Thank you too for providing EV charging in the parking lot. Please note: overnight parking is $40 added to the cost of the amount paid through Hotels.com. There are few other parking options available. There is no in room coffee??? There is also no coffee in the lobby. The restaurant downstairs charges $10 for one cup of drip coffee to go? Almost no Vegan options in this restaurant. And the request for a late checkout time is $100 even though I checked in the night before at 11:00 pm? They automatically charge your card if you aren't out of there by 11:30 am? A lot to pay for staying for only 12 hours.

The staff was incredibly helpful specially Michael, and the room was both nice and clean. The breakfast was quite healthy and delicious, and the parking was easily accessible and convenient. The overall cleanliness of the place was commendable, and the pool was an amazing feature.

I really like the hotel. I had issues with electrical outlets near the bed (they were too loose and the plugs constantly fell out). I also struggled with the AC. It is motion detected but it appears it only works when you are walking around in front of the thermostat. If you sit on the far side of the room to watch tv, or go to bed, the thermostat doesn’t record movement and thus doesn’t keep the temp at the temperature you set it to. This was frustrating in the middle of the night, waking up super hot, and having to get out of bed to move around so the AC would detect movement and come on for a period of time.

The air condition unit in the room was not working properly, and it was HOT in room. They could not accommodate me to another room or fix the air conditioner until the next day. Manager was very unaccommodating to me as a guest. No discounts or anything. The worst customer service that I have ever received.

The front desk staff were amazing. The room was lovely. I loved having a view of the courtyard. The breakfast staff were amazing and the food was also great. Didn't realize the hotel wasn't in the greatest location, although felt safe in the hotel itself. Also there were things in the hotel that were a bit older than expected for the price, the elevator and the washroom in particular.

Staff other than house keeping were rude. The place was clean but very outdated. The tv said it offered other apps but when you’d click it went old school snowy. The tv itself was one of the first thick flat screens you’d hang. Amenities were not great. Hotels app said it was a 8 min walk to some sites we wanted to see. It was a 25 min walk.

I have stayed here before in one of the modernised rooms and it was great. This time we were on the top floor with a room overlooking the courtyard and, whilst is was exceptionally clean and the furniture in good condition with good space, the bathroom and decor were in need of updating. In particular, there were lots of big cracks in the ceiling above the bed, some of the bathroom decor and fixtures were stained and the wallpaper very dated. If the room had thesame update as the one we stayed in last year, it would be excellent. The reception areas would benefit from some maintenance/renovation. Staff were as helpful as friendly as ever and we had great sleeps as the room was quiet and bed comfortable

Worst hotel visit I ever had. There are metal plates on the street next to my room and every time a car was driving over it, it made a loud bumpy noise. So if you wanna have a restful night, don’t go there. The guy Micheal at the reception had the audacity and said to me before my stay that it’s a quiet room. Don’t go there, they didn’t care about my issue, the other receptionist (not Michael) didn’t care about a refund or anything else. What a joke this place is, don’t go there!

We liked the convenience and safety of the parking area. We also enjoyed how comfortable our room was. Once we parked and walked in the building, we were not able to use the elevator to go up to our room. The elevator door was having issues closing. So we had to use the stairs. That was a bit stressful with the weight of our things but overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Overall, the hotel looks great. The room we got, however, wasn't that great. It is possible there are other rooms that are in better shape. The room wasn't very clean. The paint was scraped off in certain places. The shower drain cover was not installed all the way. The lights near the beds did not work, and the wall-mounted adjustable lights were so loose that we did not want to move them. The pool was very nice and private. The center courtyard was beautiful. Parking is expensive. There needs to be better details of the room when you book because the pictures of the room weren't the same when we booked it. It seems like they have a bunch of different room styles, and we didn't realize that when we looked at the pictures of the specific room we were getting.

The rooms were quaint. Double beds, not queen, more like two full size. Coffee cups, no coffee pot or coffee but they encourage you to just buy some from their restaurant. I wouldn’t say you get amenities. I’ve never been to a hotel where everything had to be purchased. I believe ice was free. Overall, it serves the purpose of a nice clean place to sleep. Don’t expect anything “extra”. Parking is expensive AF. It’s nice. I would stay there again if I needed to be in that area, but I was underwhelmed. The cleaning staff were the best part of the place. Great people. Very friendly. Everybody else just stares at you like you were an inconvenience paying them$150+ a night.

This place looks entirely unrecognizable from the photos. The building is sketchy and the room was literally falling apart. The bathroom had a bottle opener mounted to the counter that was falling off the wall. The rooms have SHARED balconies that connect multiple rooms and anyone can just look into your room or try to open your door. The overall cleanliness was poor. The room and bed were uncomfortable. Would not stay here again and definitely feel that I over paid for the quality received. Staff were all nice though.

Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was extremely disappointing. Service took forever because there was only one person cooking and taking orders while another employee only handed out food and made coffee. The wait was long, and for what we received, the price was shocking. We paid almost $95 for 2 bananas, 2 coffees, 2 fruit parfaits, and 2 croissant breakfast sandwiches. Definitely save your money and eat elsewhere for breakfast. The convenience of the location was nice, but the breakfast was overpriced and poorly managed.

3pax for 5days stay. Room we 1st got was not cleaned so they had to transfer us to a different room that’s smaller and no seating area. It had 2chairs and we asked for an extra chair but hotel said they didn’t have any extra chair to provide. Shower area was cramped. Also used the hotel’s laundry room but laundry detergent dispenser wasn’t working and we used the dryer for 2cycles(50min each cycle) but clothes came out still wet. Minor things but keep in mind, we stayed there for 5days so you’d think they’d provide a more comfortable stay. Only upside is that it’s walking distance to a lot of food options, pool area was nice(3ft-8ft deep) and beautiful, close to Griffith observatory, Hollywood sign, Hollywood walk of fame, Beverly Hills, Rodeo drive, downtown LA, California Science center museum and anything east or West Hollywood area. Basement Café was also a plus for your morning drinks and snacks.

Stayed for a few nights and would not stay again. Room was average or 'ok'. If I remember correctly the description indicate a restaurant, they do not have one. The only food available is a small cafe separate from the hotel open only for breakfast. Rooms do not even have a coffee maker, when requested they said they do not have any coffee makers in the hotel. I don't recall ever staying in a hotel that did not have any coffee. The gym was average, enough to get the job done. Hotel is not in a great neighborhood but probably safe enough. For the price I expected more and this was a very basic hotel. Overall I wouldn't stay again.

Front desk was awesome, had a causal conversation with me as we arrived. Quick turn around for some extra towels when my kids used up the ones in the room. Property was high end feeling, clean, and had proper amenities. Would recommend to friends and family if they were visiting the area. If we return to CHLA for more testing we will be back

Ground floor rooms have windows that open directly to courtyard or street, where anyone could easily climb in. Clerk said “we watch surveillance cameras all the time.” As a woman alone, this was not enough. And one room had strong smell of cleaning product.Bed too firm ;good hot shower and nice towels. Room affordable but insane price for parking.

Their online check-in asks for too much information, staff was not friendly, and our room floor was sandy. The hotel looks lovely online but is showing it's age in reality. The beautiful fountain is not actually the main entrance and faces the back parking lot which is confusing. Location is not great either.

The photos of room shown on expedia are deceptive, they have broken bathroom door that doesnt closes, permanent coffee stains on the floor, untidy bathrooms and stains on the doors as well. Bathrooms have BathTUBS when photo expedia listing shows showers. The receptionist and manager , Nelson and Pil seems to be least bother on complaining and stated - ' You booked Standard rooms, you need to book for Upgraded rooms for the expected services' When I complained to expedia, they didnt bother to help either. So be careful before booking this hotel, read all reviews from various portals about them. The only good part of hotel imo is its location and centrally located to most attractions

This hotel is horrible! Do not be fooled by the “excellent” reviews probably staff members trying to improve ratings. Room reaks of mildew…transferred twice. A/c out and asked if I wanted a fan and also suggested that I keep my patio door open to let fresh air in. Vending machines were all empty. $6 for a small bag of chips. $42@day parking. The property is extremely outdated and unsafe. Two cars were burglarized along with my car and the front staff was rude. The gate did not close to prevent outsiders from coming in.

The condition of the property is very poor. It is clear that the staff are trying to do the best with the product they have but the general conditions are bad enough that no amount of friendly service can overcome this. The rooms lack blackout curtains, and with bright exterior lights shining directly through the windows, it felt like daylight inside the room throughout the entire night. The air conditioning system is outdated and extremely noisy—you’re forced to choose between having cool air with a loud, disruptive motor or turning it off entirely and sweltering. The toilet ran continuously throughout the night (ghost flushing), and the soundproofing is practically non-existent—every noise from the hallway was clearly audible inside the room. I didn’t get a single hour of quality sleep during my stay. While the price may be low, the lack of basic comfort makes it impossible to recommend. Also they do charge $39 for parking which wasn’t stated anywhere.

The stay was great the only issue was there was a stain on our hot tub we didn’t think much of so we didn’t report it only to find out when we checked out that it was burn marks and because of that we had gotten 3 charges a 200 dollar charge a 300 dollar charge and a 400 dollar charge and they kept the 100 dollar security deposit, none of this was informed to me via call and the only reason I found out was because I called back to them and they had told me about the burns, and after trying to explain it was there when we arrived they had said the rooms get checked daily and their housekeepers would not have missed it. They also refused to call the previous tenant to ask them if they had any knowledge about the mark. Overall the hotel was nice but the entire situation has ruined the place for me and my friends

I stay in hurley every single month plus my win home and have never encountered an issue like that. They did not offer any discount and honestly acted like they had no fault in it. Upon reading other reviews I now see this has been an ongoing problem for them. Terrible way to treat customers paying top dollar for most ‘luxurious’ room you have and act like this is acceptable way to wake up!! Additionally 4 people i suite all paying their parking fee as well. Disgusted by entire experience. as a side the restaurant/bar is closed and has been for a while. Bad section of Hollywood. We have stayed here in the past. It’s a nice hotel for the area, but it’s not in the best part of town. Sadly, we didn’t sleep at all, since the room they put us in didn’t have blackout curtains and the courtyard orange lights lit up the room the entire night. We booked through Expedia, not sure if that made the difference in room quality. Exhausted and disappointed.

The hotel is located in a fantastic area, close by to the metro station and accessible for those driving by. The facilities themselves did have a few leaks in the lobby area, and the shower in the private room I booked did have a slight area where I was unsure of whether it might leak. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here immensely.

Pil at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a ridiculous rule that if you do not take down your "do not disturb" tag from your door by 8 am, housekeeping refuses to clean your room. I didn't know about the rule and took down the sign around 9 am on the first day before we left our room, so when we got back, our room wasn't cleaned. When I called the front desk to ask, Pil wasn't there and the guy who was there was rude and told me I should've known to take the "do not disturb" sign down by 8 a.m. Since the cleaning ladies were still in the hallway, I asked if they could clean our room then, but the rude front desk guy refused. I travel a fair bit across the world and I've never come across such a strange rule in any hotel or met an employee this callous and bereft of customer-service skills. Other than that, our stay was pleasant.

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. There was an ant infestation in my room and management refused to do anything about it. There were thousands of ants in my room - on the bed, on the desk, in my clothes. I wish I had read the reviews first, because I would never have picked this hotel.

The person at check-in was courteous but new and gave us wrong information. At checkout, the staff simply took the key and said goodbye — no sincere apology, no accountability, and certainly no compensation. The constant confusion and nickel-and-diming over basics was unlike anything we’ve experienced at a hotel. At first glance, the room looked nice and clean with well-made beds and fresh towels. However, we soon found problems: the bathroom door was difficult to open and close, making loud noises at night; the toilet leaked; the hair dryer didn’t work; and under the beds was extremely dusty. Overall, the stay was extremely disappointing. From misleading booking info to poor service, lack of responsibility, and subpar room conditions, this hotel fell far short of expectations.

We selected this hotel, because it was the closest, most attractive hotel to the Greek Theater. We paid extra to park in a secure parking lot. Since the Greek theater was 2 miles away, we arranged Uber transport to the theater for the show which we attended. The hotel was great. It expressed charm from a bygone era. It was clean and well maintained. Our room faced an inner courtyard full of luscious plants and a chattering fountain. My only complaint would be the neighborhood, which was middle-class residential. There were no nearby restaurants or shops. It was not a neighborhood which would invite one to walk about. Fortunately there was a coffee shop in the hotel where one could buy breakfast.

I like the two-queen sized room decor and the beautiful view from my window. The only flaw was their restaurant. It was too expensive. I drove from expensive NY but I wasn't going to spend more than I had to for food. However, I did agree to buy a $3 cup of black coffee. Thereafter, I walked to McDonald's every morning for breakfast. There were other restaurants within a couple of blocks from McDonald's where I bought food and coffee from too: Subway, Donkin' Donut's and a gas station for a 6 pack. I would stay at this hotel again. This hotel was clean, comfortable and felt glamorous. I was allowed to check in at least two hours before regular check-in time. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was stuffy. AC Was turned all the way down but just wasn't making a difference. I don't mind being warm but if anyone else was with me, we would have probably been requesting a different room. Also, it was too bright, was surprised to find the slider didn't have blackout curtains. with both curtains closed, it was still very bright in the room from the outside light from the courtyard. Other than that, no complaints, staff was awesome.

The hotel is advertised as 4 star but i would consider it 3 star. It is in very good condition, it is obviously older but overall good. I wish there was closet space as opposed to the rustic bar. I am not sure if California has surges or outages but a few times my power went out and i had to reset my surge bar. The terrace seating area was excellent. Check in staff were hilarious, anyone saying they were rude are out to lunch. Its well located to a bus and train i used frequently. I do think the breakfast was over priced.

Unfortunately, there is no way to get coffee before 6:30 ish. Mostly not until till 6:45. When the restaurant opens. And the coffee at the restaurant is very expensive, $10 for coffee with cream to get your day started for take out is outrageous. They need to rethink this. We met several people unhappy with this. The A/C in our Room did not work, just recirculated air, but the room we booked for our daughter across the hall was great. It wasn’t too hot in LA that weekend, so we dealt with it. I did alert the hotel staff. So all in all, a very nice hotel that is close to a lot of things, it just needs to listen to the customers. Front desk staff was so so. Morning lady was great, but evening guy was completely disinterested.

The property feels very secure. Very clean, but somewhat rundown inside the room. The wholly contained bathroom makes it difficult for more than one to get ready at once - if one person needs privacy the other can’t really do anything that requires a mirror of the sink. The bright light on the balcony cannot be turned off and the curtains do not black out, so the room is quite bright at night. Overall, adequate for our single night requirement, but not a place I’d stay as a vacation destination.
