Reviews
Guests generally express satisfaction with the hotel's location, staff, and cleanliness. The location is praised for its proximity to Central Park and the subway. The staff is frequently described as friendly and helpful. However, some guests express dissatisfaction with the room size and noise level.
- Convenient location near Central Park and subway
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Room size can be small
- Noise level can be high

The floor in room 1213 is coming apart a spot by the couch is a trip hazard. I’ve stayed at plenty of Hiltons over the years and this is not what I'm used to seeing.

This is a beautiful hotel near Central Park. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The customer service is top notch. We called housekeeping to get additional coffee pods and creamer and it was there within minutes. The front desk was absolutely kind and accommodated our request for a late check out without hesitation. Marquios and JB helped us with our luggage and answered any questions we had about maneuvering the city. A 24 hour pharmacy is across the street. Great restaurants are within a few minutes walk. Carnegie Hall is on the corner. Nordstrom is two blocks away. We walked to Broadway shows, but could have easily used the subway. We choose the exercise. We can not thank The Quin enough for our comfortable and welcoming stay!

Clean room. Most of the staff was wonderful.

The hotel wins on Location, Location, Location! Close to Central Park EVERYTHING is within walking distance without the noise and hassle of being in Times Square or in the middle of nowhere where. We spent five nights here and it was perfect for our needs - Broadway is close by and there are plenty of places to eat at all times of day and night and there is even a 24 hour supermarket with fresh fruit and pastries across the road. The staff at the hotel were great in particular the door staff. Highly recommended.

Just an overall great experience. Location, structure, extremely friendly and professional staff.

So close to great restaurants and Central Park.

Stayed at the Quin for a black tie event at The Plaza which is walking distance. 2 min walk with heels, perfect location for Columbus circle and Central Park too.
- 4/5
The location is perfect, steps to Central Park, 10 minutes to MoMA, 15-20 minutes to Rockefeller Center and other attractions. We liked our room; it was clean and spacious. Complimentary bottled water was a nice touch. Everyday cleaning was great; you feel welcomed each time you return from your walk. You don't hear noise from the street, and it has a great modern air-conditioning system. Very noisy in the morning. We came for a 1-week vacation from the West Coast and didn't want to start our day early due to jet lag. However, staff woke us up every day at 8 am when they loudly discussed their plan for the day, laughing and chatting. It was especially unpleasant to wake up from their loud voices near our door on my birthday on Monday.. Also, we missed a kettle in the room to make tea in the morning. The coffee machine didn't make clean hot water. It was nice to have complimentary coffee and hot water downstairs, but unfortunately, reception put it away at 10 am. Reception staff forgot to tell us about the restaurant onsite, and we couldn't use the promotion when we had dinner there.

The property is close to central park and is great for work trips as most of the offices are close from the property. There are plenty of restaurants close to the property. I would go back and stay here on my next visit.

Absolutely lovely hotel right in the middle of it all. Well maintained older hotel. Rooms cleaned every day. On site bar and restaurant. Helpful, friendly staff. Would stay here again!

This is shown as a 5 star but is definitely not, more like a 4 star. Rooms were nice- a good size and updated. The location was awesome being a block from Central Park. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Other than the gym, there are no amenities- not hotel restaurant or bar, no coffee shop, etc. no real lobby area to hang out, which is what helps make a nice 5 star. Also, there was a sewer smell in the front each time you walked in which was unappealing. Towels were super cheap and pillows could have been better.
- 5/5
It was a dream room. We stayed at the penthouse suite and what a beautiful view we had with a whole massive balcony privately to ourselves. Couldn’t have thought it such luxury in the heart of New York. Definitely booking this same hotel and room every time
- 4/5
My only issue with the stay is that they wouldn't accept my Hilton Honors number. Apparently when you book with Expedia, you don't get the Hilton points. The airlines and car rental companies don't work that way and neither should the hotels.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a lovely area with 3 subway stations within minute"s walk, and only one block from Central Park, Tiffany's and Carnegie Hall. New York is expensive, and this area particularly so, so brace yourself for $8 croissants and $5 bottles of water in the vicinity - sure it's all just part of the experience!
- 5/5
We have just returned from this Hotel and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect in the heart of Manhattan. You can get to the majority of sites easily on foot or alternatively it is superclose to a subway stop. Having the restaurant next door was also great for us for our first evening there and the food was lovely. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet. Nice to have coffee pods and water refilled daily. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful, the guys on the door were always very welcoming. We left our luggage on our final day until we were ready to leave for the airport which was a great help. The combination of modern facilities, attentive staff and a prime location made this Hotel the perfect base for exploring The City. We would certainly stay again. This is only a very personal thing but I don't like feather pillows.

- 4/5
The location is excellent, but the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or room service. It doesn’t have a spa either, which would have been nice, but the rooms were really spacious and modern , with engineered wood flooring which is great and hard to find in NYC. All together, it was a great stay.

Our air conditioning died on the third night. We contacted the front desk and they sent a guy up to change the filter. They said they were booked solid and couldn’t move us but would move us the next morning. No sorry no offering something to make it better. We went down in the morning to inquire about our move. The lady had no idea what I was talking about and rudely said that we would have to bring our bags down and they will try and move us. No offer to send someone to help us move bags. We finally got a message about an hour before our broadway show so we rushed over. The new front desk lady was so much nicer and apologized profusely. Her name was Danisha (spelling?) and she was so nice. We were moved into another room where the AC wasn’t working (they finally fixed it that afternoon) and the sheer blinds were broken and didn’t raise at all in the middle. For a five star hotel we were truly disappointed in our stay and will not stay there again!
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious for an NYC hotel. Nice linens and the bathroom was well appointed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also, it had no carpet, only rugs and I find that to be better than fully carpeted rooms.

Staff very friendly and helpfull all the time. Awesome location, in a very good part of the city, close to the main stores and the cnetral park, at the same time far enought from the busy areas around times square and penny station. Gym was fine, but would be good have some extra acessories to use in the crossover. Ar the entrance, for a few days, I felt a smell in the lobby that was not bad, but not very good as well.
- 5/5
Great property great size room and great location
- 5/5
This Hilton was impressive in location, cleanliness, and warm welcoming nature of the staff. We received authentically genuine service and I found the rooms to be comfortable and intuitive to use. The location was perfect, walking distance to the shops of Fifth Avenue, the lights of Times Square, and Broadway. There is a subway station just steps outside of the door which was convenient and Central Park is a two block walk. I will definitely stay here again. I've stayed at other Hiltons that were just "okay" in terms of cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. This location was a cut above. Literally my only complaint (albeit small) was that the pillows were not firm like I prefer. Other than that, the room was quiet (despite the bustling city just outside the windows). Definitely would recommend this property to others.
- 5/5
Finally, a hotel with a real hair dryer! That surprise was only surpassed by the excellent staff! Can’t wait to come back!
- 3.5/5
Room was large and comfortable, good bed, very clean property, good location if you want to be right downtown Staff not particularly helpful. Bathroom. Nice and modern but very little surface area to put things. Also shower sprayed outside glass half-wall and got floor wet. But Biggest problem for me was the unusual height of the tub to step over. I’m 5’3” and actually felt unsafe stepping in and out because it was so high and I don’t have great balance. No problem for my 6’ husband

Fabulous location, loved it and will stay here again.
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel! The staff was great, accommodating, listened to and responded to any inquiries during our stay. Check out the restaurant within the hotel while staying.
- 3/5
Check in staff was very rude. Staff at check out was friendly. Floors in the bedroom were not cleaned (barefoot walking rendered feet black); rest of the room was clean. On the bright side, location is excellent.
- 4/5
Great location. Overall a positive experience with a couple of oddities. Hard sell on Hilton membership when you step off the elevator and ask the lady at the booth for directions. Faucet in sink has a modern design which, if you don’t turn it zimmediately to high volume, dribbles on the counter. Speaking of which, very small area to place bathroom items. Also, has 10 am checkout which I could not extend. Hard sell on their airport limo … had to tell them several times I prefer Uber. But #1 issue was I asked for a quiet room and got one as far as facing the courtyard. But it was near the elevator, so I heard lots of chatting in hallway by people just getting off of it, and at all hours. Overall it was a very good stay but these miscellaneous items caused me to rate it 4 instead of 5.

Friendly and attentive staff, room was spacious, bed extremely comfortable, location superb.

Only con was the level of street noise. It is NYC, so it's expected, but this was excessive. It was recommended to ask for an interior room (trade off the views - that's fine) on higher floors in the future. Will do! Thank you!
- 5/5
This was the best and the most spacious room hotel I have stayed at in NYC. Its centrally located on 57th St., you are a couple of blocks from Central Park and many other million locations including Columbus Circle for shopping. The staff is super friendly, they bathroom and rooms are well curated and clutter free. Enjoyed every bit!

First time here, been to many other places around NYC. The location was perfect for our trip ( met opera) The room was clean and comfortable. We were put in an interior room ( no view) and it was wonderful! No view meant we were able to sleep without all the noise, sirens, yelling garbage truck banging… we almost missed the noise ( not ). Lots of stuff to do/see/eat right around the area.

The hotel was very nice, the staff was great. There is a subway entrance on the corner, which make getting around the city easier. Expedia advertised there is a free breakfast included….THERE IS NO FREE BREAKFAST…..Expedia needs to stop advertising that with this hotel. There are plenty of places nearby for breakfast.

Super well located, room is comfortable and spacious. We also really enjoyed the hotel facilities and gym. Not enough elevators for the amount of guests, it can take a while sometimes
- 4/5
Quiet air conditioning.
- 5/5
Very Nice clean hotel with good size rooms in a great location and with an excellent staff. Three things that can be better are 1) later checkout (10 am is to early), 2) can benefit from valet parking, instead of self parking with LAZ which is usually has a long line to get in and its on a very busy street and 3) have a vendor machine for snacks and drinks since there is no mini bar in rooms.

We found hairs and fecal matter in the first room. They moved us, then went to a second room with a TV that did not work. The manager was very rude with my wife generally did not seem to care for customers. Will be escalating matters to corporate.

Great location that’s convenient and quiet. Overall it’s a very small hotel which I prefer. Staff was friendly but there are zero services. No room service, no bell hop/luggage assistance/and no one will bring anything to your room. I found the lack of services to be off putting. Probably won’t stay here again. You’d be better of spending a little more and getting a lot more for your money or going cheaper and having the barebones service be more acceptable.

Great location and very friendly staff. They may try to get you to attend a Hilton Club presentation but are totally cool if you’re not interested. Espresso in room was great. Comfy bed. Close to several metro lines stops and right by Central Park.

Amazing location and a beautiful property. King sized room was absolutely spacious for NY. The hotel is 2 blocks from Central Park South, and near just about every subway line. You can walk to anything or hop on the train. Bed was super comfy. Toiletries were high quality. Shower was big and water pressure was great. It wasn’t the cheapest option, but I feel like it lived up to the price. Would stay again.

It is a very good value for the location. The staff work hard to make sure you’re comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was the elevators can take a long time during busy hours.
- 5/5
Clean, convenient, reasonable prices
- 5/5
Overall, a terrific experience. The hotel staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The location is very central- easy walk to Central Park and The Met. The room was a nice size and had plenty of storage for clothes (luxe robes and a large umbrella) and luggage- a wardrobe , drawers, and cubbies under the bed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was generously sized and had a pocket door the things that could use some attention: bathroom door did not lock, The vinyl laminate flooring in the bedroom area was poorly installed with corners that were lifting up. The bath towels were fraying at the edges.
- 5/5
The excellent staff made everything easy. My room was pristine. Loved the location. Very near an MTA stop and easy walk to MOMA or Central Park.
- 4/5
The staff The location Size of the room The girl at check in was very kind, we had traveled all night from Hawaii to NY and was praying that a room would be ready but it was too early… she found us a room by 9am (check in was at 4) and although it was on a low floor and very dark, (and she gave me the opportunity to look at it first so we could choose to take it or wait… we jumped on it so we could nap until 1pm and then have a normal afternoon…it made all the difference in our day Coffee provided every morning in the lobby at 7:30am Towels were a little thin Shower faucet was so tight it was very hard to turn to the right temperature

Fantastic location, and the staff are pleasant and accommodating. However, we encountered an issue on the last night of our stay when the air conditioning stopped working. Despite calling the front desk and being assured that someone would come up to fix it, no one arrived. Despite this inconvenience, we had an overall nice stay and would consider returning in the future.

How could you ever give someone my room (304) and expect them to come back? Room is small and windows don't work and are covered with a film so no light can come in. When we told the staff minutes after we arrived how unsatisfied we were the answer was "sorry that's all we have but we will let you know if anything changes" they didn't let us know anything.... Won't recommend your hotel

My husband and I live in Africa and we get together with family in NYC each year to visit my mother. My husband and I enjoyed our week-long stay at The Quin last year, so we booked again for this year. Last year, The Quin accepted cash at check-in as well as check-out, and we were expecting the same this year, since neither the hotel nor the booking agent advised of any special conditions to note regarding payment. When we arrived on the afternoon of Saturday 25th October, we were informed that they needed to put a hold on a credit card for the entire amount of the stay at check-in. Although we were prepared to pay IN CASH for the entire stay upfront, the manager, Brandon, refused to accept this or any other arrangement. He was dismissive and condescending, and could not care less that we would not be able to check in at all, since we could not even deposit our cash in the bank as it was already closed. We finally managed to check in only because my sister came to the rescue with her credit card. The incident spoilt our stay at The Quin. It was also entirely avoidable, had the hotel only been clear from the outset what its requirements were at check-in, especially since these had changed since last year. They had sent several emails prior to our arrival but none of the emails addressed this at all. Aside from the above incident, we would like to send a shout-out and say a special thank-you to Nima, one of the porters, who assisted us with our luggage upon check-out all the way to Madison Avenue due to the streets being closed for the NYC marathon. His attitude exemplified real customer service which Brandon certainly lacked.

We loved the location, we loved being close to the park. We loved the lady opposite the lift that gave us the discount card and helped us with local info. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted, luxurious but not too fancy; comfortable and homely. We had everything we needed in the room and the umbrella was a nice touch - we used it one day! Loved the tiny coffee house just over the road - Zibetto - great coffee! When we checked in we weren’t given any info. We didn’t receive a very warm welcome considering we’d travelled so far to get there! It was only the next day when we walked past the lady opposite the lift that we were given the info and made to feel welcome! The pillows on the bed were very squashy! We didn’t go to the restaurant for breakfast or dinner - we tried to go in one evening but it was incredibly busy and very loud - not for us!
- 4/5
Terribly designed bathroom faucet. SLOW elevators. Ventilation system periodically squealed loudly
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great clean room
- 5/5
Only issue we had was the shower leaked onto the floor since there didn’t seem to be anything there to catch it but overall BEST hotel stay I’ve ever had in NYC! It was right where we wanted to be our entire trip and everyone was so helpful and nice. The room was perfect for our two night stay. Will definitely be staying here for the rest of our trips out here!
- 3/5
Very convenient area next to everything ! But so expensive for what you get !
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean quiet rooms on 57th and 6th. Near Central Park, MOMA, Columbus Circle, Lincoln Center. Not a bad walk to the theaters and restaurants. Everyone from the front desk, bellmen, to house keeping were lovely!
- 5/5
Great location.
- 5/5
Great location , spacious room , strong shower , polite staff
- 3/5
Shower stall had water squirting on the floor. Bathroom sink had an oxo faucet that was difficult to set between low and high water flow.
- 5/5
Really nice staff members , couldnt ask for more
- 5/5
Clean and convenient
- 5/5
spacious and spotless
- 5/5
We stay for seven nights and I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and the hotel itself. The location is fantastic my wife and I walk every day so it was perfect travelling into Central Park and a nice long walk down to the Statue of Liberty.. I would definitely return to stay in the hotel. We had a king-size deluxe room which was perfect, lovely and clean every day.. if Time Square is your thing this is located on 57th Street Times Square starts around 52nd so a real good location.
- 4/5
Great hotel and service, but BETTY, the rude "security" in the lobby lost you guys a star for being rude because i dozed off after lunch waiting for room housekeeping to finish and aggressively tried to wake me up
- 5/5
Yes everything was really clean and everybody was really polite
- 3/5
The Towels were thin and cheap. The shower door opens in. So no way for you to get into shower and turn on water without getting a nice cold blast. Check out is 10am. Which I have never stayed at hotel that is that early. I requested late check out of an hour. I was only given until 1030. Honestly, check in is not until 4. I am sure no one cleaned my room for next guest at 1030 am. Otherwise, people would be able to check in earlier. If all the above does not matter to you, then I am sure you will be ok. Unfortunately, it matters to me so I can not recommend this hotel in nyc.
- 5/5
We stayed 5 nights at the Hilton The Quin. The room was nice and clean. The hotel employees were friendly and professional. We booked it because it was close to our daughter's apartment. The location was great, close to a lot of places. There is a subway station close and we were about half a mile from Central Park and less than a mile from Rockefeller Center. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to NYC!
- 3/5
Pillows were flat. Thermostat was inaccurate. No room service. Shower handle placement inconveniently placed. Okay hotel, not a 5 star
- 5/5
Lovely clean room which was very large by NYC standards. Staff really helpful and friendly. Perfect for our stay in the City - close enough to all the action but far enough not to be overwhelmed with people and noise.
- 5/5
Muy buen servicio. Personal amable. Excelente ubicacion. La mejor relacion precio benefico en NYC
- 3/5
Staff was fine but the management was not very helpful.
- 5/5
Great customer service! Complimentary umbrellas when it rained. Very clean room and facility.
- 5/5
Great location, staff and service.
- 4/5
Only slight problem quite noisy especially if trying to have slight lie in.
- 5/5
Fantastic stay at Hilton Club The Quin NYC. The location is perfect—close to Central Park, Fifth Avenue, and Broadway—yet the hotel feels quiet and refined. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. Most impressive was the staff: warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. A top-tier NYC hotel—we’ll definitely be back.
- 5/5
And the most important outstanding service!
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Great little studio
- 1/5
The front office claimed that they had no idea of the Expedia VIP program. The manager was a joke, he also claimed that he didn’t know about the VIP program and/or benefits. He was one rude and obnoxious kid and the fact that Hilton has a person like that in charge as a manager is very poor and says a lot about Hilton! Late check out was also not granted! So the VIP program was not very VIP! The room was super small, the plumbing drainage was not working properly! A huge disappointment on many levels! My advise as a hospitality professional, don’t offer something when you can’t or are unwilling to deliver!
- 5/5
Warm seat toilet!
- 5/5
Perfect position, friendly staff, spotless Rooms.
- 4/5
The Bad: The lobby and common areas are not as pictured. They are small, dated and unappealing. The restaurant pictured doesn’t belong to the hotel- it’s just on the premises. There is no real concierge. Basically it’s a 3 star hotel. The Good: the rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and relatively newly renovated. If you request a quiet room it will be quiet but face a brick wall- I suspect the outside facing rooms while brighter are extremely noisy. The location is unbeatable- basically 5 star. You’re basically 2 min from an essential subway station, Central Park, and 5th Avenue. The lack of restaurant is overcome by proximity to many options and the restaurant on the ground floor has decent food that is available to go. Overall excellent value for a clean comfortable room if you don’t care about a nice lobby, concierge, or amenities outside your room.
- 5/5
The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more pleasant. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and elegant, perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring the city. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York and would happily stay here again.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Terrible view. Friendly staff. Early check in. Close to subways and Central Park.
- 5/5
Housekeeping every day and very prompt- recommend. We did not get a room upgrade so no view- but bonus with the “no view” room is that the room was so quiet- no street noise at all since we faced the other building.
- 4/5
The front desk could have been a little bit more welcoming. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and we were offered nothing. We are also VIP with hotel.com
- 5/5
Perfect location for exploring NYC
- 5/5
The room was perfect and the staff was friendly and accommodating!
- 5/5
Clean, great location
- 5/5
Staff was accommodating, room clan
- 5/5
Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Great room friendly staff
- 5/5
Clean, the staff were friendly and the amenities were awesome.
- 5/5
Spotless and beautiful room! Great amenities, nice gym and excellent restaurant Acadia next door!
- 5/5
All
- 4/5
Great location and very functional property. Super location. Not upscale, yet quite nice. Updated bath and good space overall
- 3/5
My stay was below expectations. The bedding and towels are worn and outdated to a level that genuinely impacts comfort. Customer service was frustrating—some front desk staff couldn’t handle basic requests or questions. I’ve stayed here several times before, and this visit was by far the worst. The hotel now feels unimpressive and simply isn’t worth the price.
- 5/5
Consistent !
- 4/5
Large, spacious & comfortable rooms
- 5/5
Great location, speedy check in, nice quiet hotel
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and helpful. Housekeeping was especially good. Was always checking to see if we needed anything and was quick to provide.
- 5/5
Great property and location!
- 3/5
When taken to the room, there was no window so no natural light but even the artificial lighting available was poor. As much as bed was made each day, floor wasn’t cleaned. Towels had black stains on them. Walls were thin, with staff talking loudly in corridors from early hours of the morning. On the plus side, bed was really comfortable and the hotel itself is in a great location
- 4/5
Perfect location!
- 5/5
Staff helpful and polite. Well finished rooms, clean and spacious. Location is ideal. Highly recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
Ease of check in and check out
- 4/5
The room was clean. The reception staff were lovely, especially Melissa. Location was amazing. The only thing that let it down were the doormen were a little pushy when you first arrive and then after that they just stand there on their phones when you come and go.
- 5/5
Good gym large clean and modern rooms
- 4/5
Really great location, best gym, nice big clean modern rooms.
- 5/5
The staff was personal and courteous while being so helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be staying again!
- 5/5
Very nice and located very close to many of the best Christmas locations in New York!
- 5/5
From the front door, Man to the desk and cleaning folks it was a pleasant experience and I can’t wait to come back. It was so convenient and close to everything from Central Park to fifth Avenue to all of the Christmas sites and sounds that Juan would want to see while in Midtown.
- 3/5
The facility is in need of repair (especially the elevators). We were disappointed by there being merely a physically-connected restaurant with no affiliation with the hotel.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing and the location couldn’t be better!
- 5/5
Can’t beat the location, and very friendly staff! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay.
- 5/5
Friendly Staff - Perfect Location
- 4/5
Safe and comfortable, in a good neighbourhood.
- 4/5
Excellent housekeeping, always reliable and clean. Front desk staff was very kind and courteous. Senior Rodriguez was a daily delight. The lady concierge was so eager to talk with us and let us know the deals of the city. Concierge Bob wouldn’t look up from his phone to speak with us.
- 5/5
Very courteous and helpful!
- 5/5
I really love this hotel. It is a new favorite! The rooms are very nice and a good size for NYC. Excellent area with wonderful restaurants around the corner, and the staff is so nice.
- 5/5
Super comfy room.
- 5/5
Large comfortable room, comfy bed, great location, attentive staff
- 5/5
The hotel was lovely and in a perfect location & the staff was incredible! They made the trip excellent. I loved my stay & will be back.
- 5/5
The hotel was in a great location and the room was spotless! The staff were really friendly and would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Courteous staff, clean rooms, located in midtown right next to Central Park, it’s a nice hotel. Just steps away from the subway stations, and away from the craziness that’s is Times Square, it’s a wonderful spot.
- 5/5
Great staff, clean comfortable rooms, great location.
- 5/5
Staff very friendly - room was fantastic
- 5/5
Lovely room. Staff very friendly. Air con didn’t keep the room cool enough
- 5/5
comfortable room, attentive, staff, and excellent location
- 5/5
Clean room. Staff let us check in early to drop bags off
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Great service and attention to detail!
- 5/5
The room was comfortable, spacious. Little noise coming from the street, but was on the 4th floor. Complimentary water and Nespresso in the room was a nice touch. Will come back
- 5/5
Courteous staff, spotless room, great amenities and cozy atmosphere. This was my second stay and it felt like coming home to a comforting and welcoming atmosphere. I’ll be back soon.
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 5/5
Updated recently, quite, great gym, great location
- 5/5
Staff was awesome. Couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. My room was great. Not sure if it had been recently renovated, but was very tastefully done and seemed brand new. Location also great
- 5/5
The location is good compensation but not sufficient to pay $400 dollars for a small, dark room.
- 4/5
Very clean room. Great location.
- 2/5
The room was terrible. It was small and dark (windows faced another building a few feet away). There was hardly any space between the bed and the walls/furniture. We kept hitting our shins on the bed or furniture as we tried to navigate around the room. Worst room by far we’ve stayed in this year (after 60+ nights in hotel rooms around the world). Do not recommend.
- 4/5
Cleanliness of rooms
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff. Great location.
- 3/5
we alwasy try and stay at hiltons and have to say, i cant see why this one is rated so highly! location is good, if oyu want somewhere up near the park, but other than that... its old fashioned, tired decor, small & has minimal facilities. We stayed at the hard rock last time & for a similar price it was far superior in every way
- 5/5
Convening location. Great service.
- 5/5
Great location, very clean, staff was very responsive and nice. Will come back :)
- 5/5
Great room. Helpful staff.
- 4/5
The Quin and the staff attentiveness there were quite lovely. It’s in a great location and well maintained. I was on the third floor however, and unfortunately, every morning early, there seemed to be a lot of foot traffic and doors slamming. I wasn’t sure if these were employees coming back and forth but I did let the front desk know. It seemed to start before 7 am and it went on for a while. Other than that, the stay was fantastic.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Very spacious for New York hotel room. Great location. Some street noise at night, but expected in NY. Friendly staff. One elevator was broken for a day, but got fixed quickly. They are under construction in the lobby, so I’m sure when that is done the lobby will be very nice. Nice restaurant connected to hotel where we could wind down at the bar with a drink and appetizer if we didn’t feel like going out. Overall great stay and would definitely consider staying here again.
- 2/5
I will never stat here again.
- 4/5
good location, decent room.
- 3/5
Staff was great! Rooms were small and dark. Sheets and towels thin. Only two small elevators and one was out of service for 24 hours. Good location.
- 3/5
This property has potential is not close to being
- 1/5
It was the noisiest hotel room we have ever stayed in (even by NY standards). The staff were generally very nice, except at checkin where the staff were very rude and unhelpful.
- 5/5
Very clean, fairly quiet room. Great service. It was spacious for midtown, and so close to Central Park. We walked to the park every morning and walked to Broadway for our shows every night. The F train is next to the building, which is so convenient. We will stay again next time we visit!
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Excellent reception staff!
- 5/5
Thank you so much for an amazing stay and for the spacious, comfortable, and very clean room. Many thanks to the wonderful hotel staff who were attentive to everything we asked for. We will definitely return to this hotel in 90 days ♥️🥂🙏
- 4/5
clean room, nice bedding, nice toiletries, nice location
- 5/5
Excellent staff! Perfect location.
- 5/5
I found The Quin to be a great hotel with friendly staff, exceptionally nice rooms, and located in a very convenient spot in NYC.
- 3/5
Staff not friendly at all, no valet either
- 2/5
I was very disappointed with the night staff, particularly the manager on duty, Amy. She flatly refused to store my luggage for one day, even though I had a confirmed reservation for the following night. Her demeanor was dismissive and borderline confrontational. As a long-time Hilton Honors member, I expect a higher standard of courtesy and professionalism. Experiences like this make me reconsider my loyalty and explore other hotel options for future stays.
- 5/5
Spacious and clean rooms. Central location.
- 3/5
Some staff really arrogant some very helpful. They should understand that we are the costumer. We got a small room with backgard view. The hotel is a 5 star hotel and we paid totally about 500 dollar/night and its not worth it. It’s more a good 3 star hotel.
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Nice room, pleasant helpful staff
- 5/5
Spacious, clean, room. Great location close to Central Park.
- 1/5
After the incident, we tested it with a thick bar of soap and the door chopped it clean in half. We reported it to the front desk. They didn’t do anything. Reported it again and they sent a manager who offered to give us Hilton points (they didn’t) and some ice. The engineer didn’t fix it. They didn’t change our rooms. Honestly, this could have been a lot worse if it was a kid or someone with smaller fingers. Overall, reflected on the hotel staff and service. This is not a 5-star hotel. The front desk is lazy and borderline slobbish. The doormen will stand and push the handicap button to open the doors for you but not actually greet you. I’d recommend staying anywhere else if you’re expecting or paying for a premium experience.
- 5/5
Got a recently upgraded suite, very large for NYC, was impressed. Service was also very responsive and helpful. There was some construction in the lobby but they isolated i pretty well, didn't impact me nor was there any construction noise at night.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Everything was amazing and made for a perfect stay!
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and rooms were quiet. Wish room service was available
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff
- 5/5
Staff was great!
- 5/5
Stunning
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and kind.
- 4/5
My favourite nyc hotel
- 2/5
Not 5 star. Lackluster lobby, zero vibe, unenthusiastic front desk staff. Rooms are dimly lit and sterile. Small is fine but the room space is dysfunctional and poorly designed, ie narrow ledges that everything falls off of and no place to put a bag.
- 5/5
Location was everything! Like a block from Central Park. Staff was incredible and the room was flawless. Highly recommend
- 5/5
Everything was clean and spotless. We were even able to check-in a little early. Great staff!!
- 4/5
Great location and walkable to great shopping and eating.
- 5/5
They were the best. Very accommodating
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 3/5
The rooms vary a lot, and so does the staff — some are good, some less so. The location is the best.
- 5/5
I have traveled all over that world and this may be the best hotel I have ever stayed. The location was perfect, safe and clean. The staff was impeccable, helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Great location and fantastic staff!!!
- 4/5
The only downside for me, and it’s a big one, is the street noise. I was on the 12th floor and still got woken up a few times because of he roadworks. Next time, I’d ask for a room that doesn’t overlook 57th street.
- 5/5
Had a great stay. Very clean and nicely updated
- 4/5
Muy buena ubicacion , personal muy cordial , pero la pieza no es para el valor que cuesta
- 5/5
Solid property - nice location, rooms are decent size for midtown standards and a good service experience overall. I would look to come back
- 5/5
Front desk was outstanding
- 5/5
Great location and nice clean hotel, super nice people. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Location, staff, daily maid service, complementary water.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Location, location, location. Great room, loved the electric blinds.
- 5/5
Nice location. Basic room, pretty clean and comfortable. Loved the price.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, centrally located. Our shower door wouldn’t close fully so water does leak onto bathroom floor but we just tossed extra towels down.
- 5/5
Large, well appointed, clean room. Wonderful staff. Excellent location.
- 3/5
That photo of the rooftop is only if you’re staying in the penthouse. I did not appreciate the misrepresentation
- 5/5
Even though it’s closer to Central Park, its location was still walkable to many landmarks. There are subway lines around the corner if you prefer to travel by train. Friendly staff, clean room, decent size room for NYC standards. Angelos pizza is a few doors down which has great pizza.
- 5/5
Clean room, excellent service by the staff and awesome location.
- 5/5
Clean hotel and friendly staff. Someone is always at the check in counter which was convenient for our early morning departure. 10/10 would stay again.
- 4/5
This hotel was a pleasant stay, but I have one piece of advise. The shower tub is very dangerous, it is slippery and no hand rails. As senior I am one fall away from being in a wheelchair for the rest of my life.you must address this problem. Safety first.
- 5/5
Great location to Central Park and staff was great!
- 4/5
The property itself is centrally located & quieter than if you stayed anywhere near Times Square. When we checked in, I was not given my VIP perk. They said that didn’t exist. I checked again at check out & they said that did not exist. Across from the elevator bank their Hilton honors salesperson is seated we wanted to go up to our room but was asked to to go over some sort of presentation the next day that I would get several thousand points for attending an hour while they tried to sell me something. I was not there to do that. I was there on vacation and we felt pressured. We were given a discount card for restaurants which we used one time. while we understand, this person is just trying to do their job. We felt like we had to duck to avoid her every time we returned back to the hotel. Upon entering our room, the sink wasn’t working properly & wouldn’t drain. secondly, our HVAC wasn’t working properly. With a call to the front desk this was solved pretty quickly. The sink started having the same issue when we checked out so I alerted the front desk about that but was offered no perk or anything special for being with Expedia.I would recommend this hotel but I do think it’s very expensive considering other deals that you can get in the area. For the price they could do better. We both didn’t like being pressured to attend a presentation and again we didn’t receive our VIP perk.
- 5/5
Great stay. Customer service was excellent, really friendly team who enjoy their jobs. Very helpful. Nice and clean, handy bits like flannels, mouth wash, body lotions, water bottles etc. Huge bed & massive TV. Cool view of the busy street, felt like in the heart of NYC. Not that noisy really considering.
- 4/5
I did not receive any upgrades which was very disappointing.
- 5/5
It was great as it was my first time traveling by myself and I felt totally safe and clean. I would definitely stay there again if even going to NYC.
- 5/5
Great location, everything you need nearby
- 4/5
Good central position
- 5/5
Nice and clean hotel in a very convenient location, very close to Central Park, Shopping’s, Restaurants, Museums, Art centers. Front desk staff is nice and professional.
- 5/5
Front desk staff is excellent. House keeping could be more quiet and respectful of people sleeping in the morning.
- 5/5
knocking at 9.30 in the morning and asking if we wanted services while I was still in bed in pajamas. I kept saying no to try and get him to go away but took ages for him to get the hint. Not a good start to the day. Otherwise it was great.
- 5/5
Walking distance to everything. Clean rooms.
- 5/5
Only negative, check out time at 10am is too early.
- 5/5
Great location & great staff.
- 4/5
Location cannot be beat- that is top feature
- 5/5
The location is ideal for heading out to all parts of the city as well as being near the subway, bus stops, central park, a pharmacy/shop, and local dining options. The room was very spacious, clean, modern, and with a great bathroom and good aircon. The super king bed was rather nice too. The windows took most of the noise away, however NYC is NYC. A street facing room will always have some noise. We didn't find it a problem sleeping. The staff were helpful and attentive and our stay was top-notch throughout. We'd most definitely return to Hilton Club The Quinn New York for our next trip to NYC.
- 5/5
Great location. Nice hotel. Great stuff
- 5/5
Room was very nice. Staff was helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Great location, great room service, just perfect
- 5/5
The hotel was walking distance to Central Park, 5th avenue and Madison Avenue shopping, radio City Music Hall and many great restaurants. Starbucks is located next door for your morning coffee. It was a little less than half a mile from time square and Broadway. We will definitely be staying at The Quin whenever we return to New York.
- 5/5
Parking was a bit off site and not cheap, but for nyc standards, probably ok. Did get a discount, but still $40 a night. Also, nice to be able to ark at all in this very popular area. Loved the proximity to Central Park and everywhere I needed to go.
- 5/5
Good location.
- 5/5
Really ideal spot for New York visit. Walk to galleries, theaters and restaurants. Shopping on your doorstep. Rooms quiet , clean with every possible amenity and the best closet and drawer space i have ever had in a city hotel
- 5/5
Hotel was excellent. Great location.
- 4/5
Good location particularly for folks needing to be in midtown for work. Friendly front desk folks as well. I'm not sure why the hotel class is rated as a five star, this is a solid 4 star hotel option in my opinion.
- 5/5
Close to Central Park and shopping
- 5/5
amazing hotel
- 3/5
The pictures are misleading. Its not as nice as the pictures make it out to be. Fine hotel but doesn't appear anywhere near 5 star hotel
- 5/5
Very clean and nice. Great staff. There was no microwave in the room but when we asked about whether or not there was a place to access one they sent a microwave to the room! The room was clean and surprisingly spacious for NYC. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Would 100% stay again.
- 5/5
I really loved this hotel. It was super clean, the staff was great, and it’s in an excellent location, right below Central Park and near wonderful restaurants and shopping.
- 3/5
Great location, but would’ve expected a discounted rate for a room with frosted windows and no view.
- 5/5
Great location, very clean and and comfortable beds
- 5/5
Elevator issues! Other than that nice hotel
- 5/5
All staff that we come in contact with were very helpful and friendly. Will stay here again.
- 5/5
Loved the bellmen - always helpful. Did not like sales pitch for timeshare. Wish the room had a microwave.
- 5/5
Always enjoy my stay at the Quin.
- 5/5
The hotel is in nice location near Central Park, equidistant from the east & the west side of the park. The rooms & bathroom are renovated. The bed is very comfortable. The gym on the second floor is quite good & clean.
- 5/5
Great room and staff
- 5/5
Beautiful and clean property with lovely amenities. High quality linens and toiletries. In room Nespresso and bottled water. Fitness room and great restaurant downstairs. Slow elevators is the only negative. Definitely would stay again!
- 5/5
Cleaned room every day and staff was great !
- 5/5
Very good experience
- 5/5
Excellent location, friendly staff, clean
- 5/5
but there are many restaurants around subway station near uber/taxi access and walkable to anywhere Really close to Central Park Room was great got 2 bottles of water a day
- 5/5
This was a lovely hotel with nice staff and great location.
- 5/5
The room was very nice. Bed extremely comfortable. Electric blackout blinds were useful. Bathroom was stunning. Air Con worked very well. Housekeeping always did a very good job. Consistent and discreet. Overall we all loved this hotel. It’s a smaller hotel but this is actually a positive. The unlimited free bottled water was a huge positive and there was free coffee in the lobby every morning. Would 100% recommend and would definitely visit again. Thank you everyone.
- 5/5
I enjoy this boutique hotel. The elevators are slow but doable. And I prefer american coffee ☕️ and not the one they have in your room. But overall a good experience.
- 4/5
The staff overall were very good but our room was noisy facing 57th street 8th floor we could have requested a move but the room was good and first bed I’ve stayed in more than a couple of days didn’t give me back ache so real bonus
- 4/5
Besides that, clean functional room, great location for 57th St Metro & Central Park.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Excellent stay! We’ve stayed here before and came back the second time because we’ve liked it so much. Restaurant is excellent as well.
- 5/5
This property is a perfect location. It is so close to Central Park and Times Square. The staff are excellent and the rooms are superb.
- 4/5
Great location. Big rooms
- 5/5
Parking is hard
- 5/5
This property was very clean, all staff were polite and attentive. The room was large by new York standards and very high standard. Lots of little extras that made the stay feel very special.
- 5/5
Always a pleasure, clean towels and bedding, comfortable beds and great staff. Only feedback is they don’t clean the bedroom floors
- 5/5
Everyone n everything was fine
- 5/5
Great place to stay with my teenager and it is in the center of everything you want to see in New York.
- 5/5

Very friendly staff. Janet was very helpful assisting us with reservations for a high end steak house “Benjamin’s”. Overall great experience and centrally located hotel. The rooms were quiet at night which is needed to experience NY well rested.

Clean, quiet, very conveniently located. Friendly staff. And our room was "large" on a NYC scale. Would absolutely stay here again.

Rooms were a fabulous size and well-appointed.

We’ve been in nyc many times but this was the most amazing property and perfect location away from the madness of Times Square. Had amenities of the large hotels but was very quaint. The staff was amazing and attentive. The only minor complaint was that our floor (7th) had a consistent damp smell throughout our stay. Fortunately the smell wasn’t in the room.

The hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect and near great shopping and Central Park. Few suggestions include having 100% cotton blankets on the beds and firmer beds. They have comforters but they get too hot in the Summer. Also it would be nice to have coffee available to the guests at 5am for those who get up early in the lobby.

Beautiful! We loved everything! The staff were amazing and the facility itself was immaculate. The room was cleaned daily by a staff who obviously knew what they were doing and took pride in their work! It was a great, safe location near shopping, transportation, the park and much more. Worth every penny spent and will stay again!

The Hotel was top tier! Staff were exceptional. The rooms were very cozy and comfortable and very relaxing. My Family said this was the best vacation they’ve had in a long time. Well Estes. Shopping and food was great. Especially all the site seeing and tours we did.

The room? A spacious little haven and spotlessly cleaned each day. It was like returning to a fresh slice of calm after the city’s chaos. Only bummer? No morning gown! I didn’t ask the front desk, so maybe it was a secret perk for the bold. Now, for the one real twist in the story—no bar. Not even a quiet lounge to sip a pre-dinner drink while waiting for your slowpoke travel mates. A missed opportunity, really. A hotel cocktail moment can be pure New York romance. Overall, it’s a great base for your city escapades—comfortable, clean, and in the heart of it all. Maybe scout out a nearby speakeasy for your nightcap.

Really great stay! Staff cleans room every day and are very accommodating. Walkable distance to Central Park, Times Square, broadway, and a lot of dining places. Windows did not open and vent in bathroom did not work. Other than that, Would stay here again!

Even though we were on the 10th floor, it was still pretty loud. Traffic felt like it was right outside our window.

Beautiful stay, thank u!!

First day we were traumatized we had a room without windows but from the 2nd day we moved to a very nice high floor room. The view should be specified in your ads. We would not book again with the risk to be in a room like that.
