The price was way off, the property need major fixing...looks like its been abandoned.
- 4/5
It was clean . They were kind
- 4/5
Friendly staff and clean rooms
- 2/5
This hotel is in dire need of a maintenance man. There is a lot of repair activity going and yet nothing has been finalized. The ceiling in the swimming pool area needs drywall repair, and the lights needing to be replaced. The most disappointing parts of the overnight was the refrigerator not working and lost both of our meals. Then the exterior window not being secured and a short dowel rod placed to prevent it from opening.
- 5/5
Nice clean rooms.. very helpful and nice staff
- 1/5
I couldn't even get to the property due to a large fire in the area and they refused to refund me my money.

- 4/5
The hotel was clean, service was good, mattresses were too hard, exterior needs to be cleaned up and updated, no bedspreads on beds was odd.
- 4/5
Very quite hotel, there is a train, but it only goes by in the daytime. Rooms get bathroom cleaned, but that's it. They don't sweep the floor or even make the bed. Which is fine, except that the floors really NEED to be swept everyday. TV does not work. Plan accordingly. Avee was very helpful. I won't stay there again, too remote.
- 5/5
My friend AVVEEE excellent customer service really helps everyone in the hotel. Beautiful hotel and great staff too. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to go to Glenwood springs.
- 2/5
So you guys need to get more covers for this place. One thin comforter and sheet ain’t gonna do it. I had more comfort sleeping in my car than this hotel room. That’s sad. The staff was nice but there really needs to be more blankets
- 2/5
When checking in, we requested a first floor room. We were told the only one available did not have a working refrigerator. We accepted that. Upon entering the room we found the TV screen was cracked. There were several places in the walls with damage to the plaster. When we prepared to go to bed, we found gritty material (possibly sand) between the sheets. We have been frequent guests at this location, but after this we decided to find a new location.
- 4/5
Great hotel for a very reasonable price.
- 5/5
Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast included eggs, sausages and pancakes, which was nice especially for
- 2/5
The location of our room was really good. It appeared some repairs had been started, but not finished. It was clean, though. The breakfast was good. Good variety. We've stayed here before, but upon pulling into parking lot, see the massively overgrown weeds, were telling that things were deteriorating. Lots of issues in the room throughout the facility that looks like they've started doing some repairs, but never finish. Our bathroom door handle was installed correctly on one side and backwards on the other. As much as it's deteriorated since our previous stays, I highly doubt we'll ever stay here again.
- 3/5
The hotel needs a lot of work. The grounds are not really taken care of, there is trash around outside and the interior seems a little shabby. Also there was no lock on the rear door, anyone could have walked in. Also it's really close to the train tracks and interstate, so not very quiet.
- 5/5
Nice quiet location, market and a few restaurants close. I work out of Glenwood springs.
- 2/5
We had a lot of ants in the room we checked into and had to be moved. Had no wifi in the room for over a day. Power went second day for 5 hours
- 5/5
Staff was helpful
- 2/5
The property is in disrepair inside and out. My room had damage bad enough i made a point to take pictures shortly after walking in incase they tried to charge me for the damge. The weeds surrounding the building are a couple feet tall. The property feels more like a Motel 6 than a name brand hotel.
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
Well I did not end up staying at this hotel.. the Hotel would not allow me, my sister and our 4 little 10lb dogs to stay without renting another room and the total costs was quoted to me as being $459. We ended up sleeping in a supermarket parking lot. The company did send me a cancellation notice but because Expedia could not contact a person to confirm they have refused my refund, even though I paid their addition expense of $14.95 for Insurance to ensure this would not happen if we did not stay at the expected hotel... This is unacceptable and I will be fighting this!!! So until this matter is corrected I would stay away from Expedia where any and all your travels are concerned..
- 1/5
Staff was rude and constantly giving me a hard when using common breakfast area to make food. They said I made a mess and never did as well as always cleaned up after my meals. Door lock was broken and they never fixed. Dof ate a tv remote and the refused to give me another one even after I offered to pay for it. So I did not have use of the TV.
- 0.5/5
Nothing smells horrible The bedding had stains and the room smelt like urine and the shower wouldn’t get warm
- 5/5
Todo limpio muy comodo. Lo recommend. 100%
- 4/5
Bed was hard but worked! Rooms spacious. Only 15 min from glenwood. Would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Didn’t try the food parking is good
- 2/5
Location - easy to find Right off interstate and railroad tracks
- 3/5
Room absolutely perfect. Breakfast provided was pretty poor. The bold coffee was so weak. I had to go to a gas station to get a regular cup of coffee
- 4/5
No internet if your room is 50 feet from front office
- 5/5
Clean room, very nice staff and quiet. Parking isn't very roomy if you have a large trailer but there's a Conoco right behind it and they let me park in their lot overnight.
- 3/5
It was ok for a 1 night, the room was ok. Shower rod loose from wall. Breakfast minimal. The grounds needed mowed an taken care of IMO. I had expected more from a Wyndham.
- 5/5
Staff is always amazing. Clean and quiet rooms. Beds are comfortable.
- 5/5
Breakfast was lovely.. Room very clean.. Will come again!
- 5/5
Staff is always amazing. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Quiet and safe.
- 3/5
People there are amazing, helpful, and thoughtful. The property outside needs someone to pick up trash. A simple task. Rooms were clean but need repairs.
- 3/5
Room was ok, bed was hard. Otherwise not
- 5/5
We had a great stay
- 4/5
The room was clean and the continental breakfast was nice to grab before heading out for the day! Parking was easy and the staff was nice!
- 2.5/5
Next to highway so easy on and off Poorly maintained. Outside looks trashy and unkept. Inside clean but very outdated and not maintained properly.
- 3/5
With knee-high weeds and the overgrown lawn mower parked under a tree, this property hasn't seen any groundskeeping in a very long time. The window in our room was very dirty wouldn't open.
- 3/5
Nice view of mountains. Room was ok, a bit worn. Right off highway and a train track. Outside needed more attention, tall weeds everywhere
- 4/5
Hotel room was is clean. Everything is adequate, nothing special, but was what I needed while visiting family in New Castle.
- 4/5
Linens and bedding were new and fresh. Fixtures and decor are a bit dated, but I believe the new ownership will be deep-cleaning individual units on an aggressive schedule, and freshening paint and wallpaper. Swimming pool and hot tub areas are also being upgraded, but are very clean and serviceable.
- 5/5
Thank you!
- 3/5
Breakfast was okay. Had to change rooms due to TV issue and didn’t know pin miner to fix it and had to change bedding twice due to mystery’s stains on them.
- 5/5
Everything was gooos
- 4/5
This is our second time staying there all things considered good access nice room and a simple breakfast meal. I think we will stay there next
- 3/5
You definitely are paying for just a bed in somewhere that you can rest your head. The pool was warm. The hot tub was nice. We stayed here because it was about a 10 minute drive back-and-forth into Glenwood instead of paying Glenwood Springs prices..
- 1/5
Got back to our room from a day at Glenwood hot springs and TV doesn't work and th wifi is in and out. Room was great but beds never made the whole time we were there. Did get fresh towels. Advertised having a workout room, but they do not. They do have a pool. Place needs some updating. The hot breakfast has gone downhill with cold food that should be served hot in order not to make people sick. Food tasted like the cheapest thing they could buy. Hotel is about 12 minutes from Glenwood and about 5 minutes from downtown New Castle.
- 2/5
The property is older and could use an upgrade, it’s not appealing to the eye. The bedding is below average.
- 1/5
I do have a bed The jacuzzi jets were not working The tv is not working
- 1/5
I have dogs, when they hear noise from the hallway they have barked as the door is not secure! Back entry doors are always broken. Now I got a message I have been kicked out because my dogs bark when the hear noise. I have heard dogs bark there as dogs bark. Nothing was offensive what do they expect if door is partially open?
- 5/5
Everything was exemptional staff members very kind and everything very clean
- 5/5
clean, nice views, good area, good breakfast
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Good place for the value. Very friendly owners. The place has been updated recently and was clean.
- 4/5
Room was clean, breakfast was ok
- 2/5
Rooms are basic and beat up. I’ve stayed in multiple rooms over two months and most all have dripping shower faucets. Beds are basic and I wake up to sore back. I was working nights and sleeping during the day so I had arranged with the front desk lady, which I didn’t catch her name, was the only one I’d say was helpful on the staff. We had an arrangement on my last day of the week, where I paid an additional $30 for a later check out around 5pm. On one occasion she was not working in the afternoon on my last day of the week and forgot to mention this to her manager. At 1pm that day management was beating on the door trying to boot me out at 1pm, which was rough after working all night and getting to bed at 9am leaving me with just several hours of sleep to go to work and then make the 3 drive home. I spoke with her about this the following week and she was sorry for the inconvenience but was no longer giving me the late 5pm check out that we had arranged. Also there seems to be a lot of dogs at the hotel which constantly bark during the day and strong presence of dog poop outside in the grass area. The free breakfast that’s included could be better but I didn’t expect much when it’s complimentary. I had left a iPhone charger in my room by mistake one week and called to see if the cleaning crew had found it so I can pick it up the following week but of course not. Only reason I’m giving 1 star is because of the nice woman up front. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
- 5/5
Wonderful service and I only paid 22$ out of pocket! Supper convenient in the emergency situation I was in with very little money 😌
- 5/5
Everything good.
- 5/5
Staff is great. Very friendly. Rooms are big and spacious. Very quite.
- 5/5
The bed was comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave. The shower curtain bar was slightly broken. Also the hot tub wasn't hot. Just a little warm. I was here driving for Uber. I was able to get plenty of sleep. The water pressure in the shower and sink was great. This place. Is nicer than other cheap hotel. But there are other places a little nicer. But the room alone was worth 5 stars.
- 4/5
Was a fair breakfast! I wish they had waffles! The parking. We travel up there and tough to park truck and trailer.
- 5/5
Great clean place great staff
- 5/5
The room was clean and tidied everyday, free complimentary breakfast and coffee!
- 5/5
Everything was so nice and clean once we get in the e room and they attend you so nice and are helpful
- 5/5
The amenities were simple and exactly what I needed! Great value for the price!
- 2/5
This is a worn out hotel. The fan for the heater does not work very well and requires a very difficult adjustment to get heat. The sink does not drain and collect other residue from the P-trap and it’s nasty looking in the sink. The faucet handle for the shower is broken and you have to move it around until you finally find a spot where the heat is. It doesn’t look like the staff spends any time cleaning the pool or the hot tub. Although the cleaning lady knocked on the door and I asked her to come in and clean she walked away because she did not understand English. This doesn’t work for me.
- 1/5
The walls were dirty with hand prints. The blankets had blood stains. The room smelled like there was no air circulation. I would like a refund.
- 3/5
The location The facility is in need of being spruced up to meet expected Wyndham standards. The clerk was not familiar with dinner places near-by. The exterior had maintenance equipment lying around.
- 4.5/5
It was all good
- 0.5/5
Nothing Not a family friendly location. Bad neighborhood
- 4.5/5
Great location and value. Quiet Breakfast is limited. Nothing special
- 1.5/5
Breakfast was industrial and minimal. Very loud and clicking from air conditioner
- 1.5/5
Hotel is run down. Furniture is old and worn badly. Unpainted repair patches on walls. Shower curtain rod barely hanging onto the wall. Tub faucet pulled half in out from wall, no security latch, etc.
- 1/5
The pool area was disgusting. Doors don't lock, garbage outside wasn't a nice view for the pool area. The short time I was in there was enough for me. I understand that pets are allowed, but there should be a specific area for the dogs to roam. There was only one couple who picked up the droppings. The yard behind the gas station, wasn't breath taken neither. So the stay, want the greatest. Thanks
- 4/5
Friendly service and clean rooms. Bathroom door veneer was peeling off and hot tub was not super hot, low on water and no real jets.
- 5/5
Very peaceful, clean, and affordable.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 1/5
One of my 2 rooms that were booked had a door that wouldn’t stay closed. Not a great experience.
- 2/5
However the people above us let there baby cry all night and loud banging coming from the room above so the money I spent kinda upset me
- 5/5
The staff is good and helpful
- 1/5
Not enough breakfast to feed everybody. Super noisy and uncomfortable beds
- 3/5
The room was clean and comfortable but the pool area had screws on the floor, a drill sitting in the chair and vent cover that laid there for 3 days as well as hoses and other tools that should not be left to sit. I asked for additional pillows for the pull out bed because there was nothing in the room and they didn’t have an.
- 5/5
Love the staff
- 4.5/5
Staff was great! Room was clean. No issues. Hot tub was out of order.
- 2/5
This was by far one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, the house keeper only changed the towels and not the linen on the beds nor did she make up the bed. Bed sheets had freshly lipstick on there and as well as crumbs on the comforter. Bed make terrible noise while laying in them. The breakfast provided was lack luster and the food did not taste fresh. No elevator access to the second floor. Clock in room does not work because no outlet is close by to plug it in. TV only had three working stations to watch. I would not recommend staying here at all lesson learned never again.
- 3/5
Close to glenwood gandola Sheets n comforter were dirty.
- 5/5
Lovely room and staff!
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
Yes all was good.
- 4/5
There was a really torn up chair in the room. Just ruined the whole ambiance. Other than that it was a nice place
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay.
- 4/5
Conveniently located
- 3/5
The bed made a clunking sound every time we sat at the foot of the bed. Loved the hot water availability. Good location and easy to find.
- 2.5/5
They need new mattresses
- 3/5
Rooms were clean and taken care of and staff was great
- 5/5
yes
- 4.5/5
The pool area and jacuzzi were excellent. It was walking distance from McDonalds.
- 4/5
Nice and easy check in quickly got into my room
- 5/5
Extremely courteous staff
- 4/5
Decent, generous, if basic accommodation. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, the heater noisy. For some reason I was put in a wheelchair accessible room which meant no carpet and a weirdly large bathroom with space for a wheelchair and attendant to turn around easily between the vanity/toilet and the bathtub. (It was only weird because I'm not in a chair.) The indoor pool (freezing weather) was good for a cold plunge after a soak in the "hot" tub (lukewarm, maybe 102°). Nice breakfast with touchscreen-selection coffee machine, sausage-egg-pancake steam trays, muffin-bread-bagel box, sugary cereal, instant oatmeal, milk and yogurt. The downside was that the accessible room was right next to the staircase on the ground floor, and noisy neighbors clumping downstairs at 530 am! Sound insulation could be better, as could people's manners. Stay on the second floor away from stairs.
- 5/5
The room was clean, staff friendly, breakfast fresh !
- 3/5
Shower needs repair. Room needs updated.
- 4/5
Staff was great! The operation of the room TV was terrible and overly complex.
- 3/5
Outside of hotel need better landscaping!!! Clean up those weed Look awful outside!! Come on. Do better than this
- 1/5
The reviews for this hotel are completely misleading my husband and I got there to already on the outside looks abandoned and weeds outside growing as well as trash and the way to get in was very sketchy to walking in and getting a room to go in and it smells of cigarettes and drugs with fabulousa cleaner to mask it. Then when I told the front desk and he was very rude to me and said there are no cigarettes smoking, he then gave me another room that looked like a little better but the smell of overwhelming drugs that left me and my husband looking at midnight in a mountain city trying to find another room. When I explained this to the desk he just continued to give me rude looks and so I asked for my refund. Hopefully this helps other people and or families thinking this would be a good place to stay.
- 2/5
Back door was insecured, place was run down. Limited hotel options in the area.
- 5/5
Pleasant service at the front desk. Room was clean.
- 5/5
Facilities seemed well kept up. And Avee Is a treasure We will return!!
- 1/5
Then once they gave me another room, and I finally got properly checked in, that room had a broken hair dryer, shower rod falling off the wall, no clock in the room, no courtesy coffee pot or coffee, no usb ports anywhere in the room, a reclining chair that looked and felt like it was from a second hand store. The door frame entering the room looked like someone had used a crow bar and tried breaking into the room in the past. The metal frame was twisted and bent. This facility is lacking all modern necessities. Will never use this facility again. It was terrible.
- 5/5
It was very clean and nice, the breakfast was good but the bed was incredibly firm and uncomfortable to sleep in
- 5/5
Hotel is nice. Close to hot springs and check in was easy
- 5/5
Everyone was very nice, the place was one of the cleanest hotels i have seen. The beds were not the most comfortable if you like really firm mattresses you will like them though. We really enjoyed our stay there.
- 4/5
Customer service was great, our TV was t working and they came and fixed it and made sure everything was working before leaving us for the evening. Appreciated the ease of mobile check out as well and check in was fast and easy.
- 1/5
We found multiple bugs in the room and left after a few hours.
- 5/5
Just amazing, super clean.. well maintained
- 2/5
The hotel needs to replace the furniture, it's old and dirty, and a lot of insects get in through the window. They need to put insect nets on the window.
- 3/5
The hotel forget to mention that the elevator was out of service. We had to take the stairs for all coming and going. Our room was on the second floor, and all vending machine, ice, etcetera, was on the first floor. I'm 72 years old and have a bad knee. I was very unhappy.
- 4/5
The room was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. The exterior was unkempt.
- 5/5
The staff was super helpful, nice comfortable rooms, it was perfect for our weekend getaway.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Smoke alarm missing.
- 4/5
Area near the parking lot was a little dirty and had junk at the end of it. Room was a little dated but it was clean. Breakfast was pretty good.
- 4/5
Hot tub could of had a temperature adjustment
- 3/5
We were in Room 116. The water, hot and cold were hooked backwards. The hair dryer was off the wall and I think the GFI outlet near the sink did not work.
- 3/5
Maintenance in and around the hotel property. Especially rooms, filtration systems, whole pool area.
- 5/5
Pet friendly for a fee
- 5/5
The bed was comfortable to sleep in and the breakfast was filling!
- 3/5
Housekeeping has to work way too hard to compensate for the poor ownership.
- 4/5
The room was clean, except for a spider web high up on the ceiling. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Beds were very comfortable. But I was quoted $159 for the room including taxes, but I was charged $159 + taxes=$180. Could that be adjusted?
- 5/5
The internet system is very poor. Continues to drop service and may take 5-10 minutes to reconnect. Makes working from the room on the internet very difficult and frustrating.
- 3/5
Average
- 2/5
Property in very poor condition especially the grounds, garage, cigarettes butts, weeds, over grown lawns. Room was fairly clean.
- 1/5
Have no idea how any franchise organization would allow such a rundown place to carry its name. The “lawn” was weeds and dirt. Portions of the landscaping were dead. Exterior paint was stained. Screens were torn. Bulk garbage and appliances were in the parking lot. A partially disassembled bicycle sat in the lobby. Every doorway was damaged from service carts. So gross I tried to cancel. Expedia said I couldn’t without the hotel’s approval. The hotel said they were willing but can only refund to Expedia. Everyone sucked in this endeavor.
- 3/5
We did not enjoy staying at this hotel - surrounding noise, very sparse breakfast, overall dirty and property appears to be poorly maintained (lawmover is stored behind a pine tree). The GFCI poweroutlet was not working and I reported it to staff. Surrounding restaurants did not give much choices and the Mexican restaurant we picked gave my wife stomach pain all night. We won’t stay there again for sure
- 2/5
It was pet friendly but felt like the property was run down and not maintained. Trash outside everywhere and didn’t feel clean. Staff was nice except kept getting calls because dog was barking a little. I wouldn’t stay there again but thankful not allowed pets
- 1/5
The side door didn’t lock at all, nor even close. The shower curtain rod was ripping out of the wall. The continental breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had, and our hotel room door wouldn’t lock when we left unless we really pulled on it. The power also surged 2 times in 2 days staying there.
- 3/5
Almost drove past the parking lot entrance as it was not well marked. There was alot of trash outside. No grass just weeds. Looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. Front desk clerk acted like I was an inconvenience when checking in. Front desk was cluttered. Nail holes in the wall by the bed. No lamps next to bed which was a little annoying since I like to read before going to sleep. No elevators to the second floor. Breakfast could have been better. It was all microwaved and the eggs were over cooked. Will probably not stay at this hotel again.
- 4/5
Clean and quiet.
- 4/5
Clean and friendly
- 2/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful!! But we got into the hotel and their was ant’s on the floor by the bed, in the bathroom and all over the floor, the shower was also broken, water was spewing from the water pipe behind the shower head and coming out of the wall. One light was broken and flickering (didn’t work). Bed was also very stiff and needed more cleaning with little black pebbles over the bed sheets. but without the ants, broken shower head, flickering light, or dirtyness it could’ve been worse. Although the staff was great! Thank you to the front desk man!
- 2/5
Gross... dirty... poor breakfast.
- 5/5
Great stay !! Comfortable, clean, spacious.
- 3/5
You get what you pay for.
- 1/5
I had to request a change in rooms due to tge shower rod being broken and hanging off the wall, the bathroom having pee on the walls, and the wifi not working. In the 2nd room the floor was so dirty my daughters feet turned black, the shower rod was also broken and tou can hear the people upstairs walking and jumping.
- 5/5
Liked the staying in the hotel
- 1/5
It was terrible. The outside of this place looks sketchy. But we were hoping the inside would be decent. We always go check out the the room before we put our stuff in there. The smell was disgusting, like old dirty mop mixed with old stale beer. We did not want to lose out on $400 so we went and got a oscillating fan and some air freshener, anti bacterial soap and lysol. The bed was super uncomfortable, and the towels that looked clean felt like it had some kind of sand on them. On the bathroom floor had dead flies and hair. Behind the tv stand was a pit of an avocado or old lime and a cockroach. We decided to cut our losses and leave a day early.
- 5/5
Room was clean, bed comfortable, ice maker out of order but staff was able to get ice for us.
- 4/5
Pool was good,no ice or so they said,no coffee in rooms. Breakfast was good but very limited.
- 4/5
Staff was best part. Room had walls that desperately needed painting, holes in the curtains and the ice dispenser (only 1 for 2 floors) was out of order. Staff was great as I mentioned, they got ice from the dining area when needed. Area around hotel was dirty. Trash and different stuff laying around outside several areas of hotel. Need to clean it up. Overall hotel is a 2.5 star. Staff helped score tremendously.
- 2/5
Wifi was poor.
- 4/5
The breakfast selection was limited to the usual sausage links, instant eggs, semi warm hash browns as well bagels and bread. What was available was not particularly appealing. I only had a bowl of cereal and a small cup of coffee. No fruit was offered such as apples, bananas or oranges. This was disappointing because, overall, the hotel was nice. The hotel, however, was hard to locate as it is located behind a gas station and it is not really recognizable from the road. We arrived at 8 pm at dusk and we drove past the entrance twice. Improved signage would be helpful.
- 5/5
Excelente servicio muy amables
- 2/5
Wasn’t worth the price at all
- 5/5
Great and affordable place.
- 4/5
Great for the price. Clean, quiet and they have a pool. The only thing was there was no elevator, we were on the second floor and there was no latch lock.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Could ues some updating. Didn't like the bed frame.
- 3/5
The rooms were okay. Kinda dirty, broken phone, very dirty behind dresser, fridge was full of water
- 2/5
We checked in fine. Once in the room my son told me he was having trouble breathing. He flopped on the bed and once he stood up his black t shirt had white dog hair on it. It made sense now. He is allergic to animals. The hotel did not tell us animals had been in this room and they didn’t clean the room well enough. I called the front desk but they had no other room available. I got rid of the comforter, wiped the floor with a wet towel and found more hair but this time black pet hair. Furious…. One bolt was broken on the Toilet seat. It was holding on by the other bolt so it slid horizontally when you sat on it. We needed ice in the morning and the ice machine was broken. Luckily the front desk guy gave me some ice from the breakfast kitchen once I told him about the ice machine. They need to manage the pets and clean well. My son said he instantly couldn’t breath well when we entered the lobby to check in. They need better air filters and system to have non pet rooms.
- 1/5
This place was filthy. It looked like a homeless person lived outside the pool door. There were cigarette butts and yeah throughout the grounds. The door to the pool was broken making it totally unsafe for children. Our television never worked and they did not offer to fix it. The electrical outlet was hanging off the wall. The bathroom light was hanging. The staff including the desk clerk did not speak English. The bathroom shower handle was broken. The trash can next to the front door was overflowing. I have pictures to document all of this. The pool area was dirty with dirty towels everywhere. Junk was strewn everywhere outside the pool door. Terrible experience. I can send pictures.
- 4/5
This place is not very clean
- 2/5
Clear visible mold in the pool ceiling. Pool was super warm and looked gross. Mold in the bathroom. Bathroom vent was disgusting.

Very nice area and hotel.

Maybe i was too tired on the last visit to notice, but the grounds need some attention. I appreciate the difficulty of getting rid of an old soda machine but don't just leave it in the parking lot. groom your grounds and don't just leave branches on the grounds... We were in room 217 and it was difficult to get the hotels wifi in our room. The Wingate and Wingate1 did not appear at the top of the list in my selection. In fact, we connecte to The Wingate in the lobby and we were disconnected by the time we got to the room. You need a repeater. I enjoy the facilities other than that and will probably return again for more adventures in the area.

No elevator . That’s the only thing we didn’t like . We have tons of luggage that we don’t want to leave in the back of the truck at night , so we have to bring most of the luggage’s inside. Otherwise , everything went good👍

Very disappointed in this motel. Lots of trash and junk equipment outside on the grounds. Additionally, the pool was gross, hot tub had dirt in the bottom, breakfast was very limited in quality and quantity and landscaping was terrible to the point that a handicap parking sign was obscured by weeds. The room had no coffee pot which is very disappointing for a Wyndham property and the ice machine was not working. I have photos to show these discrepancies. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend this place.

Very run down. Nothing like the pictures online. Beds were super hard, rooms didnt seem clean, mud on the floor and it wasnt muddy. Windows not clean, mold or water spots on the bathroom ceiling, pool looked dirty and hot tub had sand in it not clean. Open chemicals on a cart next to the pool, and trash and junk around the property, dog poop all over the outside of the property. Breakfast wasnt good just microwaved pancakes, bagles, bread, 2 cereal that were stale, the juice machine buttons were dirty. Outside side door broken and wouldn't close building not secure. The door to the pool was broken. Overall i have had better stays at motel 8's. The McDonald's across the street would have been better for breakfast. I could go on but you get the picture.

The shower rod was not attached to the wall properly. Also the hair dryer was not well attached.

Room was fine, internet was horrible, had to connect to the gas station wifi to do anything. Breakfast was missing most items the last day.

No tiene ascensor y la piscina y jacuzzi no edtaba bien y la maquina de hielo no sirvrb

There was evidence of bedbugs. Dead bugs were still stuck to bed and furniture. Traces of blood on the linen in both beds. Smoke alarm not properly installed. Streaks and marks all over the walls. Pool looked disgusting and not taken care of. Dead plant in the lobby. Staff did quickly give us a cash refund. We left and went elsewhere

Just a quiet place to stay the night with a good breakfast in the morning

The place is dirty our room had bugs. The walls and ceiling were damaged. It’s like they patched up damage to the walls and ceiling but didn’t repaint it. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable my back hurt from sleeping on it. The staff was very nice but overall the cleanliness of the room and the old rundown feeling of the place was hard to get over. For the price it was only about $30 cheaper than other hotels in the area so definitely not worth the price. My husband liked the breakfast but both of us had trouble sleeping because the bed was very uncomfortable. Upon pulling up and seeing a bunch of junk on the outside and the overgrown plants and shrubs we could tell the place was not well maintained. The pool and hot tub were gross there was sand all over the place. Overall it was just a bad experience and I will never book with this hotel agin. I booked through Travelocity and the pictures did not represent the place well. I could tell afterwards the pictures were outdated. Just a very disappointing part of our trip. I will be asking for a refund. Make sure you check google for more reviews i wish i had before booking this place.

The room we stay in was clean, bright, has refrigerator, microwave oven, quiet, restaurants, convenience stores, grocery is within walking distance. Swimming pool, and hot tub is OK. Has small picnic area with charcoal grill. Staff are quite friendly. Offered free breakfast to their guests. It would be nice if they put in the elevator, especially when guest has heavy luggage’s to take to upper floor. Convenient to get on the interstate from the hotel. Very reasonable price compare to other establishments in a bigger cities. Only 10-15 minutes from Glenwood Springs.

Hotel was overall clean and quaint. AC in room didn’t work the best and the room constantly felt stuffy and humid. The shower was sub-par at best; hard to work and water pressure was minimal. There seemed to be some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Other than those few things, property was easy to get to from Glenwood, clean, breakfast was fine, and it did its job. If you’re looking for a cheaper place to stay (compared to hotels in Glenwood, this is the place but don’t go in expecting a 5 star hotel experience.

Long time guest here through several changes over the years. Property wa in great shape with helpful people at the desk at night and AM. Breakfast offered decent selection and property was quiet and well-managed. Rates are higher in Summer(expected) but I'd stay again.

It was ok.

This was our first time at this property. It looked nice and inviting in the photos I saw. However, the facility itself needs to fix and take care of a few things before it can get a better review. The spa was nice and easily accessible however the day we went there was a lot of sand on the seats and the bottom. We had to change rooms after checking in because our room door would not lock. But it’s a quiet area even being right off of I-70 and having trains going by a couple of times a day. The staff were very helpful, kind, and friendly. It’s close to food and a grocery store. It was an okay place to stay with a very reasonable rate.

Inside it was clean and they take pride in that part, the side security door was bent and couldn't be locked (whick made it easy to get in, no need for a key(;-) The patrons were lound and lots of slammed doors all night, we left before the breakfast because we didn't want to chance it. There are commercial trailers parked in the vest parking spots and you can see they haven't moved in a while. I would like to think that they are working diligently at fixing it up and will pick up all of the trash and debris outside the house and cut the yard as soon as they finish fixing everything. Great guys at the front desk, kind and knowledgeable just what you want, but the outside was in such a state, i mean pick up the trash in the parking lot and spray the weeds with round-up that are growing everywhere. But they might be so overwhelmed they no longer see all the doors, trash, debris.

The room was clean but not as nice as pictured. The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was VERY limited and not that good. We will not return to this location
- 4/5
Breakfast options a little limited.

There is no elevator, not mentioned at booking and a very long set of stairs to our second floor room. It was difficult for my wife to get up and done the stairs on two artificial knees. When I asked about an elevator the clerk should have at least asked if I would prefer a 1st floor room

When I pulled up, I didn’t actually believe the building was the hotel I booked! Definitely doesn’t qualify to have the Wyndham branding! Directly out the side door was a pile of trash, tools, shop vacs and what appeared to be dilapidated furniture. As you walk in the front doors to the right was an old broken down lawn mower parked in the tree. I really wish I would have taken pictures it was so far below standard I almost canceled. I was tired from driving 2.5 hours, hiking and getting prepared for a conference I was attending on Saturday June 14th. I didn’t have time. I really wanted to soak in the hot tub and go to sleep. I should have went with my intuition!! Check in was quick and easy. When I went to take a shower there was a dirty foot print on the ledge of the bathtub and dirt and left over FOOD behind the bathroom door when I closed it! While I was in the shower the carbon monoxide detector came off its holder on the ceiling. I called the front desk to let them know but no one ever showed up. The bed itself was comfortable and I might have slept well if it weren’t for the front desk assistant having some sort of what sounded like a heated discussion on the phone for literally 5 hours! I called yet again to let him know his voice was echoing throughout the whole building. He stopped for about 3 minutes and resumed practically yelling the the person on the phone! So very little sleep, complete unprofessional conduct, safety issues and a down right dirty old building!

Clean and breakfast.

Staff was nice but the system wouldn’t accept my email as valid so that slowed things down. The room smelled awful of mold or something. The floor was dirty. There was an eyelash clump on the floor. The bathroom did not look clean. The lock on the door was open exposing a key slot which made us feel unsafe. We did not stay the night. We ended up going a mile down the road to another hotel.

We liked our stay!

The shower curtain wouldn't close all the way across so the floor was soaked. Otherwise a good stay. Clean.

Not impressed at all. I was so exhausted from my road trip that I didn't do anything about it but the room (207) needed a deep clean. The bed sheets were just that - sheets and no comforter. There was black mold on the ceiling next to a super dusty vent and the smoke alarm was just hanging from the ceiling. The walls were dirty and the bedroom window was so dirty you couldn't see clearly through it. I didn't have confidence that another room would be better so I just dealt with it. I hope the owners don't live this way and find the state of this room acceptable! Have better standards for yourself - don't stay here.

Clean, comfortable and smelled clean but also pet friendly.

Peaceful stay

Their ADA accomodations are almost non-existent! I requested a room on the main floor because my daughter uses a wheelchair. But when we arrived at the hotel, we were given a room on the 2nd floor and were told that there were no rooms available on the main floor. And they don't even have an elevator! So we had to lug everyone and everything up a long, steep staircase!! It's terrible and inexcusable to not be ADA compliant!!!

No elevator.

The bed was really hard, and I was unable to sleep, conditioner out windows were dirty. The pool was really nice, and but the hot tub was filled with sand. The shower had issues. Breakfast food was awful. No water fountain. It was cheap when I booked it more expensive when I changed it… sad

This was the worst place I have ever attempted to stay at. All outside doors broken and unable to secure, 1.5 inch gaps under the doors, dirty floors in rooms and weird black bugs, strange people who follow you asking for your room number, gross hot tub and pool, broken fixtures, trash and debris surrounding the building, etc. Just dont stay here. We left after 5 hours and did not look back.
- 3/5
I didn't like that the room was shabby. Torn draperys, torn lamp shades, fire alarm box handing down from the ceiling, phone our of order and no stopper in the sink.

Great service

We found the room for less than $90, only needed a place to get some rest before we continued our trip. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean—that’s all we needed. We checked in online, checked out online. We’d stay here again.

Very nice people and the accommodations were even better than expected!

Off freeway I70 and near convenience Store, grocery store, coffee shop and restaurants. Downtown is 1/2 mile and is quaint

Hotel is old and outdated. No elevator fire alarm hanging by wires from ceiling. It was dirty and unkept.

Hot water in the pool, that’s the best.
