I stayed for one night as I was traveling across town and from the reviews I thought this would be a clean hotel. We arrived and the smell in the room was horrible, the bathroom was falling apart mold all over the floor boards, there was still hair left over from previous stayers. But the room was so musty, it was super uncomfortable to sleep.

Nothing Very dirty, no one at front desk, trash in parking lot, broken down cars, cars on lifts, walked in room. Looked like floor needed a good scrub with a putty knife. Loaded my vehicle & took off. I would like a refund!

Entire property smells like a sewage plant. Inside & out but the smell hits you soon as you walk out the door. Burned incense my entire stay. Needs a good power washing/cleaning the walls & hallways. & stop leaving bags of trash in the walkways.

When we arrived there was a police car in the driveway with a police dog. I understand not the fault of the hotel but... not a welcome sight. They said we would be greeted at the desk sorry there was someone there but that was not a greeting we received. The room was sparce with no table to write on. The sink had a broken water valve so we could not get hot water that was room 113. We notified front desk but he never wrote that down so who knows if next person will have same problem. We never received a receipt he said we would received it later but WHEN??? 3 days later I haven't seen it. I am not happy with Red Roof Inn and the way customers are dealt with.

The room was very clean. It looked just like the pictures on the Booking.com website. The strong smell of marijuana, I know that is something the hotel has no control over.

King room had plenty of desk space and two comfortable chairs. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Plenty of housekeeping staff who are polite and willing to help out if asked. All provided toiletries in the form of liquid soap dispensers (no body lotion provided). The phone did not successfully connect to the front desk. There is some audible road noise. Dated Refrigerator that works but needs repair; small but efficient microwave.

RedRoof has lost its touch. Been a member since 2017 to now. Front Desk staff is courteous. A strong stench of Marijuana hits you once you hit the elevators and escorts you to your room. Not everybody smokes or likes Marijuana. I felt nauseous half of the stay from the marijuana stench. I also advice you use the hotspot on your phone for your laptop or iPad - just to be safe

They were clean and nice

The hardwood floors in the room were very dirty and the pillows were terrible (seriously, bring your own if you can). The bed was decent but shook when you moved. For four people and a dog for just one night, the room was spacious enough. If we were staying longer than one night, it would have been tight. The blackout curtains worked well and we didn't hear any other guests while we were there. On a separate note, my party of four was very confused when we checked in to our reservation for four in a room that sleeps four and there were only two sets of towels. This was just a stopover to sleep so we didn't use the shower other than to wash our feet from the dirty floor. We also only received one room key.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly. They will not service your room daily unless you request it. Also, they only give two towels, 2 wash cloths, and 1 bar of soap regardless if you have more than 2 people staying in your room.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent, id like to go back there anytime soon.
- 2/5
Convenient

After a long day at Six Flags, we decide to book a room here my family and I was going to take a shower after I had to hand clean the tub cleaning somebody’s long black hair and pubic hair when we were about to grab a shower we looked up and seen that there was black mold on the ceiling, I think at this point if people have to clean the rooms people should get a partial refund. I can even overhear the conversation on the telephone that the reception made asking what rooms were actually clean. It took about 20 minutes just to even check in just to have a room that wasn’t even clean.
- 5/5
Like about the peoples working here
- 2/5
If you like finding a cockroach crawling on the bathroom wall, this is the place to stay. It was only one cockroach. The property is obviously dated. They've done some remodeling, but it still shows it's age. I was dismayed that when I notified the front desk the person acted like it was no big deal. In a hotel, I feel that they should do more about pest control. I also know that where there is one, there are usually more.
- 4/5
Would stay again if traveling on a budget.
- 3/5
Wasn't provided fresh towels every day had to ask for it

The room was uncomfortable and the beds were rock hard. It was loud as hell and people were walking around outside making noise and smoking marijuana. We didn’t sleep at all. We canceled the rest of our stay there and left.
- 4/5
Nice friendly staff. Room was clean. No breakfast which sucked.
- 5/5
I’m still here with my fur babies staying for another day or two
- 3/5
Customer service is always terrible here. No hospitality. Everything is an inconvenience for the staff, but nothing is as advertised. Hair all over everything...bed, towels, washcloths, toilet, shower...disgusting.

It was really nice

We were driving from Florida to Massachusetts. We stopped here Friday night. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. We have two dogs. The place is dog friendly and easy to get them outside. Everyone was very pleasant and polite. It’s very inexpensive even with the dogs. Not fancy at all, a good place for a night/ two. Easy on off I95. Thanks
- 4/5
The property is our inexpensive go-to when traveling to the DMV. Pet friendly and easy access to freeways. Check-in process is generally easy - have ID and credit card ready plus know your license plate details as it’s required. Dont come too late or you won’t be able to use the cart to bring in your luggage if it’s needed. Lastly, the bottom step (back stairs) is LOOSE so be careful and this last visit; there were bees nest by the top stairs (back set of stairs).

Our room was newly renovated. New flooring was great because it wasn't carpet. - However, the floor felt and sounded like it had something gritty all over it like perhaps it had not been cleaned. - More than 2 bath towels would always be appreciated. - Parking lot could be cleaned up - looked like people just threw stuff out of their vehicle there and left it. - including multiple seats from an SUV.

To many people sitting in cars. Clean for the price ...but to much traffic
- 2/5
I did not like the check-in experience. Clerk was hard to see in his booth and hard to understand. Elevator was not working. My room was 2 flights up, had to take the stairs after a long day.
- 5/5
The desk people were very nice. Hotel room was clean. We got a good night rest.
- 5/5
Ive stayed here in the past and it was ok. Rooms have been renovated! And they look good. And theres an elevator!!!
- 5/5
The customer service is very good
- 2/5
Truly inside was okay for the price but the area is not safe as obvious with the security of the employees when first entering. These owners did okay by the rooms but just like you can’t put a castle in the hood, this motel is best to succumb to the area and house the homeless. Sad truth.
- 5/5
Awsome
- 3/5
Waited for 30 minutes outside before the night duty staff came down from his room to attend to me
- 4/5
The AC unit is outdated, the landscaping and painting of the property needs to be updated, but overall it was a good stay.
- 2/5
Ants, bugs and spiders in the room. Entire area smells extremely bad
- 1/5
Worst place to stay i would stay , i choose to stay in this place as an emergency stay for the night. Smelly room . Worst of all they don’t care about customers privacy . A housekeeper walked inside the room without knocking and announcing. Check out time was 11am . 10:30am housekeeper walks in . Not recommended for anyone.

A nice place

The rooms was dirty, smell and the pillows was stinks and nasty. That was a terrible night, we could'nt even sleep, we asked to change the room because of the smell the gentleman said no. This hotel need to close for cleaning because everything is dirty.

My main dislike of this Red Roof Inn is that I was charged $30.00 because I arrived before the 2pm check-in. I paid it because we traveled from New York with small children and they had to use the bathroom. There was nothing to like about this Inn and I will never stay at any Red Roof Inn again.

People were knocking my door the entire night,

Otherwise, this fell into my top three WORST hotel experiences. The room was dirty with stains on the wall, permanent stains on the sheets, very noticeable paint peeling from the light fixture, and the room smelled terrible (like an old gym and cigarette smoke). Not to mention my television didn't work so i have no entertainment at all during my stay. Apparently whoever had the room before me damaged it. So when i turned it on, i saw where something hit the tv and cracked the internal screen. I reported this to the manager and was given no accommodations...Only a $22 refund upon me checking out. This definitely not a pleasant experience for me.
- 2/5
Not worth the price
- 2/5
The floors were weird linoleum that looked and felt a little dirty. Slightly sticky. There was a leather chair that was so old that the leather was flaking away at all edges. Covering this with a sheet reduced the smoke smell. The beds were great. There was a dead hornet when we first walked in, and when we came back later my daughter accidentally stepped on a living hornet. The toilet is in a bathroom behind a door and the only sink is just outside it, so you have to either leave the door ajar or turn the knob after using the toilet before washing your hands (though I suppose you could use the tub...). The only reason I gave this two stars is that it was cheap: $70 a night. But I would have spent more if I'd known what it was going to be like.
- 3/5
Staff distant and unapproachable
- 2/5
You get what you pay. Property is not clean. They don’t clean the room and change the laundry daily. So not happy with overall experience.
- 1/5
Bed bugs and couldn’t have been less apologetic about it. I’d say you get what you pay for, but no professional accommodation company should have insects. And for some reason, hotels.com had me revise this post before allowing it to be submitted.
