I was a little nervous at first because I wasn't sure where the office was. I found it and from there on was very impressed. It was easy to find my room. There was chairs and table to sit outside. The room was beautiful, bed comfortable, kitchen was nice and they had real coffee cups! The bathroom had a long counter, loved the walk in shower.

Clean , quiet, huge bathroom and the employees at the front desk were very friendly and outgoing and made sure to let us know they were there for anything we needed. Would stay again

Our stay was amazing! The cleanliness of the suite was great! We felt at home as soon as we entered. The pool was so refreshing and relaxing as well as the hot tub. Everything was fantastic and we will for sure be staying again!! Made my birthday weekend unforgettable 🔥

It was clean and well maintained.

I went to relax and this place was perfect for that. I had a view of the golf course and was able to sit on my patio and listen to the music from the restaurant next door. The bed in my room was super comfy and the room had everything I needed.

The rooms were dated, fan in bathroom was very loud, hot tub was nice, large and clean. The traffic on the main room was loud after 11

This resort is was well placed for our needs. The room was clean and effective. My only regret was not ensuring we had ground level access. the stairs were hard on those with walking disabilities.

I was pleasantly surprised about the large jacuzzi tub. However, it was very dirty. the jets had not been cleaned. The woman that checked me in was very rude and less than informative. The bed was good. Ultimately, they are never going to get a better rating because their check in is 1600 and check out at 1000. That is ridiculous.

We stayed in a 2-room villa and loved the layout and having the community area for breakfasts was awesome! It’s an older property but what it lacks the customer service from the staff makes up for it! We had a safe that wasn’t working. The staff sent someone within 10 minutes to fix. The provided coffee was SO good that we drank 2 pots. We asked for more the next day and it showed up almost instantaneously. We asked for a late checkout and our text was responded to even at 2am. Could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

Fantastic stay! Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms, bathrooms and living spaces. The pool was the perfect temperature to cool off without freezing. Will definitely stay here again.

The property is a bit dated, but cozy with an amazing view of the golf course. The bed was perfect and comfortable. Everything was clean, as described, and easy to find. The walls are paper thin. I was only able to sleep once I had my sound machine on full blast on my phone and with the ac blasting to drown out the neighbors. It’s also hard to find a place to park.

Dave at the front desk told me that the phone system was incapable of connecting my call to a room phone. I have been staying there quite some time and the staff have always transferred me to the room when I have called.

Noise, Noise, and more NOISE!!!! I have traveled the world and never stayed in a place this noisy!!! Smoke alarms going off, loud parties, terribly thin walls!!!! Not a good deal!!!

The room was small but kept up very well. The bed was extremely comfortable. The large hot tub was a benefit. The only reason I won't stay here again is because the pet fee was $150 for one night. It cost more than our one night stay.

Kitchen was great. We made breakfast every meal.

Only stayed for one night so we didn't use any of the amenities. We were in a ground floor adjoining suite. Workers in the unit next to us tried to enter our room in the early morning hours, disturbed our sleep. The jets in the jetted tub in our unit did not work.

The hotel is in desperate need of updating. It felt dirty and smelled old. Our room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke and unfortunately there were no other rooms available. The man at the front desk did try to find us a different room but the only other option smelled worse. I would not stay here again unless some serious remodeling was done.

I am traveling for work and this has the comforts of home. It is clean and well kept. This is my 3rd week here as I go home on the weekends and I have really enjoyed my time here.

The price of the room on your app. The price of taking my dog with me. $150 non refundable charge at check in!!! That is crazy. And it was pre paid so I lost 100 bucks because I wasn't paying 250 for a room, that's not what I signed up for. A deposit is fine. But this was not refundable. This was a charge of 150 at check in and then an additional refundable deposit of 150 that u would get back after check out. That is absolutely ridiculous and the worst policy I have ever heard of. I am very disappointed.

We had a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and so was check out. Room was a little dated but overall nice. Place was convenient to where we needed to be and that was great. Wish there was a little more parking by our unit but overall not a big deal. Would stay here again.

The rooms are beautiful. The bathroom wasn’t clean. The jacuzzi tub certainly shouldn’t be used. The shower faucet leaked everywhere. The staff was professional and proficient in checking us in. No breakfast served which is nice to have at other hotels. Couldn’t find any ice machines. Another amenity that needs attention. The pond and fountain was beautiful to sit by.

The room was clean enough, it’s very worn though with worn out flooring and fairly dated furnishings. But it was clean and convenient and a nice day. The pool was lovely, could definitely use more lounge chairs. The kitchen was well equipped. The staff was incredibly friendly.

Unfortunately their outside telephone system was down, so I could not confirm late check in..which was really stressful because online info said may not be able to check in after 22:30. This is not the case, and the front desk is manned 24 hours.

Beautiful large rooms with large tubs and full kitchens ver clean

We asked for a room close to the pool and with a walk-in shower. The first room we were given, had a garden tub, not acceptable. The second room we were given was very far from the pool and on a second floor. Very hard for a couple in their late 60s. this was our third stay at this property and every time we come it seems to get a little worse each time.

Overall very amazing for the price. 2 hot tubs and a pool with floaties! Nothing negative to say!

The complex was beautiful. The rooms do need some updating but they are comfortable. It was a charming area to relax at. The pool was very inviting and big enough for many people. Hot tubs were nice.

The unit had been remodeled and was stocked with tableware, glasses, utensils and even wine glasses and opener. The drawers and cupboards were soft-close and there were hardwood floors throughout. We did not make use of the pool or other amenities but we did enjoy just hanging outside in the the firepit area located near the pool. While there isn't a restaurant on-site, Pizzicato's had nice outdoor seating overlooking the golf course and is directly adjacent to the resort, and there are numerous BBQ's around the property available for use. The room was very clean and while there is no daily housekeeping, the staff was very responsive to our needs. I think the only thing we missed was having a comfortable sofa or something to sit inside the room. The small bistro table and chairs weren't built for comfort. I highly recommend an upstairs unit, if you can handle the stairs, due to the more private balcony space, and request a room that has been updated and in the back away from the street noise. And yes, as mentioned, the walls are thin. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

It was a wonderful stay in a wonderful place. The white pool bath didn’t work the first night. I texted in the repair and it was fixed the next day. The service and grounds are amazing. Everything is very nice and very well kept.

People were helpful and friendly. The room was very old. The laminate floor was peeling up and the spa tub was ancient. The workout room was down in the dungeon, dark and dreary. I would probably not go back there again.

A room facing the golf course would be much better than the ones facing the street.

Tub was not clean and shower had a leak that soaked the floors. Very rundown rooms. Some do the cardio machines in the gym were not even plugged in so could not use. Staff was super friendly.

Kitchen was stocked with essentials. Floor was a little dusty. A broom was provided. Hook for towel by shower was too high to hang towel. Jaccuzi bath/shower needed caulking and cleaning or replacing (could tell it was old). I did not use Jaccuzi. Bathroom floor had cracks in the tile. We reserved a one bedroom villa and it was perfect for our family. Had everything we needed. The pool and activity options were great. Every employee we interacted with was very friendly and helpful.

The outside of the property looks nice, but the insides were dark and drab. My tub was dirty with long hairs left in several places. The bathroom had an insect problem. The walls were so thin I could hear complete conversations through the walls. The bed was comfortable. I brought up the bug issue and the front desk clerk said she could try to get me another room, but I declined because there was no guarantee the bug issue and thin walls wouldn’t be an issue elsewhere. Overall, I was disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again.

Check-in was delayed as housekeeping had not been to our room yet, and no, we did not arrive early. The room, a studio villa, was surprisingly small considering the word "villa" was used. The presented photo of the room was, of course, taken with a super wide lens. The shared door with the adjacent unit (which we did not open or use) was not tightly sealed so the occupants next door (family of 4 with 2 young boys) were naturally loud and we shared in their life experience whenever they were in their room. This would have been a fine experience for $100 per night but at the pricing charged.

Specifically, I was most impressed with Rosie. They’re at the concierge desk. She made the check in and check out very easy and straightforward. While I was there, I had to leave a day early due to my unfortunate news of my mother passing away. And Rosie shared her condolences. Also a check out I’d received a sympathy card, which was very thoughtful.

LOVED THE TEMPERATURE OF THE POOL! Perfectly warm!!!! Great location, room was clean and location was awesome. Only negative is we could hear a lot of noise from the road.

Pool, basketball court, and sitting area was a huge win with team tournaments. Very clean and nice size rooms

Cleanliness overall was good and barbecues were available . Pool was a little small but clean. The location was good for the baseball tournaments we had to go to.

Don’t stay in building #11 room 147B the room desperately needs a remodel and there is mold on the bathroom ceiling!

It was dispappointing that we had to stay in the model the first night and then move the 2nd day. After that the room was very nice.

We were there at 4 PM and they said our room wasn’t ready yet and they said they will call us when it is, they called at 5 PM and said it is ready, when we walked in the room, realized they gave us a Handicap room, which wasn’t too bad until we walked into the bathroom, there was open shower, no glass door nor a curtain and had only a handheld shower head that was only high enough up to my shoulders height, so for two days taking a shower was very challenging, the other problem was the bed, was very uncomfortable and very old and worn out.

Staff was excellent! The walls were thin so the street noise was loud and we could hear the washers and dryers working. Other than that, great stay! Hot tub was nice!

Walls are paper thin. Woke to the couple next door coming in at midnight. Could see their light come on through the door in our room (lock-off). Heard them having a midnight snack and could hear most of their conversation. No bath mat, so we used a towel for the tile floor. 1 hand towel. Not impressed. One bright light was Ryanne(spelling?) at the front desk - young, but knowledgeable and friendly. Won’t stay again - especially for the price (our Airbnb was $100 cheaper per night with a private pool).

The lady at the front desk was terribly rude, standoffish and very disrespectful!! It was so bad to the point another guest followed me outside and said she was sorry for the way I was treated! I called to talk to management and still yet to hear from them!! Not ok!!

When checking in we were told we’d been upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom… wonderful surprise! The room had everything we thought we’d need if we came back and wanted to stay longer. We were sad we were only staying one night !

The rooms were not clean. The floor and bathtub were the worst. We had to wear socks and the bottoms of the socks were black after we wore them. The bathtub looked filthy. I had them come and reclean it. Maybe because the tub was older it wouldn’t look clean. I could still feel stuff on the wall of the shower so not sure. It was nice to have a kitchen and a washer and dryer. That was a huge plus. Walls a little thin but again maybe normal. Someone needs to fix the door in the bedroom to go outside. It was broken. For the cost I would say it could be better. Staff at the desk was super nice. Maybe should have been a 3 but gave it a 4 based on that.

We were turned away at 10:45 at night because of “the breed” of my dog, and had to find other accommodation at the last minute after a very long day of driving

There were a few roaches and ants in my room. I was surprised and didnt want them to spray while in was in the room. I spent 5 nights there and was disappointed that i was unable to have any meals in my studio.

I was disappointed with my stay here because I’ve previously stayed and it was a nice. However, this time it was much different. The young lady at the front desk with blonde hair is very rude inconsiderate. She gave me a room and when I checked in to the room. I noticed that the couch was coming apart. The pillows were coming apart, and then I proceeded into the bathroom. I took a look around & the bathroom had wood that was coming off and there was broken parts at the bottom and I was worried about bugs. Then I started looking around the room. It was not cleaned. The room was extremely old with old furniture. I went up to the front desk and I told her that I wanted to have the same room type that I was in previously in. She told me no. I asked her why and I asked her for a supervisor. I was told that the supervisor is busy. This conversation went on and on for at least 45 minutes. I was literally sitting in the hotel lobby room waiting for some kind of resolution. Mind you I had already paid for my room and paid for deposit. To make the story short there was a Hispanic lady that came in young very nice and welcoming. I started talking to her and I explained to her that I have been here before and I know that these rooms normally do not look like this. That’s whenever I found out from the supervisor that came to speak to me finally after 45 minutes. It was a male. He told me that he would put me into one of the renovated rooms.

Clean room, nice 2 way shower, comfortable bed

The room was nice and with good amenities. It was an adjoining room which had guests who talked most of the night. Exterior soundproofing seemed minimal—we could hear most conversations being carried on by passersby. Reception was friendly and efficient. Location was a bit back from the road and road noise was minimized.

The room was great but you could hear the people next door talking. Parking was terrible. I had to park sk far away from where my suite was and walk.

There was a very strong chemical smell. I asked if someone could check it out. No one came. Then the smoke alarms came on twice. Then I finally asked for a new room. By then it was 1 am.

Room was ok, comfortable bed. The water temp in the room was slightly warm. Room had a jacuzzi tub, but before the water reached the level of the jets there was no more slightly warm water. None of this ended up mattering as the jacuzzi tub wasn't working anyway. Second night neighbors in next room sounded like Jerry Springer show live until around 1:00am. Staff was friendly and security responded to my call about neighbors quickly. Overall, the resort didn't live up to the price or my expectations. Left and went to stay at a Sure Stay which is much cheaper and the room at Sure Stay actually has hot water.

Carpeting was disgusting. Very dirty. Tile floor in bathroom was dirty and disgusting as well. Cockroach in my sink.

- noisy road 2 lanes each way bus 5am-7pm - never really saw the golf course - we faced the parking lot - this hotel (not resort) is in suburbia - not out in the open - they sent us to a room with people in it already - instead of apologizing and finding us a new room - they were more interested in who was in the room - asked for more towels and shampoo - they did not send - asked for more coffee - they were out - tvs are no name - watching playoff football was pixelated and grainy. - room was spacious and decorated like the 1980s

I stayed here with family. Our suite was on the second floor and had a nice view. The staff were friendly and professional. It did not appear as high end as other resort locations however the rooms were large and clean. The resort was more laid back and family oriented. The golf course was also nice. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Our room, a studio had torn sheer curtains. Holes in the light shades. Three light switches didn’t do anything. Bed was okay. However, the bathroom was nice and clean. I think the grounds were beautiful. Enjoyed the hot tub and walked around.

The room we were in smelled old and musty. You could hear everything coming from the room next-door. The pillows were really hard. We still enjoyed our time. Things were average.

Staff members were very informative and inviting. Rooms were beautiful and clean.

It was very nice, but the mattress was a little broken down, the right sink wasn’t draining properly, and the plaster in the jucuzzi tub was peeling. Nothing fatal and would stay there again for the great price!

I have been going to this hotel every year for 4 years now. Rooms are always clean and staff are very helpful. Pool is kept clean and temperature is nice. Shuffle board courts and pickle ball court where nice to use.

Pictures need to be updated, older hotel, only fast food close by, no restaurants, the pond was smelly, golf course back up to property but no real resort amenities, rooms were ok bed was comfortable, old jetted tub in bathroom very loud, staff was pleasant and accommodating for a Westgate I expected more.

The rooms are very outdated, the television remote in the bedroom didn't work at all, the television remote in the living room struggled to function. The toilet wobbled when you sat on it and when you got up, like it was loose. The bathtub plaster or plastic material had all types of scrapes, horrible wear and tear, so didn't even attempt to make use of the jacuzzi tub.

Room was not ready at 430 and was very dissatisfied by 11 pm when we finally were able to check in. We left 30 min later and they still charged for one night. I do have to say tho the front office staff was very professional.

Love staying here. From now on my stay will be here when I travel to Arizona or Orlando!!

This was the worst experience I have had in my travels.. we were kept awake four of the nights we stayed there.. three nights people above us were screaming outside our room for hours and then stomping and running over our bedroom. The last night there was a huge fight and people were screaming..I was so scared i didnt want to go outside my room.. Lastly the room was not very clean and bathroom sink didnt drain.. I was glad to leave..

The lady at the front desk was nice and professional. I love the outdoor pool. The room is nice. However, my husband found long hairs on his towel that he about to use after showered. Moreover, I noticed some long hair that was not mine at sink in the bathroom as well. Overall, the resort is very nice.

The room was clean but the vents where very dirty

I booked this hotel due to the close proximity to the Salt River. The first day we got there after flying 5 hours, they didn't have a room ready for us. Serena didn't know when our room would be ready. Check in is at 4, we arrived at 4:15. We went for a drive, came back at 6 and still no room. At that point, being tired and hungry and wanting to freshen up, we stated that we didn't understand why we didn't have a room. Serena became very flip-pent with us. I asked if it was a staffing issue and she said I told you that was the problem. My husband and I never heard her tell us that. Both of us being in management, we would have understood the problem and continued to wait. However, when asked if we could talk to a manager, she said, you sure can. Ok, is that person here. No. How about tomorrow? Yes. What time? I don't know. We finally got a room just before seven pm. They put us on the second floor street side with all the traffic. The place is clean but I have nothing else to say about it. Go to another area of Mesa for your stay.

Clean rooms and hreat resort overall

This was just a perfect riom and stay. In fact we are still here and had to extend our stay for four more days ! It is quiet ,clean,comfortable (the bed is extremely comfortable ) and has beaitidul clean grounds. It’s in a lovely location with a grocery store within a mile. Just overall exceptional !

This was my third stay at Westgate Painted Mountain in Mesa Arizona and I'm planning another stay here in a couple of months. I absolutely love the place. The facility is beyond any expectations and the staff are incomparable. The manager, Esteban, reflects the great customer service that Westgate is known for as do all of his staff! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone traveling to the Mesa area

The room was clean and the bed comfy. The ceiling fan was extremely loud (bearing noise) and the TV cable service you use is horrible. No TV guide, more commercials than shows (really, I timed them). Heck, Live TV has better options and less comercials than the cable provider you use. As a "resort" I would of expected better.

There was a large plastic tote left right outside the door to my Villa that had a used trash bag sitting on top of it that was not tied or sealed properly and some of the trash from the bag was scattered around on top of the tote and on the ground right outside the door. It was really disgusting especially because the trash bag was clear and you could see everything that had been disposed of. There were also a couple of small towels laying there that looked to have been used as rags to clean something up. It was really gross. The sad part about it was I immediately went to the front desk and notified them of this disgusting mess right outside the door and the following day when leaving to check out , nothing had been touched, the whole gross disgusting mess was still sitting right out my door. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Spacious room, clean, quiet, and it had a ton of fun activities.

Everything was amazing!!!! Had the 1 bedroom villa. Staff was friendly in every situation. Room was spotless and had everything my 2 kids ams i needed plus... the grounds and amenities are awesome. Keeps kids and parents busy without having to go anywhere. I can't wait to go back and to stay at more of there properties!!! Thank you for an amazing experience.

The suite was nice and large. The property is clean and comfortable. They say they have a business center but they do not, they have a printer w low ink and a computer mounted into the wall in front of the front desk.

Staff was amazing, very clean, pool beautiful, loved having a full kitchen, location was great. Was there for a sports tournament so easy to find a grocery store, close to many restaurants, easy drive to Apache trail and Superstition Mountains.

Nice place to stay, had washing machine and dryer in the villa which was nice.

The property was clean and well maintained. Rooms are comfortable but the bed was not. Our room needed a better mattress. It would have been nice to be able to have drinks at the pool. Great restaurant next store. Opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Golf course looked nice. Would consider staying again.

Excellent love staying here

Our room was not ready and I was traveling with 2 1/2 year-old twins. They called me at 10:35 PM and our room was finally ready. At that point I had already reserved another room. It cost me an additional $300. The biggest issues was that it was not communicated to me.

The unit was old, pieces out of cabinets. We were told to dial O for service. They were nice when they answered the phone. But did not get service. We waited sometimes for over 24 hours.

Was given room 438B in Building 10. Very clean studio but very small for 2 people. Only one night stand and the toilet paper holder was broken(petty). Had small kitchen area with small dorm fridge and microwave and sink. Coffee maker was a plus and it came with 2 place setting of dinner and silverware. Coffee pot requires your own filters and coffee. It’s basically an upscale motel with outdoor entrances and balcony seating. Building 10 is closest to McKellips so the speed limit is 45 mph and traffic begins at 5am and it’s like a highway! Also, with 438B, it’s got a door to adjoining room and is by far from soundproof. A family of 5 were in the 438A which is a two bedroom suite with the living room being the adjoining. Kids and parents could be heard all morning and evening (not a problem for me but could be difficult for others if you get this room (438B). Other than that, they don’t have maid service every day - it’s a you call them if you need them soooo I had I piled up towels and should have taken the garbage out every couple of days. I’d stay again but not with a room that adjoins and not on the McKellips side of the buildings.

A lovely report without all the resort fees! We loved all the amenities they offered, though we only used the pool. It was a lovely pool and hot tub. The mattress was a little too firm for me and our neighbors were a little too loud but other than that absolutely no complaints and will be staying there again in the future.

I love Westgate, so i hope they read this. The beds are uncomfortable, its time to replace them. I stay at Westgate annually, either for a holiday or when i can get away for a night or two. The property is well kept, clean, and the employees have excellent customer service skills.

Balcony

I was here with my family and it was a great hotel stay. the staff were very friendly and the amenities were great. The only issue was that I would’ve liked if the bathrooms were cleaned a little bit better as there was hair on the floor and in the bath tub. Otherwise I would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay

Rooms are amazing … like little casitas. Fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pans, etc. There is even a washer & dryer … it was perfect. We have stayed here a few times now and will continue to do so. It’s like our home away from home, we love it here. Pool is very well kept and has a very comfortable setup. We were able to park right outside our room, super convenient. Highly recommend staying here 😉A++

Terrible

I was not allowed to check in and stay, as I was pulling an enclosed trailer. The staff said even though there was plenty of room to park the pickup and trailer, it was not allowed. They said they would refund the room, I happily went elsewhere.

Lack of amenities

Room was pretty cozy and everything was there including the jacuzzi. However tub was bit dirty with hair and alarm clock was broken on the table next to bed and no one bother to replace it.

This is my second time staying here. I really enjoy the property. I stay when Visiting the eastside for outdoor activities. Lakes, hiking, river. Staff are very nice as well as friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Love enjoying the pool or relaxing in the hot tub. I’ll definitely be back soon!

What an incredibly relaxing place to stay and very budget, friendly, especially for an entire one bedroom apartment with a full living room, dining room and kitchen. The bed was super comfortable and everything was top-notch. Oh, and INCREDIBLY GOOD PIZZA!

The place was nice and quiet just the air went out on last day before checked out and maintenance was take the time to come and fix so our family slept in living room where it cool and still didn’t come fix it was 80 degrees in room. Very disappointing

I have been staying here for year when I visit Mesa, Az. This time I was a little disappointed when I found German Roaches in my room. They wanted to treat the room with me in it. I might be looking for a new place to stay.

Friendly staff

I would never stay here again the towels were dirty when we arrived to the room. The shower had red mold and the bed was super uncomfortable. The bed was on two twin spring box springs and felt like I was sinking in when I went to the middle of the bed. The coffee pot was broken and the fan made an annoying sound when you turned it on. This was suppose to be a remolded room. This room did not have a stove or a oven like I was expecting from the pictures. The walls are super thing and can hear everything on the other side of room.

So many activities right at the resort, and everything was neat and clean. We will stay here again

The second room we stayed in starting on Sept 9 was very nice. I assumed it was recently remodeled as it had nicer furniture and features. The first room was very dated. This last room we stayed it was 100% nicer.

The room was very dated, but comfortable. Furniture seemed very old. Guests upstairs from us were smoking skunk weed and it was very strong, smelly, and made it's way into our villa.

This was my second time hear. clean quiet this time a year. It was great!!!

Overall property is okay but it has roaches and really need to clean the rooms better a room should smell really bad when you walk in the room I was in carpet was filthy I wouldn't walk on that dirty ass without shoes on and in the shower

Beautiful pool area. Very respectful staff. My only complaint would be the floors in the room looked clean, but they turned your feet black.

Our stay was excellent! The hotel was super clean, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary supplies, including a dish washer and washing machine, which made our stay even more convenient. Overall, it was a perfect experience and we would happily return.

Room was clean but dated. Sofa and loveseat were unusable as they were very uncomfortable. The bed was very nice and the kitchen was a great addition.

I don’t get it. No sign on the street and down a little alley. Complete kitchen appliances but not even a glass, a plate or a fork. No coffee maker or coffee or breakfast.

The fold out couch bed is not comfortable. The stay was awesome! King bed was fine.

The Villa was very nice! The only issue was the Sofa pull out bed. Mattress was old and worn, thin, and could not be slept in comfortably, so we all slept on the King bed which was very comfortable.

I liked the proximity to nature. There were fun things to do with family like ping pong, swimming, large contect four.

We stayed in a renovated room the second time and it was much better. Love the pool and area.

When I asked the front desk if there was a way to charge my phone, the staff was somewhat dismissive. I was told to go to a nearby Circle K and was given no real assistance. When I asked if the room had a USB port, I was told I’d need to go elsewhere or purchase something. USB charging is a basic convenience nowadays, and it's surprising this wasn’t available. I ended up going to Walmart to buy a wall plug just to use my regular iPhone cord—which felt unnecessary & frustrating. The room looked okay at first glance but was clearly rundown upon closer inspection. There were patched-up areas and a general lack of deep cleaning. The worst part was discovering urine in the toilet upon arrival, which made the experience feel unclean from the start. I also asked the day before if I could have a later checkout since it was 10 a.m. & I’m used to 11 a.m. checkouts. I explained we had a reservation at noon, and the staff told me to text at 8 a.m. the next morning. I was ultimately granted a 30-minute extension, which I appreciated—but it felt unnecessarily complicated. Overall, I left disappointed. I’ve had better experiences at more basic hotels for a lower price. This stay didn’t feel worth the cost and left a lot to be desired in terms of service and comfort.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We love the privacy with not needing housekeeping everyday. Great to have the bbqs on site and the pool was very clean and quiet.

Room wasn’t ready until 10pm, lady said we could check out late … at 11:45 they were knocking on our door wanting us out or we had to pay $30 fee. Not okay. However the room was absolutely amazing! VERY spacious & cozy. Had dishes, amazing jetted tub & a washer & dryer. Crappy check in, poor customer service but once you are finally let in your room, we loved it. We will probably risk it and stay here again. Great pool area also. Very clean, well maintained.

Although the property shows some wear, you can tell that they are working on improvements Nice staff, great air conditioning, pretty grounds, and good parking.

Was not inpressed with a few things. The bathtub facet was faulty, the kitchen sink leaked badly, the pans where terrible and everything stuck to them. We pulled up next to the building to load our truck and someone who worked their was rude and told us we had to move. Just not impressed this time.

Facilities were nice, lots of things to do, I probably would not visit again in June, as it was just too hot, but the price was great. Very convenient and walking distance to a golf course and nice restaurant.

It was a great value,,, and I loved the little patio sitting areas and kitcheonette’s . Glasses, some dishes,etc. Very quaint older Spanish style and lovely pool area. Hot tub at pool not very warm but there was a warmer one off lobby. Felt safe, clean,, and great for families etc,,, although I also enjoyed it as a single person since I was there to help family.

The room was spacious for the price. The balcony was beautiful at sunset. The pool was a perfect temperature for the above average weather days. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked well with utensils. The washer and dryer were handy. Staff were kind. The decor and furniture was very outdated.

It was packed and not as nice looking as in the pics which is almost always the case. The room was the smelliest room I've ever stayed in so hopefully they can figure out what the smell was for the next guest, yes I complained. The room was really cute with mini kitchen and full bath.

We love staying at Painted Mountain! We are close to everything from shopping, dining and the Salt River but more importantly our grandkids. ❤️

It might be nice to also have a hairdryer available. This is the first property I've ever stayed at that did not have one available. Other than that, it was lovely and we will book here again.

Amenities were good. Rented a two bedroom suite and one extra one bedroom. Room not ready upon arrival, until after 6:30. Was told they were behind. Had food but found out Refrigerator was broken after we had put some of the food away. - called soon as we realized. was told we would have maintenance at 10:30 pm. No one came. Called multiple times and waited hours for no one to show up. At 12:39 am , staff member brought ice as the best they could do. Told they didn’t have extra refrigerator s to swap out. Spent our time moving food and getting ice, missed out on pool time and using amenities. Extremely frustrating night. Next morning, got locked out of room due to lock issues. Spoke to front office about both issues. Office said we were mistaken about who was helping us the night before as maintenance had left by the time we were helped. Regardless, the night was frustrating and explained how we were told maintenance was coming but never showed up. They set up maintenance again who came while we were eating. Tried to fix the refrigeration, made a comment about the light not working but never fixed it. Waited hours and it didn’t get any cooler, called maintenance again. Finally made it out to pool area. Nice afternoon, but then evening brought coach roaches at pool area. Stayed here before and it was really good, so we planned our birthday trip here- never again. So disappointed.

Wait times for a clean room are completely out of hand.

Conveniently located. Bed was subpar. My back was killing me after 2 nights. no maid service during stay. 1 TINY trash can for a four-night stay. Refrigerator didn't seem to be keeping things cold. Tried to keep a level of cleanliness in a small room.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. They had many amenities in the room, even a washer and dryer in my room. The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to any needs. The pool area was very nice, with 2 hot tubs. They even had life jackets for kids and adults. I would highly recommend this property.

Staff was nice, but some did not know how to scan a document when asked to. Krytina was exceptional. Give her a raise.

It was good for the price. Check in isn’t until 4:00 but check out is 10:00 that was inconvenient. The room was a little outdated but still nice. The only problem I had was the thin walls. I could hear everything next door and they were still talking at 4:00 AM.

The interior of our room was a little shabby. The wallpaper in yhe bathroom was beginning to peel and the bathroom smelled.musty.

I loved how the property kept in contact with me in regards to activities. It was a reminder that I wasn’t alone.

The room was clean and the bed was okay. There were light switches that didn't seem to operate any lights. The walls are a little thin or my neighbors were loud at 5 A.M.

Long day of driving, great check in experience, the front desk manager suggested local dining options and made me feel welcome.

Jetted tub did not work properly, it also ran out of hot water before it filled. Pillows horrible. Didn’t receive a check in packet. Were told there would packets to make coffee in the room but there was not. I called the front desk because we had no tv guide & was told it was on back of keycard, wasnt. Pool really great! Parking good. Grounds well kept, location great. Quiet. Price very reasonable for what we got
