    Check in, is 3 pm,however they do offer a complimentary bag Check service until your room is ready for Check in, which is very helpful, especially with timed activities. The view from the rooftop was nice but only open from 8 to 8pm. It would be nice to see the sunset or rise 😕 from the rooftop for nearly 400.00 per night. Great stay all and all, continental breakfast was just that. It was free food.. waffles, sausage links and scrambled eggs. Just there.. NO WELCOME TO NEW YORK FLAVOR.

    We had a good time here -- the location and free breakfast was a draw as were the big rooms and comfy beds. The elevator situation made things very difficult for a lot of people at check in and check out though. It might be a deal breaker in fact unless you are flexible. We often took the stairs (7th floor...but the hotel has many stories) when we did not have luggage out of necessity. Very clean and quiet.

    The property is well-located to Times Square theatres and eating establishments. The staff was very courteous and helpful in arranging transportation to Penn Station for us. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We would stay there again, as the price was almost half of other available Times Square hotels.

    Water pressure in the shower was terrible! Very low water pressure, which made it difficult to rinse long, thick hair. Elevators were fast and we never had to wait for more than a minute for one to arrive. Breakfast was more than adequate, but we had to leave pretty early, so weren’t really feeling hungry and didn’t eat much. But lots of nice offerings and plenty of tables & chairs at which to eat. Both check-in and check-out went quickly and smoothly with lots desk staff working efficiently and politely. We only stayed the one night.

    This is my second year at this hotel and this time, it didn't meet the expectation. One of the elevators were always down. The room was super filthy and if you were to turn the water to hot in the shower, there was a huge noise that would come on and the water would start shaking. The staff was hit/miss. There were some nice people and some didn't want to work. We asked for a mini fridge. When they brought it up, they left it in the middle of the room and lef! I had to push it in and plug it in. There was a knock on our door at midnight, a staff asking us if we asked for shampoo! It was wild!

    I read some complaints about the breakfast area being too crowded- we never really had that issue. Breakfast was the standard free breakfast food, but we did appreciate that they had numerous waffle makers. It was a bit congested but very doable. Patience and courtesy seemed to be the norm. Also, the staff handling luggage storage before and after check-in were great. They offered help with transportation and tourist info and tips. Also we appreciated that after a certain time, there was a security person at the door to ensure people entering were actually hotel guests. We would certainly stay here again.

    Staff all A+ for friendliness and assistance. Joe at the concierge desk is particularly efficient. Great location for Broadway shows or access to convenient mass transit and routes to all parts of Manhattan. Recommend staying on higher floor to be above majority of street noise. But this being NYC you will still detect some commotion below. I’d stay again.

    Central location Constant loud construction noise all day and night (midnight to 7am was.the worst) even through closed windows and curtains. We should have been forewarned and given the chance to book a room on the other side of the hotel or get a discount if this was not possible. Breakfast was underwhelming with under average food quality, paper plates and plastic cutlery.

    Breakfast was too crowded and very few options for dietary restrictions. We had a mini fridge last time but not this time. And the thing that is really stressful is the elevator situation. It took us 30 minutes to get down today as we were trying to leave. We almost incurred a penalty with the airport shuttle for being late.

    Our experience was wonderful. Clean room, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff. I asked every am which subway to take they helped me every time with a smile on their faces. Location was good. Room view was good. And real nice place to sit down in the lobby. We played cards there. Ate snacks and ice water and coffee was available 24/7.

    Not a good experience overall. The outside of hotel was extremely loud, especially at night, making it very difficult to sleep. In addition, the staff were rude and very impatient when we asked for assistance, which made the experience even worse Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

    Hotel has a very nice location, excellent staff and it is very clean. I would recommend it to everyone because it is also budget friendly. Breakfast... 5 items are available and cutlery was all plastic. They say it's recyclable, but I'm not really buying that (smells more like corporate cost cutting to me). For the price charged per night, the assortment of breakfast items is really bad and should really be better.

    We’re were very happy with the room size (we had a two double-bed room). The room was very clean. The staff was exceptional…very friendly and helpful. Someone texted me daily to see if we needed anything. The hotel is one half block off of Broadway and walking distance from many theatres. This hotel had a breakfast buffet daily which had your standard hotel chain food and was just ok. It got very crowded late morning so go early for best selection.

    The is in a great location just off Time Square so not far from most plsces. It is close to a metro station. The hotel is ok, just a base to sleep in and get free coffee in the lobby. Our room was clean and tidy and was ok.

    For the most part, our stay was great. Our bed was so comfortable, and a nice hot shower! Hotel is in a great location for navigating around the city. Subway is easy to catch nearby. Times Square and Theaters are all within walking distance. Staff are helpful and willing to store luggage on arrival and departure days. Must have Carnegie Pizza (just a few doors away) at some time during your stay! We love Hampton Inns for their breakfast options, however this hotel could improve on this. It was "okay" - could have offered fresh fruit, and have the hot food be "hot" - not lukewarm/cold. That is about my only complaint about the hotel. We'd definitely stay there again, on our next trip to NYC.

    The hotel was very nice! Very central location nice place. Times Square and Broadway shows close by. The staff was very friendly and we loved staying here. The breakfast was a good choice of food however, we only stayed there three days and the food was rotated, about every three days which was fine. The elevators take a LONG time. But all in all we would definitely stay here again for sure!

    The staff at this hotel were fantastic! They were friendly, helpful and had great suggestions when I asked for their opinions. They also told us about their car service which we used a few different times… highly recommend this! Especially when going to the airport.     Upon arrival the desk clerk did not greet me. Infact, he told me "I will be ready in 5 minutes I just got to work." . Meanwhile the other clerks ,there were two didn’t greet me either. Finally, a supervisor nonchalantly came behind the desk. I asked him if i could get checked in. The supervisor taps the third clerk who was engaged in a conversation the whoe time with some staff members. In total 6 mem standing around and not one said ," Hello, welcime to Hampton Inn.".Blackout curtains are not blacking out enough.They are not full length. Breakfast is missing the point. Yukon potatoes were very firm. I think they were under cookes and salty. I was a one night stay. I also could here alot if outside noise. So, I dont recommend.

    Friendly staff. They held our bags until our room was ready. I simply mentioned during check in that it was my niece’s birthday and they had a special treat and lovely card with decor in the room when we got in. It was a wonderful surprise and much appreciated. Breakfast was great and organized each morning. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Overall great stay.

The hotel does get busy so taking the elevator would take up to 15 minutes. Rooms were sort of clean and cleaning service didn’t do much other than change sheets and take trash out.

    Air conditioning was down 3 out of the 4 nights, maintenance came and fixed it and it went out again. We let the front desk manager know upon checking out and 4 employees chimed in on the air conditioning situation.. even the maintenance guy showed up trying to argue that it had been fixed! Very rude. 4 on 1. So unprofessional. Staff had no knowledge of the area. They had people standing out in the lobby acting as if they were there to help guests but were really just selling timeshares.

    The staff was very courteous and helpful. I had a questions which they answered promptly and provided information on how to get more details. The breakfast was great - excellent selection, well prepared, and a good sized staff to service the meal and keep the area clean. My room was spotless, very clean, comfortable, and quiet (which in NYC is amazing). Everything in the room and bathroom worked perfectly. The next time I need a hotel room in mid-town Manhattan, I will return to the Hampton Inn Times Square Central. Nothing. They did a great job on all items.

    The staff was nothing short of amazing. The hospitality that was shown was top tier. Adunni at the front desk was very professional and assisted my daughter and I with instructions on riding the subway. Mrs. Caroline Bálson in house keeping is so precious and kind.     Fast check in and check out. Even though the hotel is high rise there are three very fast elevators so there was no inconvenience. The interior feels recently renovated and very clean. Minor downsides are slightly low water pressure and a somewhat noisy heating system but at this price it is hard to find a better hotel. Excellent breakfast and outstanding value for the price.

    Yes, staff was courteous. However on two occasions, when I and other customers were at the front desk we were told that they were very busy and asked to please wait 5 minutes to be served. That's a bit unacceptable. One time maybe, but multiples times indicated maybe they are understaffed. I could have been in a rush and needed my concerns addressed immediately.

    The staff was great and the location is good. The breakfast is not good and the elevators are very slow. There are not enough elevators. You can wait a long time to find one not full. I’d recommend booking a lower floor so you can take the stairs. There aren’t enough blankets and bedding - it’s pretty sparse. Otherwise it’s ok.

    I would totally recommend this hotel. The staff 20/10 super nice and attentive. The breakfast buffet offers omelets, waffles, meat, corn flake, oatmeal, coffee, juices, bread, etc. Amazing location near Bryant Park, Times Square, Lyrics Theatre, Port Authority Bus Terminal (if you traveling using Newark this is a must). Everyone is so nice. The lobby smells SO GOOD all the time. They offer luggage drop off. Just book it, you are not going to regret it.

    Every desk agent I spoke to was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, central to everything there is to offer in Times Square and walking distance from all the restaurants and stores we wanted to go to. The room was very clean, room service visited every day. We were given extra towels and laundry bags when asked and the heat/thermostat worked pretty great considering it was very cold when we visited. The lobby was always clean and even though there was a considerable amount of people going in and out at all times of day and night, there were enough elevators to handle the foot traffic and we heard zero noise except for the occasional firetruck going down the street. There is a 24/7 coffee and fruit infused water bar in the lobby which was very convenient. It was also very nice if the desk agent to give us a snack and water bottles free of charge upon check in. The breakfast was okay, but considering you get what you pay for, we were prepared not to be impressed. There are plenty of places to grab breakfast and good coffee within walking distance if you’re picky. Also, our room was large, there was plenty of space to move around as both myself and husband are large bodied. I had no qualms about this hotel and would love to stay again in the future.

    Overall, I was disappointed. We did not receive the room that we booked. First, we called downstairs and were told we would get a call back. 10 or more minutes pass and nothing. We then called again and were put on hold, just to be disconnected. We went downstairs and when we told the front desk agent he just stared at us and didn’t say anything. He then handed our room keys to another agent who was on the phone. When she got off the phone they talked to each other about our concern instead of us, who were standing right in front of them. When they addressed us, they blamed in booking through a 3rd party app- which doesn’t help anything and just made me feel less than. We were offered a later check out time and a snack. The whole point was to have a staycation with one shared king bed to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. I live in NYC and would have found another hotel or maybe even stayed home. I’ll give them a thumbs up for comfort and cleanliness but the customer service was non existent. I hate complaining because I am also in the service industry but that’s why I do better with my guests.

    Sincere thanks to the staff for the wonderful hospitality during our stay. We were visiting my daughter at Columbia, and upon returning to our room, she was surprised with chocolates, a balloon, and a handwritten note congratulating her on her record-breaking basketball game earlier that day. This thoughtful gesture truly meant so much to our family. Rakib was very attentive as well and made our stay even more enjoyable. We very much look forward to returning in the future.

    The hotel is located in a very convenient area. There is cheaper parking just 3 minutes away, and Times Square is only 1 minute away. Madame Tussauds and Target are also very close. The hotel is clean, the staff is kind, and the breakfast is fresh. I think I would choose this hotel again for my next trip.

    Everyone of the staff members were so helpful & accommodating to our group from the time we arrived until we departed. I want to give a big shoutout to Nateli who worked the front desk. She had the sweetest disposition and always acted like she really enjoyed helping everyone with a smile on her face! There were several others like Nateli but I didn’t get their names.     The room was very clean. The breakfast was great and had a good variety of options each day. The only downside is that there was no on-site parking. The parking ramp is about a 5 minute walk, but the hotel does give a discount on the parking rate. Parking for a large SUV was $63/24hrs. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of everything though! They also have security at the entrance which was nice to see.

    We had a confirmed reservation through Expedia, and only hours before check-in my husband called to confirm details. That’s when the manager, Genesis, told us there was suddenly a “payment issue.” When my husband understandably became upset, because this was the first time we were hearing of any problem… she laughed at him and spoke in a dismissive, unprofessional manner. She then threatened to cancel our reservation, and without warning, actually did cancel it. We were never told the cancellation occurred. We only found out after calling Hilton corporate, who confirmed that the manager herself had canceled our reservation. By that point, we were already in New York City with a child during peak season, with no affordable options left. This experience caused extreme emotional distress and financial hardship. A manager’s role is to de-escalate and help, not mock guests and leave families stranded. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from hotel management, and I would strongly caution others before booking here.

    Upon check in we noticed righr away the shower was not draining. The TV did not work, and the lightening by the front door did not wrong. After we checked in I received a text asking how our room was. I responded asking if they could fix our TV. I was told they would shortly. After we returned to our room later that night, our TV was still not fixed. I responded again asking if someone could look at the TV. It took two whole days of back and forth texting with the hotel to have our TV repaired. I spoke to both Camille and Eddie several times who told me this would be resolved. It was not repaired until the last night of our stay. An “engineer” had to come to our room, spent over an hour repairing the lighting by the door and the TV. On the day of check out, I spoke to manager Daniel who said he would “comp our stay” for the ongoing continued repair issues for our room. Daniel has not gotten to back to us or refunded our stay. Do not stay at the location. Staff will over promise and not deliver on their word.

    My son and I stayed overnight. The room was nice and we had a great stay. The only problem I had was that the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. We checked out the next day. An hour later I realized that we forgot a bag in the room. The staff got right on it and we did get the forgotten bag that had souvenirs from the play we saw the night before. What a relief. I would definitely stay there again.

    Room was clean and comfortable. Location very convenient to Times Square. While we were happy to see they offered a breakfast buffet, it was the the usual motel fare. We would definitely stay there again.

    Welcome water bag on check in for members! A great work trip. Friendly courteous staff and security! Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious enough! Good walking distance to Times Square attractions, Bryant park, etc.

    Yes, the room was clean and the staff was very helpful. However, for three people the room was very tiny and cramped. I couldn’t believe I paid $600 a night for a broom closet!

    The hotel has all the amenities. Spacious and very clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. I love this hotel because you can find everything you need for a perfect stay in Times Square area and close to Broadway. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is excellent! It was a great choice!

    First time in New York. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome at all times. The hotel is steps away from Time Square. It was quiet enough for being so close to a busy area. would definitely recommend if you’re looking to be close to everything. The metro station is half a block from the hotel entrance.

    This was our first trip to Manhattan with our 13 year old daughter and we took the train in from Stamford. We arrived at noon hoping to store our 1 bag for a couple of hours and Eddie was able to check us in early! We were so appreciative of the staff making Madison’s first NYC experience even more special. We will be back for sure!

    Check-in was smooth despite not having the connecting rooms when I initially booked our rooms. Sonnie was quick to resolve the issue and arranged to have rooms next to each other on the same floor. When it was time to leave, Eddie and Joseph were very helpful with arranging ground transportation for our large group to Newark.

    Housekeeping left our room door propped open after cleaning. Elevators were slow, staff was ok but had a pushy doorman trying to sell us on their car service even after we confirmed we had a ride. WiFi was spotty and not a great place to take work calls.

    We had a lovely time at the Hampton Inn, it had everything we needed, very comfy bed, hot shower, free tea and coffee in reception and coffee maker in our room. Large tv, iron, ironing board and safe. Very close to Times Square, Bryant park and subway station. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future

    Perfect location for a New York City vacation!! Professional, friendly staff! Clean, quiet rooms. Free breakfast. Snack market. Daily texts reminding us that they were available to answer any questions or assist with anything we might need! They even arranged a driver to take us to the airport the morning of our departure!

    We really liked our stay at the hotel. We travelled as two families with five children including two infants. We stayed for two nights at Times Square. The only thing I did not like is that the rooms did not have a microwave. I had to make multiple trips to the lobby to warm up the food and especially milk for my children. Otherwise the complimentary breakfast was the best and prepared well. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff was very helpful.

    We stayed for 4 nights , a month before our trip we asked for al early check in with an option of paying extra fees because we flew for 15 hours with 2 kids , unfortunately our request was not taken seriously and we had to wait 7 hours to do the check in at 15:00, the room service was so poor and they didn’t really clean anything, , one day we asked them to come back cause when they came the kids were sleeping , we were told by the reception that they will take care of it , after coming back to the room at 21:00 we noticed that no one came. The location was great and had a lot of near attractions , the staff in the breakfast area were do kind and friendly!!

    The breakfast was minimal but nice. The man guarding the door at one point offered to give our children some gifts out of little treasure chest that they had and that was really sweet. Negative- the beds were not queen sized as booked and paid for. When we brought it up the woman at the front desk said "all of our beds are queen sized" which is just false. We measured the bed and it was a full, even though we have a queen sized bed at home and I knew it was not a queen sized bed. Also there are no staff elevators. The first morning we waited over 30 minutes for an elevator for breakfast. When I called the front desk to ask if this was normal the person at the front desk responded that yes it can be normal and that "that is why people usually request lower floors in the hotel" but this was not in any of the booking information that I received. Overall: I would definitely stay here again. I wasn't upset about the quality of the room or anything like that. It was more just like the idea that I wasn't getting what I paid for in some ways and then you know the pro tip about booking a lower floor. Obviously that would have been helpful to know in advance.

    The staff was great. They where very kind and helpful. We loved the bag check service and the front staff. My only complaint was the towels smelled funny and the soap wasnt full. The room was very comfortable though and the location was exceptional.
