Hollywood Inn Express North

The location. Fridge in room. The room was mostly clean, except dirt and blood stains around the door frame. No proper hand towels. No daily room cleaning. We asked for an iron from reception and they gave us one that was all burnt on the metal and transferred black onto our clothes. The room doors were completely accessible to the public (didn’t have to go through a reception area to reach the rooms) felt unsafe. The hotel took a $100 deposit on check in, which (four weeks after check out) I still haven’t been refunded. I’ve contacted the hotel and had no response. We left the room in good condition as we found it and so there is no reason for me to have no received the deposit back.

Beds were comfy Lady on reception was lovely Area not nice. Plug sockets dangerous. Shower not attached properly so dripped constantly. Door card didn’t work properly needed resetting every time. Male on reception was rude and abrupt, on arrival he told us we could change in the luggage room (which was a room that property maintenance used) as our room wasn’t ready, so we did. However on check out the lady that works on reception informed us that there was cameras in that room so said not get get changed in there.

The only thing we liked was the location. The photos posted must have a super filter on them because the only word I could use to describe our stay was raunchy. Cleaning was minimal. My mom found someone else’s shirt wedged between the bed and nightstand. We all felt more clean by not taking a shower. The carpet is beyond disgusting and the smell matched. We slept with the windows open to air out the room. Prior to arriving we planned on leaving at 11 am (check out), we decided to get just enough sleep and left at 3 am so we didn’t have to stay another minute. You have to pay for parking even though the bookings website says it’s free. How this place has a 6 rating, I’m not sure. I thought maybe we just got the room with the most use (3 beds) but my brother also got his own room (1 bed) and the situation was identical, there was even hair on the shower walls. I also woke up with several bug bites. Never again ??

Value for money, big room, close to transportation and Hollywood area, lot of restaurant and cafè We had to wait half an hour for checking in (we announced our arrival time). We asked to keep our luggage after the check out, we were told it was not a problem and then they told us to recollect in the early afternoon. In general, we didnt have the feeling of being welcome. The carpet in the room was smelly and doesnt seem clean.

Location was good, room was clean and tidy and comfortable. Large enough for four people and bags from international travel. Massive bed, and one double. Lots of street noise, VERY loud aircon which we had to keep on all night, would have been nice to have a jug and cups and utensils to make a coffee, staff were not all that helpful, just checked us in and nothing else offered.

Everything was dirty I don’t stay because the shower was Moho and dirty?the room smell really bad The parking was really small and the apartment really dirty and the person don’t give me my money back if I don’t leave the night
