Reviews
The hotel has a great location, close to the beach and various amenities. However, communication with staff is often poor and the property itself is in need of maintenance and renovation.
- Great location
- Spacious rooms
- Poor communication with staff
- Property in need of maintenance and renovation

I just a few issues and I have stayed here before, the front desk isn't staffed and if you have concerns it's hard to get them addressed.
- 5/5
Central located and clean, typical 90s style hotel bu clean f the restaurant attached is nice staff.
- 1/5
Very disappointing stay. The room had severe humidity issues, and there was no hot water. I tried to change rooms the same day I arrived, but no staff was available to help. I went to the restaurant next door (they’re connected) and they called the manager, but the manager never showed up. Calls went unanswered, and customer service was nonexistent. The experience was so bad that I checked out the next morning and did not even finish my stay. Would not recommend staying here.

No vale la pena regresar a ese hotel , es un hotel barato y malo

It’s awesome and quite
- 5/5
Great location, drinks & food downstairs until 3am is super convenient!
- 4/5
The room was very quaint and quite remarkably very comfy. I used the chairs which was awesome for the beach. The restaurant downstairs was defenite a bonus. Thank you all.
- 5/5
Nice clean place very satisfying stay save convenient close to so many shops Publix has a Starbucks on the second level that was amazing walking distance
- 4/5
It's a great place to lay your head the furniture is out dated but quality. The food and drinks were awesome
- 5/5
The restaurant was great. The location was amazing and the service was excellent. Nas was truly helpful our entire stay. We will be coming back when in town again.
- 5/5
Ac was perfect I enjoyed my stay thanks
- 4/5
South beach is 20 mins away via uber/lyft. And about 27 mins from airport. Rides cost about $18-$26 They didn’t take a security deposit, Tv didn’t work, and room could use some work. My flight got canceled last minute, missed a whole day of my stay but they easily allowed me to adjust. I was traveling for work so this was a good spot
- 4/5
Was great !!!!
- 3/5
Rough and ready bolt hole. It’s such a great price for a reason. That said, the staff are great and the weekday happy hour out front is amazing.
- 3/5
No usé auto. La habitación tenía el piso sucio. El aire acondicionado está bien. El baño, la ducha no tiene casi agua y el lavamanos no drenaba correctamente.
- 3/5
I have mixed feelings about this. I really appreciate that they were flexible with the dates we requested, but I had a very difficult time contacting them during the entire stay.
- 2/5
Stayed 4 nights and they didnt ask or check once to clean or change bedding even after putting used bedding and towels outside of room
- 1/5
- 2/5
Great location! Staff was not available for help. I tried for 6 days to pay my bill and get reimbursed for the coffee I had to purchase elsewhere due to the coffee machine had not been cleaned in a very long time. The door code would not work for 6 out of 8 days. So we were stuck in the room. Could not get help with the issue. Talked to 5 servers no response.
- 4/5
Great food! Friendly staff
- 4/5
They said parking is $15 but when we arrive they say it’s $20 from 6:00 PM to 8 AM that mean need to leave the property early if not probably they tow your car
- 2/5
great location, good price, but you have to be willing to receive bad customer service, phone not being answered, bad process to check in. Even if its an old place, there is no need to have trash in the hallways, old tvs. The place has potential but the owner is not too worried. Plenty of restaurants nearby, grocery store, and of course the beach.
- 3/5
There were no staff to help bring towela
- 1/5
The rooms don’t look like the posted property pictures. Usually I take bad reviews with a grain of salt but these reviews are accurate. The toilet in the bathroom did NOT work. We had to use the restroom in the restaurant, which was also poorly kept. I really wouldn’t recommend not even as a last resort unless it’s for one night.
- 3/5
They offer a 10% discount at the restaurant, but we didn't get it when we ate there. The food was good. It's only about a block or so from the beach which is great. Lots of restaurants, walgreens, and grocery store in walking distance. Our tv didn't work the entire time we were there even though we called about it several times, however they did compensate us with a late check out, so we didn't have to sit at the airport a long time since our flight was a late evening departure. The staff was pleasant and did tey to help the best they could. If you're looking for a hotel that you can atay at and not be bothered this us it. If you want to be waited on hand and foot, find another hotel.
- 5/5
Such nice people
- 5/5
Nice price but they really need to update their rooms because many things were falling apart. I would stay here agaim though.
- 2/5
room wasn’t even swept. cleaned bathroom and floors ourselves. Says that house keeping comes everyday they didn’t come to our room once. toilet seat cracked when we got there tub didn’t drain had to plunge the drain b/w each person showering and even then water up to ur ankles/calves 2 minutes into your shower. ONE singular sheet on the bed no extra blankets. fridge didn’t work and none of our concerns were acknowledged by management until our last day when we had reached out day 1
- 1/5
No where to park so had to be out by 8am so they wouldn’t tow my car
- 4/5
Room was ok to few days.
- 5/5
The room was spotless. Super clean.
- 3/5
Room had no heat , we had no hot water for a whole 24 hours . No blankets we had to find someone to give us blankets
- 2/5
the staff was great and attentive. unfortunately, this place does not own more than 1 parking space whlch is usually used by the owner, but he gave it to me. It was 40 degrees out, and they have no heaters and their air conditioners do not have heat. other than that the rooms are clean, and they do provide internet. They do own a nice restaurant. If thisl meets your standards, enjoy
- 5/5
Food was amazing
- 1/5
Cleanliness was not a priority for the hotel at all. Jason was pretty nice but the rooms were moldy, mildewed and dusty. As someone who has a compromised respiratory system, this place wasn’t safe for me to stay. I ended up having up book another reservation at another hotel for the rest of the stay. Didn’t come with blankets and the headboard didn’t look sanitary. Didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower or using anything that came with the room. There were more issues but I’d rather say
- 1/5
The room was very dirty. I left early because of how gross it was. Refund request for one night was denied. Also, I am disabled and not able to carry luggage up steps. They had no elevators. I was told to wait and the manager was going to take my suitcase upstairs for me. When he was walking by he rudely told me that they do NOT have concierge service available. He then walked away. About 4-5 minutes later someone walked by and I asked them to help me. He was very kind and took it up the steps. A horrible experience!
- 1/5
Very dirty a hole in the wall found bugs cracks in floor and walls floor dirty in hallway stinky very bad odor if I can rate it a -0 I would this should not be on yall website at all I filed a dispute
- 2/5
Hotel staff was basically non existent. No 24/7 front desk staff as advertised. No check in for room cleaning for the entire week. Advertises to text with needs which I did several times and had no response. Guests are asked to take out their own trash but are not provided sufficient trash bags to do so. Loud music and screaming all hours of the night.
- 1/5
The staff had us wait outside with all our luggage rather than inside the lobby when we arrived- to look at all their dining guests awkwardly. The ac unit was caked in mold. The sheets looked like they werent changed from the prior person- had serious blood drops that 1 wash should take them out. There were no blankets on the bed whatsoever. The floorboards had gaps over a quarter inch thick. Had to wear shoes in the room the whole time, especially to shower. The bathroom had no ventilation- had to turn the moldy ac unit on full blast to reach the bathroom. The mold traveled in/on the fridge, bathroom ceiling, and mirror and more. They requested we throw away our own trash (in the back of the restaurant/hotel in an alley) to keep the hallways clean/clear, yet the hallway was lined with trashbags of their own housekeeping supplies/towels. There was no coffee machine in our room, yet they had coffee cups and sugar/creamer (confusing). The bookshelf still had a 'sold' sticker on it, and terribly ripped partially off and they nailed it to the wall anyways. The chairs they provided are stained and dirty. The side tables were broken. Tv remote was sticky and some channels wouldn't work. There was no communication from staff beyond giving the door codes upon arrival. The only redeeming qualities of the hotel are that their location is so great, ceilings are tall with big mirrors/photos, and shower pressure. If you're reading this, pay the extra $50-whatever for somewhere clean.
- 4/5
Room was very quiet, I little bit pricey, but ok after all
- 1/5
It was gross 😫 It was clogged and me and my daughter we have to shower with the bathtub full of water. I have to ask for new towels and when I asked to the janitor they were complaining that they don’t have enough towels. Zero 0️⃣👎
- 3/5
On the positive side, the bed linens were clean, which was appreciated. Another issue was the lack of staff. There was no front desk presence during most of the stay. It was impossible to reach anyone by phone, and messages were never answered. The only person we saw was someone from the restaurant who appeared briefly during check-in. It was unclear who to contact with questions or complaints. Additionally, parking is paid, which was not clearly communicated in advance. Overall, the stay was average, but better cleanliness, accurate photos, and proper guest support would significantly improve the experience.
- 1/5
Room? Was outdated dinky, no phone in the room, it did not give hotel status more like a hostel, water pressure was extremely poor, no hot water , no one at the check in had to go to the restaurant everytime for any request, ran out of tissue had to purchase my own,the description of the room and what it looks like online was nothing like it,walls peeling, windows filthy, framed of the windows looked chewed up and holes barely space to move around for one person, I cried for two days.
- 1/5
We entered. Ben the man anger was quite sterile and unhelpful as he was too busy hosting and serving at the Norman’s restaurant below. We got in the room, there were small stains on the bed and the air was also stained with cigarettes. My daughters immediately began seeking another place to stay. We left an hour after checking in even though we booked for three night. Now the owner won’t answer to provide a refund for a space we didn’t stay in.
- 4/5
I just wanted somewhere safe while I explored. That’s exactly what I got, nothing more nothing less. You get what you pay for. The tv didn’t have a remote, I had to download the app and connect from my phone to use it. Some outlets didn’t work. The coffee maker was disgusting and unusable. The AC worked. The bathroom was majorly outdated. Shower head needs a deep clean. Sheets had stains. Full size fridge and microwave were both clean. Front door had access code, making it feel safer. Staff in the restaurant were friendly.
- 5/5
The hot water didn't get hot and to here was a large roach in the bathroom, but it an tropical Florida. But he come to visit ever night. The beds are comfortable, the manager is brilliant, the area is busy and has places to eat
- 5/5
The hot water would never get hot not completely. The manager the hotel is brilliant and helpful. The last night someone tried entering my room with the code key. I recommend putting the lock on in the room. I stayed here before and it's near a lot and the bus line.
- 4/5
The manager was so kind and my complaint was the water doesn't really get hot I had problem with TV when I arrived but was fixed rapidly. It is near supermarket and fast food. Chabad isn't to far away.
- 2/5
The check-in instructions were very vague and not helpful. You have to go to the bar just to get someone to come give you the code to get in the hotel portion. The beds only had sheets, no actual blankets. We messaged the number they give you to text if you need anything and never got a response. Not necessarily the hotels fault, but it was super difficult to sleep because of the sound of traffic and the noise from the attached bar. The window was leaking water from the rain. Not a show stopper, but they had a weird picture on the wall with Mona Lisa holding a machine gun. The bar food on the other hand was really delicious.

Beach view
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
there is no front desk employee. If you need something, there is no one at the "hotel." I texted a number in the room for the "front desk" and am still waiting for a review. This is more like a boarding house than a hotel. There are no elevators, and there are stairs to get on the first floor and stairs for the second floor. the hallways really need to be redone. The interior of the rooms have been redone quite some time ago, and really need to be freshedned up. The chairs in our room looked like they should have been thrown out 30 years ago. There was a bathroom leak that was causing the bathroom to be wet, including the side of the vanity, and no one was interested in the problem. I actually left a note downstairs at the entry where no one works, and got no response. Someone must have seen it, because the note was gone when we got back.
- 1/5
Ninguna reposición de toallas ni articulos de baño durante toda la estadía (9 días) Aire acondicionado de ventana extremadamente ruidoso. Habitación y baño de los años 70.
- 1/5
No power in the bathroom, no outlets worked, no power in fridge or microwave. AC did not cool at all. Had to buy our own toilet paper. Door wouldn't close.
- 5/5
Everything was fine but the toilets did clog up, room was good and the bar down stairs can’t beat staying anywhere else. 20-25 minutes from south beach, really the perfect spot. There’s a beach right outside the hotel you could walk to. Literally is a nice hotel just need to do something about the toilets clogging.
- 2/5
When asking for a park pass ( since the site has no parking ) the hotel would let me know to go ask the restaurant. Then the restaurant would tell me to go ask the Hotel. This back and forth method was their version of customer service. I'm not sure if any future guest like this version of a continuous circle.
- 1/5
They did not return my deposit, and got rude and hung up when I called and inquired about it. The hotel was very dirty and old fashioned, with dead roaches everywhere in the room. The linens were dirty and the hotel was very unsafe, there is no place to park at all. The staff is very unprofessional and unhelpful, do not stay here
- 4/5
My wife and I did not stay long but it had nothing to do with the hotel itself...we had to catch a very early flight. Overall, we enjoyed our quick stay here. The young lady who checked us in was extremely helpful and very friendly. She went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. The room was nice, though well aged, which was not objectionable. The restaurant below was also excellent with a fantastic waitress and great food. Norman's is a perfect "out of the way" right in the middle of Miami Beach.
- 5/5
me encanto el lugar
- 1/5
Arrived at the hotel and gentleman who works in restaurant next door (very nice), apparently helps out after hours, gave me a room that wasn’t clean, beds were unmade, etc… ended changing my room to another one and the new room had a dead roach on bathroom floor, no toilet paper in the bathrooms, tub with full of some black thing in the drain holder. 2nd day of hotel I received hard knocking on my door advising me I had to get out, honestly I was scared thinking someone was trying to break in.
- 2/5
It was nasty. I had to clean the table that had a pile of dust. The chairs I wouldn’t even touch. No real cleaning is happening there at all.
- 1/5
This property was horrible is more like a hostel then a hotel they gave us the wrong room and when the room was corrected the rain was in our room like a pond the windows where leaking it was a horrible experience
- 1/5
Do not stay at this place at any cost! Horrible place, extremely dirty and there is 0 service provided. When we checked in, the room was already super dirty, all floors had dust, the bathroom was so disgusting that it was impossible to step into the shower barefoot. During three days of our stay here there was no cleaning of the room, no change of towels, no staff at the desk at any time. There is restaurant downstairs as part of this 'hotel' but no members to assist you even when you point out that there is no lobby. If you think of wifi or clean/functioning coffee machine as basics, forget about it all - nothing works. Avoid at all times!
- 3/5
My priorities were low pricing, cleanliness, & safety, which I felt pretty good with once I got there & inspected the place. Sonia was there & checked me in & was very nice - very little English, but thankfully I can speak basic Spanish & we were able to figure the basics out. Overall, an “average” stay, but that was good enough for me. I’d say know what you’re willing to tolerate & understand the risk. If you want cheaper & can tolerate a few nuisances (older space, no room service, noisy at night, etc), then this is a steal. If not, then this isn’t the space for you. Also, I liked the fact that there was a microwave & a fridge in the room. Good enough for my 3-night stay!
- 3/5
Hotel was outdated, but decent for the price. Location is great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
This place was good but there is a lot of music until 2 am at least. It’s good if you are not going to sleep early. In general, the room was clean. For the price, it’s good.
- 1/5
Ok where do i start. The air conditioner was broken told maintenance and front desk 30 minutes after checking in. No one came to fix. No hot water, no one came to fix. Window was broken and did not lock anyone could crawl in from the first floor. Found fake eyes in the tub. Room smelled like mold. I had to rent in another hotel simultaneously in order to feel safe and in be able to enjoy a room without so many issues.
- 2/5
Had to wait for someone to come to check in. For some reason he took a picture of my credit card and ID. Shower had very low pressure when hot water was on. Had to put coffe maker on the floor to operate it because no electric outlet was close enough.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Área was nice, quiet and a decent place for the price
- 5/5
Great shuttle close
- 5/5
Was a bit tricky checking in but manager was about to everything on cellphone
- 2/5
The room was nice and a great location. However the parking is a SCAM. This place had NO PARKING. They will sell you a “parking pass” to the lot next door for $20 a night. THEY DONT OWN THIS LOT AND YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED. It’s a complete SCAM! Street parking is free from 6pm-8am and in mid Oct was available every night.
- 2/5
It was very old and not aesthetic whatsoever. The beds were clean and comfortable. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The furniture was old and looked very worn. I was also a bit disappointed because they wouldn’t make an exception and refund two nights that we didn’t end up using. We had to book three because we evacuated and the hurricane was supposed to be bad on our coast. We did lose power so we had to get home to get the freezers on the generator. We had been off work unpaid and lost food and had home damage etc. while I understand that’s not the hotels fault it would have been so great to make an exception considering and refunded the nights we didn’t use. They used the excuse that they welcomed pets with no extra fees, but per law they had to because the mandatory evacuations.
- 5/5
The staff took great care of our stay
- 2/5
Property didn't look like the pictures, Property and rooms need to be upgraded.
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
Good place, but everything likes old
- 2/5
Bathroom and closet smell terrible, we requested to clean the room and never did it (we stayed 4 nights!). The windows leak with every rain and the air conditioning won't stop doing a beep (like if you were on a hospital) and auto changing temperature. The door code for the room didn't work, they gave us a key and tell us they will fix it next morning, it didn't happen.
- 5/5
Highly recommend
- 1/5
MY HOTEL STARTED FLOODING , THE MANAGER CARL WAS NICE BUT THE OWNER WAS BEING DISRESPECTFUL BECAUSE I TOLD HIM HE STARTED TELLING HE WOULD PUT ME OUT . Never again
- 1/5
Room is absolutely nothing like the photos!!!!!
- 5/5
The room was just what you needed after a day out in the Miami Heat. Check in was easy and communication was clear. Hotel had little coolers you could use and take with you to beach. Just be respectful and considerate enough to clean and return. The restaurant downstairs has great lunch deals and is a great spot to watch folks strolling on Collins. I am glad to say that Norman's is home to me.
- 4/5
It was a pretty good stay! Not bad! I would just recommend having someone at the front desk, fixing the doors (locks), and better beds. Overall, nice stay.
- 1/5
Horrible place
- 5/5
I absolutely loveddddd staying here ! It was super convenient. My friends and I didn't have a car when we went so we loved that there’s a supermarket, liquor store and plenty of food choices in the area. Not to mention that the beach is across the street. The only minor complaint I can say is that communication with the staff during the stay was a bit off. We were required to text staff if we needed something and I literally never got a response. But this didn’t bother us as much because we were pleased with absolutely everything else. The room was super cute and spacious, wifi and peaceful. We loved that there was a cute bar/ restaurant right downstairs and they closed pretty late. We will definitely be staying there again!
- 4/5
Although the property itself was good, communication was not. I wanted to pick up my keys 15 minutes early. I messaged Matteo multiple times about this, and got no response. This caused a lot of needless stress!
- 1/5
Pictures on Expedia are not what the place looks like in person. Theres bes bugs in room 6 and 8
- 2/5
My room had mold in it. The hotel seemed like it hadn’t been unkept in 25 years. The paint was stripping, the chairs were ripped and old, the shower head was dirty and had a lot of buildup, the toilet seat were old and chipped, the doors were old. The receptionist was never there in the evenings and when I called no one answered. The wifi kept cutting out. Honestly the only good thing was that it’s in a nice area where everything is accessible but the hotel itself needs a lot of work.
- 3/5
There was no front desk clerk. The codes to get into the room were incorrect.
- 3/5
Normally for the price
- 3/5
I had to keep asking for towels and the doors were not secure at all
- 5/5
Walking distance to the beach

Great place!

Great location, if you want to be on Miami Beach. Restaurant food was excellent. Room was not nice at all, but adequate. Noisy.
- 4/5
Good location to beach, dining and supermarket

THE NORMA HOTEL SAID,u have to paid $20daily and get the pass ticket ,from the bar, the ticket. I bought the pass at 4am and at 8am they town my car. The onwner wants me to paid $579. Cause the ticket siad from 6pm-6am. But at the bar told ypu you can park before 6pm. The hotel doesn't have any parking lot, you can park foe free until 6am. Cause after 6am all the rest. Open thier door. The hotel send me to a wrong location to 2 lpok for my card, and paid $56. Cab...went to another lpcation for $44.more..and the hotel didn't payment us anything. Is a trap for the tourist. Be carefull ans have fun...

Amazing time! Great rooms

Here is my complete and honest review whatever you do do not let yourself be fooled by this disgusting place. Our place looked nothing like the pictures for the first hour that we got there. We had zero running water the water the drains stink, so bad are the foam of the bed was falling apart. It had holes that were patched up Mold everywhere. And I am only leaving this review because we did try to resolve this issue. We were up late night trying to get a hold of someone to speak to the front desk has a phone number to text in case you need something we texted we called we even left a voicemail. I even messaged the Manager through the Expedia app and it seems like nothing got through. We had no other option to stay the night at this place. As soon as daylight came about we left it was probably like 5 AM that we got up got our stuff together and we left that place The night before we did attempt to call Expedia and let them know what our issues were. The girl only wanted to help us book another place and of course we would have to pay for this place. They did not care that we were not safe at that location. She also offered to contact the manager but because we were feeling so unsafe I didn’t go that route. We didn’t want them to call the manager while we were still at the hotel. We wanted to leave we do have pictures of this location and videos. Whatever you do, do not stay there.
- 1/5
This was by far the worst experience I ever had with a hotel. I booked a room in advance arrived in town at 11:00pm and was told the owner cancelled the stay with no reason. There’s no true hotel staff in the evening so the restaurant manager was trying to assist to no avail. I was in town for work during Art Basel. There were so few hotels left available. I was lucky to get a place to stay. I would not recommend wildly unprofessional and not a dependable accommodation at all.
- 3/5
It was convenient to be beach.
- 5/5
Marta and Cody were sooooo welcoming and reassuring about my room reservation. When arrived smooth checkin . Only thing i could say is when at restaurant told about our room stay and didn't get the 10% off meal. But will love to come back
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
El recepcionista estuvo exelente, el hotel bien, el personal con el que tuvimos contacto muy amables lo único malo es que no tienen estacionamiento propio y te tienes que estacionar en la calle y esperar a que no te pongan un ticket.
- 2/5
Good restaurant and bar, but as a hotel nope!! It’s hard for Ubers to find the spot. The actual room look nothing like the pictures online. Just overall low quality
- 3/5
Said here for a quick family night at the beach since the hotel is right across the street. There is no on-site parking however there is free residential parking a couple blocks down by the Publix. Staff was very nice and we were able to check in our room 30 minutes prior to check in time. You need a passcode to get into the hotel lobby and in to the room which is convenient so you don't have to carry a key. My complaints lie with the condition of the room the shower had barely any hot water nor any pressure. The toilet was very slow to flush and I was afraid of clogging it with just simple toilet paper since it would barely flush. The door to the room kept jamming and we were having a hard time keeping it locked and unlocked. The beds were very comfortable and clean sheets. The Wi-Fi kept kicking me off. Full size fridge with a microwave which was very convenient. The remote to the TV didn't work so you had to use the box. The view was exceptional overall the state was mediocre and did its job just for the placement of the hotel but the condition again was subpar.
- 4/5
I like that the property was keyless and had cable service.
- 4/5
The room was very clean. I was actually surprised. First site gives you an thought of an old hotel. Not a large room but it worked. Bathroom is very small. they have a large closet. Chairs have some wear and tare. The picture is not what you get, at least our room did not look like that. We had a King room. There are no elevators so taking a lot/heavy bags and luggage was my true CON of the stay. The nice lady that checked us in did help to take our bags upstairs, which was an awesome thing to do. You are right on the main road so you have city buses to take you all over. Oh and the Norman's Restaurant has the best food and you get a discount for staying at the hotel.
- 1/5
First off they cancelled our reservation for no reason and double booked our room and when we got there all the way from New Hampshire at 9 pm at night the staff was very rude and said we’ll we can offer you one night or you can sleep on the street never again then we had to fight to get refunded worst place ever would never recommend to my worst enemy no respect whatsoever
- 1/5
The pictures must be from when they first open. This hotel is tan down paint chipping smell like mold. The beds are twin size force advertising for a queen size. Wi-Fi doesn’t work. You can use the microwave it turns all the power off in the room. No one speaks English so trying to explain issues forget about it. The furniture Is old and peeling as well. Horrible experience for my visit to Miami. The toilet sit is evening peeling like change that please even if people aren’t sitting on it. Poor presentation.

The room was not cleaned not change the towels

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Amenities weren’t great, no turn down service. We didn’t spend much time in the room so it served it’s purpose but fresh towels and toiletries should be daily considering the hot weather.

Great location 2 blocks from the beach. You cannot hear much noise from the room. Convince of a restaurant downstairs with friendly staff. The air conditioner did smell a little moldy after it rained so that was kinda a bummer. No good parking

Perfect location , eco' friendly, accommodations is a problem but over all private and clean , partly worth the trip, without water in the bathroom, minor detail. Enjoyed my stay and plan to future stays with Normans.

Not a fan of writing reviews but I had to. … the welcome was nice. But the room is hazardous water leaks next to electrical sockets and wires sockets are not in right place AC very loud anyone can enter the building there is no passcodes not safe. Manager provides parking permit Wich is not useful when parking is only $2.35 for overnight. My car got towed had to go with my wife with cash at hand to get car out fees plus Uber cost us $300. The whole trip spent on trying to figure out parking. Manager is rude nothing but headache we drove 3300 miles to enjoy tge beach and this is what we got. I regretted my hotel choice. I feel hotel gave me wrong parking info and useless permit and I diffently want hotel to compensate us for the towing including Uber. Hopefully whoever read this takes notes and to be very careful when dealing with this place.

La ubicación muy buena. La atención buena. Pero las condiciones del edificio requiere remodelación y es un poco caro para las instalaciones.

Overall stay was good, but it’s absolutely crazy that they offer free parking at the parking lot beside the hotel from 6 PM to 6 AM and then after that your car can get towed insanity.

If you’re unfamiliar with Miami and Miami Beach, then you may not know that it is a very “dingy” place. Don’t get me wrong, the scenery is beautiful. That being said, the room was clean as far as Miami standards go and the staff was helpful as well. The toilet in my room wouldn’t flush, the shower/bath water had a hard time making its way down the drain and the A/C could have been better too. I lived in the North Miami Beach area for nearly 5 years, so the location of the hotel and bar was exactly what I was looking for while visiting family and friends. If you want a more exciting area to party and hang out, try South Beach, MidTown or Downtown. North Beach is not a party spot, but it is calm and the beach there is wonderful.

No place to park. No help from the bar staff. No hotel at all don’t waste your time I’m going to contact the booking site to have this place band they should not be allowed to scam people like this.

Hotel provides a very decent breakfast included in the stay that consist of a boiled egg, two pieces of fresh toasted multigrain bread, coffee, oatmeal (occasionally), fresh fruit: usually apple or orange, yogurt, and jelly. What needs to improve: Internet. from eight days we stayed there - internet worked only on day one, seven days - there was no connection. Some soundproof work needs to be done as well. You can hear everything what is going on: neighbours listening to a music, arguing and having a domestic dispute during late hours. I have no clue how their ventilation system works, but smoke smell came to our room, and it was chocking. Front desk has very limited hours, like 10 AM - 4 PM, so if you want to mention or address any issues you have - you need to be there during this time

I liked the older building with the colired tiles in the bathrooms. The pictures on my walls were especially beautiful and this is important to me because some hotels/motels have ugly wall art that I cannot tolerate.

It was good and quiet..Nice accessible area

The beach was close and the price was reasonable. I had to pay $10 a day for public parking.

It was a hotel... a 1-2 star hotel at best. I mean the tub had duct tape covering a hole.. it was nothing at all like the pics... dingy, very very dingy. The only good thing about this place was the location. Also, to enter into the building you’re climbing over diners.. see street front pics to understand. 2 stars at best-

This location is basically self-service. Rooms need updating.
- 2/5
The pictures on the websites are not what the rooms really look like. The rooms are a lot smaller & the bathrooms are outdated. The a/c unit was extremely dirty & the tv provided in the room was the size of a small computer monitor.
- 4/5
it was great but they need new matters in the room

Would stay here again. Across the street from the beach. Full service restaurant and bar with good service downstairs. My only recommendation would be to get a little better quality mattress.
