This place was awful! Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There were pimps outside in the parking lot and around the property, shuffling girls in and out the back door. There was hair in the shower and pee all over the toilet. And basically we were told they could do nothing for us. Absolutely disgusting! I should get a complete refund.

Location Booked for and paid for a king room got there gave me a queen didn’t correct or refund the difference in price … Not a good choice for Breakfast.

It was conveniently located but, there was a bit of foot traffic in the area which made it feel a little unsafe. Nothing happened in the area but would have chosen another area if I would have stayed any longer. Just a place to sleep for the night it was okay.

From check-in to check out, I had no complaints. There were no dislikes.

Nothing. Pictures were a lie on site They did not honor my rate when I told them my plans had changed and made me pay a higher rate for my stay. If any problems you had to call manager on his phone or text to get things fixed. This guy Danny was who I had to try to text never heard or saw him. I think they need to be reevaluated for the service . I would never recommend this place.

Unable to rest both day and night as room doors slam REALLY LOUDLY! People from the area sometimes walked through the property and by my room window. No privacy unless drapes are drawn. This should not be an issue at all, let alone during the day time.

The water pressure was low in the bathroom, there were roaches in the room, and the staff had no knowledge of what was going on. The room wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be in the key card didn’t work

This is a 2 star hotel at best…The pictures are deceiving. Looks updated but is basically a low budget hotel with a new paint job. If you just need a place to sleep overnight then the bed was comfortable and this will work…it’s right across from Walmart so its convenient. Im not going back though…didnt feel to safe! They need to update the tv also!

No pool

terrible customer service. couldn't leave my bag ahead of time even tho rooms were still booked. was told that I had to leave my bag in the lobby and take my chances of it getting taken and they couldn't hold it behind the front desk. Could not pay for an early check in. Breakfast was terrible and they had a terrible selection with no cooked food.

After driving for 2 1/2 hours, I was ready to take a shower when I entered the room. There were no washcloths in the room. I walked down the hallway and saw a housekeeping cart. I asked the guy working from the cart if I could please have 2 washcloths. He told me I had to wait. I waited for 2 hours and never received the washcloths.

Terrible we were there @ 9:45am and everything was gone. Tried to make waffle but not enough batter and then no syrup There was nothing to like and the coffee Foldgers was trrrible

Nothing it was gross it smelled like a pack a cigarettes and a bag of dope . The room was gross make sure you look at the room before you pay this is the nasty sleep inn I ever saw . Everything including the rude employees the woman behind the counter was on ur phone the phone time she was checking us in and they won’t even tell you the managers name or give contact info I checked into the hotel in five minutes after looking at my room I checked out they told me they would give me a full refund cause I didn’t have any other rooms to accommodate me, but it was a lie. They only gave me half my money back and then the manager Danny refused to respond back to me..

The hotel is clean and close to shopping (Walmart Supercenter, Lowe's), and public transportation. The bed was comfortable. The pillows smelled like someone had used them before. Dont know if the pillow cases were properly washed. I fell off the chair at the desk in the room and it was very difficult for me to get up off the floor by myself. After I got up off the floor and examined the chair it was missing a leg, which I didn't noticed before I sat on it. So I went to the front desk and reported the incident.The guy at the front desk brought another chair to my room and removed the "broken chair." There was no TV remote in the room. I went to the front desk and was given a remote. When I went back to the room the remote didn't work. I realized then it may have needed battery so I took it back to the front desk and another guy replaced the battery. (This guy was on the new shift). I had to make a down-payment of $60 before I was assigned a room. This $60 was separate from my booking fee. I was not informed about that $60 at booking.

Terrible, the hotel is a brothel. Checked in and checked out immediately. The bathroom was awful.

we arrived fairly late from another state, came into the room and began to unpack, and go to the restroom, my daughter found a roach in the bathroom-we removed the roached, tried to make coffee-there was dried, ground coffee already in the pot, wanted to watch TV, the remote did not work, the desk attendant called the room to ask about the luggage cart but the phone cord kept falling out of the receiver, the breakfast was cold and we arrived at 6:10am. the shower had not been cleaned, there was dirt on the shower’s ceiling, walls and floor. The towels needed to be replaced due to curly hair embedded in all of the towels-and when replaced there was straight hair woven through the towels.

The front desk was helpful, to an extent. However, when I notified them about the cleanliness of the bathroom and the bed sheets, they treated as whether or not THEY thought it was clean enough, rather than my thoughts as the guest. Also, there were stains on the bedsheet and unfinished areas in the room. The carpet was also sticky is some areas. Would not recommend.

Roon not clean, the bed is not clean , bed bug bit me on the third floor room 307, please the room Please go and inspect it now, Up to this day 02/ 13/ 2026 my shin still itching me, plus I was getting anotherata room at 303 first and it wore so dirty i have to go back to counter and they give me another room which is 307 but I was so sleepy I just take because it was late, it was smell of smoke too and I tell the guy at the counter.

Nothing Really Room was small furniture and fixtures look like old pressed wood especially in the bathroom, room door did not seem strong and secure. This hotel needs a new overhaul and update. Things are outdated. chips of paint in the bathtub missing, hose was not connected to shower just laying in the tub. Towels not that large or soft. Pillows flat and not fluffy at all.

Staff was not welcoming tried to charge me $30 over the price listed online

The room wasn't clean the repairs that where done on the room where visible the guy at the counter argued with me for an hour saying he didn't see my reservation because i moved my reservation back one day just for him to do the check in for the day before like what was the point of this argument if you where just going to check me in anyway i will not be staying in this ran down dump ever again

Very convenient for shopping and in visitation with relatives

The room was decent. I had to switch remote as the one that was in the room didn’t work. The staff was very friendly which I absolutely loved. Didn’t like the smell of weed in the hallways and in my room. I didn’t complain bc I didn’t stay long but the smell is horrible. Recommend if you don’t mind the smell.

I always stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly. No issues, the room was clean and everything was working.

There were bugs in the roof of the room. They told me to pay cash for deposit. I forgot my deposit there and they stole my deposit. They told me to write an incidental report and the Manager would contact me in 48 hours. It has been about 48 days without a response.

The bed was comfortable Breakfast was fair. Poor maintenance.

The location of the property was great as far as distance from my family. The sheets had a few black spots but other than that appeared clean, the shower needs a remodel it could just be wear and tear but it appeared dirty, lastly the room in person definitely appeared smaller than pictures online.

Amenities and smells

We thought the price was good, but then they charged an additional pet fee even though it stated pets stay free. We came in too late to dispute it or find another hotel. The room was clean and well kept. The walls were very thin though and we could hear our neighbors clearly. They had no consideration for how late it was. Would I stay again, probably not.

Elevator was broke room was not properly clean and house keeping went through my personal belongings and waste my whole bottle of body oil all over the table and inside my purse. They didn't have trash backs in the garbage cans in my room or the bathroom and they didn't replace the use shampoo and conditioner with new ones

Donuts were dry for breakfast, and coffe tasted bad. We could've have stayed in a cheaper hotel without breakfast and with cold water. But we have chosen to stay at this place. And didn't meet expectations.

I like the design of the room the bed was just a tad bit too soft but everything was nice. The floor wasn't swept and there was some kind of spillage by the TV stand. And the clock didn't have the right time. I woke up early twice.

A little worn

After going to multiple hotels from being displaced from my home last week, this was by far the best hotel that I could afford and not feel stressed and worried about the cleanliness, bed bugs, the anxiety, the stress it just went away. The front guest clerk were very welcoming and catered to the needs of each individual guest. As I watched, there was such consistency and the customer service there and I am very appreciative for that. Thank you

I was in town for my granddaughters college graduation and to see my new greatgrand son. I liked that I had a refrigerator,elevator. The bed was comfortable. I didn't like that I couldn't get a discount to stay another night or change to a higher floor room from the second floor I had, I didnt have a chair for the desk in the room.

My recent experience at this Sleep Inn location was nothing short of appalling. We checked in and were in our assigned room for no more than 30 minutes before we had to leave due to the utterly deplorable and disgusting conditions. Despite booking a smoke-free room, the stench of smoke was overwhelming. This was just the beginning of the nightmare. The shower was coated in a thick layer of scum and hair, and the glass doors were equally filthy – it was obvious the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The floors throughout the room were also disgustingly dirty. When we raised concerns about the bed sheets appearing dirty, with what looked like the outline of a previous guest and hair clearly visible, we were falsely assured they had been cleaned and changed. This was a blatant lie. Unwilling to subject ourselves or our child to such unsanitary conditions, we had no choice but to leave within 30 minutes of arriving and find alternative accommodation. Adding to this terrible experience, the hotel is now refusing to provide a refund and has even gone as far as to lie to Expedia, claiming we stayed in the room. Thankfully, we have proof of our prompt departure and our stay at another hotel. Do not book a room at this Sleep Inn. The conditions are unsanitary, and their customer service is dishonest and uncooperative. Save yourself the stress and find a hotel that prioritizes cleanliness and respects its guests.

I had the worse experience ever at the sleep In hotel at 5400 Farrington Rd Lathonia, Ga 30038. once I arrived i noticed there was hair in the shower and it was filthy dirty. I immediately asked them to come clean the shower. I then left my bags at the hotel and left for the day. When i arrived back later that night after midnight i then noticed a huge roach in the light fixture that is not fully operable. I called and reported it to the front desk and I was told maintenence was gone. The next morning I went down for breakfast at 7am, which is from 6am to 9am and what I saw was far from out the ordinary. There was sausage links that was cut up in pieces signs saying that you can't bring yiur food back to your room. There was a few pieces of bacon and waffle batter that was to thick it wouldn't even come out. When I asked about more bacon Nash the front desk reception clerk Nash stated that when the 4 pieces is gone he will make more. He then took the container with the batter and went in a closet area. I watched him and when he came out I asked him if he added water to the batter.. He stated that he went to shake it up.. There is no way possible he went in a closet to shake up a container with batter in it. I then asked him about more towels so that I can shower he stated that I had to bring him the old ones in order to get new ones. He stated that I had to wait 10 mins for them to come in to work.. 20 mins later i called and I was being told that i had to bring the old tow

I was offered a half a million dollars by someone claiming to be from the mafia to be quiet about events that led to my son almost died in a convoy style short force in Gainesville Florida this person claim to need me to go back to Florida and never return after suspecting human trafficking at play in a slew of Indian and Middle Eastern owned hotels with the Natural Built infrastructure designed for stunting the ability to communicate.

My family and I did not feel safe. The front desk person was unhelpful and did not look like he worked there.. He informed us that the rooms were not ready. My husband complained to manager and he told my husband he would refund our money. However at 8pm I received a message from Expedia that they checked us in without us being there. Im currently disputing charges with Expedia and my credit card.

The service was good. Reserved a king but would not give it. Says they only have 5. Andy gave us 2 queens after much pressure. The weed smell was too much. I know they cant control that but so much. Needs maintenence. My outlets did not work at the sink so no hair curling nor shaving there. It is a 1 night stay spot.

Smelt like weed! It was disgusting!

I booked a room here for two nights. Going off the photos online I thought it would be alright. I got here and the environment just gave a lot off top. I get the room and I go look before I get my things. The first room was nasty and so was the second one. I was told after that them was the only two rooms left. And it was nothing he could do because the house keepers wasn’t there. So I went to the second room now I had to do my own thing to get the room together. So when I tell the people about the shower. He say oh it’s just stained and we can’t do anything about the black stuff in and around the shower. Now the bed was clean and soft. Other then that it was not a good experience for me.

The window in the room was partially opened and locked in that position we could not close it completely. We reported the issue to the front desk and they provided some type of key device that was of no help.

Says you need a $60 deposit but doesn't give a receipt taking the money or giving it back. Waiting on my deposit to hit back to my card which clerk says it could be 2-3 days.

Expedia site says pets stay free but there is a nightly fee. I told the front desk agent but he didn’t care. Also let him know I was evacuating for a hurricane but didn’t care about that either. He put me on the first floor near the entrance so my dog barked all night at the foot traffic. I asked if I could check out at noon instead of 11 while I figured out if roads were still closed from the storm, and if I might stay another night. front desk refused, again not caring about my situation at all. There’s really no lobby to wait in. I switched hotels after the first night. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was dirty. There are very few restaurants in the area and the grounds had trash laying around. If you are in need of a place to stay and you have nowhere else that would be the only reason to stay here.

Kicked us out of the hotel right after I paid for the room. It wasn't even 3 pm yet. They kept my money.

When I initially booked the room, I was under the impression that I had paid in full. When I got there I was told that there was a 60 room fee for each room. Then I extended my stay for an additional day and was told to leave the room or pay an additional 40 per room to “check in early”. They are ripping people off! Can you imagine being homeless and only being able to fine funding one day at a time and being told to check out, put all of your belongings on the curb and wait from 11:00 to 3:00 to recheck in or pay an additional 40. They are uncaring and greedy establishment and I will NEVER stay here again! I would rather stay in my car at least I would have a peace of mind!

I liked that the property was very clean, and the room looked like the ad. I didn't like that the door was difficult to lock when leaving the room. I would certainly stay there again, and will look for Sleep Inn when I visit other cities.

The staff was friendly/accommodating and the rooms were clean. However, the rooms esthetics is what caused this low rating. First, I will report my son’s room. After check in, we had trouble accessing the room with the card. My son went out. When he returned, his room card didn’t work. Earlier, my son had driven over 5 hrs to get there. He was exhausted. I asked him to wait in my room. The desk associate made several attempts to open it. He even retrieved an actual key and tools - no avail. He made several calls to maint - voicemail. My son was issued another room but it was hours before he had access to his belonging. Therefore he couldn’t freshen up or turn in. The new room didn’t have a chair for sitting. We didn’t ask for one. My room didn’t have a sitting chair but was brought when requested. My refrigerator didn’t work. It was replaced with one from a vacant room - the next day. The next day, I requested a one night credit for my son’s room as a result of his inconveniences. I was given a form (survey) to complete. There was no telephone number or email provided. I was told mgmt would review it and reach out. No response has been received as of yet.

I don’t recommend due to there isn’t any maintenance and housekeeping comes whenever and you don’t have fresh towels everyday during your stay, had to plunger the toilet myself cause it backed up and the front desk told us to come get the plunger then bring it back, the water was shutoff without notice and had to wait to shower, construction work on the ceiling being done during breakfast time in the breakfast area. Unprofessional and rude front desk staff. We were asked to sit towels outside of door then when we requested new towels he then said we needed to bring the towels to him to get new ones.

Booked a room for four days, checked out after the first night. Place was just dirty, staff untrained, and wasn't very welcoming.

Door lach broken we had an issue every time we come in and out the door will lock by itself when you try to open it. From this gentleman told me to get decaf coffee because the regular coffee had run out he couldn’t bother to go make a new pot. The entrance sliding glass doors are super dirty from both sides. They cannot even bother to clean their entrance windows that shows how the rest of the place must be run.

Where in the hotel for 8 days and the room was only cleaned once no option to leave sticker at door for room service. No chair in room to sit in. Breakfast was the same daily waffles, pancakes bagels etc. no eggs, sausages etc

A quick overnight stay & worth the price!

I was in an emergency and needed a clean and safe place to stay. Sleep Inn did not disappoint. The rooms are clean and modern. The staff are friendly and there is a security guard at night. Convenient to shopping and easy access to the interstate. I would stay again and recommend to my friends.

The continental breakfast was not welcoming. Nothing to drink. I had to ask for water. This hotel was once a hot commodity in Lithonia. They need to do some more ground work outside and freshing the rooms a bit more. Bring this hotel back to life.
