With the name Budget in the name, my expectations were low. It was clean and all that I was looking for was a place to crash overnight that was clean and safe. It met my needs.

Bath tubs are always a plus for me living with back pain on a daily basis. Nothing like a hot warm bath to relax in I guess the loud traffic coming from the interstate. Not much you cab do about that. And folks you can really appreciate this known fact.....NO BED BUGS. GREAT JOB MGR.

This place is a dump, I'm surprised Expedia has it on its listing. You don't leave enough space for me to list everything wrong with this facility

Old school place. Staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.

No wash cloths in room, no maid service, one small bathroom garbage can-only 1 in room, beds & box springs need 2 b replaced, room was dirty & FILTHY! Toilet, counters, desk, all filthy. Inadequate power sources, not nearly enuf plugins. Internet unreliable, unable 2 watch any tv w/o interruptions or pauses. Lighting in room, maybe 1/2 worked & dirty. Bathroom was DISGUSTING, paint chipping off walls& shower, bathtub handles mismatched & leaked. People & what seemed 2 b permanent residents RUDE!! Pet walk area full of sticker weeds that lodge into dogs feet& full of dog poop that people never picked up, yes even fresh poop! Poorly lit @ nite & felt unsafe. Carpet in room uneven & stunk, needs replaced. Owner lady was really nice but accommodations were not!! Would never stay again nor recommend it. Other occupants with dogs let them bark all nite. Called office about barking about 10:30pm, got no response but left msg. Towels & hand towels provided 4 2 days was 3 of each, thin & small. Mirror was smeared, unable 2 use. Ice bucket had no protective liner. Fridge ice box completely frozen & unable 2 use. Curtains would not close completely. Full of ACTIVE flies!! Could b a GREAT place with some $ invested into it.
- 5/5
Very clean! Lots of shampoo provided! Loved the king bed COZY COZY for the dogs and I.
- 2/5
The main office smelled badly of smoke and so did yhe non smoking rooms. Locks on doors would not close as the door was not aligned with the door jam.

Had the bugs really bad..! Illegal‘s.
- 1/5
The room was very hot and the air conditioner didn't work.
- 1/5
This property was disgusting, not sure but possibly drug sex trafficking going on. I reserved 3 nights and left early after the first night. Shower and bathroom were absolutely filthy. Slept in our clothes. This building needs to be demolished!! I would have liked a refund but was just glad to leave
- 4/5
It’s older but fine. Good budget choice for us for a rodeo weekend. But we don’t hang out in a hotel room. Nice couple that runs it. Old school
- 4/5
The staff is amazing only thing I didn't like was that the room had t been thoroughly. Leaned for quite awhile as evidenced by the fuzz balls behind refrigerator, behind dresser and in between furniture and walls was highly visible.
- 1/5
I hate to give this place a bad review because the owner is very nice and accommodating, but I have no idea how she stays in business with the condition of this place. I could go into details, but instead, I will just urge the reader to find anywhere else to stay. The backseat of your car and a truck stop bathroom would be an improvement.
- 1/5
Seriously outdated! There were roachs in my room! Left a day early.
- 4/5
While the motel is aged I enjoyed my time there. The owners Carol and Leonard and their staff are very nice . If you need anything they are right there. I felt very safe while staying there, it is next to a truck stop on a frontage road. Johnston truck stop has a diner and they have excellent food and make huge fresh donuts every morning. I will definitely stay again
- 5/5
Comfortable
- 5/5
Place for my dogs To Be dogs. The bed was comfortable. I will stay here again.
- 3/5
Not a bad place. Just very run down and out of date. I recommend bringing your own towels, pillows, and blankets. Don’t waste your time going to the truck stop next door for the recommendation of breakfast.
- 1/5
There was nothing good about it at all except the office lady got me a ground floor room as i have a disabled son who could not do the stairs
- 5/5
The gal running this is incredible! We fell in love with her! The best part of our stay. Clean, organized.
- 2/5
Worst hotel on our trip . Head boards not attached make a right noise . Room dirty etc . I left a note to explain . They never contacted me . So leaving review . We have photos if you want them .
- 1/5
Absolutely a dive and nothing worked in the room and switches kept tripping. This is a dangerous place. Mold, rust, filth, spider webs. This is not for even for a trucker
- 5/5
Definitely still the same older building but with the little updates inside. Loved the vibes. It was quiet clean & Definitely affordable. Loved the night audit. She was super friendly. Would recommend. May not have a pool, but its still cozy for sure. Especially for families.
- 5/5
Owners were extremely nice. Will stay again.
- 4/5
Clean, convenient; just showing signs of age.
- 3/5
This older motel needed some maintenance, and the grounds needed attention, cigarette butts all over. BUT, the room we had was neat, and very clean. The staff were very nice and attentive.
- 1/5
it was 4th of July week and this was all we could afford because of the rate hike for a holiday. I would never stay here again.
- 2/5
Dirty room that could not be deadbolted. Broken wifi with numerous false hot spots. Soda machine charged $6.20 for one $1.75 drink.
- 5/5
It was a great location for us. The road construction was a pain but that was not their fault. It is an older Motel and could use some updating, But every thing worked well and it was clean. The price was good. Great hosts.
- 3/5
The internet didn't work, and I daw what looked like a roach one morning. Other than that it was OK.
- 3/5
Pricing was good, close to restaurant, WiFi not working
- 1/5
Nothing
- 4/5
The location was very close to our venue. The shower leaked quite a bit, but I could still take comfortable showers.
- 4/5
A great owner, very helpful and kind. Over all it was a pleasant stay. Overall it was quite and easy to access. Everything was as advertised.
- 5/5
Carol and Leonard are very friendly and they genuinely care about you. The whole facility needs updated, but its safe, quiet and a cozy place to rest your head.
- 5/5
Carol and her staff were amazing. The property is old but, it is well taken care of and you feel safe.
- 2/5
One of the worst motels I have stayed at. The place was really rundown. For example, the AC did not blow very cold. Also, the room didn't appear to be fully cleaned.
- 3/5
Staff was wonderful! It is very close to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Unfortunately the motel itself was incredibly dirty. You wouldn't dare walk on the floor with bare feet. Another good thing about the motel is that they allow pets.
- 3/5
Property was very out dated Previous trash left in fridge I worked for what I needed a place to sleep and shower
- 4/5
Cute roadside motel, very convenient when I needed a last minute place to spend the night.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, attention to details.
- 3/5
This property is old and a little run down, but still in decent condition. The room I stayed in had clearly been updated recently with fresh paint and laminate wood flooring and nice bedding. I felt safe there and slept well. My only complaint was that the room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly - especially the bathroom.
- 1/5
I would never stay there again it was pretty run down, the check-in office smelled so smokey my cloth and hair smelled like that after leaving that office, no internet, TV was not working the box was replaced and then was working for a little while. Mold in the bathroom, i was told it's a budge Motel so its not the usual standard but i stayed in Motels before and they were nothing like this one, I'm surprised that Hotel.com has it even listed. I don't usually complain and if i have nothing nice to say i don'' comment at all. I didn't feel comfortable to even lay in the bed, to pay $90 some dollars for this place was ridiculous. I seen a few comments that gave it a 10 rating I'm not sure that they are honest or sarcastic might be family leaving those 10 ratings because its nothing like that.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms. A little run down, but its an old hotel. Front desk and housekeeping staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
The door lock was very difficult to open, and I had to use it with some difficulty to open the door.
- 5/5
These folks are running a great, affordable motel close to lots of fun stuff to do in the area. They are kind and considerate, staff is wonderful and even left snacks for my son.
- 2/5
Can become very rude suddenly. Would not recommend this place
- 1/5
I would not recommend this place to anybody
- 1/5
The furnitures inside were filthy. There was a fly inside my room. Toilet did not flush.
- 1/5
At 10:00 pm a dog left in the room next to mine began to howl. The dog howled constantly throughout the night. The hotel office closes at like 9 and there was absolutely no way to contact the management. I had hotels.com unsuccessfully try as well. The noise was so bad I ended up sleeping in my car. The hotel management, next day, could not care less. Hotels.com was worthless and refused to support me. If everything goes right at this hotel you’re in an old, run down, dirty place in a sketchy neighborhood. If anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. Pay a few dollars more and get a minimally acceptable place to sleep.
- 1/5
The protective mattress cover under the sheet carried fresh stains of every possible body fluid and looked like they’d never been cleaned. This is the absolute dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen and ludicrously over priced.
- 4/5
I like the fact they don't charge my card or hold cash for a deposit.
- 5/5
This property was easy to grt in
- 1/5
This place was extremely dirty. We wiped surfaces down with Lysol wipes. Floor hadn’t been vacuumed in about a year and I am not exaggerating. Dust was thick. Wouldn’t even let my animals stay at this place. I don’t know how they can even stay open how dirty it was. Toilet seat broke. Paper stuffed in a hole above shower. 1970 decor. Pink sink and turquoise tiles. I can’t believe the state hasn’t shut this place down especially with Covid. Truck drivers so We stayed here because we were waiting to pick up a load late the next day and wanted to relax and it was buy the truck stop. Worst decision of our lives. So we ended up just staying in our truck. Wish I could get my money back.
- 5/5
It was a real nice stay
- 4/5
Check in was easy w front desk staff. Very nice
- 5/5
I stayed four nights and there was a reasonable rate. There were plenty of vacancies. The location is close to the Centerra stores. My room was on the second floor. Iwould stay there again.

When I got to the hotel I was exhausted &tired,

- 4/5
Very helpful and understanding front desk. My wife was acutely ill with flu during this stay and they minimized interruptions which helped her get needed sleep. It was also quiet and clean.
- 5/5
This motel has a lot of character. It isn’t brand new but I love the laidback feel of it. It isn’t the same old chain motel that I usually end up staying at. The couple that manages the property have been more than accommodating. And it really is a pet friendly place to stay.
- 1/5
Woman at the front Desk super nice but the room was smelly the bathroom was disgusting we were taking a shower in our flip flops and the beds very uncomfortable
- 4/5
Very clean. Location great right off the highway. Room we stayed in very clean and good smell 👌
- 1/5
Thumbs down. 👎
- 5/5
That rims come see an Old Fashioned comfortlsble roomyyyu
- 4/5
For the price it was fine. The staff was nice and the bed comfy. Close to places to eat and get gas. Nice tv. Very basic but just what I needed.
- 2/5
Expedia failed to inform us that check in closes at 11, unless the client makes arrangements with management to be later. I booked my room at 11:45 P.M. Could not raise anyone at hotel for check in. Neither could Expedia. Ended up, dealing with this lack of communication at the cost of 2.5 hours (with a baby), and a room that was 40 dollars more. We were reinberst, but the only form of any compensation we were offered was a 20 dollar break by the night clerk at Quality Inn on highway 34, Loveland co. A nice, quiet, clean, hotel. I thank them for their professionalism and kindness.
- 4/5
The service was great! It was clean and neat, but it is an older motel and needs some TLC. Would have liked a coffee pot in the room, but there was coffee in the office.
- 1/5
Room was horrible. Carpet was torn up, duct tape on threshold Between room and bathroom. Tv do not work, curtains not hung properly on window and were filthy. Door was filthy. I rejected room and they would not credit me any of the two days, would not provide name and phone number of owner
- 2/5
I am sure several decades ago this little hotel was a nice little Ma and Pa business. Had trouble understanding the manager's English, did not dare to walk on the carpet without your boots, and a bush is growing out of the swimming pool. Pride in this facility has long left the area.
- 3/5
It was convenient for me on my trip. For an older hotel it was in OK shape.
- 1/5
Room was tolerable but Carpet was Filthy my feet were black after walking on it. 1st day had no hot water for Shower. I only stayed because I didn't have time to get another room. Bed sloped to one side and was never made or sheets changed.
- 1/5
I couldnt check in at all. I reserved a room and paid online. Got email confirmation saying it guarentee my keys and room on late arrival and office was closed. No one would answer the phone.still waiting on refund!
- 2/5
Worst hotel experience EVER!! There were bed bugs and the manager was so incredibly rude!
- 4/5
The only drawback to the hotel is that it's old. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean, but there were no places to plug in phones or electronics. Decore was pretty outdated. The truck stop up the hill served amazing food and it was really nice to be able to get gas so close. I would book again if I needed an inexpensive place to stay.
- 1/5
I booked the hotel using Hotels.com, and they weren't even open!!! I called and nobody answered!!! Hotels.com said check-in was good till 5 am. I had to sleep in my car, and they charged me!!!
- 5/5
The room was quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was great with a truck stop right next door that was clean and well stocked with everything you could need for traveling.
- 2/5
The reservation was for a room with one bed. They didn’t have a room on the ground floor because my husband can’t climb stairs. They charged us extra for the room we got which had 2 beds. I don’t think we should hav had to pay extra for their mistakes. We will never stay there again
- 3/5
Other then the bed being hard and the toilet not flushing right it was a nice stay.
- 3/5
No signal for tv. Outlets are fire hazzards. Water didnt drain in sunk or tub.
- 1/5
Horrible service blamed me for somthing that was already broken the room I was given was literally under construction with tools in it!!
- 1/5
Uncomfortable furniture, poor lighting, and mold made the room questionable at best. The decrepit playground equipment and pool outside were terrifying. Bathroom ceiling was sagging with mold exposed. Bathtub had mold growing in the bottom. Bar of soap from previous guest was still in the tub. Do not pay more than $30 per night.
- 5/5
Awesome reminds me of traveling when i was a kid
- 3/5
The room was good size but the windows were busted the heater didnt work couldnt take a bath because the drain stop was broke found a napkin and a fake eyelashes in the bed under the pillow and it was kinda out of the way of the town
- 3/5
Wi-Fi did not work in the room so had to go to the office to use my IPad. Upon arrival the TV would not work. The manager fixed it as soon as I told him. Very pleased with the manager. Maid did not leave cups or Kleenex when we ran out.
- 1/5
everything was good til I saw bed bugs and they didn't want to give me a refund
- 1/5
Did not stay. No one at desk to check in thank god.
- 1/5
fleabag dump with devious manager. Would not have booked except for solar eclipse. Manager tried to extort more money when we arrived by saying that our confirmed reservation had been cancelled by him that morning at 9AM, before the 3PM check in time.
- 1/5
Made my reservation got to hotel to check in I had reserved a room with 2 double beds they only had a king size manager had given our room away. Had to drive all the way home which was 5 hours because of the eclipse there where no rooms available
- 2/5
How about some new carpet. The room was clean but the carpet was disgraceful. There is no pride of ownership here.
- 3/5
I am not dissing the motel, although it could use some freshening up and pest man visits, but it is a typical "lower end,-not going to get hassled -everyone doing their own business" motel. For maybe $45 a night. NOT dang near $90. No food, no amenities, wifi out the whole stay, NO FRILLS. VERY nice and friendly front desk man, owner perhaps? But for the price, go with name brand for sure . Hotels.com fail, not the motels.
- 1/5
I've stayed in a lot of motels and this has got to be the worst. The floor looked like it had never been cleaned. The Furniture was dented and scratched all over and needs to be replaced, it was filthy! . The hotel sits out pretty much by itself. It's at least five miles to Loveland. the only good thing about it was staff was nice. This Motel looked like something from the 30s.
- 1/5
TV kept turning off. realized it was because they had power strips all over the run plugging in 3-4 appliances. Didn't dare sleep in the bed. Slept on top of it. Bed was harder than the ground would have been if I had a tent. For a hundred bucks it was a dump. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone and I would recommend to you to take it off your site. The pool didn't even have water in it yet. The front office smelled like butt. Couldn't understand the manager. English speaking would have been nice. I wouldn't even recommend this for a cockroach to stay in.
