Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with some guests praising the staff, location, and cleanliness, while others express dissatisfaction with the price, shuttle service, and room conditions. The majority of guests seem to find the hotel suitable for a short stay near the airport.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Convenient location near the airport
- Inconsistent shuttle service
- Overpriced for the quality of rooms and amenities
- 3/5
Outdated but clean room. No coffee pot or microwave in the room. TV didn't work, but staff did come to the room rather quickly and were able to fix it. Continental breakfast was ok but could have included some fruit. We felt it was overall ok but overpriced.
- 4/5
Nice
- 4/5
Shower head wasn’t the best at distributing water and the sink took forever to drain the water. You need to board the Airtrain and get to Federal Circle station (one stop from T8) for shuttle pick up. Not a big problem but had to call hotel to get this instruction and they didn’t immediately pick up - would have been nice to have received this information up front, along with booking. Poor breakfast choice but then it is a budget Inn designed for quick stopovers. Water available from vending machine only.
- 4/5
Perfect for an overnight layover in New York. Shuttle service was excellent
- 5/5
Free parking is a major plus for me. The rooms were very clean and the staff were wondering to talk to and they answered all my questions I had. I will most definitely stay here again without hesitation.
- 1/5
Staff was rude, shower had no heat, waited over an hour for hotel shuttle.
- 2.5/5
The hotel was well kept and free of clutter. Everything seemed clean and organized. Necessities were also provided. My biggest complaint is the airport shuttle. The driver asked me for my terminal then proceeded to drop me off at federal circle. Getting to my terminal for an early flight with 2 toddlers was a nightmare, especially because my terminal was the furthest from federal circle. It was ridiculous to drop me off there when they could have easily dropped my at my terminal to make it easier on me. There was only one other rider in the shuttle. This made the stay a 3 star rating for me.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and the beds are super cozy. Definitely would recommend for a stay!
- 5/5
Habitaciones confortables y limpias. Tienen shuther disponible. Volveria siempre. Gracias !
- 5/5
It’s clean and in a awesome location Everything was good
- 2/5
Room was awful with long black hair on pillow( I have short grey)and broken deadbolt on door. There was a gap all around door and no lock on window. I did not feel it was very safe, I hardly slept.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good but had no hot items except for toast muffins and coffee. They did have fresh fruit which was a great addition.

This is a super convenient option from JFK Airport. We were here for a weekend trip to see family and needed something affordable, but clean and had good service. This was the best option we found in the area. Also highly recommend the Lucky Boy restaurant across the street. This is a Greek restaurant with really good food. It was also a close location the things and people we wanted to see
- 3/5
Good hotel if you need easy access to the JFK airport.
- 5/5
Excelente staff Exelente air conditioning
- 1/5
Even the shower didn’t work!
- 3/5
Hotel needs an urgent upgrade. Chair in room was half broken, inoperable. No extra blankets available especially when heater was so old and loud I had to turn it off and room was very cold. Shower handle did not work so I couldn't even shower because there's no maintenance on weekends or after business hours. The staff is super nice but property is falling apart.
- 1/5
I booked the wrong date on line by mistake(for the next day instead of the current day) I spoke with Expedia right away to let them know about the mistake and they needed to contact the property. They spoke to the Property and they would not refund the money..............It was totally my mistake, but you would think they would have a little bit of understanding and customer service. The room was $300, i would never book here again, would sooner stay on the street!!!!!!
- 5/5
I arrived at property after a very long tortious flight from San Diego to JFk via Dallas on American at 12 midnight. Just wanted to goto bed so check in was super fast & easy. Had a good night sleep, bed was super comfortable and breakfast was good too. Recommend this hotel as a stop over as well as in/out airport location.
- 3/5
The facility is older, with worn furniture. It was reasonably clean, but showed signs of heavy use. It was not dirty nor neglected, but appears to have been heavily used for a long time without being updated. Evening staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was useful to get to airport, but had to wait a long time to be picked up from the airport late the previous evening. Morning buffet offered limited choices of bagels or sweet bread. Coffee was good. I am not familiar with local pricing, but it was priced on the lower end of what was available near the airport with a free shuttle. I did not feel unsafe while staying here, but I did not explore the area outside beyond a quick trip to the Costco nearby.
- 5/5
The front desk check in was fast and efficient, coffee in the lobby is a nice touch, the only negative is the water pressure in the shower, very low.
- 2/5
The hotel was like a flashback to the 80's. Old clock radio, no USB ports anywhere, outlets all takes by lamps, clock, etc. Either the room wasn't cleaned well, or there were just permanent stains that couldn't be removed. There was even a piece of carpet that was cut out (not repaired - just cut out). For $225/night + tax, I would have expected something much better.
- 5/5
very clean and comfortable na

Great stay
- 4/5
Breakfast is included in the room rate. While the selection is somewhat limited, the food is good. During our stay, we experienced an issue with the toilet, but the staff responded promptly and resolved the problem to our satisfaction. The staff members were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our visit. Despite a few minor shortcomings, I would recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again.
- 4.5/5
Very convenient for the airport. It’s a tidy, well kept hotel. Excellent attention from staff. Beds were comfortable. WiFi was easy. Fair price for NYC market. We were not flying ourselves, so we didn’t use the shuttle. Free parking. Many flight crews stay here. Also has a lounge room upstairs if you want some quiet time outside of your room. Continental breakfast was unremarkable. Free parking was not easy, but doable for a large SUV. Physical address is 300 feet from Queens line, and its vibe is industrial NYC, not Long Island. Not a lot to walk to, but I walked to Stop and Shop anyway, and it was fine.
- 2/5
shuttle driver very good. Would not give it a recommendation!

Excellent shuttle service to and from JFK. Remember to contact them for the shuttle! They run on the hour every hour.
- 3.5/5
Convenient location and comfortable room. The facilities in the property lists coffee and tea maker. This is not in the room but in the ground floor lobby.
- 4/5
This hotel has good location. I like their 24hr transportation service to airport.
- 4/5
Hotel old and needs updating. Breakfast just pastries and bagels and bananas.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made my stay enjoyable.
- 5/5
Courteous staff, clean room
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay and the airport dropoff was great
- 3/5
Needs update and better lighting.
- 4/5
I have stayed here multiple times and there is consistency in the service, staff no complaints for matching rated hotel.
- 4/5
Helpful staff, great parking, clean room, excellent amenities!
- 2/5
Also, I will never use Expedia for travel planning ever again. Let me know if you wish to know why.

Convenient
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay.
- 1/5
Very outdated, wall plugs didnt work , I had to charge phone at front desk. No breakfast as advertised not even coffee. Distance to airport was not correct as stated in description. We were not informed ahead of time that we would not be dropped off at airline entrance but needed to take AirTran to other terminals and walk a significant distance due to JFK construction. This is crucial to setting up hotel transfer. Employee was condescending stating you just need to leave a lot earlier.
- 4/5
clean room, operable air conditioning, staff
- 5/5
Ez check in. Lady at check in desk very helpful, professional and nice.
- 5/5
Tony, who is the weekend manager, went above and beyond for us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and that were well informed regarding our stay. He had wonderful advice on a nearby city to visit and a delicious pizza recommendation! His graciousness, competence, and generous nature made this the place that we will choose over and over when we are looking near JFK airport! Thank you, Tony, from this Minnesota family! Whatever they’re paying Tony, he deserves a raise! The rest of the staff there were also very conscientious. The rooms were fine, nothing spectacular, but they were clean and the location is so close to JFK airport (with a shuttle service going there every hour). The prices are reasonable for the area, as well. This hotel is a good choice for a place to stay!
- 4/5
This hotel needs some upgrades for the charge to stay there. Very disappointed but adequate and convenient to airport.
- 3/5
AC was good. 2 lights didn’t work in the room making it quite dark. Slow check in process. But nice Front desk staff.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
It was okay. The water had a slight tinge of sewer taste to it. The breakfast offered was lacking. Other than that is was an acceptable place to stay. I’ll probably revisit on my next trip.
- 2/5
The old lady at the front desk, not the young one (we checked in at 8:00pm on May 13)had a very bad attitude and didn’t show any amability nor interest in us the customers, whom must be the hotel’s priority. It doesn’t show a good treat impression to us, the guests. Please don’t hire this kind of staff at your hotel. Thanks.
- 4/5
Located close to airport Reception/ breakfast area ‘cramped’
- 4/5
Perfect for me catching an early flight out of JFK because it has free shuttle service to & from. Room was comfortable, clean and decently priced. As others have mentioned, breakfast is very very basic so keep that in mind. I would say this property is made for traveling through JFK and does well with that. I wouldn't stay here for a vacation because it's a long way from anything other than the airport.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Everything was grea
- 2.5/5
Generally the receptionist was pleasant and the hotel room size is large and clean Airport pickup took 1 hour at 7:45pm. The hotel is 4 miles from JFK, and rush hour was over hours ago. When the driver came it took 10 minutes to get to the hotel. No reason why it took so long for a pickup. Also the bathroom is a simple residential tub bathroom with a shower head that was so cheap only a small stream of water came out of the head. You can’t call it a shower if there’s only a small stream of water coming from the head. Also, neighborhood was not safe to walk and get food, especially at night.

Easy check in, great location to JFK airport!
- 2/5
The driver didn't even acknowledge us on collection as he was to preoccupied with a female cabin crew from an airline they seem to use this hotel a lot . Check in was simple but again very arrogant staff no conversation, not interested in where your from or getting to know customers at all, unless you're cabin crew. Just given room key and told your down the hall Free tea and coffee in reception only nothing in rooms and a light buffet style breakfast which is ok. For a no frills overnight stay it's ok but don't expect any good conversations from check in or drivers. There website says you get 10% off your dinner at Applebee's which Applebee's don't know anything about but they do honour it if you show them in black and white.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 5/5
The staff are very hospitable, competent and helpful.
- 4/5
Nice room but no safe. Area hotel is in not so great. Only fast food nearby. Shuttle to airport reliable
- 5/5
We were in transit and just needed a place to stay overnight before catching our next flight. As a family of four - a couple with two adult kids - we opted for a room with two double beds. Upon arrival at the federal circle, we called the hotel to request a shuttle pickup, and within 15 minutes, it arrived. The hotel was cozy, well-maintained, and offered a standard breakfast. Conveniently, there was a Burger King next door and a Popeye Chicken nearby.
- 3/5
Serviceable. No more. The gentleman at the front desk is a bit gruff.
- 3/5
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Shuttle experience great. Side note: best Greek restaurant ever just across the street.
- 3/5
Breakfast menu good and fresh. Shuttle easy to find. Front desk staff not very friendly. Maid staff very friendly
- 2.5/5
Staff. Clean Bed are bad! Also smells from the Burger King and sorry too expensive for what it is. People bang doors whole night
- 3/5
Free airport shuttle with round-trip service. Breakfast options were minimal and room was small.

good place for overnight stay to catch early morning flight
- 5/5
Greg was friendly and welcoming and provided a warm and efficient check in experience.
- 3/5
The airport shuttle was great. Itbwas timely and the drivers veey friendly.
- 1/5
I’ve traveled all over. This is the worse place I’ve stayed so far. The rooms are outdated, bathrooms outdated, nasty old carpet on the floor, and Inn smelled like smoke. Do NOT be fool by the pictures online. They are misleading. This Inn makes Holiday Inn look like a 5 Star Hotel.
- 3/5
We have been staying at Five Towns for many years. And usually the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. However today’s shuttle driver must have been angry about something. He drove very fast with sudden stops and starts. The luggage in the back was shifting around terribly. He refused to even open the shuttle doors until exactly at 11:00 am, the time we were supposed to leave. He had a Very surly attitude. Not sure he should be working there.
- 5/5
Nice staff and drivers
- 2.5/5
Location It is in such a terrible area it feels unsafe to walk anywhere. Food options are very limited.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
Very close to airport. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast
- 5/5
Everything was very good
- 4/5
Property is near JFK and restaurants. Also has a shuttle to and from the AirTrain stop each hour. Breakfast had fresh fruit, cereal, English muffins, toast, juice, and fresh coffee. Front desk helped with not enough towels in the room for the number of guests. Also appreciate early check in of an hour or so.
- 3/5
I booked 3 rooms for my family of 12 to sleep a few hours before our drive home. I decided on this hotel because of the price, the free 24 hour airport shuttle and it is only 10 minutes from the airport. We landed at JFK at midnight and they only had one shuttle driver working so it took more than one trip to transport my whole family. When the first of us got to the hotel, the lobby was packed and there was a long check in line with only one person working the desk, it took 40 minutes from arrival to check-in and to get into our room. The rooms were clean and beds weren’t too bad. There was a small area in a top corner where the wallpaper was significantly peeling off and I could hear every voice in the hall and nearby flushing toilet. All that being said, all the employees were very nice in an overwhelming, exhausting situation and the clean rooms served their purpose before the final stretch of our vacation.
- 4/5
Receptionist a little brusque, didn't inform us of amenities available (ice machine, washer & dryer ) not great. Shuttle service on arrival a little haphazard..waited over an hour
- 5/5
Inexpensive for near JFK.
- 3/5
Was ok air was ok continental for breakfast was good
- 5/5
Good location for you JFK overnight stopover. Excellent Shuttle service from Airport.
- 5/5
It was very nice!!!
- 4/5
Great comfy bed, road very noisy
- 4/5
Donna, the nighttime manager, had my paperwork ready for signature by the time I got to the hotel so I could go straight to bed. She and Johnny, the daytime manager, were extremely understanding on my flight schedule and were very helpful around late check out. You can tell the hotel is not new, especially upon entering the room, but it is very well kept and extremely clean. Breakfast didn’t have that many options, but it was good for a quick bite and there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity if you need a heavier meal. Overall this was a great stay for a long layover.
- 5/5
We were injured on our trip and flew into JFK. The staff was wonderful and let us have a late checkout that literally made it possible for us to continue our journey home. The place was clean, quiet and just right!
- 2.5/5
Passable
- 3.5/5
I really liked the hotel location and the staff. The hotel heating wasn't working.
- 5/5
Good experience
- 5/5
Perfect for an overnight stay before an early flight. Easy to find/get to; clean; lots of options to eat within minutes (seconds if you like BK). We will stay here whenever we’re flying out of JFK.

The property was great for the price. Staff was friendly and room was clean. The rooms could use a little upgrade but it was comfortable.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Room was clean
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Refrigerator with freezer great for keeping my insulin cool and freezing my insulin case that keeps it cold while traving. A costco almost next door and lots of places to eat a short walk from the Inn.
- 3/5
Needed more upgrade
- 1/5
Parking was a nightmare. There are essentially no spots available despite the number of rooms, so be prepared to scramble or park far away. The room itself offered zero comfort. The walls were paper-thin—I could hear my neighbors clearly all night long, making it nearly impossible to sleep. Overall, between the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and constant noise, I would not recommend staying here.

No hot breakfast in the AM
- 4/5
Ideal for quick airport access. Airport shuttle was friendly. They have a quick breakfast counter with breads, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. Check-in/out is very quick and seamless. Overall good experience.
- 4/5
Located near to airport and shopping. Parking was adequate. Room was clean and nice. Staff were helpful. Will visit again
- 3/5
Average, dated hotel. Location is great for JFK. Nice staff. Lackluster breakfast - pastries and cold cereal.
- 4/5
Room was fine for convenient transit near JFK. The one thing that needs improvement is communication of how often they pick up at JFK. Website states every half hour. They actually pick up every hour. Given how far you have to travel to pick up point, and potentially bad weather a cab may be a better solution.
- 5/5
Our 1 night stay was great! The staff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful. They even allowed us to check in a few hours early, which we greatly appreciated. Our room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Free coffee and tea station available in the lobby, and free shuttle to the airport. There is no swimming pool or gym, but we didn’t need one for our 1 night stay. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location with tons of convenient places to go. Close to jfk but not too close. Third floor had a great view! Staff was wonderful as well!
- 5/5

Convenient location by JFK
- 3/5
Good basic accommodations for travel. Nothing special
- 5/5
Not fancy, but exceptionally clean. Very convenient to JFK. Free on site parking. Staff very courteous and friendly. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Fabulous staff who were helpful since our travel plans were interrupted due to flight cancellations- would recommend to anyone.
- 4/5
The Hotel itself is old and the rooms are as basic as you can get. It serves a purpose for travelers and that is about it. So if you just need a room for the night and you aren't fussy the 5 Towns Inn will work for you.
- 2/5
Main complaint is parking. Double check where you are booking. My loved one came to visit me for a bit because im from the states and they are from the uk. Couldnt find parking except by the beach access and there car was hit while it was parked. Not ideal to visit if you have a vehicle.
- 4/5

The bedsheets was very rough on my skin please use softener cotton sheets
- 3/5
Room was old. Upholstered chair in room was dirty and totallly wore out, sunk into it if you sat in it. Pictures on internet not the same quality as the room we were in.

It is a very beautiful inn. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Slow internet, bathtub didn't drain
- 4/5
It serves it's purpose but not exactly what they say.
- 3/5
Airport shuttle was fine. My only 'complaints' are that the electric outlet shocked me twice pretty bad. And they didn't have quarters for the laundry. The room was clean, barebones, but clean. The bed was comfortable. I would stay there again next time i fly out of JFK.
- 4/5
15 minite transfer. Burger King next door. Complimentary snaks & drinks always available. Good 1 night stopover.
- 3/5
No clear explanation of what are timings of transportation , breakfast etc , also they just ask to sign paper without explaining exact details & reason for credit card payment .. Staff need to be more professional in treating customers .
- 5/5
Old and basic, but clean and comfy.
- 5/5
I appreciated the shuttles, the kosher food, and how close it was to synagogues.

Friendly staff, clean room, free parking, good coffee
- 4/5
Airport Pick up and drop off was great! Room and hotel were clean. Breakfast wasn't much.
- 4/5
I had a nice stay at Five Towns Inn. The location is very convenient—close to the airport and nearby shopping areas. The rooms were clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable.
- 1/5
On arrival the lady on the desk said we could stay checked in until 2pm as our flight was cancelled. The room tap had a leak which flooded the bathroom and the heater im the room didnt work When we spoke to the gent in the office in the morning he said it wasnt noted and we had to check out normal time. Both him and the driver for the shuttle bus was rude and abrupt. Breakfast was a bagel so dont expect anything else from this hotel Not happy at all
- 5/5
The staff that i encountered were very helpful and friendly.
- 4/5
Staff seemed courteous.
- 1/5
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, pictures very misleading looked nothing like the pictures in the room no parking, had to pay $25 to park very inhospitable
- 3/5

- 5/5
nice, clean
- 5/5
Spotless room and hospitable staff. Love the proximity to JFK. Made it easy to catch my early flight. Thank you all for your professionalism and courtesy.
- 5/5
I enjoy my stay!
- 5/5
Convenient for overnight prior to an early flight or after a late one. The free shuttle from the airport was quite easy and convenient and loved that checkout was noon meaning my daughter could check-in the night before, I could arrive 6am the next morning from a LONG international flight and check in to her room for a shower and a snooze before checking out again. Room was comfortable and bathroom fine, if a little dated. Reasonable value for NYC.
- 3/5
Water was not hot
- 1/5
No, I appreciate the price for the one night stay I had at this hotel, what I didn’t appreciate is the attitude of the staff ahead. When arriving and leaving, the staff was rude and Resort to being petty, and it was not appreciated at all. This hotel was a one time only and I will never return to this hotel again.
- 3/5
Having the shuttle only come every hour was really a pain. It would be nice if they were more helpful and would tell you estimated arrival time at the pick up spot and how long they would wait there. We, along with another guest, waited a good hour outside in the cold. They were not particularly interested in being helpful or nice about it.
- 4/5
We stayed for one night transit for an overnight flight connection. Hourly airport shuttle . 15 min drive time . They advertise that they pick up from all terminals but they do only from federal circle . You have to take air train to it but it’s doable with luggage carts . Place is clean and rooms are quiet and comfortable. U can adjust the room temperature. Breakfast standard but very limited choices . Cereal bananas, muffins , bread , coffee basic choices . Staff is nice and cooperative .
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay and loved the shuttle services provided. Breakfast wasn’t what my family and I expected, but it was better than nothing. I would recommend this hotel to others!
- 4/5
Good stay, nice bed and decent room for the night layover. Very good breakfast.
- 3/5
The staff was not very friendly.
- 4/5
ROOM WAS CLEAN
- 5/5
Great service and convenient location.
- 3/5
The room was cozy and breakfast was convenient (although it could have more variety), the heater stopped working at one point.
- 4/5
Everything was fine
- 3/5
Chambre était très propre. Bon lit.
- 4/5
Love this place
- 2/5
There was no hot water nor an attempt to put us in a room that had hot water. The towels were flimsy and not enough. The elevator needs a paint job. Property is not being maintained.
- 1/5
This is the worst hotel I have encountered in three decades of travel. Dirty, broken room furniture, appalling breakfast and the rudest man on the planet manning the reception desk I was booked in and paid in advance for two nights but had to return to the UK after one night due to an emergency at home. The hotel refused to refund me for the unused night. Why anyone would behave like this I can't comprehend.

Very clean nice hotel
- 4/5
Hotel shuttle went well as did check in and check out. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was showing some signs of age and a little TLC is getting close due to dripping tap in shower etc.
- 1/5
The driver and front desk staff were not friendly. The breakfast was not good.
- 2/5
The toilet seat was dirty I had to clean it before use. Former guests hair was found in the bathtub. It is advised to work on their hygiene.
- 2/5
The garbage cans were not emptied and the light switch entering the e room didn’t work.
- 3/5
I was only there for a couple hours so it would be unfair to rate the hotel. My only problem was the availability of the shuttle from the airport to the hotel and how long I had to wait for it in the cold.
- 5/5
Friendly service Nice breakfast Great value for money Shuttle to and fro from airport
- 4/5
Hotel nice and everything organized. The tub stopper needs repair (rusty). The room had a bad odor to it, but seemed to be clean. I borrowed Lysol to spray the entire room to eliminate some of the odor. Bedding was very clean, pure White bedding. Front desk totally friendly and professional.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
It's what you need for a stay near the airport. Clean room, wonderfully hot shower, comfortable bed, short ride to JFK, transportation included. Very pleased.
- 5/5
Very cozy. Amazing experience! We will come back.
- 4/5
Definitely a great hotel for the money. But we didn’t pay much so there were some things that weren’t great but expected. The room was tiny. The bathtub drain was broken, the TV was very small. But I’m happy with the stay overall. It seemed clean and the staff were nice and helpful.
- 2/5
Despite having booked the flight together my family was assigned separate seats
- 4/5
The breakfast was sad.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet room, and courteous staff
- 1/5
Room assigned had not been cleaned and was discussing
- 5/5
They were very kind
- 4/5
All good
- 5/5
The staff was courteous. Everything is clean and peaceful. Very nice hotel.
- 5/5
Airport pick up was prompt, driver and hotel staff helped us with our bags. Everyone including front desk was friendly and welcoming.
- 4/5
My room was clean not enough towels
- 5/5
Yea
- 3/5
The streets are very loud at night. The curtain is not designed well and it took us a while to figure out how to close curtain to block the bright light outside.
- 5/5
Perfect expérience !
- 5/5
Older property, clean, well kept, staff was friendly, airport transfers went well. It was everything we needed. There is a bus that stops by the hotel and it will take you to/from Jamaica Queens subway station and from there you can head into NYC
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
the shower trickled out!
- 5/5
Na
- 5/5
Staff very friendly and room was very clean. While location was more in a commercial area, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get around. It's one of the older inns, but that's ok. I would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Great smooth checkin
- 1/5
There wasn’t even water provided for breakfast, when I asked the staff told me to get it from the vending machine…
- 2/5
The answer is we are booked up. Live with it
- 4/5
The room is a bit dated but clean.
- 4/5
We like this place
- 5/5
Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Would recommend
- 5/5
Good shuttle service; reasonable price for the convenience and services. Stayed overnight for early morning flight.
- 5/5
Clean room, heated comfortable
- 3/5
A thin mattress liner kind of blanket was given at the height of winter in December and there were no blankets available upon request , I was provided with a towel kind of sheet as an extra blanket
- 2/5
The shuttle worked well, but that’s it.
- 3/5
I never been to a hotel, motel or inn that hasn't any change. I was told the manager didn't bring any and was told to go to other establishments outside the Inn for change. I worked for similar hotels and high end hotels and always kept change on-hand for guests.
- 3/5
Room very old, wallpaper peeling, staff was just OOK
- 4/5
waited about an hour and 15 mins for the shuttle. room was good temp. good experience besides waiting for the shuttle. fast shuttle to the airport in the morning
- 4/5
you can hear every noise in the hallway
- 3/5
Customer service 100!!!! Rooms 2.5 the rooms are very dated like early 90’s. The continental breakfast was very underwhelming no fresh fruit options just some brown banana bananas.!
- 5/5
A late night arrival! Easy pickup, nice quiet clean room. Great rest! Easy return to the airport. We were pleased!
- 4/5
The room was clean and the welcome staff were extremely friendly. The location was super convenient for an early morning flight and the light breakfast was enough to grab to take with you on the way. A variety of amenities are close by and within walking distance if needed. From food to clothing. Will definitely stay again!
- 4/5
It was ok. Very expensive.
- 4/5
Greg helped us when we checked in and he was excellent.
- 3/5
This was an okay place to lay your head for a night between flights. However, front desk staff were not friendly (although they were efficient and check-in was smooth and quick.) Do not count on the shuttle ... it only runs once per hour on the hour and, due to JFK construction, you have to take the Airtran to the single single
- 5/5
Close to the airport and had shuttle
- 5/5
Clean and nice rooms. The breakfast is fairly basic.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 5/5
Room were nice, when I called for shuttle, Informed they would be on the hour. They should have said shuttle leaves hotel on the hour and arrives to federal circle approximately about 10 to 20 minutes later.
- 4/5
Basic but very convenient hotel
- 5/5
Courteous staff, clean room
- 2/5
Pickup was very very late and room is not good at all
- 3/5
Check-in was uneventful. Room is clean, adequate. Plumbing needs improvement. Bathroom steam does not air out well.
- 5/5
good experience
- 5/5
Thw room was spotlessly clean & the staff very courteous. With complimentary shuttle to JFK airport. We missed breakfast because we had an extra early flight. Close to shopping areas and food places such as Applebee's, Chick-fil-A, etc.
- 5/5
All of that
- 2/5
Not clean
- 3/5
Toilet handle broken
- 5/5
Very gracious… we were allowed to hang out after check out until our flights at JFK. Great shuttle driver… we lived his sense of humor!!
- 3/5
Reception desk did not communicate the shuttle frequency (1) website AND reception claim the shuttle runs every 15 minutes (2) ACTUAL shuttle frequency is top of the hour (3) called receiption at 10:15p and was told "shuttle will be there in 5 mintutes" (4) called every 10 minutes -- was given same misinformation (5) shuttle arrived 50 minutes after intial call (6) myself and 10 other guests were left in the freezing cold on a windy night (7) if reception had told the truth -- I would have called an UberXL for myself and fellow travelers (8) RECEPTION NEEDS TO BE TRUTHFUL ABOUT SHUTTLE SERVICES (9) in the morning, reception blasted extremely loud YouTube videos with sirens and shouting; the volume conflicted with the TV in the main gathering area; this made the breakfast space unpleasant, noisy and stressful
- 5/5
Staff were awesome especially Dwayne. Rooms were clean and comfortable
- 3/5
Staff not the most helpful. Room was clean Shower was not very good
- 1/5
At 11:30 pm local time, someone was repeatedly banging on my door. Later, the individual then struck the door of room 112 with a housekeeping cart, blocking my exit. I have attached photographs that document the damage and the unsafe situation.
- 2/5
room was ok , The front desk lady was very cold and kinda rude. Not Welcoming
- 3/5
Ok
- 5/5
Quick early check in and a clean room
- 4/5
Comfortable
- 5/5
The free shuttle to and from the airport and to and from the train was a huge convenience and money saver!
- 4/5
Clean room, bed and pillow were confortable
- 4/5
Room was , clean quiet and the staff was courteous and accommodating. Good deal for the rate.
- 3/5
Bath tub drain clogged and leaves 3 inch deep soapy water while taking shower.
- 4/5
Room was clean, getting temp right in middle of the night was tricky when I woke cold. Clerk at the desk was courteous and professional, place is clean. I'd stay there again if price remains competitive.
- 3/5
Couldnt readily get the AC to warm the room as it was very cold. The toilet had to be cranked to be flushed and it was running water throughout the night. The Receptionist was not very pleasant, was dismissive when asked questions. It was our first time in the area and we expected a friendlier atmosphere.
- 5/5
Clean and easy shuttle from train station
- 4/5
Shuttle to/from airport was great. They picked me up as soon as I made it out of the airport. I called when I landed and waited no longer than 2 minutes after I made it through the airport. Driver on the way to the airport was wonderful and friendly.
- 5/5
Clean room, exceptional staff, great amenities. For over five years this is my go to spot when i travel
- 3/5
Bathroom lower pipe was broken, so I had to stoop to get water
- 5/5
Shuttle easy to take, beds very comfortable, plenty of outlets to charge our devices, fluffy towels.
- 3/5
Great location close to airport. Some of the front desk staff were not helpful or friendly at all to us. Never been to a hotel where than they didn't greet you warmly when checking in. I didn't get his name but he is that main guy during the day. The ladies in the evening were not much better. I could see if I was being rude or aggressive. The shampoo and bar soap needs to change but they do give you mouthwash. But I would stay there again because it is convenient.
- 4/5
This hotel is fine. It's an airport hotel with a shuttle. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the shuttle operated on time, and they had some small breakfast items out in the morning. The only complaint I have is the same complaint I have with every hotel at JFK. They're way too expensive. This is not a $250 a night hotel, no matter how good and well kept the property is. This is like a Fairfield Inn or Garden Inn. The price should be closer to $120-$140 a night. But it's JFK so...
- 4/5
Check in was perfect, shuttle very convenient. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very noisy during the night. Lots of people talking in the hallway, TV blasting in rooms. Breakfast very basic but good. Otherwise nice hotel to spend in on a layover.
- 2/5
Room not maintained. Front desk staff very cold.
- 5/5
How lucky to find this place-- we love it and shall stay here from this time forward. Every time we have an overnight last over at JFK. which is very often.
- 3/5
Shuttle service does not include a specific terminal. Air Train is the only location that their shuttle service offers.
- 5/5
Staff was very courteous and friendly. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast
- 5/5
Yes, excellent stay! Very friendly staff didn’t get the name of the guy that checked me in but was really really nice!
- 3/5
Room and hotel is a bit dated. That said it was clean.
- 2/5
Room, plus no continental brake fast,
- 3/5
Airport Shuttle
- 4/5
1) Sink in bathroom didn't drain well. 2) Airport shuttle wasn't listed along with other shuttles on kiosk in JFK Federal Circle (mentioned this to driver). Aside from these items, I was satisfied with this stay.
- 1/5
no terrible
- 3/5
Ac unit loud
- 4/5
Staff
- 5/5
Very good place
- 3/5
just ok for a last minute stay due to cancelled flight
- 5/5
Beds are good staff is amazing
- 1/5
Old, tattered, shuttle only runs on hour no exceptions even if you have flight emergency, questionable part of town.
- 3/5
The bed smelled and there was lots of dirt and hair under the mattress
- 5/5
Easy check in
- 4/5
Perfect for late night arrival from airport. Everything met our needs. Staff were really helpful and advised us on local transport options. Breakfast was decent.
- 4/5
Location
- 4/5
Great location! Not too crowded. Good for quick sleep over or short stay when coming or going for a trip from JFK.
- 4/5
All good
- 5/5
Great service and able to check in as soon as we arrived after a red eye flight!!!
- 3/5
Very convenient for overnight stay near JFK. Place was decent, nothing extravagant. Property is dated.
- 5/5
Great place.
- 4/5
Nothing spectacular. Clean and tidy.
- 5/5
Was pleasant
- 5/5
The room was clean, staff was very friendly. Shuttle arrived on time and left on time. Shuttle driver was helpful with luggage. Quiet at the hotel and even quieter in the rooms. TV worked fine, bathroom was clean and easy to use with hot and cold water options available. We needed to leave our bags at the front desk after checking out - this was easy and effortless, staff was kind and attentive to our needs.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Breakfast could be better
- 3/5
The alleged airport shuttle never comes. They lie when you call. Had to arrange for my own transportation.
- 1/5
The staff was very rude and impolite. They were NOT guest friendly at all and spoke as if they were doing us a favor. Even when asked for basic amenities like tooth brush etc they frowned. At times felt they were disrespectful and discriminatory too. Except for the shuttle drivers and one of the staff in laundry everyone was curt. Overall an extremely bad stay.
- 3/5
Not a good overall experience.
- 5/5
Excellent! My keys were ready after a long day and the room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy, breakfast was ready, I could relax
- 5/5
The staff, warm drinks and the shuttle bus was awesome.
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, room very clean
- 5/5
The airport shuttle was perfect. I left too early to get breakfast
- 3/5
Wake up call wasn’t working in the room telephone . I asked the reception staff on duty to wake me up at 9 am , nobody did . My phone wasn’t charged to make my own wage up call . I felt like I was begging them while I paid $190 for the night . I didn’t appreciate this hotel staff behavior .
- 3/5
Room was good but the bathtub didn't drain easily. A common issue I guess in these hotels. Staff was courteous
- 4/5
great location
- 5/5
Great location. Next ti costco and across st. From freat greek restaurant at trasonable prices
- 1/5
My flight was delayed by a day and the hotel wasnt willing to accommodate my booking. Expedia didnt want to do anytbing either

- 5/5
Everything was the best!
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great hotel for travelers. Shuttle service is excellent to and from the airport.
- 3/5
The breakfast was realy poor
- 4/5

- 5/5
Exelente
- 4/5
Checkin staff was great
- 1/5
No one William
- 4/5
everything was fine
- 2/5
On positive side , room appeared clean. Very basic
- 3/5
Room was clean and basic. No safe. Had a fridge and small microwave. Lamp switches on both sides of the bed were very hard to work but room had good lighting. Basic free self-serve cold breakfast with coffee, cereal, breads, toast etc. Several fast food and one very good Greek restaurant next door and aross the street. Good free 24 hr shuttle to/from JFK airport. We would stay there again.
- 5/5
Clean room.
- 3/5
Things were good. Except the chair in room was terrible. Please replace.
- 4/5
Easy to find shuttle bus
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
Good overall
- 4/5
The shuttle never came. I think they should offered to pay half of taxi fare which came to $83.00 because of traffic backup.
- 5/5
The lady at the front desk was wonderful. We appreciated kindness and how friendly she was. The room was clean as well and the shuttle was prompt.
- 4/5
All fine
- 4/5
The hospitality was excellent and the staff were very professional
- 3/5
Nothing special about this place. Dated everything, but mostly the bathroom. It needs a facelift.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff were courteous.
- 4/5
The place is nice, clean and easy transportation with the shuttle from the airport, just the staff is not nice, they’re rude as if they were doing you a favor by letting you stay.
- 4/5
No microwave.
- 4/5
Helpful staff
- 1/5
Broken, dirty, high traffic. Very outdated Hotel for the price pay the extra 30 or $40 and you will get a brand new hotel.
- 5/5
Very good value for money
- 4/5
A decent stay at The Five Towns for and early JFK flight. Breakfast starts at 6am so we didn't get to experience it. There are shops close by including chemists, TJ Maxx and supermarket. Good for an airport hotel, some noise with people arriving late at night which is understandable. Airport shuttle was ideal. One real complaint, the bed was squeaky which is a sign of age of some of the fittings and furniture.
- 1/5
It says its 9mins from JFK, it was actually 35mins. If you want a comfortable nights stay or an enjoyable experience, this isn't it. Free Parking is great but not worth it the savings.
- 4/5
Hotel was under remodel, while areas were being updated our room wasn't and you can feel the age of the room as the furniture was dated and the chair was uncomfortable, bed was worn. Staff was very friendly and free shuttle service was clutch.
- 5/5
The property well kept and the staff was nice!
- 4/5
Older hotel in process of a renovation. Friendly staff. Nice continental breakfast. Airport shuttle pickup was great- really nice young Jamaican man but the morning drop off driver was less than- ran late, wasn’t in a hurry & really messed up our schedule. Reported it to management & they were thankful for confirmation of a suspected problem. Overall good experience.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean and the gentleman who checked us in at 930pm was super friendly. Room is dated but very clean and bed was comfortable. A/C unit worked well. Breakfast truly "continental " but was nice to have a cup of coffee and toasted English muffin before taking the free convenient shuttle back to the airport. Definitely recommend as it was much less expensive than other airport hotels.
- 5/5
Didn’t need the shuttle service but lovely place to stay.
- 5/5
everything is very satisfying.
- 4/5
Nice hotel for airport convenience. Shuttle was efficient, wait was not too long. Room was clean, check in was easy. The breakfast was poor, just a few unappetizing options, no eggs or anything like that, and no actual tables to sit at. However, that said, it was in a good location for an airport.
- 3/5
Shuttle service is excellent! No light in hall when I opened the door to the room. Shower water pressure great; but I stood in water above my ankles and the tub took a long time to drain. Room is old, but clean.
- 3/5
Airport shuttle worked well.Front desk unhelpful when tried to use business computer to print my boarding pass . Room clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Airport shuttle service was convenient. I also appreciated their thoughtful service.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were really nice and helpful. The night lady could be nicer
- 5/5
Nice clean and comfortable hotel. It was conveniently close to the airport. The shuttle was a plus.
- 4/5
Good price and convenient shuttle service to JFK airport.
- 2/5
Need to update rooms
- 3/5
Not worth the money
- 3/5
The airport shuttle was the best part of our short stay. Getting to and fro JFK. The pillows were so hard, I still have neck pain
- 5/5
Once I claimed my baggage, I called the hotel and was given direction. I had to take an AirTrain to Federal Circle to be picked up by the Hotel Van. I waited about 5 minutes for the van. The drop off is the same. A great deal of walking with luggage. The Airport is under construction.
- 5/5
Fgjkk y ewe
- 3/5
The airport shuttle was not on schedule, every hour on the hour; we waited 45 minutes for them to pick us up at the airport.
- 5/5
NA
- 5/5
Everything was good. The hostess at night was mostly helpful. Donna is her name, she was great, she made the stay much more pleasant. Thank you.
- 4/5
Shuttle OK, but crowded
- 5/5
Clean room and customer service was on point!
- 4/5
If you just need sleep on a layover and aren't picky about food, this spot will do the trick at about $200-225 less than TWA hotel.
- 4/5
The airport shuttle was not there for an hour after I arrived. Very slow service
- 5/5
Comfortable rooms for the price. The guy who checked us in was interesting. I asked to be on the shuttle list for 6 am. He proceeded to tell me about his horrible experience coming in to jfk. How we will be lucky to get thru security in time...on and on. LOL. In the morning the shuttle.got us there just fine, we were thru security quickly and all went well.
- 2/5
As basic as it gets.
- 3/5
The front desk staff was very friendly and nice. The night time shuttle driver on October 18 (older white man) was very personable and nice. The shuttle driver the morning of October 19 (younger black man) was VERY RUDE. He never said that he was ready to load, he opened the back door of the van and just stood there while guests had to load their own luggage, never spoke a word the entire drive to the airport. Didn’t take us to our terminals, he dropped us off at Federal Circle. Got out, opened the back door of the van and just stood there while the guests had to unload their luggage. He never spoke a word. Perhaps not the right job for him.
- 5/5
Good service
- 2/5
The shuttle was punctual ,the driver was kind and provided all the necessary information. The room was smelly and dusty with the scent of sewer gas coming up from the drain in the shower.
- 5/5
Very convenient to jfk with free parking
- 3/5
Shuttle was workable
- 3/5
Airport shuttle was early
- 4/5
Nice
- 3/5
However, the shuttle service from the airport was a hassle. We waited for an hour in bad weather, which definitely added to the stress. We were told we missed the shuttle, even though we never left the pick-up location. Another guest had been waiting the whole time too. Other shuttle drivers even asked who we were waiting on, then mentioned it was a common issue. Eventually, the shuttle driver showed up and immediately accused us of not waiting and tried to start an argument. Not the best approach to customer service. On the bright side, there was a fast food place right next door to the hotel, which made it easy to grab something quick and get some rest before our early morning flight. The return shuttle to the airport also ran every hour on the hour, which was really convenient. The lady at the front desk was really kind, and the early-morning shuttle driver was fantastic—he definitely helped balance out the negative experience from the night before. Overall, we’d stay here again, but it wouldn’t be our first choice unless price was the main factor. For the value, though, it’s not a bad option.
- 2/5
There were no USB ports in the room and the regular two pin blight with the USB socket in the back, kept falling out. The breakfast ideal of all you wanted was cereal
- 2/5
The shuttle was difficult to find and we waited over 45 min due to construction, which the hotel was not great at communicating.
- 4/5
Convenient hotel with shuttle access to JFK. Planes were a bit noisy.
- 5/5
Service is excellent, shuttles very good with a very friendly and respectful personal
- 2/5
The staff was rude.
- 5/5
Convenient airport shuttle.
- 3/5
It’s not fancy, but was clean. Not located near anything. Good for one night just passing through.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
The hotel room and general area were very clean. We receieved a warm welcome and a lot of help from staff. The airport shuttle was right on time and even took us to the train station. Everyone working there was very helpful. We definitely plan on staying there again next year.
- 4/5
Clean room near dining facilities. Hot drinks available 24 hours and free transport to JF K airport 24 hours.
- 5/5
Quietly and safe
- 4/5
Generally very good, although breakfast no where as good as they advertise
- 5/5
To move about from this location.

- 5/5
This a very convenient place near JFK. Though the decor is dated, it is very clean and has nice amenities for a layover. The bed was comfortable and the towels were thick and fresh. The staff was cordial especially the housekeepers.
- 1/5
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel is located far from the airport — it took me 20 minutes by Uber and cost $45. I messaged the hotel three times about the promised free shuttle — no one ever replied. When I arrived at 8 PM, exhausted after a long international flight, two women at the front desk were loudly eating foul-smelling food and made no effort to assist me. Their attitude was shockingly rude and dismissive. It felt like I was interrupting their break rather than checking into a hotel I paid for. They gave me a room with a broken toilet. When I politely reported the issue, they yelled at me like I was the one who damaged it. Eventually, after delays and more unprofessional behavior, I was given another room — even worse, with a disgusting smell. I was too tired to argue again or move my luggage one more time. The rooms are filthy, outdated, smelly, and the bathrooms are falling apart. Zero attention to guest comfort. They also claim to offer breakfast — don’t believe it. It was literally dry slices of cheap toast thrown on a table. Nobody touched it. I wouldn’t serve this to anyone, let alone call it breakfast. The area around the hotel feels unsafe, especially at night. It was hard to even get an Uber. Going to or from Manhattan will easily cost you over $100 round trip. There is absolutely no reason to stay here unless you enjoy wasting money
- 3/5
The room was quite.
- 4/5
Staff was ok and room was clean. Except for the rugs. They were filthy and I know this because my white socks were BLACK. The hotel's breakfast wasn't even breakfast. hard Bagels and pound cake. The hotel is old ! It needs simple USB plugs like all the other hotels. Free parking was great ! Location was Great, the bed was very comfortable. Just the entire hotel was beat up and in need of updating especially for the price. Cleaning Staff were wonderful also.
- 5/5
It is a distance from jfk. It the shuttle is free and gets you there
- 2/5
the room quite smelly of humid and dirty feet stinky, however it seems clean to eyes, ask front desk staff to come and spray of lysol without anyone coming all night, geography location is very good
- 5/5
Great as before
- 4/5
The place is clean only one driver o don’t like is American white ald men with clases is acting ignored me I said thanks don’t answer.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Eazy to get to train stations and jfk airport ect. Fine for a night
- 5/5
Just wish water will be avalable at the moning buffet.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, helpful staff,a laundry room
- 5/5
very convenient for me to the airport and all areas.
- 4/5
Helpful and friendly staff, decor might not be to everyone’s style but the room was spotless.
- 5/5
Ithe property was clean and neat. My only wualm is that the rooms are tight. The only way to relax is to lay on the beds. There wasbsrely rnough room to move around the room. For this resson i think its overpriced
- 4/5
I found someone's hairs in shower bath tub and bed. I think you must do double check after made
- 5/5
I loved my stay at the hotel...it was quaint and clean. The breakfast was great and the shuttle was very convenient. Also, the staff was friendly and pleasant. I would stay there again for sure.
- 4/5
The room is/was clean, the front desk clerk was extremely helpful. no complaints. I am only staying for one night while i'm waiting on an international flight, so i do not care about the surrounding area and didn't try to check it out.
- 4/5
Hotel is an older facility but spanking clean. Rooms are simple and are absolutely fine for an airport facility. Not fancy but a good place to stay.
- 4/5
Nice to have an airport shuttle and breakfast snack on the way out in the morning.
- 4/5
The shuttle was punctual, but I didn’t realize that it would be a half hour wait once I called the hotel. That might be normal for JFK, though. I was in and out in less than 8 hours, so I don’t have too much else to add. I was exhausted when I got in, and the bed was comfortable.
- 3/5
We booked because of proximity to airport and advertised offer of complimentary shuttle to and from JFK, leaving every half hour. I was surprised to learn at check in that the shuttle leaves every hour. This was not ideal because we didn't need all of that extra time, and they really should update their site. Overall, it's a very basic hotel that could use some upgrades.
- 5/5
It has a parking lot
- 4/5
Everything was great! Check in and check out was easy and smooth. Staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. The only thing was the shower head. They definitely need replacing.
- 2/5
Airport shuttle was easy to find. Staff was friendly. Facilities were terrible. The shower head dripped water making showering impossible. The bedding was torn and carpet stained. Feels old and needs some serious updating.
- 5/5
Great hotel, a little dated but well kept and clean. Beds comfortable and A/C excellent. Decent breakfast and great free access to the LA fitness which is a 10-12 minute walk away. Great shuttle service to JFK too.
- 3/5
Good
- 5/5
We love staying at Five Towns Inn when we have an overnight layover, which is several times a year. They have a free shuttle, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and there is a nearby Target and pharmacy if we have forgotten something we need for the trip. Plus the staff are very helpful.
- 4/5
Great

Old. Small old tv, no modern hookups - no charger outlets. Needs an overhaul.
- 4/5
Clean room, good staff and shops nearby
- 3/5
Tub drain was broken. Room was in need of some upgrades. Bed and pillows were less than comfortable. TV was the size of toaster. Staff at the desk was rather aloof. Cleaning folks were nice and got tipped.

Fastest Internet will be appreciated as it keeps On and Off all the time

The rooms are not too good
- 1/5
This is not even worth two stars—it deserves negative one. Do yourself a favor: spend an extra hundred dollars and book a better hotel. Stay far away from this dump.

Room is clean and shuttle bus drivers are very kind and nice

Very good. No problem.

The check-in experience was wonderful. The shuttle driver was nice - helpful and professional. Donna in reception was a joy to meet after a long day of travel - she was warm, welcoming, engaging and answered our questions helpfully. The hotel itself was clean, quiet and welcoming and presented very well on arrival. Only after checking in did we notice it does need some updates as there is some visible wear and tear in some places, and the elevator worked but did makes some noises that were a little scary. But, our room was clean and more than adequately appointed for our overnight stay with a fridge and microwave. There is a 24-hr Burger King next door and other fast food/chainoptions available close by. Absolutely recommend for an affordable, clean, comfortable, close-to-the-airport option and will definitely book again.

Queen beds only that was horrible
- 2/5
Service was the best thing I could say about this place. Going up the slow beaten up elevator prepared me for a room not going to meet my expectations! Old decor, few towels ( one wash cloth, one hand towel and 2 towels), noisy air conditioner, dirty moldy ceilings, squeaky bed, no room coffee pot. I guess you get what you pay for, but the hotel rating was deceiving!!

This hotel is ok for a short layover. Our check in experience was not great, we felt like the lady at the desk had better things to do and she was not welcoming at all. We checked in at supper time and the area was great for options for fast food. We also enjoyed how close to Costco the hotel was. The shuttle was disappointing as it only runs on the hour. I have never saw a shuttle service that doesn’t operate at least twice a hour when they are an airport hotel. We never had the breakfast so I can’t speak about that. The room was extremely outdated but it was clean. I would not stay here again for the price. I would rather spend a bit more and get a better hotel.

It is my first time to using hotel pick service at JFK airport and I encounter a problem in find the placing. I called the front desk several times to guide me. The person on the front desk is nice and solve the problem.

The breakfast is limited with no hot choices but it’s an easy walk to other options. Sherwood Diner just up the street is excellent.

The room space
- 5/5
The room was fine for the night before our flight, but it is a bit loud with traffic and airplane noise
- 4/5
Property was clean and convenient. Transport to the airport was easy and driver was friendly and drove well.
- 5/5
One night stay since our flight got in late an we were too tired to drive home 2 hours.
- 4/5
Tired decor but staff excellent.
- 4/5
Very old rooms and not dusted. Old furniture, not enough towels. Not worth what I paid.
- 5/5
Very clean.
- 3/5
Breakfast options were very limited. We were unable to turn off the air conditioning in our room
- 3/5
Bath tube shower was clogged. Breakfast is very poor in options. It doesn’t worth $ 205,00. Expensive!
- 4/5
The staff at the hotel were lovely and so accommodating.
- 3/5
If you are traveling with a lot of bags, having to take the 30 minute hike to Federal Circle especially if there’s no luggage carts available just doesn’t work
- 5/5
Everything was clean and good
- 5/5
The woman at the reception desk was extremely helpful, friendly and polite. The room is spacious and clean. I appreciate the high speed wifi.
- 4/5
They don’t charge for parking. Room is clean

I protest the rapacious fees of all airport hotels now! This hotel was ok but not a 250. Stay!!!
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean and staff was great! Continental breakfast area was very well maintained and organized and was constantly being replenished and cleaned. Super!
- 3/5
I didn’t like the small front lobby, which included the breakfast area, the small dated room with only one electrical plug. It was great exercise walk away from shopping… it’s ok for a night or two…shuttle to and from Airport
- 3/5
Too busy
- 4/5
Excellent for an overnight stay very close to airport. Property is dated but comfortable. They have a pick up and drop off to airport very convenient. Overall a good place to stay if just passing through.
- 4/5
This was a layover stay for 14 family members before we all went our different ways either air or ground. We had a large pizza party in the lobby area, no one bothered us. We cleaned up immaculate.
- 3/5
Very expensive for an extremely basic and dated hotel that isn’t even that close to the airport. Very clean and tidy and staff friendly. Shuttle only runs on the hour and due to the works at JFK you have to get the airtrain to meet it which easily adds 20 mins to the journey!
- 4/5
Offers great value for an airport hotel, second time used. However their bus shuttle to JFK is not ideal when flying in from UK. They need to email customer sooner to explain rather than leave you sitting for hours after a long haul flight!
- 5/5
The way they treat us was excelent.
- 5/5
This hotel is easy to find and very convenient to JFK airport and other shopping.
- 5/5
It is in an otk area on a very busy I
- 5/5
With hotel prices skyrocketing in NY, this property offered a clean, comfortable reasonably priced place to stay that is close to JFK Airport.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed twice at this property, both times, I’ve had an excellent experience with the folks at front desk! Super kind, very helpful!!
- 5/5
We stayed one night prior to our flight. Staff was amazing and very accommodating with our early arrival. They welcomed us to have coffee and breakfast. We were able to check into our room an hour early. This is an older hotel and could use some TLC in certain areas. Beds comfy, pillows terrible. Overall served our purpose. Area is busy but it’s city so we expected that. But plenty of shopping and dinning close by.

Our experience at Five Towns Inn was good although we were only they're for 1 night. We received a very warm welcome from the dront desk manager (sorry I do not recall his name) but he was very friendly and helpful. The location was good with a variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance. If needing to overnight again we would definitely stay here again.

for a walk on the beach.
- 5/5
Very convenient in all aspects.
- 4/5
Old decor but good for one night layover. Good shopping within walking distance.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable and convenient
- 4/5
Very reasonably priced and clean inn. Close to airport. Shuttle bus to airport was a plus. The only reason not a 5 star rated feedback is because the free breakfast was pedestrian.
- 4/5
I had a long layover rather than sticking around the airport. I came to the hotel for a few hours of sleep and took the shuttle back in the morning. The front desk agent was absolutely lovely. And it was great to have coffee and snacks to grab on the plane for breakfast.
- 3/5
The location is great, walking distance to food areas, shopping and a Costco. The shuttle service to and from the airport is very convenient. The rooms need upgrading. The rooms are not very clean. The staff at the front desk not friendly or courteous. The shuttle drivers are very nice.
- 4/5
Most of the staff were friendly
- 4/5
Great location for just an over night close to JFK. Staff very friendly and thoughtful. Nice breakfast. My only concern is the window air conditioner was very dirty (filthy). This can contribute to poor air quality or illness. suggest cleaning and providing maintenance to the air conditioning to ensure good health quality and system life.
