Clean room and nice staff

The Super 8 was a great place to stay. The light breakfast was satisfying. The staff provided new towels on request. The bed covers were a bit thin for my comfort. The room did feel slightly cold during the first nights sleep.

Every night I stayed there I was woken up to people coming in at all hours of the night or early morning shall I say, arguing and fighting with a spouse, and trying to come in my room with their key card. Also animals barking all day long and the smell of weed everyday I stayed. I will never stay there again. I complained about multiple things and the staff did absolutely nothing. The room was not cleaned before it was given to me, there was someone else’s hair left in the shower and the bed was missing the blanket and cigarette burn holes in the thing that goes on top of the blanket. The breakfast was bs, the only good thing they had was the waffles. Who puts out oatmeal pies for breakfast lmao? This place is ridiculous and nothing but addicts in and out.

The beds were comfortable The room reeked of pine sol? I took a towel and wet it and wiped over the floors because I thought they might have just mopped. The towel was black with dirt. The smell never left. We never showered..Just slept and left. The elevator is outside the sliding doors. Anyone could get in. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a scary place.

I booked this room for my daughter's online. After paying, the next screen was confirming my order and said "no other payments are due." They go to check in and the receptionist tried to require an additional $100 deposit since I was not there. She had an attitude with them and when I tried to explain over the phone the site said I did not have to be present bc I selected it was for someome else and the site said nothing further was due. She still refused and wouldn't refund my money Staff

I skipped breakfast. I didn’t see anything I liked. I reported a rat I saw by the soda machine out front and the clerk chased it away with a broom. The ice machine on the 2nd floor didn’t work. The room was clean and checked everyday. The price was good. A/C worked fine. Strong marijuana smells came fien the hall and was in the elevator each day.

They say "you get what you pay for" well this property is just aweful from the first minute you walk in. Very dirty. Got into room no carpet which is fine but the floor was dirty sticky with hair and crumbs. The bathroom was disgusting. Hair on the floor in shower and on towels. Shower curtain rod broke so curtain stayed in middle of rod and the floor got soaked. The coffee maker was so dirty and sticky wth incomplete items to even make coffee . 0 out of 10

If you’re looking for something affordable this is it, don’t expect none to much at all . Breakfast was simple . On a tight budget this will do

The lady on duty was super nice and respectful. She does an excellent job with what they go her to work with.

Yes, small pet fee, staff cut it in half because my stay was a week long. Washed and dryer if you need it, staff can break a bill for you, but you do need your own detergent and stuff. No complaints, included breakfast is offered but it closes by 9am, so never tried it.

I was laying in bed and had the door opened as they didn't know the room was rented. Was very noisy and hard to sleep

TV was not working and had to call staff up twice to fix. 2nd person made it seem like I was the problem because I turned the TV off at night. Covers were thin and more like a sheet. Got what we paid for I guess. Good thing we didn’t spend too much time in room during stay.

The room was comfortable and clean. Everything was great except My only concern was about the breakfast. The milk was rotten, I had the waffles, but used the milk in the refrigerator and ended up getting sick, I believe it was from the spoiled milk.

Generally a great experience

My room was very comfortable and clean however the phone did not work and the TV service had to continually be reset. Staff was very helpful and friendly .....especially Natalie the front desk clerk! She was upbeat and full of smiles! A pleasure to be around and definitely a positive asset to this hotel! I will definitely use this hotel again.

Rooms with black mold, smelled of smoke, uncleaned prior to check in. Staff understanding when asked for fill refund and not staying ther but unconcerned when told of black mold, stated we just paint over it

The smell of mold and mildew greets you at the door. This hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt. It’s old and outdated, smells of mold and mildew.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us as we wanted to be off the beach. It was very easy to access all of the locations that we wanted to go.

I was grateful for planning in advance and the rate was amazing for the time we stayed. The breakfast offered was just waffles and cereal and can improve for a better perk, there were several dogs on the floor with fleas and a lot of barking, not sure if the flea issue was addressed after checking out. The minor issues experienced was addressed immediately. Overall, for the price, I would book again. Thank you for your service and hospitality.

It was okay they need to improve their breakfast. The shower knob fell off and the shower head was coming off the wall.

Check in was a little rough. Staff member was rude and kept talking over me and Interrupting my questions. After mamger got invovled, all was good. Besides that only complaint was more towels were needed, especially being we didnt get any for the pool. Front desk said they didnt have any. House keeper told us she was out.

We just needed a clean, comfortable place to stay for the night and this place is just that. Front desk was nice, breakfast was nice & quiet. Beds were comfy. The bathroom was clean, all I could ask for. Wifi worked fine. If you simply need a room when traveling here without spending way too much money, this place is it. Would recommend & if we return, we’ll be staying here.

It was not clean. Noisy at night, people yelling and dogs barking. Sketchy people hanging around outside. No forks for breakfast, not much breakfast choice. Way too expensive for what you get! We would never go back!

One of the cleanest places I've ever stayed at Myrtle Beach, SC on such short notice.

The room was not very clean at all and had many issues in the bathroom and throughout the room. Cannot believe that this is owned by Wyndam. We had no choice of another room or hotel due to how busy and booked the area was. So, we tolerated it for the time we spent in the room. We were visiting family in the area and did not stay in the room except to shower, sleep and rest between things.

The hotel was decent for a night stay. The lady that worked night shift she was very friendly but the white lady that worked the next morning is a racist , rude and bad attitude person. She kept screaming at guests who were not white and gave them attitude problems. If she is to be there please stay away.

Bed bugs cigarette burns in the beds and sheets there was poop and pee all over the toilet no air conditioning

Very poor water pressure in the bathroom. Toilet was difficult to flush. Had to hold down the handle till all was flushed. The bed-covering had multiple small holes all over. Looked like cigarette burns.

So the entire first floor needs to only be used for people that are living in this hotel and if any staff needs to stay the night, the noise level on the first floor is outrageous, and the people that are living in the hotel are seem to be put up on higher floors, so they won’t become a problem but putting guest on the first floor is a No loud noise the floor, where you can hear TVs running at 4am people talking on the phones Literally waking you up after your sleep is terrible. Do not if you are gonna stay at this hotel, absolutely do not stay on the first floor. This floor is separated from all the other floors you have to go get in the elevator to get to the other floors and that should have them move me on the first day.

The super 8 was very clean. The only thing I did not like was being woken up every morning between 730 and 745 by housekeeping as they were slamming doors and someImes playing music loud enough while cleaning, that would wake you up.

My family of 4 stayed for 4 nights. The free breakfast needs some help as they only offered waffles, toast, cereal and apples. Considering the cost of the room, though, I was actually pleasantly surprised with our stay. Staff was friendly. We received clean towels every day. Room was clean. Would definitely stay again!

Toilet very short, difficult getting to tub control, slippery tub.

Floors disgusting and breakfast is a joke. Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone.

The hotel room was nice but the addicts all over the place was disturbing I had to get a room change because they were going in and out of the room every couple of seconds no exaggeration at all unfortunately, it was scary ah, I put something under the door because I suspect that they know how to get in the room while people are sleeping, I thought I heard something hit the metal bar I put under the door while I was in the shower because I was traveling alone, I shouted at the door and it stopped and it didn’t happen again thank God. Other than the drug addicts all over the place it’s a nice clean room.

The room smelled like urine very bad when we checked in. The guests were very noisy with allowing doors to slam shut and kids running up and down the hallway yelling. Not a nice stay. I would think twice about staying here again.

I didn’t like my welcome. When I arrived at the property the person at the desk was asleep. Then she was very rude to me when I asked why we heard an alarm and the fire truck was outside. Not sure what her deal is , if u don’t like people u shouldn’t work with them. She is why I give the bad rating. Get rid of her and have 5 stars. We were worried and she blew us off even after coming down from our room to ask. Shame there has to be some one bad egg

Smell like mold you could tell they had painted or washed it to get it off but you still have the mold smell it was horrible as soon as you walked in the door to the room about knocked you down with a smell it was an old building so I figured you know normal but I want my nose started bleeding throat started closing up it was time to go talk to the guy downstairs he did not understand me I did not understand him he talked a little bit of English says about it they want to talk to this lady she said everybody talked English well he did not apparently so she got hateful with me and my daughter left her shoes up there we asked if we could go up there and get them and she said no I had to call the next day and talk to this guy to see if the maid service found her shoes which they did and was able to get her shoes back with an attitude problem from the front desk lady worst hotel ever I've ever stayed at will never go back to Super 8 in Myrtle Beach South Carolina

All vents were extremely dirty, dust everywhere, terrible smell, sheets felt greasy.

The room was musty and muggy. The covers on the bed were no thicker than a sheet. The water pressure was very low. There were cigarette holes in the bed, coverings. There were holes in the shower curtain and the water came out all over the floor. The tissue box was cracked. The place where you put your luggage as soon as I opened it the paint was just chipping off and falling all over the floor. The TV was big, but when you turned it on, you could barely see the picture, there was nothing but snow. The beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was nothing. There was cereal all over the floor and a couple of little Debbie oatmeal cookies and that was it so we skipped breakfast and left early. People were very noisy at all hours of the night and so we could not wait to leave. We will never ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone else.

It's a simple hotel, but the cleanliness was very poor. The floor was sticky, and it didn't seem like they had prepared the room for the next guest. The location is good, but I would not stay there again.

Every night was several dogs continually barking. There was a little dog yapping constantly till late at night and I thought that was bad, till the big dog started barking super loudly.

Liked the nice and clean hotel. The pool was kind of small and they kept no pool towels out by the pool. Breakfast was okay but mostly ding dongs and twinkies. No yogurt or waffle makers.
