Reviews
The hotel generally receives positive reviews for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The location is also praised for its proximity to dining options and a mall. However, there are some recurring issues with the quality of the breakfast, parking fees, and occasional maintenance problems.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Friendly and professional staff
- Quality of breakfast is inconsistent
- Parking fees can be an unexpected extra cost
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, good location, nice breakfast.
- 4/5
Only downfall was one of the elevators weren't working, the only operational one took a long time to accommodate all the guests.
- 5/5
The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. It is close to stores and even Costco. Very neat kids play cafe for kids to just play and parents to eat or relax. More elevators working but they were spacious in size.
- 1/5
The pull out bed had blood on it. Absolutely gross didnt realise till it was midnight and had to he up at 5am. So gross. Also booked a suite with 2 beds and a pull out bed and got 1 bed and a pull out bed. Not what i ordered.Pool was nice and warm.

Great stay!
- 3/5
Upon check in room was absolutely filthy. Looked as if it had never been cleaned. I stayed with my family and have two infants and could not stay in this room. Staff was helpful and moved us to a small but clean room. Make sure to check the room thoroughly before staying in it!
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Overall was decent for one night stay. We used the pool and staff was nice the bit of interaction we had. Parking was under garage. It wasn’t too expensive ($11) but would preferred be included. It did automatically get included during check in. Location was nice as it’s surrounded by shopping center /movie theater.
- 5/5
All staff members were very helpful and nice, will for sure recommend this hotel to friends and family
- 5/5
Parking is $10 per night stayed. Room clean. The place has a look and feel of newness. Staff is fantastic.
- 3/5
Cons: Our keys were unreliable and had to be remade everyday, so we were often locked out. Room had in-room coffee maker but we only received one coffee pouch each for four nights. One of the bathrooms on the main floor was out-of-order the entire stay. Only one elevator worked and it was SLOW and always a line. Workout room didn’t have wipes or cleaning supplies available to clean seats before/after working out.
- 3/5
The room was fine. But checking in was somewhat of a problem. Not sure what the reason was but the key card could not open the room. We got in very late that night and had to back to the front desk twice to let her know the card didn't allow us to enter the room. So finally she had to come up and use the master key to let us in. I guess it happens.

- 4/5
Soggy muffins. I mean, come on now. It was pitiful. I wouldn't stay here again unless I had to
- 4/5
Great facility. Parking was a breeze. Check in was seamless. A bit of a walk to the room however there are only a pair of elevators so walking is a must. Pool was great and breakfast definitely worth waking up to. Overall good experience. I would recommend staying here.
- 5/5
The parking spaces were big enough that I didn’t have to worry about someone banging into my vehicle. The parking was underneath the hotel and was accessed first by a key card and then an operator opened the garage door. It felt safe.

Great room, great staff, fantastic town center with plenty of food and shopping options
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Breakfast could use a little more variety though. Otherwise it’s a fantastic place to stay.
- 5/5
The key cards are temperamental sometimes
- 4/5
Parking was safe and easy, breakfast was not really good. No fresh fruits, and the rest was barely edible. Otherwise the overall stay was good. With rooms being spacious and clean, and the location was perfect for the near by industry.
- 5/5
Having reserved a "suite", I had no idea of the actual size until I got there. Much roomier than other "suites" I had stayed in. It was quite clean and comfortable. Very thankful they had their own secure parking garage, too. The staff attended to our every need promptly. The complimentary breakfast offered most all the same stuff others do, however, this one was better cooked and tastier than the others. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

When we came, we were asked for Incidental deposit of $50 per day which we did not know about, but we were finally admitted not giving it thanks to Nicoletta who worked at the reception. Our room was on the third floor and very far from the elevator, which was not good for my husband, but we were just too tired to go back and complain. Room was pretty simple and somehow felt empty. On the first day we were out all day, but when we came back, absolutely no housekeeping was done. When I called, we received clean towels, and the employee took garbage that my husband sorted out using our plastic bags. She was very surprised that our room was not cleaned. But then, I got a text message from someone called Robert who said that they do housekeeping every other day. When I checked, Internet i saw that it was written that the housekeeping was done every day. Mauro sent a note, too which was pleasant apologizing for what has happened. On the second day our room was really perfect as it should have been on the first day. After all they present themselves using the name Hilton! Breakfast was included, but not that different from the place where we stayed for only $80 per night. The positive part is the enclosed garage which does add to safety. I am not sure we will go back to that place again. What is truly disappointing was that we lived in the neighboring suburb for decades and were truly happy to stay at this pace. I It is written above.

The ac in our room was not working. They came to reset it and then showed us how to do it again... clearly an ongoing problem. The door handle to the balcony is not even fully attached. The breakfast was okay. The waffle dispenser sucked. The pool was a good temp

Great breakfasts and friendly staff! Great place to stay in the area!
- 5/5
Glad there was parking
- 4/5
Good location in a mall…. Lots around the property (shopping, restaurants). Didn’t love the creepy underground parking but there was no other choice.
- 3/5
Breakfast was ok, thermostat didn’t work to cool the room to the temperature set

Great stay ! Highly recommend. Good and friendly staff
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Overall a good place to stay. Sadly the bathroom had peeling paint, what looked like mold in the shower, and the carpets throughout the room seemed like they could use a good cleaning. Breakfast was good, staff friendly, and the underground parking was nice (albeit for a charge).

Parking in the underground lot is extremely convenient and the rooms itself I had no issues with. Things were clean and there were plenty of convenient amenities. Only one issue came up when we smelled a sewage smell from the bathroom and I noticed a leaky pipe under the sink. Fortunately I just told the front desk and they are quick to immediately provide a new room and apologized for the incident, so everything was perfectly resolved.
- 4/5
Decent breakfast, very long hallways. The only parking on property is in underground lot for a fee.

- 5/5
Breakfast is great with many choices and always being replenished. Parking in underground garage is definitely worth it.
- 4/5
We stayed 3 nights an 4 days. Love the location. Only concern was the front desk lady, she was nice polite, but checked us in and gave me no hotel information regarding breakfast, where pool is and at least just a bit about the hotel, I had to ask. The front deak lady just hand me my keys, told me to park in the under parking lot and send us on our way. It was not a very welcoming check in. Overall I gave it a high score just for location, clean room.and nice staff.
- 4.5/5
Location is very good and overall facility is nice. Workout room and pool are added bonus. Beds and pillows could be improved. Only one elevator was working for a large hotel was inconvenient.
- 5/5
Property was in a nice area with much to do within walking distance. Pets were accepted and there were areas to walk them.
- 5/5
Clean room, great location!
- 4/5
We probably would not stay here again. We were not expecting it to be in the middle of a mall.
- 4/5
Clean but could use touch ups. Possibly upgrading. Friendly helpful staff. Nice indoor parking.
- 2/5
The room was clean… The bed was just very uncomfortable, as were the pillows.. and I couldn’t figure out the thermostat with air blasting out of it. And you had to pay $10 to park, which I found to be ridiculous. It was a decent value though.
- 5/5
Clean room. Breakfast until 10.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
The high quality stay I expect from this chain. I have stayed here twice in the winter and the parking lot makes this a fantastic choice, as it is underground beneath the hotel—fantastic on a frigid winter day with blowing snow to unload and load in a 40 degree garage!
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfy. Staff was great. Indoor heated parking was awesome.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay. Quaint surrounding area. Parking was confusing. Fyi its underground to the right of the building.
- 5/5
Good selections
- 3/5
This property needs a scrub down, a deep, deep cleaning. The location is great and the amenities are good, but you can tell they are cutting corners on housekeeping and on keeping up with decor
- 5/5
Everything is good
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast- fresh and replenished up until the end of service. Clean room. Happy with my stay.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful, from cleanliness to amenities! We really enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
This was an above-average hotel experience, thanks largely due to an extremely kind and attentive front desk staff. The hotel is clean and well-located, too.
- 4/5
Estuvo bien . El personal amable . El desayuno ok. La limpieza ok.
- 5/5
The room is always very comfy and spacious, and the breakfast is ample.
- 4/5
Rooms a bit outdated but great place for what we needed
- 5/5
very clean and quite.
- 4/5
Love the location since it was close to where we needed to be and with shops and places to eat close by that was also nice. Bed was very hard and pillows were so flat we had to go buy pillows for the stay. TV is outdated with no features for streaming and the lighting could be updated in the rooms. Staff was courteous and the underground parking was nice since it snowed.
- 5/5
Very nice property!
- 5/5
Great stay and would stay again!
- 5/5
Great housekeeping staff!
- 4/5
What I didn't like was that there was only the desk chair to use. A comfortable chair was missing!
- 5/5
Excellent service by staff, Room was great.
- 5/5
The staff, Jacob was very polite.
- 4/5
the tv in our room was on a wall that was not in line with the bed - the it turned so it wasn't bad
- 5/5
The room was spotless, the breakfast is great, and the staff is super friendly. A must stay!
- 5/5
Property was very convenient for me. Very quiet. Would stay again.
- 4/5
Hotel security needs to be improved
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Great breakfast food. We also enjoyed the pool.
- 4/5
We stay here at least twice a year while visiting family in the area and always find it friendly and satisfactory.
- 5/5
Was very nice all around!
- 5/5
Parking was easy and safe. Breakfast was ok. The rooms need to be spruced up. They are looking warn
- 5/5
Great breakfast too!
- 5/5
Clean, very comfortable, spacious, friendly staff.
- 3/5
Washroom and toilets is not cleaned well.
- 4/5
Very nice staff. Property was clean and modern.
- 4/5
Good ambience and at prime location
- 3/5
The room was clean enough, except for what looked like body fluid stains on the wall near the bed and damaged furniture and valance. Staff was a bit lackidasical. The place needs an update on the outdated decor from 1980. I expect more from a Hilton owned hotel.
- 4/5
The hotel can use a few more luggage carts. We were on the 4th floor checking out and they only have 1 cart and a guest decided to keep it in their room. We had to carry everything (luggage and cooler) with 2 dogs to the elevator (4th floor) and then load the elevator to go down to the garage. For as many rooms that are in this hotel 400+, they should have more than 1 luggage cart. Also, never stayed at a hotel where we had to pay for parking with no other options available. For the price of a room $150+, parking should be included. Especially when you have no other choice. Otherwise, the hotel and the room was clean. Breakfast was never a disappointment. One of the reasons why we the love staying at the Hampton Inn.
- 5/5
Great staff. Great rooms. Great location.
- 5/5
Staff was more than helpful and polite. Picked this place for the cost and rating and it didn’t disappoint. Half the price than if I stayed downtown; I ended up driving downtown anyway every day we stayed, just a bit longer drive. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 5/5
Great property in a quiet area
- 5/5
Room is clean and good size. The bed is super comfy for us. Excellent services. Breakfast is good. The best part is next to Costco and other stores. A lot to see and do.
- 5/5
Reasonably close to Chicago O’Hare airport, free breakfast, spacious room, indoor swimming pool and gym, plenty of shopping stores within walking distance.
- 5/5
everything is great
- 2/5
Property is not well maintained
- 5/5
Awesome, lobby food is over priced. Why is microwaveable Mac & cheese $12? Ridiculous
- 5/5
Very quick check in. Room was very accommodating for me in wheelchair. Staff was kind and helpful. Very attentive.
- 4/5
The breakfast was "ordinary", but everything else was very good.
- 3/5
Bed was extremely uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Front desk guy upon checking in was friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Key would not work on 2 occasions. Refrigerator did not seem to be working.
- 5/5
Great and convenient
- 4/5
As a student of Architecture, I’d love to have a conversation with the designer of the building. Having one of two elevators not go to the basement, creates an interesting game to play when leaving for the day. Will the right elevator come or do I need to swap out on the main floor… and why not take the stairs you might ask, from the lobby to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, sure… but not to the basement, that’s a different set of stairs… otherwise the place was great, but that design aspect truly had us scratching our heads.
- 5/5
Had a nice stay for 3 nights. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
- 3/5
The hotel is quiet and clean, and I really loved the location. However, a couple of things need improvement. The front door locks at 11 PM, and the entry cards and “call” button don’t work after that - one night I had to wait outside for 10 minutes until someone let me in. That’s really not okay and needs to be fixed. Also, the breakfast is mediocre.
- 4/5
Hotel attached to a small strip mall so there are few chain stores to shop an eat. Costco was next door as well, good place to buy drinks for longer stay. One issue was the keycards. Hampton might be pushing for people to become program members to have access to the digital keycard on the phone. My boyfriend and I had a keycard each and his deactivated after a day. We inquire at the desk and was told if you put the card next to a smart phone sometimes it deactivates the card??? This is a first for us because we stayed at another hotel in CA and never had this issue with those cards deactivating. They replace the card and gave us another so I had 3 cards, then 2 of them deactivated again over the next couple of days. It is a minor inconvenience when this happens cause you can not access the parking garage or gym etc. Unsure if the hotel needs to invest in different cards that are not affecting by smart phones, cause it too easy to have the card end up sitting next to one in your purse or pocket.
- 5/5
Location was great and convenient
- 4/5
Nice place to stay
- 5/5
The entire staff was great and accommodating.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent! Super friendly, and they were very accommodating!
- 5/5
Front desk staff very friendly and helpful!
- 4/5
Centra AC was not good, room temp was 80 and 78min. But the room is confortable. The only issue, tempeture room warm all the time.
- 4/5
Attractive hotel located near Rand shopping, dining. Two types of pillows for sleep, comfortable mattress. Excellent and varied breakfast offerings each day of our stay. Husband has to be gluten free and there were options for him and a sign about food allergies. Parking garage included and for hotel guests only.
- 5/5
Very clean, very nice, great price for what we got, definitely would stay again.
- 5/5
Spacious rooms very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when visiting Mount Prospect.

Very nice hotel. Did not clean room even once during our 3-day stay, did not bring fresh towels either.
- 2/5
Shower had low pressure, cheap plastic spray hose and spray head. Tub water switch leaked. Could have been cleaner.
- 5/5
Deep tub was amazing.

- 5/5
Very comfortable. Very nice hotel
- 5/5
Really an excellent experience. Breakfast was as good as hotels get it.
- 5/5
Clean, easy parking, friendly staff
- 4/5
Also, when replenishing the room, guest services should refill the dispensers. We were out of hand soap and body lotion upon check-in.
- 5/5
We travel to Mt Prospect often for family and recently discovered Hampton Inn located in Mt Prospect. We were very satisfied and based on our experience so far, it will be our lodging of choice going forward.
- 2/5
When we arrived, the man at the desk was very rude to me giving me attitude because i went through your service and not directly through the hotel itself. Then we arrive into our room and their was garbage wrappers on the floor and under bed. The coffee machine was broke, and our key didnt work. When i explained to the gentleman one of the keys didnt work. He gave me attitude and reset it, it still didnt work. At this point my husband told me just forget it, he clearly doesnt want to help us. Its a shame we took the kids here for Easter. The pool was dirty and freezing cold as well. Breakfast was only 4 items and the bagels and muffins were stale. Im not happy at all . Will never go back. Horrible experience
- 3/5
Breakfast was absolute garbage
- 5/5
We liked everything. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
Location is great, rooms are large, and nice amenities, but the rooms are not very carefully cleaned (there were some smudges that may have been blood on our comforter among other noticeable cut corners in the housekeeping).
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Pretty nice area! Nice place to stay
- 5/5
Amazing
- 2/5
The front desk person was not helpful. Also why do I not get credit for staying at a Hilton when I book through Hotels.com? I am GOld with Hilton..guess I need to stop using Hotels.com
- 4/5
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times with family and always a different price for the same rooms.
- 4/5
Had a one night stay while in town for a concert. Hotel was nice although a bit hard to navigate but that was mostly because of the Costco next door and we are out of towners. Room was clean. Concierge was nice.
- 5/5
Helpful staff & parking right there.
- 5/5
It was close to Parrot Stars!
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
It’s always a nice time here!
- 5/5
excellent stay
- 5/5
I always stay here when I visit my friend in the area. It is clean and the area around it has easy access to food and shopping. The staff are always friendly and the breakfast is good too.
- 4/5
It was nice.
- 5/5
We stayed here for a sporting event. Clean, friendly staff, nice room and great breakfast.
- 4/5
Convenient location, friendly staff. Would stay again
- 3/5
This is the second time staying here the first room was FAR BETTER that the one we stayed in last night! The beds were very uncomfortable & pillows were just awful!!! The reason I wanted to even go back was because I had the most awesome soaking tub the first time completely separated from the shower, nice and deep last nights was a shower tub combo and not very deep I was extremely disappointed!
- 4/5
Anything is good but the breakfast which is so simple and foods are same every day.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Plsasant atmosphere, safe, and quiet
- 5/5
Muy bonitas..!!
- 5/5
My key card don’t work in the garage.
- 2/5
Room was cold. No pillows or blankets for pull out bed.
- 3/5
The breakfast was disappointing. Tasteless.
- 5/5
Very good
- 4/5
Only negative is the heating system; the fan and heater is too loud during the night and disturbed our sleep. Turned it off at night. Luckily, the comforter kept us warm.
- 5/5
Clean with very nice reception
- 5/5
Parking is underground which is a big plus in the winter. However they have raised the price to 10.50 nightly.
- 3/5
They put me as a no show even though I noted late arrival in my reservation. We arrived late and clerk did not know how to fix so we had to secure second reservation. Manager was able to credit one nights stay the following day.
- 5/5
Maggie and Robert were friendly and helpful. Maggie made sure our room was ready, allowing us time to prepare for our event. The room was clean and spacious. The staff and location of your hotel helped make our stay that much more wonderful.
- 5/5
Heated garage in winter was awesome. Very clean hotel
- 4/5
We did ask ahead for the sofa bed to be made up, and then once again, and it was not. However, staff provided us with linens and pillows at the desk at 11pm. The parking garage entrance was not user friendly and we have used many similar systems! We had difficulty getting it to work.
- 5/5
Check in was very simple and host very pleasant
- 5/5
love it
- 5/5
The room was huge and bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
This is my third stay at this hotel for business purpose. The staff is and has always been very pleasant and accommodating, I highly recommend this hotel for a preferred choice of lodging as it rates better than some high end hotels that I have not been as pleased with thus the reason I continue to return!
- 2/5
Every amenities are pretty outdated for the price they are charging
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Great breakfast
- 3/5
Other staff were nice, however, and the room we did have was nice and clean.
