    The breakfast buffet was adequate, though not exceptional. That said, they did serve real eggs and sausage, which was appreciated. My primary criticism is that the property appears to be understaffed, which can result in long waits for service. Lastly, I noticed that the front desk staff, while polite and pleasant, frequently ignored ringing phone calls or appeared to take the phone off the hook when they became overwhelmed or wanted a break.

    But mostly the front desk staff was great. Upon check in everything was explained very thoroughly from the charges that would be on the bill to the Wi-Fi information. And the same when we checked out, very courteous staff. And in between, we use the shuttle drivers several times and had a great experience with them as well.

    Staff was rude-and never at the desk when you needed them I inquired about a late checkout I had read online there was an extended checkout for 3pm for an additional cost. I was told no they don’t have it. I went down for breakfast there was nothing but sausage. Just horrible. Carpets were dirty.

    We found the breakfast to be very good! Such a wide variety, especially considering our dietary restrictions (my daughter and I being vegan/vegetarian). All staff (aside from hotel manager) were very courteous, helpful, and accommodating! Otherwise, our stay was most enjoyable. This was our family's second stay, and we hope the third exceeds the last! Unfortunately, I did not like the feedback from the manager on duty for two nights of our stay; he was not considerate or hospitable. On one of the nights we had asked to combine our hotel credit, which we hadn't used during the time we were there. The manager denied it, and I truly think he could have been more flexible and used better discretion, especially knowing that we we were travelling with an old lady (my grand-aunt of 85 years) and my 3-year-old toddler. His reception was rather curt. The hotel location was OK... just a little drive from eateries. I think the cost of parking at the hotel garage was ridiculous!

    The staff at the reception was OK. Not very welcoming at all and we dealt with at least 5 different people for the three days there. Parking was good but expensive. Bed was nice. Windows need to be washed! Could not even see out of them very well they were so clouded over.

    We only had a night prior to a Norwegian Transatlantic Cruise. It was all we needed. Great location and cab from airport very prompt! Meal voucher bonus with a great little in lobby restaurant that we enjoyed and saved us heading out again after checking in. Only trouble we had was a shuttle to terminal because of messaging and used husband’s name different and so when they arrived no one knew us…partly our mistake so just a heads up get down half an hour earlier in the lobby so you hear your name. Definitely though we’d return and stay because or piece and location for the cruise.

    Carpet was filthy. Cigarette burns and rips and dirt. Aircindtioners smelled like mild and mildew. Had to go to 5 different room before I ever found one with newer carpet that a housekeeper was cleaning. She let me in to see it. I had to wait 45 mins

    This is the perfect location if you have to go to the hospital or the UM outpatient centers for medical treatment. It was a quick and safe walk to UM from the hotel. There is a parking garage that costs $30 per night. It’s a tight squeeze when driving a truck but it worked. All of the staff were very friendly. I was given a $20 food/beverage credit for each day. This is a basic no frills hotel.

    The room was nice and the staff were very nice. The location works well as it is close to cruise ports and not far from the airport. There is not much in the immediate area, but not far to get to several nice restaurants, etc. Biggest downside (and only one we noted) was that it is next to the Expressway and there is a lot of road noise all night.

    It really smelled horrible on the fourth floor. We complained several times. This hotel is used for medical purposes such as dialysis BBL’s and other medical purposes. It smelled like a nursing home in a hospital. We stayed here before our cruise. A lot of service people/workers going to other jobs. Come in to get coffee and food so you don’t know who is hotel staff/guest I would not stay here ever again a roach was seen at breakfast.

    I didn’t get the room i booked when i arrived at the hotel. I wasn’t even told that my room was being switched. The front desk receptionist did not communicate this to me before assigning my room and giving me a key. I was told only once i came back downstairs to ask why i wasn’t given the room i paid for. The hotel room also had an odor.

    Where do i start. Soon as we was getting ready for bed the fire alarm came on. So we had to evacuate. Nobody gave us no details on what happened. We had to ask the fire fighters for information. We was outisde in the rain for atleast a hour and a half. Other than that , the breakfast was good. Its not a bad hotel, just alot of traffic coming in and out.

    The AC was less than efficient. When it ran it was comfortable bit when it shut off it quickly got very stuffy in the room. The web site stated cruise shuttles available but the hotel staff wouldn’t do anything but give you a card with phone numbers. When I tried to book, the price showed $75 each for a 3 mile ride.

    Breakfast: the toasters were no operational. The breakfast sausage was awful.. like ground oats. Powdered eggs were ok. Excellent burger& fries and ok meatball appetizer in bar the night before. The bartender was taking orders, mixing drinks and delivering food. She did a great job, but was running to keep up. The desk staff was excellant too.

    What a great place to stay close to the Miami medical complex. Walking to the nearby hospital was easy and felt safe. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The contiguous garage was easy to access and had many available spaces. One highlight was how friendly and supportive the other hotel guests were. All-in-all a good experience and I highly recommend this property!

    When I stayed at this hotel, I accidentally left my blazer at the hotel rooms closet. Like maybe 3-4 hours I called them asking them to ask housekeeping if they found it. They said they must file it for tomorrow to check as it is company policy and I respected that. During that, I made sure I called everyday to ask them to check but every time the would find excuses and refer to the company policy of laying the message off to housekeeping. Now, today in a very bad mood I asked them to check immediately and it was too late. It wasn’t in there, I’m not sure if housekeeping took it or the person that checked in after us. However it is because of their terrible management chain and organization. Don’t stay here. Also attitude of employees others than the front desk is terrible. The housekeeping didn’t clean our room the second day because they didn’t find our tip and the bar employee in our second day was refusing to let us buy items at the little market because it was 3-4 minutes after their checkout system closing time. Overall, don’t stay here avoid it, and if you lose something you will never recover it here.

    Terrible experience, I stayed in the hotel for 5 days and 6 nights. Room was not very clean and I never got a soap refill, I went to walgreens and got my own due to lack of attention. Hotel carpet smells really bad. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

    The hotel is unorganized. The first room assignment wasn’t turned over/made up and smelled horrible. Thankfully, the front desk quickly fixed this by giving me another room. Everyday I had to re-explain to the same very friendly but frazzled person at the front desk that no, I wasn’t checking out and had the room for the week (booked and paid through Expedia). I didn’t get credited the hospital discount rate even though this kind and friendly person pointed it out and went into the system to fix it. The credit card machine, computer and printers were out of order in the restaurant and front desk off and on the whole time. Food at the restaurant was tasty but the bartender/server was often overwhelmed by trying to serve everyone solo. Not sure what was going wrong with technology and management. Staff was so nice trying to figure things out but this is a hotel that supports guests of people stressed visiting loved ones at the hospital. The hotel added stress that was really unhelpful at a difficult time for my family.

    The desk staff was excellent. The room was very nice, and the bed was comfortable, though the spotlights over the bed did not work. The HVAC unit was excellent. There was no clock in the room, and no ports to charge a phone, so bring a charger. The bar/restaurant was a nice space, with a very simple menu. They do, however, need an additional person or two to staff it.

    We booked a king bed and they gave us two double beds instead. The front desk attendant was surly and condescendingly offered us two beers as compensation. In the room our showerhead hung out of the wall with a hole by the fixture. The hallway carpet on our floor was dirty and the lobby furniture was torn and stained. We not recommend and will definitely would not book that hotel again.

    There was on’y lukewarm water for the whole two days. I mentionned it to the reception but there was nothing they could do. The guy told me he would remove a fee for the inconvenience but he did not. When we arrived at the breakfast at 9h10, they said they could not give me oatmeal because they were closing in 20 minutes. It was packed of people still at that time but they did not care. I could not find my way to get food because it was too packed and almost nothing was left. It was definitely not a good experience and I would not recommend this place.

    The room and air conditioner smelled very moldy and musty. We couldn’t turn the air on bc it smelled so horrible. But overall it was ok. I wouldn’t stay here again but it was fine for one night. The breakfast was your typical hotel hot breakfast and fine. The shuttle to the port was $10 per person and ran 2 hours behind schedule.

    There needed to be more staff. The young man that checked us in was drowning by himself. Also we came back to the hotel late a night later that day and there was no one at the front desk.     The air conditioner in the room sounded like an old Oldsmobile trying to start up. It made this loud sound all through the night no one in my room sleep. It was horrible. The deain in the shower was slow so it took the water forever to drain, so we put a towel in shower floor to quiet the slow drain sound.     Things were okay. Cleanliness - the rooms, hallways, seemed a little damp. Not too too bad. The air conditioning was too cold and wouldn't turn off unless you unplug. Then, when we plug in, wouldn't turn on. So, a whole day and night without air conditioning. We were told "so sorry" but nothing else. I guess it's just the area is not so nice. It's sad because the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute provides so much in terms of visitors to the area. I would expect more of a hotel with the words "medical center" in the name. People go to have eye surgery and want good hotel services. Regular Extra Strength Tylenol should be stocked up. It would just make good business sense to keep that basic item in your lobby. The gym is smelly too, damp, maybe mold. Anyhow, thanks for the stay. I hope this feedback gets read and maybe used to do better.

    Quick and early check in Pool Microwave/fridge Nice enclosed patio Bar with a professional bartender Serve continental breakfast. Cons: upon entrance of lobby it smelled of mildew-musty smell. Soiled stained carpet throughout the lobby, hotel hallways and room. Gym: dank, moldy wet smell, no air circulation. No water jug when working out. Ripped/torn furniture. Bed was horrible, way over due to be changed out. It had permanent dips when all visitors have slept. 5th floor- was cleaned but did not smell the best. I sprayed Lysol and used small air fresheners I travel with. Check out -TBD This is a place for a good 1 night before a flight.

    The hotel is clean, comfortable with ample parking. We went for medical purposes and it was super close to the hospital. What makes this hotel shine is the amazing staff! From the cleaners, to the kitchen staff to the wonderful front desk people - they all were polite, friendly and accommodating. They did whatever they could to ensure that we were comfortable during our stay and we are thankful for their care and attention. If I HAD to give a critique - it would be to increase the variety of foods at breakfast - it was a little monotonous. Otherwise - an amazing hotel with wonderful value. We will absolutely recommend to any of our family or friends who need to stay in the area for business or health related issues.

    Checked in room and bed was stripped of sheets with a pile of pillows and comforter on the bed. Also not fully stocked with towels. Looked for housekeeping but none on floor.     But one of the 3 most important things I expect and require from a hotel visit you failed at. The 2 washcloths you provided was disgusting! It’s so worn and had blood stains and other stains I can’t even identify . I did not use any washcloth due to the condition and hope and pray the towel , and bed linen was cleaned between use. I don’t expect much from a hotel stay . My main is clean linen , a/c and a hot shower. Everything else is a plus. Of all things a washcloth that looks worse than a cleaning rag is unacceptable.

    Arrived to a crime scene, ambulance out front and 18-20 police cars. Took 2 hours to get checked in and to our room. My children were scared for their safety. I asked local and corporate to move us properties and they refused. They just offered to cancel me. Once in our room and settled down, a drunk man knocked on our door and woke the kids around midnight. He knocked for 30 minutes, I called the front desk 3 times and got put on hold each time for several minutes. We travel frequently all over the nation and my children have never been so nervous in any other property ever. Parking is very easy, safe, and accessible! Pool was clean but closes early!

    Overall our stay was just ok and we are not people that are hard to please. The only things to note is the parking fees and the deposit. We did have somewhat of an issue with being charged when using the restaurant credit but that error was corrected. Just be sure to check your receipt.

    The staff was nice but the hotel itself wasn’t as nice. Weird room setup, air conditioning was very inconsistent both in the room and as you walked through the sections of the hotel, from the hallway, to the elevator, to the entrance of the parking garage. For a hotel right in the city and next to a major highway soundproofing was clearly not a consideration. I was on the top floor and could hear everything from outside clearly. Glad they allow pets and I had my dog with me, taking great care to be sure he didn’t make a mess, but the hallways reeked of either mildew or peoples cats, couldn’t figure out which. This was the perfect location for going to the medical services of UM but that’s it.

    Overnight front desk staff (women wears glasses) absolutely disgusting attitude terrible service made racist remarks with another guest . Was completely embarrassed and uncomfortable. For I booked this hotel for my family to be treated weirdly. Wasn’t attentive stood behind another guest She was helping for quite some time. Completely ignored us .with them, conversing about nothing and laughing at the fact that we were waiting insinuating, racist remarks. Late at night. Never answered the phone when we called front desk from our room. Coffee machine was dirty, and broken. Microwave barely worked. Made our experience uncomfortable. I hope she improves her customer service and does not discriminate anymore. She also lied about curtains policies/fees and my bank statements did not match the price that she told me upon paying . Never have a problem paying I just don’t like to be lied about the price. It’s unprofessional and misleading. Just very unnecessary weird behavior from this individual. Overall the stay was tolerable other staff was friendly and informative when I addressed my issues and had great problem solving skills. It was just this one individual that worked overnight that just seemed that she hated her job and hate people. I will not be booking here again.

    After reading the reviews I was hesitant to stay but the location was so convenient to the stadium. But I found the hotel to be so nice! Very clean, check in was a breeze, nice bar area and the food was great! Our room was huge, bed is comfortable. Definitely will stay here again.

    Checking in took some time. One person for a lobby full of people. Breakfast was good and the staff for it was helpful. Room was musty smelling, very dimly lit, and the bathrooms are definitely in need of some attention. Better bring a flashlight as even with all the lights on in the room, you can hardly see. Several mystery stains on the carpet too. Rooms are crying for an update especially at this price. Location is not walking friendly unless you are going to the UF Hospital. Hotel does give you a 20$ credit towards the in house restaurant which is nice, but when everything costs so much it’s kind of a wash. 5$ for a small bottle of water is crazy. Overall an average hotel stay I’d expect at a Days Inn or Motel 6, but not at a Marriott Property. Beds were clean at least which is the biggest deal for me.

    The hotel was near Kaseya Center and seemed reasonably priced, but there were hidden fees at check-in as well as a $100 PER NIGHT deposit, which turned a $350 advertised rate into a charge of $625. The staff was friendly, and free breakfast was a nice perk, but I’m afraid I can’t recommend the location due to the hidden fees and high deposit.

    The bathroom and shower doors slide close but don’t lock (never seen this in a hotel before). The doors are also just frosted glass so even less privacy and the bathroom fan is barely audible. House car was nice that does close by dropoffs but only one car so availability was scarce. The shuttle from the airport wasn’t running. Good food at the restaurant and you get a $23 food and beverage credit. Construction right out front and the entranceway is a tiny lane with a wall on the left. Very difficult for larger vehicles.

    Malik was the superstar of this experience. He was so kind, accommodating and great under pressure. He was informative and even helped take our group picture. The room was adequate and i love that the bathroom is in separate space from shower. My only issues are rooms smelled weird sort of like the carpet was holding onto smells. That’s my only reason why i didn't give 5 stars.

    Here for work and yeah… great size room, but smelled like sweat. Poop particles on the toilet seat, disgustingly dirty carpet, and a semen stain on the ironing board. The smallest pool I’ve ever seen. Water provided in the room for $8 a bottle.

    The room and premises look nice but the bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way and the towel rack fell off the wall. It would have been nice to have a nightlight for the bathroom. The shower pressure was great and appreciated after a long day. The location is directly adjacent to a highway and it was noisy. Fortunately, I brought earplugs so I was able to sleep. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

    Not a good stay we had to change rooms twice and then on the third time they put us on the side of the noisiest part of the hotel facing the freeways. Absolutely horrible this hotel is really also become very run down over the years. The front desk staff tried to accommodate us the best way they could. That's a good hotel if you want to be close to the loan Depot Park however there's several other choices around and I would choose to stay elsewhere.

    Hotel was nice. However, they charged us additional fees upon checkout. Also, parking was a fee, which should be complimentary for guest. They told us we had a 23$ credit each day at the restaurant. Comes to find out it was only for a drink instead of food, which led to extra charges. (at the same restaurant). Also, I ordered a package, called to confirm prior to checking in, hotel worker said they received it. When I got there, they said the package never came.
