Aside from these minor issues, the hotel was very nice, and I enjoyed my stay.

The staff are courteous and friendly and each one was helpful. The views are beautiful from either side.

The staff was nice but the room was just Ok. There were not enough towels and face clothes for my party and when I asked the front desk they didn’t have any either. There was no in room telephone (at least not one that I found). The window shades were in need of repair and the there were no linens or blankets in the room for the sofa beds,etc.

We came down for a few days while my husband had a job interview and picked to stay at the Alexander because my daughter said “it’s pink and cute”😂and it was definitely very cute! Our room was nice and clean, the staff were very kind any time we interacted with them. The ocean view was absolutely beautiful and being able to set out on our balcony and listen to the waves crashing in was so peaceful. We really enjoyed having a little bar area at the pool and being ale to set poolside and order food and drinks. The condo had plenty of beach chairs and an umbrella to take to the beach. The was the first time we had ever stayed right on the water and I’d recommend The Alexander to anyone!

Older hotel that needs some repairs in some areas. One of our showers needed fixed and 2 window shades need repaired, however, this was not fixed in our stay. The furniture and TVs in our rooms were good and loved the balcony ocean view. The beach access and pool area was nice. Loved the walking/bike path by the water that extended up and down Miami Beach. Valet parking was very convenient but a public parking area nearby was an option. Free lounge chairs and pool/beach towels were great , but the umbrella rental is $15. Overall a very good deal for the price as compared to others in the area, but just know it’s an older beach hotel/condo that needs some ascetic repairs and updating.

The rooms were dirty, one bathroom had mold, there were no inflatable frying pans.

This is my second time at The Alexander and the amenities are my favorite part! I love having easy beach access, the pools and the sauna However on this stay my room had a terrible sewage smell and I did not get a response from my host fast enough in order to fix this issue. Also they tried charging a ridiculous amount for 2 shots at the bar and the bar manager was very rude to us. Other than that it’s a beautiful property, close to everything we wanted to do.

We had The Best room ever. Everything was just as described in the photos. We actually thought things would be not as pictured but e were so pleased. I mean every picture!! we weren’t able to find many reviews prior to arrival so we are more than pleased to give a good review. The place is so beautiful. We had a corner ocean view room which was fabulous. It was worth every penny.

some improvement. One of the showers only has one glass door so water would get everywhere after use. There weren’t any cleaning supplies to help tidy up and majority of the outlets in the condo wouldn’t hold a charging cube. The hotel staff were very accommodating and it was great to use the pool and have beach access. The drinks and food at the pool are extremely overpriced and they don’t allow you to bring your own drinks/food. Great view from condo balcony!

Worst place I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life completely disgusting and dirty. Staff is completely rude. No accommodations. No one comes and checks up on us.

Good view, the apartment was in good condition

The beach access was the only part of this stay that I genuinely enjoyed. Beyond that, the experience was extremely disappointing. I was checked into an unclean unit, moved to another room that also had cleanliness problems, and spent valuable time addressing issues that should never occur in properly managed accommodations. Nothing about the stay matched the level of service or comfort I expected

Beautiful ocean view.

The condo itself was fine, other than we did not have enough towels to accommodate 8 people. The Alexander Hotel is NOT a luxury resort. There is NO maid service. You have to take your dirty towels down to the rude front desk and exchange them, one for one, every day. You also have to request trash bags and toilet paper. The valet service, which you are forced to use, does nothing outside of bringing your car. Not one time did they open any of our doors or get our bags or luggage. Other than the front lobby, the elevators and hallways are littered with trash. The pool area is nice and updated but has very strict rules. I had to show what was in my pool bag every day to make sure I didn’t have so much as a water bottle. No outside food or drink allowed. But out of all 5 days at the pool, I only had a pool server ask me one time if we wanted anything from the bar. 2 alcoholic drinks and 6 non alcoholic drinks totaling $120! You can also sit on the beach but there is no bar or food service out there. Only 2 times out of the 5 days did they actually have any towels at the pool ready. There is also no room service at this “luxury” resort. The only resistant is a Jewish restaurant. The permanent residents of the building are extremely rude, cutting in front of guests at the elevators and closing the doors on them. Like I stated our condo was good, but the “resort” itself brought our experience way down.

Room had an ocean view if you looked to the side. If you look straight out the glass door it’s another building. Not the view like the picture.

Hotel is clean and central located to all miami has to offer, has an adults pool and kids pool, pool bar with food. direct access to the beach with chairs, wasnt aware how big and spacious our unit was going to be, full kitchen, full size fridge.

We had booked a four bedroom apartment but when we got there to check in; there was only two bedrooms and three beds. We had seven people. Before finalizing the reservation we checked on three different phones that there was four bedrooms. We made it work, however I feel we paid the price for a four bedroom. Last year we had two, two bedroom apartments at about the same price.

The valet, front desk and pool attendance and servers were all very good. Great pools and lounge availability and great beach access. The units vary in terms of condition depending on the individual owner We had a fantastic ocean view but the unit itself wasn’t upgraded to a good standard years ago when done and is aging poorly and not in the best condition

Clean rooms, staff was excellent beautiful scenery

Rooms were spotless. Staff was exceptional courteous and helpful. Amenities were great. Would definitely choose again!

very dissapointed after a long trip i was welcomed to a dirty room that was not cleaned from people before! this was after 4pm check in, i had to wait almost 2 hours for them to clean it up ! on my third day there about 2pm i went to my apartment and found the maintenance guy there !! no one was ordered to my room as per me and front desk ! I was in such shock i still have trauma !!!! He gave me some lame excuse why he was there! this was supposed to be a private apartment! I hope expedia will deal with this and refund me or else i will take more action! this is besides regular service which is terrible no eating outside by pool ....or in area....there was a wedding there and we were not allowed to use facilities outside from 4pm they threw us out like dogs!!!! This place really ruined my once a year break!!!!

Only complaint was that it was expensive, but seeing it was a one night stay on New Year’s Eve, it’s kind of understandable. The apartment was nice though and the views were nice.

The bed was broken, and the arm of the chair was broken. The place could have been kept up a little better in comparison to condos we stay in at the same hotel.

Hotel front desk friendly. Only complaint only 1 elevator operating. But you can take the service elevator. To operate the elevator you need to use uour wristband and can only go to your floor on lobby. Jowever if ypu need a different floor as well ask the front desk to add thst floor to your wristband

The bathroom door lock was not working , one of the bed rooms door handle was loose, we stayed 4 nights there but no room service , no one even came to change the bed sheets .

Die Wohnung war hell und geräumig. Leider war neben der Wohnung eine große Baustelle mit viel Lärm. Die Küchenausstattung war nicht gut und es hatte auch keinen Geschirrspüler, ebenso keinerlei Utensilien zum Abspülen. In all unseren anderen Unterkünften war dies vorhanden.

They gave us a different room because the original room has a plumbing problem. The new room had plumbing problems as well… after my kids used the bathtub I tried emptying it and water got all over the floor because there’s a leak. The dishwasher was full of water and the AC didn’t work well. It was very hot. They lack big time on maintenance. The pool was completely full, way over capacity, and the drinks overpriced: $50 for a big pina colada and $27 for a small one!

There was not enough bedding, I had a hard time getting some.

The room they gave us was horrible. The ac leaked constantly, the furniture had paint marks, some walls and baseboards were scuffed, master bathroom door did not close, no closet space in master bedroom, the room was in desperate need of upkeep. Spoke with hotels.com representatives various times and nothing was done, the front was asking for an additional $200 to move to another room.

But it has lack of offers for eating. At The beach even when you can see a lots of seats unused, the people in charge only gives for free two per room no matter the amount of clients. You need more you Most Pay it, the umbrellas $15 each or take a sun's bath...

La pasamos , muy bien en el tiempo de estadía , limpieza impecable y buen trato de parte del personal , un hotel muy divertido , tranquilo y acogedor

The sofa/bed didn’t work

The beds was full of hair. The person at the desk told me that I had to make my own beds which I was scared to because why is the beds full of hair and a hair tye that was in bedding in the sheets. Me and my party left due to the room not clean. We did not stay at this place I need a refund. I contacted management and still no response from them

Stay was good . View was semi beautiful! . Next construction is going on . No sounds but but blocks the view . One of the master bathroom was not draining water during shower , also no exhausts in restrooms for such small bathroom. Other than this , we liked the place.

Customer service wasn’t the best waited 45 mins after check in time then wasn’t properly informed of any hotel details felt whooshed away after waiting so long for my keys. Valet was terrible. Hotel appt was beautiful and great views of the beach.

I caught my toe nail on the flooring and it took some of my nail off which has now cracked and removed half my nail I have pictures of the floor and my nail There was no bedding for the sleeper sofa we had to go down the reception twice to request We were given some very unpleasant sheets and a thin blanket not really a blanket more of a throw but were told pillows would follow about an hour later they did bring pillows and a blanket but thankfully we had some blankets and pillows in our car my husband walked down and got but there should have been in the unit and after the first request 2 hours later they were not delivered and we had to ask yet again!

A estadia foi ótima devido a localização, silêncio, piscina, acesso à praia! Porém, o apartamento precisa de cuidados, cabeceira da cama estava quebrada na suite principal, havia uma cama quebrada no segundo dormitório! Faltando acessórios na cozinha como panelas, sanduicheira! Restante tudo ótimo! Funcionários atenciosos! Hotel muito bom!

We rented a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. When we arrived the apartment was dirty and the sofas were dirty and full of stains. The staff was not helpful and Expedia did nothing to help.

One downside was supplies in our room were very limited. They wouldn’t allow you to bring pool towels to your room but every day they ran out of pool towels later in the afternoon.

I've stayed here 3 times in the past three years the accommodations went down each time. I will no longer stay here. The room this time was dirty and things weren't in good condition. The furniture was old and worn the bathroom was dirty. The first time i was pleased the last two times progressively got worse. I am not used to staying in such conditions.

the rooms does not get cleaned, we could not get towels for shower, whatever they lift the first day we used for three days. I asked the house keeper for towels, she would not give us towels stating we have to go to the front desk and make a request. no phone in the room to call the front desk. The room needs major renovation. Parking is super expensive $50 per night.

There was smoke coming out of the vent The whole time and the hotel wouldn’t do anything about it and my daughter was pregnant. The floor was broken in parts in my room. It was a terrible experience. They should never had rented it.

Security was at each entrance which initially was appreciated. Made ke feel a bit safer. But, we used the towels at the pool, naturally and tried to go back to our room to change and we were forced to return the towels at the pool and go up to the room, on the 17th floor, wet and cold. The hotel felt like a freezer. It was unbearably cold walkong through the main areas. My husbands shirt got wet at the pool, security would not allow him in the building until he put it on. The hottub and pool were probably the highlight of our stay. They were clean and well maintained. With all the options in Miami, i would never stay here again and i dont not recommend this Hotel. Oh and they never mentioned until our arrival that the fee for parking is $175 for the week! They tell you you can look for street parking but it is non-existent on that section of the beach. Never again!!

The location is excellent and directly located beside an inexpensive parking lot.. The beach and pools area was very good

We had a beautiful stay. Gorgeous hotel, spacious room. Really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzis.
