Delta Hotels by Marriott Phoenix Mesa

We went to a concert next door at Mesa Amphitheater and the hotel was so convenient, just a couple minutes walk. Staff were friendly, beds very comfortable.

Fantastic breakfast buffet at very affordable price.

The room and beds are extremely cozy and comfortable. Nice location in proximity to downtown. I’d say it’s a little pricey for the location but otherwise would definitely stay again.

Amazing place easy check in.We got to check in 2 hours early with no fee the pool was so refreshing and it was close( we way across the street)to a little sport pub we had dinner. People were friendly at the pool overall 10 out of 10

Prior with an early check-in request and was unable to do so and had to get a different hotel for family to check-in early who were coming in from out of town. Also, when I checked into delta, my key did not work in the first room, then they moved me to another room where the key didn't work.As well, and this is telling me that there was rooms available for an early check in and I didn't have to rent the other one.If they could just accommodate my needs.

Nice and clean, lots of space, polite staff. Breakfast was excellent. Only bad thing was smoke alarm started beeping at 2:30am probably battery weak. We were able to hit the reset button so beeping stopped.

They did not have a complimentary breakfast which was disappointing. We stayed with our soccer team and that would have been really convenient to have breakfast. The jacuzzi water was dirty and almost green so we didn't use it at all. Also a microwave in the room would have been useful

Unfortunately we had a mishap with our beds in the rooms. When we turned down the bed at night there were tissues within the bed. Whether the tissues were used or not we will never know but it appeared as though bedding was never actually replaced with clean sheets after prior guest and before us. We were three travelers and the compensation for the mishap was fresh bedding and only two restaurant vouchers for breakfast. Not happy with that but at least the staff housekeeping manager was kind and prompt with replacing the sheets/bedding.

Old rooms mine had a tub that was a climb to get in luckily I am spry for 72. The toilet had a broken top with the wrong size replacement. The bar was in the lobby and very noisy. If you self park finding the lobby was difficult.

Breakfast was good, fresh food. Our first room was on the first floor, 15 minutes into the room our large window was shattered, they claimed unknown kids were playing around area. We moved to another first-floor room 118. In that room the stainless-steel shower holder fell off the wall almost causing an injury to the feet of the naked person. The whole piece of stainless steel was carried over to the person at front desk named John I believe. He immediately called maintenance and they came with 15 minutes to repair the wall and the shower holder mechanism. Nice job !

Best stay I have anywhere in a long time.

The only problem we had was a loud air conditioner in the room it made it hard to get a goodnight sleep.

Everyone working at this hotel are professional and personable. The location was superb for our purposes. Very convenient to the Conference Center. Eating was very good and within easy walking distance. The facility is clean and well managed. We had no complaints or negatives.

There was a ton of kids running around the lobby late at night and out in the pool area all day! Obnoxious. Rooms were loud and old.

The staff was very friendly and attentive when checking in and the lobby was very nice. The room was also very clean. Comfortable bed, wish there was extra blankets because that particular night was very cold. The room heater was nice though and heated the room nicely. Only thing that was disappointing was that the walls were thin and people next door were arguing one morning.

No microwave in the room. Refrig only allow 2hr cooling. Not family friendly in that sense to keep any perishable items.

The staff was courteous, but the room temperature controls were not operable and it was freezing. When we asked about turning the temperature up (It felt like it was 55 degrees) when the thermostat was saying 80 - they said they have to send someone in to go up in the ceiling and switch it to heat. We didn't want the heat on, we just wanted the room at about 67-68 degrees similar to the outside temperature during the day. Also, the tub drained so slowly that by the end of a shower, you were ankle deep in water. It smelled a little mold/musty in the bathroom and the hallways had a strong cigarette smoke smell, not what I'm used to staying at a Marriot but maybe when it's a Delta Hotel by Marriott that makes the difference vs. a Marriott property?

The staff were very helpful and accommodating! When I mentioned at check-in that I wasn't sure how my puppy would do in the elevator, they put us in a ground floor room right near the side door. It was a great spot for us, with grass nearby for our walks.

I paid for handicap room with 2 queen size beds, when I checked in they said there was no room available and I would have to take a king size bed with a portable bed brought in. This was not what I paid for, I was offered a room with 2 queen size beds, thats what i had to accept. I stayed at this hotel because my granddaughters wedding reception was being held there.

I booked a 4 star hotel because my wife had to stay in the hotel in the morning while I was at business. She went to the gym and couldn’t barely breathe because the air freshener was so bad and overwhelming. I went in there and it was terrible. There was mold in the vents, shower, the bathroom was in bad shape

Poor experience over all staff did not want to do the basics. checked in asked to combine 2 stays as i had to booking 2 dates that needed to be merged host said it wasn't a problem i specifically asked to pleas call if you cant find it or threes any issue she said no problem. next day i got an attitude from the man at the desk saying that i only have one booking and basically shrugged his holders at me. long story short we found it under the Expedia part of his computer odd possibly before being rude to a customer maybe check all your reasorsses.

Room was clean. Specifically the bathroom. Loved the view of the amphitheater in the concert that we didn’t know was happening. I like the idea of the 24 hour pantry for a quick snack or breakfast as I had a very early morning so didn’t have time for breakfast. Staff was extremely friendly and inviting. Looking forward to visiting again.

This was the perfect location for the convention I attended. The service exceeded my expectations. When I accidentally left an item in my room they went overboard to help me get it back. I will be back yearly!

The only problem I had was worth hotels dot com i'm a longstanding member. I did not protect my stay with the extra fear and my wife got a new job and her start date interfered with our stay all I asked him to do. Let's push back my stand by 1 day. There was a 2 nights there. I just wanted to check-in on Saturday instead of Friday. I'll stay tunnel Monday instead of Sunday. It would have made the difference in hotel cost, but they weren't charged me an obscene amount of money to do so that is bs

I definitely pulled a dirty towel from the bathroom though and my room had no air it wouldn’t even turn on but the staff was diligent and got me into another room immediately. Overall great place it was quiet and clean for the most part. I would go back it was definitely worth the $ paid 💯

Our overall stay was great. The room was clean, quiet and convenient. The only downfall to our room was the faucet in the bathroom leaked all over the counter top when the water was running, but it was not that big of a deal

We were in phoenix for a 1 night stay as a couple from Tucson. We wanted something close to an event we were supposed to attend. The room was very comfortable and large. It was a very quiet and felt safe. We had views of the pool and spa which looked nice. The restaurant was closed during our stay however. We did get food for breakfast on our way out. We will definitely stay here again if back in the area for overnight trips.

Everything from top to bottom was a delight for me and my kids, the extra free pantry food on the 12th floor and the size of the fitness gym not to mention the closeness to some of the great food in Mesa. Just outstanding, I will return and I highly recommend the entire staff was above and beyond professional and polite

Parking was ok, just a little bit of a walk from my entrance. Otherwise great hotel

Property was nice. Our room was clean and we had a nice view. Evening and morning front desk were very friendly and nice, however the night audit was very rude. He seemed very agitated when our doordasher was waiting in the lobby for me to come down. He pointed at me in a very aggressive manner. The pool and hot tub needed to be clean, there was a water scorpion in the hot tub so I didn’t risk getting in either.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet on weekends (not included). Comfy bed, luxury fabrics. Friendly staff. Complete exercise facilities. Free parking. Close to downtown Mesa.

We stayed at Delta Hotels in Phoenix Mesa for my daughter’s medical school graduation and had a great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located—just a short drive to the convention center. Parking was easy and free. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and they even provided little extras like shaving kits and toothbrushes. We also loved the self-serve pantry stocked with snacks, coffee, yogurt, and more. ❤️Great stay overall—would definitely come back!

We liked the amenities and how quiet it was. Frequently enjoyed the courtyard area for some relaxing outside time. Gym was up to date on new equipment and pool was clean and fun

The hotel is great! My daughter is performing at Mesa Art center so this was a last minute booking because I did not want to drive back and forth across the city this weekend. It was a great choice!! It is walking distance to the theatre. Its very clean and all the staff are really helpful and nice. I really appreciate them trying to accommodate me with my requests! I also love the access to the pantry. Very convenient all around! I will absolutely stay here each weekend she has performances and dance competitions in the future.

Would not provide room we booked with you (expedia) would not give refund . Said they would give us something comparable. It was not. Heating was malfunctioning on last day . They sent engineering (nice person) to fix it but was unable to. Gave us some more blankets and breakfast vouchers (breakfast was sub par). Would never go back and not use Marriot again. 2nd time with marriot.

This is a great place to stay and the staff are amazing. The location is perfect for dining and getting around Mesa. The only issue I had was the walls do seem a little thin. I could hear everything my neighbor was doing.

The Mesa Convention Center is next door and makes this a perfect hotel for exhibitors or attendees of events. The hotel staff is always very kind and professional. I stay here annually for the Snowbird Extravaganza and find it to be a good experience each year.

Very nice staff and hotel grounds. The AC didn’t work super great. We did get stuck in the elevator. Don’t fit 12 people in or the elevator will just die. Overall good stay and I’d come again.

This property didn't have complimentary breakfast. It smelled terrible on floor 5 where we stayed.

The staff is what makes this a wonderful place. I told front desk staff that I'd brought my mom there so we could stay simewhere quiet and get some sunshine after we'd lost my dad and they couldn't have been more kind. The pool heater was out so coldnt use pool but not a huge deal.

There was also an issue with the A/C that didn’t get fixed for a couple of nights. Wish I stayed somewhere else. The ratings on Expedia did not reflect the experience I had. It should be rated much lower.

A very impressive building with plenty of parking. We arrived early and were greeted and able to check in with no problem as our room was ready. The room was very clean and functional. The room was hot and it was a little difficult to figure out the a/c for someone with poor vision. The room never did really cool down enough but was tolerable. The bed wasn’t great either but was lumpy. Overall it was okay for one night but I wouldn’t stay longer.

The property was arranged such that it was difficult to find reception! Our room was large and comfortable; except we had flat, hard pillows. Also, there was stuff on the floor that should have been vacuumed up before we arrived.
