Everything was pretty fine but the room was smelling like mold.
- 3/5
Lobby stair carpets are filthy. The room floor had laminate flooring that was cracked, peeling up and one spot would push down it you walked across it. Bed wasn’t comfortable but thankfully the air unit worked well.
- 3/5
The rooms smelled musty. There was a hole in the wall and toilet seat was not secured down. The pool wasn't filled up so couldn't use it. It was a place to sleep. For the price we paid I expected more as we have stayed at the chain in another state and it was well taken care of. Very disappointed.
- 3/5
My stay was nice. Asked cleaning staff for new towels and washcloths, was to give them 30 min, never received any linens. Thankfully I came with my own
- 3.5/5
The breakfast could use some help. 3 apples, half working coffee station, waffle maker didn't work, juice containers were warm.
- 3/5
This particular Quality Inn seemed very outdated and not as clean as others I have been too. I also felt the price was a little high but maybe it was the area I was in.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and location as well Everything went well Nothing was wrong
- 2.5/5
On the website it says they have an indoor pool and a hot tub. It does not have either one.
- 2.5/5
Yes water dripping in bathroom and toilet running all night
- 2/5
The front desk said it was $20 to check in early. I paid this in cash. The took my cash and charged me $20 for it on my credit card.

This place was perhaps one step above a homeless shelter. The room needed a total rehab. Too many broken things to mention. I am asking for a total refund
- 1/5
We did not stay - the elevator was not working & due to health restrictions, my husband cannot walk up/down stairs. Front desk person said they had no rooms on first floor - she was absolutely NOT helpful & constantly contradicted herself. They have not refunded us in full (I paid for 3 nights), but I will continue to obtain a full refund.
- 1/5
Bottom mattress protector was stained with god only knows what. Reported to front desk and was told to let manager know in the morning.
- 2/5
The property is pet friendly but the outdoor space is filthy. Cigarettes and trash everywhere.
- 5/5
All of the staff were nice, friendly & were eager to help with any needs or requests. The rooms were not excellent but good, but the cost was not high so it was a good value.
- 5/5
Staff is great. So helpful and friendly

Worst smell I have ever encountered in a hotel. Not sure so many reviews about the smell and still no fix has been made. Never coming back sorry.
- 2.5/5
They had not cleaned the restroom from last guest
- 5/5
Nothing
- 1.5/5
Staff was friendly and they were plowing the lot throughout the snowstorm Room was gross. Roaches. Fridge didn’t work. Black mold in the bathroom. Old food and crumbs all on the floor. Mattress cover was filthy. Smelled like stale smoke.
- 3/5
It was a nice and safe location. Enjoyed this location for weekend getaways but there hot water issue is hopefully fixed then next time we stay.

I LIKED THE MORING STAFF .THEY WERE ALWAYS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL THE EVENING STAFF WERE ALWAYS NOT VERY HELPFUL OR NICE .THEY ALLOWED NOICE COME DOWN FROM A ROOM ABOVE OURS ALL NIGHT LONG ,SO WE MOVED TO ANOTHER ROOM DOWN THE HALL .ONLY TO BE ACCUSED OF CAUSING NOICE OURSELVES THERE FOR TWO DAYS IN WHICH WE BOTH NEVER DID.I WOULD NOT STAY THERE EVER AGAIN

Friendly staff, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Would book this hotel again.
- 3/5
A little seedy, but ok. The room and bed linens had a faint odor of something. Hotel was non-smoking but stairwell smelled of smoke. Decent breakfast bar with waffles, sausage, eggs, fresh fruit, etc. (though the waffle machine needs a timer). Better than sleeping in my car but worse (except for breakfast) than the place I stayed the night before in Somerset, PA, which was cheaper but cleaner and quieter. ... One more thing: a staff member wore a Confederate flag while serving breakfast. Like it or not, this is a racist symbol in 2025, and nobody should have to deal with that first thing in the morning. Anyway, WV was on the other side! Some guests are in the area to visit Antietam. Staff should be aware of the import of such symbols and avoid antagonizing guests.
- 3/5
Definitely okay not too bad , breakfast was decent honestly. Nosy people but it’s expected out there .
- 1/5
A rollaway bed was brought to us for my nephew to sleep on and it had so many pea rings on it it was disgusting. The cover on the bed had dark stains all over it. And there was some type of bodily fluid on the side of the bed. It was an all-around disgusting experience. Not to mention the person above us walked throughout the whole floor all night long with a squeaky floor so we didn't sleep much that night. It was terrible. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 5/5

Customer service outstanding. Cleanliness needs some improvement
- 5/5
Breakfast was hot and kept fully stocked every morning
- 5/5
Great staff, nice clean room
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 1/5
What a DUMP. The people were nice but there was no toilet paper in the room. The door in the bathroom was goiged from a dog. The fan in the bathroom was broken. This place just needs some love. If you don't get to breakfast early you'll be out of luck. And it's in the middle of nowhere with only a Sheetz to eat at near by.
- 2/5
Room smelled awful, like body odor. No shampoo. Dead bugs in bathroom light fixture. Drippy tub faucet. Loose toilet seat. Not advised no elevator prior to booking; steps to second level poorly maintained.
- 3/5
Great staff but a little worn down.
- 2/5
Bathtub had a serious drip. After a shower, the drip went all over the floor. This happened twice. Staff did not pick up the wet mildewy towels. Instead they just left clean towels in the hallway. No coffee maker. Weekend breakfast didn’t open until 7am. Breckfast ran out of coffee.
- 3/5
The cleanliness of the room wasn’t bad, almost what’s to expect at this price point. Lots of sketchy characters smoking just outside the entrance doors and painters tape painted over on the bathroom ceilings. All of our neighbors were very noisy, yelling at night. The toilet ran all night, no matter what I did. We liked the location, though.
- 5/5
The whole crew was perfect.
- 5/5
Excellent staff especially Kayla who went out of her way to make sure we had a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
staff are excellent
- 3/5
Someone in an adjacent room was smoking
- 3/5
However, the waste bin in one of the bathrooms was filled with a mystery liquid that we had to dump out, and both rooms had a very strong musty odor. The bathroom fan didn't work; the bathroom lights sometimes cut out, the pillows were pretty uncomfortable, and the streaming service in one of the rooms kept buffering us out. The stairs were showing major signs of wear. The upper hall had an uneven spot that I tripped on and nearly fell over. The breakfast room was clean and well-kept, and met expectations. I think the staff is doing the best they can with what they have been given.
- 5/5
the staff are terrific!
- 1/5
The bathtub had about water in it when we 1st got there ,toliet would run ,walls were so thin you could hear everything.
- 4/5
Our room stunk 117 like mold. The tub was great, ac worked, room was clean.
- 2/5
Room and hotel itself were very dirty. I saw multiple roaches while I was there and I’m sure there were a ton more that I didn’t see. I had to put all my stuff in bags so I didn’t take the bugs home with me. Only benefit of this hotel was that it was close to my travel job and dog friendly.
- 5/5
This place is perfectly priced. Beds are pretty comfortable. Front desk ladies are great. I dealt with jodie alot and she was amazing
- 5/5
No complaints.
- 1/5
There were homeless people living in the parking lot the rugs smelled of piss. The breakfast was awful.
- 4/5
Housekeeping staff are exceptional!
- 5/5
Amazing friendly staff enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
I was extremely happy they had one of the waffle makers as an option for breakfast.
- 3/5
Bed Bugs
- 4/5
The beds were comfy, and the room was spacious enough for our family. The staff was very kind and helpful. The main downside was how many repairs needed to be done to the property. The main stairwell's trimming was coming off and the nails could be seen. Pieces of the EXIT stairwell steps were also breaking off. It was a little annoying to be able to hear the next room's TV while we were trying to sleep.
- 5/5
Very easy check in, pool is warm and clean. Will visit again if in the area.
- 3/5
The hotel was okay of course what do you expect for $86 a night.. the property just needs attention
- 5/5
Good location. Close to family.
- 5/5
Nice
- 1/5
I didn’t like that I picked a hotel that advertised it had a pool that conveniently was closed for repairs. Breakfast was very limited and the people that hung around the hotel were a bit scary
- 1/5
Toilet didn't work right (fixed myself), tv didn't work right (had to use my laptop), fridge didn’t work right (had to switch outlets after we found all food was warm). Also, obvious mold in the bathroom corner. Half wanted to ask for a refund since we paid for these things and yet they were either completely or nearly out of order. Pitiful. Room 203.
- 2/5
One of our hand towels had makeup on it (we didn’t even bring makeup) and the carpet by the door was sticky. One of the bed had blue stains on the sheets and water only came out of a few holes in the shower. We specifically chose this hotel because it was affordable and had a pool, but the pool was closed all weekend. There was an “interesting” smell in the stairwell. Won’t be staying here again.
- 2/5
Too noisy. Even at 3 in the morning on a week night. The tub faucet leaked. The microwave was unplugged and you had to be a contortionist to find a way to plug it in. Two dirty socks were found in our room. Not ours. No protein offered for breakfast. Has a pool. Not open.
- 1/5
I knew our plans may change from our reservation dates and inquired daily about potentially checking out earlier than our reservation dates. I was told I would have to speak to the manager the day of early check out. The evening before early check out I inquired. The clerk took a message and attempted to reach the off duty manager and would contact me when she received an answer on a possible refund. I did not receive any information that evening. The day of check out the manager was not yet in and would arrive at 9 am that day. The information would be provided when they arrived. I was told they had my credit card information an would provide the refund, if permitted, to my card. I never received a refund.

This was my second stay. The price is, obviously, more than reasonable. So reasonable that you may question the quality. This hotel is clean, the rooms are nice with microwaves and fridge (always a plus.) My only real complaint is that breakfast could use some protein. I do want to say that each time I've stayed, the front desk staff have been EXCEPTIONALLY helpful, which I appreciate.
- 5/5
Easy to get around
- 2/5
The room and hallway smelled like mold
- 1/5
My husband and I stay at Choice member properties all across America and sadly, this was one of our worst experiences. Sound Insulation is very poor and with a screaming infant across the hall, rambunctious guests next door (as early as 5:15 AM, and a barking dog on the other side….it was a miserable experience. Property itself, to include linens and decor are threadbare and outdated.
- 3/5
This was my 4th time staying there glad they got rid of all the start cats. The front desk staff still not acknowledging guests as they enter or leave
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
We asked for the room to be cleaned and it wasn't
- 3/5
Our stay was comfortable. We don't need anything fancy. We came for a travel football tournament at the local high schools. The free breakfast was delicious, lots of choices. Mini fridge is always great to have in a room. Some outlets on the lamps didn't work and the microwave did not work no matter where I tried to plug it in. The room was pretty dark. No overhead lights at all except in the bathroom, only 3 lamps and all had dull and dim lightbulbs. The main source of light was sunlight and opened curtains. No elevator. But everything else was great. Room was clean and quiet.
- 4/5
My room was clean, but there were some problems. I had looked forward to using the jacuzzi in the room, but it was non-functional. I would have appreciated knowing that before I tried to use it. The heating register was incredibly noisy - I had to turn it of in order to sleep. On the bright side - breakfast was good and the front desk person, Jennifer, was amazing!

Toilet clogged strong smell
- 1/5
Room had mold and the toilet was clogged the entire stay
- 2/5
The motel needed some work. The inside hasn’t been maintained and was dirty. They offer a complimentary breakfast from 7am-10am, however, my wife and I managed to get eggs, sausage, and waffles around 8am around 6-8 people weren’t able to get those items or even cream for their coffee. No one was available to replenish anything. The trash cans were full and falling on the floor. I informed the lady at the front desk and she left her post to come in to try to fix the problem. We left before anyone else could eat.
- 5/5
Room was nice, reasonable price.
- 3/5
Not to bad could use a little work like drain in the tub. But all an all not bad
- 2/5
Very strong mildew odor in hallways and room i had to buy a candle and freshener to be comfortable.
- 5/5
Place was greT
- 2/5
Was very disappointed in my stay. They had permanent residents there that hung out in front & smoked. Had to walk through the smoke to get into lobby. They had dog's in the room next to us that barked at time's during the night & everytime the owners would leave the room. Breakfast through the week was nothing good at all & milk was warm.Lady clerk was rude when we asked for more toilet paper & towels. She acted like it was an inconvenience for her to get them for me.Breakfast wasn't bad on the weekends. Nevertheless we'll probably not stay there again, unless there's nothing else available. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!
- 2/5
The floor I was on had a skunk smell. Hotel needs updating.
- 3/5
Our hot water ran the entire time we were there. It was loud. The building was a little on the loud side. There appeared to be "residents". I wish them well but I wanted a more "uplifting" atmosphere.
- 2/5
The room was old and needed updating. I went to desk to ask someone to come and fix my phone. No one came. Musty smell in the bathroom. Didn't realize dogs were allowed and I am allergic to dogs. I stayed 1 night but had gone to front desk a few hours after ckin to say that I will be leaving tomorrow and only staying 1 night and not 2. I was charged an early leaving fee. What the?
- 1/5
The smoke smell was way too overwhelming for s smoke free hotel.
- 5/5
Very peaceful
- 2/5
They serving expired foods for breakfast.
- 2/5
Didn’t have shampoo/conditioner. Got woken up at 10:40am by housekeeping (keys stopped working before 10:30am when checkout is at 11am). Bed top blanket was stained red in multiple places.
- 2/5
Money falsely taken by management. WWas approached disrespectfully by management for taking 2 mustard packets from dining area
- 2/5
I was wrongly charged $200 for smoking in room. I didnt. Smoke in room. Was approached disrespectfully by manager about getting 2 mustard packets from dining area. After having spent over $ 5000. on stays at motel.
- 2/5
The staff were nice but overall the facility is run down. Our room was humid, despite attempts to raise or lower the air conditioning. Clothing was damp and our bathing suits never dried. The breakfast was decent and included hot items. Pool was okay but we never saw anyone clean it and there was trash around it. We often had the pool to ourselves which was nice. There appear to be many long term residents at the hotel who are a bit sketchy. It is a non smoking facility but folks sit nearby and smoke more than cigarettes. We definitely won't stay again. The dogs were better than the people.
- 4/5
I was very pleased with the place, I felt safe and clean, and breakfast was included and very good! Amicable staff! I highly recommend the place! :-)
- 3/5
Well if your ever traveling and run out of drugs this is the place to stay i was offered an aray of drugs from what i guessed were weekly renters smell of smoke all over the place bed was comfortable just had to leave tv on loud all night to drown out noise from around me
- 3/5
Our sink got stopped up, our shower got stopped up and then a large dog was barking right next to our room.
- 4/5
Bed was some what soft just not soft enough for my bad back.
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Everything is great since we've been here for almost 2 months!
- 2/5
No elevator, the main stairs were in disrepair, we are elderly she caught her shoe on torn rubber edging on the stairs. There was nothing to hold onto in the slippery shower. The whole facility seemed in disrepair. There is no spa there.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The staff was great. We would definitely return.
- 1/5
I thought the staff was not very knowledgeable about issues that came up and when I wanted to talk to a manager about finding a bunch of bugs in the sealed coffee cups in our room there was not one available. The next day was told they would give us a one not return but still was not manager on duty. Then a cleaning lady whom did not give her name said she was going into the room when we check out to see what the issues were but was very rude to us about these issues. We had a non- smoking room yet the comforter in the room had a burn mark from a cigarette on it and the room smelled of smoke. I am a smoker and noticed the smell as soon as I entered the room. I am very dis pleased with the staff and lack of management.
- 3/5
We did have a major problem with the people in the next room being loud they partied until about 230 am. We called the front desk several times and the did best they could. This is not a high end hotel at all and they have to put up with all sorts of clientele. so not sure if it was the location or just our dumb luck to have such such inconsiderate people next to us. I had to work the next day and 5 hours of sleep was not enough.
- 5/5
Again the staff was very friendly and helpful..Breakfast was good and rooms were clean as we expected. However the area around the building was litered with animal fecus..I know it was not the hotel's responsibility but the pet owner to clean up after their pet. I always clean uup after my Max. Whenthose that do not clean up after their pet makes it hard for those that do.. I appreciate pet friendly hotels/motels and hope this issue does not make you more apprehensive in allowing pets. When we travel we frequently use Quality Inn and Suites.
- 1/5
We specifically booked this hotel because it has a pool. When we arrived in the afternoon we checked in, unpacked, and got ready for a nice swim. Got down stairs and started towards the inviting outdoor pool full of water and that's when we were informed that the pool was closed. We weren't told when we checked in, there was no sign at the desk or anywhere that the pool was closed, and the man at the desk was rude about the entire situation. Over our stay we discovered that the ice machine on our floor was broken, the air conditioner only worked if it was constantly running at 68 degrees so that the room was freezing, and the hair dyer in our room was broken. The only nice part of this stay was the cleaning staff who clearly weren't part of the family running the place. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
- 2/5
Also the property was very dated! The toilet barely flushed, the toilet paper holder was broken, the towels were skimpy, the tub/shower safety bar was missing, the shampoo containers didn’t work and the hair dryer also didn’t work! The bed was fine and the TV and refrigerator worked And to date this was the highest priced of the other properties in this price range!
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
Good service and friendly
- 5/5
Everything is great!!!
- 2/5
There was loitering on the property. Not a safe, nice environment. Very noisy
- 3/5
Dorothy who handled breakfast was excellent!
- 3/5
The Ugly: pool was broken (still from COVID) Crackheads stole the elevators so you have to take the stairs.
- 1/5
Air conditioning wasnt working and room smelled like dogs. The front desk gentlemen was awesome in attempting to assist us with changing rooms and was so polite
- 5/5
we enjoyed and stay and the breakfast. we would stay again.
- 4/5
It was a nice place to sleep while touring around the area. It was not far from any of the attractions we were visiting (harpers ferry, shepherdsville, skyline drive, caverns etc.) The complimentary breakfast was great, staff were nice. Rooms were older but had everything we needed and was clean enough.
- 5/5
Perfect for me after a long trip and needed a nights rest
- 1/5
Staff was rude and the room smelled like cat litter and urine. You could hear everything around you and above you. Had to go to the front desk to complain about the room above us for carrying on. Will never stay in a Quality Inn again. Definitely lowest quality hotel possible.
- 4/5
There should be some fruit and vegetable options for the complimentary breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights here and my gf was bit in the eye by something in the room. The whole side of her face was swollen. They did witch is rooms thankfully but after being up all night we asked for a late check out and they would not accommodate. Nor would they cooperate when attempting to get a refund.
- 1/5
If I could go lower than one I would the staff is unbelievable they are beyond rude, if you ask for bed linens to be changed your handed the stuff and told that you do it. The hotel has an awful smell. Their “roll-in showers are NOT Roll in. WORST place I have ever stayed do NOT recommend

The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was clean. It appears to be an older hotel. The bedding was stained and dated.
