Lucy is a gem. Very helpful
- 5/5
This is a hidden little gem. I will definitely go back.
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly, the inn was a beautiful property and the location was perfect!
- 5/5
We travel to Nashville often and this is one of my favorite properties we have found. The staff is so kind and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Free parking is a plus and Monell’s at the Manor is a must try restaurant right across the street! The comfort, style and community aspect of the Germantown Inn made it a fast favorite for us.
- 5/5
Lovely staff, showed us to our room and helped us get settled in. We went for a concert and got connected with other guests and ended up going together! Great place to stay, would 100% go again.
- 5/5
We liked how unique the property was. It was like staying in someone’s home but having our own space, too. The common areas were quaint and relaxing.
- 5/5
Very helpful staff
- 4/5
Small yet clean. Staff very helpful. TV didn't work first day, but we fixed it the next day.
- 5/5
Chrissy has a wonderful personality and always makes us feel welcome. The inn has a homey, quirky, low rise feel that is a welcome respite from the bustling city. Great location to walk to the Nashville farmer's market, TN state museum, Brooklyn Bowl (great small concert venue) and baseball stadium. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Great mattresses.
- 4/5
We’ve stayed at the Germantown Inn for the past three years and have always enjoyed it, and seeing Krissy, the friendly and knowledgeable innkeeper. We were sorry to see this year that the lovely afternoon charcuterie spread is no longer offered and the generous warm breakfast including homemade quiche is now a barebones collection of muffins and other empty carbs and a pot of coffee. Germantown Inn was a pricey indulgence that the extras helped us to rationalize. I feel less inclined to choose it in the future.
- 5/5
I do not eat breakfast but rooms were nice and clean. Location is great. Staff very nice. Parking on site and super easy.
- 5/5
Absolutely immaculate property..was so comfortable and quiet….loved it!!!
- 5/5
Cute quiet hotel next to restaurants. Free breakfast of yogurt, OJ, store bought muffins and coffee. Parking in back of property free-don't park in paid lot right next to property. Drive through to alley and turn right to park.
- 4.5/5
The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful and the room was comfortable and quiet. The only flaws were no fridge in the room (we had leftovers from dinner) and the shower. The water never got hot and the shower head was so high up that I feel like it lost a lot of pressure by the time the water got to me.
- 5/5
Really nice people
- 5/5
It was a great stay there and Maria was very sweet. The room bed was extremely comfortable.
- 4.5/5
We loved the atmosphere. The hotel is a mix of old and modern with personality and charm. The sunroom was very welcoming. The cold weather and ice didn’t allow us to use the courtyard or the balcony/deck. The room was very comfortable. We liked all of it!
- 5/5
Great location, great bfast choices, very nice room. Only negative for me was shower didn’t get here t enough.
- 5/5
Absolutely amazing ?
- 5/5
Great room! Very clean!
- 4/5
Cute place in walking distance to lots of good eats/drinks. Rooms could use some fine tuning; light bulbs mismatched, towel racks loose, add hooks for hanging, etc.
- 5/5
Spotless room!
- 5/5
Wonderful room, staff and location!
- 5/5
Nice room, nice staff and free on site parking
- 5/5
I have stayed at the Germantown Inn many times over the years and have always been pleased with my stay. This time again I had a wonderful stay! Lovely clean room, staff friendly and accommodating, Breakfast tasty and fresh. Outdoor siamese cat Roomy always a treat...Recommend without hesitation
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Beautiful House Nice staff
- 4/5
In our room the bed had only a duvet. We would have preferred for there also to be a topsheet.
- 5/5
The room was perfect and the hotel was so cute!
- 5/5
The staff were amazing. Lucy and Chrissy especially made us feel so welcome and couldn't have been more helpful. Hope to stay here again in the future!
- 5/5
The property is charming, quiet, great location for walking around Germantown, Bicentennial Park, and even Broadway (for a longer walk). The area of Germantown felt quite safe. Breakfast was plentiful & tasty. Nothing.
- 5/5
Room was incredibly clean. Nice mini split AC kept the room just the right temperature without being loud. Spacious shower, amazingly comfortable king sized bed. We had a blast for 2 nights and loved this quaint + quiet hideaway in the best neighborhood in Nashville! Cannot recommend enough. Wonderful Inn with great staff and the most perfect location.
- 5/5
Gorgeous historic inn in am amazing location!
- 3/5
Since new ownership this has hurt the overall stay experience. They do not do the reception from 5-6 with the charcuterie snd drinks and no good breakfast with quiche etc. the staff is good! They just no longer have anything to work with. Location is good and very walkable. Hopefully the new owners will correct all of this for 500$ a night you need these nice extras!
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, friendly.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
The staff was very responsive to my requests. The continental breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
I came in for the Wounded Warrior 5K. I picked the Germantown inn because of the walkable distance to the 5K at the Bicentennial Park. All the staff was so nice! They were able to have breakfast for me earlier.
- 5/5
Historical neighborhood in excellent location Mattress was a bit too soft for my liking Shower was slippery
- 5/5
Amazing stay in a cozy, historic neighborhood and building. Delicious breakfast, quiet courtyard, and comfy bed, with great service from the inkeeper. 10/10!
- 5/5
The hotel itself is cozy, stylish, and full of character. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, creating a relaxing and intimate atmosphere. The bed was super comfortable, everything was spotless, and the overall vibe was peaceful and inviting. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Germantown, a charming and quiet neighborhood, yet close to all the main attractions in Nashville. We loved strolling around the area, surrounded by beautiful architecture, great restaurants, and a true local feel. I absolutely loved my stay and would return in a heartbeat. Truly an unforgettable experience!
- 5/5
Great room and wonderful staff wonderful day would gladly do it again
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 4/5
The place is nice, and quaint. Our room was hot and you can hear the other guests through the walls/floors but it’s a house built in 1845, it’s understandable. Not the hotels fault but within 30 seconds of parking someone came up asking me for money, which wasn’t ideal. If you’re looking for a place to sleep it’s nice.
- 5/5
The location was IDEAL for our one night/two day exploration of Nashville. Walkable to so, so much, including the live music bars along Broadway, without being in the rush and noise of downtown. Very close to the farmer's market and the state museum and, best of all, Monell's family style home cooking. I called ahead and talked to Lucy and she was so helpful and let us park there before check in so we could get right to exploring the city since we had a limited time there. She prepared a wonderful breakfast for us--quiche, yogurt parfaits, muffins and sweat breads, fruit, coffee and juice--and gave us tons of tips and suggestions for places to visit in the city. Achmed graciously stayed up for our late check in and helped carry our things in from our car. The inn really has a homey, family feel, and the beautiful sun room is a lovely place to sit and have breakfast. I much prefer this setting to a downtown hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Hmmmmm . . . really cannot think of a thing that would have improved our experience.
- 5/5
This place was wonderful! A beautifully kept up historical home. Everyone who works there was super friendly and nice. The room was really clean and had great lighting. We walked to Guist for dinner which was delicious. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. We’d love to stay there again.
- 5/5
We loved the room we stayed in and the free breakfast in the mornings. This area is so walkable and like 25 bars and restaurants within a 6 block radius, checked out a lot of them for happy hour specials! Safe area and friendly people, would definitely recommend this place and plan to go back!
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Really neat, very small, very boutique hotel.
- 4/5
Room was very clean. Chrissy was super friendly. I wish there were more options for breakfast. It was the exact same every day. We stayed 5 nights, so it might be ok for someone only staying a night or two
- 5/5
The location and the calm no equipment in the room. No fridge, no cupboard
- 5/5
Came to Nashville with my son to find him an apartment, as he is moving here for work. The Germantown Inn was a beautiful, well kept, comfortable place to stay. Lucy was about as welcoming and friendly as can be and had plenty of useful advice. On top of that the delicious breakfast she cooked up helped us get a great start to the day. If you are coming to Nashville I definitely recommend that you stay here.
- 5/5
We would highly recommend this hotel. Its location is great, being both walking distance from Broadway and loads of great restaurants in Germantown. We received a lovely and warm welcome from Chrissy on arrival at the Inn, who also kindly upgraded us. The rooms were lovely, bright and clean. Thank you for having us to stay!
- 5/5
I would prefer breakfast beginning at 7 rather than 8
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was very good, Staff was great, location was also great.
- 5/5
Great boutique hotel with the all-time best staff.
- 5/5
We will ABSOLUTLEY be back!!!
- 5/5
We absolutely loved the Germantown Inn. Clean, beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast each day was good. There were many restaurants in walking distance to the Inn with a Wine Bar right across the street that was a lovely experience. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Quaint inn with rustic charm. Neighborhood was quiet. Within walking distance to many places. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Quiche, fruit and pastries were plentiful. Definitely will revisit in the future.
- 5/5
The Germantown Inn was the perfect place for us to stay during our recent trip to Nashville. We didn't want to be right in the thick of the city action, but we wanted to be close to everything, so this was the perfect location. We were able to walk to local restaurants, it was quiet, safe, and we could be in town within minutes. We stayed in the Buchanan room which was on the 1st floor. The room was very spacious and the bathroom and shower were huge! The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable and everything was super clean. Continental breakfast was available daily. It was limited, but tasty. Not being a coffee drinker, I do wish ice water would have been available (there was orange juice). The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying there.
- 5/5
Loved every detail from my stay!
- 5/5
Good stay
- 5/5
Fun and unique place! Chrissy, the innkeeper, was fantastic!
- 5/5
Everything was amazing.
- 4/5
The Germantown Inn is in a great location - a fun suburb with a lot to see and very close to all the attractions. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was a very nice addition. The rooms were decent, nothing special, but nice and clean. Parking was also easy (unlike the expensive downtown fee's). I only had one issue with the hotel. The downstairs rooms are in an echo chamber. All three rooms downstairs echo with any conversation in the lobby, the breakfast area, or the hallway. You can hear every word in a normal conversation and it is loud. This can be problematic if you want some quite outside of the 10:00 pm to 7:00 am quiet hours (like a nap in the day or if you want to sleep in). I chose to wear ear plugs, but even those were only semi efficient. I have never had this issue in other hotels. It is obviously due to the proximity of those rooms to the common areas, the hardwood floors, and maybe the doers aren't sealed tightly or soundproof. The upstairs rooms don't have this issue. I would come back, but I'd insist on staying upstairs.
- 5/5
We've now stayed here twice when in town, it's very close to downtown yet quite enough to enjoy!
- 5/5
Nice neighborhood, walkable to restaurants and entertainment venues.
- 5/5
The breakfast offerings were delicious, especially the quiche and muffins. A beautiful place to relax in your outside inside or on the roof, and walking distance or short Uber ride to downtown.
- 5/5
The staff were extremely kind and helpful!
- 5/5
Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Diane
- 5/5
Good location. Nice property. Comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Heavenly linens! Quiet! Beautiful, classy neighborhood! Not a single thing about which to complain!!!
- 5/5
Very charming hotel. Great room amenities, excellent upscale continental breakfast, and friendly staff. Amazing location in Germantown neighborhood.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fabulous - especially the roasted vegetable quiche.
- 5/5
Loved our stay! I will definitely go back! Great boutique hotel!!!!
- 5/5
The breakfast was exceptional. There was a delicious hot quiche, fruit cups, yogurt, and fresh pastries and muffins. We were allowed to take two bananas and some extra muffins for the road.
- 4.5/5
The location was perfect. Walking distance to everything in a very quiet and quaint part of town. Everything worked very nicely for us.
- 5/5
This is such an amazing and cozy place to stay! They were so friendly and welcoming. We had a restful stay.
- 5/5
It was close enough to downtown but in a historic area on a lovely street with restaurants and an amazing cupcake store. Nothing
- 5/5
Wonderful old home in a easily walkable part of Nashville. Bed was very comfortable.
- 5/5
The Germantown Inn is a gem in a cool neighborhood! There are tons of bars and restaurants nearby but it’s away from the madness of Broadway. We walked to the Country Music Hall of Fame (1.6 miles) but then ubered home after dinner and it was quick and cheap. The rooms are cute and comfy, the breakfast is great and everyone is SO NICE. We will totally come back here next time we visit.
- 5/5
This is a beautiful house with well appointed rooms. The bed was very comfortable and area was quiet at night. 10 out ot 10!
- 5/5
Walkable to excellent neighbourhood restaurants, Farmers Market, State Museum. Walk to Broadway is a pleasant 30 minutes through parkland. Perks: a good breakfast and a wine & charcuterie hour!
- 5/5
Location is excellent. Can walk close by to more than 8 restaurants. 31 in the area. Can walk to free TN History museum and Farmer’s Market - 2 blocks. Free parking on grounds. Street too. Continental quiche muffin fruit breakfast included plus little happy hour each day at 5 pm. Splendid. All was perfect.
- 5/5
One night visit to Nashville. Dogs welcome. Lovely inn in a wonderful walking neighborhood.
- 5/5
Very clean. Beds very comfortable. Conditioning of the air is awesome. Nothing…everything was great!!
- 5/5
Hosts were very friendly, helpful and available all the time. Room was inviting, comfortable and immaculately clean. Bathroom and plumbing worked flawlessly. A festive court and dining area gave a warm inviting atmosphere.
- 5/5
the place was perfect in staff, comfort and location. thank you so much!!! our room was a little noisy due to being on ground floor and in a somewhat busy hallway. but still wonderful! wou
- 5/5
Stayed here while visiting our son who lives nearby. Great location.
- 4.5/5
I liked everything about the Germantown Inn from the comfy, luxurious bedding to the continental breakfast every morning and snacks in the afternoon. The only small complaint was the noise of the air conditioner.
- 4/5
Cute small hotel with free breakfast and happy hour when you arrive. Lovely part of town to stay in with lots of walkable options
- 5/5
My sister and I stayed at the Germantown Inn for 5 nights. The stay could not have been more delightful. The staff (Amy, Cindy, Emory) were all fantastic. We stayed in the Monroe. The room was super cute and spacious, as well as the bathroom. Everything was modern but the unique original features of the building remained. A light breakfast was served daily- the quiche was delicious every day. There was also a charcuterie hour with local beer and wine. The inn was in a very quiet area within walking distance to many great restaurants and breweries. The inn was also walking distance to the capitol, downtown, and Broadway. I could not recommend more. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
- 5/5
This property exceeded our expectations. It was clean, updated very well, quaint and the staff was off the charts great. We have found our home away from home when visiting Nashville.
- 5/5
This place was fabulous in a very cool part of Nashville. Although very unassuming on the outside as you pull up, the inside is adorable and the rooms are beyond charming. The happy hour served delicious local wine and beer, with charcuterie board. The people who worked there were so friendly and accommodating. All the guest we met were repeat visitors. German is a cool, swanky area with top notch Nashville restaurants, bars and coffee shops and its only minutes from Broadway. An added bonus...it's across the street from the famous Monells - don't miss this place for breakfast. Talk about a treat. This is just a great, well-run bed and breakfast we will definately stay in again. A new Nashville Favorite!
- 5/5
Gorgeous small Inn superbly located. Easy to walk to local restaurants and into Broadway if that’s what you enjoy doing (we did!). Delicious breakfast and charcuterie hour. Would recommend to anyone visiting Nashville. Kind and generous welcome!
- 5/5
All of the staff were very friendly and nice. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed happy hour on the patios. It is about a 30 min walk to Broadway or the arena.
- 5/5
Beautiful, quiet inn. Enjoyed it so much more than a hotel.
- 4/5
Such a cute property. The grounds are wonderful. Check in was great. Managers happy hour was a bonus and and looking a forward to breakfast in the morning.. Our room is perfect!

- 5/5
This charming property was just what I was looking for as a first time visitor to Nashville. It was in a quiet/cute neighborhood, the rooms were nicely appointed and the staff was very accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
- 5/5
Really cute space! Way exceeded my expectations and we'll definitely be back!
- 5/5
Great little inn. Super friendly and helpful staff, and the neighborhood is wonderful.
- 5/5
This is a beautiful place! The staff is super friendly. You can walk to so many different restaurants! Parking was easy too.
- 5/5
Hidden secret in Nashville!! Great little historic inn that’s a safe 30 min walk to Ryman or Broadway area. Super clean and comfortable. Quiet. Very charming. Loved the happy hour and breakfast. Wonderful neighborhood with tons of options in walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay!!
- 5/5
No bar or restaurant but light breakfast and “happy hour” charcuterie and drinks more than made up for it! All included in room rate. And the staff … incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us loads of tips. Regarding Nashville itself, Broadway in Downtown was fun if a little manic later at night, but the Germantown area also had some nice restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
- 5/5
Perfect low key and very convenient place in a pretty neighborhood. Just a suggestion - a writing desk in the room would be very helpful.
- 5/5
Lovely spot…
- 5/5
Most competent and friendly staff at any place we have ever stayed.
- 5/5
We have the best time and wonderful night of sleep at this beautiful Inn. So quaint and tasteful.
- 5/5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this inn which is filled with history & charm. I was in need of a first floor room at the last minute which they smoothly accommodated. The staff are top notch, delightful people. In particular, Chrissy was so helpful, kind & informative- a wonderful "face" of the Inn. The breakfast delicious (& great coffee) & they strive to support the local businesses with their food and drink purchases. We would definitely return if we get back to visit N.Ville again. It was a memorable stay! J&D
- 5/5
Such a cute B&B - will be back :)
- 2/5
Our room was The Jackson it smelled a bit like mold and very nosy from the other guest until midnight, The breakfast was a muffin and coffee you would have to get yourself. never had any experience like this in a Bed n Breakfast. usually quite and relaxing and they serve you a good breakfast, First and last time for us at at The Germantown Inn.
- 5/5
The room was wonderful, the staff was top tier, overall great experience!
- 5/5
Great spot in an interesting neighborhood location close to the family we were visiting. The room was comfortable and the staff members at the inn were friendly and very helpful. They made us feel at home.
- 5/5
Cute spot in Germantown and walkable to the baseball stadium and many restaurants and bars. The staff was very nice and the room was cute and perfect for a 1 night stay.
- 5/5
Great place, very homey. We will be back.
- 5/5
Fun location.
- 5/5
The Germantown Inn was the perfect spot for us to land for peace and quiet at the end of our busy Nashville days. The breakfast was great, staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to restaurants, bars, etc. Highly recommend this property!
- 5/5
Unique inn and exceptional staff! A
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. Amy and Christie were perfect hosts. We would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and the amenities were nice! Great area, great place to stay, great overall.
- 5/5
The Germantown Inn was great. The two women that worked during the four days we stayed were amazing….from their hospitality and great area recommendations. The room was cute and comfortable. Walkable to some nice restaurants and not a far ride to downtown. Breakfast and wine/charcuterie box daily. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
This space was clean and happy! The location is great. The rooms are small, but charming. Concierge was friendly and accommodating. Overall great stay just wish it was a bit larger of a room.
- 5/5
We love staying at the Inn.
- 5/5
Charming small boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff, attractive decor, comfy bed, and well appointed spacious bath and dressing area. Note that our room had a large walk-in shower, but no tub. Toiletries provided were good quality, as were bathrobes. My only complaint was that the lighting in the lavatory/dressing area was rather dim and not good for doing makeup/hair. Complementary breakfast was offered with a nice assortment of pastries, yogurts, fresh fruit, quiche, and a variety of coffees, teas, and juice.
- 5/5
Such a cute place with the kindest staff!! Can't wait to visit again!!
- 5/5
Super cute!! Bed was comfortable and want those pillows at my house! The drinks and charcuterie box was a great add on. Breakfast was not to my liking but at least there's a free breakfast. Would stay here again for sure
- 5/5
My stay was amazing, I had brought my dog on my trip. They are dog friendly. Not a far stay from a lot of good eating places.
- 5/5
Just passing through for one night and wanted to stay in Germantown. Perfect location to walk to dinner and go for a stroll afterwards. Room was clean and comfy. After leaving I thought I had left something very special behind in the room and when we called the front desk the manager immediately went to go search for us. While it turned out I had it with me, I really appreciated the effort to help us find it. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Nashville.
- 4/5
Staff was accommodating with my unexpected late arrival!
- 5/5
We loved this place and will definitely look for a reason to come back to Nashville and stay here! It's small, but still felt private (not like a bed and breakfast where people are too close). Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, both at check in and in the morning. Breakfast was amazing. A nice evening snack and drink was available. The outdoor space was a beautiful place to hang out or eat. It was walkable to the venue we were in town to visit. Parking is the only hassle, but it worked out.
- 5/5
Inn keeper /owner? extremely helpful.
- 5/5
Loved the ease of access, convenient continental breakfast with all day coffee, and overall vibe of both the inn as well as the surrounding area. Easy off street parking, super clean, friendly staff, and several great dining options within walking distance.
- 5/5
Amazing stay and great hosts. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Cute place in a nice location. Fun happy hour and good breakfast. Worth a visit!
- 4/5
Wanted to be in a quiet part of Nashville but within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. This met our requirements and had the added bonus of great staff, being clean and comfortable and little extras like the evening wine/beer and nibbles. The only thing we can fault our room (Polk) for was lack of countertop space in the bathroom, there were glass shelves above the WC (don’t like keeping toothbrushes above a WC) and with such a lovely big bathroom it could have done with more.
- 5/5
Breakfast every morning & charcuterie/wine every night was a plus as well
- 5/5
It was a wonderful experience
- 5/5
We feel like we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay in Nashville. This beautifully restored townhouse blends history and modern style seamlessly, and the entire neighborhood invites strolling, shopping, and dining. The staff could not have been nicer. We would like to return here every time we come to Nashville.
- 5/5
Great inn located in historic Germantown. Close to local restaurants, shops and cafes. Close to the city center but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We walked to the farmer's market and Capitol Mall State Park. The rooms at the inn are modern and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in the lobby and there are outdoor seating areas. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.
- 5/5
We loved everything about the property and the location was fantastic!
- 5/5
Beautiful Inn with amazing amenities, safe locked building, beautiful lounge areas both inside and out, and friendly staff. I’m already recommending this to friends and look forward to staying again if I find myself back in Nashville.
- 5/5
The property is lovely and historic, the rooms are pristine with the most luxurious bedding and linens.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast and later afternoon snacks. Definitely stay here!
