    The room and oceanfront view was amazing! Waking up each morning to that spectacular ocean view was everything! I came to the resort with a much needed relaxation, recommended health wise. My blood pressure was very high upon arrival and I can honestly say by the time I left it had dropped significantly and physically and emotionally feeling great. A majority of the staff including cleaning services were outstanding for the most part. Max at the coast a grill was also the absolute best. He was truly great and the food there was delicious!!! The trip was so wonderful my sister and I extended it to 2 extra days. Definitely worth coming back.

    We had dinner at Il Mulino Restaurant, the food was fine but the service was not at the level it should be for a restaurant at that level. Where the breakfast and beach staff was extremely tentative.

    1. Our reserved pool chairs were given away not once but twice. I understand the need for a one hour hold limit, but staff didn’t communicate this to us. 2. The shower products are abysmal! The scent is like bitter citrus rind. The worst we’ve ever smelled in over a dozen Miami hotels. Even worse, the dispensers are flimsy & awkward and do not dispense enough at once. Horrible. The hotel would also do well to get with the Miami hotel “trend” of pumping out some nice scent everywhere. 3. The omlette station location should be changed immediately. It’s a ridiculous wind tunnel for those placing their orders & waiting for them. Not to mention staff traffic. It’s chaos. 4. We had to ask for our promised Dyson hairdryer FOUR times before we finally got it. We had even called in advance about it. 5. Mulino - nowhere near the price tag. Too many servers. Long long waits. Surly host. Entire experience seems like a cash grab. Meatballs were bland & tough and completely overcooked. Very odd experience (almost creepy) that is “tired” and needs a complete overhaul. Avra was ten times better in every way. Newer, more vibrant. Better service. Top notch food, felt like a true hot spot. One enormous kudos to Rosa, concierge. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and fantastic!!

My i-Pad didn't work for 2 days. Finally, on the last day, 2 of 3 elevators were inoperative. I worked for an elevator company, they make their money from 24/7 service! They were never repaired all day, causing us to almost miss our flight due to the delay in getting down from our room.

    I’m really disappointed. When I booked I got the information if major construction and noise. I can’t tolerate noise. I left early because of anticipated construction the staff told me about but was not offered a refund for the last night. This should not happen to platinum members of expedia

    The most important that I would like to mention, is the staff and the service. Everyone generally likes their job and what they do. When questioned the front desk lady argued the matter by saying when we checked in we were given a letter to say we get a certain amount per day for breakfast. I objected as one cannot say breakfast is included and then change extra. Only after making the point that one complains and nine vote with their feet, and the lady saying something in Russian, she offered to remove the extra charge for breakfast from the account. The good experience staying at the hotel for three days was cancelled when we left feeling offended. I must add by saying we were upgraded when we checked in and the rest of the staff were going out of their way to assist. Unfortunately checking out was unpleasant. It’s the first time that we experienced that a booking promised breakfast is included only to find out it’s restricted to an amount that doesn’t even cover the normal buffet breakfast.

    Our recent visit to Acqualina Resort was nothing short of amazing! From the warm welcome by Mike, who provided us with wristbands, to the attentive staff arranging beachside couches and oceanfront chairs with umbrellas, the experience was exceptional. The food recommendations were consistently delicious, and the pool was fantastic—my son even learned to swim there! A special shoutout to Alize and Valeria for their outstanding care.     Matt was very helpful! We loved everything about the stay , except for the fact that we didn’t get upgraded to the ocean view suite, even though we booked last minute and was told it was available. Part of what makes the hotels.com platinum status (180+ nights this year ) great is the comp upgrades. But this property seems to make excuses why they can’t. That being said everything else is perfect, and we are making this our go to hotel when we are in the area, I just booked another stay for 4 nights at the end of the month.

    I’ve stayed here once before and thought it was great but this trip changed my mind. I wouldn’t stay there again and would not recommend it. The room conditions were terrible— the shower didn’t work and they took 4 hours to fix it rather than move me (even though I asked) and while they “fixed it” the water was shut off to the entire room so the kitchen, powder room etc were unusable. Multiple lights in the room didn’t work; one of the telephones didn’t work; one of the TVs didn’t work. They really do not have a professional operation unfortunately. And the staff, including the manager, were not helpful at all when these problems were respectfully brought to their attention. It’s ok though, I just won’t stay there again.

    Few things weren’t great, however. We were given a 6th floor room and had a view of a balcony below us. Not a big deal, but it was really disappointing to have a construction crew start working on that balcony at 7am. The hotel knew we had a baby with us (they provided a crib) so I’d expect a true luxury resort to think ahead and not put us in a room that’ll be loud early in the morning. Aside from that, the room was generally loud - we could hear the HVAC unit humming all night. Not sure if that’s true for every room or just ours. One small additional detail - typically at a luxury hotel, someone helps you with your bags as soon as your car pulls up. We were only helped after checking in. Not a huge deal, but didn’t feel like a true luxury resort.

    The resort exceeded all of my expectations and I've never experienced this level of accommodations at any resort. The communication was stellar, the resort itself had everything we needed and they truly went above and beyond to provide the 5 star experience. There were no hidden fees. No issues at all. You get what you pay for! One restaurant recommendation givdn to us for dinner was the Surf Club, which is a popular restaurant at The Four Seasons. The ambiance was nice, but the food was very basic and grossly overpriced. I do not recommend it. However, this is not connected to the Acqualina

    WONDERFUL, beautiful property and beach! We were treated like royalty and wanted for nothing all week. The food was exceptional, the spa was fabulous, but the true stars were the people who work there. They were gracious, polite, kind, generous, and very helpful. The suite upgrade we received was beyond our dreams and made our 40th wedding anniversary celebration so special. Thank you!! Thank you!! We can’t wait to stay at Acqualina again.

    the food was mediocre. I was expecting a lot more from the breakfasts, especially given the price. The quality of the food was quite disappointing. the beds and pillows are also way too soft. I ended up with back and neck pain.

    The atmosphere was sleepy. We were often the only family in the pool. Beach and pool service start late and end early. Staff would be scrambling to set up chairs when we got to the beach at 9 and they’d be packing up around us while we were playing on the beach at 4. We’re not factoring this into our rating as it’s personal preference but if you’d like to be able to have a drink in your beach chair at 6 pm, this is not the place for you. Our biggest issue was with service. Everyone was friendly but the delivery was totally lacking. Employees would offer to set up beach chairs but never return. Multiple times, we asked for water at the beach but never got it. We rented a cabana for the day and only saw our server once. We asked for a menu and waited an hour to get it during the cabana rental. We went up to our room while our daughter napped and found the cabana packed up when we returned even though there was an hour left on our rental. We called the concierge to see if we could get a carseat and were promised a call back, but never got one. The list goes on and on. At times we felt like an Applebees is more attentive than this 5-star hotel. Each staff person was very nice so it seems like there is a management/systems issue.

    Amazing very professional check in experience 5 star service from receptionist Valaria! The welcome drink and room upgrade was a special touch and very much appreciated! Lovely beach and chairs service. We had a delicious lunch at the beach front restaurant and a fantastic dinner at the Italian restaurant. Both catered well to kids. The valet was a bit complicated on weekends as they cater to three popular restaurants in the hotel and not just the hotel guests.

    We stayed for just 2 nights but wished it was longer. The service by all staff was amazing. Everyone was so nice and eager to please. We dined at the Italian restaurant on the property which was such a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and service impeccable. If you are looking for a luxury experience I highly recommend Aqualina.

    Forbes rated the Acqualina Resort a 5 Star Hotel and Spa and it earned every star during my stay there. It is by far the most amazing hotel I have experienced in my lifetime. When you arrive, the smiling, front desk staff sets the tone by offering you a glass of prosseco as you are given a tour of the expansive, beautifully manicured resort that sits right on the ocean. Next you are off to your 650 sq. ft. fully white paneled room. The spa is staffed by true professionals for your every need. If you want glamour and peace at the same time, you will find it here. I took my daughters to celebrate their missed birthdays and the end of the pandemic online learning for their boys. It was exactly what the three of us needed.

    Acqualina was a new name for our family and what a happy surprise. It exceeded our expectations in everyway. My wife booked this resort because she loves the crimson red color and of course the excellent reviews. The architecture designs, décors, color schemes, and amenities are all done very tastefully and thoughtfully. To make things even better, we got some super nice treats from Victoria. We felt very spoiled. Lastly, all staffs, services, and the food are excellent. It was one of our most enjoyable stays and we will be back. Thank you again Victoria and Jackie for your sweet hospitality.

    Beautiful hotel, outstanding service, but constant construction in the adjoining Acqualina Mansions was rather distracting. We had a balcony overlooking the ocean but could not really enjoy it because of the noise.

    The grounds were beautiful! The staff was very thoughtful and kind, but sometimes (more often than not) it would take us asking multiple times for water, etc. Also, ordered Avocado Toast in the morning for breakfast and the toast was burnt to a crisp- it was $23 dollars, for one piece of toast. They did not reimburse the meal.

    Nice hotel, some times no restaurant capacity for guest of the hotel, me and my wife had been multiples times before and use to loved, use to be vey quite and relaxing hotel...
