Really nice hotel and great location for shows at the Hollywood Palladium. I will be back next time i am in town for a show. Minor gripe is alack of storage for clothes (no drawers, only hangers)

The staff was superb, from valet, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, all super friendly and responsive.

Location and staff. Hot water was not consistent in morning and was told it was because too many other people using hot water so some cold showers. Also, big private event on rooftop deck and it was very very loud. We couldn’t sleep through it and so we decided to watch tv and couldn’t hear the tv clearly. We ended up going out early just to get away from the noise.

The roof top amenities were amazing both during the day and once the sun has set. Nothing! We had a fabulous stay

Breakfast passes are per person, for 1 day. This wasn’t specified, on the website I didn’t find out until I got there. They have events but don’t let you know, so if you would like to chill by the pool side you’ll have to be given a wrist band, and have selective seating. 80% of the seats are reserved for the event parties. We were notified as guest that events were happening which took away from our stay. Time and money we won’t get back. There was a day that the bar was completely closed and was open for the event, not for guest. Some staff members were stand off ish and the others were very sweet. (I didn’t see any name badges to specify who), it was a gentleman at the front desk came off a little rude or like he was bothered by us. Room service was decent, sometimes they came quick but then there was a time where the didn’t come and I had to remind them. In our hotel room, we were having problems with our bathroom door closing. It kept falling off the top part where it should slide. It was numerous times we were struggling to get out the bathroom, and had to have someone from the other side to open it. Aesthetic wise the hotel was beautiful and modern. I would rate my total experience a 7.5/10

Excellent location for the a Hollywood Walk of fame. You can actually see the Hollywood sign from the rooftop, where there’s a little rooftop pool and stunning views. Staff were all friendly and extremely helpful.

The property was clean and comfortable. The reception staff were rude when we asked for basic information. Also the rooms are also small
- 4/5
It had a nice rooftop bar and a pool up there too. You can see the Hollywood sign from the top, the room was nice. The shower had 2 shower heads, one a waterfall and one detachable. Bed was comfy, really no complaints besides parking
- 3/5
Angry chicken sandwich gave me food poisoning: it was definitely angry.

Was given room below lounge and had to ask for change knowing that I was with family, could have ensured better room.

I love this hotel. The staff is amazing and the rooftop has a great view. Walkable to many Hollywood sites. Definitely recommend.
- 1/5
I don’t know if it’s a hotel or nightclub. If you want good sleep, don’t book! All the people coming to party are loud
- 4/5
I would have given 5 stars but there was a private event being held on the rooftop pool and we felt like we were intruding being up there. The rooftop was the main reason we selected this hotel so it was disappointing not to be able to relax up there.
- 5/5
Love the godfrey. Wish the rooms had a microwave
- 5/5
The Valet was first class service! Completely impressed by the team up front!
- 3/5
I don’t appreciate the resort fees.
- 4/5
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small but the bed was very comfortable. There was a party on the swimming pool area and could hear them until late night. I could not eat on this side and had to have a light dinner at the bar. I appreciated the voucher given by the reception for drinks and dinner. The swimming pool was very very small and impossible to swim. I could not dine there as well the night I arrived.
- 4/5
Overall amazing experience however a few things need to be noted. The blinds did not work and kept getting stuck and was extremely frustrating to deal with when opening and closing blinds. Also, the light coming from the thermostat was a bright blue light that lit up the whole room while sleeping. Other than the room being an issue the staff was very friendly, the space was very clean.
- 5/5
The room was very nice and clean. It had a very good smell to it not sure what they use but it made it very inviting! The only thing I could say about the property is the gym facility could use an overhaul! The curtain in front of the window is falling down, a plastic clear box mounted to the wall half falling off, no sanitizer wipes in there to clean the equipment. The restaurant bar area very nice in the pool area as well as the main lobby area. overall the next time we are in the area I’d stay there again!
- 3/5
Staff seem very unsure of the area and what’s around. Pool does not reflect photos. Breakfast is questionable ….half a table of “buffet” breakfast for $38…. Just take it off and keep à la carte. Overall clean property. But I would not choose it as my stay again.

Rooms had a nice view of the local town and the hotel was clean and well presented. Hotel was expensive, unnecessarily. Vouchers were provided but $9 plus tax and service for a 330ml can of beer that the staff didn’t pour correctly. Tried to grab a drink upstairs one afternoon, couldn’t as some dance class was taking place.

Great property! Staff is professional and pleasant. My room was a little small but comfortable and nicely appointed. Would stay again for sure!
- 4/5
Hotel has impressive interior design but was a bit dirty and unkempt. Room was small and noisy. Service was competent but tense. Breakfast and element lounge was subpar.
- 1/5
Between Expedia notifications, emails, and texts, I received a flood of messages for a single overnight stay — I have screenshots across all three channels. Major hotel brands are deliberate about when and how they communicate. The Godfrey's approach felt indiscriminate and created unnecessary stress. The fees compounded things. This is not a resort. Charging a Vegas-style resort fee on top of expensive parking felt more like a revenue strategy than hospitality — and it wasn't clearly communicated upfront. The check-in experience set the tone for all of it. The front desk staff was completely transactional — mechanical and disengaged. No warmth, no acknowledgment that you were a human being. In hospitality, that first impression is everything. The Director of Rooms did reach out and apologize, which I appreciated. But an apology doesn't fix a systemic problem. I won't be returning for my upcoming follow-up visits — which would have been recurring business. Future guests: know the fees upfront, brace for your inbox, and don't expect a warm welcome at the door.
- 5/5
Cute hotel, small room but did the job.
- 5/5
Really helpful staff, excellent service, quiet location - I’d definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful. Hotel was easy to navigate and the views were great!
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful staff, very chill environment.
- 5/5
Bed and pillows were so comfortable.
- 2/5
The rooms are tiny, which is especially shocking for a newer hotel
- 5/5
Few walks from Hollywood walk of fame. Valet services with in and out services was super convenient. Dtaff was extremely helpful.
- 5/5
It’s a great spot to spend a little time in. You’ll love the amenities.
- 5/5
Perfect one night stay. So happy with property, we'll be checking it out for a longer period of time next month. May become our go to place to stay when visiting LA.
- 5/5
I loved everything from the staff to my room. Great experience
- 5/5
Room was great
- 4/5
The room is quite small. As soon as walking into the room, you're walking right into the bed. The air conditioner was not working, so the air was constantly blowing. Also the walls are thin, I could hear the housekeeper cleaning and vacuuming the room next door early in the morning. They do give you a complimentary $10 comp card for drinks at the bar, or for food.
- 5/5
Boutique rooms, beautiful bathroom. Staff wonderful and helpful.
- 4/5
Average hotel for the price. House keeping didn't leave clean towels when we wanted them changed.

The hotel was amazing! Very clean, gorgeous, and was in the perfect location as Hollywood blvd was well within walking distance. Also, Shane at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating, especially when I had questions. The food at the ALK restaurant was really good too, with excellent service might I add. :)
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel!
- 3/5
It's a nice small hotel room. The rooftop is to die for and really what made our stay truly worth it. The pool and lounge are perfect. The rooms are small and the AC does not go below 19°C which is not great when it's so hot out. Shout out to Ericka (server) who was amazing! I had an issue with my room and needed to be moved to a new one and was told the amenity fees etc would be removed and received vouchers for food at the restaurant. When I went to check out the front staff person said she had no idea as the guy I spoke to apparently didn't leave any notes or mention of it. I explained the situation and said I wasn't going to leave without knowing this was dealt with and eventually she removed the fees. Location wise there isn't anything extremely close for food but if you are good walking a few blocks you'll find something. Hollywood Blvd is about 3-4 blocks up the street. The food at the hotel is not so great so I'd recommend looking elsewhere. We also noticed many people enter the pool who were not guests at the hotel (this slipped out of their mouth) so I'm not entirely sure how security isn't around for this when you need a key to enter the pool area. I would stay again just for the rooftop.
- 5/5
Great hotel, pool nice and very convenient to hollywood blvd.
- 5/5
Within walking distance to restaurant and live music venues.
- 2/5
Rarely write reviews. But would not recommend. They do a $150 hold charge per day and say it takes 3-10 business days to be removed. The rooms do not have iron, ironing board or microwave. The rooftop music is really loud and may be a problem if you are sleeping early. It’s a beautiful hotel and was clean in a good location but would not stay again.
- 4/5
I've been staying at the Godfrey for years, but now its getting noisier as there's more late night events occurring, which makes an early night before 11-12pm challenging.
- 3/5
I chose this hotel because it seemed to offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The facilities were pleasant, but the staff's overall attentiveness fell short of expectations. In addition, the rooms are quite small; extra charges are not clearly communicated in advance; water must be requested specifically; and the process for connecting services like Netflix is unclear and not explained beforehand. I believe more genuine attentiveness and care from the staff could have made a meaningful difference.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. hotel was perfect.
- 5/5
I was extremely pleased with our stay at The Godfrey. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was the best we had in LA and priced competitively with surrounding restaurants and the amenities were amazing. I really appreciated being able to enjoy the rooftop without a bunch of people around. The Valet system is top notch. My only con is the room we stayed in, 426, had some weird stains and damage to the ceiling and there were some small maintenance issues they need to address (shower doesn’t fully shut off and the bathroom has some cracks in the walls/wallpaper). All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Hollywood.
- 1/5
Be cautious when booking this hotel. So many high additional fees that the people working at the hotel won’t tell you about and will blame Expedia instead of taking accountability. Obnoxiously rooftop bar makes sleeping hard too. Terrible customer service and will not be returning.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect! Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Clean rooms but shower was only going hot and no in between
- 5/5
I loved the shower pressure😉
- 4/5
Staff was super attentive valet is expensive but expected the room was so tiny there was no space for the suitcase it was a good experience rooftop is pretty

The property is well appointed, the roof amenities are splendid, and the menu is great.
- 5/5
Clean room and staff was wonderful! Really enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
Wonderful trip hotel was great from the staff amenities everything was wonderful the patio room was great!
- 2/5
We were woken by a alarm at 1am, they could not turn it off so they moved us room at 1am. Never received an apology or any type of compensation.
- 5/5
The room was clean and had no bad smells. The bed sheets and towels were changed every day. The room was not very big, but it was comfortable for the two of us. It was a little noisy from the street, but not too bad. The staff was very polite and friendly. We were allowed to check in early without any extra charge. When they offered early check-in, I asked a few times if there would be any additional fees (because I read about this in other reviews), but we were not charged anything extra. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Very clean, pool staff was great, everyone was extremely pleasant
- 5/5
Love this place
- 3/5
Sewer gas smell from vanity sink, handheld shower wand had extremely low pressure
- 4/5
Second time staying here. We had a few issues but the hotel to care of us. We will definitely go back again. Love the rooftop bar
- 2/5
I found the room very loud at night, although I was told it was one of the quietest. I also couldn’t adjust the thermostat so found the room too cold. The additional cost for the Element Lounge Access is not worth it. Mediocre bar snacks and breakfast. Wouldn’t stay again
- 4/5
Clean room. Easy check in.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
The staff was courteous and the dining was excellent
- 1/5
1. The so-called king bed was barely full-sized! 2. The hot water didn't work at all! 3. The water pressure was annoyingly slow. 4. The room was supposed to be for two, but everything was set up for one. 5. I ordered a birthday plate. The picture was beautiful, and I assumed it would be there when we entered the room, but they sent a cheesecake after an hour! As if I had just ordered a regular cheesecake!
- 5/5
Small but immaculate rooms. Superb location. Friendly staff
- 3/5
The room was in good condition. The staff were OK. But the room wasn't great. No wardrobe or storage for clothes other than a rail above the kettle. It's fine for a one-night stopover, but if you have cases, you have to keep them on the floor. On the Sunday, there was a party, somewhere. We were woken at 1 am with the room shaking from the bass. No exaggeration. I think the venue next door had an event.
- 5/5
Perfect location! Staff is friendly and helpful! Beds were very comfortable. Will stay again when visiting Hollywood
- 3/5
Great staff. Ok location. Parking is a ripoff and it’s very noise there. Close to a fire station too
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff were courteous. It would be nice if there was a self park option.
- 3/5
The rooftop was closed the whole time.
- 3/5
The food wasn’t cooked enough his time, there was a problem with the shower, the sink had that rotten egg smell. The rainfall shower was moldy. they didn’t have my breakfast options available. Just a lot of little things
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. Only wish rooftop was open. Closed Sunday, and Mondays
- 5/5
Loved the space!
- 5/5
Clean Room, friendly staff and good restaurants nearby the hotel, so the location is perfect.
- 3/5
The water was horrible barely coming out of the faucet. Hot water was limited. The room was very small, and the food top bar was closed
- 4/5
Overall, the stay was good, but the rooms are extremely small. The upcharge for a balcony with ‘unlimited snacks and beverages’ felt expensive for what was essentially a basic balcony with some chips and soda.
- 2/5
Do not stay on the street side towards the LA Fire Department. You will get no sleep at all. Fire trucks and sirens woke me up all throughout the night.
- 1/5
Stayed here multiple times and each time I get treated like I’m less than. I don’t want anything or an apology just won’t ever stay here again
- 4/5

- 4/5
Nice room
- 5/5
I have stayed here twice and I will stay here again.
- 5/5
All of the above, it was a wonderful stay
- 3/5
Continual entry to the room was a problem. One of the blackout shades was broken. The toilet seat was also broken. The staff was very attentive to your needs.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice. Clean. The only problem was the water did not get hot. The last day it wouldn’t even get warm.
- 5/5
Room was small but otherwise perfectly fine
- 5/5
Room is clean

- 5/5
The staff was great!
- 5/5
Very clean room. Comfy bed. Black out curtains were amazing! Quick and easy walk to Hollywood Palladium for a concert as well as bars/restaurants before and after the show.
- 5/5
Room spotless, staff so friendly, rooftop pool amazing! Would highly recommend!
- 5/5
It was great!
- 5/5
The whole experience was amazing however door dashed a meal and it was stolen
- 4/5
Parking was a pain, if you wanted to pay the extra fee to keep it in valet you could. Rooms were clean, but the walls are thin could hear parties going on.
- 5/5
Great location for me (quieter side of town), and room was very comfortable.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms, great staff. The rooms were a little smaller than I would have liked but it served its purpose.
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean and had space. View was nice, parking was expensive i suggest park in the structure directly across the street. It was $20 for overnight opposed to 69 valet.
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was pleasant, and location was great. Only downside.....hot water was intermittent which was quite a bummer after a long day of sightseeing. Didn't complain due to not wanting to be "that guy". Otherwise, room was nice.
- 2/5
Staff was great, hotel was meh and they had a hot water service scheduled for wed at 6am-9am. The lights were on dimmers so they flickered all night. It could have been bearable but I couldn’t take a hit shower in the am before heading out for meetings, so. Maybe next time.
- 5/5

Our shower was leaking the whole time we were there and no one came to fix until day off checkout. No mirrors or vanity. One mirror only in bathroom.
- 3/5
Parking on site is valet only a $70 a night, but there is good street parking available. The room is very small, king bed non-suite; bed took up all the space. For a resort hotel it did not feel like we stayed in an exceptional place in the room itself.
- 5/5
Loved the service and the room was lovely. location is walkable distance to everything
- 3/5
It was louder than other times we've stayed. We were on the 6th floor and there was a huge party on the 7th, rooftop. Was supposed to end at 9:00 but not really until 9:30 or 10:00 pm. Thank you.
- 5/5
Great location, beautiful clean room. Valet parking is not for everyone but just do it. Worth it.
- 5/5
Great hotel soo much to do near by. Staff were great, rooms were nice.. a bit small but comfortable. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
One think we thought was it like the room was packed for one the coffee machine in room was useless
- 1/5
This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at. They charged nearly $300 per night but the pictures of the hotel were very misleading and I don't think it's worth that price. On top of that, they charged $35 a day for "resort fees." This was no resort. The room was very tiny and I have seen better amenities at $100 night hotels. The food was so overpriced and basic. The bartender had to literally look up the ingredients for drinks in a big book so he didn't know what he was doing. On top of that I went to stay one day at the pool and I was immediately asked to leave because they were having a private party. What the heck? Me a hotel guest who paid resort fees has to leave? Oh and they charge about $70 per night for parking. Do not stay at this hotel. LA has a lot more options.
- 1/5
i will never stay in this hotel ever again. they don't give a damage deposit back and totally ignored my fone calls and emails askingto refund mydeposit. they don't reply at all... I'm so disappointed with the people who's working there....
- 5/5
We took the element option. Worth every penny extra for the free drinks 5-7pm. The roof top pool was amazing. Would definitely return to this hotel in the future
- 5/5
Awesome staff, very clean rooms, rooftop bar was amazing
- 3/5
Amazingly small room. No dresser, no closet 33 x 34” shower. No bathroom countertop. No view nothing close by.. dont waste your time
- 5/5
Great property and staff
- 5/5
Great Location, Friendly staff, walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, attractions..Only downside there is a nightclub across the street very noisy some nights,Also There is a Fire station nearby and we heard sirens quite often during the night...Overall Would recommend this property and I look forward Returning!
- 1/5
Recently stayed one night at The Godfrey Hotel. At 5:00am, the CO2 alarm in our room was going off and would not shut off. I promptly contacted the front desk desk howver, after about 5 rings and no answer, i had to go down to the front lobby to ask if someone would be able to come to my room to disable the alarm. I was informed 'they' wouldn't be in for another 45 minutes!! Terrible customer service. I was told there was nothing they could do. So after 4 hours of sleep, we decided to check out. I will not stay at this hotel again nor will i refer anyone else to stay at this hotel. Things should have been handled differently.
- 3/5
I did not receive a room with the tub that I reserved, and the coffee machine was dificult to figure out. Some fixtures to hang your clothes on werr loose, and the shower head kept leaking...I had to turn it to the point where it was hardcfor me, and might be impossible for someone less strong.
- 5/5
Would definitely recommend
- 3/5
Pool water tasted like salt. Good 3.5 star hotel for adults! I wouldn't suggest kids on weekends bc they can only be in rooftop pool until parties start around 3 pm.
- 5/5
Great experience.

Overall great location. The ALK restaurant is great. Rooftop views are also spectacular.

Nice but small. Clean
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay. Would stay here again without looking elsewhere
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 3/5
The woman at the front desk, perhaps the manager, was incredible cold and mean. She has 0 personality and looks at you like she hates you. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. They should be promoted. Overall it was ok.
- 4/5
It was convenient to hollywood blvd and shops/ restaurants.
- 5/5
Excellent stay. Very quiet and great view from the room.
- 4/5
Great location. Food service in the morning was not the best.
- 5/5
This hotel is such a gem! We attended the grand opening of Blue Note LA and found this hotel right across the street. Rooms on the smaller side, but so cute and cozy. Bed was so comfortable! And staff were generous and friendly.
- 3/5
Overall, the room was small and nothing special, but fine for sleeping. The staff at the front desk never smiled, which I found strange — you are the face of the hotel and should be welcoming. Housekeeping was always done on time, which was a big plus. One major disappointment for me was that I specifically chose this hotel because I was looking for a young, party vibe at the pool. I had been waiting all week for the party, but there wasn’t even one on Friday. It turned out the pool parties only happen on Saturdays — the day we were checking out. When I asked at the front desk if we could stay by the pool until the evening after checking out (our flight was late at night), they told us we could only stay until the party started — which meant 3 PM. That was really disappointing, and unfortunately it left me with a not-so-great impression of the hotel.
- 5/5
Great stay, perfectly clean room and bathroom, quiet, front desk staff was relatively professional. They don’t know about Expedia VIP perks apparently. Rooftop bar was great, nice staff and good food!
- 2/5
Disappointed that a as advertised patio room had no patio ! Staff on reception when I checked in didn’t care and were quite rude and disrespectful along with dismissive with my questions. I was offered completely resort fee but it never was removed from my bill
- 4/5
$63 a day ($75 with tax & tip) felt excessive for parking, even for LA. A slightly higher room rate and a lower parking rate would probably help to keep customers from feeling gouged.

beds were very comfortable and there was a good amount of food options. staff were also friendly and ready to help if you had questions.

The hotel and rooms are fairly nice. It’s small but a comfy place to stay for the night. They offer valet and staff was super friendly/helpful. I would stay here again and recommend to others.
- 4/5
Safe area, walkable to main Hollywood attractions. Rooms are quite small, make sure to have carry on only as there is limited storage space.

I didn't like their was no microwave available in the entire building

Good!

Property location was great, however they could have free parking.

Johnathan was extremely nice!

I will recommend to family & friends.

Very Clean . Monica front desk was great !
- 5/5
Front test gentleman that checked us in was quick and accurate, valet was kind. However didn’t have the best experience on the rooftop with bartenders

Basically this hotel was just wrong for us. This place is very HIP and very Hollywood and will work for those who enjoy this sort of energy. Unfortunately we are not well suited for this space. I Hope this helps.

Walking distance to hwalk of fame
- 5/5
It was good
- 5/5
Location was perfect and the rooms were clean. The rooftop had an excellent pool area with great views of LA.
- 5/5
Unique hotel loved my stay
- 5/5
Great place with very attentive and friendly staff. The hotel itself looks brand new.
- 4/5
Staff were nice, room was ok, breakfast was very good. There was a fashion show and a club on the pool deck which prevented us from using the pool both days we were there. Bot otherwise a good hotel and would stay there again next time I’m in the area.
- 5/5
Great location , friendly staff, beautiful roof top. Walking distance to everything. I would recommend. Rooms are a little small, but other than that very happy
- 4/5
Great place. Great staff. Parties on the roof are cool if that is what you are looking for, if not, the bass from the DJ travels through the building on weekend evenings. It was quiet over the weekdays. All depends on what you are looking for.

great hotel

Our room on the 4th floor was stylish and clean, though a bit compact, which is worth noting if you're traveling with more luggage or staying for multiple nights. The valet parking is $60 per night, which feels steep, but it does include in-and-out privileges. Given the area and safety concerns around street parking, it’s really one of the few viable options. The hotel is definitely on the lively side, especially in the evenings with activity around the rooftop and lobby. Thankfully, noise inside the room died down after 10pm, so sleeping at night wasn’t an issue — at least until the next morning, when we were woken at 6am by roadworks just outside. The windows aren’t fully soundproof, which made the early noise unavoidable. Despite these issues, The Godfrey still offers a fun, well-located stay with a lot of style. It’s a solid pick if you're okay with some city noise and want to be in the heart of the action.

Guest services takes a while , services was pricey. Need to pay for everything.
- 4/5
Everything was great except the walls are very thin and I had problems falling asleep due to the noise in the neighboring room and the halls. It wasn’t that the other guests were being particularly loud but having several people talking in next room was loud given the thin walls. The hotel did provide earplugs in the room so it seems they are aware of the issue.
- 3/5
This place is highly overrated, I found hair in the sink meaning it’s not cleaned well.. do not stay here
- 2/5
This Hotel charged me for using the Valet service after assuring me I would not be charged. After complaining about the charge I was still not reimbursed because the person did not know how and was not willing to fix the charge. Very dissapointing customer servive they have at this hotel. Hotel curtains fell off in the bathroom and could not use it until maintenance showed up 5 hours after calling. Not a good experience here.
- 3/5
The rooms are TINY. No dresser, no closets, no seating. The AC is at the entryway and you cannot even feel it at the bed. Windows don't open so there is no airflow. VERY hot and muggy in the room.

Had a wonderful time here! Great location near Universal Studios (10 min away). Clean room. Convenient with restaurant and bar. We were able to extend our checkout and store our luggage after checkout for our late flight. Note: they had pool party/private events in the afternoon/evening. Plan your pool time before the afternoon. Non-hotel guests (21+) come and it’s more crowded

Walkable to different restaurants and parking structures

The Godfrey added a nightly charge of $40.67 per below 06-19-25 Amenity Fee 35.00 06-19-25 Amenity Fee Tax 16.2% 5.67 This was said to be for some 'discount cards' for drinks IF you had DINNER there. (Not just a drink - i.e. useless if you did not eat dinner there) and other unused amenities like the swimming pool and clean sheets. They did discount 2 days (of 7 nights) which suggest this was a bit of a scam. I should have held up the checkout line and discussed this with them some more. So much for 'We include FEES and taxes'. Expedia . . . If you would have them reimburse that, it would be great. :-) even if their website does show it . . . if you go there. It's still a semi-undisclosed FEE. Find under Rooms|Amenities . . . quite hidden. As a hotel, it was good. The unexpected and questionable charge should take 3 stars off!!! They have w/e parties on the roof top bar which can be noisy. The Sat one we were there was cancelled - probably because of the threat from ICE. LA in general was eerily quiet.

Good food. Good room.
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
Hotel was beautiful however front desk staff needs to make certain that guests facing a club next door are moved to quieter area of hotel. Responsibility should not be up to guests to call late at night or early am for a new room. Very little sleep that one night and compensation was only for several amenities extended and those I had to press for them, . Happy to discuss,

Everything was done with class. The location is key.

Not a 4-star experience

Water ran all night. Rooms had no closet but a place to gang your clothes.

Loved our stay at the Godfrey! The hotel was lovely; rooftop pool, lots of places to relax outdoors on the rooftop and the gym was very nice as well. The room is small but very nicely appointed. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
such a nice hotel - bed was very comfortable and shower was really nice. Area was good too. All the locals/ubers said we are staying in a very nice hotel
- 4/5
We enjoyed our two night stay. Our room was small but well appointed. The neighborhood is very walkable which is a huge plus. The couple of things I did not like was having to submit a photo of my driver license prior to checking in (this was done online). I also paid the incidental hold online. When I arrived at the hotel, the young lady was going to charge me an add'l incidental hold. I asked her "what was the point of me doing all this online if I was going to have do it all over again here?" She didn't answer me, at all. She just proceeded to check me in without answering my question or even acknowledging that I'd asked a question. Kinda rude but I'd probably still stay here again.

Not so good experience! The rooms are terribly small. A family of 3/4 would be extremely uncomfortable with bags etc. No closet it’s literally an open section with hangers over your refrigerator. We were made aware of an event happening 2 hrs prior that lasted for hours with loud music so we couldn’t sleep. When I spoke to the front desk agent about my concerns she stared at me and lacked empathy/customer service skills. If you are not staying on the 2nd floor you can’t access the outdoor courtyard. If it wasn’t for the assistance from a new agent when we checked out who was more empathetic and understanding I would have given this experience 1 star. I appreciated his help.

The rooms and the service was great
- 5/5
Great hotel and location, the breakfast was great and the happy hour bar was even better! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was so modern and clean with really comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again if we visit LA.
- 5/5
Overall and all around a fantastic stay.
- 3/5
Room extremely small, should accommodate 4 people, no idea how. No information or communication about complimentary breakfast or snacks and drinks that where included with my exprdia booking
- 2/5
There was a $5 tip left there by previous occupant and a dirty towell on bathroom floor.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpfull. However would be better if abit more storage space in our Room and you have to walk a fair distance just to get to Walk of fame. Overall good place to stay we both enjoyed LA.
- 5/5
Maybe front desk staff will be more friendly, at least a little smile will make a guest more welcoming.
- 5/5
Rooms were modern and clean. Rooftop bar, pool, lounge area was great for work and play. Staff was great
- 4/5
The area felt a little rough but was in walking distance to Walk of Fame and so many attractions. We could hear loud music until very late on Saturday night.
- 3/5
Was ok
- 5/5
Great hip spot in a terrific neighborhood!
- 5/5
Love the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and very unique hotel. Great location and beautiful view especially from the pool area. Would definitely stay there again. The rooms are small, but very quaint and perfect for our needs.
- 5/5
In a good area to walk around and tourist around
- 4/5
A Very nice hotel. HOWEVER, not ONE single staff member, be it at the reception or house keeping can actually smile! They are in the hospitality business after all! Sulky faces, mean stares, and curt short answers do NOT make a good hotel.
- 5/5
!!Walk to Hollywood Blvd is easy. The hotel area itself is very clean and well cared for just be prepared to take the walk down the dirty streets of LA towards Hollywood Blvd
- 4/5
I liked the location; the option to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner there; that staff were in most instances friendly and accommodating. I didn’t like that my sixth floor room, which had a great view, was below where a very loud band played non-stop until just before 2 in the morning; that I had to call from the airport to get an incorrect parking charge that was added after I checked out removed from my bill and refunded.
- 3/5
There’s no parking available except valet at $60/night. Our hotel room was tiny reminded me NYC and smelled so bad in the bathroom drain and the whole room smelled the same. The view from the pool was nice though not kid friendly. I wouldn’t go back.
- 4/5
The hotel was perfect! But the only thing is, I don’t think you should be charged to check in early.

Lost my laptop in my car with valet
