Room was I cleaned up in the bathroom, still had towels from previous visitors. Building did not have hot water when checked in once questioned they said it had been an issue all day hit was not mentioned during check in

This hotel was shockingly terrible. The hotel looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months if ever. When we got off the elevator, it smelled like there were plumbing issues as it reeked like someone had just stepped out of a long stay in the bathroom. :( And then, when we opened our door, there was a pile of flyers and advertisements for local restaurants – like random people are allowed in the hotel to distribute junk mail under the doors. There were also several holes in the walls of our room. I didn’t complain at the time because we were in a jam and we needed a room out of necessity (albeit we still paid almost $300 for the night), but I would never ever recommend this hotel to anybody – even if they were in a jam.

My wife needed to stay a night at the airport before she caught the train the next day she had stayed at La Quinta before, but the property has deteriorated quite a bit since then, and she was very unhappy with the stay cannot recommend

It's a bargain next to the airport. I took the shuttle to the Car Rental and just walked over. I was comfortable but others might be spooked walking around the airport industrial area late night. The building is in disrepair. Duct tape holding the down the elevator call button on 3rd floor. My air worked. Pool area was nice. Bed was clean. Free breakfast was of the lowest quality foods but filled me up. Staff was nice, some talked more syllables per second then I could understand but would slow down if asked. Shuttle to the cruise ship was on time for pick up and deliver was fast and only $15. Great stay for bargain and location hunters. Convenient location for walkers since all ground transportation could be found at the car rental. Bus, monorail and Tri-rail can be found. Not convenient for grabbing a quick bite. Next time I will have Dominos delivered. Thanks for reading.

It was difficult for me to find the airport shuttle pick up in Miami, the first staff I spoke to was blunt in directions, however, the other staff member was extremely helpful (was my first time in Miami). Once I got to the area, the shuttle bus was on time. Some staff were helpful. My door key stopped working before I checked out. The amenities/ furniture was outdated.

Roaches insides of room, rooms were not cleaned. Even after complaining and changing into a new room on a new floor there were still several roaches and uncleaned rooms. House keeping did not clean room during entire stay. False advertisement of breakfast included it was waffles and apples. TV channels did not work and rooms had broken chairs and equipment. Shower curtains broken and brown. And room could not maintain hot water. Was only cold/warm. One of the worst experiences at a hotel stay i have had.

Online checkin and checkout. Breakfast has limited choices as compared to 2 other hotels in Miami within a week. Breakfast until 9am but at 8:30am, they were not refilling items anymore. Most areas in the dining area was not cleaned or being attended to right away to clean the mess. The bathroom’s conditioner wasn’t refilled before our use and nothing comes out of it. Some chairs have worn-out look which needs replacement both in room and dining. The receptionist at counter checkin wasn’t that pleasing and welcoming. She was not proactive helping me out the wifi details.

The room was to dark, not neat clean, the bathroom dirty, the shower courting and Tina were broken and filthy. When I was checking in I use the toilet and was not toilet tissue and the outlet for turning the light was broken. I have pictures of evidence. Finally a young man gave us another room.we found clothes of other guests inside the drawer.

The hotel is so old and needs to be revamped. We paid 116$ (tax included) per night … I think it is expensive for what we get. However, it is so close to the airport and we could leave the car parked there for the weekend… that’s amazing !

This is hands down the worse hotel I have stayed at. Property smelled like dog/human piss and weed all down the hallways. Rooms have questionable fluids on the walls. Wall a/c was terrible even after changing rooms from one that the a/c was just a fan. I don't know how anyone trusted this hotel with the free breakfast they offered. If they dont maintain their rooms why do you think their kitchens are clean. Elevators were dirty and shook anytime you stepped in them. Tv also didn't work, played sound but no visuals. Honestly if you are desperate that room was only worth $50 dollars a night to keep you off the streets and sadly i paid $100 for a night. Disgrace of a La Quinta inn.

Having arrived at check-in around 10:30pm due to delayed flight, I was disappointed there were no face towels in the bathroom. When asked for same to be replenished, the Front Desk Clerk said he was only able to find one and there were no more available until the following morning.

There was supposed to be complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport included in our stay. Upon arrival we waited 2 hours; SHUTTLE NEVER CAME! I paid $20 for an 7 min trip up the road. After check in, the room seemed fine until I started noticing roaches & our sink was leaking BAD! No ice machine was on the 3rd floor & they don’t offer bacon or sausage for breakfast, just bagels, eggs, yogurt and waffles.

Well, I did the check in, when I got to the room the AC wasn’t working at all and the room was hot. I went back down to the front desk and the young man at the desk told me that they didn’t have any more rooms available and that he wasn’t refunding my money because I did my reservation through Hotel.com, so we had to stay in a Wyndham nearby. I lost that money

The airport shuttle only comes once an hour. Shuttle didn’t arrive when suppose to. The Staff member checking us in was on a personal phone call the whole time we were checking into the hotel. The room key was not activated, so we had to go back downstairs to get the key activated (likely distracted from personal phone call), neighbors were very loud, only one pillow per person. The mattress had dips in it that caused you to roll inwards to the middle of the mattress. The TV did not work. We did not use pool-no comment there. Breakfast selection included eggs, bread, waffles, yogurt, corn flakes. I stay at La Quinta’s pretty often, and this felt more like a comfort inn/motel 8. Not a good experience.

This location needs major renovations and the staff needs to be trained on customer service and manner. The entire hotel smells like cigarettes and dirty mop. No microwave, or refrigerator as advertised. The room does not come with a phone. If you need assistance from the front desk you have to go down there or use your personal line. There’s constant noise outside.

Nothing the whole property was run down, we got a room with two double beds, the door wouldn’t open not even the master key would open it, claimed to have upgraded our room but instead we were stuck with one bed and a couch, couldn’t even give us another blanket said that the cleaners would, they never came so i went to the front desk and he said there aren’t any. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

As a result, I was unable to sleep comfortably because my skin became itchy and I constantly felt as though bugs were crawling on me. Additionally, both tissue rolls in the bathroom had less than a quarter remaining, which reflects poor housekeeping standards. The chair at the desk was also heavily soiled, particularly the arm rests. The television also did not work properly. The screen had a white overlay/fading issue, making it very difficult to see the picture clearly

The breakfast provided vas in a clean area and there was enough to choose from a simple breakfast. The hotel was very close to the airport so that was convenient. The eggs for breakfast were cold but that is nothing to compare to our stay. The room was dirty we could not walk barefoot because it was so dirty, there were hairs in the sink, the TV did not work for a while because there was no connection but when finally worked we had to call for help because the remote control did not work and we had to change the remote 3 times. Then we had a very noisy AC and the worst of it all we had NO hot water all Saturday from the moment we checked IN until almost time to check OUT. We were very surprised when we found out that there was no staff to help with the issues that we encounter but thank God we had a great Maid of the floor named ANA that helped us to resolve the remote control issue and the TV. She was the sweetest lady ever, thank God for her. This was my birthday weekend get away and the hotel was very disappointing. Would I go back again, never no matter the price or the location. The room was not that cheap to have such a bad experience. I will never recommend this hotel.

This had to be the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Everything is outdated. The hotel and rooms smelt like mold and old wet rags it was awful. The beds were hard and had metal pieces sticking out. We had no fridge, no microwave and the AC just stopped working out of nowhere! It was an awful experience for myself and my family. Never ever again will he stay here. This place needs to be coded and shut down.

Room was dirty and we were able to look at 3 other rooms which all were dirty in some way. Would’ve checked out if I didn’t have a surgery scheduled early that next morning and wasn’t interested in trying to stress about somewhere else to stay. We bought cleaning supplies and room spray because it smelled very musty and we dealt with it ourselves.

The staff was very nice. But the property itself was very dirty, and not well maintained. The elevator situation was a little scary. It rattled and would stop and go. And the second elevator just didn’t work. Breakfast was lacking.

I also didn't like not having a Phone in the other room and the staircase on that floor smelled Horrible. Lastly they didn't come to clean my room at all and when I asked my child to go get 2 sets of towels he was told there weren't any clean/available. I believe that at least 2 sets of towels should always be available especially when there are at least 2 guest in 1 room.

Total abandon not well kept.. sunken bed mattress very poor very high rates over $49 per night... extra security fees etc??.. Old stain carpet.. past due subject to change new elevators renovations steps or new building must be done. The most ruin down La Quinta hotel don't meet the criteria advertised needs to be improved schedule etc.. No free stay offer here just terrible results and yet I'm still itchy while I stay here extra problems not fixed?

When I got to my room, I discovered the shower was filthy. I went back down immediately to ask them to send housekeeping or move me to another room. The receptionist, with an incredibly arrogant attitude, told me that no cleaners were available and that they were completely booked. However, just seconds later, a couple walked in asking for a room, and he gave them one right in front of my face. Seeing this, I wanted to leave and demanded a refund back to my card. He flatly refused. I told him I hadn't even been in the room for a single minute, and he falsely claimed it had already been 10 minutes. When I argued that it was only a minute, he dismissively said, "You can leave if you want, but I cannot give you your money back." To avoid losing my money, I was forced to stay, and I had to clean the shower and the dirty toilet myself. Extremely poor service, I absolutely do not recommend this place.

I have stayed at other la quinta hotel and was very please with my stay. This location was the worst, there was no telephone in the room, the air condition was not cooling, the furnitures in the room need to be changed the material on the chairs are torn, the breakfast presentation was not good at all. The parking area need to be landscape as the trees leaves was dropping on the car. We were not please with our stay.

Reserved a 4 night stay at La Quinta. Front desk staff seemed frustrated, hotel had little to no snacks for purchase and woke up to a live ROACH running track on the side table lamp shade (video & pictures to provide it) I reserved another hotel for the remainder of our stay in Miami, checked out of the La Quinta, asked for a refund and they proceed to charge me for my entire 4 night stay, upon our return home and several phone calls directly to the hotel, I did receive a 3 night refund, La Quinta will NEVER get my money again!

Airport shuttle was quick and easy. Staff was awesome. Room was bad, AC didnt work then the second room i got someone else had a key card to it. They open the door at 945pm. As a single female traveler it was concerning. No desk staff available after 10pm. Pool was clean. If your staying to get to the port or airport its sufficient. Keep in mind ypu can hear planes all night every 5 minutes.

El piso de las habitaciones está sucio, reservé dos habitaciones, en la mía encontramos debajo de un de una camas un pantalón de mujer con el blúmer enrollado, de que manera limpian que no vieron eso. En mi habitación no había microondas y mini refrigerador. Me sorprendió y pensé que simplemente no había en las habitaciones hasta que entré a la de mis padres y vi que si había refrigerador y microondas, pero en el mi no. En la habitación de mis padres el aire no funcionaba en absoluto, el personal me cambio la habitación, en esta el aire funcionaba pero aunque no muy bien, lo que sí había era un olor terrible a humedad. En ninguna de las habitaciones había señal de televisión, algo que resolví desconectando y recolectando, pero no me toca a mí hacerlo. En la recepción encontré a una huésped quejándose de lo mismo y a otro señor cambiando la habitación por que el aire no función. Calor en el pasillo, llegaba sudado a la habitación. A los elevadores se les atascaba los botones y no se movían y estaban sucios. Esperé al desayuno a ver qué me encontraba, al principio todo bien hasta que probé los waffles, estaban ácidos, como si la mezcla estuviera dañada. Honestamente no entiendo como un hotel puede operar de esa manera. Lo mínimo que espero es una compensación por el dinero pagado por una estancia incómoda y llena de problemas. No recomiendo a nadie quedarse en este hotel.

Our stay was a bit of a letdown - the pool was dirty, breakfast was underwhelming, and the TV didn't work for the entire two days. Thankfully, the kids had brought their tablets to keep themselves entertained.

Rooms felt extremely humid, the bed sheets did not seem clean and some had visible stains, and the elevator was concerning since it was missing buttons and jolted every time the doors opened. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything happening in the hallways and nearby rooms, including guests smoking and partying late into the night. The shower was also out of body wash during my stay. Front desk service was inconsistent, although one staff member was genuinely kind and helpful. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in quite some time.

I was made to leave by MPD, suitcases in tow, and put out in the street. Luckily the Hyatt was within walking distance, and they were kind enough to let me stay in their lobby, fed me, and allowed me to shower the next morning. LaQuinta and Hotels.com should both be ashamed if themselves for the way they treated a customer. Also, I saw roaches crawling uo the wall in the lobby, gross. DO NOT STAY IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT...NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, MORALS, OR HONOR AS A BUSINESS!!!

The hotel is long overdue for an upgrade. Air conditioning was rather noisy. The hallways needed vacuuming, There was an old sandwich in the microwave. Our king size bed had 3 pillows and were rather flimsy.

The airport shuttle never came and no one told us that it was not going to come. We had to Uber using another customers Uber. We were 20 minutes before boarding. We almost missed our flight. On top of that we had to pay the Uber fee.

We were told that no other rooms were available and since we had already stayed in the room we couldn't get a refund. We had only stayed in the room for 10 minutes at that point. After nearly 3 hours on several chats and conversations with Expedia we were able to cancel our 2nd night and got about half our money back.

Soap was empty. No wash clothes, asked at desk and was told they don't have any, use a towel. Tripped on the vinyl flooring in the room that was sticking up. Hallway was soaking wet, splashed when walking through it, no way around. Wasn't sure the courtesy van would make the 5 minute trip from the airport to the hotel. Very poorly maintained hotel and equipment. Place smelled like old stale smoke. Prices for bottled water varied by the clerk selling it. Paid from $1 to $3 for the same brand/size bottle of water sold in the little convenience snack area.

The issues started with the elevator. One of them would not close on its own—I literally had to hold the “close door” button the entire time just to get it to move. Otherwise, it would keep opening over and over, which was frustrating and inconvenient. When I got to my room, things didn’t improve. There were no washcloths, and there were visible dirty spots around the room. The sheets didn’t feel clean, which is a big concern. The bathroom was also not properly cleaned—the tub had residue and what looked like dirt around it. There was also only one usable outlet, which made it difficult to charge devices. I’m not sure if I got a lower-quality room because I checked in late, but cleanliness and basic functionality should be consistent

Airport shuttle was easy to find but the van was very old and not in good condition. There was no working AC and twice the van shut off during stops at a traffic light. The front desk was so busy on his cell phone that he couldn’t answer the phone when we were calling from the airport trying to find the shuttle to the property. One Lyft ride later we get told they don’t have the room we prepaid for! (Took awhile to check in due to his phone taking priority) We were put in a room on floor 1 that we had to walk through standing water to get to, ice machine was broken. The air was loud and not working well, very uncomfortable warm night. Breakfast was sad, basically waffles or bagel or toast. Out of hot water and orange juice. The front desk guy from last night said just to come down to catch the shuttle to the port in the morning - not the case! The shuttle was unavailable!

The hallways and elevator were dirty. The bath tub was patched. The office chair in the room was badly worn. There was only 1 wash cloth in the bathroom. When we opened the door to the room after checking in, there were several restaurant flyers laying on the floor. The guide on the TV was wrong. If you selected what the guide said was a particular channel, it tuned to a completely different channel. This was, by far, the most run down hotel I've stayed at in decades.

When you entered the hotel lobby, it had an odor. There was coffee spilled all over the floor inside the elevator. When you entered the room there were crumbs under the bed and by the dresser. No towels in the room the white bedsheets had stains on the and they were fresh from food. Bugs were crawling on the table and by the lamp and no phone inside the room so you had to walk down to the front desk for help.

This hotel is extremely old, the elevator stopped working our first night there, the bathtub leaked the whole time we were there so for 2 days straight, the bed had stains on it which I did take pictures, the desk chair was literally disgusting. Our TV was broken upon arrival. We notified the front desk and assumed that we broke it because we told them that we didn’t need it fixed right away. The hotel room was not cleaned as there were dust bunnies, poor furniture condition, and ill fitted sheets on the bed. The common areas were not well maintained. We check in early due to coming from a cruise. She told me check in was 3pm but if we clean the room early, she would get us in with a 50.00 upgrade. we told great she charges me the amount. then forgot about me I had to ask we got in the room at 3:01. She never gave back our upgraded amount we paid. When we got into our room, the card to the room didn't open my husband had to go back to the front desk to get that fixed. The maid opens the door for me. The floor was dirty and also the sink. I call down stair and told them no one never came up. I had to ask the maid that was cleaning the room down the hall for towels and wash clothes. there was only one hand towel. I always love La Quinta, but I see service is not their best suit.

I'm going to start by saying the lady that was working at the front desk was so kind, sweet, and empathetic when it came to our stay here. We cant remember her name but whoever worked April 2, 2026 in between 11:00am- 3:00pm, older latino lady thank you because you are the only positive thing we can say about our stay here. We were not happy with our stay here. They gave us a room and when we walked in, there were used water bottles and rice all over the floor. Of course I went down to front desk to let them know the room was not cleaned and they gave us another room. This room seemed cleaned but it had a lot of long stringy hairs everywhere mostly in the bed. We don't have hair like that so i know it wasn't our hair. Later that day we spotted a roach in the room. So no I most definitely would not recommend anyone to stay here nor would I stay here again.

This hotel is very dirty. There was a dirty rag left in the shower. The floors had so much dirt on it you could clearly see it. My husband and I both could not wait to check out. Luckily it was just one night before our cruise. The breakfast was really much. All I really saw that would’ve been good were the make it yourself waffles. It was so bad and dirty I slept in pants and a t-shirt. The best part was our transportation to the cruise port.

My one night stay was fine. La Quinta East offered a shuttle bus from the airport and complimentary breakfast. They also offered, for an additional fee, transportation to the cruise terminal. The entrance to the hotel was bright and clean. There was a laundry room and an ice machine room. I wish there were vending machines available to purchase snacks and beverages. The hallway rug to our room needed vacuuming. The room was well air conditioned and clean. It had a remote control TV, microwave, coffee maker, and an iron and ironing board. The beds had clean linen and were very comfortable. Receptionist desk employees were very professional and cordial. They were able to answer all questions asked.

Hands down this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The whole second floor smelt like mold. Our furniture inside the room was all falling apart. The floor was so dirty I had to wash it with a towel. There was so much mice poop behind the bed. The bathroom was just gross you can tell they don’t know how to clean just surface polished. All they offered was a waffle for breakfast. There is zero food around the area. If you don’t have a car you half to grubhub everything. I would never stay here again. La Quinta HQ needs to pull this franchise. This is not up to standards.

Appreciated being able to stay longer than checkout - albeit paid. Yes there were cleaner hairs in the bathroom but overall the room was fine. Odd placement of th sink- near the doorway and not in the bathroom. You don’t have to wait for the La Quinta shuttle as that’s hourly. The hotel is on the same campus as the Embassy Hotel and Hyatt (which is in front). This means you can get to your room quicker.

I booked online for early check in and was to pay extra $55. When we got to the hotel the front desk stated our rooms weren’t ready. When I mentioned the early check in and that it was approved, she stated that the only approved the request not that it was a guarantee. The hallways and elevator were filthy. The hotel shuttle is not properly marked so I missed it. I did the online check-in and upgraded my stay to a late 3 pm check-out. That never showed up and they woke me up at 12 pm. The key cards don’t work, you have to get a new one every time you leave your room. The bed and room had bugs.

Reserved shuttle to cruise port for next morning. Shuttle showed up and LEFT 30 minutes early, and refused to come back. We did get our money back, but it was supposed to be non-refundable. Even though it was just for 1 night before our cruise, in the future, I would spend more to stay somewhere better. Bathroom was still dirty upon check-in. Called front desk and they sent someone up to clean. Rationed bath towels and washcloths. No hair dryer first day. Had to go to front desk and request one. It was listed in amenities as having hair dryer in room. Got one the last night we were there. Breakfast was fair. As someone who doesn’t drink coffee, I was disappointed tea wasn’t offered. Pillows were smaller than standard, yet only 1 pillow per person. There were no phones in the room to call front desk. TV was small and on a small dresser. The dresser was so low you could barely see the TV from the beds. The dresser, with two drawers, had garbage in one and the other was full of plastic shopping bags. There was rust in the bathroom. The wall was splitting. Toilet was too low. Inside of toilet was dirty. One of our two room keys did not work.

ADDITIONAL ISSUES - Overall the entire property was shabby and dirty - Door to the room wouldn't open unless kicked - No TV remote in the room; asked for replacement and the replacement didn't work either - TV not working properly; the channel selected was not the one that came up - Was not told, and there was no sign or notice to indicate, that the thermostat/temperature control on the wall did not operate the HVA system. (The we had to discover for ourselves that system was operated at the unit itself.) I'm a business traveler and spend many nights a year in hotel rooms. I can honestly say that this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

I know they didn’t expect the storm to be an issue but check in took forever. The second day we saw roaches in our room. The third day the power was out so no coffee or hot water. Took asking the front desk 3 times that our tv wasn’t working when we checked in finally at 9 PM someone came ended up having to get us a different television. So no I won’t be staying there again.

Shower was cracked and outdated, TV is about to go up because the screen was black when we turned it on, floor was not swept, room is dark even with all the lights on and complimentary breakfast was HORRIBLE. The food area trash was over flowing and was not kept clean during service. The waffle batter must have been old because it tasted sour. My friend also saw there was a USED CONDOM in her sheets so that means the sheets weee not changed. I will never stay there again or recommend La Quinta to anyone

I lost my card, so we had to change the name to my daughter's, then we waited 3 hours to check in no early check in , no washcloth or towels in the rooom , i seen maid in the hall she said go to front desk an get them , shes the maid with buggy fill , so i went to desk an no toilet paper in room ether, i felt like i was the maid going to get everything, an i ask them do you know one elevator stuck open they didn't even know , it had hair on the sheets an the your girl said the maid had left, but i could change the bed , thats not my job very disappointing

Staff was not helpful, laundry was lacking, only 2 towels in shower, the hotel did not smell fresh and clean like the other Laquinta hotels we always stay at. We will be going to a higher end hotel with food options, the breakfast options were terrible ! We heard multiple people complaining too. Our key cards took several times of inserting to gain access.

Hate the concept of sinks outside bathroom; completely unsanitary. Right under MI flights, so noisy for hours on end. Provides breakfast was waffles and not much else. Would not stay here again.

Waited over an hour for airport shuttle. First night the air conditioner kept kicking on/off every 40 seconds and the toilet wouldn’t stop running. When asking the front desk to move us, the reply was that it’s an electrical transformer issue from a neighboring hotel that’s causing it. So night 2 was the same and once again asked because we couldn’t sleep but no other rooms, no offer of other hotel close by, etc.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but I felt inclined to do so after this visit. Dingy, rundown, unkempt, and disrepair are the words that come to mind. I pretty much just paid for a bed. No hot water at all, so if you like cold showers you are in luck. The room, although clean, certainly didn’t feel that way. TV does not work correctly. Woke up to no power. Couldnt use the elevators so had to walk down from the 3rd floor. Just an overall horrible stay. Don’t waste your money.

This was hands down the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. The price was outrageous for what it was. The room was filthy, the furniture was falling apart. The tub and shower had hair all over. We asked them to come clean and they didn’t. There was no fridge or microwave. The breakfast area was so dirty we couldn’t eat in it.

We got in late on a Saturday night and there was one employee at the desk checking people in And apparently she was the ONLY employee there so none of this was her fault. When we got into our room we found that the 2 beds had no sheets, blankets or pillowcases. We went back down and told her there weren't any bed linens and she was shocked. We felt bad for her because this was beyond her control. We asked for the linens and made our own beds. I blame Housekeeping management. This property got good enough reviews for me to book there so this must've been an off weekend for them. Also the airport shuttle service ended at 10 pm so that didn't help us at all since we arrived after 10 pm.

I cannot express enough how much I recommend NOT staying here. We have escalated our experience with the GM and Wyndham corporate. Cockroaches, stains and dirty sheets, completely unsanitary. Door keys don't work constantly resulting in trips to the front desk. Everything is so disgusting and damp and smelly . I don't know if I've ever stayed in a worse Hotel.

The staff seemed to rush everything seemed to be an inconvenience for them to do such as getting extra towels. The bed you can sleep on if you’re exhausted so you will sleep. In addition to only option is DoorDash and their service is a great.

Do not stay at this hotel cockroaches mold in a toilet feel in the bathtub fresh blood still on the sheets in the bed from the moment we stepped into this place till the moment we left which we only stayed one night we were supposed to stay three nights, it was horrific the chairs were supposed to be faux leather and they were. It was all worn off of the chairs looked like stuff that should’ve been thrown in the garbage. Do not stay with your family in this hotel.

Staff was good but the room was less than I expected. It was clean but the decor was very old. The tv was not working very well as the screen was damaged. At least the fan worked in the bathroom but the hot water was gone if you didnt get up early. There is no where to store luggage except for the managers office. The public bathrooms on first floor were single use and one of the bathrooms was always locked/not open.

We waited hours for the airport shuttle to pick us up from airport. Furniture was old and leather was pealing. This hotel is frequented by cruise goers who need a over night stay only. it very chaotic in the lobby pre check in and early in the morning waiting for shuttles and cruise transport.

Very disappointed in this hotel. It was dirty and very poorly maintained. I went out to the pool area to relax and a lounger chair literally broke when I sat on it, I’m a thin athletic built male. Elevator felt very unsafe with one of them having a panel held on/closed with duct tape. Do not rely on the airport shuttle service to get there after landing, they tell you to meet between gates 7 and 33 on the departures level, after waiting nearly 3 hours and countless phone calls to the front desk about where the shuttle is exactly and where to meet I finally got an Uber, of course with no reimbursement even through they failed to adequately provide a service they advertised.

This location is where the planes fly over so you will hear that all night. The key access to the rooms are old and it was not easy to get into the rooms. It takes several tries to get into the room. Nice hotel with a convenient location close to the Port of Miami cruise terminals and friendly staff. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Everyone was nice and breakfast had eggs, fruit, and breads, enough for our family. Our room was comfortable, it wasn’t dirty but you can tell the building has been in use for a long time. Our TV screen was messed up, the chair in our room had leather peeling off of it, and the bathtub was stained. The temp stayed cold and we slept well though.

Wyndam should be ashamed this is one of their properties. We found wet hand towel left in room. pool towel left to replace hand towels, obviously out of actual hand towels. transition between bathroom tile and room flooring missing transition cover, looked gross. pillows were terrible, very old and had a smell. One elevator felt dangerous, door didn't shut all the way and re-opened, not because someone hit the button because it jammed. elevator kept moving even after doors opened and major drops every time it started moving or stopping. Key in door constantly failed, not just on our room as we observed neighbors experiencing the same issue. TV, couldn't turn down the volume, had to get someone to reprogram the remote. All in all, property is very old, tired and worn.

Arrived between 12 and 1 AM to a very rude receptionist who switched languages mid-conversation and acted dismissive. When she asked if we needed a double bed, we said yes and mentioned a sofa-bed room as an alternative; she scoffed and said they were booked, as if that was an upgrade. Parking felt unsafe, and we weren’t told about the side entrance. The room was clean but very outdated—the tub was deteriorating, toilet paper was in the tub drain, the toilet barely flushed, and only two towels were provided for four people. Walls were paper thin; loud neighbors woke us at 6 AM, and there was no phone in the room. Housekeeping also walked in without knocking. Breakfast was simple and clean, but overall the stay was unpleasant. We checked out early and won’t stay again.

One staff person on who was rude about the shuttle never showing up. It was 11PM and she was overwhelmed and not pleasant. Proceeded to key the rooms keys incorrectly.

Amazing Staff ... could improve the amenities and maintenance of space. For example the door and key card doesn't work properly. Elevator was always a gamble to ride, so we've been taking the stairs.

The hotel was very nice for the price. It actually had a very nice buffet breakfast it actually had a very nice buffet breakfast and free parking which is really great near the airport . The only issues I had was that the directions on the map quest we're really bad and I kept going around in circles until I realized that the hotel was actually behind another hotel . It would help if there was some kind of signage to get to your hotel. The only other issue I had was that they were no fast food places for dinner in the surrounding area the attendant at the front desk could only suggest to me that I do take out with delivery which was very expensive . And through no fault of the of the hotel itself I decided to get in the car and drive to a Burger King but when I got to the location for the Burger King there was no Burger King and it was actually the entrance to the Miami International Airport so it was a wild goose chase and I ended up stopping at a convenience store and got the worst ham and cheese sandwich and a dessert and a bag of chips which cost me like $17 ! Again through no fault of the hotel itself and I do have to mention that in addition to them having the free parking and the free breakfast they also have for people going to the airport a free shuttle so for like $93 a night it really is an excellent deal and the staff was very helpful as well. The bed was very comfortable and I would like to find out who makes it. I would like to buy one for my home

The tv had interference bars and made it difficult to watch anything. The air conditioner unit was very noisy. The door to the room was very sticky and difficult to open And close. This hotel is very rundown and needs a complete overhaul. Would not recommend this hotel.

Room was not clean. We had 3 flimsy pillows (in my opinion they shouldn't use those for the guests). We requested extra pillows from the front desks, we were told that we will have it in 20 mins, we waited, no pillows) at this point we were hungry. We left to get a bite to eat, came back in 2.5hours and still no pillows. At this time 930pm, we're ready to go to sleep, asked again for the 3rd time and didn't get the amount if pillows we've requested. Poor service. Poor breakfast. Will not recommend

Nice size room. Extremely musty!! Thank God we brought plug-ins! After dinner, the room smelled great!! Disappointed that not all rooms has mini fridge or microwave. Too tired to wait for another room. Since this stay was for one night, did not bother. Unfortunately, for what I'm used to, this hotel, for me, is only good for one night and not more.

Rooms were decent. Staff were excellent. We were able to use the shuttle service to the airport to get to the rail system then into town for the evening. The staff were very helpful and let us check in early and an hour later than the stated times.

This was the dirtiest, most horrible hotel I have stayed at in the longest time. I routinely choose La Quintas for their quality but this place disgraces the name. The floors are filthy, the sinks leak, toilet doesn’t flush, towel racks falling off the walls, dirty sheets on the beds, flattest pillows, bugs crawling around, ants in the breakfast area. The grounds outside have trash everywhere. DO.NOT.STAY.HERE. You will regret it.

The property is run down. The furniture is not only scratched but gouged as well. The mattress’s sag in the middle. The desk chair looks like it was scratched repeatedly by a cat on the front seat. There was only one available plug in the room for our multiple devices. When we checked in we asked about a carry out breakfast but the guy at the counter said we’ll see. I expected a simple “Yes”, or perhaps a “No” but never a “Maybe”. I later spoke with the overnight person. Prior to Our arrival, I had registered online and set our preferences up yet none were observed nor responded to, I also noted that our too. As advertised for $80. I think I’m guaranteed a partial refund.

My original room had an extreme musty smell. Very dark and dingy. I asked to be moved. The new room looked better than the first but this room had roaches and a musty smell. The two front desk staff at 9am were very rudy. One was an older lady. Both refused to show me to cruise port transfer schedule so that I could decide if it was something I would be interested in. I took a $20 Lyft instead. The bathtub looked spray painted. It wasn’t giving a clean first impression. Needless to say I didn’t bother with the breakfast since the hotel was infested with roaches. Hopefully I can upload pics. If not I’ll put it in a google review.

To begin with we waited an hour and 20 minutes for the shuttle. The hotel was filthy. The elevator had stuff all over the walls and floor. The hallways had litter on the ground and were dirty. When we opened the door to the room it was littered with food flyers. The tv didn’t work in the room and the bath tub must have been painted but was cracked and peeling. We didn’t even want to stand in it. We decided to not even eat the free breakfast for fear of getting sick.

This is below budget level. No hand soap and asked cleaning person for some and I had to go to the front desk to ask for soap. No phones in rooms. Bathtub dinghy and possibly some mold. TV wouldn't show anything but a main menu, requested help from front desk and was told someone would come to check... no one ever came. One of the 2 beds had mattress that totally sunk in the middle and one of the sheets had a small rip. Finally, the first scheduled airport shuttle at 5 AM didn't occur because the driver was stuck in traffic and wouldn't arrive until at least 5:30. I will not stay at a La Quinta proprty again.

One of the dirtiest hotels I’ve been in ever. We had a hard time with the door key and had to kick the door to get into our room. It looked like they had not vacuumed the common areas for several weeks. This is a very dated facility with a cracked laboratory a coffee machine that was broken. It showed much neglect and seemed to be very understaffed. Steer clear of this place. I’m surprised that Wyndham put their name on this. The owner is milking the property.
