Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its quiet and luxurious atmosphere, with a prime location on the Las Vegas strip. The staff is frequently commended for their kindness and professionalism. However, there are several complaints about the ongoing construction, lack of dining options, and issues with room cleanliness and maintenance.

Great location, clean rooms one draw back is you have to go to the 3rd floor and through the breakfast area to access elevators to your room
- 2.5/5
the hotel lobby, but I could not sleep there. The room requested was not available at the time of arrival, the second room offered to us has a terrible stained smell, the third room did also smell, and that is because (mostly I think) the carpets are old, the cleaning products are so very strong and of lower quality. The rooms interconnecting doors are a pain and the hotel should clear them up.The food smell all over the hotel is really bad, the restaurant at level 3 sting, there are obviously technical issues within the hotel that need closure and re done. We felt that the value of the hotel is extremely high for what is offered to customers. Very disappointing indeed.

Great location, but still very quiet and private. Pool is a genuinely relaxing spot - probably the best part of the hotel tbh in terms of facilities. Rooms are big. Housekeeping was random. Some room noise and food smells but otherwise pretty good. Not exactly ultra 5-star as it claims to be, but a solid non-themed, non casino hotel choice on the strip.

The pool area was wonderful and relaxing, and the drinks were just what we needed while enjoying the atmosphere. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Close to the mall and walkable to nice resorts

Location and no casino Very low level service, the water flow in the shower doesn't even allow you to shave, a hotel that is supposed to be the most luxurious but is actually a two-star hotel

Asked for a late check out and was denied. Paid $550 for one night and couldn’t get the courtesy of a late check out.

My favorite hotel I've stayed at in Vegas so far. Felt like a true oasis, and the spa was fantastic.

The name Waldorf Astoria is synonymous with providing excellent service. During my stay they did not disappoint. Staff was incredible, the room was excellent and the location of the hotel was ideal. I will definitely be back! Thank you Las Vegas team!

Always a great choice to stay in any WA.

Pretty decent but next door couple fighting each other was really annoying. Glad the staff helped us and change our room.
- 3/5
I didn’t like the check in staff
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and the food was excellent but having to get out of one elevator to get into another is super annoying. The property is quiet. Everything in the room was well maintained and worked minus the tv in the mirror but that may of been left over from the previous hotel. The room service was okay. They often forgot one item or didn’t bring it for a very very long time. The spa staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Over all I enjoyed my stay but the price was a bit much for what you get.
- 5/5
Great upscale, private, quiet and calming hotel on the strip. No casino, partiers, etc. Close to many things, but far enough away from the hustle & bustle. Great sleeping at night and awesome room service!

It is off the strip but a 3-4 minute walk to the strip. Quiet and secluded. I lived our room. It’s an elegant property. The front desk staff and valets were amazing. We will definitely stay again. There was nothing I didn’t like. I wished I could have used the facilities more but we couldn’t.

I cannot believe I never did a review for this from when me and my now husband eloped in Vegas and stayed at the Waldorf Astoria! Better late than never I guess! We actually stayed the week of July 19, 2023 and unfortunately they were undergoing renovations so that was an little inconvenient because whenever we left our room, we couldn’t just take the elevator right down and out. We had to take 1 elevator down and then walk all the way through the hotel to get to the exit. LOTS of walking through the hotel. Other than that, our stay was absolutely amazing! The hotel is GORGEOUS, our room was GORGEOUS!! The bathroom was so cool, all of the shampoo, conditioner, bath salts and all that was top of line quality ans smelled amazing! I took several baths that week and practically used up all the bath salts, everything was so nice! They knew we had come to Vegas to elope and the hotel sent us this beautiful gift of a bottle of wine and a beautiful wine bottle of extravagant bath salts and dried flowers in it and some other goodies and it was just so sweet of them. I really appreciated that so much. Great hotel and staff! A++++++++++++ They had this little restaurant in the hotel where we would get these amazing berry flaky triangle things I cannot for my life think of what they are called LOL but everything from start to finish was amazing at the Waldorf Astoria except for the renovations but I if we ever go back to Vegas, we will definitely stay at the Waldorf!

At arrival, no body helped us with our bags, but honestly not a big deal. At check in we upgraded to a panoramic one bedroom suite with cash. Reviewing the hotel’s website one can see this is quite a premium room for the hotel, so we were excited that they had paid upgrade availability. Overall, the suite was just fine. It has clearly seen better days and there were scratches and little issues here and there but nothing too terrible. Would definitely upgrade to the room itself, but little did we know the actual issues that came with this specific unit. After leaving the room to the pool and returning an hour and half later, we were stunned that the door latch that opens from the inside had opened by itself and locked us out. Our key card worked, but the dorm jam was preventing us from coming in. Keep in mind it’s not possible for us to leave it like this since we wouldn’t have been able to open the door and leave the room. We tried to use the hotel telephone by

This place is amazing! It’s new and the room was very comfortable and modern. I also enjoyed that it doesn’t have a casino so it was very calming to return to the hotel after going out. All the employees we interacted with were very kind and nice to us.

This is the old Las Vegas Mandarin Oriental that Hilton bought and transformed into a Waldorf. While I'm not sure why they changed so much of the hotel's layout, it is still quiet luxury with excellent service in a non-gaming hotel on the Strip. Hilton turned this old 5 star Mandarin Oriental upside down, not always successfully. The Mandarin's 23 Floor Sky Lobby was truly spectacular but now they've turned the first floor into the Waldorf Astoria lobby. Boring. You now have to change elevators on the 3rd floor where the cafe is, following cheap looking signs, to get to your room. It all feels like they knew they "had to do something to make it different" but now it just feels like an impersonal 5 star money making machine. Go here, go there, but with no real function or style. The 23rd floor is now home to several bars and restaurants that aren't always open. The restaurant Twist is gone, and is now an empty event space. They kept some of the spectacular Asian design from the Mandarin Oriental (thank goodness), and have integrated their more conservative Waldorf Astoria brand style with okay results. That said, the best parts of this hotel are the leftovers from the Mandarin Oriental that truly spent an incredible amount of money on top design, function and style.
- 5/5
Convenient, and really enjoyed that there wasn’t a casino in the lobby. As much as I love casinos it was nice to step away from it. The cafe charging 15 dollars for an iced latte. That being said, it was a very good drink.
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice and no hassle. Extremely private and best part you didn’t have to go through a casino
- 4/5
Not fully open. Pool bar closed. No lobby or cocktail bar open during the afternoon.

- 5/5
One of the most important things for our travel is to be able to relax. Here there are not any slots machines and overcrowded restaurants. The house keeping staff, door greeters, and overall staff were knowledgeable of the surroundings, and property. Our room was cleaned daily and our two housekeepers went the extra mile to add special touches on the room each day! Amazing views and quiet building made this the best choice for me and my wife.

When I arrived, they told me that the room I booked was no longer available and that there was nothing they could do. They gave me a different room, which I didn’t need at all. Before leaving the deposit, I specifically asked the receptionist, “Are you giving me the same room type I booked?” She said yes. I said okay, and I swiped my card to leave the deposit. Then I went upstairs, and to my disappointment, I realized she had lied to me. I went back down and said, “Do I look like an idiot to you?” She sarcastically replied that there was nothing else she could offer and even laughed about the situation. To make things worse, I was holding my five-month-old baby in my arms. By that time, it was already 1 a.m., and I had no other options — I was exhausted from traveling all day, and my wife and baby were tired too. I had no choice but to stay for the night. Thanks for ruined my first night in Vegas
- 2/5
Didn’t give early check in or late check out despite agreeing to it prior. Room was not ready. Dual elevators system is confusing for some. But bar was staffed with one bartender for entire restaurant.
- 5/5
I had an excellent time during my stay at the Waldorf. The hotel is stunning, elegant, calm, and perfectly located right in the heart of the Strip. The location couldn’t be better — everything is walkable, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants, shows, and attractions. I especially loved the crystal shops and luxury boutiques nearby, it's a must-visit if you enjoy high-end shopping and beautiful design. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere relaxing, and every detail felt refined and thoughtfully done. I can’t wait to come back. It was truly a top-tier Vegas experience! ✨

The room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable. The convenience where the property is located Is the Best. Right on the strip where everything is, Its just a walk right out the door, and its private at the same time. I love it Right up my alley !!!! Nothing :)

I enjoyed the ambiance and relaxing quality of the hotel.

This hotel has a great pool and spa.
- 5/5
Service is super

The location is perfect. You have three Starbucks locations to choose from, all are almost all equally distanced from eachother, a CVS next door, and a ‘Whataburger’ infront of the bldg. Outside of the obvious, yes, the hotel is for those who appreciate luxury. Great property.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed at most resorts in Las Vegas and I loved our stay at the Waldorf. We came for a mom getaway and they had a card, sign and chocolates waiting in our room and the best most luxurious robes and huge bath tubs! Also very walkable and easy uber pickup site! Next to a CVS as well!

Corner panoramic view was unbeatable. Room furniture showed a lot of wear and tv console didn’t cover a large hole in the floor.
- 4/5
Although the room was excellent, there were a couple of things that were not so great. The bath plug did not work so the water consistently was draining. The furniture was a little dated and wasn’t that inviting to sit on , not comfy and there was this huge machine in one of the bar cupboards that I no cue what it was. Chips in the marble flooring too.

- 5/5
Beautiful and comfortable. Service was impeccable.

can you please confirm amount i was charged because i think they double charged me at checkout today please advise thank you
- 4/5
All in all it’s a nice place, but I don’t think I’ll be back. The room felt a bit out of date. The only option to park is valet at $45/day which is not optimal. There is no indoor walkway to the Aria or Park MGM even though they are right next door.
- 5/5
First time here in Vegas, and it's great. I will stay here again.
- 1/5
Not as expected
- 4/5
Only reason for 4 stars is that my room was not ready in time for 4pm and I had reservations for dinner at 5pm. I wanted to go shower and get dressed so I was a bit anxious. I did get the key at 4:10 which doesn’t sound like a big deal but it takes at least 5 minutes to ride elevator up to room and then shower and dress we made out reservations with 2 minutes to spare. But overall great staff Matthew was awesome as well as the ladies at front desk. Housekeeping was great too. Very clean and beautiful place to stay. It’s in the heart of the strip so it was perfect for walking and getting around.
- 5/5
Very beautiful spa and massage was nice would love to go back.
- 5/5
This place hit all the points: friendly and helpful staff, beautifully appointed, comfortable bed, amazing room with strip view, incredible bathroom. Only negative I would give is that at night you hear cars racing down the LV strip.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel with great staff. A quieter escape but close to everyrhing.
- 5/5
Terrific stay at the Waldorf. Just a fabulous hotel experience in every way. Will DEFINITELY stay again.

This property is very elegant, quiet and polite service.

Very luxurious and clean hotel
- 5/5
Amazing stay!
- 5/5
Great location
- 2/5
I paid for a strip view room and we were put on the tenth floor looking at the roof of the shopping center across the way. Coffee did not work and there was no business center as advertised. Front desk half the time seem bothered by the question's I have now been going to Las Vegas for forty years and out of all the places we stayed this one is not worth the money. The good is that it is clean and quite.
- 2/5
staff tried to tell me the only possible way to check in early is if I upgraded my room, even though I overheard the same room was I booked was available to a guest in front of me. I understand that they dont take expedia status seriously its fine but dont try to upcharge me just to check early even though the room is available and ready for checkin.
- 3/5
There was no designated porter service. Maid did not come to clean room. Room decor was mediocre and did not meet expectations.
- 5/5
Felt at home with most anything within reach. Bed was a tad hard for my preference but other than that a great place.
- 5/5
Top notch place
- 5/5
Had an amazing stay!!
- 5/5
Fabulous, spotless and quiet. Well worth the price.
- 4/5
Great rooms and very quiet and restful. Elevators are problematic; two different t elevators needed to get to guest rooms.
- 4/5
Noisy not very sound proof. Overpriced by ALLOT. But most of the strip area is not just good profit margin, it’s legal criminality of theft off the chat and then some!
- 3/5
Staff not friendly. No smiling, no explaining of facilities until asked. Don’t mention gym, spa or anything else as if they are doing you favour by allowing you to stay at the hotel!!
- 5/5
Everything about this property was great!
- 5/5
Everything was excellent.
- 5/5
We had a great stay here.
- 5/5
They gave us a wonderful upgrade to a gorgeous suite!
- 5/5
The staff was great and our room was fantastic. This is on the strip but perfectly situated as a non smoking and no casino hotel. It did not feel like other resorts but it was better! Kayla at the front desk from the beginning was great and overall our whole experience was phenomenal.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
The in-room media lacked streaming capabilities. The furnishings need to be updated. Guests have to call and wait for ice which can be inconvenient. The best part of our stay was the hotel was quiet and thankfully no casino to walk through.
- 5/5
Modern spacious room, beautiful heated pool, nice and well equipped qym.
- 5/5
Great hotel room elevators are a little confusing, they didnt offer early check in - other than that a great high class hotel

Hotel bar on 23rd floor is under construction and is small and cramped. Room furniture is old, damaged and room overall needs a renovation. Hotel staff were amazing and are the best part of the hotel.
- 5/5
The property was excellent accept for the inconvenience to change elevators to get to rooms.
- 5/5
Everything about our stay was perfect! Thank you!

Beautiful hotel right next to Aria and the Crystal shops. We enjoyed our stay here and even got a chance to have tea in their beautiful tea lounge. If you’re looking for a quieter hotel to relax and sleep but still want to be on the strip… this place is an amazing option! The staff is super friendly and helpful as well.

Will always stay at this hotel when visiting Las Vegas
- 5/5
You get what you pay for! Everything at the Waldorf LV was exceptional. An oasis in the middle of Vegas.
- 3/5
The suite had a leak in the bathroom sink that wasn't addressed until after the second notification at the front desk. Further, their was no ofder of switching suites until the day of checkout.
- 5/5
Superb staff who are the perfect example of what courtesy and professionalism should be.
- 5/5
Our stay was good
- 5/5
Very clean and convenient
- 1/5
They also charged us for a late checkout, only 2 hours which never in my life has this happened. Our concierge also tried to charge us for the complimentary car service and when we discovered it wasn't complimentary and in fact 3x the price of an Uber Black SUV, we politely declined and they responded back with a very passive aggressive text saying “the driver was waiting for you. He lost a client because of you.” Which is rude and in fact impossible because the whole conversation interaction lasted 45 min. I asked for the price for the cabana and they quoted me 450, and our friend guests 250, 15 min later. Why was that? Highly disappointed. Won’t be returning.
- 3/5
Not infant friendly, I brought baby food and need to microwave, the restaurant refused to heat the food for me and ask me go back to my room a make a call to room service by myself. The tea lounge didn’t provide us high chair I wrote it in reservation note. Also in the swimming pool section, there’s no people using and outdoor sofa, only three groups of hotel guests were there and we have a 10 months infant, it’s more safety we put him on sofa, the staff told us to leave, said it’s for massage rental. Before we checked in, I asked front desk if they put the crib inside the room I wrote on request, she confirm with me, but there was nothing inside the room, we need to made another call for room service .
- 5/5
We had an amazing time. Staff was incredible, friendly and went over and beyond each time to ensure that we were comfortable.
- 5/5
Amazing!
- 5/5
Best hotel I have stayed at in a long time
- 5/5
Nice secluded, quiet hotel, but right off the strip and close walking distance to many other shops and properties. Very clean, quiet and upscale compared to the other casino hotels nearby.
