Front Desk... Megan and August are both the best individuals I have ever met in my life. Wish they was working at all hotels/motes front desks because they both light up the atmosphere even when a person feels low. They both are Respectful and Polite with wonderful smiles on the faces 😀 Breakfast good, very clean room, and the rest of the staff are so wonderful as well. We have recently stayed at all three of the hotels in Leland. We come to Leland a few days each month to visit our son and his family and have stayed in each one. We have found that Best Western is by far the best from check in to check out. Clean rooms and a great breakfast.

The lobby, food area, bar, along with the hallways and room were exceptionally clean and well maintained ! The staff was courteous and responsive to any questions or needs. It had been awhile since our stay at BW but we will certainly return in the near future. We have family and upcoming events in Leland and we will be recommending BW to our families and friends attending and visiting. The prices were also very competitive and very reasonable! We enjoyed the stay very much !

Several things that I didn’t like was the firmness or the bed, no fan in the bathroom, the breakfast, and more attention to detail when cleaning the room. The bed was as hard as a brick. Not a comfortable sleep at all. There seems to be a fan in the bathroom but it never turned on, which would have been perfect to absorb moisture and odor. The breakfast was not good at all. I at 1 half of a piece of bacon and one fried egg. The bad food quality was the consensus of the family. We decided to eat out elsewhere for today’s breakfast. The room was neat, but the bathtub didn’t look like it had been cleaned at all. So, I wiped what I could and wore shower shoes. Overall, it was a good stay, with an amazing staff. But, I don’t think I would stay again though, at least not my first to fifth choice.

We were traveling from Florida through the night for a relatives funeral. My sister booked an extra night so when we arrived early the lady checking her in allowed us to stay the one night with them until we could check in later that day since we got there at 2 in the morning. The other lady who ended up checking us in saw the notes on file when we came back down stairs later on allowed us to check in a few hours before checkin. They were very accommodating and understanding. Out of the whole trip which was rough due to the funeral and the absolute worst experience at Cracker Barrel in Wilmington our experience with this hotel was worth it. We do plan to stay everytime we travel up here at this hotel because of convenience, comfort and overall top notch customer service.

Room and common areas were clean and updated. Mattress was too firm. Ac fan was too loud. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. I heard other guests say this is the BEST Best Western and I tend to agree.

Location great access to stores, restaurants. Four days after stay, waiting on credit of 100.00 deposit to cover incidentals. Overall, a positive experience.

I really loved this hotel! Ive had the privilege of staying at a few different hotels in the area (mostly in Wrightsville and Wilmington) and I can honestly say this one was probably my favorite out of all the ones we've stayed at. The staff was super nice, the room was nice, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Property and room was clean and well maintained. Great breakfast and really appreciated how friendly, courteous, and helpful the staff were. The pet room we were in was near the first floor exit at the end of the hall and it was very noisy anytime there was foot traffic in or out, but we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice rooms with good quality bedding, fridge, microwave and a sink outside of the bathroom. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good continental breakfast with a machine that makes lattés or cappuccino or several other coffees. Everything was very nice. This is not the first time we've stayed here and every time was the same great quality.

Everything was perfect.

Staff was amazing and very attentive despite it being an out of seasonal stay and time of the year. We had our anniversary on Dec. 30th and accomodated our needs during low occupancy requiring a good use of resources. I understand the importance of prioritizing people even when it may be a short term loss. A longer view of business made it a good experience for us.

This waa our 4th stay...staff is accomodating & helpful. Breakfast is great...love the 24hr expresso machine!!!

Check in, the girl at the desk was training, her "coach" had us check into the wrong room. Even though the trainee questioned it. When we got to the room it was occupied. They said they were staying for 3 more days and that it took 3 tries to get the keys to there room straight. I went back to the desk and the "coach" said my bad I was talking. Karaoke that night. A group of tween boys were singing. I stood at the bar area for 10 minutes, then walked away as I was ignored. I came back after the kids left and asked if the bar was open. The answer was yes, beer and wine only. I asked for a couple different wines. They weren't chilled. I received a quarter of a glass as a sample. Then asked for another glass. She emptied the bottle, but was half a glass and said that the other woman would ring it up. The other woman proceeded to wait on someone else, poured them a glass of wine that had double the amount that I had. I purposely didn't take a drink and asked her about it. She said she must have emptied the bottle, I said yes. Then she found more of the same wine and added to my glass. No apologies.

My room was filthy, dirty stained carpet, dirty toilet yuck! My friend traveling with me had more than noisy neighbors and was told there was nothing the hotel staff could do about it since the people wouldn’t answer their door. At 4 AM after trying everything she could think of, she called the police! That quieted them down until the police left. Then back at it. The unwillingness of hotel staff to intervene was appalling!

Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious! The staff were all amazing and kind. We were even given a complimentary bottle of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary! We will definitely be back for another stay❤️

The breakfast was great. There is a bar in the lobby. The pool was heated. The king suite was spacious. Cleanliness was great everywhere we went in the hotel. The staff who assisted me at check in and check out were fine. The only downfall was the interaction on the phone prior to arrival.

A great location, staff, amenities and cleanliness. Only suggestion would be for hotel to add a bench with a small roof cover somewhere for smokers. They have to stand outside in the elements to smoke. I'm a non-smoker but many smokers are older and standing in the heat in uncomfortable for them.

They have an amazing hot drink machine that makes delicious lattes and hot chocolates. It definitely saved us some money at coffee shops. The staff was wonderful and the pool/spa was a great time. We will definitely return if we are back in the area.

The key cards for the doors were harendous!!! Couldn’t open any of the doors to get in from parking lot. Had to have them reprogrammed many many times to get into the room!! Been here around 4 times. Never again!!!! Staff was great. Breakfast staff was great! Sorry you can’t get it together. It’s 2025. We should be able to open a door by now for gods sake!!

I JUST LOVE THIS HOTEL AND THE STAFF THERE ARE AWESOME. SHOUT OUT TO MEGAN- SHE CHECK ME IN AND MADE ME FILL RIGHT AT HOME. WE HAD THE KING ROOM SUITE AND IT WAS SOO COZY - WE FELT RIGHT AT HOME AND KINDA HATE TO LEAVE. THIS WILL BE OUT HOTEL EVERYTIME WE VISIT WILMINGTON NC!!

Very nice hotel in the Corporate park. Rooms are roomy and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Only draw back was drag racing in the parking lot in the next door building and street. Extremely loud with billowing smoke. Be aware!!

Very clean hotel. NIce lobby, too! Good breakfast. My only issues were that the shower door would not close completely, causing minor flooding to the bathroom floor, and that I could not see where to turn on the jets in the hot tub near the pool. I also wish the bar had drink options other than just beer and wine.

The hotel is very nice. The room was great. The bathroom is in dire need of an upgrade. The breakfast in thr morning was good, however it lacked any sort of meat. No sausage no bacon, no ham nothing. No signage directing you to an entrance of how it flowed. The food was good though and it was hot and fresh. Overall 9 out of 10

Overall it was ok. The toilet on tne other hand was terrible! Kids size. My husband is 6ft 270lbs imagine how he felt. The moisture vent was clogged so after a shower the whole room went humid. Other than that breakfast was good a pool was 9/10.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy. The pool was clean and heated. They even provided towels by the pool. The bed was also comfortable. We really enjoyed being close to so many things and only 40 minutes from the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time during our stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We found a great steakhouse a mile from the property. Close to Wilmington and Carolina Beach. They had coffee available in the lobby all day!! The pool is smaller but the outdoor area around the pool was very nice, even had music playing on the speakers at the pool. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area.

We had one night to stay here during a whirlwind trip to help move our daughter and her family to her first home. Our stay here was one of the highlights of the whole trip. I didn't like that I was at another motel down the street and they called me around 11.00 to say they had a noise call. When they were in the bed talking . If you can't talk or laugh in a 500.00 room then it's not good to me. They not that perfect to act like that. People don't get a room to sit in silence. I want to there again.

The front desk was friendly and helpful. The room itself was good and the bed was comfortable. The internet/wi-fi and the TV interface was terrible and needs upgrading. A lot of the options on the TV just did not work and the wi-fi connection kept shutting off.

Despite saying it was available daily until 11PM, the bar was closed the entire time I stayed here. Plenty of local food places within walking distance, just wish there were more sidewalks.

This is my choice hotel to stay at when I need to go to Wilmington. The safe is very friendly and professional. Hotel is clean and well maintained. They also have the best coffee/latte machine of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

The rooms are outdated but clean. The biggest annoyance were the room keys. We spent an absurd amount of time trying to get into the building as well as our room. We noticed all the guests had the same problem so it wasn't the keys we were given. We would not stay here again based on this alone.

One of the first things I look for in reading reviews is how comfortable the beds are. 3/4 reviews stated they were comfortable. However, I did not find that to be true. I did love the mini kitchen as having a nice fridge goes a long way for convenience.

I went on birthday weekend got moved 4 times that night. The first room was already occupied when I tried to open the door.The next 3 weren’t rooms I paid for. My kids were coming with family they had to wait because I had to stay in a smaller room and I still was paying for a suite I wasn’t in. Management never contacted or helped

My first time staying and I had an amazing time! The bed was so comfortable and I could hardly get up. Breakfast good, staff friendly and it was quiet.

Breakfast staff rude when asked for where items were: EX: asked for salt and pepper- staff threw open the drawer to find , placed it forcefully on counter and then said “ no salt” and left. Felt he was overwhelmed and unprepared. Also coffee carafe was low and told to use the machine there which took forever and caused a line to wait for! Other than this issue, front desk very pleasant , room comfortable ! Will return on next travel to visit family .

We had an excellent stay here. There was an issue with the door not being able to open on our last day, but their maintenance staff did a great job and got us in! Breakfast food was wonderful and staff very friendly.

The property was recently remodeled and the staff were exceptional.

Making up room is only done daily if you requst it. For clean towels, coffee pod, etc. you must get at front desk. Found this out on 3rd day of stay. TVs are very hard to turn on. Had to do 4 different steps to get regular channels. Breakfast was good, great variety and very clean. People were very friendly and very apologetic.
