The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

I have been staying at The Venetian for years. Love their rooms, love their friendly staff, love a lot about this particular resort. This last visit was a bit of a miss for me. Though they gave us a great pool side room on a high floor, the noise and music from the pool below was so loud, it shook the entire room and there was no chance for napping, even though we arrived after an 8 hour trek to get to Vegas. The music only ended at 6pm!! The hotel was kind enough to comp us a little for our displeasure, but I would make sure in future (if I were to come back) to NEVER again ask for a room on pool side. Also, the very first towel I took out to shower in the morning was completely covered in grease and dirt stains. VERY unusual for Venetian. Perhaps I need to explore some newer properties before I return.

Clean room

Everything was okay. they didn't clean the room daily. My room service order didn't show up...but they never called and/or said that there was a mistake.

On our last day of our stay, our room was not cleaned and we were away the whole day… We returned at 9:30 PM to find a dirty room and no bath gel in the shower. When we called the desk for help, they said it would be at least a 45 minute wait until someone could come to the room. We had to get up at 2 AM to leave for the airport. Eventually someone came to the room and they said they were going to take care of us by adjusting our charges for the week, but nothing was ever done about it.

The concepto: all things in One beautiful place

The property was beautiful and well kept and very clean, but everything was so expensive. It was hard to get even complementary bottled water.. We paid $40 for two drinks at the pool, including a three dollar tip. Not to mention all the machines were tight as a drum. So don’t spend much money for nice views.

My overall experience was much more than I expected. The hotel/ casino is fabulous. This was my first time in Las Vegas and had a blast. This city is amazing and The Venetian Hotel Resort was a decision I do not regret. I would highly recommend this resort😎😎😎!

Very unimpressive. Everything is kinda meh.

How can you not love the Venetian! The location is perfect. It is great to come out of the elevator into the Canal Shops. I love that Bouchon is in the hotel, I could eat there every day. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom and tub are amazing. My three kids shared the sofa bed and sofa and were very comfortable. We got a room overlooking the Sphere and it kept them entertained. Now, they've added Bazaar Meats in the Palazzo connected to the Venetian, amazing! I've stayed at most hotels in Vegas, but I keep coming back to the Venetian because it really is the best.

The room was clean and well designed. It was more room than we even needed actually. However it was weird the beds didn't have fitted sheets. Just a poorly sized flat sheet I had to keep fixing.

The hotel was amazing, room was huge. Me and my wife said that the bed was the comfiest bed we had ever slept on. Pools and workout rooms were awesome as well. There is a coffee bean there that has good coffee. And a laundry list of food options in the lobby that are actually quality. We had a hair in the food 😭but they replaced it right away. And the stores were endless you could walk around all day. We did a first look in the lobby the fountain area is really cool.

The staff was wonderful, the location and the atmosphere.

Very large rooms with a great layout for a family, I feel staying in small rooms adds to the stress of traveling but this room was excellent!

We were passing through on a road trip and decided to stay. It was a great room with a view of the high roller Ferris wheel. I wish we would of had more time at the hotel

Convenient with Walgreens nearby

We were told that compensation would be provided for the inconvenience, so we are currently waiting to see how that is handled. If they make it right, I will definitely stay here every time I return to Las Vegas. In the past, I usually stayed at Caesars Palace or Tropicana, but I think I may have found my new favorite place. I really enjoyed the casino, as well as the variety of food and shopping options available on the property. Overall, I would rate my experience a 9 out of 10, with the TV issue being the only reason it wasn’t a perfect score. Lastly- The Location is 5min ride to airport as well great place to be able to walk to manny other casinos, shops & attractions. With an excellent view of the strip.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Venetian! The convenience of staying there if you have an event at the Sphere is PERFECT! There’s so much to do and so many restaurants right there you don’t even have to leave if you don’t want to! There’s suites are huge and the beds are comfortable! And the whole place is beautiful! The staff is friendly!! I loved staying there and would definitely go back!

Best hotel casino in Las Vegas. The location, staff, casino and restaurants were all top notch. We will be back. It’s elegant and classy but still down to earth and relaxing.

Although the room was nice there was no bathroom fan that worked and there was no coffee maker in room. Nothing was close by and our room was really, really, really far from elevators. Also every place you go there are time share people pressuring you to go to a presentation. If you don’t pay an extra $150 a day you don’t get breakfast or coffee. That got expensive on top of hotel cost.

We stayed in a newly renovated room with a very interesting view of the Sphere. The location is excellent—right in the center of Las Vegas. During our stay, we tried three of the restaurants and the sports bar, and the food and overall experience were great. Most of the staff were friendly, though the front desk team seemed a bit tired and grew a little impatient when answering questions. Overall, it was a very good stay. To top it off, the Shin Lim magic show was incredible, and I highly recommend trying the Shin Lim cocktail at Mott 32!

I was shocked to find out when I checked out, that there was a $62.36/day resort fee added on to my bill.

A great place to stay and have fun in Vegas and for sure to go to the Sphere. The rooms are clean. But remember do not touch any item in the cold fridge or the snacks on counter they are all set up for weight. As explained to me by bellhop. If you move it or touch it considered you just bought it, cost me $14.00 for touching chocolate covered raisins I barely touched it, wam instant charge to room called refreshments Also dropped something on the floor under the bed I found an old water bottle from who knows when, clipped toenails and lots of paper trash. I mentioned it to housekeeping they said the vacuums don’t make it under the bed. Me as a customer had no problem squatting down grabbing the bottle they could do the same thing Other then that the place is great

The Venetian Hotel has a wide range of amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

It pains me to submit this review. The Venetian has a phenomenal reputation, hence why I brought my family and friends here for a multi-birthday celebration event as I have done previously. While Booking and customer service was wonderful, it was the following events that caused me to reconsider coming in the future. It's certainly acceptable that it may take time to check-in, but it took hours beyond the expected time. Additionally, our luggage was not inside our room even hours after checking in, which was frustrating when you have reservations for dinner and shows-and there is no communication. Futhermore, there were additional delays because we had to change rooms because of its appearance. Our original room was clearly lacking in proper cleaning and care. There were leftovers in the fridge, strange wet spots on the carpet which I stepped in with my bare feet, and the room we were expecting and paid for (including views) was not delivered. It is a beautiful space, but this experience was less than ideal. Note-there some fantastic customer service individuals, especially the woman at the Prestige Lounge that her name started with a P. I apologize I didn't write it down for further reference. She went above and beyond to assist us and we are grateful for her commitment and others commitment.

Beautiful new room. Pool area was brilliant if a little busy. Food court and coffee shops nearby in the canal areas. Pool bar prices were outrageous. Paying for parking. Very very loud air conditioning units outside on the roof of the convention centre.

We were welcomed by friendly smiles all around, at both the valet and the front desk. We were given a clean and roomy suite overlooking the Sphere and my wife and I enjoyed getting lost amongst the many shops and eateries. We especially enjoyed the easy walk through the hotel and convention center to the Sphere. This was our best experience at a Vegas hotel in years and we look forward to returning soon. Thanks!

Perfect stay

Only down side was a nighttime outdoor youth concert, adjacent to our room, that was loud & late, but it was only one night. Otherwise, great stay.

It has been my preferred place to stay when I go to Las Vegas.

Overall great stay at the Venetian. Rooms were cleaned and staff were friendly. Two downfalls I got scammed out the drink credit, bartender at the pool told me I could use it at the pool, however, at time of check out and reviewing all charges we were told pool bar wasn’t an option where u can use the drink credit and I had to pay full price. Also they do not have microwaves in room, I wish they at least had an area for guest to use.

The Venetian's proximity to the Sphere makes for the perfect stay when seeing shows.

The rooms were excellent and offered a great view. Unfortunately, the staff was not very pleasant or welcoming, which was disappointing.

I could not get the wifi to work, and was transferred a couple of times. It worked the next day on it's own. Two staff members did not figure it out.

Location is great too. 10 min walk to the Encore/ Wynn and 5min from Fashion mall. Also 10min walk to centre of Las Vegas strip & Harmon, and a Walgreens. Room layouts are great. Has a sunken living room with a big couch, 2 TVs and an unrestricted view of the sphere! Washrooms had double sinks. Only drawback is the shower water pressure was really low. Pools are great & their gym is awesome, 20/10 for a “hotel gym”… it literally has every equipment you need. I would recommend to friends & family to stay at Venetian or Palazzo

Just a god-awful attempted stay. Extraordinarily arrogant staff . The property is somewhat dated compared to the newer properties like Aria. Way too large and overcrowded. We left and had a wonderful stay at Aria. Aria was much nicer, less expensive and everything was much more convenient. Aria was also more luxurious. The food at Aria was far better with a much better ambience.

The daily room service was not as expected in a 5 star property. They forgot or choose not to change the dirty glassware, one day the used bathroom floor towel was removed without a replacement.

You can’t beat the location of The Venetian! Our room was sparkling clean, super comfortable, and felt incredibly spacious. We did have a small hiccup with our room key, but the staff handled it instantly and were so helpful. Fantastic experience overall!

It was interesting they allow people to smoke cigars on the casino floor- I didn’t notice any smokiness in the air nor could I smell it up in my room so I assume there must be strong filtration system in place- but something to keep in mind.

Super nice suite! Fun times at the casino. Nice restaurants all around property. Might have to break open the piggy bank to have a good time, but worth it! Lol

The suite was amazing. It felt luxurious. The pool was great for my kids. We had a great time! Also, it's awesome proximity if you're going to the Sphere.

This is a wonderful property. We stayed there because we were going to a concert at the sphere. The sphere is amazing. You got direct connection to the hotel. Restaurants are amazing.

Everything was really good!

Only complaint is never approached by staff to take a drink or food order by pool and watch out for in room refreshment/snack fees, especially if you have kids, as they seem to charge even if you remove to look at label and place it back.

Very clean every time I went back to my hotel! Everything was nicely put together and towels were replaced after every use. Bed was made every day very neatly.

Everything was great, the room was clean, toiletries supplied (the bath towels need to be upgraded to bath sheets) the bed was very comfortable (so much so we are going to buy the same one). The hotel itself was clean, the only downside is being able to smell the casino smoking in some of the eateries was a bit off-putting.

The hotel is getting outdated, rooms and corridors are rundown, noisy, bare minimum amenities in the room. Upholstery is bare thread in the suites.

Hotel clean and well kept .food was good but service very slow . Very crowded. Rooms are very nice . Did not receive my VIP rewards so I was disappointed in that but otherwise great .

The room,and property were remarkably clean. The property was a delight to tour. The canal, aches, domes, and ceilings with their exquisite paintings are stunning. St. Mark's Square is amazing. Enjoy the sights and sounds of this amazing property. I have celiac. I highly recommend Yardbird and Grand Lux Café for dining.

What a beautiful, comfortable venue. Everything we needed all in one spot. We were seeing a show at the sphere and never had to walk outside to make our way over into the Sphere.

Room was fabulous. Suite was perfect for our three person party. Everything was clean, fridge available, shower and tub separate, comfortable couch. It's a big property so you have to be prepared to walk. Staff was extremely helpful. Lots of restaurants and bars on-site but everything is a bit pricey. We had access to three pools and the reach had their own vibe.

I requested and prepaid for a room to view the strip. I got a view of the airport! The room was EXTREMELY LOUD!!! Between the flights and all the helicopters that were flying past my room! The front desk person, never told me how to find the elevator area that goes to my room, nor how to work the elevator with the card and keypad outside the elevator. Which would have helped to know before I got on the elevator after I finally found my right elevator! The whole experience has been annoying and frustrating. I will not be staying here again!

I heard most of Vegas is struggling but that was NOT the case at the Venetian! The place was busy and full of activity. Very impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the hotel. It was pricey but I really feel like we got our money’s worth!

The room was immaculate and the staff were welcoming and friendly. There are so many good food options and breakfast in bed via room service was amazing. The pools were well maintained and offered lots of seating as well as great food and drinks. Really no reason to leave the resort during our stay except to see a show.

Staff was horrible. I ask the front desk person for a Band-Aid and with an attitude I was told no and I have to buy one. Walked away not giving me a chance to ask questions.

Really, there is nothing negative about the Venetian other than this place is massively huge. We found ourselves just staying mostly at the hotel versus exploring the strip. lol. Overall, the Venetian was an expierence and the hotel connects to the sphere if you plan on attending that.

Valet parking and staff were very helpful. Hectic atmosphere at check-in desk was challenging. Crowd noise made it very difficult to hear check-in information.

One of the best stays I have had in a long time. Just little steep pricing at bars!

PROS- the pool was great, we rented a day bed and the service was excellent. We went to the Sphere the 2nd night via the bridge connecting hotel and Sphere. This was really convenient. The places we ate at the hotel were good. And of course the giant ice cream shake at Black Tap was worth it.

My favorite place to stay and great location. I would suggest North Tower for your stay. Staff is amazing and our room was clean clean. Everything you need is here and the shops are amazing.

Enjoyable weekend stay at the Venetian! Appreciated the variety of restaurant options within the Venetian and my very clean suite on a quiet floor.

Lots of options for good food. Eat access to the Sphere. Overall, great facility to stay.

Did pre-check in the day before and upon arrival I was able to get my key from the kiosk. The kiosk was super easy and fast. We had a great room (all are suites). Housekeeping was very helpful. Hotel is extremely large so it took us a while to figure it out. Any staff we encountered were top notch. Nice pool. Grand Lux cafe food was very good. Clean casino.

Our stay was wonderfully magical. The room was over the top with luxury and size.

The room at the Venetian was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom clean and large with 2 sinks, so necessary when there’s two of you. I the staff always smiling and ready to assist you in any way. I would return to the Venetian in a heartbeat.

Unique property with access to excellent shops, restaurants, and amenities. Quick and convenient access to Sphere and the strip. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great experience.

The resort was beautiful and very clean, the rooms and bed comfortable and the choice of restaurants and food were exceptional.

While the room was excellent, the bath shower was ridiculous. Virtually no water pressure. Impossible to properly wash and rinse. The shower head had three settings including a pulse setting. None of the settings provided sufficient water. Disappointing. Terrible. Largely unforgivable. Our next stay will be another property.

Everything was wonderful. My room overlooked the Sphere this time and I felt like I had the whole world to myself. The Sphere was absolutely amazing. Thank you for another great stay! I’ll be back. 😃

Not enough seats for the pool but was very nice. Kids and adults should be separated just because adults have beverages that are not kid friendly AT ALL. For safety, families should be separated. Just a thought.

Great rooms. But a bit far to get to them. Going up to elevators and walking along ways was not that great for my 85-year-old mother, but the hotel is awesome.

good overall. the lady in front desk when I checked in was accommodating. thanks for the view!! the only thing is when I went to the room to wash up and there’s no water in the bathroom sink. called front desk to have someone fix it, maintenance guy said they cut off water due to leaking upstairs and water will be back around 30 minutes. my only thing is they could’ve notified us to let us know. but all good after.

Fabulous Hotel! Classy and everything has it.

The staff member by the self check in kiosk coould not be bothered. She did not even offer to assist us even though she could clearly see that we were struggling to figure out how to navigate the system since it was our first time there. Asking her questions yielded very short answers.

The Venetian is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious. We had two rooms next to each other. My carpet was dirty and I felt very uncomfortable being barefoot so I wore socks our room Nextdoor I went to use the phone to call concierge to make a dinner reservation and it was filthy as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a year. I did tell The front desk about it and they were very kind. It is a little confusing walking around, trying to get places it’s a very large hotel. The art everywhere is absolutely beautiful. The architecture is beautiful, but I paid a lot of money for my room and it wasn’t worth it.

Amazing hotel

There is everything you would need. Now granted, there are long distances between multiple elevators no matter which tower, but it is a beautiful hotel and the staff is great.

The Venetian was a great hotel, easy access to what we needed and a Walgreens at the bottom which made purchasing water and other essentials for the room easy. The housekeeping was spotty-they missed cleaning our room even after we requested it and asked two different staff for a room refresh, but the rest of the staff was accomodating and friendly.

Beautiful hotel! We loved our room, spacious and perfectly appointed with everything we could possibly want. Bathroom was large and beautiful. Gold fixtures and the lights were great. Pool area, gym and restaurants were wonderful! The gym is huge and has a climbing wall. We had a great view of the massive pool area. Contactless check in with no waiting was easy and good security in lobby. Can’t wait to come back!,

We had an amazing stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and very well maintained. Our suite was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional, and always helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect right on the Strip, making it easy to explore everything Las Vegas has to offer. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The only thing this resort needs is like a Google map for the inside. We really enjoyed ourselves. Staff was great and our room was clean. Perfect location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Venetian. The room was great (although it was completely clean when we checked in - having said that, we asked a housekeeper to come back in and she took care of it). We were able to check in very early - which was really nice. The casino and public areas were very busy - but the room was quiet.

Horrible experience that delayed our checkout and impacted travel. Just as we were about to leave, the message light illuminated on our phone. No call. No knock at the door. Just a flashing light indicating a message. I navigated the process of playing the message to learn that our room had been "flagged" for smoking, and that a $500 charge had been added to our bill. Of course, we had not been smoking and it took an inordinate amount of time--about an hour--to get someone to come and confirm that nobody had been smoking in our room. Ended up having to stand in line at the front desk to check out and ensure the charge had been removed. I suggested our $20 fee for parking should also be removed for our troubles. Nope. Will never stay here again.

The rooms are fine checking in was bad kiosk broken gave me a bad key could not get in my room. The food was bad everywhere I tried to eat. Checking out they overcharged me had to fix that mess. The new owners screwed this place up. B don’t agree with $40 parking for hotel guests

Great place to stay! We stayed in a king suite. It was immaculate!!! Stocked with any thing we might have needed. We had 2 events we were attending at The Sphere. It was nice to just walk to the event and not get a taxi. Lots of dining places available that were very good. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful room, view was not what we expected as it was mostly roof but a little bit of the sphere and we were disappointed that we had to pay a resort fee even though they shut down the hotel entrance from the sphere venue after the concert and the main reason why we had stayed at the hotel. Food and service was great on site.

Check in was at 3pm and the room was not ready till about 830pm

The rooms are exceptional! (For the price, they should be!) Very quiet, comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. A/C works great, bathroom and shower are both large. Bed is super comfy. Has a separate fridge from the one loaded with drinks, so you can “bring your own drinks,” if needed. Had a few snacks on top of the bureau. Has 2 TV’s, a desk, and an in-room safe. On the down-side: the shower is a bit slick, and there are no bars inside, nor is there a bath mat. Seems a bit dangerous for older ones.

Love this hotel. They placed everything very convenient from the tables to the cashier. The games to the rooms and to the strip. The cafe lux restaurant is amazing. You can hop on a boat and go shopping. Love seeing shows at the sphere to.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the smell of cigarette smoke was minimal. The staff was friendly and attentive. The Venetian did not make it easy to use the Expedia room and casino credit.

Kleenex in room wasn’t new. Had 5 tissues and I had a cold and needed Kleenex. The body lotion in bathroom wasn’t new left over from previous guest gross and practically empty. Otherwise everything was fine. The room was besutiful

Everything was outstanding , only issue we had was check in was supposed to be 3pm we arrived at 7:30! Am and stored luggage , we let them know early and we didn’t get in the room till 4pm . Our trip was scheduled a month in advance. We were staying in the kings suite with a view . Other than that I would have gave 5 stars . I want to reiterate that all staff members and all employees were exemplary! We stayed in 35112 .

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this historic, luxurious hotel. You can enjoy yourself just within the hotel itself, or you can walk outside and enjoy sightseeing. Unfortunately, due to the casino, you'll be bothered by the smell of tobacco and marijuana.

Our suite on the 32nd floor was the nicest room I’ve experienced in Vegas and one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed in anywhere. The Veneitian has endless food, drink, and shopping options, and is very conveniently located.
