Great breakfast!! Lovely stay.

We stayed at the Garden Haus and it was lovely. Beautiful backyard (enclosed) hot tub and landscaping was amazing. Had an outdoor grill as well. Kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. Definitely will stay again.

My dog and I had a great first-time stay. The inn is in an excellent location, has pleasant staff, and is very dog-friendly. The quality and assortment of the breakfast food wasn't great but there were some options and it was convenient. Check-in and check-out were both quick and the onsite parking was great to have. Will definitely stay here again; it's our new preferred spot over other hotels we've stayed in Leavenworth.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Obertal Dream Suit. Will definitely be back! Everything was absolutely perfect!

1 and only 2 problem, stairs. I hate stairs. Except for that it is a pleasant place to stay. Dog friendly a huge plus. I will return even with stairs.

The staff were very friendly and helpful in providing us details of the area. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and they had a lot if different varieties for breakfast.

Easy check in, parking right onsite and room was clean and quiet. I don’t eat breakfast, but appreciated the coffee maker in room.

The room was clean. The A/C did not work well and was needed. The shower had a bad leak where the line that joins to the hand held shower head. Breakfast was better than most and had a good variety to choose from.

First time in Leavenworth and was lucky to find Obertal Inn. The staff was excellent, breakfast was delicious and location is close to everything fun in town.

The inn was very nice, clean, well located in Leavenworth. My main issues were with the specific room that I was in--I did not realize at the time that it was located in a corner, under a staircase, right next door to the laundry room. A lot of traffic going right next to my room, not a real mountain view.

I will repeat my visit next year

Wow their suite 5B is absolutely stunning! It is like extra large king bedroom and queen bedroom. Each bedroom came with its own bathroom - a huge plus! The kitchen and common space are so large with high ceilings. Plenty of window light everywhere. We love the balcony view facing the river so much we did cozy breakfast and so many photos there. We also love the fact that the bedroom windows are facing the Leavenworth square so we can see the sparkling winter lights right from our windows. What a fairytale! Also their homemade strudel is so fresh and yummy! The only one tiny complaint is noise insulation - we could hear other units doors slamming at night, noise is not as insulated as we thought, good thing they stopped after midnight. Maybe signs “close doors gently” everywhere would help reduce overall door noise?

The location is the biggest thing Obertal has going for it. It is perfectly located within walking distance to all of downtown. The rooms are clean with basic amenities, nothing fancy, and the beds comfortable enough. My son liked the complimentary waffle breakfast. My biggest challenge was parking in the center courtyard. There is barely enough room to maneuver into and out of your parking spot. All things considered, this hotel is recommended for its location and cleanliness, not its glamour.

We had a great stay! Prime location to the cute little town, walkable, and was very quiet. The staff was very helpful and did whatever was needed to ensure we had a good stay. The daily breakfast was a nice addition to the stay, as you can choose from several options each day and you are given a tray to take back to your room. They supply dinning trays in each room that make eating in the room easy! The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the views from the rooms are breathtaking! Would stay again!

Everything was perfect. I’d stay again!

At $500 per night, the value just isn’t there. We booked three non-refundable nights and chose to leave a day early. I would rather drive to Leavenworth than pay this rate again. The beds were acceptable, but the water never got truly hot. Breakfast was identical each morning and required ordering the night before, picking it up yourself, and eating in your room since there’s no dining space. While I appreciate the friendly staff and great location, this hotel is significantly overpriced for the amenities and comfort provided.

It to the room and the maid service had not taken the garbage out. The condo has a full kitchen and the whole condo reeked of old garbage. The guy at the front desk did come right away and take care of it . That was a relief.

This was an amazing trip! The room was clean and the staff were extremely accommodating. This was also the perfect location for being close to everything. Breakfast was an added bonus and they do a great job getting it ready for you in the morning with a lot of tasty options. Excellent, wonderful staff

I didn't care for the options for breakfast; seamed to be more for veggie eating people, not my taste. Never ate. The cable (sp) TV less than desirable. more like cheap free tv, poor channels, no sports channels available; my stay was over Sunday (NFL) and ALCS playoff. had to watch on my cellphone. No casting availability on my TV. An Inconvenience yes, but not the reason I was in Leavenworth. The room was comfortable, quiet, and walking distance to most everything we wished to do. I would stay there again and recommend others to stay, but warn about the cable issue.

Everything was fine except for the Internet connection. We tried watching a movie, but it kept on hanging and then we’d have to restart and this happened for at least an hour so it took us at least three hours to watch a two hour movie. You should increase the bandwidth on your Internet service.

Great place at the heart of Leavenworth. Easy walking distance to downtown, restaurants, wineries, breweries, etc. Breakfast is great. You'll need to have the Apple Strudel, is delicious!

When I climb the steps directly to 208, what I see through the steps is some kind of gross cleaning station for the service personnel. This needs to be cleaned up. Also, I was 'attacked' by flying tv trays coming out of the closet at a high rate of speed when slightly disturbed. I sustained a minor injury and reported this to the office.

The property was very clean, provided an excellent home away from home, and the location was outstanding.

Only Downside was the only rooms of this type are on n the third floor with no elevators. If you are fit enough i would highly recommend.

Nice place. I was a little concerned when I saw earplugs on the nightstand, but it was quiet (at least first night was). Comfortable beds, nice idea on take away breakfast and it was tasty.

The hot tub was really nice and useful especially after our long hike. Breakfast was delicious too and made fresh for pick-up in the morning. That was a lovely addition. We'll definitely stay at Obertal Inn for future visits!

This is a wonderful hotel right in the heart of the action! The staff were great, the breakfast was very good, and the hotel was clean and well kept. The patio is a nice feature if you are vacationing with friends or family.

Leavenworth is an incredible town and the history is wonderful. We enjoyed the history museum, the people we met and especially the Orbetal Inn

This was a great property. Beautiful views with a lovely balcony to enjoy them. This condo is a great place to stay. Everything is within walking distance, shops, restaurants, entertainment. The beds were comfortable. The apple strudel and dipping sauce is amazing I highly recommend the option to have it delivered to your room prior to arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious, the staff very kind, and the location just cannot be beat. There was a great outdoor lounge area where we enjoyed our breakfast. It was also very convenient that there is an electric car charger on site.

This was the first time staying at the hotel for us. And I was pleasantly surprised! A bit cheaper than some of the flashier hotels in downtown, but super comfortable, clean grounds, easy parking, and friendly staff. Plus, it’s right in downtown and walkable to all the shops and restaurants! You don’t have to cross the busy highway 2 to get to downtown!

Ideal location , easy walk into restaurants. Outside seating for breakfast among the flowers , felt like Austria. To have the balcony in our room with patio door , made our stay more comfortable.

We stayed at the condos in a two bedroom and it was beautiful! Very clean, lots of room and the views were beautiful. Would for sure stay again! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and didnt feel cramped at all. Wish we would of had more time there!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom condo's. They were amazing and loved the street access to the main drag in town. Super clean and an amazing view - there was an elevator in the building which was great for my elderly Parents.

The strudel was amazing, we had 5 people, glad we got the full strudel. Im sure half would have worked but it was so good!

Willy at the front desk was so kind and offered such a personal touch. Very human and warm welcome and excellent conversation.

Loved that it was in center of town making it walkable everywhere. Parking was free and close in a congested area.

The Yukon room was great. The view of the river is breathtaking. We loved sitting in front of the fireplace. Convenient kitchenette. Bed was soft but comfortable. Multiple pillow options. Loved the window seat reading nook. It’s too far to walk to town if that’s important.

The bed was comfortable and quiet, no squeaking if you know what I mean. Room was simple, its a place to sleep when you are not out and about. That's all I wanted. if you are looking for spa pampered service, you are in the wrong spot. I liked the simplicity of this location and appreciated I did not have to pay excessively for services I don't use. I noticed there were earplugs in the room. They must get a lot of complaints of sounds. It seems to me they did everything they could to reduce the sound. People above like to stop about like kids but it usually stopped around 11PM. people are inconsiderate, and the Hotel can only do so much for that. I didn't think it was unreasonable. in the evening, the hotel was lit up for the holidays. It looked nice and pretty, great theme. Mornings, they offer a breakfast. Honestly I'm not a fan of what they offered, but it was included. You have to go to office and pick it up, take it back to your room. I guess it started during COVID and just was kept as habit. not really a place to eat in lobby anyway. Overall, I enjoyed the trip and would go back again if given the choice. We are considering a summer trip. If I have friends that go visit the town, I'll recommend this place as a good place to sleep, no glamorous pampering though.

We have stayed here many times and would recommend. The rooms, beds, are clean, and comfortable.Its not high end place to stay...but is quiet, safe, great staff, and the location is a block from main street.

I loved everything about our stay with the exception of the parking for THD was very tight and hard to get into.

The hotel has been updated not long ago and is very clean. There is no place to eat breakfast other than bringing your food back to your room, which is why they have tv dinner tables inside each room. The noise is easily heard from cars or people coming in and out of the hotel. Check in and customer service was great. Location and decorations made the hotel be part of the whole town Bavarian theme.

Very secluded, seems like it used to be a house that was converted. Definitely more of an air B&B vibe. Each room has its own lock system but no staff on site. Nice room, but our fireplace didn’t work which was a huge bummer. Jetted tub was amazing but there was not enough hot water to fill it properly.

View was amazing! Private, and comfortable. We had the Rio Grande suite on the river and the only complaint was the water pressure, but definitely not a deal breaker, just something to note. Excellent stay and would go back for sure!

The best experience ever! LOVED the room!

I was very impressed by the little things with this hotel, such as TV trays provided in the hotel room. We had actually brought a small collapsible table from home and ended up not needing it. The staff was incredibly friendly and our room was very clean. We will absolutely stay here again!

It was right in the middle of all the shopping and dining in Leavenworth. We stayed in the Dream suites and the parking was a little difficult due to snow and ice. It was also quite a climb to our room. The main part of the prperty would be much nicer. We did like the room.

We loved that the condo was festive, decorated with a Christmas tree. Beautiful views and great access to the streets for dinning and shopping.

We booked 8 months in advance for a room during Christmas festival. All of our prior experiences here had been great. We spent 1200$ for a room with one bed. When I complained, saying we had been very clear about having 4 people, I was told that they were not responsible for how the room was represented. Despite confirming the week ahead all of our details and adding in a ‘homemade streusel’ to be waiting in our room, our room was in appropriate for the number of guests and the preordered streudel never arrived. Despite many years of staying here happily, new ownership has ensured we will never return.
