the property to other friends and family.

I had a nice quiet stay. I arrived earlier than planed and the front desk staff was able to get me into my room before the scheduled time, which is always nice. The room was clean and well stocked with towels, etc. Curtains and lighting were easy to control. Shower worked great. The hotel is near a monorail stop, which I used couple of times to get to and from the Strip. Much cheaper than a ride service and gives a nice city view along the way.
- 5/5
Very close to the monorail. I really enjoyed staying at thus hotel.
- 2/5
No hot water the first night when I needed a shower after a long drive. Front desk acknowledged that lack of hot water is a problem that they're working on, and that I could "wait until morning" for the hot water. Doesn't do me any good when I needed one the first night. Internet service sucked. I ended up having to us my cellphone to get on the internet to get anything done in a decent amount of time. Bartender Liz was not very friendly. Never saw her smile the entire time that I was there. I had planned on staying longer at the bar but decided just to leave. Room very spacious and bed was comfortable.

Always a pleasure to stay at Mardi Grass. Rooms clean, lots of parking, easy checking, nice views (from 2nd floor and 3rd).

Only stayed overnight. The food was very good. The staff was amazing every where we went. The rooms could use a little TLC but they were very clean. The beds were so comfortable.
- 5/5
Nice staff. Great location. Will be back soon.
- 4/5
You know, this was one of the only places available as I booked the day prior to new years eve. But, now that I know about this place, this is going to be my spot from now on. I love that they have a bowing alley, an arcade with some great video games. I spent every day over 4 days in the arcade and If i remember correctly there is also a movie theater here as well. I didn't have time to see a movie but defintely next time.,
- 4/5
We got in about midnight, and the first room was missing the tv remote. After we checked with the front desk about it, they wouldn’t have anyone that could program a new one until 6:00, so they moved us to another room. It was spotless and the staff was very helpful. The bar/restaurant is clean and and reasonably priced.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Courteous and professional behaving staff. Very clean and organized environment. Would definately stay here again.

Not as bad a hotel as some say. It is older, but the room was large and quiet.
- 2/5
the room neglected and the chair was only one supposed to be two but asking for one more, it's never happened
- 5/5
The staff is usually great there. But I think the carpeting needed professional cleaning. Always appreciate the very low resort fee of $5 and I'm usually able to park my car with all of my work product right outside my door!!

I have stated this hotel several times and it’s always been great stood up. Was the groom was clean. Service was amazing. Shout out to Eliana and Jerry.

- 4/5
Great staff, nice room size and close to everything.
- 4/5
The staff were nice, accommodating, and the bartenders as well + extremely helpful The room was spacious despite it being not aesthetically pleasing; the water was nice and hot, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner was great instead of it being the new-age wall thermostat for airflow The hotel is a couple minute walk from the convention center and the monorail; which was extremely helpful for my husband and I’s stay. We loved how cheap the bar at the hotel was, and I adored that it had that “dive bar” vibe, with penny slots and all. Vegas is expensive but this was a cozy stay for what it was worth.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend staying there.

Overall property was worn /out dated but clean. Shakira was efficient but unfriendly. No eye contact, banter or smile. The rest of the receptionists & house cleaning staff were friendly & helpful.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It wasn’t safe and the people are loud.

Note, the immediate area can be sketchy at night, especially if you go off properly walking. On properly, zero issues. Hotel has fantastic security always roaming the property. Clean and good price

I was under the impression that the rooms had either a small kitchen or microwave but nope just a mini fridge. Lastly the couch was tattered with leftover condom rappers, so we completely avoided the living space. When we saw the casino it looked like we had gone back in time, it was a bit strange but like the plumbing in the building it had been held together with anything and everything available to avoid actually fixing the problem. The only reason I gave this place any stars is your bartender who made it bearable, with an amazing attitude and going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Soo, unfortunately I highly doubt that we will ever be back let alone recommend this location.
- 5/5
Room was clean and well maintained. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. Carpeted floors seemed a bit old but was clean overall.
- 3/5
(1) add safety bar in the bath shower area to avoid falls and lawsuits (2) add water recirculating pump as hot water was taking a long time to arrive. Sad to report my wife turned the water on for at least 10 min for the hot water to arrive. We did not want to waste water, but we are not used to cold shower in the morning. (3) replace front door frames as it is very difficult to open and close front door to allow locking. (4) would like to have either a microwave or a hot water heater in the room. (5) down the road, would enjoy having a gym on site (6) we had an issue that somehow we did not get our credit back from the front desk. She insisted that she returned to us, but we cannot find it. Not sure what had happened. Otherwise everything very good.
- 2/5
Very old, tired and dumpy. Could use a total renovation.
- 5/5
Room was clean, close to the Sphere. Walls were a little thin and tv had few channels. My only option was action movies. Overall, I'd stay here again. I did get good rest!
- 4/5
Staff was great and room was very clean. It's an older hotel, with a bit of a smoky lobby, so maybe not the best impression upon walking in. Great value though if you need a quiet clean room within super convenient walking distance to the Convention Center.
- 3/5
the room was just O.K. needs new mattresses and the bathroom floor in the corner by the door was filthy
- 1/5
Don't stay here unless you are a smoker. The "non-smoking" room smelled like a smoker stayed there the night before. My sense is cigarette smoke permeates every nook and cranny of this hotel.
- 3/5
Place needs some renovations

Large rooms, kept nice. Staff was helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room, liked how the room layout was, and mostly da hot was was gooooood
- 4/5
The location is fabulous for a concert at the Sphere. The check in was quick and friendly, the room was clean and bed was very comfy. That being said the elevator was out of a horror movie and the stairs were pretty sketchy. The other guests were also a bit sketchy. But for one night it was just right and the restaurant and bar seemed cool.
- 5/5
Staff was nice and polite. Would be nice if there was a coffee machine or microwave but everyone else was great.
- 5/5
Everything was awesome the only bad thing was no discount no nothing for my bday and side staying with them 4 days long
- 5/5
Thank you for the perfect stay.
- 3/5
The staff were very kind and welcoming. The hotel is dated and you don't want to look closely at the decor or furnishings, but it was clean and fine for a brief one night stay.
- 5/5
Great room great staff and the small restaurant had the best service and really good food
- 5/5
Great internet connection No disturbance
- 4/5
Staff were courteous and welcoming. The room looks dated but the bed was clean and the carpet had minimal stains. Overall not a bad choice for those traveling on a budget. Would stay here again if on a budget.
- 5/5
I absolutely love it, it’s quiet all the staff is incredibly nice! And honestly the food is amazing too! I loved it
- 5/5
Great rooms, for the price it’s perfect
- 4/5
Clean and within walking distance to sphere.
- 5/5
I always enjoy my stay there and yes the room was clean but i prefer the outside rooms because i can watch my truck in the parking lot. I wasnt able too this time like i always am in the past because i was put on the inside rooms by the pool. I like to have a view of my Vehicle.
- 2/5
Old building with A lot night Noise
- 4/5
Clean room, amazing staff, you can step right out side and see the sphere and very close to the strip!
- 4/5
Good stay. Great service and good accommodations.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful. Room was clean with comfortable beds and pillows. No coffee pots in the room. And breakfast was not included as advertised.
- 3/5
No hot water
- 5/5
The staff was great, speedy service, and value. Yeni was great when she checked us in. Quick and easy. Breakfast was good too with quick service. Anything we needed was meet with urgency, I really applaud the staff. Great stay and value for my money. Everything I needed for a 4 night stay.

- 4/5
The room was clean and well prepared. The check in staff was very friendly and professional.
- 2/5
The hotel and my room were poorly maintained and in need of a major remodel. If you like old hotels, rooms surface cleaned between guests, and smelly hotel lobbies, you'll love this place! I spotted a couple of pills underneath the sink area, who knows how long they were there....
- 1/5
I haven’t received my deposit back.
- 4/5
It wasn't perfect, but for the price, it was fine. The staff was very nice & helpful. The room was pretty clean but there was a little piece of broken glass on the carpet, but no one was hurt. I saw it & just picked it up and threw it away. I would have liked a warmer blanket, but I just wore more clothes to bed. The room was fine, but a bit worn with age, but for the price...it was fine. The amenities I would have liked would have been a coffee maker, microwave, and safe. If you just want a room to sleep in, it was fine.

Clean and convenient.
- 2/5
You get what you pay for. Dirty carpets, no hot water, TV didn’t work, the toilet had no cover, but the towel rack was right above the toilet, so one of the towels fell in the toilet. With that being said, I only paid $56 for the night. What more could I expect? All of the employees were nice, though
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Staff rooms were great
- 5/5
The room and hotel was exactly as advertised! Everyone was super friendly and quick to lend a helping hand when needed! The food was great, with a nice selection to choose from and the bartender was the best, he really made the stay that much of a better experience!!
- 3/5
The cleanliness could have been better
- 3/5
The area around is a bit sketchy, there were like 10 police cars around the place during my first night of stay. TV was not working at all, no hot water during the night, everything felt a bit worn down in general
- 1/5
The gentleman who checks in was rude and unprofessional We had to take out the garbage and go to the reception every day for clean towels The bathtub was clogged The TV set never worked The toilet seat was broken when we arrived, this we reported and it was replaced They didn’t have any security personnel and when we arrived from the airport the first night the police was in the parking lot probably looking for someone
- 3/5
Old and dirty
- 5/5
Good stay
- 5/5
Big clean rooms
- 2/5
My room key unlocked other rooms on my floor, I walked into someone else's room on accident. It wasn't a good experience.
- 1/5
Staff neglect. Didn't even stay because of 100 dollars deposit was not in my booking. Refund please
- 5/5
The breakfast wasn’t good. Ordered wheat got sourdough toast. Hash browns too crispy tasted like sitting a while. Yes I know I should have sent it back. Cheese omelette tasted ok not hot . Other than that everything else was fine. I stayed here many times 20+ years usually food was good
- 5/5
The staff was polite!

- 4/5
Something else. The bathtub was clogged.
- 4/5
It wasn’t perfect, but it did the job. It was affordable, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely will book with them again.
- 3/5
When checking in Ricky was amazing supper sweet and was able to accommodate us early instead of 3pm. When we got to our room the bed had hairs from previous people and the fan in the bathroom was sweeping I called the front desk to see if we could be placed somewhere else and she stated sorry we don’t have any rooms available to move you. So I’m sorry. Not how can I help you with possible new sheets or anything else.
- 1/5
No Breakfast Provided and no proper information
- 4/5
The parking lot has a locked gate which would access a side street. The main road is one way and no u turns allowed close by. To turn left you need to drive miles to turn around. If the gate would open a left exit is available from the side street.
- 3/5
The room smelled like cigarette smoke. Terrible.
- 4/5
Was okay
- 4/5
Room could have been cleaner, used bandaid on bathroom floor behind door.
- 3/5
My 70 year old mom and I stood 1 night and our bathroom ceiling had holes cracks and you could see the inside . The carpet was pretty stained and a pillow was dirty .
- 3/5
- 5/5
It is affordable and within a reasonable distance from the strip. And it is clean as well.
- 4/5
We did not do breakfast there! the place is old but has lots of potential! Our room did not had all lights working but was a studio! 3rd floor no elevator. But for one night was great!
- 1/5
The worst hotel I have ever been to. Walked into the lobby and it smelt horrible, the receptionist was very rude to everyone standing there. He got mad at the people in front of me because they couldn’t speak English. Finally got to our room and the smell was of dead fish and old wet towels. The carpet was so stained with who knows what. The mattress and sheets looked soiled. Floor looked stained of what looked like many bodily fluids. We stayed for two minutes and left. We could bot stay. Took our loss since Expedia and hotel would not refund us since we did not stay and take pictures. Don’t go there.
- 2/5
The price was fine but the cleanliness was not appropriate as mentioned in the photos, the AC dint work and when i switched on the heater it started stinking really bad, lights were not working and bed was uncomfortable and blanket was too thin, such that i felt cold whole night
- 4/5
Somewhat dated, but a good value for what you get
- 3/5
1. Didn’t get the room I reserved because of the rain. Guess it floods by the rooms. 2. Room was average. Bathtub slowly drained. I’ve seen turtles run faster.3.Sink stopper broken. 4. On 3rd day of 4 day stay, we asked if HK could exchange towels and take garbage out. Never happened. 5. Casino was okay. Carl Ynne was super!!
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Convenient location. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Kitchen was closed
- 5/5
I love this hotel and the price range
- 3/5
No breakfast
- 2/5
I’m still waiting for them to release my deposit, it’s been over a week they seem poorly trained also I couldn’t get hot water in my room and had to change rooms
- 4/5
Clean large room. Very smokey downstairs. Lots of homeless gambling in very small gambling place
- 5/5
It’s a ok spot to be for cheap
- 3/5
Room was big, carpet was relatively clean the rest of the room spotless and the bed was decent. No microwave.
- 2/5
The rooms were pretty disgusting. Only gave it two stars because the guy at the front desk must have know how gross they were and allowed me to pick a different room. First room have dirty floors( carpet had some kind of feces on it) hole in the shower ceiling and floors in both bathrooms were not cleaned properly. I took pictures will upload
- 4/5
we didn’t go to the bar or the breakfast we had other plans. Room is clean. Staff was nice. Just wondering why there wasn’t any microwave in the room or coffee maker like usual rooms I’ve ever stayed in.
- 5/5
Good hotel for the price. We had to be at the convention center and this was walkable to it. There's a monorail station a couple of blocks away to get you to the strip. Only has about 30-50 slots so not a place to stay if you want to be in a big casino. Downside was there was no microwave in our room. I would stay again and recommend. It's not a luxury hotel but a good place for a home base.
- 5/5
Had a great time in Vegas!.
- 3/5
The room could use some upkeep. I was in room 1107. There was a lot of street noise. I was only able to get a good night sleep 1 out of the 3 nights of my stay. My last night, you could hear a couple arguing and someone playing their car audio with a lot of bass. I didn't realize it before I booked but it's location is in a skechy part of the city. Restaurant had very limited options. Now for the positive things. It is .5 miles away from the Sphere. I came to watch Wizard of Oz so it's a short walk. And the server at the restaurant when I had dinner was friendly and nice.
- 2/5
Rooms were not the cleanest. Took over 30 mins to get hot water. Sink faucets blew air before water. Elevator did not work consistently and we had an elder person with us that had a hard time with the stairs. Staff was nice enough.
- 3/5
Couch in room diseased.
- 4/5
The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous.
- 3/5
Adequate hotel.
- 4/5
Nice size room.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great location easy access to the monorail, the strip, sphere. No parking fees or resort fees! We’ll stay again
- 5/5
You can't a better deal for the price.
- 4/5
Everything was ok but I asked for i discount because i stayed 1 more day and you guys didn't give any that's not fare
- 5/5
Went smooth
- 5/5
Room was good staff was super friendly. Liz the bartender was great!
- 4/5
I booked this hotel based on information and pictures on the internet. The check in staff was very friendly and welcoming! We were placed in a room on the second floor that faces Paradise Road. The road was very busy morning and night, with sirens several times each night. the room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. There was space for a kitchen, but no sink, which only left the small sink outside the bathroom. The bathroom tissue holder did not have a roll holder, however, the shower had great pressure and stream. During one early evening, we heard shouting from another room that sounded like an argument and went on for a good hour, if not more. One last thing, the chain on the door was questionable.
- 5/5
Great room at a great price. We will be back for sure!
- 1/5
Old, run-down rooms. The room fior was jammed. Needed to ram it for it to open. The air vent in the bathroom was unbeatably loud Calling this a hotel and not a Motel (and three stars at that) is an insult to the hospitality industry
- 3/5
Room need to be updated
- 5/5
I had an issue with my check in and the staff was very helpful and made it very smooth. It was a nice facility and beautiful views

- 4/5
The staff was friendly. The room was clean. I had an excellent view of the Sphere. There was a convenience store within walking distance. The lobby was extremely outdated and smelled like an ashtray. The neighborhood didn't look very safe. There was also a rodeo going on in the next block at the convention center that made entering the property a little challenging. Once I got there, I walked anywhere I needed to go. Overall, I received what I paid for and I would probably stay there again.
- 5/5
Very quaint location away from strip. Definitely reserving for April.
- 4/5
Met -perhaps exceeded - expectations relative to the average $90/night rate for 4 nights 2 Queen beds. The rooms are dated but clean. The location is off the “strip” but close to a monorail station and within walking distance of both the Sphere & Conference Center. There are definitely more extravant accommodations options available in LV; however, this economy lodging afforded the opportunity to spend $ on other entertainment, activities, food & beverage, etc.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and check in went smoothly 😎

Clean room. Tv not near bed. Walls were thin. Neighbor watching tv at 6am. Could hear it though the wall loudly. Pool/hot tub had many people screaming and the noise was very loud though my front window. Had to move to another hotel before stay was over.
- 4/5
The location was close to the convention center and was easy access in and out to other parts of Las Vegas. The property was older, but It was a good value for what we needed. The one con was the smoke in the dining area that shared an open space with the small casino.
- 5/5
Quick friendly check in. Clean abd comfortable beds. Close to sphere for walking. Great service at bar. Brealfast tasty
- 4/5
I don’t think the rooms to be so clean because it looked very old, but it was nice. Actually, I will stay again.
- 1/5
we walked in on our first day and it smelt like cigarettes to continue with that There was cigarettes outside of our door, like three or four of them. The bed was super uncomfortable, literally like a hard mattress, even though there was blankets It was still hard. now the rack to steam Your clothes was dirty so I had to tell my boyfriend to just put a towel on it overall everything was a 2 out of 10. The shower was whatever the sink was whatever and on top of that when my boyfriend opened the fridge it completely fell off so we had to fix that and we found a sock in our room out of nowhere and there was just pee stains on the toilet and it was not from him we had not yet use the toilet and we just see that I wish I could get like a refund or something like that but would never stay here again first and last time
- 4/5
Good for a night while i was in town for work. Hard to get a ride from the area though the walk to the monorail wasnt bad
- 3/5
Room was clean. Staff was pleasant. No breakfast. They had no good movie channels. No channel guide. LNtlwas accep⁹ls
- 4/5
Staff, spaciuos room
- 5/5
Room was clean and in nice shape. No coffee maker or microwave but there was a fridge. Staff were all very friendly. Bar/restaurant has a local vibe to it- not big and shiny and fancy but it was perfect for me, and reasonably priced!
- 4/5
The staff here is awesome. The food is good in the restaurant. The room was clean (except for the carpet, so bring flip flops). The pool area and hot tub were clean and nice, with towels handy. All in all, a good hotel for the money!
- 4/5
Thank you!
- 3/5
Based on the reviews I read before booking the room, I expected much more. The room was clean, but the bed was supposed to be a king and I think it might have been a queen, the bed was saggy in the middle, the toilet seat loose, small holes in the ceiling from previous leaks, and it's very noisy. You are right under the flight path from LAS. Ultimately you get what you pay for. The staff was very nice.
- 2/5
It's very old and needs updated. I won't stay there again
- 5/5
Everything was great, only concern was the elevator.
- 2/5
Airport noise. The staff and restaurant is good!
- 5/5
While maybe not one of the newer places, it was comfortable, clean and reasonable. Walkable to the strip, restaurants, etc. Good happy hour prices!
- 1/5
Hotel is run down and neglected. Bathroom door in the room didn’t even close.
- 4/5
Good staff, good rate & no hassles!

Even the hot water didn’t work
- 4/5
Very nice room, good hot water, simple but reliable climate controls. Check-in was easy; staff was efficient and helpful. Quite a good menu at the cozy bar/restaurant, but worth mentioning that it's a smoking area. My non-smoking room was blissfully fresh.
- 3/5
Staff was courteous just the room could use like a deep cleaning 🤔 but room great size and the room set up not bad in a good way but just clean the room but worth what u pay for
- 2/5
My room had no hot water and the toilet did not flush, staff did not move me on my first request. I waited a day and when I approached the desk they still could not move me. The manager was able to move my room on the 3rd day of my 4 day stay.
- 4/5
Room was very spacious and you get free parking. Great water pressure and amazing deal for the price!
- 4/5
The beds and pillows was amazingly comfortable
- 1/5
I canceled my reservation after i seen my room, only to find out that because i step into the room i couldn't receive my refund for the cancellation(per their GM on duty at the time). So I'm out of my money for walking into a room, even though there was nothing stating this before i made the reservation. I will never go to this establishment again.
