Extremely convenient location, just outside of town but across the street from food and gas. This is an older building for sure but the price couldn't be beat. I don't need anything fancy, just warm and safe. My room had a window into what used to be the pool but it's long abandoned. Interesting tho, like looking into the past a lil. I appreciated the free snacks and water bottles as I was doing a lot of traveling and hiking the day of checkout.

There was legitimately animal urine and feces saturated into every square foot of every single hallway in the entire place, and the bed was so horrendous I could still smell whatever created the field of brown and yellow stains all over the cushion and covers. The odor throughout the entire facility was so strong and thick I held my breath all the way back out to my car and refused to sleep there.

While the rooms were clean, the property itself was pretty rough – pot smoke in the hallways, cigarette smoke elsewhere. Plus, lots of commotion in the parking lot.

I’m like this hotel

Checked in here for a week with my 4 year old son . We got a good rate online and it helped us be able to save money for our trip which was a plus. The lady up front was great and friendly and the lobby was clean and inviting . The hotel is old and still uses keys to open doors but they do lock the outer door so that’s an extra security measure . I felt safe in the area and hotel no trouble at all was had while there. Now I must say I do wish the room was cleaner , there was tons of dead stink bugs lining the window and one was hanging from ceiling and another is wedged behind the cabinet. I did see two other live bugs that resembled a small cockroach but the bed was clean and the sheets were clean the comforter had a stain and a cigarette burn but looked clean. The tv and pictures had a very smoky film and dirty smears that resembled someone smoking previously in the room or maybe just serious lack of cleaning . The hotel and room smelled faintly of smoke as people smoked right outside under my window and the hall smelled of marijuana from time to time. This hotel is used by locals to live in as it is a very good price . Overall I did not notice any bed bugs and the bathroom was clean and the water was hot and stayed hot . I just wish there regular cleaning was more like maybe a shop vac brought in to vacuum window frame and corners . I would stay here again as it was comfortable and I felt safe and the price was great.

This is an economy hotel with few amenities...and a discount price. No breakfast of any sort but bed was good & shower was hot. Floors were old tile & linoleum.... shower head was too low

About 2 hours after I checked in I received a text saying my credit card didn't work and I needed to contact them to pay and assure my stay at APM. You have a serious leak in your reservation system. They had all my information. Not using Booking,com or APM again!!

The staff has been very nice also very accommodating . Our room was clean . We were thinking of staying long term while I do an assignment at a local hospital however policy is you move to second floor . I am not to keen on second floor move the floor is not as nice as first floor . It is dark and gloomy and the room we were going to be placed in smelled like cigarettes badly and working in healthcare I was afraid my belongings would also become smelly. They are renovating so hopefully in time the second floor will also be just as nice as the first floor. Indoor pool is not open either . This was also a disappointment.

Check in was okay. Hotel has no elevators for a two level hotel. Stairs only. Tuff on dragging suitcases and two toddler up stair to the room. Bathroom had a cigarette smell, room was clean. Hallway smell like paint, fan was running but still strong. Smell went away after the next more. Parking lot had lot of litter laying around.

The only two things good about this hotel is Anna and Courtney everything else was terrible. Elaine is the worst Clerk I've ever met. Dirty floors dirty room dirty beds terrible blankets fire hazards in the room with all the cords they have plugged into one Outlet all around terrible experience. Would never come back here even if it were free.

The room was clean upon arrival. Staff is very friendly. Slept very well due to the quietness. Pet friendly and an area where I played catch with my dogs. It was a great experience staying at the APM Inn.

It was very pet friendly. The room was taken care of. Water in the room for drinking the fridge was clean also microwave. Bed was comfortable. No creamer for coffee. Check in staff was nice. Same with check out staff. Still waiting on my returned deposit. I took pictures of room when i went in so they wouldn't say i did the lil damage that was done to room. Overall nice stay. Saw a few lil creepy crawlers. Guess that expected for the area. I'm sure they bring in an exterminators for them. Other people staying there were nice.

My stay was great, the only problem I had was the bathroom was not the cleanest but I was only staying for one night so it worked fine for me. Then the people that were staying below me were outside very late and talking very loud so that kept me up a little bit but that isn’t the motels fault or the employee’s fault.

Then finally found a number. All while waiting two more crack heads that were living there decided they knew me and started asking me a million questions. Finally got my towels took a shower went to bed Had to be someone early so left at 7am NO ONE WORKS THERE FROM MIDNIGHT TILL 8am the place is literally crawling with people and no one works the night shift i left my key to my room in the bush and left I DO NOT RECCOMEND STAYING HERE.

The property was nasty and stank to high heaven. Only good thing was the price. Steam clean those carpets and disinfect the rooms.

They insisted on a $50 deposit that was not disclosed in the listing. They only had staff until modnight to check in. We arrived just before midnight and were given our room key as the staff left. Got in the room and the toilet was disgusting but there wasn't anyone to talk to about this. We will not be using this motel ever again!

Not satisfactory

When i got there, they charged a $50 "refundable security deposit". I've stayed at nicer hotels that have never done that. Also, the water faucet in the tub was not secured to the wall, just had caulk around it. Wgen i turned the shower on, I thought I was going to pull it out of the wall. One of the complimentary bottles of water was opened, the shampoo was opened, and there was paint on the mirror. I didn't feel very comfortable there. I felt very uneasy, as if something was off. A perfect example of "You get what you pay for". I can easily tell why it's the cheapest location in the city.

It was all around bad ,asked for 2 beds got 1 for me,my daughter and 2 grandchildren. Hotel is out dated an looks like a place that you would rent by thd hour.We were given a key and yes j mean key to a room that someone was already in we opened the door to find mens clothing hanging up,his boots ,wallet and laptop.When we were able to get in to hotel,because after 11p. They lock door and you cznt get in to lobby even by a hallway the front desk girl kinda laughed and told us we need to wait fof a new room because she had yo walk to go get us a key she left them.They also charge you $50 deposit and yes they charge the card not just put a hokd om it so you get to waiy up to 21 days to get your money back.

This is a pretty decent place for the price. I stayed 4 days until my place was ready and it fit the budget. They are doing renovations so don't be put of by the looks of it. It's a pretty big hotel hidden away so it's nice and quiet. Other guests are polite and staff is wonderful and able to assist with most needs. Heads up to the ladies, there isn't an iron or blow dryer in the room but I bought my own. Overall a decent play to rest. Would certainly come back when I'm in the area to visit.

I didn't realize the office opens at 8am. I got lucky and a sweet lady opened the door at 7am allowing me to shower and sleep after a long drive. Thanks so much.

I stayed with my wife and two infants for the night for a cheer competition. Literally did nothing and they kept my 50$ deposit. Did not destroy smoke or do any type of damage and still they kept my money.

The bathroom sink had black fold around the top - There was hair in the sink drain. The bath/shower had black gold, and the actual toilet was awful, and came with urine stains around the base. The bathroom floor was dirty and had fingernail clippings on it. Front dest is only 8am to 10pm and no key drop-box!

First checked into a room that television didn’t work so we had to move to another room and this room smelled of bug spray and roaches were very active..I left around midnight due to the infestation of roaches and this was a horrible experience

Bed bugs and dirty linens

Facility like a Holiday Inn from the 1970s. That said, it's in very good condition. Very clean, comfortable bed, even the caulking around the tub is good. No table to eat at. No ice machine. But plenty of washers and dryers. Staff friendly and helpful.

Bed was broken, TV did not work due to satellite and storm. Unknown medicine tablet on floor that my dog almost ate. That could have ended tragically. The one very small garbage pail in the room had garbage in it from last guests.Dog poop all over the grass that you can tell is old and new

Extremely dirty, I had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean my room. Needs major repairs, Everything is falling apart. No trash cans anywhere in the rooms or hallways. Was there for 3 nights and i didnt see 1 housekeeper. One good thing is the Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Horrible place to stay even if cheaper then most they still could try to make it decent however it shows by how dirty the rooms are they just can’t your money.

It’s fine for an extended stay cheapish hotel. Pool hasn’t been functional for who knows how long and they have huge WiFi dead spots. My room gets zero WiFi coverage, which is annoying since it’s predominantly promoted.

Terrible we waited for almost an hour for someone to arrive at the front desk, me and my partner searched the lobby a long with completely unlocked and unsecured employee only areas just for a man to walk in with his friend and flashing a pistol in our face. We were surprised with a 50 security deposit and could not afford so we ended up financing a room we didnt even get to sleep in, the staff were not understanding of our circumstances and even refused to give a refund, ive stayed in fozens of hotels this is literally my worst experience since me and my partner ended up sleeping in her truck at sub freezing temperatures and basically got scammed through a series of seemingly intentional convoluted schemes that will inevitably cause the same issues for the next unsuspecting customer. If i could give negative stars i would and if i had the name pf the staff member that was working i would have pressed charges.

Paid for two nights for my cousin, called to pay for 3rd on Thanksgiving and was charged $56.00 for the night, but cousins girlfriend had already paid for that night. There was a note to clerk explaining this, she chose to disregard it as a mistake.

As we were traveling through West Virginia, we stayed at APM Inn as an overnight. Very convenient location; friendly staff; easy check-in; and clean, comfortable room. I appreciated the attention to the property, including the quality of the recent renovations, security and condition of the grounds.

Not all lights worked in room. No vending machines. I felt like I was staying at a drug treatment center with the signs on building saying drug free facility. No soap in bathroom. Everything else was OK.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. I stayed here several times and never had any issues. The room was clean and comfortable.

The sheets had cigarette stain. I took a picture. The desk had not been dusted on the edges, i had to wipe off th3 commode seat, it appeared to have dried feces. Inside of the commode was diety and around the rim. They had quite a bit of drug dealings goung on outside in the parking lot. The worst place i have ever stayed.

They have people living there and when we started to go to our room 2 people came out the door arguing loudly while puffing on cigarettes. After going up the steps we were greeted by 2 barking dogs . All this happening close to midnight. In the room the bathroom floor was loaded with hair and hair in the tub. It was too late to drive home so we just went to sleep. Beds were clean & smelled fresh. Around 7 a.m. there were people in the hallway arguing & making all sorts of noise for about 2 hours. Then it was quiet. When leaving there were all kinds of homeless looking people all around the motel. As they say you get what you pay for.

This place seemed like a flop house where people actually lived. The pictures on the site are misleading. The hallways were somewhat dark and a little scary to be honest. Nobody was at the front desk when we left to check out so I had to drive back around and leave my key in the room. Front doors were locked. One of the lamps in the room didn't work. Room smelled very chemically clean, but everything was just old. Our room was an internal room, whose window looked out into the derelict pool area, which looks to have been in disrepair for many years. It was like something out of a post-apocalyptic movie.

I called the wva location and explained what happened and the associate elaine lockhart was wonderful. She called the Winchester location and had everything transferred over and they saved a room for us. It was an easy transactio

Overall this motel is very cost efficient on a low budget however we have had issues with bugs (cockroaches) since we got here . (Waiting on our apartment to be ready) when first arriving , had issues with the lady at front desk , walked right pasted her outside smoking && had to wait 10 minutes to even begin the check in process also had a few other incounters with the same lady , very rude && unprofessional. Carol on the other hand has been a tremendous help && very professional on the other hand (she’s the assistant manager) && is here during the week days.
