Excellent stay from check in to check out
- 1/5
Shower tub was greasy with hair as well, not even the Shower water drain works properly. Will never stay on that place again.
- 5/5
The check-in was easy. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and smelled great. The breakfast was 9k. All in all.a grewt experience.
- 2/5
Loud at night from highway. AC barely worked. Continued to run but didn’t cool room.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean. A little out of date but for this price the room was clean and did the job
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. It was close to restaurants.

The front desk receptionist was nice and pleasant upon check in. The room was not so nice... The tub was peeling and rusting
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast area was cleaned, with the exception of people making mess and not cleaning behind themselves. The place wasn't really to bad maybe just old. Rust was in the tub, makes it looks dirty. We killed one roach.
- 5/5
The area outside the place was clean and the room was as well. The beds were comfortable and the TV and AC worked well. Despite being in front of the pool area, there was hardly any noises in the day and in the evening. I want to thank Ms. Katrina, the employee who greeted us at the front desk, because she was helpful in us settling in and she gave us thorough instructions as to where to go eat based on our preferences. She was very professional and knowledgeable of the area (we had fun exploring). I do recommend staying here and look forward to staying there in my future travels to Mt. Pleasant.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 3/5
The front desk clerk was very pleasant and thoughtful and helpful. The cleaning staff was very pleasant. The room was ok, not great, but not bad. Everything was in working order and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The AC was really good. The water never got cool, much less cold. The refrigerator wasn't very cold, and didn't seem to have any way to adjust it.
- 5/5
Worth the money, it was a great stay
- 2.5/5
Comfy beds Getting into our room was frustrating. Key card had to be reprogrammed in the office every single time we left and came back. Pool opens late at 10 am.
- 4/5
I thought the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I thought they should serve breakfast until 10. I would stay again.

It’s a great location to everything. We went to downtown Charleston, sullivans island, Folly beach and Isle of palms easily. Air conditioner worked amazing and it was a clean room! Pool was pretty clean and accessible, my four year old loved swimming everyday! Breakfast was good and easy to self serve! Only had cable television but didn’t watch it much so it didn’t matter to me too much!

Good housekeeping service. Friendly staff and management and a good breakfast! None
- 3/5
Is clean and convenient Front desk staff is not to friendly plus breakfast lobby saids is open at 6:00am but theirs time they let you wait 10 minutes outside lobby. 6:10 am also they bill your credit card for a deposit that is not returned
- 3/5
Clean and convenient Front desk staff not friendly at all they charge a deposit even though you’re using credit cards that’s no refund
- 5/5
Good breakfast, clean bedding, and a clean pool. The door in room 245 was hard to close and required extra effort.
- 4/5
Our only surprise was that the setting reminds us more a Motel than a hotel, where you park almost in front of your room door and gain access to the room straight from the parking, instead of a central entrance with locked doors. Maybe we just didn't read the description well.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Excellent location for Charleston, Fort Moultrie and Fort Sumpter. Sullivan Island, too. Great hot breakfast with eggs, sausages, biscuits etc. Good value for area. Would stay again.

- 5/5
Good breakfast, several options.
- 3/5
The beds were pretty comfortable and the breakfast was great. However, there were alot of things I was not impressed with. The shower felt like it had a hole in it. It was covered by a tub linner I guess but it felt like you were going to fall through. The toilet ran on and off all day. Very annoying when trying to sleep. The fridge had something all over it. It was pretty disgusting to look at. The room smelt musky every time you walked in. The TV had this line through it. Almost like it was cracked because it was on every channel. But the most disappointing part of our stay was the pool. It was green and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Which deterred me or my family from getting in it. Very very disappointing. We stayed here because it had such great reviews but I wouldn't stay here again. Which is a shame because the price was great but I guess you get what you pay for.
- 3/5
It was just ok .
- 1/5
We were disappointed with the whole experience, If not for your customer service
- 1/5
Traveled across the country solo to stay here because of the praises of it being an excellent solo location. I arrived and was not allowed to check in due to a 25 year old age restriction and was then charged anyway the full amount. No notices were given online for the restriction either.
- 4/5
Ac could use some work only negative
- 5/5
Location was great! Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.
- 1/5
Never will book again
- 2/5
Lady at check on was kind of rude. Bathtub was rusted through around the bottom. No cold water in the sink. Towel rack at sink held together with toilet paper. Beds and pillows were not comfortable
- 5/5
Pool was fun, staff was friendly, and it was a great location to still enjoy Charleston despite not being directly in the city. Cool restaurants nearby too!
- 3/5
wasn’t open . Place needs painting and a major update . Room was clean and not so bad .
- 4/5
TV reception was spotty.
- 3/5
The breakfast and pool were great. Room was on the dirtier side.
- 3/5
Friendly staff and very good location, but overall room condition and cleanliness was not very high quality. Bathroom and furniture was in poor condition and there were at least 3 bugs found throughout my stay.
- 4/5
The breakfast was great! The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay! Our door had a lot of issues unlocking/locking and late one evening the card stopped working all together but the front desk attendant was able to resolve the issue quickly for us!
- 5/5
Breakfast was exceptional, with a great location just a few miles from the College of Charleston. The staff was friendly and professional.
- 1/5
I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but these rooms were filthy. I lifted up the mattress and it was disgusting. Every corner of the room and bathroom were dirty.
- 2/5
This hotel is way overpriced for basically a motel 6 or super 8. Front desk lady was extremely rude.
- 3/5
Motel setup somewhat clean carpet was a bit damp
- 2/5
Room seemed clean enough but there was such a musty smell. Carpet definitely needed changing out.
- 1/5
Room was awful.
- 4/5
Excellent value for location. Close to beaches and restaurants. Travel into downtown Charleston is wonderfully quick and easy. Breakfast above-average. Quiet. Very pleased with our choice of this locaiton.
- 5/5
All good! Worth the money, good location
- 3/5
The rooms could really do to be re-done. The bathroom was falling apart. The rest of the room was clean enough, but could be better.
- 2/5
Expedia got this rating wrong. This is at best a two star hotel. The hotel rooms were in rough shape and the property was in disrepair. It was not that clean. Staff wasn’t friendly. It was in a good central location
- 5/5
Our second stay while visiting mount pleasant. Very convenient to all of the attractions in the area extremely affordable compared to other hotels plus the breakfast is great!
- 3/5
The only complaint was we had issues with the tub it needs replaced. They tried to repair a crack in the tub and it was not a great repair job. The tub needs to have a new one put in place. The toilet had a small leak.
- 3/5
Typical wear and tear at chains such as Quality Inn but what was annoying was not being able to control the temperature of the water from the faucet for the sink. It was warm or hot but never cool or cold. The faucet for the bath tub was the same. Breakfast was nothing special.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
That was the nicest cheapest place I have ever stayed at. It was close to everything you could want to do downtown.
- 5/5
Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. This was just a quick overnight after the Brandon Lake concert but nothing at all to complain about.
- 5/5
The breakfest was really good.
- 1/5
The bathtub was collapsed and they tried to cover it up with non slip mats glued to it.
- 5/5
Good breakfast, nice staff, rooms, very clean
- 4/5
Breakfest area was packed and overcrowded.
- 5/5
Older motel but great stay. Clean and dining on property was good and convenient. Very close to park.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. They had a wide variety of hot and cold for breakfast. The front desk ladies were super patient and friendly. Even when one guest wanted a refund because the water in her toilet was too hot! Thanks for a great stay
- 4/5
Decent location
- 5/5
Very good location, good breakfast, friendly staff
- 5/5
Good all around
- 4/5
The room was fairly clean. The top edge of the shower hadn't been wiped down in quite a while. The breakfast was good, just really overcrowded and hard to navigate through the stations. Our highlight was at checkin. The front desk ataff was super nice and gave us a great restaurant recommendation.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a good selection at breakfast. They did run out of bottled water two days into our stay.
- 5/5
Great Breakfast & Clean room
- 3/5
Conveniently located.
- 1/5
This hotel really needs to be upgraded/maintained. There was a hole in the bottom of our shower that was covered with an old rubber bath mat. The showerhead pulled out of the wall. Cracks in the walls and carpet peeling off the corners of the walls. Would not recommend staying here.
- 5/5
The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the staff was great.
- 1/5
There was a problem with the toilet the water was running constantly and was very warm! The noise was bad
- 2/5
Bathroom area was dirty, cobwebs in multiple places. We notified check in staff we would be late due to flight delays. They acted put out and stand offish when we did arrive.
- 4/5
Staff were great. Breakfast is decent, but offerings diminished on some days. Property shows its age a bit (phone didn't work, some drawers didn't close), but the staff kept things clean.
- 4/5
The location is great. It was a ~$10 Lyft into Charleston and ~$35 from the airport & Magnolia. Our room was clean & the bed was comfortable enough. Safe area The breakfast was pretty good and the area kept clean - bacon, sausage, potatoes, eggs, waffles, and the usual cold stuff. The less great: The room is dated and run down. The paint on the ceiling was peeling and falling onto the bed. There was a group of workers who would hang out in front of their rooms and they were a bit loud, though they wrapped it up by 9pm. Based on other reviews, I would assume this is a regular occurrence. Our neighbor was very loud. Yelling and loud until midnight. (Note, he was not part of the workers that sat outside) I think the walls are thin. The breakfast ended at 9am on weekdays, which felt early to us. It ended at 930 on weekends, which caused us to miss breakfast on Monday. The soda machine was empty, so I couldn’t get a drink and the closest gas station is almost a half-mile away. I paid a little less than $150/night, so I feel it was worth that price. Whether I stay again will depend entirely on the price.
- 4/5
Location to the city of Charleston.
- 1/5
Reservation was cancelled on me without warning and was forced to then pay for another room elsewhere. Staff was extremely rude and unapologetic
- 3/5
The hotel needs to be renovated badly. The bathroom is small and the valve for the shower didn't work well. The TV stations were not great. The card for the door didn't work several times and we needed to go to the front desk to fix it.
- 5/5
Place was clean, nice size room. We had difficulty finding the place, but with one phone call, Faith helped us quickly locate the property. Easy, friendly checkin and nice location for Lyft pick up.
- 3/5
Enough for one night, well located and good breakfast
- 2/5
Our door key not working , had it replaced twice. The door was hard to open. The air conditioner made a rattling noise all the time. Seating area in breakfast area too small not enough tables for everyone. Buffet over too early. 9:30 am on the weekend. Front day check in person 4/17 not friendly
- 5/5
I will check this propery next time.
- 5/5
Good overall experience!
- 2/5
I got literally locked in the bathroom. My son had to go get a worker to come let me out. The doorknob and lock were broken. The water took an extremely long time to drain in the shower and would fill up during shower.
- 2/5
I booked king bed room.Instead I got 2 queen beds.went to front desk they were fully booked and could not give me the room I booked.I am not sure if it was Expedia fault or hotels.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful! Katrina at the front desk was fantastic. She was friendly & informative, a very nice lady. Also appreciated the lemonade & cookies!
- 3/5
Cleaning staff was friendly; parking was fine; location was quiet and good for attending wedding at Gold Bug Destination.
- 5/5
Great value!
- 5/5
Good, clean, safe, and near restaurants. We will be back!
- 4/5
The room was clean. They offered a hot breakfast in addition to normal continental breakfast items. I was surprised to see that all rooms had exterior hallways.
- 4/5
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re visiting for business or a getaway, this is a great choice. I would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Also good selection of items for breakfast and staff was attentive when food items were running low
- 5/5
If you’re looking for a pristine, 5 star hotel, this is not it. The hotel is a bit dated, but very clean with great staff. Located just off the bridge into downtown Charleston and near many other attractions in the My Pleasant area with free and convenient parking. Great breakfast, tons of variety to start the day. Also has 2 large parks less than a minute down the road with a great pier for sightseeing. Staff is very kind and accommodating, overall a great value!
- 4/5
Simple Five night stay - clean - friendly staff - quite a bit of variety for breakfast - not fancy but worked for our stay
- 1/5
Heat/AC unit in our room was broken.
- 3/5
Bed and pillows uncomfortable
- 1/5
This was maybe the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't recommend it.
- 5/5
Clean room. Really close to downtown
- 4/5
Never made breakfast and didn't have a car
- 4/5
Fine
- 4/5
Nothing spectacular. Staff was kind, room was clean. Certainly nothing fancy but worth what we paid
- 3/5
I was disappointed based off pictures of the room from website to the actual room condition. But it was clean.
- 5/5
Everything went well
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great location, friendly staff. Shower pressure was perfect & the beds were comfy.
- 4/5
Katrina checking us in was awesome! When she heard we had somewhere to be she got us in a room so we could get ready.
- 4/5
Clean and safe area
- 4/5
People were very nice, rooms could use sone updating, breakfast girl was a hard worker
- 4/5
.
- 3/5
The furniture in the room was a little rough, scraped and scratched, and our sheets were seemingly clean but stained. The front desk staff when we checked in was very sweet, friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
The room was dirty, the toilet clogged, there was standing water in the shower. In addition, our key card needed to be refreshed by staff after every use.
- 3/5
The staff was fabulous and the cleanliness was as well.
- 2/5
When we arrived the shower had no not water. We went out for the evening and the manager said they would fix it while we were out. When we returned they had not even attempted to fix the shower. Finally, the maintenance person told the manager to tell us to set the shower valve halfway between hot and cold. This produced warm, but not hot water. The next day our keys cards would not work. The manager re-programmed them and they still would not work. They had to let us into our room with a key. The next day the keys failed to work. I asked for a different room, but the manager told us they were fully booked, which did not seem accurate as on our many trips to the office we noticed at least half a dozen rooms with the curtains open and no occupants. We made it through the weekend with our original room, but remain very unsatisified. The management acted like they could care less as to our issues. Will never stay in a Quality Inn again.
- 5/5
Really great staff and location
- 3/5
I did not use it
- 5/5
The staff went above and beyond. They were able to help us with our bags and familiarizing us with the area. They were very personable.
- 5/5
Clean room and staff was very friendly!
- 4/5
The staff is absolutely amazing! I would rate them 10! Room was nice, but the bathroom toilet and tub definitely need some attention. The toilet moved when you sat down on it, and was a super short toilet. The tub is peeling pretty bad. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very nice, with lots of options.
- 5/5
our stay was great! Breakfast was excellent. would stay again if in the area.
- 5/5
Nice quiet place to stay close to all the attractions of Charleston
- 5/5
Big shout out to Faith & Katrina, front desk extraordinaires! Property was in great location, staff was outstanding, quiet, great room, all the things!
- 1/5
I was disappointed
- 3/5
The hotel was located over the bridge at Mt. Pleasant, but not far from Charleston. It was also close to Fort Sumter tours and beaches. There was breakfast provided with your stay and no fee for parking. The rooms/hotel overall needed an update as there were rust and also musty smell in the rooms and bathroom, The bedding can also use an upgrade. Our flight left early and the lobby was not open so we just left our keys inside our room. If you’re on a budget, then this hotel would work.
- 4/5
HVAC unit was finicky, could not get a consistent temperature, either too warm or too cool. Leaky door jamb with no weatherstripping did help, very drafty.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
This is an older property so dont expect brand new BUT, do expect clean, well maintained and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Easy trip to Charleston. Good food in Shems creek.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Close to downtown Charleston
- 5/5
Outstanding
- 5/5
Very nice staff and overall good value
- 5/5
Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are clean and large. Bed quite comfortable. Breakfast is great. A nice place to spend a few days. This is my second visit and I will be back.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Wonderful. Clean room. Nice area. Close to everything
- 3/5
I was not immediately greeted by the desk staff who was only sorting door cards. The room was clean but pillows were very uncomfortable. I slept poorly. Breakfast was not served until 6:30 but I needed to leave for an appointment at 6:15. The lobby doors were locked so I couldn’t get an extra cup of coffee either.
- 5/5
Everything. A great motel!! I want to buy one of their pillows. They are to die for! Bed, shower Continental breakfast were ALL GREAT.
- 4/5
Customer service was a plus!
- 3/5
The room was a disappointment. The carpet was frayed at the edges. The finish on the tub was peeling. It was evident the walls had sustained some kind of damage and were poorly patched and painted. The door latch would hardly catch (the poor door had taken a literal beating!). While the insulation between floors and rooms was actually very good (very little noise disturbance from neighbors), the insulation at the front of the room (around door and window) was non-existent. We could easily hear traffic and people talking in the parking lot. Overall, not a great place to stay. Upgrades are needed all over the property and within rooms.
- 3/5
Terrific breakfast with very attentive breakfast staff! Rooms are pretty old and not that comfortable.
- 3/5
ok
- 4/5
The corridor paint was peeling. We had to change rooms as the lock was inoperable. The room was a bit tired and could have done with some renovation work. The bed was fine. Reception lady Brittany very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast ok but plastic cutlery a bit off putting.
- 5/5
Friendly front desk staff when we check in on 2/14/26
- 3/5
Room interior, especially the bath was outdated. Reminded us to Motel style. No USB connectors in the room. For $200 the night it was overpriced!!!
- 4/5
Our stay was very nice, although we do wish the bathroom a bit more clean.
- 4/5
Nothing stood out, an average hotel atay
- 5/5
Cleanand comfortable.
- 5/5
The Cleanest Quality Inn I've EVER stayed at and the BEST and most friendliest Staff. Exceptional Customer Service and Fantastic House Keeping!!! Will always stay here when in Mount Pleasant, SC.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good, with nice eggs, but it was a shame it finished at 9.00am on weekdays - sometimes people like to lie-in on their holiday! The customer service from Katrina and Swantelle was very good, but one of the other receptionists was a bit abrupt. It was lovely to chat with you Katrina! This hotel is in a very safe area, with nice walks nearby. I recommend going to old Mt Pleasant village and the pier under the bridge (which is spectacular), as well as visiting Charleston etc. I highly recommend this hotel.

- 3/5
it was okay.
- 5/5
Staff were so nice at the desk. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.
- 3/5
Be sure to take a shower before 8am! I would have given them a 5 STAR but a hot shower should be part of the total package after 12 hours of driving and / or waking up and getting a fresh start to your day! Be sure to ask if they have the hot water problem addressed.
- 2/5
The tubs were cracked and peeling. Workmen had their trucks loudly runningvery early in the morning. Our drapes were ripped and just hanging.
- 5/5
Clean room staff was the best
- 3/5
It is what it is. They are decent for the price you pay. I was rather disappointed with the city itself. There wasn’t much to do. Really wanted to go to the magnolia plantation but somehow I couldn’t make it work.
- 5/5
Our room was clean and stocked. the lady working the front lobby was polite and respectful and greeted us upon our arrival. Breakfast was supper!
- 4/5
We inly stayed one night room was clean and location was very good.
- 4/5
Clean room and courteous staff.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice/helpful
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
My daughter and I do a yearly trip to Charleston and this is always our go-to place to stay. It’s clean, the location is perfect, the breakfast is great and for all that it’s quite a bargain.
- 5/5
Yes everything was good and very clean
- 5/5
Awesome
- 1/5
The reception was rude. The room was not comfortable. I don’t suggest here. I just canceled my second day of staying there.

- 4/5
The room was comfortable
- 5/5
It was clear and the staff was very pleased
- 4/5
Good location just off the Bridge.
- 5/5
I quiet, clean, nice amenities(pool, gym, free breakfast, easy parking, great location). I have stayed here several times over the last few months and have been very happy.
- 1/5
I booked this hotel room for my employee that used to live in the Charleston area. The front desk woman told him that they do not allow locals to stay at the hotel. He no longer lives in the area, but still has a local ID. I found this policy to be asinine.
- 5/5
Everything was great the people was nice it was a great quiet environment.
- 5/5
This is a great hotel for the price in the area it is in. The hotel is older but has been recently updated and is in great condition. Super comfy beds and close to everything. And free breakfast was surprisingly good! Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and waffles. A good spread for a free breakfast. Would def stay here again.
- 5/5
Our heater didn’t work and it was 30 degrees outside they promptly gave us another room
- 5/5
Really weird that everything is digital. No front desk. Expensive snacks self checkout.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
The bedframe was dangerously exposed The bathtub was not clean properly The price was low, i received what i paid for. Not going to recommend or stay again
- 4/5
This was our 4th stay at the Quality. Breakfast was great, The property is showing a little bit of age, the bed in our room had older mattress not as soft as other places. The night we were there a lot of commercial vehicles (tree trimmers) parked on the property and left at 7AM so it was very noisy, diesel engine warming up etc. Not the first time too that this happened. So, not a bad stay, but some improvement could be made.
- 5/5
The service and staff were excellent. I would stay here again. The room is okay.
- 5/5
Amazing place
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and very professional. Property looked very nice and well maintained, but there were cosmetic issues with the room ( peeling paint in the bathroom, loose shower head etc) Good breakfast with several choices
- 4/5
It was ok. The rooms were clean but the towel bar fell down and something else fell down too. Can’t remember now what it was. Everything in the bathroom was rusted. The shower amenities were of very poor quality, the towels were rough, the pillows were way too soft to support your head and the toilet just really didn’t want to flush. You could tell that someone fixed something on it because the only way to make sure it didn’t keep running was to lift the handle way up beyond the tank. But it was clean and the desk gal was very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful but powdered eggs, the cheapest sausage you could get that was full of gristle (and not cooked very well) and orange juice “cocktail” is just not very good. I am surprised how many people gave this breakfast such good reviews.
- 5/5
Clean room, very nice staff, and good breakfast something for everyone.
- 5/5
Front desk staff extremely kind.
- 4/5
Yes
- 3/5
It was fine. Nothing spectacular but satisfactory. Only bad thing was that the fridge made some awful sound so we had to unplug it. We asked to move to the room next to use but it wasn't an option so we just dealt with it.
- 5/5
Cleanliness, staff
- 3/5
Lots of construction workers staying They partied together outside room late
- 4/5
Our room was big and the beds were comfortable.
- 3/5
Needs better water pressure
- 4/5
Brittany at the front desk was excellent. We didn't eat the breakfast since there were so many restaurants in Charleston we wanted to try. Beds were clean and comfortable. Good size tv. Conveniently close to everything. I would stay there again.
- 4/5
It was convenient to restaurants.
- 4/5
Close to restaurants and activities Friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
Location was close to Customer, and the stay was relaxing and enjoyable!
- 4/5
Easy check in/out procedure and staff was very helpful. Great place to stay for the price value.
- 3/5
Great location and comfortable bed. Old hotel, needs updating. Room had numerous issues, with poorly working items. Seriously low water pressure. NONE of the ice machines on property worked while i was there.
- 4/5
Check in was easy. Near Patriots Point and restaurants. Great location 👍
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Clean room,great staff
- 3/5

Honestly my friends and I were reserved about staying here. The other hotels were crazy expensive in the area. Including quality inn, we paid almost 300. None of us stayed for breakfast so we can’t attest to that. The room was clean, cozy and smelled amazing. The staff was also super helpful and kind! If you’re on the fence, I’d book!
- 5/5
I had a really good experience at this hotel. A lot better than I expected based off some of the negative reviews. The front office staff was extremely polite and tentative to our needs. Brittany, at the front desk, even check me in early. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely stay back there again. Great value for the price and the location was excellent.
- 3/5
Room was smelly
- 2/5
Is a good place for sleep and is near to the places but the quality in the hotel is not worth 500 dollars
- 5/5
Very nice facility, amenities, price for Mt. Pleasant Charleston area. Staff is great!
- 4/5
We were visiting our son who is at the college of Charleston, and this hotel was very convenient. It is a basic motel style hotel, but it is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the beds are comfortable.
- 2/5
Staff were not friendly. Rooms are old and musty smelling. No hot water in the shower. Pool looked dirty. Prior reviews I read were misleading. Very disappointed. We were staying in the area for a birthday celebration and I was actually embarrassed to say we were staying there.
- 4/5
No Early Check in. Room was ok
- 4/5
The staff here were wonderful, super kind and helpful. Property is old though and needs a remodel. Also there were a bunch of men loitering outside their rooms for hours on end, at night. That didn't feel safe to me (especially as I was traveling with my young son).
- 2/5
The bed sheets did not feel clean, the bathroom had its repair problems.
- 5/5
Great location. Clean room, pool, fitness center, free breakfast.
- 5/5
For the price this was an excellent hotel. It was very clean. The staff was super friendly now obviously it’s not a five star hotel but you could walk places and it felt very safe. It was also a five dollar Uber trip to downtown Charleston. Some of the guests that were staying there were construction workers, which was fine, but they were a little Rowdy, but I will say I didn’t hear anything later at night. My service dog loved it there as well!
- 4/5
Property was sufficient for our needs. Convenient to the park, shopping and food.
- 5/5
Very convenient to all areas of Charleston
- 4/5
Room felt old, especially the bathroom. It felt musty
- 4/5
Everything was great except the che
- 4/5
Easy parking, flexible check in process.
- 1/5
It was all men staying there couldn’t use the pool. Our room was next to a bunch men workers staying at the hotel. There was a lot of yelling, laughing partying all night. Beer stack to ceiling. They blocked walk way. The check in lady at front desk was rude. Carpet stain. NOT A PLEASANT STAY! I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!
- 4/5
Good room for quick night’s sleep after a late flight; hotel required a telephone call for check in as the front desk isn’t staffed 24 hours but clerk was prompt after my initial call and I got checked in; room had a musty smell but turning on the a/c helped; nice quality beds; good TV channel choices although I wasn’t really there long. Complimentary breakfast was nice. I wouldn’t pick it for a vacation destination but for a quick stop over it was perfect for the price.
- 5/5
The reamfast provided was delicious. Waffle maker was dun, as well. The room was clean and we.rested well after a day at the beach.
- 5/5
Clean room! Clean hotel.
- 5/5
Hotel was great - staff also - Breakfast also very good -Apple's GPS service couldn't find the location of the property, and eventually had to call the hotel to get directions
- 4/5
we only stayed 1 night was fine nothing to rave about would stay agin if needed
- 3/5
Room was clean but dated. King bed with small flat pillows (uncomfortable). Asked for extra pillows and received 2 standard pillows. ( much more lofted and comfortable). Cold water was practically non existent , it was warm no matter how long it ran
- 4/5
Our tub drain was clogged the entire time, which we reported early on, so that was disappointing. But all in all it was a pleasant stay!
- 5/5
Clean room. Comfy bed. Nice courtyard and pool. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
Pros- easy 10 min access to Citadel and breakfast buffet clean, fresh and kept refilled. Room, fridge, microwave, and surfaces were clean. Bed and pillows comfy. Cons- bathroom was in need of upgrade as tub was rusted, faucet handle broken and mold in caulking around tub. Room key needed to be rekeyed 9 of 10 uses which was very inconvenient as we were on back side of motel farthest away from lobby. Walkways were very slippery from A/C dripping from the units onto painted concrete. I saw 2 people slip and fall at different times - though one was drunk. Room was entered and cleaned even when we placed plaquard to not disturb. All in all ok deal
- 2/5
Fridge froze our food, bathroom was not clean, mexicans drinking in corridors and parking lot!
- 5/5
Wonderful, quiet, clean motel. Will stay here again. Great value!
- 5/5
It is convenient to downtown without being at the city center. Great facility, exceptional hotel breakfast and friendly and helpful staff! I would definitely stay here again!
- 1/5
We had millipedes in the bathroom area, gnats flying around and dead bugs on the ceiling. Room just had a “wet” feeling. Was a busy weekend so hotels were booked or very expensive so we didn’t have a choice but to stay there. Expedia tried to get us a refund but hotel refused. We looked at reviews before we stayed and feel like they are not truthful at all. Would never stay here again.
- 1/5
Doors were jammed. Key pad wasn’t working. Although they did send someone next day morning to fix it. Water started leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom. Water from the air conditioners leaking everywhere.
- 3/5
The lady who checked us in was awesome. Rooms could use an upgrade ! Stay was good though .
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable bedding, toiletries, in room fridge, coffee, microwave, sufficient free breakfast, lovely pool and nice outdoor seating area, extremely close to Charleston via beautiful scenic bridge with park, shops, wholesome supermarkets and many restaurants both quick serve and not nearby. Slightly outdated otherwise a perfectly comfortable stay for a short stay.
- 4/5
Very close to what I needed. The property is older and there was hair in the bathtub upon arrival.
- 2/5
Lady at front desk not so friendly
- 5/5
Katrina was great!
- 5/5
Clean friendly and worth the money
- 4/5
Great staff. Had a problem with our room that they were unaware of. Gave us a new room immediately. Room was pretty good ( older rooms ) breakfast was good. Basically the same as other hotels. I would stay again
- 5/5
We are dead like our stay
- 4/5
I liked the room, the front desk manager was nice and it was peaceful. I think that the property could use a refresher on the outside, have the parking lot paved because it is a little rough and I if you take a left turn out of the lot and go to the light you have to go right and all of a sudden you’re on the bridge to Charleston, which was a surprise. Overall, I thought it was a good value.
- 3/5
The front desk staff was rude and lazy. Bith at check in and out. Not only with me but the gentleman in front of me asked about his nonworking room key. Staff was so ugly to him. Made me rethink staying there.
- 5/5
Was visiting a friend in Charleston and didnt want to spend a fortune. This place was perfect. Clean swimming pool. Convenient. In hotel row it seemed. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend if you aren't the "have to have the best" type.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of variety at a low price.
- 5/5
The area has great food options
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. Room & property clean. Location convient to beaches &restaurants
- 4/5
Good option for a hotel right outside of downtown
- 5/5
I was asked a $50 deposit at the desk. It was abligatory. So i payed it. What if I didn't have that money at the time of check in, i then couldn't stay there even after i payed expedia, and no return money. It wasn't right.
- 5/5
The beds are comfortable and the breakfast was good
- 5/5
There is a beautiful park/ fishing pier that is wonderful if you want a nice walking area! The staff were very nice especially Faith! She was very helpful in restaurant recommendations. The only downside is the hotel is somewhat isolated and not close to restaurants or bars. Would stay there again if in Charleston
- 5/5
Very quiet location! Never had to have a card punched before to eat breakfast, so that would be unique to me.
- 4/5
Very convenient for going to the beach and Charleston. Nothing took us more than 15 minutes. Lots of stores nearby as well.
- 4/5
Nice, quiet location
- 5/5
This was a nice hotel for the price.
- 5/5
Very excellent for the price. Its in close proximity to everything, youre basically in the middle of Charleston and the Isle of Palms...Shem Creek is right around the corner. A nice courtyard and gazebo, saltwater pool. Quiet and cozy. The breakfast is also pretty good
- 3/5
Fine for a quick 2 nite stay
- 5/5
Decent place, clean and quiet, only stayed one night as I was on the road but would stay again.
- 4/5
Solid option especially for solo travelers or couples trying to ball on a budget. "Snooze you lose" definitely applies when it comes to breakfast, but they do pay attention to what runs out. Just remember to close your window shades before it gets dark, otherwise you're putting on a show for the whole hotel.
- 5/5
Great to stay
- 5/5
Great place to stay for the money.

I gave the blooming report, now let me submit it, already!
- 4/5
We liked that the hotel was close to the beach, downtown Charleston and close to all highways. There is nothing that we did not like.
- 3/5
None of the ice machines worked. Breakfast was pretty sad. AC in the rooms blew cold but the room stayed too warm. The people were nice and it’s a pretty good location
- 5/5
The front desk ladies were so nice and accommodating.
- 3/5
Staff was nice and polite. Entry door into our room was broken. You could tell this was an old hotel
- 4/5
Property was clean and conveniently located. Staff was friendly. Easy in and out in parking.
- 4/5
The lady who checked us in was kind of rude. The pool was closed the whole time we were there even though the first day it has only rained for maybe an hour. Breakfast was so busy there wasn’t anywhere for people to sit. On night two the humidity outside was so bad that the carpets in our room felt wet. But overall it was a good stay.
- 5/5
Front desk awesome i love the ladies very polite i love staying here
- 4/5
Close to the highway connecting to Charleston
- 3/5
Ice machine didnt work. Parking was not convenient to our room. People hanging out in the parking lot. Staff was great. Breakfast staff not friendly or courteous to anyone. Almost rude to guests.
- 1/5
The rooms are old and outdated with rusted and cracked furniture the carpet was old and dirty (as if it been there since the Hotel was built ) it smelled horrible The Continental Breakfast was ok, but they gave the same exact thing every day. The TV had no cable only Samsung Channels and the phone in the hotel room was not working
- 5/5
So far this trip (out of 4 different reservations) this was the best. Esp breakfast options.
- 5/5
Great stay for my birthday get away. Nice people, good breakfast.
- 5/5
This is the second time I have stayed here while visiting my daughter. Everything was very clean and the staff are extremely nice.
- 2/5
We reserved no smoking room. But unfortunately bad surprises strong smoking room that make your night there a very nightmare.
- 5/5
Inexpensive clean rooms in a good location. The Staff was super friendly, but more importantly, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot..
- 5/5
Looks like recently remodeled. Sparkling clean bathroom, clean room! Beds and pillows are comfortable. Great front desk and employees! Pool, free bfast, big screen tv, micro and fridge are nice too. Able to stay two nights since it was inexpensive :) Near numerous resturants.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good nice and warm. Beds were very comfortable. Only thing I didn’t like was there wasn’t cold water available
- 4/5
Great breakfast and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Clean Quiet priced good
- 5/5
Great hotel for the price. Convenient to everything
- 3/5
Reception was friendly. Entered room and as expected it was warm but thought it would cool down once air was on. We had a fan and the air on and if never cooled down. After several hours reported the issue and was moved to another room. This room was no better. Temperature gadge said it was 77 degrees in the second room. Only cooled down around 4 in the morning. Room was clean but the linens could afford to be updated as they were stained with makeup on the pillow cases and sheets. Staff was nice, facility was taken care of, the area was quiet for being near a busy street and breakfast was decent. I would just say if you don’t tolerate heat this might not be for you.
- 3/5
Location is the best thing
- 4/5
Will stay again. Good for the money!
- 4/5
Staff is very nice, Katrina at front desk was very helpful in finding a first floor room for us as my daughter had a broken foot. The room was clean but could use some tlc in replacement of worn furniture and carpet. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really fresh and good - everything you could want!
- 5/5
Our AC was not working properly in our room one afternoon. I called the front desk and within 15 minutes, the maintenance technician was there. Instead of moving us to a new room which would have meant packing everything up, they quickly switched out the unit.
- 5/5
High quality experience for great price. Rooms super clean, breakfast included and property quiet. Staff was very helpful.
- 3/5
Fine motel for the price.
- 4/5
Clean convenient to places we were interested in. Would stay here again
- 5/5
Well kept and clean pool.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great, room was too. Staff was friendly. Only minute care was the pool, it was a little cloudy-that could have been from use, it was busy in the evenings, had also rained-so all contributing factors. I will definitely be booking them again for next trip to Mt Pleasant/Charleston
- 4/5
Honest staff!! I got a call shortly after we checked out stating we left a large bag. This bag doesnt zip, so right on top were my $200 pair of shoes, beach towels, 2 brumate koozies, and my cash was in there. Thanks so much to the cleaning staff and front desk lady who called me. Breakfast was good. The only negative thing I can say is the air conditioner struggled and didn't cool down until 2 am. But, this hotel was about $200-250 cheaper than surrounding hotels for our two nights, so that basically paid for our dinner one night. Thanks again!
- 3/5
The cleaning lady was very nice
- 3/5
Beds are full size not queen. Little outdated but clean.
- 5/5
It was a nice place to stay for the weekend.
- 4/5
Nice & clean! Perfect location for anyone wanting to enjoy downtown Charleston & the outer beach areas! Great price too!
- 2/5
I had to get a new key card 5 times in 2 days. Kept getting locked out of my room.
- 4/5
Comfortable stay, nice location, clean and staff was very nice.
- 2/5
The air conditioner leaked onto the floor in one of the rooms, reaked of mildew and the floor was soaking wet. Full continental breakfast was from 6-9am and at 8:15, when my family and I went down, food was scarce and the staff stated they weren't making anymore. Affordability was the only perk.
- 4/5
Very clean. Comfortable. Close to Patriots Point.
- 2/5
My bed sheets were covered in dirt and had not been washed
- 3/5
It’s an ok hotel. The front desk personnel are not friendly. The cleaning ladies and the lady at the breakfast buffet were nice and very helpful.
- 5/5
Nice pool and only 10 minutes to Charleston historic district.
- 3/5
Checked in late Friday night, got a room that faced the pool area. Very loud, no control from hotel on noise, marijuana smell coming into my room. No one on site to help. Toilet had a crack in the base and was leaking.
- 2/5
Would I recommend to a friend? No The hotel room was muggy and stunk like pee and mildew. The bathroom was gross, there was mold and rust all over the bathtub. I don’t think the rooms get properly cleaned, the pillows still smelled of a man’s cologne. There were stains on the chair. The hand towels had dirt on the them. The worst bed I have slept at in a hotel, I may as well laid on the floor (I had a king room). Good thing I only stayed here one night, because otherwise I would have checked out and went somewhere else, even if that meant I didn’t get my money back. The room was in desperate need of a renovation and deep clean.
