Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness, spacious rooms, and friendly staff. However, there were several complaints about the beds being uncomfortable and issues with cleanliness in some rooms.

The room has a great layout that the two bedrooms are far from each other. Two bathrooms definitely a plus. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I had a great night of sleep. The free dinner and breakfast were wonderful additions. I have never experienced a hotel buffet that told customers to only take once. While it was ok for the free dinner, it should not have limited takes for the buffet breakfast. It actually created more wastes as everyone overloaded their plates. The breakfast staff were very unprofessional. After reloading coffee for a long time, they were the ones who took coffee for themselves. At 8am, the staff were getting the buffet meal and eating at the counter. When asking them to bring bowls as they ran out, they came out with only one bowl. They also had no smile.

This hotel needs to be updated. Lots of main issues. We have stayed at several and this is the worst. I had to be moved 3 times this was after i settled for a queen room even though my reservation was for a king room. Then we put in a main issue with our shower and main made it worst so they had to move us they them put us in a double and thiught that would be ok. I had to make a point that we would not settle for it and we had to make another move. This was the worst stay as far rooms and the way the hotel looked.
- 3/5
The bedding is ok but pillows not so much. There is a little kitchen which in itself is really useful but a part of the dishes were dirty. Not a pleasant experience. Breakfast is ok, baggles not fresh, tabasco sauce and Frank sauce were diluted with water Air condition in the room made a lot of noise. Staff really nice and helpful.
- 3/5
The girl who checked us in was not friendly or informative. We had no idea where our room was or where to park. No information about amenities or a pool. Our handicap accessible room had about 12 inches of space between the bottom of the bed and the wall. Barely enough room to squeeze through to get to the bathroom. It was clean, but the hair dryer was missing. The hostess at breakfast was engaging and attentive to the meal. She did a great job. Other staff in the kitchen, could have cared less that there was no apple juice in the dispenser. Our stay was quiet, but they could do better.
- 2/5
There are two hotels in the area and neither of them have the name of the hotel in front of the property. Our room was ok, but the bathroom doors were filthy. The pull out sofa was broken and the mattress was ancient. There were also no extra linens for the pull out sofa and it took them hours to deliver fresh ones to us.

Perfect the potatoes were a little hard

That said, arrival was smooth at 1 am. Check-in was uneventful and the room was clean (and large) upon entry. One mishap was I thought I reserved a room with a king bed (solo traveler) but ended up in a suite with 2 queen beds. As for breakfast, it’s included in the nightly rate. Line-up of options is decent. Usage of paper plates requires you be a bit more thoughtful on how much food you carry in one go.

Nice modern hotel with a great breakfast. Poor, inexpensive bathroom not aging well. Very nice kitchen.
- 5/5
We found the property to be very clean and comfortable to stay in. The included breakfast was great, and the lady taking care of the dining area was very tentative and kind.

Room was great - very clean. Breakfast we very good. Staff very friendly. Only issue was the cord was cut on the room phone - which was really strange.

The breakfast was very good. The complimentary dinner was a nice surprise. We really enjoyed the salad and dressing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband wasn't feeling well and one of the staff provided all the blankets we needed. The bathroom area could have been cleaner. This hotel is a bit tired, but that is my only complaint.

Breakfast was poor, frozen egg omelets were awful. Ran out of coffee. Trash can area for cleanup was filthy. food on the floor and outside of the can. Even staff winced when they had to go near it. The room was shabby. Upholstery torn, furniture broken. This was in their top of the line 2 bedroom suite.

The two bed suite room with family room and kitchen room amenities were great. Perfect for what we needed. The morning breakfast was fantastic. Staff were accommodating and friendly. There was a strong odor of weed smell in the hallway.

Provided the expected value for its price. Decent coffee was served. They have a great playing room for kids right next to the dining tables. On check in, the staff was super nice and made me a little 'Goodie bag' for my 40 birthday - really cute and nice effort. could have been more diverse. Pastries were lacking freshness. Breakfast staff were nice but spoke only Spanish. Every morning had the exact same items - zero rotation in offers.

Comfortable beds also rooms are clean Enjoyed my stay only thing that was very aggravating is that I had to keep stopping by the front desk and be assigned new keys because the room key would work then it wouldn’t, I feel like that is a major inconvenience stating that the price of the stay wasn’t cheap also hallways have a funny smell it’s hard to explain

Surprised they offered food at night. The assortment for salad toppings were very good, including: avocado, beets, chick peas. Liked that bedroom was truly separated by wall and door from kitchen/living area. Only were two restaurants in short walking distance, both fast food.

This hotel was probably “clean” but is so outdated and in need of renovation that it appeared less than clean. It starts with the pot-hole filled parking lot and filthy front door glass leading to the lobby which had already ruined the first impression. Our suite had furniture that was old and run-down and the wall-papered walls had scuffs, and even boot prints. The couch appeared as if a gorilla sat in the same spot motionless for 2 years. Linens appeared clean & crisp, which was the saving grace. We probably will look elsewhere in the future.

Toilet was a lil dirty had a ring inside
- 4/5
The cleaniness was mostly good. Two issues. Tiny blood spot on one of the beds. (Throw away stained sheets). Long hairs in the bath tub. (Scrub harder.) I would stay here again. Everything else was good.
- 5/5
Clean room the staff were very nice & helpful i definitely would recommend

The Hotel was good, 98% staff amazing, shot out Jennifer. But where we at breakfast not great. No juice i was there 3days, always ssking for plates syrup etc. But we made a little mess the baby did like dropped food, in the Saturday, still there in the monday breakfast. So really my only yuk, causevthats where people eat you would want that area to be kept in good condition to avoid you know what
- 2/5
The room was dirty and they texted me at 3 a.m. for an “incidental charge.”
- 2/5
The room was gross. Dead bugs on the floor. Room smelled like smoke and old food.

great place to stay 👌
- 5/5
Clean, spacious room. Staff were amazing! Very friendly and accommodating, especially Mary and Christine!

Breakfast was amazing. So much better than I expected as I’m usually disappointed in breakfast at other hotels.

Heat was not adjustable

I stay in hotels frequently, especially the ones that have that "home away from away from home" vibe and have never had a negative experience until I encountered Staybridge Suites Syracuse/ Liverpool. The most alarming incident occurred when another guest scanned their key and walked directly into my hotel room. The woman was just as shocked to see me as I was to see her. Shortly after, the front desk called to explain that when I checked in, they failed to officially assign me to the room I was given, resulting in two guests being checked into the same room. Instead of relocating me or properly resolving the situation, they simply added my name to the room and reissued keys, after the safety breach had already occurred. This was completely unacceptable. The issues didn’t stop there. Wi-Fi Problems: The Wi-Fi barely worked during my stay. Initially, I couldn’t even log in because the system required a last name and room number, which makes sense, considering I was never properly added to the room in the first place. 🙄 After going to the front desk, I was informed there was also an access code required, which I was never provided at check-in. Once added, the Wi-Fi worked sporadically at best. Checkout & Billing Issues: Given the experience, I made sure to check out at the front desk personally. I was told my receipt would be emailed to me, it never arrived. I

Room was not overly clean, but comfortable enough for one night

Very Clean room. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent! Quiet and worth every penny!!

- 5/5
Good enough for our stay as expected.
- 3/5
The couch was damaged and the entire floor smelled like marijuana but it was clean and staff were wonderful! You can’t help the guests behaviors!
- 2/5
The first room we were in was not cleaned. There was food crumbs all over the floors and the previous guests drinks left in the fridge. While Esther tried to make it right by upgrading our room, the new room had a crazy foul odor coming from the sink's garburator. They had to come pour bleach in it. Then that smell was strong so we left the room for several hours because it was causing us headaches. We were then told that we would be given a free nights stay with IHG points, but when we looked, the 5000 points they added to the account doesn't give us anything and an additional room would still cost us quite a bit. The breakfast was decent and the staff were very friendly, but that's about all that was good.
- 3/5
Really nice people. I think the important surfaces are cleaned. The buffet was meh. Seems like they’re falling behind on maintenance.
- 2/5
Mattress on pull out was nasty and had to ask for bedding. When bedding came it was a torn blanket with no stuffing inside. Had to ask for more blankets. Had to request more towels for 5 people only had two. Hall had a stink odor that was overpowering. I cancelled the next stay for later in the week as soon as we had the issues.
- 4/5
Comfortable room in a great location.
- 5/5
Very comfortable beds! Breakfast staff was great.
- 4/5
The breakfast was good and had good hours. The only real downside is road noise. That isn't their fault, but it is important to note.
- 3/5
Beds were not comfortable and trim, walls, etc need refreshing. Otherwise good stay
- 2/5
Room was not clean. The floors looked like they hadn’t been done
- 1/5
The pullout couch had bugs and they only gave me a $40 credit
- 5/5
The breakfast was fantastic! Hot buffet, beautiful fresh berries, wonderful service
- 5/5
Spotless. We loved our room. Big, plush bedding and a sectional couch. That’s a big plus. Well appointed stocked kitchen. Even had a 2 burner stove. Full breakfast-scrambled eggs, toppings, sausage.good coffee, juice, fresh fruit. The breakfast attendant made sure we were pleased. She even took our dirty plates. She worked hard to keep the area clean and stocked. She deserves a pay raise.
- 4/5
We did not eat the breakfast; the room was clean; plenty of parking.
- 5/5
Pleasant
- 5/5
It id close to everything and easy to get to.
- 5/5
I was in the Syracuse area for 2 weeks. I spent time in a few different properties due to my work plans. The Staybridge in Liverpool was by far the best! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are well-kept and the area was very safe. I will stay here again.
- 5/5
The manager Cristina was super accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was good and the place was clean and quiet. For the price it was an excellent value
- 5/5
Nice comfortable hotel. The staff provided excellent service. The breakfast was good.
- 1/5
I noticed power outage at around 4am in the morning. I called customer service using my mobile phone, because the phone system was down too due to power outage, and only found I was talking to a virtual agent after a few awkward minutes. Tired and frustrated I hang up the phone, and stayed in the room. The next morning, power came back on luckily. To be fair, my rating is influenced by the unpleasant customer service call.
- 2/5
The group of seniors sitting outside and playing music and 9pm should have been a sign of what was to come. The smell of mildew from the bathroom made it hard to sleep. The bed creaked at any movement. And then the power went out so we prepped to leave in the dark.
- 5/5
We had a good overall experience, the breakfast was nice, and the lady who helped us was very friendly.
- 4/5
We had a spacious room. Staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly Mary at breakfast time.
- 5/5
The place was clean and affordable. Mary at the breakfast was so friendly, kind, and welcoming!
- 2/5
Staff was accommodating
- 2/5
Poor customer care. No one was ever at the front desk. The rooms were poorly taken care of. My son scratched his leg with some sort of metal that was under the bed. Paint was chipping off the bathroom vanity. Everything was old here. The refrigerator was like from the 80’s a conference room chair was there to use at the desk in room. There was no ice, no breakfast, restaurant on site was never open. Not a clean hotel at all. I would not recommend. I would not stay at this place again.
- 2/5
Horrible check in delay and awful rep on desk. Insisted on personal info tho prepaid thru hotels.com so unnecessary. No hot breakfast—cold eggs in water and cold sausages and lukewarm coffee. Unfriendly. Complained about job there. NOT WORTH PREMIUM PRICE!!
- 5/5
Robert at the front desk was excellent! We had a bad experience with the hotel next door so let’s just say I was overwhelmed. Robert was very welcoming and changed our mood quickly. Thank you!
- 5/5
Spacious room, , great breakfast, professional and friendly stuff.
- 2/5
Nice staff! Needs a deep clean.
- 5/5
Had a great comfortable stay. Highly recommend this location
- 2/5
None of the washer and dryers worked properly. They left my clothes in a pile of water and just stopped working. Everything was dirty, looked dirty, smelled dirty, crumbs in the microwave. The staff is lazy and does not clean. I asked them to at least come take away the trash, she seemed annoyed by this request. I guess I was supposed to let it pile up for an entire week while I was there. Oh and last but not least my 8 year old son and I could have gotten high off the weed smell in the hallway, and it was there all day everyday for the entire week!
- 5/5
The out door sitting was nice to have along with the basketball court
- 5/5
Clean and large rooms - great price
- 5/5
Very clean and perfect location for an overnight stay to see a show at Empower FCU
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
It was very quiet and easy location for the NY thruway. Kitchen very nice.
- 5/5
The hotel is very convenient to the interstate. It was easy to find and to park. The front desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. I asked for an extra blanket and she brought it up to the room very quickly. The room is comfortable and roomy for all five of us. It is a great hotel to relax for the night before we continue our trip.
- 2/5
Room was outdated and not real clean
- 4/5
The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful & patient during a chaotic graduation weekend. The location is convenient to Syracuse University. The hotel itself was dirty, with stained carpets and visible dirt, etc. on floors everywhere. Room was moderately clean, but I wouldn't sit on the furniture!
- 5/5
The breakfast was amazing. Will definitely recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Great property. Staff was awesome. Great breakfast. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
My suite had a complete kitchenette with dishwasher & toaster & 2-burner stovetop. Really marvelous. Comfy bed. Quiet room. Nice breakfast. Great staff!

Property needs basic updating -- USB plugs, room phone didn't work, Main room ceiling light didn't work, worn cabinets in kitchen, couch went to the floor when you sat on it, same with chairs, holes in blackout shades. Beds comfy. Nice, helpful staff. Great location JUST off Rt 90.
- 4/5
We were so impressed to hear that the hotel offered dinner and breakfast. We had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and each day they offer a different breakfast menu. We had a cheese omelet for breakfast, plus meats, breads, pastries, yogurt and cereals. The room was comfortable. Everything was very good
- 3/5
Always feel safe at this location, never any issues always accommodating. I would always give a 5 star. Somethings were out of their control however what was within their control was great! Even with the mishap that occurred we had received exceptional service from Ester (I believe that was her name) And Michelle. Thank you for exceptional and professional treatment! We will be back due to the resolution.
- 5/5
Easy check in and friendly staff. Room was great and had comfy beds and plenty of room. Great selection at breakfast.
- 4/5
Breakfast and dinner amazing Service was amazing
- 3/5
The hotel and suites fit our needs except just be aware that this hotel DOES NOT have a pool or a restaurant. It does not have a hotel next door with a pool to use or a restaurant with a bar. These are pieces of information we read online abput this property when searching for places that had a pool and a restaurant for this visit.
- 5/5
The room was bigger than I expected and was extremely clean. The staff were all courteous and helpful. Overall impression of the stay was very positive and would definitely stay again. The included hot breakfast is a great benefit as well.
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice. Clean & comfortable. The rooms are large and comfortable… including the bed!! The breakfast was very well done with a good selection of both hot & cold fare. By far the best thing about this hotel Staff. The reception desk people were very friendly & accommodating but my favorite person of all was the lovely woman (Mary) who oversaw the breakfast area. She was delightful, you could tell she loved her job. Mary was efficient and brought joy to the experience!!!
- 2/5
Initially the hotel had issues with check in and took over a hour. Our bed had broken springs and shower was broke. Would never stay again. Needs lots of updating.
- 3/5
Having 2 bedrooms and bathrooms was great. We needed more seating for eating. Couch was very uncomfortable. The king bed sheet had large dark stains, unable to use the bed. Furniture and flooring should be updated.
- 5/5
OMG best hotel we have ever stayed at. Clean, smells good, everything works in the room and quiet. We had a very good and relaxing time. The complimentary breakfast was awesome and was only second to the excellent and friendly service of the outstanding staff. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
The lobby ambiance was inviting, clean, and well-designed, which immediately set the tone for a pleasant stay. They even offered me a welcome drink (a nice touch!) and ensured I felt taken care of. Special thanks, to all the staff that went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I’m already impressed and excited for the rest of my stay. Highly recommend starting your experience here with such a positive first impression!
- 3/5
At check in we were given a room with one double bed, I had reserved a queen. It took about 40 minutes to resolve the problem , 8 o’clock at night, before we could get into our room. There was no housekeeping, but I requested fresh towels for the next day. Fresh towels were thrown into our room, the dirties were left inside, I had to put them outside our door. Theo room didn’t even have a box of tissues for the bathroom, we were told a delivery was delayed…hello, Wegmans is a mile down the road, are you kidding? Just not happy for the price we paid. On the upside, the woman in charge of the breakfast area was outstanding. The food, not so much. Will stay elsewhere next time, there are many other options in the area.
- 5/5
A little difficult to find one i got to the address. Name of hotel not visible from street.
- 5/5
Very clean... very quiet and the breakfast buffet was awesome!
- 5/5
Very good customer service and the breakfast was great
- 5/5
Clean and cozy !
- 3/5
Pool was listed and wasnt there
- 4/5
Property was nice and quiet. Room was very clean. Hotel could use some updates. There were no USB ports anywhere in the room!! They could purchase some room lamps that have built-in USB ports!!
- 4/5
clean, quiet, comfortable. well priced. not much in the area though.
- 5/5
Suite was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helped with some last minute scheduling issues. The best part was the outstanding buffet breakfast. Very convenient access to Route 90. I will be in Syracuse for 7 home football games at will stay at Staybridge for all 7.
- 5/5
The front desk staff is amazing. I didn't have many requests, but in every instance, the team were quick about resolving my questions. Will be returning the next time I'm in SYR.
- 5/5
Lovely property
- 5/5
Loved our quick stay here! The staff at the front desk were helpful and personable. Mary was wonderful helping my mom and myself with the breakfast area. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
- 5/5
Breakfast and dinner
- 5/5
This property was more like staying at a home than a hotel. A kitchen setup, separate bedrooms and bathrooms, perfect for a good night sleep.
- 5/5
Ok
- 4/5
Hotel staff were great. Happy hour and breakfast exceeded expectation. Hotel is somewhat dated but well maintained. Very close to Syracuse Mets stadium.
- 5/5
Amazing. They are very accommodating and responsive. Price is very reasonable and the rooms are perfect for what we need.
- 5/5
We were visiting family and though we come to this area often we have not stayed here before. It is now at the top of our list of places to stay in the area, My daughter especially loves the 2 room suite so she doesn't have to hear my snoring. The place is convenient, clean, comfortable and surprising affordable.
- 5/5
Wonderfully large room great for a family of 6. Was surprised at how much room there was and that there were two bathrooms with showers.
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful. A great amount of amenities provided. Wonderful areas on the property to sit outside and relax.
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was really nice
- 1/5
They double charged me and i was over charged
- 5/5
Just be advised the adjacent hotel closed so if you’re planning on having dinner and a drink you can’t
- 5/5
The room is big and pretty.
- 4/5
The only complaints I had was regarding the tub and the bed. The tub was very very slippery and I nearly fell a few times. The bed... Easily, The worst part of the room. The bed was so squeaky/creaky and the most uncomfortable bed I've ever had tried to sleep on. Kinda firm (which I prefer) but felt like sleeping on a rock if that makes sense . For someone that has a bad back, that bed was not for me and I ended up staying on the couch, which was decent. The hotel is pet friendly. They say 100% smoke free but someone either next to us or below us was smoking weed. The hotel was very easy to get to and close to a Speedway, fast food and a grocery store. I'd maybe consider staying again, as long as I can be assured the bed would be different.
- 5/5
We came for my mom 70th birthday, and our stay was wonderful the breakfast was wonderful. There is a beautiful older lady that works in the breakfast area that make you feel at home she was so delightful and pleasant. The staff was excellent.
- 4/5
Tesla supercharger nearby
- 4/5
Full kitchen was chosen and bags of coffee was provided but NO Coffee Maker !
- 5/5
The property overall was spacious. There was ample free parking. Rooms were clean and had a nice kitchenette. Staff was friendly. Just wish it was more affordable
- 3/5
I loved the size of our room with the kitchen - it looked like an apartment. However the mattress was hard and very noisy
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 5/5
My only complaint would have been the storage shelf above the toilet in the bathroom. I managed to smack my head and give myself a big welt for my trouble.
- 5/5
Excellent, loved our stay
- 1/5
The staff were lovely but the first room we stayed in was not vacuumed and the room we were transferred to had uncleaned stains on the couch (which we cleaned ourselves), on the carpet, as well as crusted on particles in the bathroom and kitchen, which we cleaned ourselves. The place was a little run down but that would have been workable if not for the terrible clean issues.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. Would stay again.
- 3/5
We'll stay again however because they carried Epoch Times newspaper. First hotel I've seen with a conservative newspaper, yay!
- 4/5
Room had leftover dog treats under nightstand and window was open when we first arrived in room. Couldn’t figure out why room wasn’t getting warm until we noticed open window.
- 4/5
Overall decent overnight stay. The staff were friendly and breakfast was pretty good. They offered fresh berries and other fruits which is a big plus. The hotel is in need of new beds, bedding and chairs. The sofa bed mattress had yellow stains and the room did not come with bedding until requested. There were holes in the blanket. Definitely need a revamp of these items.
- 5/5
Quick stay for family event. Hotel was clean and service was excellent.
- 5/5
Clea, comfortable and inexpensive. The best continental breakfast I’ve ever had.
- 4/5
Furniture in room is badly worn with torn cushions.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed 2 times In the Pass 3 weeks My Boyfriend lives in Syracuse and We love it here. It makes us Feel like it’s our Apartment not a Hotel. Will stay here Everytime I come in town
- 5/5
The weekend breakfast was made even better with Mary. She absolutely made our stay here a thousand times better. Thank you!
- 2/5
The body wash pump in the bathroom was empty. Overall, not a great experience.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly
- 4/5
Overall it was a nice place to stay needs more stuff around it and it’s set off the road parking lot needs some better lines and such. Guy who checked us in was super nice.
- 5/5
My stay at the Suites was one surprise after another. I had my dog with me and the $75 fee was a surprise. The Suites charges $75 for 1-6 days. It was a bit much for one day I thought. Then, the man at desk told me there was a complimentary evening meal. We fed the dog, too. I could not figure out how to make the dvd player work in the room so maintenance came and started it for us. We asked if there was a place in the hotel to get popcorn. Roy said he didn’t think so. About a half hour later there was a knock on our room door. The maintenance man had gone to the store and bought us a bag of popcorn. He wouldn’t let us pay for it. Everywhere I went with my dog, the staff were so gracious. Mary fed the dog breakfast bacon. Put that the suite was clean and super comfortable, I give this place all the stars I can give it.
- 5/5
This was a stop on a journey, quick in and out. Easy to find, super friendly, helpful staff. Clean and well appointed with easy Wi-Fi! Loved the kitchenette idea, even if I didn’t use it. Highly recommend.
- 3/5
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Gym had broken equipment. Room smelled like smoke. General condition was dated and worn.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to Syracuse University which is what we were looking for. The breakfast staff were incredibly friendly and provided great service. Overall, it was a good experience and we would stay here again.

It is located near places we wanted to go to. The breakfast was good, only down side was they were out of a few things.

Spacious and clean suite. Staff very helpful.

Room was somewhat clean, however, hair left in the bathroom sink. The bed was not comfortable, just an old spring matress that was sinking in the middle. Room refrigerator wasn't cold enough to keep the food cold. Breakfast is only served at 7h30 am, which isn't really conveinient if you are there for work and leave early. Also, the gym equipment all require maintenance. There is better for the price.
