Reviews
The hotel receives generally positive reviews for its location, staff, and amenities, but there are some consistent complaints about construction noise, cleanliness, and hidden fees. Some guests also mention issues with housekeeping and room size.
- Great location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Construction noise
- Cleanliness issues

No gym, no sitting area. Noise started at 8am. I pray this hour will be worth all stress my friends and I went through
- 5/5
Currently under construction but when it is completed it is going to be awesome. i hope i have an opportunity to stay again! Even though it was under construction the stay was phenomenal- I have to be honest. The staff was so kind and understanding of how inconveniencing only having one elevator to use (while the workers were using). The food was DELICIOUS- breakfast and lunch. The beach staff was really awesome too. I literally have nothing negative to say- location, perfect- hotel and beach ( no riff raff from South Beach). The walk to the beach is BEAUTIFUL as well, lit up with tall bamboo- SO nice. The rooms are very nice too- cute and beds were very comfortable. The scent in the hotel is amazing as well. Great stay and recommend for couples or families. LOVE the Nautalis!
- 5/5
Staff was excellent, great room, was under construction and they had complementary breakfast and chairs and umbrellas. Staff was flexible with late checkout bc of the delay of my flight. Great spot for the price 2 min walk to the beach.
- 5/5
the hotel was under construction but the staff make the trip amazing, their customer service is a great service. nothing
- 0.5/5
Nothing * Maintenance work taking place throughout the property. * Water supply was completely shut off, with the hotel only informing guests it would be unavailable between 11 AM and 4 PM. * No hot water available at all, even after the maintenance was supposedly completed. * Constant noise, drilling, and construction disturbance, despite this being marketed as a luxury and relaxation-focused property. * Basic luxury amenities commonly expected in reputable hotels were missing — no bathrobes and no slippers provided. * Only one elevator available, and it smelled strongly of maintenance chemicals and was noticeably dirty. * Even the outdoor seating required an additional charge of $35 per person.
- 1/5
Terrible hotel that appears nothing like the photos.
- 5/5
Location!!! Great Location for what we wanted to do. Construction but they took care of us with the cost because of it. Loved that it was right on the beach! There was an African American gentleman named Jeremy or Jeremiah that assisted us. It was absolutely amazing and took amazing care of us. He made the annoyance of construction bearable
- 5/5
We had no other place to go and asked what more they could do for us. We received another 50% off our stay. We had an enjoyable stay, the restaurant staff were very accommodating, as were housekeeping and reception. The beach was beautiful with full access. Once the reno’s are done I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and even with this current stay we had a great F1 vacation. Expedia was quick to refund our 50% off as well.
- 1/5
The Property is under construction so the amenities were not available. I did not stay at the hotel so I didn’t get the full experience. Staff were helpful under the circumstances though.
- 2/5
Then $10 for can of coke at that make shift restaurant !! Rip off… Staff was curtious - esp at the beach. Reception as well.
- 2/5
Location was great. Most of the property is under construction. They would also start construction early in the morning, jack hammering and sawing so you will not sleep well. Was hard valeting the car a couple times due to construction at the entrance with workers present. Pool was functional but there is demolition in areas around the pool due to construction. I would make sure the construction is finished before staying here.
- 1/5
The entire hotel is torn apart for a major renovation. Bars, cabanas, lobby, and workout room are all closed. Construction noise, drills, jackhammers, etc. begins early in the morning. Construction materials, and temporary walls and fences are everywhere. The best part though was that our room only had cold water. This hotel should not be open during such a massive renovation!!
- 5/5
We didn’t find out about the hotel being under renovations until after the fact but the staff did a nice job although there is no bar currently just beer and wine beachside and no dinner or drinks after 3pm so if you’re by the beach you have to leave to get drinks or food. A lot of noise in the AM but overall the hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. Always been one of my favorite places to stay. I hope they wrap up the renovations soon.
- 1/5
The hotel was undergoing full construction and renovations. There was nothing mentioned about this condition from neither hotels.com or from the direct page of the hotel website. We paid a lot of money to be at this location and it was totally unacceptable by any standard means of accommodation or experience. Works, demolition noise, the site was completely ridiculous - to leave NY for supposedly a relaxing place and instead getting stuck with this situation.
- 2/5
Great location, nice stuff and clean comfy room. This hotel is under construction currently. No lobby, and restaurant or bar. Limited access to the pool. Noise from the renovation from early morning.
- 3/5
On the other hand the room was clean, the staff was friendly. But right now it is definitely a good option if you’re looking for a hotel with amenities.
- 3.5/5
The whole hotel team was very nice and worked hard to compensate the hotel is under a huge refurbishment ,Tatiana ,from the front desk was amazing , as the whole hotel team I think the hotel should need to explain very clearly how is the condition of the service and what is closed ,The Fitness Center was closed, Spa ,Closed,no Room service, the pool was closed but some people were swimming ,there was no hot water in my room, so it's better contact the hotel before you make the reservation
- 1/5
The staff at a temporary front desk were extremely apologetic and helpful, but there was nothing they could do; except warn us about the conditions and noise due to construction. Extremely disappointed that this not disclosed anywhere. We wasted a good part of a day to find an alternative solution. Shame on Expedia and Nautilus!
- 3/5
No bar. Hotel is under construction:(
- 3/5
While I did receive ample warning that the hotel was under construction, I did not expect that almost every amenity other than the pool and beach would be shut down. The lobby, bar, restaurant, patio and rooftop bar were completely closed off. Other than, location and staff were still great!
- 3/5
Staff and location. Was under construction, amenities were lacking. Rooms were very small. Could be a lot better for the cost.
- 0.5/5
Hotel was under renovation which was never mentioned to me. their handymen/workers started their day with terrible noise at 6.40-7AM EVERY DAY. Phone and TV didn`t work, water was leaking from the shower, pool was open till 4PM only and was dirty. room was tiny and window was dirty and facing construction. for the price they charge I would never go there.
- 0.5/5
Nothing, hotel is under construction. Hotel is under construction, all promised amenities are not available including pool area dining facilities, lobby . Building looks after the war and construction noise started at 8am on Saturday. Booking.com did not informed about current construction and charge the full amount 3 days prior to arrival, which is not acceptable in those conditions, since we arrived at 8 pm and car was already valleyed overnight. Hotel was basically empty...What a huge disappointment with Booking.com - charge $500 a night for such disaster. We will make official complain for this practice - we used your site for many years traveling overseas and locally, but not anymore.
- 1/5
Not nice staff at front desk , old mattress , really small bathroom , no drawers for clothing ,
- 4/5
Currently they are under renovations so there’s a lot of construction and there is a building being renovated next door - lots of Jack hammers. Stayed before and if not for this 5 Stars!
- 2/5
They are remideling. Hotels.com did not mention most of hotels was being underconstruction with loud noises. Pool was nice. Location was good
- 5/5
Small not overly crowded and was able to fit family of 6 in one room. Not for cost but for all being together Roof top wasn’t available
- 2/5
It wasn’t disclosed until we got to check in that the entire facility is under a major renovation. Amenities were very limited due to the construction. Entire property is a construction zone. If you’re going to relax, find another place to stay!
- 2/5
I can’t believe they dare to charge what they charge for the room they give you! The only thing they have going is that the furniture is new and it’s clean! You can hear everything! The neighbors came in at 5:00am and made noise till 7:00 the hotel is getting renewed you come in and it’s all construction. The view from my room was horrible! Thank god I only booked one night.
- 3.5/5
Location - Location - Location it was Good - once the construction is completed - it should be EXCELLENT
- 5/5
Although we did not have a beach view room, it was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing and accommodating. The beach, pool, bars, and restaurants were in close proximity.
- 5/5
The property was clean, room was comfortable. Didn’t have a view but the restaurant, pool and beach access made up for that.
- 2/5
The view was great. However the property is undergoing a major renovation and is in badly need of it. They gave us a room with marginally warm water and told us to just run the water in the sink to see if the shower got hot.
- 3/5
Beach and beach service was great, however the pool is outdated and my room’s bathroom was disgusting and unusable - the shower didn’t even work.
- 2/5
The room was too small for 5ppl even though it was advertised for 6. Not enough closet space. We had to leave our clothes in suitcases. The bathroom was ridiculisly small, no vent. The elevators didn’t work. Construction was happening so we had that sound everyday going on.
- 5/5
Very clean. Staff is amazing.
- 5/5
After reviewing many hotels in the area we took a chance on Nautilus and so glad we did! The hotel had upscale vibes, beautiful pool area and private beach area with free beach chairs. The staff were so incredibly friendly, helpful and considerate. It’s been a long time since we’ve experienced that level of welcome. There was construction at the hotel next door which was noisy by the pool during work hours during the week, but it honestly wasn’t that bad and we of course had the option to go to the beach. It was also very family friendly which we appreciated.
- 5/5
everything about this property was beautiful and welcoming clean and staff helpful and friendly definitely recommend
- 4/5
Small rooms
- 1/5
Room overshadowed by massive construction site and two cranes. Construction workers could look into window. Hotel could not find a workable replacement room. Quality of hotel has declined noticeably over past four years.
- 1/5
I work in hospitality for 12 years in a 5 start property, so I know how the rates and the hotel work here in Miami. They give a room with no view and hotel construction all day that never been say o aware on the web side so we left the property waiting for refund
- 1.5/5
They didn’t have hot water! They promise to fix it during 3 days but they didn’t! I should change hotel. In addition, they are doing big big construction in the next hotel. It is very noise! You can hear that from the room, pool, etc.
- 2/5
Really small rooms for the price.
- 3.5/5
Despite paying USD 400 per night, I was initially assigned a room with a window facing a wall. I was told this was what I had booked, and only after lengthy discussions and speaking with the manager was I moved to another room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in that room did not work. After more than two hours of unsuccessful repair attempts, I had to be moved again to a different room. Additionally, I was not allowed to check in until incidentals were paid. Due to issues with my Visa card, I was forced to use the hotel’s guest internet to complete the payment, putting my account at risk while still being denied access to my room. This is not the first time I have faced such issues when booking through Booking.com. The experience was far below the standard expected for a hotel at this price level. I request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate compensation be considered. I was dissatisfied with the way I was treated during check-in, simply because my reservation was made through Booking.com.
- 4.5/5
The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The pool and beach were easily accessible and clean Online it says renovation was only starting next month but it had already started so it was a little bit of bummer to hear it and to see a huge crane right next to the beautiful view
- 4/5
The gentleman at the reception desk was very polite and helpful.
- 5/5
Everything. Especially the staff and how welcoming they are.
- 5/5
The food in the buffet was not that great.
- 3/5
tried charging me extra for my stay
- 4/5
Lovely staff, great location
- 4/5
The location is excellent, and the pool with direct access to the beach and available chairs is fantastic. The staff at the beach and pool were friendly and very nice. It's an "old" hotel, so expect to hear some noise from other rooms and the corridor. That was the only part of our stay that wasn't great because we wanted to rest at night, but we were slightly disturbed by noise from other rooms. Also, the bathroom in the two-queen-bed room is really tiny.
- 0.5/5
Nothing… all my birthday stuff was sent to the wrong room… flowers, cake, rose, balloons, cards.. room was at least 80 degrees!!! I was VERY uncomfortable and finally they changed rooms the last night I was there. Honestly I should be getting at least a refund and nothing. Only thing I liked was location
- 5/5
The best staff, perfect service, I wouldn't even consider another hotel, I will definitely be back soon.
- 3/5
However, we enjoyed the free breakfast we got and the use of bicycles. They went fast in the morning. Nice to have them available.
- 5/5

Beware, The hotel is under construction. The hotel is shabby at best.
- 5/5
Amenities are great Staff excellent and CONVENIENT to all
- 5/5
The hotel was really nice. The location is great. But most off all the staff was super nice and helpful. The team at the beach were super attentive and the manager, Jeremy - super helpful. Thank you!
- 5/5
Overall a nice stay
- 1/5
I really did not want to leave a bad review because staff was amazing. HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY - Bathroom- had a see through door. Frosted tint door. Terrible idea no privacy and NO LOCK ON DOOR No room. Shower half wall - water got everywhere and I was constantly cleaning. water took a very long time to get hot- smal smal small. No air conditioning for the entire 5th floor day 1 - pool shut down by 5pm - teenagers and young adults kicked out of just sitting by pool. $300 security deposit per room - we had 3 rooms $49 resort fee for half day pool and you have to rent umbrella by the ocean. Would not recommend - staff was amazing though - very kind - no breakfast on last day bc kitchen was closed only purchase of buffet - would never come back
- 3/5
Location is pretty good. Rooms need some upgrading. Shower needed 10-15 to be running in order to get hot water. Staff was really nice and welcoming
- 3/5
We have stayed many times at the Nautilus and the staff is always friendly and helpful at the Hotel but the hotel and the hotel next store are both under construction and the pool area noise was so loud it made it impossible to relax. We also needed to switch our room due to the noise. It should have been disclosed that they were under construction at the time we booked the stay so they did give me a credit on our last night as we checked out early. If you are looking for quiet this is not the time to book here.
- 5/5
Great room and breakfast service
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean, the beds very comfortable, staff was professional and very helpful.
- 3/5
During our stay, Dec25, there was major construction at the hotel next to it, as well as at the entire back side of this hotel. At around 8am, expect extreme noise all around, like sleeping at a construction site. The hotel itself was okay, old but smells good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I think there should definitely have been some fair warning of the construction though. Would not recommend for this reason.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 4/5
Room and hallways can be better (smell, cleaniness)
- 2/5
Rooms small. Bathroom very small. Beds say queen but smaller it seems
- 1/5
A few weeks before arrival, the hotel suddenly informed us our reserved room was under construction and downgraded us to a room without a balcony. They initially offered an extremely small discount, and only after multiple back-and-forth emails did they increase it slightly, but still nowhere near acceptable. Once we finally got into the room, all we could hear was blaring reggaeton and constant construction banging from morning through the day. The shower wouldn’t get warm; we had to run it for over an hour. Then the sink clogged and backed up, and the toilet began overflowing. When we called reception, they told us to “run both at the same time,” which made things worse. They switched our room, but the new one had the same issues: 45 minutes to an hour for warm water, barely any water pressure—my girlfriend could hardly wash her hair. And to make things even worse, as she was getting out of the shower, window washers were staring into the room, pointing and laughing at her in her towel. Completely unacceptable. The hotel’s idea of compensation a few drink vouchers. For a property that markets itself as a high-end, historic Miami Beach hotel, customer service, and maintenance are nowhere near the standard they pretend to be. Our stay should have been fully comped.TERRIBLE
- 2/5
Pool wasn’t available room was so small and ugly
- 4/5
Nice hotel and clean but the pool was under construction and the rooms are super outdated
- 3/5
If everything was working as it should it’d be a great hotel to recommend. However, the pool area was completely shut, something that was never communicated when booking. Also the building site next door was extremely loud, you couldn’t sit outside for breakfast due to the extreme construction noise. Until all of this is complete I wouldn’t recommend this hotel
- 5/5
Friendly people and good hotel.
- 1/5
The pool and outside area was closed for construction. And on my second day the hotel was out of power for over 12 hours. No hot water, no lights, etc…
- 1/5
Room was dirty, tiny. We lost power for several hours. Had to get ready in the dark with no AC. Had to get switched to a different hotel at 1am which ended up being even worse and even smaller. Construction and jack hammer noise at both places. The second one we had to move to was basically a motel quality. We didn’t even stay the remainder of our stay and got a totally new hotel. Horrible.
- 5/5
Clean room, great beach access, pool was under renovation however we were accommodated next door.
- 5/5
No Balcony or pool however we were comped for our breakfast each day. We were fine.
- 1/5
They charged us upon arrival for our room on our credit card but we already prepaid it then told us they needed to keep it ok hold on our car u til we left…never mentioned the pool had no water in it and that it was under construction. We to relax poolside and it was empty. Not that impressed I would not come back.
- 5/5
Super clean and staff has rooms super spotless and clean. Lobby was a very comfortable with a very laid back and good vibe atmosphere!! Only down fall was the pool area behind closed due to renovations. Totally understandable Better things take down fall. Would deff come back to check out the new and improved hotel! Thanks Again
- 1/5
its in remodelatinon, not pool and very expansive cost of beach services in winter, incredible
- 5/5
All the staff is very courteous, nice to chat with, and very helpful.
- 4/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Great family vacation!
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Clean room, great customer service, and friendly staff.
- 5/5
All good but the bathroom in my room, water everywhere from the shower
- 5/5
Well, this is a little bit of an older Hotel. It was absolutely stunning inside and they are making every effort to update and fortify the exterior. The proximity to the beach can’t be beat, and the customer service was outstanding.
- 3/5
Easy beach front access, hotel was under construction so noisy, one of the beds was broken in my room and was very noisy. Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Loved the beach access! Complimentary and although the rooms were decent, I was very happy with my stay! I would return. Used the valet parking on site and enjoyed the drinks by the pool! Walls are super thin.
- 2/5
Room size was small for the price. Not great value
- 1/5
We were not offered the beverages or free breakfast that was supposed to be part of my package. I saw this in my receipt after the fact.Communication was terrible at front desk. We arrived early and our room was not ready which was understandable. The lady at front desk said she would call housekeeping and get the room made up. Led us to believe this would be short turn around. We went for lunch and checked back…nothing…we waited for 5 hours. Check in was 4pm and we waited until 4:30p having arrived at hotel at 11:30am. Absolutely terrible customer service. Hotel was beautiful and grounds exceptional. Pool and restaurant staff awesome. After waiting for 5 hours, received a room that da ex a concrete building on all 3 sides. Had to look up to see the sky. Brutal having paid $500 USD for this. Will not stay again!!
- 3/5
The staff was very rude to us. They didn't change the sheets. They were crumb all over the bed. A glass Broke and they never sweep the floor. I step on the glass. I will NEVER STAY THERE again . And I will NEVER LET anyone of my friends stay there. Awful. The resort was under construction
- 5/5
Good services!
- 2/5
The hotel was under renovation, and we were never informed about it. There was noise in the rooms and workers in the pool area. It’s really a matter of expectation — if we had been told beforehand, it would have been fine, but since we weren’t, the surprise left a negative impression.
- 3/5
The property was nice, the Free Breakfast $ 28 service charge, was very poor, pancakes horrible waffles like a hockey puck, and the service not great, PS the hotel was very empty so no excuse for service issues. I am going to notify the Miami Beach Health Dept. about the bedbug problem, I know it’s not the hotels fault, but the could have tried to speak with me about it instead they just switched my room, no offer to launder my clothes or pay my urgent care deductible!
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast, clean room and friendly staff!
- 5/5
Poor and expensive Breakfast , few options
- 5/5
Construction was being done at the property
- 1/5
This hotel is under construction and renovation. The pool area is completely dirty with a ton of dust because there are cranes above the pool doing construction. It’s very noisy. The rooms are small and dreary. I regret staying in this hotel and would not recommend it to anybody.
- 1/5
The front desk supervisor a Caucasian lady with long blonde hair. She’s the worst person they could have at the front desk welcoming guest. Her demeanor is HORRIBLE. It’s because of her I will never come to that hotel again and I will spread the word to any of my friends and family as well.
- 3/5
Good stay but had multiple concerns like broken iron, non functional hair dryer, table lamp light was not replaced.
- 4/5
Hotel is okay. Humidity in the room was a problem for the first day but the AC took care of that after 8hr running. The pool area needs updating. Beach area service was great.
- 2/5
Very disappointed it was my fourth stayed and definitely last one
- 5/5
Other than on-going construction, a great time.
- 5/5
Great experience … The beach is right at your back door . Wonderful dining options and perfect location if want to tour the city .
- 5/5
Very clean property with helpful staff. Delicious fish tacos from their restaurant. Nice breakfast cafe in the lobby for quick and easy meal on-the-go. Very convenient walk to the convention center.
- 4/5
Staying here has taught me to always confirm if there is a mini fridge and microwave in the room!!! They do not!!!! Also I wasn’t pleased with the bed being in the middle of the room “literally “ nestled right below the A/C vent. We were either freezing cold or scorching hot. All in all staff very friendly though!!
- 3/5
Amazed that hotel did not mention construction work around the property. Makes a serious impact on the enjoyment of the property.
- 5/5
- 3/5
Good location, easy access to the beach.
- 5/5
Lo recomiendo 100%

The location is wonderful. Access to the beach is so convenient especially if you are traveling with kids. Solid food option at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch and great restaurants in walkable distance
- 5/5
Chill spot, felt safe at night, had a heck of a trip
- 5/5
Bathrooms need upgrades
- 4/5
…
- 4/5
Excellent breakfast, old rooms already the valet that takes 20 minutes to get the car
- 5/5
Everything has exceeded my expectations.
- 4/5
Very nice spot in south beach but not so nice pool very hot and everything except room price and tax too much expensive!! 55 dollars per day amenities meaning two towels for the beach or the pool??
- 4/5
Nice property, good service, nothing really to complain about other than the fact the rooftop was under construction.
- 5/5
Our stay here was wonderful. Their breakfast was not free but if you include it part of the booking, it will be free. Their breakfast was very good and had good options.
- 5/5
Great location and service.
- 4/5
It was nice. The first room we had was really dirty unfortunately. But a call down to the front and the manager quickly switched us. The second room was beautiful and clean. The pool was HOT. Like almost jacuzzi hot. Not relaxing in the Miami heat at all so we unfortunately avoided it. Service charges on everything so watch the prices. But overall great location, a beautiful beach and very helpful staff.
- 3/5
Il cibo è di scarsa qualità . Mi ricordavo questa struttura ben curata di qualità e pulita. Sono rimasta delusa.
- 4/5
The lobby and bar. C
- 3/5
However, the food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. and the bar area was nicely stocked. All staff members were friendly and professional. Also, as a side note the carpet in the hallway needs cleaning and deodorized. There were a slight smell and the coloring looked dirty.
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Stayed 2 nights and the room was spacious and clean. The only downside was the view, because we didn’t have one. The location was perfect We opted for the inclusive breakfast and it was so worth it. I would definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
The lobby, pool and beach entrance are very nice. The rooms, not so much. Pictures online are deceiving. Room is very tight. Bathrooms are tiny. Hallways smell like mildew. Only 2 tiny elevators. 1 wasn’t operating. Takes forever to get picked up. Pricey.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Price very reasonable. The staff is helpful and friendly and always smiling. I have been to many hotels in south beach, this is my best experience. Thanks to all the staff members.
- 5/5
It was great
- 3/5
The lobby is beautiful but the rooms, hallway and floors are dark and gloomy. Horrible lighting in the rooms and bathrooms. Rooms are small and the bathrooms are very tiny. Fix the lighting and make it bright and beautiful like the lobby. Pool is nice and clean. Kids friendly and safe. A little remodeling will do. I give it a 2-3 out of 5.
- 2/5
Was told i would receive a discounted bill, I did not receive any type of discount, housekeeping was awful, had to request for everything, towels, toiletries and bedding. Pullout mattress was lumpy, curtains were dirty, water pressure very low, rust in the bathroom. Check out was rushed at 8am
- 3/5
Staff excellent, food from breakfast to dinner was excellent. Had some issues with the room setting for air con, but it got sized same day. Sadly the rooms walls were incredibly thin, felt like other families were in our room. Without exaggeration, it was paper thin. Family rooms have no view which was also disappointing as well as the construction site next door which meant the pool wasn’t pleasant to use with the background noise. Just my honest review. Happy to circle back on front desk through to restaurant and bar staff 5star.
- 4/5
Alexis made staying here so much better anything I needed she was a phone call away definitely will be back
- 5/5
Amazing staff!
- 4/5
Very nice I would stay again!
- 5/5
Staff were wonderful. Clean, safe & family friendly. Pool was very nice and easy access to the beach. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Overall wonderful experience.
- 5/5
This hotel was amazing and gate access to the beach! Room was spacious and very clean! Their restaurant was very pricey with automatic 20% tip! Overall hotel was great and location was excellent!
- 4/5
Temiz, güzel bir otel. Personeli son derece saygılı.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely nice and attentive.
- 5/5
The food was great. The beach area was amazing.
- 2/5
To start, during the summer—when sunset is around 8pm—it felt unreasonable that the pool and amenities closed as early as 7pm. Most nearby hotels keep their outdoor areas open later, which makes this restriction feel unnecessarily limiting. Additionally, the pool was uncomfortably hot—more like a jacuzzi than a refreshing swim—which made it unusable. The atmosphere also lacked energy, with the DJ playing music at an extremely low volume, making it hard to enjoy the environment.
- 4/5
Close to Lincoln Rd Mall and Ocean Dr; neach access was perfect and breakfast was good!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 5/5
It is very nice and clean and close to most restaurants and shops
- 3/5
The room was extremely small. Also, there was construction workers outside our window at 7:00 AM. It's not the way to be woke up on vacation.
- 3/5
Food options were expensive and really cheaply provided. The options afforded the customer to explore other options.
- 3/5
Not what expected for the rate paid
- 3/5
Good location, nice staff, beautiful beach, small outdated pool, small washrooms and narrow washroom door.
- 5/5
The beach and pool access were immaculate as they were both right next to each other. The rooms could be a tad bit bigger but the balcony was beautiful and grand.
- 5/5
Loved the location!
- 5/5
Great stay ,
- 4/5
The room was not really cleaned daily. That was a big turn off. The staff at the beach, front office and coffee shop were great.
- 5/5
nice
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay. Very clean, easy access to the beach and restaurants. Staff were super nice and helpful. Overall a great experience.
- 5/5
We absolutely loved it the staff were awesome, beach access was so convenient, food was great. Will be back
- 5/5
Everything was
- 2/5
It was frustrating every night we couldn't get to sleep until around 2 or 3 in the morning. We spoke with management. Nothing was done. It sounded like a herd of elephants running around. If you would like to sleep at night then I would highly suggest you stay somewhere else.
- 2/5
There are hidden fees at the resort. What you see is not what you pay.
- 5/5
The room was a little hard to keep cool, especially if the lights were on, but other than that it was a very smooth stay!
- 5/5
Staff was great, folks attending the beach area were super friendly. Would stay again.
- 1/5
The property next to us was under construction and we’re jack hammering walls at 6:00am when we are asleep. Horrible!!!
- 5/5
The hotel was lovely, with friendly and attentive staff. I truly enjoyed my stay. However, the pool was a letdown—too small to accommodate the number of guests. Despite that, everything else made the experience well worth it
- 5/5
Hotel was nice and well located. A couple of teething issues but nothing major. Special shout out to the pool area staff, thanks to Sam and others
- 4/5
Great proximity to beach with food and beverage service at beach and pool. Nice grab and go in lobby and full-service restaurant. Air conditioning in room wasn’t working and it took three tries to fix it at 9:30pm; not for lack of effort by the technician. Rooms were a nice size. We had a bad view of a rooftop and construction, which was loud during day (could hear at pool too). Really great staff and easy check in. Beware of valet only parking which is $60 or so a day. Would stay again and request a different room view.
- 5/5
I loved it here!
- 4/5
it was a good experienced staying here
- 5/5
Very clean the beach
- 3/5
The bed was horrible and made a metal popping sound anytime you moved.
- 2/5
Poop on wall by toilet. View didn’t match the Expedia picture.
- 4/5
Valets were super friendly and checkin was extremely helpful
- 5/5
Everything about this resort has been ok accept umbrella charges
- 3/5
The property is in a nice location. The beach is nice although its public beach, only difference is the booth from the hotel there that has the towels, but it really does not matter because they close early at 6 pm and then the pool closes at 7 pm, so no fun there. Now the room is nice, rather small and no carpet, so floor is cold and slippery. The bathroom is also small and no curtain or closing door in the bathroom, no privacy is not aviable here. The elevator is slow to come up and down plus always a line to get on. The hotel staff was very nice, checking in and checking out. The bartender mike was very nice and drinks were excellent, although a little pricey. I think that the pool should be opened later to at least enjoy the time there.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay, amazing service. Everyone was very friendly. Housekeeping was fast to come if needed, and also very friendly. I loved the ice machine and water bottle refills available.
- 5/5
Room. Pool area . Front desk. Courteous And clean helpfull Felt safe thank you for making our stay Welcoming
- 5/5
Roof top patio access. Friendly valet, housekeeping and restaurant staff.
- 4/5
Beautiful design and great hotel staff. The rooms smell a little funny and it could use a refresh but good overall.
- 3/5
Dislikes; small bathroom, like cruise ship size, slippery shower, faucet needed repair, couch looked like a murder might have occurred on it. The room was clean but needs an update for sure. Our view looked like we were overlooking a war zone Went down to the pool, they told us we could only get one pool chair per room. Huh? That’s not a reasonable policy. They wound up giving us another one but they said because it’s low season. Beware if it’s high season as you and your travel companions will have to take turns sitting I guess. Hardly any accessible outlets. Booked on Expedia because when I called the hotel directly they gave me such a hard sell that I eventually had to hang up on them. Normally I would have found another hotel based on that initial experience but a family member traveling with us said it was a good place. Charged us a hefty fee per night called it a “Destination Fee” Likes: the bed was comfortable. We had a good amount of towels.
- 5/5
Accomodating
- 4/5
I liked the ambiance of this hotel. The entire staff, from the valet/front desk/restaurant/beach, were kind and helpful. Food options were available inside the hotel and close by. The only thing I did not like was that I was told my room was ready. When I arrived to the room, the floor was not properly cleaned. I could easily tell by first glance (loose hairs, light trash/plastic clothing tag). Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.
- 4/5
I really liked the excellent facilities, the very friendly service staff, the very good food, but they don't explain very well on their website the additional expenses, like the deposit shows only 150 dollars but in reality it is 150 per day, the deposit and resort fee that they charge for a chair and a towel on the beach and the umbrella should be included for that price that they charge don't pay that again, the rest is good
- 5/5
I highly recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
I like that it was close to nice restaurants and shopping!
- 2/5
To expensive.
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice and quiet and very safe
- 3/5
Overall good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
Property is old. Bathroom is very small. Hit leg on door if going to bathroom. Shower not powerful not even sure I got soap out of hair. No towels by pool. Asked worker and was told they would be down. An hour later still not there. Air conditioner was very loud !
- 5/5
Close to Collin ave
- 4/5
I wanted to use the power bank machine due to an emergency and no one from staff was able to let me know how to do it, and the link using the QE code was not working, everything else was great!
- 3/5
A lot of hidden fees after paying for the room
- 1/5
Beach front area is nice
- 5/5
A chic, well located beach retreat that excels where it counts: atmosphere, service, and style - perfect for travelers wanting South Beach energy without sacrificing refined flair. The only thing to note is there is construction going on at the hotel next to them so at times it’s gets pretty noisy.
- 3/5
Room was ok. Pool and beach hours end way too early. Even Disney World doesn’t shut their pools down until 10 or after. 7pm is just silly.
- 1/5
The property is very tired and in MAJOR need of an update. We shared a lift with two armed police officers on one occasion due to a domestic argument on our floor of the hotel. My daughter’s room had chocolate wrappers and hair in the shower from the previous guest so I question the standard of cleanliness. The lifts broke down during our stay so we had to walk down to the lobby using the fire escape. Finally they put a notice under our door late at night while we were asleep that the air conditioning would be off for whole day and we woke up sweating to this news. It’s hot in Miami. I feel the promo photos online do not reflect the true standard of the hotel which is definitely not 4 star in my opinion. I would never recommend this hotel or stay in any of the Sonesta properties again after this experience. I would have moved hotels but I had prepaid for my booking.
- 4/5
Nice quite and friendly
- 5/5
Very nice place staff was amazing and location was great!!
- 3/5
Na
- 4/5
Overall, we had a nice time.
- 3/5
that view does not exist from the hotel. Very misleading. The rooms were TINY and the bathroom rusty and TINY TINY TINY. Customer service was good though. Beach access was wonderful and proximity to town was great
- 3/5
Great location with a pool and beach access. Decent sized rooms allowed our girls group of 4 to coexist peacefully. Pretty lobby and pool area with a small to-go "cafe" for coffee and some breakfast options - but not anywhere much to sit with them. Cons: Pool closed on the early side (6pm) leaving no free outside area for lounging or relaxing aside from a dark clubby bar or restaurant patio which few people were using. Pool was very hot. Drinks are very expensive, only two pool chairs are allotted per room. Our air conditioner kept giving out, getting fixed and giving out again. Wasn't as much of a destination in and of itself but pretty decent for the area.
- 4/5
This property is beautiful. The staff is amazing especially the young ppl who manage the beach area. Very personable, polite and professional. I witnessed a guest have a snotty attitude when the staff member request him room number. He handled it WAY better than I would have at that age, simply stating the policy and was even apologetic. Someone from managmenr should recognize this staff. They made our stay amazing. I reserved a cabana and there were ants and the TV didnt work, but that was the only hang up for our entire stay. Room is beautiful, great water pressure, excellent housekeeping. Book here..its so nice!!
- 3/5
needs remedeling.
- 5/5
I appreciated every aspect of the service, from the front desk to room service. The overall experience was wonderful for the whole family. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
This hotel had the perfect location, it was much more quiet than surrounding hotels (which I loved), had great service, great ambiance & beautiful views. The rooms are a bit compact though (I had a king oceanview with balcony) and even that was tiny. So just be prepared to have smaller space but overall I adjusted as the days went on. I loved my stay, I really appreciated the peace and how quick valet was too!
- 4/5
- 4/5
Overall, a nice hotel, but we had a few issues. We booked two rooms and both of the rooms had lighting issues and other problems. The restaurant was not good and was expensive. I could accept expensive if the food was excellent.
- 5/5
I love lush greenery, tropical trees and this hotel has it all.
- 5/5
Super accommodating and luxurious.
- 5/5
Excellent resort
- 5/5
Amazing time at the pool and having the beach access was a huge bonus. Kids had a lot of fun. Very close to a lot of restaurants too. Only negative was the pricing in Miami is outrageous. (2) solo cup size margaritas for $50…
- 3/5
Room is really small and out dated
- 3/5
It was nice but could’ve been better for the price. The prices are insane once you get there. A can of pepsi $8.00.
- 5/5
It was a great experience staying here overnight.
- 5/5
Hotel is in a great location. Staff is always great when we visit. Its our go to place in miami
- 4/5
Great location, good bar.
- 4/5
Loved the bikes Did not appreciate having to pay for an umbrella every day on the beach when it should be included with the chairs and advertised prior.

- 4/5
Overall, the hotel is good. The room was clean and the service was great. However, the soundproofing needs improvement — you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms and from the street. I also didn’t like how the AC worked. It blows air directly onto the bed, which made it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
The property itself was great. The staff is above excellent. They really are amazing. I had an issue with my reservation on the first night and the staff not only went out of their way to accommodate me but were extremely gracious and well spoken; I was so happy with the experience. The amenities are really good from the well-kept pool and the beach is very convenient. The only minor complaint I would have is that the room could've been more thoroughly cleaned (dust). Overall, I would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was decent size, a/c worked well but extremely noisy when turning on repeatedly during the night. Complimentary water in room and coffee machine were appreciated. Bathroom shower comfortable but removable handheld was greatly missed as well as magnifying mirror. Hallway lighting too dark. Beach chairs were nice to have but for price paid umbrella should be included. Value for money was not great.
- 3/5
The desk clerk Sofia had an attitude when i informed her about the room. She said that i could stay friday night so i dont get charged for the room and i can check out saturday morning to find something else. I have seen and heard a lot of things, but that one just blew my mind.
- 4/5
Nice hotel on the beach
- 4/5
The staff was great as well as the attention to detail.
- 5/5
Property was beautiful! Right on the beach. Drinks are amazing - get the Paloma!
- 4/5
This is a good hotel for couples or friends on south beach. I would not recommend for families with young children or as a self care trip. The pool was packed with a party everyday, we did not use it because it was overcrowded
- 5/5
Nice property
- 4/5
Our room was not ready when we arrived and we were given a room without the view we paid for. It was so late that we had to take it. When we got to the room the AC was broken and they didn’t have anyone to fix it until the next day. It was too hot so they found another room for us after midnight. It was a terrible start. Luckily the next room was better and the hotel stay was great after that. Only other negatives were the tiny bathroom and the way overpriced drinks that we were charged above the price on menu at the pool bar. Pretty boutique hotel and comfortable beds. Easy access to the beach.
- 5/5
Great place, we stay here every time we come to Miami. We’ve tried other hotels, this is always the best.
- 4/5
Everything OK
- 5/5
Great customer service.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
Service and good were great. Room was just ok. Bathroom small sink tiny. No room for toiletries for 4 people
- 3/5
Rooms are small! No balcony! You have to pay for valet parking 49$ per night which they do not tell you! Pay $400 room fee extra that’s wasn’t included when booking online.
- 1/5
Rooms are not comfortable
- 4/5
Very comfortable, easy access to the beach, the guys taking care of the chairs and umbrellas were excellent.coffee shop very nice. Check in staff very efficient.
- 5/5
Thank you to Mr. Jeremy Miller Assistant manager , Xavier , front desk staff , Michael and Isaac at the beach front amenity services , and the beach bar hosts Amare and Sheryl for their exceptional premium quality services !
- 4/5
Had a great and relaxing stay. Would definitely return.
- 5/5
Highly recommend
- 3/5
I have been staying at the Nautilus for the past couple years and have always really enjoyed it. The staff are incredible helpful and kind. The rooms are comfortable. This year it was evident that the outside of the property needs some TLC. Around the pool, the decking is coming up, which I injured myself on. Likewise, the cabanas were not as well kept and maintained as usual. The decking and cabanas could use an overhaul. Otherwise, everything was great.
- 5/5
Beach access
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. We had some minor room issues which were fixed right away. The main areas are nicely decorated. The rooms could use some updating and bleach in the shower. The paint was bubbling up on the only small table in the room.
- 4/5
great stay
- 5/5
Loved the location and the pool staff were amazing.
- 5/5
Great location. Grounds are in nice shape and staff is very attentive.
- 2/5
The gym was dirty (does not appear that it, nor the equipment is cleaned too often), had no towels available until late in the morning, and the sanitation wipes were stuck in the dispenser and usable. Also, the hallway to our room was very dark, painted very dark, and extremely poorly lit. All in all, the staff was great, the lobby and grounds were really nice, the room we were in needs to be redesigned, sanded, painted, and the furniture replaced. The gym needs a deep cleaning, the hallways need lighter paint and better lighting. This was not what I expected for a AAA 4 diamond Sonesta ocean front room, so much so that we cut our stay short. I won't stay at a Sonesta again, unless I stayed before and know it's a good property.
- 5/5
Great stay at the Nautilus. Staff at the pool and beach were amazing. Food was great. My son wanted to eat dinner at their restaurant every night. We will definitely be back
- 2/5
The bathroom was too small and front desk was not friendly. Hotel was overcrowded and overpriced.
- 5/5

- 2/5
La gente que trabaja es muy educada y servicial, desde la persona que nos hizo el check in hasta las mozas del restaurant. Pero el hotel deja mucho que desear, esta muy descuidado. No lo recomiendo para parejas, si para familias ya que esta lleno de niños.
- 5/5
Hotel staff was very attentive and the room was clean! The pool and beach were easily accessible!! Food was very good!! I highly recommend staying at this hotel. All the restaurants were nearby and food was delicious.
- 5/5
Loved it! We had a wonderful relaxing experience here, Beach, pool, 2 bars, rooftop yoga classes, coffee shop in the lobby, and really good coffee machine in the room. Can't wait to come back!!
- 5/5
The chef was amazing, and the food and service were exceptional. The bartender, Mike, will have me refer clients to this hotel. He made sure that we had whatever we needed and took care of all of our after-dinner experiences, from drinks to personal touches with the music to personality! He is a keeper! Tell him Joi said to keep bringing joy into the guest's lives.
- 3/5
Room was nice. Hotel is extremely loud. If you don’t mind hearing everyone around you talking. It’s perfect. All hours of the night you hear people running up and down the halls yelling. This is a hotel for 21-30 year old people looking to party
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Awesome
- 3/5
Zero help at check in, wasn’t instructed on parking, and everything so overpriced. Poor condition of bathrooms as well
- 4/5
Excellent location and central to everything. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. I’d highly recommend this hotel for families with kids looking for a great walkable location on the beach. The pool was great for families. It has a large shallow section which was ideal for kids. We traveled in December and the pool was shaded, which may not be for everyone but was perfect for parents trying to keep SPF on the little ones! The poolside dining options were also a big hit. We went in December and had a wonderful time!
- 5/5
Nice hotel.
- 5/5
Lovely stay , very friendly staff. Child friendly and great location
- 4/5
One of the 2 lifts was not working for our entire stay meaning long wait for lift to arrive. Faster to use the stairs from our 3rd floor room. Pool was out of a Croon due to being used as music event. We’re not notified when booking but we’re emailed about 3 weeks before travel. This was too late to change our plans. No reduction given for lack of facility.
- 3/5
The staff is the main reason i found some type of happiness here. I didn’t know the pool would be closed for music week, until after we already booked. For the price, the room was really small. It’s not a good place to stay, if you are staying more than a day or two. They have room service and restaurants available, but no microwave, or refrigerator to store your food. It was only my husband, and myself, but the room felt really crowded, because it’s so small. The room was okay, but we go to Miami every year, and we always stay on Ocean Drive or Collins. We normally have a livingroom and kitchen space for less than what we paid for this place. I was just expecting a lot more for the amount of money we spent. We stayed from monday and checked out on thursday and it was $1100, not including a $450 dollar deposit. You can find better rooms, with more amenities for this place. Over all i was just disappointed in the size of the room, the lack of availability of the pool, the only one working elevator, and nowhere to heat up or store the food. The staff is the main thing that stands out. Each and every last staff member i encounter was amazing. But this is an average hotel, charging above average prices. The outside decor, and the lobby, makes the hotel appear to be 5 star. But the actual rooms itself was very disappointing.
- 1/5
One elevator working for the entire stay. Pool was rented to a party and didnt let the guest use them. Rented a movie that didnt even got to watch and didnt even give me the opportubity to to watch it without pay. I paid 1400$ for 2 nights in ine of the smallest rooms ive ever stayed. Definitely not worth the money i paid, a lot of nice places around that area.
- 5/5
My family and I spent 4 days at this resort. Excellent staff, service, location, etc. Specifically, Jeremy (the manager) really made us feel at home. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this stay. Thank you and we will be back soon!
- 3/5
The property was lovely. Beautiful bamboo arch leading to the beach and nice pool area. The art display in the foyer was very unique. Front desk staff was lovely. The 2 double bed room was extremely small and without appropriate storage for 2 people let alone 3. Some additional shelves or a dresser with drawers would be super helpful as well as more hooks for towels. Sink was not working upon check in but fixed timely. The over sized minibar was cool but way too big for the space considering the lack of the other useful things mention above. One of the main elevators was out of service for our entire stay. Made for some lengthy wait times. If I had been on floor 2 or 3 I would have walked but being on 5 that was a lot to do multiple times a day. Was disappointed that all registered guests did not get a beach towel and at least 1 umbrella to use. That felt like the property was nickel and diming customers. Access to food and shopping was excellent. Overall enjoyed our stay. 3.5/5
- 5/5
Good location in south beach. Good value for what you pay.
- 5/5
Excellent location for any dining, shopping or social activities.
- 2/5
Nope. Good thing we were on the 4th. Got our steps in. Here’s the thing, the hotel is surrounded by mega properties. It seems like the nautilus is trying to show potential buyouts that they have the foot traffic for a knock down and rebuild. Meanwhile, the clients and staff deal with the fallout. Staff did their very best but they know there’s no management nor leadership. Which is making the staff terse with the clientele because the clientele don’t understand the situation, they just want to be serviced on their trips. The building is very old. They remodeled it best they could. I’d say, very European. You really have to leave the bathroom to change your mind. There is in room dining. Big plus. Obviously, short menu and only during the day. There are 2 bars. You’ll need them. Also, a coffee kiosk. A gym and a pool with cabanas. The best part. Great access to the beach and all that is, Miami Beach.
- 4/5
The black hallways are a terrible decor…. Dark, scary and not a happy or hip vibe.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Amazing, courteous service. Great restaurant, great location, close to Lincoln Rd shopping mall and Ocean Drive.
- 5/5
I was upgraded free of charge to the penthouse. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable.
- 3/5
Average service. Not welcoming
- 3/5
Hotel was super convenient in terms of location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately only 1 elevator was working our entire 5 day trip which lead to long waits and the use of stairs. Room beds were comfortable, housekeeping while very pleasant forgot to refill toilet paper, tissues and conditioner. Pool staff and beach staff were super friendly and eager to assist. Pool furniture could use a refresh. Area with ping pong and corn hole fun and accessible. Beach access was great! Also be aware…. construction ongoing on both sides of hotel!
- 3/5
Only 1 elevator small not working hald the time only 6 at a time Spring Break to many rude 20 year olds being served outside had to call 2x for room service
- 3/5
Construction on both sides of hotel. Very noisy on the balcony. Pool music loud to cover up construction noise. Only one elevator working. Extremely high prices for a mediocre hotel.
- 5/5
Nice boutique hotel away from the craziness of ocean drive!
- 3/5
The bed was horribly uncomfortable. There was basically just a sheet on it no blanket. There was no blanket in the closet no robe. The only thing I offered was a towel and there are some mini coffee bar. I could hear the person above me all night you could hear if they moved a chair you can hear if They got out of bed very noisy very cold and the air conditioning wouldn’t let me make it past a certain temperature to make it warmer in there.
- 2/5
No good fake marketing
- 2/5
Hotel was incredibly outdated. Hallways were dark and smelled moldy, room was not very clean, toilet ran the whole time.
- 5/5
Great location and service.
- 4/5
Our stay at the Nautilus Sonesta was fantastic. Our room had a terrific balcony with a full ocean view and also overlooked the pool. Staff were friendly (shout out to Mae at the pool for her excellent service), the beach access was excellent, the property was clean and well-maintained, and the location was very convenient for short walks to great restaurants and shopping. Only negative during our stay was the construction at the adjacent properties, but the Nautilus Sonesta can’t control that. However we were pleasantly surprised that the sliding door to the balcony reduced the noise almost completely, so it was a bonus to not get woken up early. I’d stay here again for sure, construction or not!
- 5/5
Sophie in food & beverage is an all-star!
- 3/5
Would not stay there again
- 5/5
Beautiful property blocks from Ocean Drive!
- 5/5
The pool area was beautiful
- 5/5
Great service, awesome pool and vibe, great food
- 3/5
only one elevator worked during our stay. the rooms were stark and ugly and didn’t feel warm or inviting. bathroom walls and door jams were banged up. hotel felt old and not well maintained. however, the pool and beach area are really beautiful and enjoyed my time at those spots.
- 5/5
Nice place.
- 5/5
Very cool hotel with typical Miami Beach vibe. Pool area was nice and the attendants provided great service. The noise level in the room was very loud with neighbors who had kids. Hotel restaurant served good food. Loved the location and would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
The location is very nice, the hotel has seen better days though and the bathroom was the smallest I've seen since Japan. I'm 5'8" and a size 4 and the bathroom door could not have been wider that about 22 in so I have no idea how a larger person would even fit. I kept bumping into the doorjamb pretty much every time I went in. The tv is on the one wall on the left side of the bed so after a long business day when you want to unwind there is no comfortable way to watch the TV besides lying on your side or sitting in the only provided chair (a desk chair). The ceiling in the bathroom is only about 6"8" high so not sure what they were thinking as a tall man would have a difficult time showering.
- 4/5
CONS- Not as many amenities as I thought
- 3/5
Rooms are too dated. Very sterile and cold looking.
- 5/5
Pleasantly surprised! This place far exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to go back!
- 3/5
I had to wait too long to check out. There is only one at the desk talking to some one about 20mints.
- 2/5
Photos on website were a little deceiving. Hotel looks old and dated in IRL
- 4/5
The entire staff was exceptional. Very friendly, attentive and efficient. The hotel needs to be updated. But we still had an enjoyable stay.
- 5/5
The Nautilus is located in the heart of South Beach, ocean front, you can walk to all the great restaurants and shopping available near by. Spacious rooms and modern bathrooms.
- 5/5
Beautiful lobby bar and much better food than a hotel normally has to offer. Drinks are steep at the pool… but that’s to be expected right on the beach. Location is wonderful.
- 2/5
The room price is way too high for what you are getting
- 5/5
The location of the property was very central in South Beach and the hotel pricing was reasonable. The staff was very helpful and the pool and beach access was very convenient. I will consider staying here again next year when I attend the Citi and Barclays conferences.
- 1/5
The reservation was not what I expected, when I got to the room it had nothing in common with the ones I selected at Expidia. They deducted more than 100 dollars from the card they ask for for security, without having caused any damage, and the reservation was already paid for. I do not recommend this place, it was a total disappointment. The rooms are very small and expensive.
- 5/5
Access to beach. Walking distance from many restaurants and bar.
- 1/5
This is a terrible hotel. Do not stay here. I will provide lots of details on the stay. The first thing to know is that either side of this hotel is construction. So if in the morning you are looking forward to peaceful morning rise, forget it. Every type of construction from banging to hammering is going on around the hotel. The location is right near the most overpriced restaurants I have ever experienced and I live in NYC so I know what this means. The hotel is fine for 1 or 2 star hotel, but for a 4/5 star is a complete misrepresentation of the property. We stay in the week of the boat show prior to the wine and food festival so you would think that well in advance of this time the hotel internally would have had all its things together, Nope. The elevators did not work for the whole weekend so we were up and down stairs. They would during the day have issues in the hallways they were fixing and making noise. Lets talk about our room, the worst in the hotel, 311. Like most of the rooms on this side of the hotel the view is literally of a brick wall, not kidding. Why they have windows I am not sure. The AC unit leaked/ dripped, the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen, worse than cruise ship. The service in the hotel was terrible. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

I usually don’t like to write bad review, but with this hotel I have to let you know don’t hold your expectation up, first when we checked in we found out that even though we booked the hotel for 4 persons, we only have 2 loungers at the pool and beach and have to pay extra 35 for each extra chair, other thing was the bathroom wall all dented and broken that we were able to waive our resort fee for that, the room service was every day, again we only received 3 towel for 4 person, and we got new coffee pods daily but not clean cups. Why though? Also if you are thinking of booking this hotel just keep in mind there are constructions on both side with other hotels, its not their fault of course but you don’t get relaxed by the pool with all noises.

1. I received a message before my check in advising there was an issue with my credit card, I did try to call the hotel and after several calls they just said I was supposed to call Expedia 2. One of the two lifts did not work for 4 days 3. When I check out i found several mistakes. They did try to charge me for over 70 USD (pools consumptions and a ridiculous 10 usd charge for the cleaning of one shirt) 4. My room had a terrible view (inside) and there are works happening next to the hotel. During the day it can get noisy. 5. The room door was not closing properly and the housekeeper left it open On the positive side: 1. Staff very friendly 2. Not huge but nice breakfast 3. Nice pool area

Well…kind of over priced. When we arrived only one elevator was in service. At the pool, there was a DJ blaring Euro club electro music making it impossible to read or listen to one’s own music. Probably a little under staffed as our room was never made up by 4:30 pm in the afternoon when we returned from the beach. With a resort fee payable and $25 for a beach umbrella, we were still only allotted 1 small towel per guest. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant and accommodating and the beach manager Isaac was very good. Also, one of the bartenders mixed a very fine dry martini.

Check in was easy and lobby and pool area were great. The room was spacious with a great view but felt very outdated and sterile (all white, tile floors, no art of walls.) Biggest issue was that there was an additional $50 dollar fee added per day to use to pool, which is bonkers that that is not included in the price. Also the $25 rental fee to use an umbrella on the beach felt very cheap of the hotel. The music by the pool was very loud some of the days which felt unnecessary. There’s also construction going on at either side of the hotel which started around 7:30am, not 9am which is what I was told when I contacted the hotel. Staff was lovely and the hotel was clean.

Great property with AMAZING food and great beach area. Bathrooms in the standard room were insanely small and elevators were broken that weekend so that sucked but overall a great place.
