    They misconstrued every aspect of my stay beginning at reservation , checkin ,and room type. The rooms require major renovation there was rust on the floors shower heads light fixtures the molding in the bathroom. The curtains to the balcony were filthy and mold was visibly clear. Stopped by front desk in the evening after being moved asked for front desk to contact me via phone. Nothing. We were there for a birthday celebration for only 3 days and were moved twice we grinned and barred the circumstances as we had engagements to attend so the steady moving set us back. I will not be staying at the Mondrian ever again. FontaineBleu will forever be my choice.

    The shower had mold , lights in the room wasn’t working properly, the tv’s wasn’t working properly, the closets had dust on the top shelf’s. The staff was not very pleasant. The property is over priced and not well kept. Would not stay here again

    We first arrived in the room they gave us was a suite and the only thing they had in there was a couch. Looks nothing like the pictures. The bedroom had two double beds and one nightstand and no plug-ins for lamps for your phones. They did upgrade us after we complained. The next room was better. It was filled with furniture and lamps and nightstands, but the blackout curtains weren’t blackout curtains. It was bright. The bathrooms had missing tiles and dirty grout. We had friends and other rooms and they were experiencing similar in their bathrooms. They really just need to update and remake a lot of repairs.

    I had booked the night before because I had a red-eye and some meetings right after I landed but wanted my room to be ready. I called the day of my actual check-in to let them know that I would be checking in the following day hopefully in the afternoon. When I came to check-in they told me they cancelled my reservation and marked it as a non show EVEN THOUGH I called the night before. On top of that - I booked myself to stay the weekend as a personal treat only to find out that the pool was closed. Had I been notified of that I would have booked elsewhere. The front desk was awful to me and basically tried saying I lied and never called to let them know I booked a night before purposefully.

    Property is very central and has a good Miami chill vibe. Rooms are big and their pool atmosphere is also amazing. We stayed there as a family of 4 and the experience was really good. Reception staff are also helpful as we had a few issues with the room which they resolved immediately. Will definitely stay here again.

    The best part of my stay was definitely the restaurant and bar area with the beautiful ocean view. Sitting by the table or bar while looking out at the water was very relaxing and enjoyable. However, there were several things that could be improved. The outside restaurant area was extremely hot, and the fans they currently have are not effective. I think the hotel should invest in better cooling systems or replace the fans to make guests more comfortable, especially in the outdoor seating area.

    A few things to note: the balcony had a significant amount of standing water due to the rain, which made it unusable during our stay. Additionally, the front desk staff could have been a bit more welcoming. There was also some confusion around late checkout. I was initially told to call in the morning, which I did. At that time, I was informed there would be a fee to stay past 11:00 AM, so I declined. However, I had a prior message from the hotel confirming that charges would only apply after 12:00 PM. After some back and forth, the situation was clarified, and we were able to check out at noon without a fee. Overall, still a lovely stay, with just a few areas that could be improved.

    Pool staff works very hard and they do a good job. Same as the restaurant staff. The unacceptable part is closing the pool for an event without notification at full cost without any alternatives set in place. That is not acceptable and then they do not allow bringing food in when the pool was basically closed and no servers were working. Just limited chair availability by the pool.

    I don’t usually leave negative reviews however this hotel was exceptionally bad. The photos misrepresented the actual state of the place. Dirty walls, carpet, bathroom, etc. I’m still shocked this place is operational. We randomly had a kitchen and the sink was off-gassing sewer odors the entire stay. I would pay extra to avoid this place.

    The room was in deplorable condition, garbage was left from the previous guest, bags and bags full of McDonalds and leftover food, first in the shower, mold on the shower door and showerhead, we could go on and on. The phone was broken and we could not call the front desk, the air conditioning did not work and needed to be reset. We left after one night and checked out early.

    The room needs work. The rug had gum or something smeared on it, the white cabinets hadn’t been cleaned and had crumbs on top of the cabinet doors, the bathroom wallpaper was damaged in places, the shower head and chandelier were rusted, the floors were discoloured. Staff weren’t friendly, understaffed bar meant no service so we left and the pool was overcrowded with people clearly not staying at the hotel. Haven’t stayed at the Mondrian in years but this once gorgous property is not what it used to be.

    Our view from the room was beautiful. However, the shower was not completely clean and neither was the floor in the room. Room service came but still didn’t clean thoroughly. There is no store on the property for snacks. You have to go next door and almost the whole area closes at 10:00pm including the room service, bar, and other amenities. Our best friend was CVS. The internet was not good either which I hadn’t experienced at a hotel ever. The rooms are not soundproof at all. The food was not the best.. I wouldn’t go back at all. I would recommend the Brickell area instead of being in this area.

    The atmosphere throughout the hotel is unmatched. The pool scene was beautiful, the ambiance was upscale without feeling pretentious, and every detail gave luxury.     This hotel is pretty outdated and can use remodeling in the rooms. Our bathroom floor was missing tiles, carpet had a ton of pulled threading and various areas had dents. The bed room door made a loud noise every time someone would open it. The pool is amazing and is the reason why we picked this hotel to stay at, you can’t beat the view.

    This property is fantastic because it is close to everything. The average uber ride is about $8. The good thing about this location that I like it’s a two minute walk to Whole Foods. If you want a home cook meal you can call downstairs to front desk and pots, pans, and silverware.

    Bed was hard as a rock. Overnight parking is too expensive. Most of the valets are rude and don’t help with bags. Nice little pool scene with a good mix of people and views. Can get loud and raunchy on the weekends. I feel it’s a decent price and you can get a pretty decent room with a good view of the bay. I rated this hotel higher for the years we been coming here but wife and I are approaching 40 and we have experienced more establishments to compare this to. Not sure if we will return next go around.

    If you enjoy old, dirty, poorly maintained rooms that feature used child swimsuits (and you don’t have children) with loud staff who stand around instead of assisting you and paying a premium for it, the Mondrian is spot for you! Slow service, stingy with towels, and rundown. Very disappointing. They took $300 off the bill, but no other accommodations for the conditions. Enjoy :)

    The bathroom was disturbingly unclean with the floor tiles very very grotty. The shower required gymnastics to enter as the door was next to toilet. There were coffee facilities but they were hidden and very hard to find... perhaps relocate to tge kitchen bench for ease of use! In the pool area, there were a lot of staff standing around doing nothing, and many tables were left unclean. Towels were not removed from lounge chairs, so very difficult to determine if any were free to use. There was not a lot of water provided. Location is okay but not vibrant like South Beach.

    Hi - When we arrived our room was not ready and we had to wait until 4:30 - was supposed to be ready at 4:00 pm. The room was not clean. The tv must have been broken and it was replaced with a 24 inch tv. It was old and not clean. Would not recommend staying here.

    I booked a suite with a balcony with a city view, upgraded to the bay view… but without my consent, Claudia at the front desk moved me to a 1BR instead of the studio… so when I checked out the price was like $300 different than what she quoted and they would not honor what Claudia initially quoted me.     The only downfall with this hotel is a $200 per night security deposit. I feel like that’s a little steep for long stays. I’ve stayed in other Miami hotels none charge $200 per day! The money is refundable but that’s not the point.

    There is no lounge or public mingling area upon entry to property There is a dark circular bar where I didn’t see anybody perched there ever .everyone is outside of course But the Mondrian lacks a warm welcome vibe as the entrance is so dark and the main reception desk is awkwardly located along a wall .. it feels like they tried to go full -minimalist but failed.

    Nice hotel on the harbor side. Used to be condos so the rooms are nice and big. Staff was very friendly, great location. a bit of construction near the pool deck but not bothersome. The pool doesnt get sun until 11-12:00. Bay side rooms are great however you can hear the noise from the bar and restaurant at night.

    This is my 3rd time staying here my family likes the view but it’s not worth it AT ALL!!!! I have money and I spend money but this place is not worth the aggravation and the rudeness!     the room on the penthouse floor had a beautiful view , but there were two closets , one was locked the other had a large vent that took away all the space to hang clothes , there were no dressers in the room so my clothes were left in the suitcase . also the bed was dropped on the floor on a platform , anyone with back pain or disabled as I am cant even sleep there

    location Hotel room devoid of anything and everything standard in a hotel. Not even a glass for water, let alone a coffee maker or anything else. For the price I paid, I expect an upscale hotel. Felt more like a prison cell. Perhaps your other guests tend to steal everything that isn't nailed down, but that's not my type of room/expectation. And at the price, it's atrocious.

    The Mondrian had all the appearances of a great place to stay for a weekend in the sun, but the devil is in the details. Checking in on a Fri, my room wasn't serviced until late afternoon on Sun. There was no body wash in the shower, though a space for one, so I used a bar soap. Then when I did get the servicing late Sun, a bottle with a very small amount was left in my bathroom but not mounted nor able to be mounted in my shower. There were smokers around the pool, and the smoking rules were not enforced. Yet any attempt to bring simply a water bottle to the pool was thwarted. The prices for the cabanas were very high, and thus many were unused. I would love to have used one but wasn't going to spend 400-500/day. The food at the restaurant was pretty decent but overpriced. Staff was generally pleasand and helpful, though name tags were not worn consistently, hence I can't really give them any shoutouts. One bright spot was the fact they provided free sunscreen at the bar, a lovely scented one at that.

    I’ve had a bad experience as I was charged twice for the deposit! The money left my account and the reception staff asked me to pay again as the payment was pending, however they pre-authorised the payment! I checked in on the 21st March 2026! I still haven’t received the funds back by 02nd April 2026! The room was dirty when I checked in, I requested to be cleaned, they cleaned on the second day, but the floors were never mopped properly throughout my stay and dust was not cleaned properly! I stayed for 8 nights and I have been told that they clean the room every 3 days! In 8 days my room was cleaned twice plus one time the second day correction! I was reimbursed for some of the resort fee, however the inconvenience of still waiting for my money back is not a great experience! The staff was kind enough to let me check out at 12:30pm instead of 11am.

    Location This hotel is so outdated and not worth the money they charge. Our room was very dirty when we walked in we had to call front desk to get the floors swept and cleaned ☹️ carpet was nasty, they clean every 3 days and on our cleaning day the room was not vacuumed, not mopped, shower wasn’t cleaned they barely made the bed? went to the front desk and they sent cleaners and their supervisor who saw that they didn’t vacuum, he told one of the ladies to come vacuum and she stated they didn’t have a vacuum ?. While I was downstairs waiting for their manager another guy came with the same complaint and they didn’t even give him clean towels and all he asked for was for them to change his sheets and give him clean towels. We were there to celebrate our friend’s birthday and all of our rooms were not clean. Never again will I stay in that hotel. Please, Please save your money and go somewhere else!

    Room was filthy- as if the toilet wasn't cleaned for ages. Staff was nice enough to change to an upgraded room when cleanliness was brought up. Even the upgraded room wasn't "clean" by acceptable standards. This Mondrian is very different than the one I stayed at years ago. It was the cheapest option of "nice places" in Miami Beach- I guess it just shouldn't be considered a "nice place" anymore. It's a shame- used to be good.

    Very disappointing trip. Physical plant needs an upgrade. No amenities in the room not even a shower cap or a bar of soap. So many rules. Enforced for us for example no water bottles allowed at the pool. But smoking was not allowed however people who were smoking cigarettes by the pool nothing was said to them. I communicated this to Charlotte the AI Concierge and she never responded.

    I mistakenly booked the wrong date and immediately reached out—both directly and through Expedia —to request a simple cancellation or date change. I even made a new reservation for the correct dates, yet the hotel made zero effort to assist. No reply. No acknowledgment. Nothing. For a hotel that presents itself as upscale, this level of disregard is unacceptable. I would seriously reconsider staying here based on how poorly they handle even the simplest customer requests.

    Property was pretty nice. Only issue was the cleanliness of the room. There was hair in the shower and sink. And toilet was dirty. Floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped and Carpet was not vacuumed. The shower knob was loose and came off the last day of our stay.

    Room condition was old and beat up. Statins on the wall, curtains and bathroom tiles. Bad quality and inadequate website description. Pool and main level was good. This hotel does not offer daily housekeeping and only on the third day of your stay. Garbage was not even cleared out. Floors were all crumbs and not vacuumed when we checked in.

    Other than that, the hotel itself is really nice. The property was clean, and the staff was super accommodating and easy to deal with, which I appreciated. It seems like the units are individually owned, so I guess the condition depends on who owns it and how well they keep it up.     The hotel building itself is fine, and the staff are great—especially the valet parking team. However, I was charged an unexpected $100 daily fee for “services,” which included $50 for parking and $50 for pool usage. This felt extremely unfair, as I would never have agreed to pay these charges had I known in advance. Unfortunately, due to this, I will not be using this hotel again.

    The room was not properly maintained. It didn’t feel tidy upon arrival, and the shower looked like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. I also requested housekeeping during my 3-day stay, but was informed that rooms are only cleaned every three days, which was inconvenient. Additionally, when my flight was canceled, I asked the front desk about extending my stay or exploring options, and the response I received was very vague and nonchalant. During this time i sat in the lobby for 2-3 hours figuring out my next move due to my flight cancel and not one person stopped and asked if i was okay or needed assistance although i didn’t but seeing someone in your lobby for 3 hours and not saying anything is weird to me. It didn’t feel like they were interested in helping or accommodating the situation. The only highlight of this hotel is the pool—it’s definitely the best feature. However, be aware that at the pool area, your total may be charged twice initially, with one charge later refunded as an authorization, which can be confusing.

    They don’t even give you a bottle of water. I waited about 30 minutes for shampoo to be delivered to the room. Asked for late check out and they did not wanted to give me the option. Asked for beach towels and they do not provide it either. The floor is broken in the reception, when you walk in is the first thing you see. I expected a better looking place and better service for the amount of money changed.

    What a waste! Rundown hotel- but what makes this even worse is reception- we have never felt so unwelcomed! I travelled with 3 kids- 4 guys standing at the front door, not a single one would help or even open the door, then getting to reception- we were greeted with negative attitude, zero help- paid $500 for one night btw- by far one of the worse hotel we’ve stayed at- I won’t mention the room- don’t waste your time or money- this would be a great $79/night hotel tho. Get your act together guys! Back in 2010, your hotel was great.

    room was not like any of the videos and pics I seen on Tikatok. everything was out dated and dirty. The bathroom was beyond disgusting. You can tell by the soap-scum and water spots that it was not cleaned at all. The tub was filthy . I would not even put my dog in there for a bath. Went to the front desk to receive a refund within 10 minutes of arriving . I had to wait for the manager to get off break and when she did she ran to the back and took forever to come out . She never even asked what happened never gave any apologies for the disgusting inconvenience. I got my things and left immediately. I'm still waiting for them to drop the charge and let my funds go . WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND ‼️

    I liked the front desk area and the pool area. It was very clean and staff was very nice and accommodating! I disliked how the initial impression of the property didn’t match with the rooms. My had broken light fixtures, moldy restroom, stained sheets, chipped furniture, and the ac wasn’t working. Was very disappointed with this since the room just didn’t match the price point.

    I’m not sure if we got a room that hadn’t been renovated, but it looked as though our room hadn’t been touched since the hotel opened in 2008. It smelled damp, the room felt cold because of lack of carpeting, the sofa had a stain on it that had been covered up with a blanket, and the bathroom was grotty. The hairdryer was so cheap that it gave me a shock. Just not comfortable or appealing in any way. The lobby was weirdly empty feeling and not welcoming. And the bar closed at 9:45pm on a weekend. I couldn’t wait to leave. That said, the staff were all nice and helpful. Sorry but I won’t be returning.

    Front desk and car valet staff excellent. Room large & comfortable. Complimentary coffee outside of exercise room ( that you need to stumble across).Outstanding location! Beautiful pool—rude pool staff. Mondrain water given at checkin disallowed with a nasty comment . When I attempted to move from a lounge without a cushion to one with a cushion, a burly pool attendant rudely stopped me saying he was reserving it for another guest. Cigar and vaping smoke blew in my face. Ugh! The pool was an all around horrible experience.

    Way over rated hotel I can’t believe it’s a 4 star. The queen beds are smaller than a full-size bed, . I’m not sure how they’re allowed to call them queen, I am 5 foot 10 and my feet were hanging off the bed., hallways painted black cover up all the unclean surfaces. I don’t think the baseboards have ever been wiped or dusted.. the doors don’t fully close. There’s a security guard when you’re going from the lobby to the pool. He is extremely rude. Makes you feel like you’re doing something wrong. He actually commented on some breadcrumbs that I had in my bag indicating no food allowed. Balconies head mold on them.. the view was nice . Site restaurant, nice view, friendly staff.

    The hotel is poorly maintained, charges resort fees and is not operating as a resort, main lobby is dark and the lobby bar was closed the entire time. The hotel is in a residential area which adds to a while lot of restrictions. Our room was old and poorly kept. Room maintenance is only every 3 days and then only upon request to be cleaned. I will never return or recommend this place( not a hotel) to anyone ever. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more. Thumbs down!

    The hotel was generally fine, but I am absolutely floored that the policy is to not clean the rooms daily (even on request). This is supposed to be an upscale hotel chain - at $500+ a night, you should be able to offer a basic amount of service that is pretty much table stakes at every hotel I have ever stayed at.     The reservation was for a king-size bed, we got a full-size bed, old mattress, fortunately also very close to the floor. The bed was so narrow my wife fell off the bed, no injury given the low height of the "bed". The floor was dirty, sticky. Very poor value. Not recommended.

    When I booked this hotel I selected and paid for a king suite. When I arrived there were no king suites available and the hotel tried to convince me that king and queen size beds are the same thing. After demanding that the hotel provide me with what I actually paid for, I was told I could move into a king room the next day. We decided to leave as the hotel is a very far cry from what is shown in their online profile. Would not recommend staying here.

    We paid a lot of money for our view of Miami across Biscayne Bay. Other than that, the room was worse than a comfort inn. Bed and pillows were comfortable and hotel was quiet. Staff was hard to understand. Room seemed overpriced- no parking, and extra fees not included in the Expedia listing. All fees including a ‘resort fee’ need to be listed as part of the Expedia listing. Not enough places to plug in tech. No luggage racks snd not enough places to sit and relax. The mini bar was super overpriced.

    DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is NOTHING like advertised. The rooms are absolutely horrible. Dirty, dingy, outdated, not maintained, not properly cleaned, old, worn, I could go on. I felt like I was staying in someone’s un-kept apartment. Beds are less than 2 feet off the ground. Bathroom was extremely unmaintained (soap scum on shower doors, walls and floor). I won’t say it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but, it is in the top three!

    The highlight of the stay was definitely the restaurant on the water. The setting is beautiful, the brunch menu had great options, and the wait staff was warm and attentive. That part of the experience really felt like what you’d expect from a Miami stay. The room and service side of the experience missed the mark in multiple ways: After a long flight, I arrived to a room with no hot water, which lasted for most of the day. Several lights in the room weren’t working, and when maintenance came, they told us it was a larger repair that wouldn’t be fixed until the following week. The room itself felt very underwhelming for the price point, at one point I literally joked that the dining setup looked like an IKEA table. Not what you expect from Mondrian. Late at night (around 1:00am), my friend Erika and I got locked out of our room because the door lock stopped responding to key cards. It took three different staff members and about 30 minutes to get us back in. There was also no coffee in the room, which felt like a basic miss. When I went to the front desk to ask for some sort of make-good for all the issues, I was met with a blank stare and told there was nothing they could do, which was probably the most disappointing part. Overall, the property has great potential and a beautiful location, but the room quality, maintenance issues, and lack of customer service recovery really impacted the stay. I expected more from Mondrian, hoping they tighten things up because the bones are there, but the experience didn’t match the brand.

    Loose tiles all over the entire suite (850 sqft 1bedroom w/ balcony) rusted show heads a door that didn’t latch the staff allowed someone up to the room after I told them they were not allowed. The staff also opened the door randomly one night without any notice because it wasn’t latched. Paint slopped onto the door handles and dirty showers… oh and a massive hole in the couch held together with safety pins that I didn’t know about until I was stabbed by one.

    We were appalled at the poor quality and cleanliness of this hotel, given the price and name. We reserved 3 rooms for our family, and they all felt and looked dirty. One room had pubic hairs in the sheets and the other with food leftover in the kitchen. There were stains and chips everywhere and crud piled up in all the corners. Honestly it was shocking. The rooms were poorly designed, especially the bathrooms, with literally no place to put anything and a roll of toilet paper hanging into the trashcan. There were a bunch of useless empty cabinets but nothing to feel like any service or comfort, and unfortunately we heard people walking/talking loudly in the hallways all night as well as sirens etc. We spent a few hundred dollars on room service and dinner arrived unceremoniously in cardboard boxes in a plastic bag like a cheap takeout, and we spent a fortune on a breakfast for 9 people that never was quite right, multiple mistakes in the order, missing items...and while everyone at the hotel was very nice, there was really no feeling of service or any attempt to make things right.

    Front Desk seemed overwhelmed but there weren’t many guests being served at the time of our check in; woman assisting us wasn’t a great listener, I had to repeat myself 2-3 times; we weren’t offered the complimentary Prosecco and no water bottles either, there was a community water jug in the lobby. Rooms were spacious, very contemporary with some Miami flare…all good. But the room finishes were tired and maintenance touch ups sloppy. Overall the team was short staffed, especially in the restaurant. I would return, but only for the view and convenience of the location. I hope their team can improve!!!

    We had to change rooms and it was an horrible experience. They made no effort to help, and gave us a much lower floor than promised, (4th vs 16th). To compensate, they said they would give a $100 credit, then never did. Now going back for a 3rd time to get this credit. 2 of the 4 front desk team we worked with over our 2 night stay was very condescending.

    We had an “accessible” room which may be why it was so spacious and lacked some basics like luggage stands or other places to splay open bags. The bathroom, regardless of guest type (occupying a wheelchair or otherwise), lacked a counter or alternate place for toiletries & the toilet continued to run after flushing, but overall the kitchenette was functional (w/sink, fridge microwave & coffee machine), contributing convenience for longer stays. Great location, comparatively less expensive than area hotels with a great lobby bar (and awesome bartender, George), a really good restaurant that offers inviting indoor & outdoor dining spaces.

    The bad: room furnitire was old, outdated and very dirty/soiled. the room itself was dirty with skittles wrappers on the balcony the sink faucette was broken. Nowhere In the shower to hold personal toiletries. I had to put them on the shower floor and clean the room myself. I found the housekeeper in my room taking on the bathroom phone. There's more just too much to type. See pics attached The ugly: I was racially profiled at the pool. I was told I needed to prove who I was to be served Even with the hotel wrist band on. The server asks me for ID or a credit card. Yet the security guard put a band on my arm without checking my ID. I asked 3 white men if I needed a card or Id they said" no!! You have the band, they didn't ask us for ID. So basically their security is poor so I have to be mistreated because of it. SECURITY SHOULD KNOW WHO IS COMING AND GOING.

    The toilet did not flush well; there were rings that showed the toilet hadn’t been cleaned for days. The walls and the floor of the bathroom were very dirty. The shower barely worked. I had to finagle the handle to make sure the handheld at least worked—And there was no way I was showering in that shower without slippers on. I called downstairs to have them clean; only after the second call did They finally send someone upstairs. I am so glad I watched her “clean” because she used dirty towels to wipe the toilet and picked up the toilet roll from the waste bin to reuse (that was soiled by the maintenance man who unclogged our toilet). I had to tell her to take all that away and to please use bleach spray to clean toilet and all the surfaces. Secondly I had to ask her to change all the sheets in the room- so much HAIR found on the floors and random hairs in our beds. When I complained I was told rooms are only cleaned every 3 days. On check out the payment machine did not work. We had to leave so asked her to charge when she was able to. I did not get to review charges and I also never got a call back from manager as requested. Twice. I am not happy I spent that much money on a room that was like this- over 2600$. I feel ripped off.

    Room was ok . Paint peelings here and there alottttttt of noise !!! You can literally hear everything. The person upstairs shower, the person next-door shower, everybody talking, and walking in the hallway everybody’s shutting their doors. Etc New Year’s party was fine. I just wish for the amount of money that they charge people to come to the New Year’s party that we’re staying there for New Year’s. They would have played music that wasn’t all Spanish music for everybody that was there to enjoy.

    We reserved a 2 bedroom suite facing the bay. The suite was spacious but definitely not clean when we checked in. Bed pillows and sheets had sort of stains on them. They replaced them immediately once we told the front desk. Now, the rooms are pretty tired and in desperate need of renovations. TVs were old and for 3 days the TV app box didn’t work. Called many times but couldn’t fix it until a day before we left. The location of the hotel is great though and overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff was very attentive to our needs.

    The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. After my 30 year career in hospitality and events, I expected half decent service for the $300 price tag. I also informed the hotel it was my birthday and they did an upgrade and tried it charge me. I would strongly recommend not staying at this property. Save your money and go to the brand new hotels like Kimpton Palomar.

    HORRIBLE!!!! When we first checked in and went to our room it wasn’t clean! The bed and bathroom was still dirty…. We moved to a “clean room” and was given a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine…. got settled and noticed a roach on the table, shortly after another roach was on the bed! The front desk wanted to put us in another room but we demanded a refund and immediately took a Lyft to another hotel!     Room furnishings were sub-par for brand and price point. Housekeeping service was atrocious- dirty baseboards and floors. Ostensibly “clean” every other day for sustainability. Not so, towel change only. No wipedown of counters, baseboards, vacuuming, or floor cleaning. Dirty glass remained throughout stay. Front desk staff empathetic, appreciated them. Lobby bar/coffee was never open during our almost week long stay. Ridiculous. To access pool, guests are turned away if arriving with outside coffee, or juice. Bags are checked. Way to execute on brand.

    The short Latino woman at the reception should be fired and should not work in a hotel she was always on her phone and didn’t care at all about the clients, same thing for the african american man at the entrance of the pool who was very rude to a family of clients. They do not know how to talk to clients properly. I was shocked. You will be ask every single time, no matter how many times you go the to the pool area, to open your beach bag because they do not trust their clients to not bring drink or food from the outside even water ! A family with a baby was rudely ask to trow their water in the bin.. I’ve never witnessed such a thing. And when you checked out, no one ask you how your stay went or wish you to come visit again. This is not at all a luxury hotel, it is at top a 3 stars hotel with very bad services. The pool and the view do not worth the bad services and the unprofessional and unqualified staff, you will find so much better in Miami.

    The air conditioner was extremely cold and there was no remote to control it. There were no electrical outlets near the bed, which made it very inconvenient to charge my phone. The bathroom had no labels or instructions for the hot or cold water. The conditioner dispenser was completely empty, and it was clear that the room was not checked properly before my arrival. They also asked for extra payments even though I had already paid online, and the room was not clean at all. Unfortunately, I also felt that the staff treated me in an unprofessional and discriminatory manner. I strongly advise guests not to waste their money here. If you want to enjoy your stay, there are much better hotels in Miami. I am not writing this review out of anger — I have my own restaurant, and I know mistakes happen. When customers complain, I apologize and fix the issue. But this hotel didn’t take responsibility for anything. They put me on the third floor near the gym, and when I asked politely to change rooms, they made fun of me and then moved me without any respect. This hotel needs serious supervision, and honestly, I believe it should be closed or completely re-managed. It was a very bad experience, and I do not recommend this hotel at all.

    extremely BAD- DO NOT STAY OR BOOK HERE! We had to move hotels after the first night and they didnt offer us a refund- we found FRESH RED BLOOD on the sheets, rooms were EXTREMELY dirty (black mould, human hair clumps, broken furniture). this place is a HEALTH HAZARD, we wasted our time and money staying here. DUVETS are also VERY THIN, so dont expect to be comfortable even if your room is clean! We will never be back and would warn anyone against staying here, staff were very complacent and they seemed used to folks cancelling and leaving- and seemed annoyed with US. But we draw the line at fresh blood on the bed sheets!

    Our beach bags to carry our essentials were checked for entry to the pool. I felt very offended by this. If you’re guest at the resort, this should not be a requirement to get into the pool area. The only requirement to allow access is to verify our room number. I ordered 3 drinks at the bar. I paid double the cost, over $60. The lady at the bar did not give a receipt to verify what I was paying for. She gave me a receipt to sign for payment. The drinks were offered in 8oz plastic cheap disposable cups. The lounge chair cushions are run down and disgusting to sit on. I have photos. My room could use some renovations.

    Sincap was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. No matter how luxurious it looks in the photos, their service is absolutely terrible. Even the lowest-quality hotels offer complimentary coffee or water in the room, but this place tries to sell them for an overpriced amount. The rooms are definitely not clean — nothing they claim to be clean actually is. If you don’t want to waste your money and be disappointed, do not go there. The photos are absolutely misleading.

    I have been coming to South Beach for twenty years and have always stayed at the Mondrian. The hotel needs updating. The carpet in the room was dirty and worn. The bathroom faucet was loose. The shower door did not close properly. The bathroom floor was stained. The bed was very uncomfortable. The sofa in the room was stained. The staff was the only thing that I would rate as very good.

    I am trying to get in touch with a proper management for the refund of my money cause I leave there on the 15th of October around 8:30 am they have camaras so they can see but yet still they are tell me I leave on the 16th and after back and forth with the manager or so I told she is the manager she than said I leave after 2:00pm so I could not get a refund which my flight leave since 11:50 in the morning so I don’t know how I could leave at 2:00pm to be in DC at 2:00 pm I send my itinerary for her to take a look at it and still NO refund , I need my refund cause yall charging me for a night that I was not there and leave since on the 15th in the morning at 8:30am you guys need to carefully review your cameras , checkout front desk and valley parking cause I check out everything since the 15th 8:30am.

    I have stayed here numerous times in the past, but haven’t been in about five years. I ain’t noticeable change in the property. Staff were unaccommodating. We had a package delivered, and it was attempted to be stolen internally. We also did not have a seamless check-in and our group could not get into the suite on time. Rooms are only cleaned once every three days and will not be able to do it Upon request. Poole does not allow you to bring anything poolside which is the first I’ve seen of this. Staff is more concerned about the rules than the guest experience.

    The hotel, though? She’s seen some things. Let’s start with the balconies—more rust than a 1990s bike left out in the rain. Add in some mysterious dirt and you’ve got a real “urban archaeology” vibe. The bathroom? Let's just say I’ve seen cleaner rest stops off the highway (We had to ask them to come clean it)—and those at least don’t charge daily resort fees. Speaking of charges: Need a pen and paper? Better have $7 ready, because apparently this place is on a “bring your own office supplies” plan. There is nothing in the room that you won't have to pay for use of. Between the fees, the parking rates, and basically getting nickel-and-dimed for existing, I got the sense they’re one step away from a going-out-of-business sale. The staff is the only thing keeping this place together—like glitter glue on a preschool project. A+ people, D- everything else.

    Poolside was solid—we lucked out with bench lounge chairs (first come, first serve), which made for a relaxing day. Service by the pool was friendly, and the food was actually better than expected. The mahi mahi burger with fries hit the spot, and the frozen drinks were perfect for Miami heat. Overall, the vibes were good and we enjoyed the amenities, but for the price point, I wish the rooms matched the quality of the pool and beach experience.

    The room is outdated and unkept. My blanket was torn with blood stains, the bathroom sink was broken and dirty. The lobby had a great smell and the staff was pleasant. However, there needs to ne better maintenance to the units.

    We were also disappointed to find that most of the areas you see in the photos are MUCH smaller than they appear.. JUST a Hotel, can’t sit at the bar in the pool area after 6pm to have a drink and watch a game.. Hotel Lobby- Nice and Clean Great room size- we had 1BR with balcony-partial bay and city view Food we ordered at outside bar and pool area VERY GOOD Location- Walk to many conveniences-Food, Grocery-etc Pet Friendly

    In my first room the couch was so dirty and stained that I was afraid to even sit on it. The shower door looked like it was about to fall off. I called the front desk and while they did say they could switch my room, the manner in which I was told seemed like I was bothering them. The woman in the other end of the phone quickly said "yeah just go see the front desk and they'll switch your room". It was easy to get a new room but it wasn't much cleaner. At least I wasn't afraid to sit on the couch. Now I'm not a germophobe but I also don't want to live in somome else's filth and the corners of most of the rooms were dirty. The bottom of the bath mat after my first shower was disgusting as if I was the one cleaning the floor with it. The mini fridge that's hidden under the counter (no one told me where it was) is basically useless because it's full of their overpriced items so there's no room to put your own groceries. I was afraid to take them out for fear of getting charged for them. The hutch that they keep the Keurig and microwave in is completely unnecessary. There was no trashcan in my room. They came into my room to "clean" and make my bed even though I didn't request it. And the TVs are the slowest. Also don't bother renting a car unless you want to pay them $70 A DAY for valet. I'm usually not one to put up negative reviews but for the caliber of hotel this place pretends to be I expect WAY more. I would never stay here again. Holiday Inn is better than this place.

    While the hotel lobby and pool are nice, the room itself was very dated and not very clean, so I ultimately felt that it was not worth the price. The food at the hotel restaurant was good and the view from the restaurant is gorgeous; however, considering that the restaurant accepts reservations from non-guests, I didn't feel that the restaurant experience was enough to justify the stay for me. The hotel is located in a prime location though

    The staff were not very friendly. We were never greeted when entering the hotel by any of the staff, doormen or front desk. Staff never came to our room when we notified them that there was no safe in the room. They simply moved us to another room. The shower head never stopped leaking during our stay. Key card in for new room had to be re-activated repeatedly. This was annoying.

    At first glance its a beautiful property. It smells amazing! Then, our room had dirty sheets, dirty shower, the couch had stains. Only 1 elevator worked during our stay and the food/drinks were overpriced! I had a cup of coffee from the outside and they wouldnt let me in the pool area with it! You pay $200 a night for incidentals and 1 working elevator, dirty sheets, $400 day beds. Not worth it in my opinion

    Front desk attendant was very rude. I had checked out in the morning and came back a few hours later (my flight was cancelled, bad weather) I asked to return and was told I’d need to pay the “resort fee”$153 AGAIN!! I’ve stayed here before for the convenience, however I found another place for HALF the price and no “resort fee” especially during a torrential rainstorm…. As I stated I had just checked out earlier in the day…. Never Again will I stay at the Mondrian

    $1600 unexpected fees at check in, held in my credit card. Staff not very friendly. One restaurant, poorly attended. High prices. Room service every 2 days. Lobby dark & dingy. Lobby bar only open on weekends. Just not above place. It is actually an apartment building, with long term residents. Sliding doors to balcony are extremely loud and disturbing to hear from upstairs while I was sleeping. Dining chairs can be heard very loudly, from upstairs, scraping across the floor. Poor choice for furniture. Shower water pressure was low.

    Our room had a lot of “minor” but noticeable things needing to be fixed giving it a bad look. I’ve stayed at hotels with less stars that had better conditions than our room at the Mondrian. We’ve stayed here before and did not have this same experience, but from the moment we walked in, the desk staff did not greet us, explain why she was running my card, didn’t offer the complimentary water or glass of champagne, or tell us to enjoy our stay and just walked away.

    At check in, I was offered an upgrade to a room with a balcony and it was fabulous! Marvelous view of downtown Miami with sunset. We really enjoyed the pool and having a mimosa at the outside bar. Breakfast right on the bayside was charming. And the Baia SPA not to be missed! I treated myself to a massage and it was superb!!

    Overall I enjoyed my stay because the property is pretty nice. But I want to make everyone aware that there is a $200 a night hold that I was not made aware of until the night before check in. I was aware of the resort fees but not the expensive hold!!

    The ambiance, staff, and decor in this hotel was amazing! The room service and bar had great options, it was close to many places. Staff was attentive and responded quickly to all of my requests. The only 2 con I had was the living room TV not having any sound and the bed was too low and little uncomfortable for me.

    This hotel was overly hyped and overpriced. Some workers were great others not so much you choose to spend your money to stay at a place and have to pay 50 per nite to park 45 per. Night resort fee ontop of the hundreds you spend eating and drinking there because you cant bring your own stuff to the pool you paid to use. Rooms were not as clean as pictures show. Main entrance was dirty . Lobby bar was never open . Booked a king size room got a queen bed when tried to change me they gave me a king bed with a crappy view so i had to settle for the queen unless i wanted to pay $255 more that the employee's requested in cash since they were “ hooking me up” aka they were pocketing the 255.

    When I say I would NEVER STEP FOOT in this place again! They waived the resort fee when I showed the front desk the photos, but honestly I should have requested a full refund. They have the nerve to only offer housekeeping on the 3rd day of your stay. WTH. I'm thinking about contacting the health department, because there is no way a business should be operating like this! I felt like me and my family were at risk for getting sick behind their practices. Thank you to the entire management team for ruining our family vacation because the conditions of this resort is well known to them! Shame on me for not checking the reviews first.

    There is only one beachside restaurant and its menu offers very few options. We ordered food from outside, but were not allowed to eat it anywhere on the hotel premises. The place is very dirty, full of dust and grime. It is a shame because the location is excellent and the view is stunning. The common areas are also nicely designed, but they are not clean.

    I used to love the Mondrian and often recommended it to my clients, but unfortunately, the hotel is long overdue for a renovation. Upon my check in, I had to switch rooms three times due to cleanliness issues — stained rugs, un-mopped floors, dust, and even urine around the toilet area. The pool water was also uncomfortably warm, and although I brought it to the staff’s attention, nothing was done to address it. That said, the poolside staff were friendly and accommodating. However, based on this experience, I won’t be returning.
