Great location. Had access ro multiple pools. Was able to walk to the restaurant that we ate at. Bed was a little uncomfortable but that had alot to do with my sun burn. I was also told we were going to be on the 3rd floor and when we arrive we were given the bottom floor. Didn't report it because we were just way to tired from the drive.

The staff is very courteous. The location was great for walking to local attractions. The room was decent but could’ve used more cleaning. I stayed there before in a different room that was cleaner and more updated. The power went out in the room in the middle of the night. I let the front desk know the next morning and they promptly sent someone to check it out.

Great budget friendly mom and pop type motel. Older, Nothing fancy, but if you don't need all the extras, and not too bougie this is a good place to stay.

Hotel was terrible! Very, very dirty and in poor condition. Room was not clean. Outside room was overflowing trash can. I saw cleaning crew seating, talking, staying on the phones and eating on the hotel property. Parking was small and full but you could park across the street from hotel property. The only good was location, oceanfront.

The location is amazing. Everything is within a 10 minute walk and beach is steps away. In room hot water was some of the hottest water in a hotel I ever experienced. You also can not hear the people staying above or next to you. I knew the hotel was older but the condition was worse than I thought. A lot of peeling and chipped paint on everything in side and out. Some water damage on bathroom door. Giant gaps in door which is also a concern of bugs crawling in.. Rust on floor where bed and table legs sit on floor. There was rust on the stove and in the freezer. And we did see one roach. We stayed for 4 nights and it was on the 3rd night under the bed. They said the property was owned by the same next door at Windsurfer. So if we needed something we had to go to Windsurfer for it for example ice machine. Also, the pool at admiral inn looked amazing from far away but up close was dirty all 4 days with a film sitting on the top and I dont even know floating in it.

The front desk lady was nice. Felt sketchy. The bedsheets were stained with previous body substances. We found black pubic hairs in the bed. We didn’t want to take our shoes off on the grumpy tile floor. Paint was peeing in the bathroom.

We stayed with our cat, and there were no extra pet deposits, which we really appreciated. Free parking was another big plus. The staff was friendly, always available, and responded quickly to any questions we had. The location is great, close to the boardwalk and the second pier. Overall, we were happy with our stay. The room was clean; but dated. The staff was freindly and efficient (easy check in and check out ). The best feature is the Boardwalk access (about 20 yards), access to 2nd St Pier. A great stay for the price.

Parking was great. The staff was great! I loved having a kitchen. The building is old and it shows. But the room was clean and the price was unbeatable. I will stay again. The pool was not available and I would have liked to use it.

I just love the property. You can walk right onto the boardwalk. There is pool access and hotub access. The laundry is completely reasonable. They have efficiency hotel rooms that are very reasonable and nice, and some efficiencies with Oceanviews. It's really a hidden treasure.

The staff was super nice but was located on the loudest side of town possible. The air conditioner wasn’t the coldest and had gaps between the unit and wall allowing to see outside and hot air in. The commode sat to the floor like it belonged in a kindergarten class, the br wasn’t the cleanest not because it wasn’t clean but because it was old and worn out leaving staines to be visible. Yea one gets what they paid for in cheapness so don’t expect a room made for a king. But again staff was nice.

It's a older hotel, but the property was pretty clean. Great ocean view, I don't swim but the pool was closed and the water in there was dirty so for those who want to utilize the pool just call ahead to see whether it's open or not. The property next door management told me put those who want to utilize the pool and jacuzzi they could use theirs. The bathroom had plenty of towels the only downsize is it needed grab bars around the tub/shower. The water was 'extremely hot' so be careful.

Location as good, but cleaning of the room specifically the bathroom was not good 😐 toilet and sink was disgusting. Thank goodness I always have a clorox bottle with me.

The rooms are not clean there were roaches in the room, the tv runs on wifi and it kept getting interrupted, the phone in the room didn't work. The room looked nothing like what was shown online. Very outdated and not clean looked under the bed there was trash, dirt and roaches. The only thing that was goid was the beach view. Wouldn't stay here again myself.

The view of beach and ocean were fine. Very little parking, had to ask staff where to park bc there wasn’t any available after we grabbed dinner, so they sent us to a parking lot across the street. Room appeared clean, but the floor felt dirty when walking on it and their were roaches, my husband killed 3 and saw other dead ones when he started looking under the bed and behind the light fixture in the bathroom. Sheets were scratchy, and walls were very thin as we could hear everyone in the rooms on either side and above us. Staff was not in the office at this hotel, but they were at the office to the hotel beside this one. We knew it wasn’t going to be anything grand due to the price, however the reviews I read were misleading as it sounded like it would be clean and it wasn’t as clean as we had anticipated.

Clean room, rusted appliances, shower was so short we had to bend over a bit to wash our hair, carpet was grimy and had giant thick stains but aside from that every thing else was okay.

Do not rent to locals and don’t say that anywhere on your site!

This is an old landmark but it is an oldie and not bad at all. Decent place great staff and beautiful views.

Location was ideal and the staff were GREAT but the building is old so things like the door locks were bad and the hot water knob kept falling off and there's no rugs to help catch any of the sand so i was sweeping constantly.

Dislike: a couple roaches in the room.

Simply put it’s a dump. On their website they sell rooms for 40 to 60 dollars. Travelocity doubled the price and make money on the BS reviews. 3 or 4 properties were condemned around this “jem” horrible horrible situation. I’m very disappointed with Travelocity for recommending this property. I have pictures to prove my case.

Excellent customer service. Rooms are not super clean and lots of repairs are needed but it’s cheap and convenient, right on the beach and boardwalk.

The pool was filthy and we had some bugs in the bathroom. Should not have chosen the more expensive “ocean view” room. The “balcony” was moldy from the air conditioner above our room and there were vines growing all over it. Not conducive to sitting out there to enjoy the ocean view.

Hair on bed sheets, vinyl flooring was damp and sticky, cockroach on floor, no pressure at all in bathroom sink, looked to be mold growing in ac unit as well as ceiling vent in bathroom. Pros? Lady at front desk was nice and good view and beach access. Couldnt pay me to stay there again though. Booked 4 nights left after 1.

The only really complaint was the parking was limited. But over all everything was great!

Love the location and price! Our room looked out onto the beach and it was a block to the beach. Property management was friendly and helpful! The property itself is old and tired. Fan in the bathroom didn’t work, neither did the coffee maker, plastic chairs on the balcony and peeling paint: it needed a paint job inside and out. There were no amenities like shampoo, tissues, hair dyer and the floor was sandy.

The property and room need serious repairs and upgrades.

Overall for the price I paid for four nights I was actually impressed. We did have problems with the room key cards. We had to get new ones each day. I would definitely stay again.

Very economical, standard beach vacay spot. Nice proximity to everything Myrtle Beach! Friendly staff. Far enough way from the riff raff but close enough to stroll down the strip if wanted.

This motel is great for its price. We had the ocean view room on the third floor and we were able to see the ocean and palm trees around. Great stay, wonderful memories and pleasant staff.

The only problem i had was no elevator. I have copd and it was hard on me climbing 3 flights of stairs for 4 days. Loading and unloading was a job in itself. Other than that i had a VERY private room. I loved the privacy on the boardwalk balcony. Hint get room 310 but be able to climb stairs theres no elevator to easily unload and load your luggage coolers chairs etc.

I wasn't expecting much bc of the price, and it being a motel. The pictures showed an out of date room with an old box tv. I was extremely surprised to walk in to a clean, updated, decent size room with a refrigerator, microwave, cooking pots/pans, dishes/silverware and even a stove with an oven(although the oven is quite small). The cleaning staff were always amazingly kind and pleasant. The fact it's also right on the beach and has room options with an ocean view, makes the stay worth much more than what it costs. My wife, kids and myself had a great week there.

It was a bike week so it was very noisy /. It properly fault - but rather the culture and manners of the people who stayed over . They were noisy and banging doors at 2 am / felt very uneasy especially with drugs and smoke going on . But entire area in that street was like that . Never go during Memorial Day as the crowd that comes in have no respect for others staying there - The place is easy walk to center . They have great parking options at the heart of the boardwalk There is a property called windsurfer next to it . The same management owns that . That looked more refurbished and lot nicer . I will definitely chose their property purely because of the staff and would prefer a better building like the one next door Everywhere it smelt Maruana and that was not tolerable

The first room given to us had a broken ac, so they moved us to the first floor. Just by comparing the two, I can say that some rooms are better than others. The room they moved us to (beach view) was so much better than the one in the second floor. The staff is also friendly and accommodating. When you check in later in the evening, you will need to proceed to Windsurfer office across Admiral.

After 8 long years, I finally made it back to Myrtle Beach. We arrived on 9/24/2025. This was a birthday present for my son (32). From the minute we arrived we were treated SUPERBLY by the staff. On 9/26 we were hit by the outer bands of Hurricane Helene. We decided to stay an extra day. The office was so accommodating to our needs and gave us the best price…better than Expedia! I have a service dog and they had no problem with that nor did they charge me a “pet fee”. I will be staying there again next year for sure!! Thank you owners and staff for making this such an amazing memory filled vacation!

The room that we had reserved was not available. Scheduling mistake. The room we used was just as good. The room had plumbing issues. That wasn't a huge necessity for us.

Kitchenette was a big plus! Stove top, oven, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans! Lorrie at front desk super friendly and sweet!!!

It's a convenient location and you can walk to alot of places along the boulevard. There's no charge for parking. The staff is wonderful.

The staff is wonderful. The view of the ocean if you have a room the faces it is awesome. Easy access to the beach. Landscaping and walking path is beautiful. Pool area and pool is well kept. We had a noisy start to our vacation because of a rowdy very large group. They had left boxes and glass bottles of Corona everywhere. We almost rolled over them when we parked as they were out in the street. I cant be upset with the hotel for that because they did get onto them about it. There was also very many cigarette butts on the ground in front of our balcony on the bottom floor. Once again. Rude guests caused these. Its sad people act like that. Have fun but dont be a jerk about it.

The hotel needs major improvements, just to become a ok hotel. It is overpriced for the quality of the room. Check in was a bad experience, the lady Jo was rude. My family and I got in late, which had been previously noted and the room we were given was not correct. Switched to another room that also wasn't correct but we at least had 2 beds and it being so late we tried to make it work. But we had to sweep the floor cause there was trash all on the floor, the bathroom we had to clean and there were bugs in the sink and tub. We made it through the weekend because the beds were at least clean and comfortable. Also because of the oceanfront/location. If we had planned on staying more than 1 full day I would have checked out that 1st morning and found a better place to stay for my family.

Staff was great. Facility is dated on the outside but great and up to date on the inside. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Great location, only steps from the beach and within walking distance from attractions. The room was not the cleanest and was outdated but was large enough for a group of 4 comfortably. It was nice to have a full sized refrigerator and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Another plus was access to the pool not only at the inn but at the neighboring motel's 2 pools and hot tub since they own both properties.

I was then moved into a different room, This second room was better but I had no WiFi for the rest of the trip. Terrible experience

If you want a place to stay by the ocean don’t look any further.I just spent four days at this establishment and enjoyed my stay immensely.The price was more than reasonable and we had one hot tub and three pools to share.The room was clean and the front desk was open 24 hours.

At first I was worried after some negative review, but when I went there; it was a really nice place. No hassles with front desk, rooms were nice. It’s not the 5 star hotel, but that’s because it doesn’t have luxury. The hotel was clean; quiet; space is adequate; great balcony with the ocean view and staff was friendly. From doing extensive reading, we came to this hotel with full understanding that it is a two star accommodation. The staff was friendly and did help when the door cards weren't working. Even so, the rooms are dated and need serious freshening up. The air conditioner was cold, but noisy. The refrigerator sounded like a tank. Will you get a good night's rest ? The bed was comfy, even if the douvet and sheets were in need of replacement. In the end, if you need to save some money and can handle low level hotels, well, it is what it is. Oh and we did see one small roach. Was dead already. Maybe that deserve an extra star ?

The lady that checked us in was great a former runner so we chatted during check in. No issues we needed a towel or anything for the room housekeeping was on it. Older property but very clean. Every thing in good order. Good view from the balcony. Will stay again.

The staff were great and even refunded a night when we needed to leave early. The place is run down and dirty though. Homeless live right near the property and three properties next door and across the road are boarded up and infested.

Overall, it’s a decent spot for the price! The location makes it worth it. Staff aren’t the friendliest. The included parking is very limited, there is a gravel overflow lot kitty corner across the road that is also very limited!! Their standard of clean definitely isn’t clean, clean but just don’t look too close and spend your time at the beach! Water doesn’t get cold from the tap. New apartment sized fridge in the room. No coffee or filters for the coffee maker so bring your own if you want coffee :)

I was very impressed by the staff- from Ms. Joe who checked us in to the housekeeper, everyone was friendly, helpful, and ready at any time to help. The rooms were very clean!! You can tell the staff really care about their jobs and it's so appreciated. Free parking with immediate beach access at an affordable price. I am grateful. My only con was that the beds were so terribly uncomfortable. Otherwise we'd gladly stay again.

overflow parking a couple of blocks away. My car was towed and it cost me $166.00 + a mile and a half walk to get it out of impound. All this because I was not informed of the available parking lot down the street.

I love that the pool was right there and beach was so close, not a far walk.

Looks like a run down motel, but the room was nice except for the bathroom, which needs serious updating. But you can’t beat the location on the beach for the price.

Good deal for the price; least expensive on the ocean. It is older furnishings but what they had was clean. Very convenient location. Only negative was parking spaces were very limited; seemed to have fewer spots than rooms. @half mile away some empty lots but were abandoned properties and not necessarily choice for leaving your vehicle (area a little sketch). Ideal place tho if you want beach on a budget. Just dont give up your prkg spot once you land there.

This is a much older motel so of course its not in the greatest shape, but the room was clean and the beds were clean and decently comfortable for a few night stay. Its a budget motel right on the beach! Sliding glass doors in rough shape, pools could use a good cleaning, but it's right on the boardwalk and a ten minute walk to the skywheel. Parking can be a pain sometimes.

I will say for the motel being an older place that has been there for years, I was very pleased at the cleanliness of the room, cleanliness of the pool. The staff was very nice. Very convenient and close to the beach. I would absolutely go there again

Great staff, location, and amenities

Floor was dirty. Room had a musty smell. No hangers for clothes. No towel rack in bathroom. Shower knob did not work. Guests in floor below blasted a radio with speaker out on porch until early morning hours. Staff was no help. We left a day early.

I had stayed 39 plus Nights Since Mar 20 2024.::I have Health issues and needed handicap parking, ground Floor, was on the beach. It was Great Until !! Without Cause my Reservations WERE BEING CANCELLED !!!!! With all the Competition in Myrtle Beach why Would you Turn away Paying Guest whom Had No Issues. Requested to Speak to Owner No Response

It worked and then again it locked out next day. Family’s should not go ever here, it’s dangerous, they just watch and let others play music loud. A guy who was threatening others and playing loud music was arrested at night. Room has no working microwave or TV, mold everywhere, shower is should height, what on earth that is, incorrect posting no partial ocean view. Spent a-lot on room, got nothing but regret and left the place very next day. Completely ridiculous.

Desk staff rude and judgy. Lazy… we had to basically run them down to get any help. Bugs, hair, spider webs which means live spiders. Short staffed so had to walk or drive if space was available to hotel next door. Sliding glass door broke took all my strength to open and close it. Broken lamp and fire shot out of electrical outlet beside bed.

Had stayed at this motel many Nites since late March. Was very content. I cared and cleaned my room. Requiring no service. My reservations have been Since Last week been Cancelled without Cause. Had Several reservations made for May and June have also Cancelled Without Cause.

Great value for the money. No elevator no ice machines. Clean room, just needs a little up keep. Parking is a challenge!!! My vehicle was towed. Great location, easy walk to the boardwalk. Easy check in. View altered by palm trees on 2nd floor. I would stay again.

Hotel is rated as explicit guess per the cost. Location was fantastic though. Which is a shame because it could be a lot better with some upkeep. Hotel refrigerator was the loudest I’ve ever heard in my 57 years. Did see 1 bug when I got there, the unnerving part is it was the King Kong of bugs… frigging huge. Parking became an issue at times and had to go to secondary lot 2 blocks away

Great Stay! Very Clean Comfortable and Safe

Wonderful location right on the boardwalk with an ocean view from the balcony side. Front desk receptionist was very friendly and so was the housekeeping staff. Tons of restaurants and bars within a few block’s including Wicked Tuna and 2nd Ave Pier. BUT…the room could have used a good scrub and some handyman work. If you don’t care about luxury then it’s a great, inexpensive option.

Well, they have free parking, I could see the beach from my room, and the bed was comfortable. However, the WiFi was terrible…. I had about 1 bar of signal and it kept kicking me off. Also there’s no elevator and I was on the third floor. The front desk is closed after hours and you have to check in at the motel next door but the lady at the desk wasn’t very professional. It’s cheap though and close to the airport. You get what you pay for.

It was just an overnight stay. The room was very clean and well stocked with towels and such. Nice kitchenette. Fully stocked. Ocean front and the board walk was literally at the back of the hotel. Great location and friendly staff.

The hotel is surrounded by abandoned hotels and homeless people were noticed around Hotel and street in front. I won't go back...but it was a good value overall.
