We liked the view of the river. My husband has a hard time with stairs, no elevator

Location was great, view was amazing and bed and pillows were comfortable. The water was blue and tasted funny.. My wife ran some bath water and it was blue. It explained the blue stains in the bathtub and sink and toilet. Could really use some updating

An older building well built, our neighbors were unheard! We kept our windows open to hear the delightful river next to us. Not fancy but clean and comfortable with a deck over the river view. Warm comfortable duvet on the beds! The stairs to the second floor are spaced higher than typical.

There is no denying it, this is an old hotel. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The bed was just right - not too hard not too soft, and we slept super well. Room had a fridge, microwave, and single cup coffee maker. There was also a fireplace, but as it was summer we did not try it. It is on a major road, so some noise from that, but really not too bad. First night we ran the A/C all night and the white noise from that drowned out vehicles. Second night we didn't bother and still slept great. There is plenty of free parking and free wifi worked well too. As others have noted, the shower water pressure is low but to me it was more important that shower and towels were clean. Best thing about the hotel is its location on the river. The sound of the water was delightful. We packed picnic dinners for both nights and enjoyed them at our table on the deck. It is a shared deck which meant we chatted with the people staying in the room next to us. Nice. Our room was on the second floor, which meant stairs and they were old stairs but totally fine for us. This hotel is great value since it is only a few minutes drive from Leavenworth and a fraction of the cost of a hotel there. If you don't want to drive, you can also take a bus for free. It has a stop at the hotel drive when going to Leavenworth and not far away when coming back. Office said they had coffee and "breakfast" available. In our room we had been provided with 3 sachets for coffee. We used two of those the first morning. After using our last one on our second morning, I went to the office to get coffee. It was 8:30am and the office was locked up tight. They did have a sign saying they would open at 9am. I returned around 9:10 and it was still completely locked up. Grrr. I wanted coffee! I returned about 9:45 and still not open. I finally found the office unlocked at around 10:15. Since they open the office so late, I wish they had provided more sachets in the room. I thought they would restock after the first morning. They did not. Nor did they clean the room, which I am fine with. I actually prefer no one coming in my room every day. But if you know two people are staying two nights, put 4 (or more) sachets in a room so we can each get a cup both mornings. Or at least open the office at the stated 9am time. As for breakfast, there was some fruit in a bowl and not much else. I'm fine with that. I don't need a hotel to do my food as brought our own to eat on the deck and had the fridge/microwave for that. The person who worked in the office was friendly and nice so all our interactions were pleasant.

The view The temp was hard to control it was either too hot or too cold . You could see light through the doors . No water pressure . And the complimentary soap/ shampoo smelled old. Pillows were lumpy.
