If this is a two star hotel I’m the king of England! I can honestly say this is the worst hotel experience I’ve had in my almost 60 years on this planet. And I’ve stayed in hostels all over Europe. If you know, you know. Now, I just needed a room for two nights while I was in the area for a golf tournament. I usually say I just need clean sheets, towels, and a hot shower. This place took that to the extreme! The sheets and towels were clean and the shower was hot but the room was absolutely filthy! Dust and cobwebs everywhere. It looked like someone rubbed their dirty feet all over the walls and worse still someone clearly picked their nose repeatedly and wiped it on the walls! Absolutely disgusting. The walls are paper thin and the couple in the adjoining room were loud all might and while my room was a nonsmoking room you couldn’t tell because of the cigarette smoke coming from their room. I really had a difficult time going back to the room for the second night. This was literally just a step up from sleeping in my car. But at the end of the day, the old adage is true, generally you get what you pay for. It’s graduation season so rooms were going for $300+ so I thought I was getting a deal staying a little further outside the city and paying $85/night. Stay their at your own risk, you have been warned.

The room was very dirty and gross. There were dead bugs, stains all over the bedding, dust and dirt. The bathroom absolutely reeked and the toilet sprayed water everywhere.

The motel had a basic room and bath with TV, phone, microwave and one bed side stand. There is no chair in the room. The heating unit was quiet when the fan was set to low. Did not use A/C. The bed seemed small for a Queen. The toilet seat was extremely loose and could not be tightened because hardware was rusted. TV picture quality was poor on many channels. Lack of a chair.

The staff were very nice but the place feels gross. Dirty walls. Cigarette-burned comforter. A coat of paint would do wonders to this place. Water pressure was good.

This place was absolutely horrible. I’m very sorry I made this reservation. I am requesting a refund at this point and they told me they would get back with me in 24 to 78 hours. You should absolutely take this motel off of Expedia, it’s a horrible place and I could not spend the night there it looked dangerous, dirty, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Very unhappy with this reservation.

The room was new and up to date. But the cleanliness of the room was very lacking. The bed spread and blanket looked to have many spill or liquid spots on them, it was very dusty and the floor way dirty. The area outside of the room was cluttered with boxes, vaccums and a grill.

After check in we left immediately. Dirty, scary, homeless people in the corridors. Felt very unsafe.

The people were very nice but it’s an old hotel that needs a lot and I mean a lot of TLC…no coffee pot, no iron/ board…beds and sheets/ covers were good…hard floors if you like em…I prefer carpet… they do have a bathroom exhaust fan! Those are disappearing for whatever sinister reason. A/C was typically loud…traffic=loud.

A small dead roach waited for us in front of the toilet in the bathroom. No chain for the door to secure it. Walls were dirty. The toilet looked like it was from the 1940s, but there was a newer stone sink and tiles in the shower/tub area. Water pressure was horrid. No iron. Overpriced. The pool looked like it had not been filled with water or used in years. Sheets and towels are clean, but worn and stained. The small refrigerator was new, and the microwave was dirty. The flooring was nice. This motel should not be part of Hotels.com- it is a definite no.

They refuse to honor the chicken time at 4:00 a.m. be able to charge another $90. Then one of the other patrons got high and thought I was somebody else ended up having to have the state police and SWAT team out there it was really enjoyable, I am being very sarcastic. In addition, the AC didn't work and they wouldn't put us in another room and they had plenty but he said just keep pushing the , just keep pushing the button.

The room was not cleaned. All the bedding was filthy, toilet had not been cleaned, mirrors and tv screen had fingerprints all over them, all the baseboard were caked with dirt, floors were filthy. We didn’t sleep well at all. The heat would not stay regulated. We were up multiple times turning it up or down. We don’t feel the lock on the door was safe enough. We smelled pot during the night and heard dogs barking and people snoring. All in all a terrible stay.

The appearance of the room looked clean, however we tried to run a bath and we could not get the tub to fill. When packing up to leave we noticed a there was a roach in the side table. Nice staff though. Looks like they may be remodeling some of the rooms.

The fact that i cant get my money back and im stuck here for the night is an outrage. The floor in the room is broken up and needs to be replaced. I cant even walk around without shoes on. The walls are filthy. Theres only god knows what smeered everywhere. The refrigerator is covered in rust. The bathroom. The bathroom is just scary. Ive lost faith in expedia. The check in process took Forever and the man behind the desk appeared to have just awoken from a slumber. He kept sniffling and coughing, moved like a sloth, and made me feel like I had made a mistake with the reservation as he kept looking at his screen and making faces. The refrigerator was nasty and did not work. It smelled terrible. Our toilet would not flush and our door did not have a chain lock. Oh and there is no such thing as a complimentary continental breakfast….not even coffee. Do not stay here.

The advertising for this property was false. The room was old and run down. It wasn't the cleanest. The area felt very unsafe.

I liked that is was close to where we would be. It was rundown, dirty, and smelled. The maids made our beds took our towels but didn't leave fresh ones. The towels there were discolored, the bedding was stained, paint was peeling, and the bathroom smelled like sewage. The beds were so hard I couldnt walk the next day. The curtains wouldn't close and the exterior was beat up and run down. Definitely won't be back.

Well first they false advertisement about they having breakfast they don't have breakfast is no coffee it's no coffee makers in the room like I'm like but they advertisers on the website that these the things they have the conditions of the room was horrible it was bugs everywhere and the next day that we woke up it was Saturday it's police everywhere things taped all people having shootings there somebody almost got killed it was crazy when I mean isn't a horrible condition the place was beat down old castle that's not working no more it could be to the homeless people but they still want to rent out rooms and stuff like that like crazy.

The inside the room is disgusting. I walked from the bed to the bathroom to shower and got a piece of glass stuck in my foot when I got into the bathroom I shut the door behind me and somebody’s dirty pajama pants that previously stayed they were hanging in the back of the Door. The bathroom looked crusty. There was dead bugs all over the corners on the creases of the room.

They say they have breakfast but they do not. They say they have a pool but the pool looks like it has not been in operation for years. My room had mold on the walls and the bed spread looked like it had not been washed. We ended up leaving and going to another hotel. You all need to take this hotel off your website. I swear the bed had bed bugs. I did not get in it or on it because I was scared.

Towels were stained, ask for clean towels, received. Bed was great, remodeled room could have been cleaned. Bedding was not exchanged after each guest. Sheets were cleaned and pressed. I used my wipes to clean over most I might touch.

I am working on an up and coming cleaning business and this place can really use a deep cleaning.I offered my services but they declined. The staff was very nice and friendly so my problem is not with them they switched me to another room. That room was actually worst than the first but I didnt want to be a complicated guest and it was only for a few hours I went and brought my own lining because theirs had stains on them and the toilet leaked all night upon many other thing that were wrong but more than like I would not go back there again.

The staff were nice enough but the hotel was in horrible condition. The pictures displayed on their site and on Expedia are not accurate. The outside of the hotel is a disaster. The pool is empty and in need of serious repairs. As far as the rooms, the linens are old and extremely worn. The walls and floor are dirty. The bathroom has a horrible smell when you run the water. Although, a complimentary continental breakfast is advertised, it is non-existent. Finally, due to the unacceptable conditions of the hotel, the cost to stay there was ridiculous.

My family and I came to Lyncburg for a graduation. This was the only place that was not totally booked. Sadly, the only thing that I like is the price. The towels were dirty, bathroom was dirty, and the bathroom walls and doors were really nasty. First and last time staying in this dump for us.

My husband and I stayed here for our stay in the Lynchburg area. I think this hotel has potential to be a decent place to stay. However there is definite room for improvement! Bathrooms need ATTENTION. There was also a moist feel in the room, along with something that smelled wet. The toilet leaked and the tub clogged. The bed was comfortable and much appreciated after traveling.

The Staff was nice and hospitable, and some attempted at modern decor was appreciated. But the workmanship of the finishes was bad. Holes in walls around pipes. Water spots and corrosion on plumbing. The room we were given has cigarette burns all over the comforters on both beds. The walls were very dirty as well as the furniture, & refrigerator. I found someone elses pills on a computer chair & when we asked for extra towels because we were only given 1 towel set for 3 people, they told us they had none they were all dirty. Super gross.

The room was clean and updated. The exterior of the hotel needs updating and there was not breakfast as stated on hotels.com. I would recommend it thou for a cheap place to stay.

This property was old, poorly maintained, and just overall an experience that was over priced for what I paid. The entire region is over priced, so I can't fault them for being one of the lowest in the region. But I would put the property under immense renovations and they need to put a lot into improving the property. Unless they update it, this will always be a poor experience.

The beds where hard

I did not enjoy the tall slender male host. He seemed very uptight and not friendly at all. but once his wife took over my reservation things were processed a lot fast, easier and she was very professional. Also, I didn't like the fact that no breakfast is offered or coffee and no Keurig is available in rooms either.

The Staff was very accommodating and friendly. No Continental Breakfast - No hair dryer - bare basics. Bed was made, but looked as if crumbs had fallen across top.

For the price, I was impressed. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from those at the desk to the housekeeping staff. I felt safe when outside the room, and although there wasn't much within walking distance of the hotel, there was a Walmart about 10 minutes up the road and several restaurants within about 15-20 minutes.

The room was dusty and the floor dirty, the door did not have a chain or bolt lock.

I seemed to be in a section that was getting renovated, but not quite done. The lighting was poor.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The rooms are small and smelly. There is no food offered. There are no activities in walking distance. There was a septic issue all of the day I was there and so I couldn't flush, wash my hands, or take a shower until Saturday morning. Oh, and when I did go to take a shower, the water initially came out brown and I had to let it run itself out, and there was no shampoo or a hair dryer. The only good thing was the heat was working over time.

I stayed a weekend with my 2 kids. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice. Tge only issue I ran into was the bathroom constantly smelled of cigarettes becaue although i was staying in a non smoking room the smoking rokms were on the back side of the building. It wont stop me from staying agaun and i plan to soon.

I liked the night auditor when I complained about the room being dirty and the bed linen looked like it wasn’t changed, he tried to switch me around to different room and they replaced the fridge in my room cause my fridge wasn’t working.

This hotel was unsafe and shady as could be. The parking lot and exterior was extremely rundown, there were broken down vehicles in the parking lot, and the entire property was dilapidated and not maintained. The front office was fully enclosed in plexiglass and the double doorway breezeway was locked and blocked to the public so you could only enter the breezeway. When we arrived there was a gentleman who appeared to be a homeless drug addict loitering in the doorway being ignored by the only person working who didn't make eye contact with anyone. While I waited I was approached by someone in a vehicle that was continually leaving and coming back, seemingly casing out the parking lot. We never checked in, deciding it was completely unsafe. We opted to drive all night back home rather than stay in this hotel that was already paid for. I still standby that that was the only safe decision. This hotel is where you would go to be robbed, assaulted, or worse. Avoid this hotel.

The condition of the place is horrible. It was dirty, we asked for a non smoking room and thats not what we got. The room reaked of smoke. The toilet was like one from a public restroom and gross. The room wasnt carpeted, which is fine but it just made the dirt stand out more. The ac wasnt working so the room was beyond miserable. Not a safe place to stay, very sketchy people walking around, drugs. There were burn holes in the blankets and the sheets were extremely rough. Like, i slide my arm under the pillow and got a rub burn on my elbow. Dont stay here. Go further down and find a better hotel

The property looked nothing like the pictures there was no continental breakfast offered and if it was i wouldn't have eaten it. The bedding was dinghy towels were stained there was a hole in the wall we couldn't set air temperature because there was no knob it had been removed. The place gave me trap house vibes. I will never book here you definitely get what you pay for. It was convenient to the field where my daughter had her softball tournaments and thats the ONLY plus. One more major flaw our toilet kept stopping up!!

Thermostat on heat pump was broken, so I had to keep getting up to turn heat off and on to regulate temperature in room.

They have bed bugs I didn’t stay my full day’s there due to that and they didn’t even give me a refund back for the day’s I didn’t stay. I told them that it was bed bugs in there and I even showed them that I caught one he talking about he don’t know where it came from. Do not stay here.

Upon Check In, desk receptionist was rude. Reserved a King Smoking room. He gave me a Double Non-Smoking. Went back to front desk, he said its what I reserved. When I pulled my reservation up, he changed his mind. Gave me a Queen smoking, telling me there was no Kings available and for me to make do. Highly Unacceptable!!! The room reeked of an awful smell, not smoke. The bed and chair as plenty of stains. The pillow cases and towels had nats sitting on them. The nightstand drawer was broken. The mirror hadnt been cleaned. And its still urine in the toilet. Overall, awful experience. Receptionist wouldnt change my room "bc I already switch twice".

It was old and somewhat run down, but you get what you pay for.

First, the receptionist was very slow, but accommodating. Key card didn't work very well, the room was so gross with MUSHROOMS growing out of the floor by the bathroom and more flies than a jungle. Blood and feces stains on walls. Although the towels, and bed above average. Dontwaste your money. You will be disappointed unless you're homeless.

my stay this go around sucked, a motorcycle keep me up half the night, I stay anywhere from one two times a month there and feel I should be compensated for that stay with a free night

I stayed in knights inn this past Saturday night in room 222. I'll put it this way. Around midnight I had gone to the front desk to ask for a Lipton tea bag so that I could make tea for my sore throat. They were visible by the door on a table. I confirmed my room number with my room key and the front desk guy was so rude in telling me that I could not have one because it was not breakfast time. This particular attendant was rude for the remainder of the morning even lurking around my door as though to spy. I realize this motel ain't The Ritz , however, ANY establishment needs to remember how to give good customer service. You never know who just might be checking in.

The room was really outdated and run down. It was functional but not appealing at all.

Stayed here before in a king room and had a great bed and room. This visit we went with a queen room. The bed had a big dip in the middle. The sink wouldn’t drain and the tub liner filled with water so it was like trying to stand on a waterbed.

We needed a basic room just for the night. The location was convenient to our destination, the shower had plenty of warm water, and the beds were comfortable enough. The breakfast bar looked very, very minimal, so we didn't have any of that. The location was a bit iffy, and there were odd individuals walking around the property, even late at night. However, I have to say, we were safe, our car was safe, no one bothered us, and the overnight stay worked out just fine. If I needed another basic, simple, overnight stay in this area again, I would probably consider this place.

Stopped driving through for a quick rest. Booked online. First room had shaving cream and hair in the sink and a filthy bed. Next room so bad hubby wouldn't let me in. Third room door lock were broken. We were locked out of the room with only half of our stuff unloaded. Over an hour later, offered a room while someone was already in it. Finally got into a room to wait for our belongings. It wasn't as bad but it wasn't comfortable. They had to call someone to come open the damaged door. After four hours sleep we ran out of there.

Nothing unique about it but it was very clean & neat

The hotel was old and needed updated. Comforter had burn holes in it, bathroom needed some work, but nothing we could not deal with for a one night stay. Probably will stay again since it is cheap and close to where we have to pickup our son.
