Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Midway - Tallahassee West

Kind of a remote location off the Interstate with not many amenities within walking distance. Great staff, especially the day shift attendant who suggested a great place for lunch. Basic room for the price.

The floors in our room hadn’t been mopped in awhile. I don’t know how long that hotel has been open but it needs a lot more landscaping and the window treatments leave a lot to be desired. That being said, an overall clean and convenient stop for us.

OK stay. Shower needs cleaning it was moldy. Bed was good and clean. Staff was really nice.

Breakfast was a good selection Room was nasty, white hair that looked like dog hair all on the floors, in the small desk chair, pillow and bed had dirt on the sheet on one side. Was to tired to complain. When check in lady didn't add a 3rd night to the booking.

Nothing Extremely unsafe; drugs being used on the property; prostitution outside of hotel; yelling at guests from the locals; we never stayed in the room due to the terrible situation; we wasted our money on this dump. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Comfortable bed and pillows, fair price, decent breakfast compared to similar motels. The room was clean (at least, it looked clean), but the smell of mold / mildew was unbearable and we couldn't stay in the room more than a few minutes, let alone get a good night's sleep. The room had a window, but it couldn't be opened, so it was always damp and we had to keep the aircon on all the time, but it didn't help much and even the smell coming from the aircon was terrible, especially overnight and in the morning. Whatever advantages this motel has (comfortable bed, good price, decent breakfast etc), it all goes through the window (if you could open it!) because of this issue. The carpet and the floors around the hotel could and should be cleaner.

I did not have a shower curtain. I had to call several times to get a shower curtain. Finally got one late evening of the 2nd day of my stay. Was told breakfast end at 10 am. Got to breakfast at 915 and was told breakfast ends at 9. Front desk said no one told me 10 am and ro look at the sign. Sign is not visible unless you are told to look almost at the ceiling. Sign say 6 to 9 Monday to Friday. I told her the sig. Says Monday to Friday and waa told she didn't put up rhe Sign. And as long as she knows its always 6 to 9

Very clean facility. Everyone was friendly. It’s in a remote area with construction. Not much around but it’s very quiet and a good place to recharge before hitting the road!

Toilet bowl needed a lil more attention under seat inside bowl

Check in was easy, rooms were nice, parking is ample. Breakfast was interesting. The bacon was barely cooked and the eggs were over cooked. The waffle was the saving grace. Also why have shampoo and conditioner but no body wash?

Needs updated unable to take a shower because the water smelled like sewer.

The breakfast was a hot one. Check in was easy, the bed was comfortable. The place seemed newer. The shower pressure was great. You can tell that upkeep and maintenance is going to be a problem, the floors are already started to warp, the hinges on the bathroom door are rusting. The door to enter the hotel at the side you didn't need to use a key it just opened.... Security concerns there. The area is a little sketchy with a liquor store near by.

The breakfast was on par with Holiday Inn and express I felt this hotel to be a pig with lipstick on it.. meaning it's an old rundown building that they are trying to improve.. it's simply not worth what I paid for the night but I wasn't full of options as it was late

OK, at 1:30 in the morning, there was a fight that broke out next-door to our room sounded like somebody was being thrown against the wall and then they had the lady outside of our door beating her up and screaming,

It was okay, not exactly a scenic area. It was a place to sleep for a night.

The bed and bathroom were clean. The AC was falling apart and had a lot of dirt and other stuff in the vent and it was blowing it out onto the floor. This AC would not of passed a safety code inspection. Also you could hear everything outside, everything in the hall and the elevator was so loud it was like someone was slamming metal down all night long.

The bathroom was half cleaned had to use the towels that were in the bathroom to clean it and request new ones.

Quiet and spacious. It was clean. Beds were comfortable and everything worked properly. Rooms were nice a dark for sleeping if desired. Breakfast was good and had a lot of choices but missing little things and quality was short of excellent. Still very enjoyable! Felt safe. Location was a little odd. easy to get to.

Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean. The bathroom steamed up terribly after shower and vent was a loud high pitched whistle that didn't work.

Was in town for a soccer tournament. Ms Linda and Ms Traci were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot. Room was clean. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was great! Room was in need of better cleaning and some maintenance. Floor tiles were lifting. Floors also were dirty, needed mopping, my feet were dirty on the bottom after walking on the floor with my socks off.

The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly, however, the shower did not get hot and there was no soap. Also, the breakfast was not good at all. They attempted to make a quality hotel breakfast and just failed.

To start with they would not accept my reservation because it had not come through yet and told me it would not come through until morning. Therefore, I had to pay for the room on my credit card at the front desk.. they would not refund me the next morning when they received the reservation. The place was OK not a rat hole but nothing fancy at all.

Room was filthy, with roaches at night, musty with strong odor, conditions unacceptable, breakfast inedible. Paid for two nights but had to leave after one. Unsafe area with a liquor store next door and very loud music outside late in the night. Other guests were very loud on the floor as well doing late hours. My daughter and I were very scared to stay there. We would like to get a refund. Please feel free to contact.

Got in after 1:00 am and was given a room that was “owned” I was later told. Went down to the front desk and couldn’t find anyone for over 10 minutes. Had to call to get help to get my children into a room. Then the room I was moved to (which the whole process took about another 20 minutes) the beds were made of sheet metal and every time you moved it sounded awful! And there was not enough towels in the room. Staff was friendly. Coffee creamer was powder. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel!

Staff was friendly and professional. Always a pleasure staying here. My only dissatisfaction was the blankets were super thin. But I do travel with my own normally but not this trip.

Perfect place to stay for a football game

The room was clean and beds comfortable.

The room itself was OK. The problem was the cost. Almost $300 a night for a room that should cost, for the location and niceness, 1/3 of that.

The room smelled horrible, the front desk was rude at check in, we killed 10 bugs (German Roach and some other weird bug), they did not give us clean towels on day 2, and top to it off housekeeping was so loud talking in the hallway it woke up or kid. We will never stay there again.

Location, out in an industrial remote area next to a sketchy bar/liquor store that was full of cars. We ended not staying there as my husband did not feel safe.

Bathtub was not cleaned properly, the LVP on the floor was coming up, area outside was not very clean. Walls are thin. Not what I expected for a Country Inn and Suites.

It was okay. 50/50 if we would stay again. Apoeared they were in the middle of some renovations. Our initial room had construction tools still inside. Our second roomhad a weird smell. We think it was the bedding. Need to upgrade the AC unit. The staff were very nice and helpful. The dinner recommendation of Lindy's Chicken was incredible.

Staff very nice, room very clean

The hotel was not as nice as some reviews made it sound. We found several roaches in our bathroom. There was an old macaroni noodle stuck to the bed skirt. Breakfast was okay, but the fake eggs were nasty. The people were nice. We will not be staying here again.

Great value hotel while attending a football game in Tallahassee. It was quiet and the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, and the besds were not bad. The only negative is when you turn the lights on when the room is dark, just be ready to kill a few small roaches. They weren’t big, but they were around.

It was a decent place for our last minute stay. It was conveniently located close to highway. It wasn’t worth the cost, but there was a football game in town so every hotel charged higher rates. It was clean and comfortable. Late night staff was super friendly, but early morning desk staff had little to say- staring at computer screens.

Extremely unhappy with our room. There was a repulsive musty odor. We complained to management and were told there were no other rooms. Their solution: here is a bottle of air freshener. That’s the best we could do. Several insects/spiders in the bathroom. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.

this place had roaches shower didnt wrk. its location gives truck stop. the only reason i scored a little high on customer service because they immediately gave me a refund. i checked in at 830pm and check out 9pm and found somewhere else to stay that night.

The staff was very conscientious. They cleaned well and were available to do any requests made. The space was generous and comfortable. The morning breakfast was ready on time. There was no noise. It was a great place from which to work.

The room was a disaster! musty smell, tub fauset leaking, toilet overflowed, water all over bedroom, no maintence or housekeeping on duty, front desk gave a plunger no clean up, no microwave. I had to argue to get room changed! I have pics. fleabag hotel with untrainned staff. it should be from Radison list immeadiately!!!!

Linda at check-in is great. Room was good. Breakfast was good except several things ran out and were not refilled very quickly. That caused more people waiting which made it even busier. Linda came to help the other lady refill the food or it would have been worse.

Ms. Linda made the stay so much better. She’s so kind and will help you with everything you need to know.

We were quite disappointed in this hotel. The surrounding area is quite run down. The pool is tiny and not well maintained. The staff was not friendly and didn’t seem to put any effort into their jobs. We saw cockroaches in the bathroom at night, the AC was incredibly noisy, the coffee maker had dirty coffee and filter, there was no place to plug in the phone, and no tissues in the tissue holder. Also, when we tried to use the microwave, it made a terrible noise and filled the room with smoke. Also, no handles in the shower. Would not recommend.

Hotel could use a face lift!

The staff was amazing and granted all of my requests, even going to the restaurant next door for ketchup which was very much appreciated. The room was clean and spacious. Everything in the room seemed fairly new and well kept. There was a liquor store outside with people congregating so I didn’t leave the hotel at night but overall, I had a great stay and would return in the future.

The front staff were excellent, polite and very informative. The king-sized bed was comfortable but made a terrible sound (like a drum) every time you got on or off the bed. The power outlets in the bathroom did not work. The floors seemed dusty/dirty.

Stopped late to get off road. Clean great ac good value for money. The only downside we were at back of hotel and kept hearing loud banging noise. We got in late so this was after 12 at night

It was fine for 1 night on the road, but not a long term hotel to stay at. The rooms were just damp. The bedding all felt damp due to the room.

Food remains along corridor floor and on chair in room. Threadbare and tiny towels and only two towels for a four person booking. Childs toy in the bed. Not a great experience unfortunately. Nice breakfast and staff though.

The laminate flooring in the room was so much cleaner than hotels that had carpeting. The sofa bed was as per expected with all sofa beds—well, serviceable but probably better for little kids. The king bed was very comfortable. I really like the full size use of permanently installed shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Very comfortable stay. Only suggestion to the property: NEED LIGHTS AT DRIVEWAY OFF MAIN ROAD.

Our car broke down in Midway Fl. I booked this room with no idea where we were at. Theo the front desk clerk was so nice and helpful. He even offered to help us get to car to retrieve our stuff if necessary. We were grateful to find a place affordable and comfortable. They offer buffet breakfast, have a small but clean pool, and an outdoor area with tables and patio furniture

I arrived at 9 pm and my suite had been given away and we had to get a double. But the staff the next day fixed my reservation and were very welcoming and apologetic.

We were headed to Lakeland Florida for vacation and our car broke down leaving us stranded. The staff is so helpful and polite

Housekeeping staff did not want to give extra towels. Very rude

Room was comfortable and clean, but absolutely ATROCIOUS service. It was necessary to ask for towels, toilet paper, tissues and coffee packets. There is a small note on the bedside table that says rooms are cleaned every three days, but that service can be requested. Although service was requested on a number of times, none was ever provided. It was actually necessary for me to take the overflowing wastebaskets and empty them myself. In addition, the toilet seat was missing one lock-down bolt and very wobbly. This was never repaired during our stay although requested by us.

The desk clerk was very nice he greeted my family after he realized I book the wrong room he upgraded our room right away. The hotel was clean however you tell it’s older hotel that had been renovated the room but I will recommend this hotel all staff was very pleasant!!!

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t anything special. Only powdered cream for the coffee, so did not enjoy. Exercise room was not clean. No towels, no water cups, and most importantly, no cleaning wipes. Check in attendant was very nice, gave good advice on where to eat

When we arrived, the linens were dirty, which is completely unacceptable. Additionally, when I requested extra towels, I was only given pool towels because I didn’t return the old ones to the front desk. To top it off, the power went out for an hour and a half, which made our stay miserable. I had to leave with my family, only to find the power restored upon our return. This hotel is beyond bad; it’s terrible. Considering how pricey it is, the quality simply does not match. I suggest looking for a better option elsewhere!

Front desk staff was very good and helpful with resolving a problem we had with our booking, which was something that was not their fault, but the fault of the travel site we used to do the booking. Anyway, the lady was very understanding. Our room was ok, but the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned. The sink counter and the faucet were both a little dirty, and the bathtub was also not as clean as you would expect! Also, the TV remote didn’t work right (could not change channels) and they couldn’t give us another one, so we just didn’t watch any TV.

Hotel stay overall was nice..spacious rooms, clean..initially the room had a roach spray smell but went away after a while ..condition of the room is a bit outdated not the same luxury feel of the same brand hotel elsewhere. Breakfast area was nice and food spread adequate..cleaning staff eager to clean ,by opening my door before checkout but were polite .Also front desk staff were polite..exercise room had a nice universal weight machine and treadmill..checked in after 2am with 3 rooms and staff was accomodating, no issues.

My go to when pn business in the area.

The mini-fridge and microwave in the room was clean, and very helpful! We were able to keep our leftover dinner and reheat it the next day. The desk and mini-table made two separate spots for meals and work time. Overall, yes, I'd definitely stay there again.

The property is very very dated and needs a major update on everything.

The hotel was ok for the price and only for a short trip. The only things I didn’t like was that it was near a liquor store, you could hear loud hotel quests and the shower didn’t work even though it had a shower head. I would probably stay somewhere else next time.
