It needs some work, but easy to park. Needs nightstand for both sodes of bed.

Great location Outdated, look of not being clean, grounds and pool were very unkept. Owner said they were upgrading soon, but it looked as though they had just given up. The bed was comfortable, and location was great. Pool was so dirty we almost didn’t get in.

The location was great! Close to restaurants, coffee and an easy drive to Broadway at the beach. The staff were super friendly Slightly outdated, still very comfortable.

The friendly service at the front desk. So accommodating for us! The pool is definitely not clear.

The staff went over and beyond and made nice swan towels for our room and bed for our anniversary. They were accommodating as much as they could be with the deteriorating conditions of the hotel. This is a prime location and a little bit of upkeep and modernizing would go a long way. The vent to the air was completely off entering the room. We notified the front office and they said it would be fixed. We stayed two nights and it was never fixed due to the maintenance person not being available. The furniture was so outdated and rusty. The balcony was a nice view.

There was a musty smell in the elevator and a few cosmetic issues in the room could be addressed. These were all minor compared to the things we loved.

The staff was so friendly and nice! The room was extremely clean, I think the room floors just need to be steamed and cleaned a little more. Overall I loved my stay and I would definitely recommend them to any and everyone staying in Myrtle beach

It smelled real good

The room was outdated and dirty. The metal on the furniture was all rusted. There was no kitchen. The room smelled and the balcony furniture was made for children and was completely covered in rust. We stayed for two hours and left having to waste an evening finding a new hotel to stay at. Wouldnt ever go back

At the beginning of my stay I was not impressed with the booking of my room since I was told we would be on a lower floor and I was told that my room was on the fifth floor. But after being in that room our trip was great a comfortable bed and an awesome view of the beach and ocean. 10 out of 10

New owners, making lots of upgrades and changes. Can't wait to go back and see next year!

Professional and clean

Under the guise of renovation as the hotel was built in 1974, the room, pool and amenities were all outdated. There was no bible, no phones, no dressers. We stayed for 4 days and had to request daily towels that we picked up at the front desk after waiting for the washing to be completed. The uber drivers all had negative comments upon pickup and drop off. We simply felt catfished. Everyone we complained to stated the we should visit North Myrtle Beach instead.

It would be nice if hotel provided umbrella and chairs higher off the ground for disabled guests. EXpedia does not list fridge with standard room. Enjoyed stay Billing error, will explain.

Furniture in room was cheap, no shades on lights over nightstand, no dresser, curtains were torn. During the night the ceiling leaked water into our room and got our shoes soaking wet.

overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I didn’t like was the shower had very little water pressure and the hot water wasn’t hot at all. It was lukewarm at best.

Close to the beach with easy access. Comfortable beds. Parking was very difficult with very few good spaces. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Amber went out of her way to help in every way.

1) mold was in the coffee pot reservoir. 2) no toilet paper in bathroom (we had a late arrival and no front desk attendant so imagine how inconvenient that was!) 3) didn't leave us a parking pass for our late arrival (luckily car was not towed) 4) batteries in tv remote were dead 5) safe did not work and was not securely fastened to a surface 6) rust in microwave 7) most importantly the manager was unapologetic and not engage a conversation to see how she could have made things better to keep our business. What I did like: 1) small hotel so didn’t have crazy amount of people 2) pool was clean and not overcrowded 3) convenient location 4) key cafe to get our keys for our late arrival was nice

The only thing good about this property was the location. The rooms were outdated and dirty. Cement ceilings. Old dirty hardwood floors that haven't been swept. The pool was not in service the entire time.

My family and I decided to go to Myrtle Beach for my daughters 15th birthday. The Beverley Beach House was a quaint hotel with great vibes, and a beautiful balcony view facing the ocean. Amber was friendly helpful and enthusiastic when encountering her in the main office. All staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I will book again for my future adventure.

There was free stuff to borrow from the office (beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, games etc). Not just a couple but a lot of them. The staff was all really great. They said there is a new owner and they are going to fix up the place. The beds and sheets were nice. Restaurants within walking distance Cons: We booked this place based on the photos. We were disappointed when we arrived that the writing on the bottom of the pool was gone. Even more disappointed to see 1) the pool was closed our last two days 2) the chemicals (that closed the pool) cleared the water up to see the writing WAS on the bottom but the water had been too gross to see it. There are a lot do updates that need to be made and a bathroom needs to be added to the first floor or better by the pool…which is prob why the water was so gross.

Ms. Amber was exceptional, warm, inviting, helpful and so friendly! They also offer a lending closet, with beach toys, chairs, and board games. No charge, just bring it back...an amazing little perk! We would definitely stay again!

Delightful staff who went out of their way to make sure we had a great vacation. We flew, so the offered boogie boards kept my boys happy and entertained. Great location for those walking too!

The entire building needed cleaning and repairs. The tub floor had chips, the wall/floor joints had openings holding dirt and mildew. The pool had much floating material and needed cleaned. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The staff was super nice. We felt safe here. Sooooo close to the beach and anything else! Definitely coming back!

The Beverly House was very nice. The staff was friendly and pleasant to talk with. Especially Amber at the front desk. She had a nice personality. We especially liked that no one knocked at your door to clean your room, in the morning which you would have to leave the room for cleaning. If you wanted the room cleaned all you had to do is ask.I would recommend the Beverly House to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the pool and the beach area. We are definitely coming back here. The view From the hotel is amazing. You can see the sea and you can hear the sound of the wave all night. But they need some work in their HVAC system and also sometimes ceiling licks. So concernt for hotel management team. Overall experience not bad.

Hotel was nice, not overcrowded, room was nice, views were great, close to the beach, parking was great There was enough shopping, restaurants within walking distance, everything else was a short drive. Latisha and Amber were super, very friendly . We would stay there again.

You’re definitely paying for the location. Loved that they let me check in early, especially after a 16 hour drive! You can tell it’s an older building that’s had some remodeling, so don’t expect the fancy resort look. My biggest issue is that whatever they use to clean the floors left them oily. Just walking on it made my feet feel dirty even when I’d just gotten out of the shower. The parking was also an hassle. It was nice to have our own designated parking, but getting out especially if you parked at the very back was nearly impossible due to the angle you have to park. Overall, it couldn’t have been a better location and the staff was fantastic!

This is a small boutique hotel. It is located on the main strip close to all of the action. You can walk or do a short drive to all the parties and bars. The receptionist Amber was amazing she was super friendly and gave us some great recommendations. Each time she saw us she made sure she spoke to us and asked if we needed anything. I would stay here again but especially because of Amber

The property was a little run down and does not compare to the photos on their website. The lady at the front desk did mention that the property was recently sold and will be completely renovated by next year so I am excited to see the new and improved hotel!

This was a great place to stay for an impromptu girls trip. The room was clean and comfortable. Access to the beach is super close and was a very easy walk. But the real star of this hotel is its staff - Lisa and Amber were both beyond helpful and accommodating when we had questions or needed help. They are a big part of the reason we’ll be back to this hotel!

The staff was very nice! We asked for early check-in, but it was a busy weekend so they couldn’t accommodate it or late check out but the way they communicated it was very nice and transparent. Upon checking in Amber greeted us and got us checked in with a smile and warm conversation. We were very disappointed we couldn’t use the pool as it had just been cleaned and the ocean water was too cold to get in so it did kind of affect our trip not being able to get into the water. Our room was very nice and clean honestly better than expected for it to be a small hotel. The room was clean. The water was hot and the pressure was great. I do not feel this hotel is walking distance from the sky wheel but is a very short drive . Free parking is so convenient at this hotel! I would definitely stay here again and recommend !

Overall, it was a nice stay and we were happy with our choice. The hotel was cute but you could tell that it was an older building that they had tried to renovate but it still showed some of the age. However, the beds and room itself was nice and suited our needs. The staff were very kind and attentive to us. We didn’t really use the pool but it looked clean (just some sand) and the lounge chairs were comfortable enough. Our only complaint was that the floor was grimy, almost like they didn’t wipe the cleaner off the floor. We just wiped it with towels and it was a lot better.

If you’re looking for a simple hotel with pretty and clean room and a beautiful beach view, then this is what I would recommend. I really loved how they designed the hotel to have a full beach view at all times, we really enjoy that, plus you have a balcony that you can go out into and enjoy the beach. There are some renovations going on at the hotel so I’m sure they’re gonna add more things and make the property even better. What I did not like is the bathroom space there’s only one sink and it is really tiny. Me and my husband could not be there at the same time because the toilet and the door to the bathroom was in the way, so it’s small. We only stayed one night so we were not looking for any amenities and if I’m going to come back for one or a couple nights, I will definitely book this hotel.

Let me start off by saying this place has definite potential if it gets some work done to it. Staff was fantastic and the cost wasnt horrible but cosmeticly it needs a lot of work. We didnt get to go in the pool but looking at how much sand was in it kinda glad we didnt.

EASY EXCESS BUT FLOORS SEEMED SLICK

Amber on front desk was very friendly upon check-in, and shared some history of the hotel with me, which was interesting to hear. The building is definitely a little old but my room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s a little more motel than hotel as the room doors open to an outside hallway rather than in hotels where you have an inside corridor. It was fine for a couple of nights but I would not necessarily want to do a longer stay due to lack of amenities like a decent size onsite store. Location was good. Overall I would recommend for a short stay.

For the price this was a great place to stay. The bed was a little bit harder than I like, but other than that I have no complaints. There was a little bit of construction going on out front and the pier nearby was shut down for construction as well, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. There’s no reason you shouldn’t stay here. We had a great view and would definitely consider staying again. Sure you could pay more and probably stay at a place a little fancier, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this place. I highly recommend it.

Place was beginning to get run down and in need of some basic maintenance. Light fixture didn’t work, peeling paint in a few spots. Front desk upon check out was clearly upset about the condition of the room. They are under “new management “ and are expecting changes. She apologized profusely and guaranteed that she would take my concerns to housekeeping immediately.

Nice clozy place, slightly dated, but readonable price and very friendly front desk staff all atoung the clock. No room service and breakfast. Good price for the week.

Our hotel was not really clean. The hot water takes a while to heat up. The staff were very nice and it’s very convenient to restaurants and shops. My only downside was it was not very clean and they are building a pier next to so Saturday morning at 7 something we were woken up by the equipment.

Everything was ok bathroom a little small but was very clean. The last day of our stay was accused of having a local druggy and other people she was with in and out of our room and was told we had to leave before he seen with his own eyes that he had the wrong ones and room! He ended up sending a message to my phone apologizing for the misunderstanding.
