Reviews
The hotel is praised for its excellent location, with many attractions and public transportation within walking distance. The staff is consistently described as friendly and helpful. However, there are frequent complaints about the elevators being slow and the breakfast area being small and crowded. Some guests also mention issues with cleanliness and room size.
- Excellent location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Slow elevators
- Small and crowded breakfast area

Our stay was fine, nothing fancy. Breakfast was good, bed was comfy (except for the pillows), and we had a view of the wall from the building next door. I’d stay again though, especially for the location.
- 5/5
It was all wonderful!!!
- 3.5/5
The room was fine. Breakfast was good. I liked how close the location was to the subway entrance. the sink counter was broken and poorly "repaired". My biggest issue was how unsafe the bathroom was after showering. The tile was extremely slippery. I almost fell multiple times. Other than that the room was good.

Location and that’s it There was brown stains on sheets, a human tooth in the bath tub and a contact lens stuck on the door. And the other contact lens on the ground . The room was very dirty for $400 a night.

Personnel at the front desk very nice and helpful. Recommend a higher floor due to lots of street noise.

Bag drop-off before check-in and check-in process went smoothly. Room was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was good. Location is superb: Herald Square station is at the end of the block and a number of sites (Times Square, Empire State Building, MSG, The High Line) are in easy walking distance. Air conditioning was a bit loud. Sounds of water draining in the bathroom were sometimes distracting at night.

The breakfast was a nice touch and staff were nice in the short interactions that we had. The location is strategic if you are planning on spending a majority of your time in midtown. We were given an Accessible room, which we don't mind, but was prominent that the bathroom sink was broken before - repaired, but still tilted and not smooth. The bedside lamps have different colors (one is yellow and one is white), which is a bid jarring. The room isn't that quite from the street noise, you can basically hear a good portions of Manhattan streets happenings, watch out if you are a light sleeper.

For over nighters who are checking out early there should be grace for an early check in especially if u are just arriving from long flights
- 2.5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff were attentive and helpful. Coffee and water were always available in the lobby. Breakfast was awful; there was nothing, only waffles were available. The room was stuffy due to its location; food smells came in when you opened the window. The air conditioner was very noisy. The room was uncomfortable.

Location is good on paper but that corner in particular was dirty with homeless people, but it’s central and close to bryant park. Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful. That’s about it. The hotel itself a bit dated with old furnitures. Then I didn’t get the room I booked because it was not available, only the room with twin beds, they said one bed was still big enough for two people we’ll just have two of them. Well, it wasn’t. Still don’t know why was I be able to book the room with king size bed in the first place if it wasn’t supposed to be available. So we had to sleep separately. The beds were the worst. They were too soft, unstable, and they were making loud creaky noises even when I just touched the bed. Floor was not really clean. The street is loud as hell, which is like normal in central Manhattan I know but the windows are not insulated like at all, you might as well just leave them open. The AC was so loud that we had to turn it off, it was horrible. Breakfast is very limited in a small space with only a few options without any vegetables.

One off my favourite hotels
- 4/5
Slow elevator but very good overall got the job done.
- 2/5
The room was smelling like pee when we first entered. Then they changed the room but the cost of the room was extremely high. Very small rooms and poor quality breakfast
- 5/5
Breakfast was fresh, location was perfect for our itinerary, room was clean, the air conditioning did not keep up, stayed stuffy and on the warmer side and made a struggling sound through our stay making it hard to sleep if you are a light sleeper
- 4/5
Decent breakfast. Nothing fancy.

The best I have ever been

Check-in was fine overall, although we were informed that one of the hotel’s two elevators was under repair and expected to be working again soon. Unfortunately, there was already a long line for the elevator, and we had to wait through two full rides before finally getting to our room on the 10th floor. The room itself was small, but clean and perfectly adequate for our stay. However, when we left the hotel later that day, both elevators were being worked on, and it took an extremely long time just to get down to the lobby. On the second day, the elevator was still not working, and the staff could not provide any clear information about when it would be fixed. By the third day, one elevator was still out of service, so I decided to cancel our final night at the hotel. The front desk staff was not very helpful with this request, but thankfully Expedia resolved the issue quickly and reimbursed us for the last night. To make matters worse, on our last evening there, the hotel left a notice in the room stating that there would be no water in the building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the following day. At that point, I was very relieved we had

Clean room, staff was good. Breakfast included.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful and attentive.
- 5/5
The staff was great and accommodating! I was able to check in early even with an upgraded room. I was able to see the Empire State Building from my window. The hotel is central to everything with easy access to the subway (literally a few yards from the front of the hotel). Affordable and just what I needed for a short trip. I highly recommend.
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 4/5
Buen hotel relacion calidad - precio.
- 4/5
Great location but little bit ran down.
- 5/5
The rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. The location makes using the subway very convenient. The staff are very nice and very helpful. The buffet style breakfast (included!) never ran out of food. I would stay here again.
- 2/5
An item was stolen out of my bag in holding. Could've been staff or a guest as I saw bags held in the lobby, but management was of no help nor offered any apology. I hate to blame staff as they seemed very nice, and I don't want to accuse anyone unjustly, but the fact is something went missing in their care.
- 5/5
Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y limpias, el desayuno muy bueno y la atención del personal muy buena
- 3/5
Good location right off the subway. The bed was hard and very squeaky and the pillows just went completely flat. Therefore not the most comfortable night sleep. The staff was friendly. The common areas need some serious updates. Couches and breakfast area all have stained upholstery which makes everything look dirty and run down.
- 5/5
All amazing
- 4/5
During breakfast, the couches were torn up
- 4/5
Buffet breakfast has a good variety of choices.
- 5/5
breakfast was different each day which was nice. rooms were clean and no wierd smells! fresh towels each day when we asked at the begining of our stay. we stayed for a week and loved it! good family hotel and very central to everything. subway stop right at end of street.
- 4/5
Everything was good, we could have used some water bottles in the room.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, slow elevators, great stuff and breakfast included is a huge plus
- 5/5
The room was great. Small but I guess for NY standards it was just perfect.
- 5/5
Nice breakfast. Room was spacious and clean. Courteous staff.
- 4/5
Breakfast was decent. Not just coffee. There were other choices
- 5/5
Great location, very comfortable beds, all clean. This isn't a luxury hotel but it was just fine for us. Great for the family on a budget in the heart of NY City! Staff very helpful & friendly. Lots of breakfast choices.
- 5/5
Bkfst was the typical Hampton Inn. Not a delicacy but nutritional and okay
- 4/5
Hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. Beds and bathrooms were clean. The property looks a little beat up. You can tell a lot of people run through it. The beds were clean and comfortable. The rooms are tight, we had two beds and it was hard to navigate with our large luggage. Breakfast was mediocre. The location is great.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and always willing to assist in what. you need.

- 2/5
A staff member there named Luis was very attentive during breakfast in the afternoon he’s very friendly to people
- 5/5
Had a one night stay, room was clean and comfortable temp considering weather that week. Location was close to time square and down the street Subway access so getting around was not a problem. Offered to store my luggage during checkout since we had an evening flight. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast:( I plan to stay here again on my next visit.Hopefully longer this time.
- 5/5
Our stay at this Hampton Inn was overall very good, it's a solid option for those looking for a cozy, clean space with good amenities and friendly, attentive staff. Free breakfast was a nice perk for us, plus afternoon cookies and snacks for purchase in the lobby. The location is great for going to shows, shopping, and public transit.
- 4/5
The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, but the staff was very nice and the hotel quite clean.
- 3/5
Was ok, room was ok too

I recommend this property for others. My travel was with my 2 teenagers. They were happy with the free breakfasts and proximity to their genre of shops.

Staff was kind and helpful, the hotel was conveniently located close to Penn Station which made getting to and from the airport quite easy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had excellent lighting. Everything I needed and will suggest this hotel moving forwards!

Room was next to a hotel workers’ machine and started making loud noises from early morning 5am. Noise was so loud that I could not sleep. On the third day I made a complaint.
- 4/5
The positive aspects are a good breakfast, a 24-hour coffee and tea area, and a convenient location close to the subway and within walking distance of many attractions. I would also like to note that the kitchen staff were very kind, attentive, and fast, which made breakfast more enjoyable. The first disappointment was that we arrived a little earlier and were not given a room, even though other guests were checked in before us. The woman at the front desk was not very friendly, especially compared to Antony, who was much more pleasant and helpful. Another issue was the condition of the lobby and dining area. The sofas in the lobby are dirty and torn, and the leather on the dining chairs is cracked, which gives a poor first impression. Regarding housekeeping, towels were replenished and the bed was made, but the floor was never cleaned, and there was a noticeable amount of dust.

The day before we were leaving, I checked the food and found that he made regular scrambled eggs. The breakfast was not healthy at all anyway, so I guess I really didn’t miss too much of anything

Clean rooms, staff were great
- 5/5
We had a nice stay at the Hampton Inn. The staff was very friendly and accommodating at all points during our stay. They stored our bags before check-in and after check-out without charge. The hotel was clean - common areas, breakfast room, hallways, and the room. The room was in really good shape, looking new or new-ish. Beds were comfortable and the room was more spacious than most of the other NYC hotel rooms we've stayed in. The Hampton Inn was one of the cheaper hotels in the mid-town area when we booked it ended up being a great spot in addition to a good value.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly
- 5/5
Este hotel esta muy bien ubicado. La atencion es siempre buena. Desayuno completo y habitaciones lindas y limpias.
- 3/5
I think mentioning the Empire State Building was misguided. It should have been 35th Street-Herald Square. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was great! The room was small and lacked closet space. The bathroom was workable but needed more towels before we requested them. Overall it worked for a quick in and out visit.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the top floor and had a great view of the Empire State Building!

Staff was friendly and helpful. We did not check out the breakfast. Everything was clean.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! There was a full breakfast each day with many items to select from. It couldn’t have been any better because of the wonderful staff and location.
- 5/5
Word of advice— it’s an older building and the elevators can be slow. The higher floors aren’t worth the time it takes to get up and down with all the stops.
- 5/5
I did not receive a text or an email about this. This Could have been easily fixed with another card had I known. My wife and I have been staying at Hampton for years. Let’s communicate. Thanx
- 5/5
The room was clean and accommodating for our short visit to NYC. Everyone at the front desk area was pleasant and welcoming. The fresh cookies and hot chocolate were a hit with my daughter. The location was perfect!
- 5/5
My husband and I booked this property during a very brief trip to NYC and are so glad we did! The hotel was central to just about everything, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, especially Herald Square and Macy's! The staff was also courteous and the complimentary hot chocolate and cookies was always a highlight to our evening after coming in from the cold. The breakfast was fine - pretty much on par with a hotel breakfast, but good enough to fill up our tummies before site seeing. The room was a bit small, but suitable for a couple with only carry-on luggage. Plus, we were barely in the room as we were out exploring most of the time! I definitely recommend and we will certainly be back.
- 5/5
Fine
- 4/5
Room is neat, daily cleaning service. Breakfast was so good. Also, unlimited Coffee. Free Cookies and hot chocolate in the afternoon. Hotel Location is very close to Time Square, Bryant’s Park and etc.. Overall hotel experience was great. I will definitely staying in here next time.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable
- 4/5
Good breakfast, only disappointment was AC in room very noisy but overall nice stay
- 4/5
Short 2 night stay. Being steps to Macys and Subway was perfect for our holiday intake of NYC. Front desk was able to handle our bags before and after check in/out so we could extend our time in the city. Room was clean. Some things they could work on… new pillows (bed was fine), better functioning TV remote, and putting the cleaning cart away. We seriously had to maneuver around it the whole trip. Not a huge deal, but we saw the cart and never saw cleaning staff lol. But we would definitely stay again and no hesitation in recommending.
- 5/5
Great staff, clean, and great location
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean and were cleaned everyday! Location was excellent, we were able to walk to Times Square and the Empire State Building. We caught a cab to the Plaza and walked back to the hotel down 5th Ave, checking out the holiday displays and Rockefeller Center. Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Clean, great view of empire State building. Nice people working at front desk!
- 4/5
The room was fantastic a little smaller than we thought but was good staff was excellent and always so polite
- 5/5
Our room had a great view from the 8th floor. The staff was very helpful and gave us a restaurant recommendation. The freshly baked cookies in the afternoon was awesome. The breakfast area was kept well stocked with good food options. We really enjoyed our stay. The location can't be beat.
- 3/5
need to call the front desk to get a hair dryer, and also the wifi is difficult to connect. bathroom is tiny. but the room is clean and the location is great. the valet is nearby but the hotel offered discount is only few dollars less than the regular price.
- 4/5
Room was clean
- 5/5
Excellent location to stay for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
- 5/5
Laura at the front desk was helpful with a bubbly personality, room was very clean, breakfast attendant worked very hard and was very polite. Excellent location and would stay here again.
- 5/5
Loved location. Clean rooms Staff courteous. Downers: Flushed too low Butter hard.
- 3/5
Room had poor lighting and very tiny. Breakfast was good and a plus traveling with kids
- 3/5
I'll start with the good: This hotel was priced affordably and was a very convenient location to the train station and the subway. It also isn't a bad walk to the theaters. The staff was friendly, allowed us to check our bags easily and we were able to check in right at 3. However, our room left something to be desired. Some of the issues we encountered might have been unique to our room. The door wasn't hung properly so there was a gap that let in light in the upper left corner. We were also right next to the ice machine and a room that held house keeping things so there was a ton of noise outside of our room, all of which could be heard in our room. If you're looking for a cheap, convenient place to stay, this could be great for you. If you are looking for a restful place to stay, look elsewhere.
- 5/5
The hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff was exceptional, the beds were immaculate, and the breakfast was delectable. It is an ideal hotel for first-time visitors to New York City.
- 5/5
Breakfast varieties are good. Everyday has something different 👍
- 3/5
Just ok
- 5/5
Yes very nice staff clean room comfortable just maybe since it’s winter a heavier quilt great breakfast elevator was no problem
- 5/5
Breakfast was a 7/10. The room was clean & staff was pleasant and helpful.
- 5/5
Nothing special just a good clean hotel easy check in and check out great location and free breakfast
- 4/5
The only downside to the hotel was it was very noisy 2 nights out of our 4 night stay. Our rooms were at the front of the building. Maybe rooms at rear of building would be quits
- 2/5
Clean bed about the only thing I can say
- 3/5
Laura Lopez, front desk evening manager was excellent! She helped with maps, transportation issues. Whatever request we asked she was so professional, no matter what request she was extra ordinally helpful and greeted each request with a smile. A true asset to the Hilton organization.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Close to subway station and within walking distance to many sites.
- 5/5
Friendly staff good location.
- 1/5
For the room rate, the place is crappy overall, like a Motel 6 in Topeka. Not that I've ever been to Topeka, but it's how I would imagine it to be. I'll never stay here again. Well, maybe if they proceed the rooms as if it were a Motel 6 in Topeka. It's pretty clear they are not counting on repeat biz to stay in biz.
- 4/5
Great location - close to all the main attractions
- 3/5
The hotel needs some updates and fixes. Even the elevator buttons need new light bulbs. The Empire view is a waste of money due to a rooftop night club across the street that goes till 4am. We had to move to the back of the building which was quiet. Never book a room with an Empire State Building view at this hotel. Breakfast was just okay, not very good overall. Great location and for NYC a decent price.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and answered all our questuons in a friendly manner.
- 4/5
Clean room. Nice staff
- 5/5
We loved our vacations.
- 3/5
Room smelled odd. Everything seemed just a little old and worn.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and room was clean.Location is excellent ,walking distance to everything,
- 2/5
The location of the hotel was centrally located, and the desk agent was friendly each day. As a budget hotel room, it did have a good amount of room space and lots of outlets. The room seemed relatively clean, but the bathroom had some hair in the shower when we arrived, very slow moving drains and an inconsistent toilet. The beds were very uncomfortable (hard, squeaky, wire frame pushing up.) It’s all relative, but in my opinion this hotel cost more than it was worth.
- 5/5
Staff were helpful. Admired the way in which a staff member worked with another patron., calmly and took the time to help out.
- 5/5
Really friendly staff. Always greeted us, very genuinely nice. The elevators and hallways could use some updating. Overall our stay was great.
- 5/5
Staff was always helpful and sincere, especially Sinsir, the front desk personnel and the front door security
- 5/5

From check in to check out it was great. Great location, clean, courteous staff, breakfast was plentiful.
- 5/5
Very walkable, though a long trek from the theater district we came home from late at night. Friendly and helpful staff. The bed was super comfortable.
- 5/5
In general, good stuff good hotel, and good breakfast. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Was a good place to stay. Close to subway.
- 4/5
.
- 4/5
The breakfast was not good at all. Very poor quality eggs and bacon. However, we would stay again as the overall experience was very good.
- 4/5
The sound from outside can be heard in the room on the 18th floor, so assume it’s worse on floors lower.
- 1/5
Hotel is NOT sound proof. Nights are miserable.
- 4/5
Hair and other items remained on floor after cleaning.
- 5/5
The staff was very knowledgeable of the area and so very friendly. The street around the hotel was dirty and a little noisy but that is to be expected in NYC. It was a short walk to subway and had a variety of restaurants nearby. There were 2 homeless men laying on the sidewalk with signs but didn't bother passersby. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Would stay again.
- 4/5
The hotel is a great value with a good breakfast but be aware the rooms are small. Would be fine for a solo guest.
- 5/5
I love how close it is of the Madison Square Garden. Would definitely stay here for another concert again.
- 5/5
The Staff were amazing
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Great location!!!!
- 4/5
Front desk staff were particularly friendly and extremely helpful. Special shout out to Emanuel!
- 4/5
The property was clean and located in area where y we were able to walks to some of the attractions that we wanted to see. We’ve breakfast was convenient. What I didn’t like about the stay was the breakfast area was too small. The advertisement had a picture of a washer and dryer and they were not there. Other than that the rooms were clean the staff was friendly.
- 4/5
The property is well located for accessing all areas of Manhattan. The hotel is a little dated although staff respond to maintenance issues quickly and the team on reception are helpful.
- 5/5
Property, staff and location are all great. Staff certainly couldn’t do enough for us
- 4/5
Great location
- 1/5
This place is a Dump!! The nice person was. The Maid!!
- 2/5
The room smelled like mild dew, the bed had snot on the head board
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay. Staff courteous and professional. Room was very clean. Will recommend and go back in the future. Thank you so much!
- 5/5
Beautiful view to Empire State
- 4/5
Staff are friendly, professional & nothing is to much trouble.
- 5/5
Nice desk agents - Anthony helped me. The air quality got rated a C. Definitely would stay here again.
- 5/5
Everyone from the front desk, breakfast attendant (Louis) and maintenance was so helpful, friendly and attentive. The location was great for everything we wanted to do in Manhattan. Would happily stay again if we are in the area!
- 5/5
All was good
- 5/5
Great place to live, friendly staff and amazing breakfast, prime location for everything.
- 1/5
Not at all great check in experience, Were made to wait even at 2PM for check in, was not given higher floor, alll because booking was done with 3rd party.
- 4/5
The breakfast menu was decent and there was plenty of space to eat. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated that they stored my luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The only downsides were the street noise at night (understandable since it’s right in the heart of New York) and the slow elevators. Overall, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to New York.
- 5/5
It was luxuriously comfortable right in downtown Manhattan. Will definitely come back!
- 4/5
Ok, nice location
- 5/5
Perfect
- 4/5
Very comfortable! Morning breakfast was good. Great location and easy access to subways
- 5/5
Amazing experience, clean and affordable for in the heart of midtown. Would definitely consider again if i need an hotel room.
- 5/5
breakfast and cookies
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My room was clean and spacious. I think the floors are little bit scratched up. Elevator is little bit slow so I used stairs since I live on 3rd floor. I enjoy the breakfast and coffee. It was nice that you can leave your luggage before check in and after. The bathroom at lobby was hard to find it and it was not very clean. Maybe It was just my bad luck.
- 5/5
Location was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and hotel room was clean and decently sized for NY.
- 5/5
The location is perfect and the staffs are so friendly and hepful! They are always ready to help you and give you information about the surrounding area. Ivan is one of them. The breakfast is good, you can find almost all you need for the meal with fruits, protein, oats, yogurt and more. The room is in reasonable size in the center of NYC, I am very happy with it. The elevators are working properly although a little busy at breakfast time. The waiting time is also reasonable. I will come back to stay whenever I visit NYC.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good, just get there early... I will stay there again.
- 5/5
Very good hotel good breakfast
- 4/5
Great location, close to Broadway and shopping, near subway, quiet. Rooms are small, but it’s New York.
- 5/5
The room was clean and good size especially for NY. Every staff member we encountered were very friendly and helpful. This is a great location away from the heavy population area but close enough to walk to tourist sites. The breakfast had a great selection of items although we went at the busy time and had difficulty finding a seat. We did move to the outdoor table area which worked even better. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in NY. Our BONUS was a wonderful view of the Empire State Building from our window!
- 3/5
You can’t beat the location it’s right in Herald Square which is a great place to stay because it’s convenient to everything I will say that this hotel is pretty old and if you’re looking for comfort, especially as it relates to your bed this is maybe not the place for you
- 5/5

I have stayed at this property for a multiple day stay twice now. The location is super convenient, the breakfast is great and an easy way to get fueled up for a day around the city. I have stayed on the fourth floor and the 19th floor and both were relatively quiet from street noise. The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is compact but very clean. Will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay! Staff are very helpful with any questions you have including directions! Very helpful when I needed medical help! Room was very clean - breakfasts were great and changed daily. Very close to subway station and walking distance to the train station. Close to many sites you’d want to see.

It can be difficult to get an elevator in the morning simply because a lot of people are leaving at the same time. If you want breakfast, go down early or it is difficult to find a place to sit. They are doing their best with the space available, but it is cramped. Overall, it was a great stay!

Staff are very friendly, location is good, room is small for 4 people as advertised.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly yet professional!!
- 3/5
The hotel is good and clean. The staff are nice. However the bedframe is terrible, the mattress is not that good as well. The AC sometimes gets ON even if its OFF.
- 3/5
Very convenient location with subway station just steps away and Herald Square also around the block. The property itself is a average. Our AC was not cooling well and they couldn’t fix it and won’t even give a fan to help us keep cool so it was bit difficult 3 nights with kids. Breakfast is good but it’s a very small space and gets really crowded so if you are not there early before 730 good luck finding place to sit and have a peaceful breakfast.

The location was perfect on 35th street with the subway close by. The front desk staff was always friendly & co operative . The rooms were clean, bed comfortable and the cooling in the room was optimal. The breakfast was nice. The tea coffee at the lobby level, available all day was a good grab and go feature. The afternoon cookies at the reception were yum. Definitely a place to return.

Staff was amazing
- 4/5
Room was clean, bed very comfortable, very well air conditioned on a hot day. Good shower pressure and temp. Check in was super quick and convenient. Only downside is that sounds travels very easily. I was apparently on a busy floor, and heard noise from next door and in the halls.
- 4/5
Everything was perfect, I just wish the beds were slightly better.
- 3/5
The lobby sitting area and breakfast area are small with limited options. The breakfast provided was adequate, but nothing special at all. The staff was very friendly. We did have a conflict with our reservation via Expedia and we were advised we had to vacate our room 1 day earlier than I'd expected. The desk staff were firm, yet kind, and did work to find us an emergency 1-day stay at an adjacent facility.

Great staff, location is amazing. Clean rooms, a bit small bur NYC standard. I stayed 7 days and have stayed here a few times. Always a pleasure.

Great locqtion and staff was super friendly

I was delighted, not only to be in Korea town but next to one of the more popular restaurants. The location was sublime. I’m already planning my next stay. It’s the only part of the city that I never lived in. GREAT for Macy shopping; 5th Avenue or subway…Planet Fitness if you can’t get your steps in (Manhattan, really?)! ENJOY

The staff is nice and always willing to assist and answer questions. Fresh delicious cookies at check in, teas, coffee, hot chocolate complimentary at any time of day in the lobby. There is a vending machine with some snacks and noodle bowls. Microwave available in lobby. Downfall they are strict with 11am check out, doors self slam to their rooms so you are guaranteed to hear them throughout the day depending on who your neighbours are. Elevators are packed around 9:15/9:30am as everyone is running down for the last hour of free breakfast. Black out drapes and a seated patio in front of the hotel is great.

The complimentary breakfast was also impressive with hot and cold offerings - three cooked items that varied from day to day along with bagels, bread/toast, porridge, cereal, waffles, fruit, fruit juice, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

For the price you pay in Manhattan, I believe this is one of the best options available.

Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious for NY. Many attractions near by, easy walk.

Enjoyed my stay and the staff was awesome!

Not the hotels fault but beware when you book through Expedia. I booked a view of the Empire State Building, and didn’t get it at all… prepare to look out the window and only be able to see face of another building no matter what room your in. I called Expedia to get them to change my room but they didn’t do anything to make up for their lies. No price deduction or upgrade or anything. I would not recommend Expedia to anyone.

Stayed 2 nights in the city. The mattress was terrible it was sinking and I could feel the springs. The room was very small even for Manhattan standards. Needs a makeover. One elevator was out of service.
- 5/5
Staff was really helpful and friendly
- 4/5
Perfect location, busy elevators at breakfast time. Would stay again.
- 3/5
bed had a horrible noise every time you dat or moved on it. Elevator was down for most of our visit which made mornings difficult getting out
- 4/5
Great place to stay. Easy to get to most places
- 4/5
It was a well maintained hotel with courteous staff. Only issues were that 1 of the elevators was down during part of ourxstay causing very long elevator waits. The other issue was that the temperature in the room was very hard to control.
- 5/5
This Hampton was very clean. The only issue is it's 20 floors and 1 elevator was out of service for half the time we were there. It took a long time to get on as it was always full. I was on the 11th floor so I did go down the stairs but I wasn't going to walk up!
- 4/5
Two points on maintanance which i would raise. This is a 20 story Hotel with 2 elevators. Over the 3 day visit - one elevator went out of service and management placed a sign on the door. So - for the entire 3 days, everyone only had 1 elevator to go up/down (it would easily take 15min of waiting on your floor to get down to the lobby in the morning or around checkout time. The out-of-order sign was still there when i checked out. A second point - was that the AC in my room never seemed to work - even when the "cool" setting was set - the unit pumped out warm air all the time. I would complement the staff responsible for cleaning the rooms - they did an excellent job and were always friendly and helpful.

Very handy to subway and multiple dining options. The mattress was uncomfortable and we needed to get memory foam topper to fix. Unusual for a Hampton
- 4/5
The entire staff was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay there again. The view wasn’t great though, but it the hotel was within walking distance of Times Square which was what we really wanted.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Only thing that couhave been better would have been an early check in.
- 5/5
Guest arrival welcome was top notch! Gentleman let me store my luggage before my room became available for check in. Staff was friendly and supportive. Plus they offered cookies at check in!
- 5/5
It was perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Min walk to everything from Central Park, Radio City and the subway.

Should stay again
- 4/5
Could use some updates. Bathrooms are clean but the vanities have seen better days. The elevators are very slow and one was out of service during our stay for a little while. Friendly staff.

Great location and great staff
