Cockroaches in room, pull out bed broken, air conditioning not working and didn’t have beach access. Parking was a nightmare and extra charge. Room was the 2 bedroom penthouse

Location was perfect, right there on broadway, the beach wasn’t too far of a drive, close to many fun places. The people at the front desk were so friendly! The breakfast was amazing they had so many options. The only reason I can’t rate it a perfect 10 is because on the website it says they had one heated indoor pool… & we got it for that reason for just in case weather was chilly… & when we went to try it, the water was chilly… come to find the ROOM the pool is in is heated… not the actual pool water… a little misleading…. :(

This was a great place for us seniors who have mobility issues. There was so much to see and do in that area. Parking was convenient, the only issue we had was, the desk chair in our rooms couldn’t be lifted for more comfortable seating. We reported to desk, but not ever corrected, so my husband had to sit in it, as I would not be able to get up from it.

Staff is very helpful and pleasant. This was a family trip with my yorkie. Room was clean and spacious. A little inconvenient that there was only one elevator the we could use as the other one was being worked on and it took forever

Our room was good and clean however one of the elevators was out and the other was sooo slow because we were given a top floor (8th floor) room. Wasted so much time waiting on the elevator. Also the indoor pool was supposed to be heated but it was ice cold. Other guests we talked too also were upset about the pool. I told the front desk and they had maintenance shock it and try to fix the heater but it didn't work. I purposely picked this hotel because they are pet friendly and had an indoor heated pool. Felt really let down about the pool. Would not have stayed here if we would have known about the pool.

Parking is kinda tight with people not staying at the hotel taking up space. One of the Elevators not working kinda put a strain on moving around with alot of stuff. I understand about quick turnaround but a little more attention to detail on the smaller things will get a better rating.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this location. Everything was at our fingertips.

The hotel is located in a really fun, family friendly area w tons of shops, restaurants and activities to do. Overall I would stay here again because it was inexpensive, in a great location and the staff was very friendly.

The staff were very nice and kind, but room was smelled bad, it look like wet, the elevator was out of service, you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get into elevator. Overall it was a great location.

Staff was very nice at check in. I feel like a 4pm check in is very late though. The breakfast was fantastic. The view on the lake side is exceptional but just be prepared for the noise from the band playing at the Hangout nightly. They usually quite down about 9-10 pm. We are actually going to plan another trip back with the grandboys because there is so much to do at broadway to keep them entertained. A fantastic spot for that, no need to even leave.

Overall the stay here was pleasant. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were not the cleanest if I’m being quite honest. The carpets left our socks black on the bottom and the room had a musty odor when walking in. A/C was nice and cold. Showers worked well. Had to call the front desk to service the room on the second day (my wife and I stayed for three nights with two kids) Parking was very convenient. Breakfast selection was very good for an included breakfast.

The handicap bathroom would be too dangerous for someone with mobility issues. The shower curtain didn’t go all the way to the floor, and the water sprayed everywhere on the bathroom floor, creating a very dangerous situation. Also, the air unit looked very dirty. However, I love the back access straight to Broadway at the beach.

Only one balcony per floor over the lake we requested but with an 85$ up charge. . We got stuck with the parking lot view and the blinds don’t shut all the way due to hvac system right under the window. Twas an early morning Super breakfast … pools looked good.. fix the blinds..

The front desk could be a lot nicer. A smile goes a long way.. the rudest we encountered on our trip. One elevator was down for upgrades..

Friendly Staff, clean rooms, convenient location.

We stay every year the day after Christmas. It’s never crowded, so we normally show up a little early. They wanted to charge $75 for “early check in” even though the room was ready. No thanks. We are also Hilton honors members for many years. One elevator was being “updated”..no big deal - but everything at this point needs to be updated. Also had no shampoo and barely any soap in our bathroom, something you would think housekeeping would check. Anyways - we’ll probably end up coming back next year as usual since it is a great location being part of Broadway at the Beach…but prior years the staff has been a lot nicer (like letting us check in early without paying $75)…if this was a very nice hotel I can understand, but wanting $75 after our room is ready and in these poor conditions…feels like they should of just let us in. Oh well.

Staff was not friendly. I reported that our pullout couch was broken and they didn’t address it or offer to do anything. When I asked if someone could fix it, they said they would send maintenance. Maintenance never came. We could not use the couch.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel! It sits right at Broadway at the Beach. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was typical for a hotel continental breakfast. The only two negatives were that there is no longer a hot tub (which was still advertised under ammenities) and the hot water for the shower was luke warm, if even that.

Booked for my daughter and her husband anniversary weekend and they loved it. Staff was great too them which was great because they were traveling with infant. So worth the money for them to have a nice room and great service

Front desk staff was extra helpful and considerate. They gave me directions to my business meeting and made copies of a few documents I needed. They were friendly and made the stay very pleasant. I didn’t get their names but they were there at 4:00 check-in on 11/30 and 6:15 breakfast time on 12/1.

The only thing which keeps me from rating the experience as excellent was the blasting music from Margaritaville until 10:00 P.M. We could not even hear the television. If we cannot be guaranteed a room on the other side of the hotel the next time we visit the area, we will not stay with you again.

The only complaint would be the pillows they were awful.

The hotel was okay, however, it desperately needs upgrades. The restrooms and flooring especially. I was not comfortable taking a shower. I also did not know pets were allowed until I arrived. I was very itchy while sleeping because I just knew people had their pets in those beds. It is just my personal preference not to be in a hotel that allows pets. Once I learned that pets were allowed, I just knew I would not be comfortable there, and I wasn’t. The other issue was that some of the guests were extremely loud late at night in the adjoining room. This is not the hotel’s fault but those individuals were also smoking illegal drugs that could be smelled out in the hallway. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not very good either. The hotel was definitely not worth $215 per night.

Great location - restaurants and shopping right outside the door! The place is a little run down - threadbare rugs in entries and hallways. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent. What made the stay less pleasant was the noise throughout the room and hotel. The room’s air conditioner noise made me feel like I was on the flightline. The noise of water running through the pipes was annoying. Banging doors completed the experience. I was also not aware that power washing of the exterior was going to be happening during my stay causing some areas to be closed off. I had a cleaner directly outside my 6th floor window when I went to change clothes. One of the elevators (there were only two) was shut down the entire week. Hotels should always make travelers aware of any major maintenance or construction projects. I usually like Hilton properties, but this was subpar.

The most unfriendly staff I’ve ever dealt with parking is horrible no disabled parking at all construction is loud and you have to keep moving your car bedding very old hard as a rock nasty!!!

They cancelled my room and blamed it on Hotels.com. Except my room wasnt cancelled. Hotels still showed i had a reservation. I had paid in full. I had to pay AGAIN to stay there. Then didnt refund my money from the first reservation.

We had a flight delay and no toiletries with us so their complimentary items came in handy. The hotel itself was nice. The complimentary breakfast was good and had a variety of options. The room was clean. We have stayed here before and it was just as good.

Airport shuttle was great, room was clean and big. Area around was awesome for kids and not have to rent a car. I’ve been a guest a couple of times at this facility. This time was different. I was on the 6th floor. The elevators hadn’t been wiped down or cleaned which looked like forever. The carpet needs cleaning if not replaced. The main floors were up to par of course. I really enjoyed my last visit and was very disappointed in the up keep on the hotel on this visit. The cleanliness was not there and I was concerned about the germs. I understand people are on and off the elevators quite often but this was a different type of dirtiness. Overall disappointed but love the location.

My husband and I stayed a night here on our way to Orlando. We came back after our Orlando trip because we left some very expensive watches we'd gotten each other for our anniversary. The staff turned our watches in. There are still good people in this world. The staff is always so polite and helpful. Thank you Christine for being honest.

My husband and I traveled throughout Myrtle Beach, ate ourselves silly, shopped, and are looking forward to returning soon. FYI - There are lots of eateries (at all price ranges and tastes), activities for couples and families, and something for everyone at Broadway at the Beach!

The property was nice. However they were unable to meet my handicapped needs even though i called the week prior to our arrival and verified they could. Because the room was not handicap accessible it was very difficult to move within the room with my wheelchair. They only clean every other day and never changed our sheets during our stay. The personnel at the front desk were unconcerned with my handicap needs. I was very disappointed in this Hampton. Considering what the room cost their personnel were horrible at customer service.

Great location. We were feet away from shopping, activities and dancing.

My room was cool. Saw lots of dust on plugs, and the phone to the front desk wasn’t working. I chose this hotel because it had an outdoor and indoor pool. It started thundering and I didn’t know they will close the indoor pool because of the thunder. Front desk told me that the storms has to be 20miles away from the hotel. When it stopped they didn’t open the indoor pool for the remainder of the night. Very upsetting. So just be mindful with that especially if you are traveling with children who looks forward to the pool.

The rooms were decent, and the beds were comfortable, but the bathrooms and showers felt outdated. The front desk staff was not helpful, and the receptionist seemed annoyed that I booked through Expedia. The hotel has an airport shuttle, but it seems to be used at the staff’s discretion—I was told they couldn’t accommodate me. Overall, not the best experience.

Everything for our trip was great except the water temperature at the hotel. We stayed 3 nights. First night was fine and the next two nights the hot water was not hot at all. We took very fast cold showers.

Went there for one day and had no pool or hot tub, noise was off the chain. I have been a customer of Hilton honors for over 20 years and this by far was the worst. The hotel was filthy and the room was also in the same shape.

Our stay was averagely okay, but breakfast was too ordinary. The indoor pool was drained and not available for use. Bottled water was not provided in the rooms. I expected better. Hopefully they can improve on these things. Other than that, we slept well and felt safe.

The downsides - the indoor pool was closed and will be for a month or so (until Mid March 2025 FWIU). We were looking forward to using it with some friends. The breakfast buffet was not as good as I usually find at Hampton Inn. The selection wasn't terrible. The quality of the food just wasn't there. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The public sitting area is nice and the fake fireplaces are a fun place to hang on a cold evening.

Normally at previous stays. It was great. But this stay was not. The front staff and maintenance person did not treat me and my family nice and blamed us for an issue there. Also the inside pool and hot tub was not in service.

Very disappointed to find the pool empty after telling my grandson he’d be able to swim. A heads up would have been amazing. We wouldn’t have packing bathing suits, flip flops and puddle jumper. Ac/heater in our room made a weird vibrating noise that kept us awake. Their breakfast and location saved the trip from complete failure. I expressed all this at check out and only got I’m very sorry no offer of any compensation.

Was wonderful, was on second floor still had nice view of the lake. You Can literally walk right out to broadway. So convenient. When we were done walking around we just walked right up to the hotel and was in our room in just minutes. Clean rooms and friendly staff , and good free breakfast. Hotel was clean but the bed was miserably uncomfortable. The curtains to cover the window didn’t close all the way and I was on the ground floor so people could see into my room easily. Very unsettling. Breakfast was hot and plentiful but I wasn’t a fan of anything they served. I ate toast every day lol. Location was great.

Hotel location is excellent right on the boardwalk. Indoor pool was not working and empty at the time of our stay. Although the sports complex is very very close it’s not really easy walk to the venue.

Counter clerk put key cards on counter and said elevator around the corner, we were on floor two already and didn’t need said elevator so just let us know which direction. No word on morning breakfast and the hours served, no mention of checkout time. Other than him the hotel is very nice and conveniently located at the Boardwalk

Decor throughout was very good and well maintained. Buffet breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of juices, cereals, breads and hot items too. There were make them yourself waffles which were really good. Friendly staff at check in and check out - all in all a good place to stay!

Would have liked more of an overview of amenities such as letting me know the pool was closed and what time breakfast is. I had to ask all the questions.

Usually stay at this hotel in a suite when I visit Myrtle Beach but no suites were available so I went with a regular room. The bed was hard & uncomfortable & so were the pillows but the hotel itself I absolutely love & going to continue to stay here if im unable to get a suite EVERY-TIME I book here then I will just wait until a suite becomes available.

Stayed in room 202. Constant noise from rolling suitcases and carts from desk to elevators. Really needed a nap in the afternoon. Not a chance. Why would this area not be carpet? Won’t be back to this property.

Nice and breakfast was great.

The location is great. The window was not sealed, and it was cold last night. We used washcloths to cover the top of the window to stop the chilly air. Our room was in the parking lot, and loud automobiles were busy before daybreak. A previous guest set the alarm clock for 5:00 am, which was a shocker. The king-size bed sheet was fitted but did not stay on the bed in the top right corner. So, it felt kinda cheap. The pillows were also not firm, so my neck was in a creak the next morning. The wall unit heat/air ran all night and was loud. It was not a great sleep, but overall, it was a convenient location with friendly staff.

Very disappointed with the staff at the front desk. Not very polite and we didn't know the pool and hot tub was closed until we checked in. If we knew that ahead of time, would have booked somewhere else.

It is a nice place but I didn't feel that it was the usual Hampton Inn quality. Great for walking to Broadway on the Beach. The indoor pool was closed and the outdoor pool wasn't heated.

Our soccer team was here for a tournament and everything was amazing at this Hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming with all the players we had there. The boardwalk was very convenient and fun for all ages!!

This is a great hotel near Broadway at the Beach. Lots of parking and a good value very safe area.

This hotel is one of my favorite places to stay at the beach. It is on the Broadway at the beach area and very convenient. I think this is a great value and location.

Very nice place

Great location if you want to listen to loud music and parties all night! Personally I wanted some sleep, but that didn’t happen- too bad since the bed is very comfortable. Also - what hotel opens their pool up at 10am? I wanted to go for a swim in the morning before checking out, but this is one of those hotels with an 11am check out (4pm check in) which is annoying.

Truly a superb hotel, staff and amenities. Loved the location.

The night shift person was rude! When I checked in at 10pm I was told that the coffee was available all night. Later went down stairs got a cup of coffee and it was cold. Told the man at the desk and was told there was a microwave in my room to warm it up there. Well if I wanted to make coffee in my room I would have but I was going to walk outside and thought I would enjoy a walk and a cup of coffee not have to go back upstairs to warm it up. I don’t tolerate rudeness well!

Right smack in the middle of summertime activity at Broadway at the Beach. Pools were great. Our room was quiet. Nice little vacation!

In general everything is fine, they should only improve the cleanliness of the rooms.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. My room wasn’t super clean as there was hair on the floor. I didn’t complain since it was a short stay.

I love everything about the hotel and the surrounding outings all around and Definitely the boardwalk with all the events.

I booked 1 double queen lakeview room a month before the stay via Expedia. 2 weeks later I called the hotel directly and booked an additional King lakeview with the condition that it was adjoining to the double queen room. The agent confirmed it was. However, upon arrival, i was told it was not. I accepted the bteach of trust because i had no other choice. I feel scammed.

Staff is friendly, lobby is welcoming, breakfast is good, but if the previous reviews were just based on that then they are misleading. The room was unkept, there was mold, rust, holes in the bathroom wall, the sink in the bathroom disnt drain properly, the AC Unit controls did not work, the door outside of the fridge was broken, and it smelt musty in the room. The cholorine in the indoor pool was so bad that just from sitting (not getting in the pool) your eyes burned. This hotel is on the boardwalk which is a plus if you want to do things but the quality of the rooms are not it.

Front desk staff was wonderful. They were so nice. Cleaning was sub par up until the last day. Room was not cleaned thoroughly. Requests were not answered quickly or accurately.

The AC did not work in our room and it was 74°f in the room when it was 85° outside. Hotel is not in the best condition. Staff was super friendly and very helpful.

We loved this location! It was super convenient to broadway at the beach. Very clean: room was spacious with a greta view. Breakfast was good too!!

They really outdo themselves as far as staying on top of the grounds making sure everybody is happy. They can’t do enough for you and when you walking, you feel how clean it is you don’t get that by the shore dirty feeling you get in most places it really is five stars, and I am a pain in you know and I am extremely picky and I travel constantly and I stay all over the United States and this by far is my favorite

My first time ther and it was fantastic. I would recommend this property to anyone. Great time.

Very enjoyable, clean and comfortable.

The garbage cans were left overflowing daily. I asked for our room to be cleaned and the shower containers to be refilled and this was never done.

The fridge had brown liquid in it when I opened it. They would not give us a clean room. We had just checked in and took hours to come clean it up.

This place blew us away, the service was second to none. It all started with Patrick at the front desk, what a great representation of your hotel. I really can’t say enough about him, the staff , the breakfast, our whole experience was incredible.

Love location. Love pools. Hotel a bit dated. Breakfast decent.

Really clean and great place

Excellent two day stay. Randy at the Front Desk was exceptional with insuring that out room guaranteed our best stay ever. Staff were professional and friendly. Facilities were great and location was perfect. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Cons: The 3rd floor hallway smelled like someone threw up. The AC did not have a constant fan option to help drown out noisy neighbors who decided to talk after midnight and wake up around 7 AM. Had to turn on the bathroom fan to help reduce the noise. Walls are very thin. The room didn’t feel super clean. Bed wasn’t comfortable.

Great hotel for a stay at broadway- but hotel needs a revamp…. Air conditioner was noisy all night, shower curtain kept in nothing- too short on either end, hallways smell like old locker room.

This was a great family safe environment.
