Nice staff. The eggs were cooked in butter which was a plus. I am allergic to soy. The bacon was cooked perfectly. I cannot eat gluten so I didn't eat anything else and cannot evaluate. There were only individual coffee "creamers" I am allergic to soy. There was no dairy-such as half and half for coffee. I am a world traveler-I have been to 37 countries. There were NO hangers and was told that guests steal them so none available. The iron sputtered water all over and the brown non stick surface was scraped. It put brown spots on my white blouse. I had to go to Walmart to purchase an iron and some hangers. I later needed the hair dryer. It would not turn on. I was told by staff that they would send "him" to my room. I waited at least half an hour and no one showed up. I then made another trip to Walmart to purchase a hairdryer. Upon return to my room, someone had removed the hair dryer from the wall and left a replacement hairdryer sitting on the sink. I assume they came back after my check out next day to bolt the replacement to the wall. This was all very stressful as I was trying to get ready to present a speech, so my personal appearance was important to me. The entire experience gave me the impression that the owner is too cheap to provide adequate things for his guests. I felt sorry for the nice staff as they most likely have to deal with dissatisfied guests on a daily basis. I would NEVER stay here again.

The room was okay. I love the staff! they are really great.

Everything was great. Very nice young lady checked me in and told me about breakfast. Room was clean and the ac & heater worked perfectly. This is a hidden gem hidden in a business area. Perfect for the single traveler and very reasonably priced.

Exactly what I needed

We went to Midland for a concert. This hotel was right down the street. We checked in very late but the front desk was very accommodating. Check out is stated on the paperwork and online to be at 12 noon but they were going around much earlier than that trying to get people to check out. That would be the only thing I could say that was disappointing.

Hotel was old and smelled old and musty. There were plenty of people around with which to smoke weed. The room was clean but was not in the best of neighborhoods. Had we known that we would not have booked a room there. It served for what we needed…close to a testing venue for the national nurse’s licensing exam.

I wasn’t sure when I initially saw hotel but room was clean and neighbors were quiet. I’d stay again. Good value.

Room was dirty. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Shower curtain was torn and had mold on it.

Reserved a king room, got a double on the 3rd floor. Elevator was broken. Was told it would take 5-7 business days to refund my money if I chose not to stay. Desk staff was rude and unhelpful.

Large dead roach. Peeling wallpaper. Musty. Limescale on showerhead. Old low toilet. Human fluids on bathroom door. Old outlets. Dingy towels. Terribly, flat pillows. The mattress and sheets qere comfortable. You get your money's worth if just need a bed to lay on.

The turn-in from a busy street into the motel is unsafe. The driveway is too narrow for two cars going in opposite directions. I was honked at from drivers behind me on the busy street, while I had to wait for the driver leaving the motel driveway to pull into the busy street (Big Spring St.) It would be very helpful for a pull-in lane to be constructed on Big Spring St. and for the existing driveway to be widened.

This hotel has been in operation for 30+ years. I and my family once stayed here on short notice while living in Midland due to a power outage at our home in 1998. It was a nice, comfortable and well-maintained property at that time. It is apparent that this property has declined significantly in maintenance and decor at present. Only one of four lamps in my room were working. Two didn't even have bulbs in them. No hot breakfast available. I will not stay here again if possible...

Stayed one night. It was exactly what I needed it to be. Cheap, close to the airport and clean! Staff was friendly!

Breakfast in the morning was great.

The lady that checked me in did not inform me of a $50 dollar charge/hold in case there was any damages after checkout. I did not find out until after she ran my card and saw the charge in my bank statement. Luckily it was returned a few days later. She wasn’t very friendly nor very informative at all. Pillows were flat as pancakes and the bed was stiff as a board. It was alright not a very pleasant experience for the price.

Our stay was great. Only problem we had was at check out. Was awaken at 1130 and told check out was 11 and looking upon our reservation it revealed a noon check out.

The place is very outdated. Room maintenance is urgent. Several items like coffee maker and microwave need to be replaced. However personnel and breakfast were outstanding.

Property was clean and staff was very helpful and courteous. Only issue was a malfunctioning toilet and we managed to adjust. City was replacing the street in front but otherwise was easy to park

The place is run down lots of electrical problems. The tv wasn’t working very well. Not worth the price or the good ratings it has.

I have been staying here for over a year on business trips....the rooms are nice but it's really annoying every ice machine is broken and hasn't been fixed for over a year...they don't even care. And don't try

Good thing is it does have an elevator but the room was dirty . The lamp was unplugged went to plug it in and the cors was oily room smelled like someone was frying something in it.

Many mosquitos in room and toilet was not clean flush didn’t work. If youre looking just sleeping place that’s ok.

The stay was good. The hotel is old, but clean. Water pressure not to good. Breakfast wasn’t to good, but for the price a would give it 7.5.

The staff was very friendly, the room was nice except for having blonde hair strands dangling from a hanger and the carpet feeling sticky. (Bringing flip flops is a must) The outdoor surroundings look run down, but for the price could look past. Overall, I would stay here again. Just keep in mind this is an older inn!

Got in at a bit past 2 am and knowing I wasn't going to make it by the 11 pm check in, I contacted the property and they told me they would check us in without any issues. Got here and was greeted with a friendly smile and prompt service. We stopped here just for a night's sleep but the room was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. All appliances working properly and it was clean.

Front desk heavy set female with dark long hair, drives a red car, used a key card to open my room door trying to gain entry. I am thankful that the hangar bar was in place as she was only able to look in enough to see me being busy with my guest on the bed.

I liked the communication we were able to have with the desk clerk about checking in late and having everything ready and available for us for when we did arrive.

Property needs updating but otherwise it was great.

The staff are all amazing and interesting (unlike the cookie cutter clones that some hotels seem to collect). The rooms are nice size, bathroom is either a walk-in shower or tub. The breakfast is also pretty good, certain days of the week there is home-cooked hot food, the rest of the week has a good selection of pastries, self-made waffles, milk, juice, coffee, etc... My only real issue (and, for me, it's a big one) is that the WiFi is bad to useless depending on what room you end up staying in. Even if you happen to get a good signal, the network behind the WiFi was poorly designed and only half functions. All the staff as well as the owner are aware of this issue. For whatever reason, the owner is standing by some local tech who is obviously unable to support the hotel and because of that, just pray your hotspot/cell have a strong signal.

It could have been cleaner. The tub was very slippery.

The hotel’s pet policy is deceptive. It is listed on Expedia as pet friendly. When arriving I was told the fee for dogs is $75 for small pet and $100 for large pet. The hotel would not refund my reservation from Expedia so I had little choice to spend too much money to stay in a dirty hotel. A pet could not do damage to the 60-year old dirty carpets in the rooms.

Room and service were as expected, good service clean room. The grounds are deceiving not as manicured and well kept as inside but well lighted. While I was there, I was out all day and coming back late to my room, always felt secure and safe.

They need to make sure the ice machines work...I stayed for 4 nights and all floors had zero ice......also the cable needs to be updated. The channels make no sense and have no guide. Like living in 1990. Haha.

The pictures of this property did not show that the rooms have doors to the outside. I wanted a hotel with doors off an interior hallway. When I checked in, I asked if there were rooms with interior doors and the employee told me that she did not understand what I was asking and all rooms had doors to the outside.

Excellent value and amenities for this value priced inn. The staff was extremely friendly and curteous. Will stay here again in ever in Midland / Odessa

The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The grounds need a bit of attention. There was trash all over and it looked unsightly.

This is a hidden GEM. Lovely rooms, clean, good room rate and very nice staff. Very comfy beds.

It’s an old property. The room had a bad smell. No hot water at any time so we had to shower with cold water. Breakfast was included but the milk was rotten, bagels were hard, the old microwave didn’t smell good either.

Random charges they were unable to help figure out what it was for. Room was supposed to be charged to company card, they asked for a personal card for accidentals, then charged the room to my personal card instead of company card. Walls are so thin, can hear everything outside and in other rooms.

This is an older hotel and hasn’t been updated but it was clean and had a fresh smell. They were out of regular coffee for the rooms.

The first room I went into smellled terrible upon entering. I found that the carpet was wet near the entrance to the bathroom. Two rooms down, apparent long term residents were loitering outside and there was a bar bq grill sitting under the stairs. After moving from the 1st to the 3rd floor my initial impression was not good when I first walked in. The smell was not as bad, but it was still apparent. There was dust standing on the clothing hangers, the lamp shades were not attached with the top portion and kept falling off, dirt was standing 1/2 " thick on the windowsill, the curtains were stained and did not attach completely to the rod (so it hung open), the sink and toilet were stained, and most concerning - the top lock latch was had been removed and the door moved easily in and out even when the deadbolt was engaged.

The staff was great, the beds were fine and comfortable, but the bathroom door had a kick hole in it and severe water damage, the hinges were all rusted out and the door wouldn’t open all the way due to damage. No stopper in the bathroom sink. The bathtub shower floor was sloped on the sides toward the middle which made it hard to balance. Dangerous and slippery! The building needs maintenance, upkeep, and updates. Good price.

Clean and comfortable - highly recommended with a fair price.

Because I was a female traveling alone, the clerk gave me an inside room for added security. It was a nice feature that I would not have even thought to ask for.

The saving grace is the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was absolutely filthy. I took pics that would disgust anyone. Rooms heater hanging off the wall with rhe cold pouring in, filthy refrigerator, phone, microwave. Food crumbs everywhere. They sad they disinfect and sanitize...but that was NOT happening. Lots of workers staying there.

I had to check out three hours later after I checked in, I couldn't stay, I am allergic to dust I reported this issue few after I checked out

Overall it was a nice stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean. Toilet ran constantly though and the door stuck everytime we closed it. The outside could use some freshening up. Starting to look rundown but overall a good stay.
