- Issues with air conditioning and shower cleanliness

Everything was super clean. Staff was amazingly helpful. Parking was a little tough, but staff helped with that also. Nice pool area connected to a diner with a full bar. Great outdoor seating. Definitely be back.

The location was great. Very close to Hollywood attractions and many other local facilities. The staff was great. They accommodated my early check-in, I was very tired and really needed too rest. Would have loved access to a microwave to warm up my take away food. Nothing serious really.

While it may not look like much from the exterior, the rooms have all been renovated. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, & very clean. The front desk service is always gracious, polite & they often go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The location is in a nice part of LA, on the MIracle MIle, right next to the famous Grove shopping center & Farmer’s Market. The price can vary, but when it’s low season, it’s arguably one of the best moderately priced hotels in LA.

The parking despite being on a back street felt very secure, watched by security and plenty of spaces with some spaces locked overnight. Location was very good to access different areas of LA, room was clean and big with plenty of space. The coffee machine in the room was also very good. Air con was noisy and the pool needed a good clean and renovation.
- 4/5
Liked the staff, super nice and friendly, the rooms were clean and relatively spacious. The free parking and high security was a huge plus especially in LA The noise isolation (both from inside and outside) could be improved. Also some minor cosmetic changes and updates could be made.

Great location. Clean room. The shower booth could have a door so the water won't leave the booth.

I like how fun our room was! There were multiple seating areas, it was decorated really well, the bathroom was a really good size, they also had a full length mirror, & we had access to the pool from our room through the sliding door. The employees who worked overnight & the following morning were great. I parked my car in front of the front door, as one normally would at any other hotel, because in front of me were parking spaces saved by cones that read “Do not touch cones.” The employee working happened to walk someone out of the hotel & asked me if I was checking in & I said yes while I was walking in towards the lobby & check in area & it seemed he was a bit flustered because he said something along the lines of: Sure, you can park there but the parking is around the corner. It was my first time to that hotel & there were no parking instructions in any confirmation emails & I don’t believe there were any on the building. He gave me instructions on where to park & where my room was & I noticed a gated entry down the main hallway that goes from the lobby to the parking area, when I tried to re-enter the building from the parking area the gates door was locked. It would be have been helpful for him to let me know that the door was basically for show & to walk around to the main entrance, after every time I needed to get something from my car. Bottom line is he was nice, seemed a little flustered & there could have been more communication via email about parking as well as the gated door.

At first glance it looked like an old fashioned motel. Yet as soon as I arrived an employee saw I used a walker and gave me a parking place right out the front door. The service was impeccable - each person was so kind and helpful. There's a restaurant attached to the hotel and it's simple but excellent with the kindest owner. I just can't say enough about the wonderful people who work at this hotel and restaurant. Better choices on TV like YouTube and Netflix.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and we really appreciated that the room was cleaned every day. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. The only thing worth mentioning is that rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy in the morning. However, this is not the hotel’s fault and there is not much they can do about it. If you are sensitive to noise, you may prefer requesting a room on a quieter side of the building.

This is my favourite budget hotel in central LA, always come back here. Excellent position, spotlessly clean, super comfortable, spacious room, bathroom and shower, kind staff. And free reserved parking, which is a rare treat in central LA.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Artwork around the hotel was gorgeous. Room was comfortable and workspace was spacious. The location near the Grove was great! We’ve been staying at the park Plaza Lodge for over 10 years. The rooms have been remodeled and everything is clean. We did not have breakfast here this trip. We enjoy going to the Grove and the farmers market walking distance from the lodge. You can get breakfast lunch and dinner there. After the remodel, they took out the small table and chairs, which was great to sit and have your morning coffee. Use the computer or just relax.

A great option for our Los Angeles stop during our road trip along the Pacific Coast Highway. The hotel is located in a clean, safe, residential neighborhood. The room is a good size, clean, and equipped with everything you need (coffee maker, safe... the microwave is in a common room on the ground floor), featuring a tasteful design and a large, private parking lot (it's even covered and gated!). Right next to the hotel, there's a café and even a Thai restaurant owned by the same proprietor. Lastly, a special shout-out to Ronny - the true heart of the Park Plaza Lodge! - who welcomed us at the front desk in the evenings with outstanding helpfulness and kindness :)
- 4.5/5
Great location 5 minute walk to the Grove and a 7eleven just down the street. Thank you for our complimentary champagne as we were celebrating our honeymoon. The staff were absolutely lovely and the main reason we would 100% come back. Free parking too and super clean and comfy rooms. No complaints!

The parking was extremely tight for a midsized car and I was not told about the additional parking location until I was checking out. The cleaning products used in the rooms were very strong and the smell seeped into my bags and clothes.

I really like this hotel, it really looked like the pictures on the website! Super clean staff was amazing.....yes BUT they need new mattresses or have some extra cushion toppers it would be cheaper, I had to put my pillows underneither me to feel softness. The purpose of a hotel is to sleep good, I slept ok but everything else was amazing and the fact that my room was right in front of the pool was the best, just open the sliding door and there was the pool!! The mattress way to hard. They need better ones or some extra cushion toppers. Oh and why arent there any phones in the rooms that really through me off. I had to go to the office to let me know that the remote was not working, just needed batteries but still.

The FREE parking was also a perk, since most hotels in the area were charginging at least $35+ per night. The staff was super helpful and nice. Every time we came back to the hotel they greeted us by name. They asked us everytime they saw us if everything was good. VERY ATTENTIVE. They reserved a spot for our car since we had to come and go frequently for Church services. This was a huge help since some of the services ended late at night. The room was clean. There were enough outlets for charging your electronics. They provided us with a microwave upon request. There was a small fridge for a few items. The only "issue" and these were minor, was there is no iron in room, but I am sure if one was requested they would have provided one. The closet was not a closet but an inset space and the way the "dresser" was situated, there was not enough room if you had longer items to hang. The coffee machine was an expresso machine. As a coffee drinker, I need a bit more ounces in the morning. But that was not an issue because I simply went across the street to buy an Americano. The property is older, a retro type property, yet rooms are renovated. We would definitley stay here again.

The Hitel was cute. It was in a super convenient area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size. There room was updated, but the bathroom needed some fixing, even though I think it was updated also. Parking was very good. All in all it was a very pleasant place to stay for four days.
- 5/5
It was a hidden spot with free parking ?️ Parking is behind the hotel and it can be a walk with luggage
- 5/5
It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the rooms have been completely updated & are clean, well coordinated & comfortable, especially for the low rate for Los Angeles. It depends upon when you book, but during low season it’s a fantastic deal. It’s also located in a nice part of the West Side on the MIracle MIle, 1 block from The Grove shopping center & The Farmer’s Market. LACMA, the beautiful new museum is within a 15 minute walk. Rooms have a pod coffee maker, refrigerator & a rain shower head. The service is outstanding. They’re always pleasant, professional & gracious, taking care of any need.
- 5/5
The room was bigger than usual and we liked the decor so much. There was small patio as well. The free parking was a bonus.
- 5/5

Convenient location. Stellar staff. Super cute. Love the honeysuckle aroma! Mattresses could use some love.
- 5/5
Nice place, nice location and nice staff.
- 4/5
Room was small and kinda dated. The shower is awful, lower water pressure and a waterfall style at the top of the tall ceiling, so the by the time it hits someone under 6 foot feels like a light sprinkle. There is zero counter space in the bathroom and the lighting is dim. Bed was comfortable and thermostat worked great to keep the room cool. Staff was friendly and the location of the hotel is amazing! The parking included in the cost of the stay makes it a great option despite the drawbacks of the room. I would stay again because it's clean, felt safe, the neighborhood/location is central and ideal and parking was always guaranteed and no messing with valet.
- 4.5/5
The property was centrally-located for everything we wanted to do LA! The pool needed a bit of attention - bugs and dirt/debris in the water. Holes and cracks in the concrete needed patching.

- 4.5/5
Modern, very clean, on site parking and great location for what we had planned—Palm Sunday mass ( several choices within 1-2 miles), Craft Contemporary and the Farmers Market! The only negative was a little noisy (walking above us and voices from lobby area) but I am a light sleeper—my companion didn’t notice it at all.
- 5/5
We lo ed this place, a real find. In the thick of the area. Close to the grove and other local attractions. Had a pool too and restaraunt onsite. Parking was accessible on the property. We would stay there again. Support small business!
- 4/5
I only have two quibbles with the property: 1) Noise transfer between the second and first floor was pretty loud. I had to call the front desk around midnight to ask them to quiet down the folks above. 2) The bathroom had one of those half panel showers, so inevitably water was all over the floor when you stepped out and the showerhead controls were rather confusing. There was also no counter space for toiletries.
- 5/5
Great Hotel - Staff and Location is great, loved the Diner next door.
- 4/5
Great location and super nice staff. Wasnt a fan of the walk in shower and the tv apps wouldnt work. Otherwise would be 5 stars
- 2/5
Woke up in middle of night due to loud noises. No elevator so since i was on 2nd floor i had to lift my luggage up 2 flights of stairs but thankfully it was not heavy. Loud but acceptable noise from air conditioner. No door to shower so can't make sudden movements or water will go out. No dedicated breakfast area but next door has a hospitable owner and great food in a relaxing environment.

Picked this place because of the value and location/proximity to things I needed to do while in town. I debated between this one and a few others and am so happy I picked this hotel. Staff was friendly, parking was easy, room was clean, cool modern furniture and art, felt safe. Would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
It looked a little weird as we were going to our room. When we got in the room, the cleaning chemical smell was overwhelming. We looked out the window and it was a concrete wall with barbed wire on top. The door looked like it had been broken into at some point (gashes that had been painted over) we were afraid to leave our stuff there. We immediately checked out and was not offered a refund. Would not recommend but some people look like they were having fun.
- 5/5
We enjoy stay at this hotel when we visit LA.
- 5/5
Cons were that noise from the hallways can be easily heard, but this only was an issue when we choose to sleep in one of the days. The pool area is small and its next to the patio seating of the restaurant separated by a short wired wall. It made it a bit awkward to go swimming during a busy time for the restuaraunt with so many people outside. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The neighborhood its placed in is so adorable and I wanted to get a coffee from The Coffee Bean across the street and just go for walks up and down the streets but time did not allow. I definitely would stay here again!
- 5/5
Very good location and clean

Staff was very friendly, parking in back was ample. Layout is a little weird. Hallways are dingy and there are big gaps under the doors as if you are in someone’s bedroom. Just felt funky

It’s in an excellent area for going to the Farmers Market and the Grove. Safe and easy access. Free parking is a huge bonus!

Park Plaza is an affordable and stylish stay in an area otherwise lacking in hotels. It feels like a converted classic '60s 'dingbat' apartment complex, giving off retro Karate Kid vibes. Front desk staff are super friendly, rooms are spacious and adequately comfortable, parking is free, and you're in walking distance to the Grove and Farmer's Market. My office is a block away on Beverly and - tired of mediocre AirBnBs in the area - I am happy to have found this little gem to stay at for short trips when I am in town. At this price point, in this area, it is hard to beat.
- 4/5

Park Plaza Lodge was a very clean and comfortable hotel. The only downside is there is not much around the hotel such as dining.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and check in/out was great. The room was clean and perfect for the week. The location was so close to the mall, farmers market, and huge park. I will definitely be back next year for my annual trip to LA.
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and very boutiqueish. I will stay here again.
- 4/5
Rooms were nice and the parking was very handy. Overall would recommend this place.
- 5/5
This hotel is in a great area of Los Angeles…. As soon as you walk into the rooms, you could smell how clean everything is…. a little pricey but worth it stayed the night for New Year’s to watch a show at the El Rey theater….👍👍
- 4/5
Park Plaza Lodge is recently renovated and has clean, modern finishings. The bathroom was bright, beds comfortable, building well-maintained, and staff helpful and friendly. The onsite restaurant (with outdoor seating by the pool) and off-street parking are very convenient. As an older building, the room walls/doors aren't soundproof so you can hear neighbouring rooms and noise in the hallway.
- 5/5
Friendly and easy. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
The staff there are friendly and nice. The parking is not the best but it is free. The room is nothing ok but it’s the cleanliness that made me give it a three. The shower wasn’t very clean and needs attending to or redone you can tell it hasn’t had a good cleaning from the dust on the baseboards and the makings on the wall. There was also this bright blue light above our bed that just made it a bit difficult to sleep. The bed was also up against the wall that is the wall to the hallway so you hear people coming and going.
- 5/5
Only downside was the loud AC but it was like white noise eventually.
- 4/5
A very friendly place to stay in LA and very handy for the Farmers market for food and shopping just an 11 walk away, the area felt safe and easy to reach the La Brea tar pits museum and handy for Hollywood. The room was large and clean with an excellent shower, WiFi worked well. Only one annoying thing was the walls being paper thin it felt on occasions next door where in our room we could hear every word being said. Luckily they kept quiet after 9pm or that would have been a serious issue.. Overall a very friendly place to stay if you have quiet neighbours.
- 4/5
Ruby and Robin at the reception were very friendly and helpful. ATTITUDE for breakfast was lovely. Good place if you meet up with friends or family for a cozy chat.
- 5/5
The hotel is run by a friendly and professional staff. The rooms are nice, location is very good. There is a restaurant on the premises which is also exceptional.

Room recently remodeled and good value.
- 5/5
We liked our room and enjoyed our stay. And many thanks to friendly and helpful staff for making our stay a pleasant one. However, we had friends staying at the hotel and some of the rooms (224 for instance) had views of a wall, ventilation equipment, etc. Not a problem if you enjoy a dark room with the curtains closed but if you want light and a view of LA, check in early in the day.
- 4/5
Cleanliness: excellent. Staff friendly & helpful.
- 5/5
Good use of a compact space. Shower was very nice. Sink vanity could use some additional space. Bathroom needs at least two hooks for towels, shower caps, etc. Loved the hand soap in the dispenser instead of a bar soap that dries out your skin. Also loved the fresh breeze coming through the open hallway and the window that opened in our room. Microwave in room would have been nice. Water bottle filler on premises would be nice. Service was excellent! We were allowed to check in early and given complimentary bottles of cold water. We would definitely stay here again.

When entering room the a/c had been turned on to pree cool the room on a hot day it was a pleasant surprise.

Cute place in walking distance to the Grove, the Grove Farmers Market, Wilsher Blvd, LACMA, La Brea Tart Pits, the Holocaust Museum. There are bus stops near by too. The staff was nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

Hotel location made seceral nearby attractions very walkable

This is a hidden gem! It was perfect for what we needed. The AC unit is loud but better than the alternative! Rooms look recently renovated. We had plenty of room for our belongings…

The location was great. Super close to the farmers market and the Grove outdoor mall. I would recommend bringing a backpack and renting a scooter. The property was very nice. The only downside was the walls were thin and I was near the stairs. There was no elevator so you could hear everyone dragging suitcases and the maids carts up the steps.

If ever in area again would definitely stay here.

This is the second time staying here. I actually stayed in the same room again. The rooms are nicely updated and the rate is affordable. All of the staff is great!

From the moment we got to the hotel, we noticed that the toilet was not flushing properly but it was working well enough so we continued to use it. A couple days later, it stopped working altogether. No problem. We just notified the front desk to get someone to look at it. The lady that looked at it actually suggested we dismantled the toilet and flush it by pulling on an internal lever. That is not acceptable for any hotel. The correct solution would've been to either move us to another room or get someone to fix it. Since they were not moving us, we demanded that they get someone to fix it until they did. That specific day they did not bother to clean the room and left trash in it. It's a shame because other than this, we were having a good time.

I absolutely loved it here for the price especially! Everything was fantastic from the super cute rooms to the staff and awesome restaurant that is attached. I can’t wait to stay here again. The ability to be able to park my car for free and walk around and see the sites was great! Bed was really comfy also.

I have stayed there a couple of times before and was never disappointed. Very friendly staff, nice room, quiet, free parking, reasonably priced. Nothing to complain at all. I will be back, no doubt.

Great customer service and clean environment. definitely recommended

Park Plaza Lodge is a gem! The staff is amazingly kind. My room was clean, comfortable, and recently renovated. Free hotel parking is a huge bonus in LA--this is almost unheard of. Is this a 5-star hotel? Not by hotel class. But I would give 5-stars for the value and overall experience. Will absolutely stay again.

The property is outdated on the exterior, but the lobby and rooms are renovated and modern. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was conveniently located.

Hidden gem!

Came from San Diego tee a show at the El Rey, this was a 15 minute walk and there were plenty of places to eat/drink nearby too. First off, I accidentally double-booked and the management was extremely accommodating, they took care of it right away. Secondly, my room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Extra points for refillable soap, shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom. Not sure if that's mandated in LA, but I as an environmentally conscious dude I really appreciated that as opposed to all the throwaway, individually sized plastic soap bottles, etc.

I have stayed here many times over the years. Its recent renovation is a wonderful change as it needed it. It feels clean and like new. It is the best option while visiting the West Hollywood area as it is cheap, nice, and has parking included!!! This is always my go to hotel!

Small hotel. Great staff. Close to Grove and Farmers Market.

Exceptionally clean and nice.

Great little gem in a central part of LA

So first of all I wanna say is, the hotel was nice, but when we walked into the room it felt like we walked into hell because that room was hot. The AC was turned off we turned it on and took a while to finally feel somewhat cool but eventually it got cold, the only other downfall is if your a lil husky like me the parking is super small and on the backside of the building.
- 5/5
The hotel and staff are great. Nice change from the usual hotel, feels very boutique. It’s alley parking but it’s not bad, just unusual. We will definitely suggest this hotel to others and will be back.

Unique room layout

Nice place. Funky decor. Clean. Good location. Free parking.

My room was very clean and neat. It was very quiet. The view from my room though was a cement wall. Then again i did not spend a lot of time in the room because I was visiting family. It was very close to the Farmers market which was a great place for breakfast or lunch or purchasing fruits and vegetables.

Clean rooms, modern style decor. Came with a fridge in the room. Location wise it’s in a nice enough neighborhood, close to the Grove, Melrose and Hollywood isn’t too far by car. It was near everything I wanted to do. Noise wise I can’t say much as I didn’t spend that much time in my room, but when I was there sleeping it was fine. Front desk staff was super nice and helpful. Front desk is manned 24/7 so even if you come back late there’s someone to let you into the hotel as they lock their doors at night for safety. I would stay here again if I’m going to be in LA.

We weee a little skeptical when we pulled up as the sign outside is very old and made us believe it was going to be a dump, but it couldn’t have been further from the truth. It was a great hotel, with a very cute lobby. To get to the rooms, was like a motel stay but to get to the rooms was very secure as you had to walk into the hotel to get to them and that was all very safe.

Loved my stay here, and everyone was so friendly and attentive! Can’t wait to come back next month
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Lots of parking available. Friendly staff.

Get room 109!!! Sliding glass door to the pool! The pool is a bit tight, but decent. The pool is accompanied by the tables from the restaurant.which is sectioned off by a fence. Cozy for sure. The staff was fantastic the rooms are clean and ready to go! Also...full bottle shampoo and conditioner already there. Enter the driveway on 3rd. The parking is behind the hotel. Great stay for me and my family.
