    Customer service was excellent for both checking in and checking out. They were very helpful and happy to assist you. No parking provided for customers. You will need to pay for parking about two blocks away or find street parking. It might be a good idea for someone to patrol the floors to ensure that people are not smoking in their rooms, since this is a smoke free hotel. Someone on the floor that I was on was smoking the whole time that I was there. You are able to smell it strongly in the hallway and also under the door.

    The room was clean and comfortable. Good size space. Nice breakfast offered as well. Location is slightly dodgy but not horrible. Also, it was actually 5 miles away from JFK airport, despite including the airport in it's name.

    Unfortunately, my experience with the manager was completely different. His behavior was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. There was confusion regarding complimentary bottled water. The front desk staff was willing to provide the water as a courtesy, but the manager immediately intervened and insisted on charging us, which was disappointing and embarrassing. What concerned me even more was his behavior toward my wife. In front of me and other guests, he made inappropriate personal remarks, including saying “I love you” to my wife. As a guest staying at the hotel, I found this highly unprofessional, uncomfortable, and unacceptable. Rather than feeling welcomed, I felt uneasy and concerned about the environment during our stay. A hotel manager represents the property and should treat all guests with respect, professionalism, and courtesy. The excellent service provided by the front desk staff was unfortunately overshadowed by the manager’s conduct. I hope this matter is taken seriously and reviewed by senior management to ensure future guests do not experience similar treatment.

    The room and bathroom were very clean, no noises during the night, breakfast was good, much more than I expected. I wish they put some shower cup in the bathroom ! The price was $ 210 for 1 night/ 1 person, but you have to add $70 round trip to JFK It takes 20 minutes from JFK at night, but in the morning you can expect a lot of traffic, so you need more time to arrive at JFK. I would definitely recommend it !

    I loved the location and the quickness of check in… Gary was amazing… he greeted me with a smile and had me checked in within 5 min…he then gave me a nice treat for being an IHG member… I went upstairs and I was in a corner room facing the city which was great… Gary had an amazing smile that lights up the room, he makes you feel welcome, and at home away from home Nothing that I disliked…I would most definitely stay better again when I visit

    The place was very clean, comfortable, nice breakfast.Nothing to complain regarding the facilities The location is not great. There is a train station nearby for manhatten but it takes 40 min ride to reach the nice area of the city. Also, although the breakfast was good it had no vagetables. For the price they charge, they could serve do better.

    NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE! Despite my Google search saying it did have a shuttle, waited 45 minutes at JFK before calling front desk and finding out I had to get my own ride. Hotel itself was clean and updated, but snack bar/refrigerator at front desk was basically empty. Don’t know if there was a price surge but $399 for the room was ridiculously excessive, but I had no choice so late.

    Two male reception staff members in the morning, including Gary, were rude and unhelpful. They need proper customer service training and should know how to speak respectfully to guests. I called from my room asking for more coffee because the coffee provided in the room had finished. The receptionist told me to come to the lobby. When I went there, he then told me to use the coffee in my room, even after I explained it was already finished. I also asked for water and was told I would have to purchase it. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn locations in Canada where unlimited coffee, green tea, and beverages were available. Here, guests only get the limited coffee in the room unless they buy more. Communication from reception staff was poor and difficult to understand. Since they are the front face of the hotel, they should communicate clearly and professionally. They were unhelpful and rude. The room was clean, but the bathroom was small. The heater in my room was not working. I called at night and again in the morning, but nobody answered or called back. The fridge light also did not work. Overall, very poor service. I would not stay here again.

    They stole my all star sneakers.. I made a complaint told them I need to speak to manager .. they went in my room Saturday while I was on the road.. they went in to clean and do that is when they take my sneakers and I don't know what else..     I didn't even go in! This was in an unsafe neighborhood and they have ZERO parking. There was a man standing outside the hotel ripping his shirt off and putting it by on yelling at himself.

    The laminate flooring was cracked and lifting in my room, which almost made for a hazzard but the room was comfortably heated as it was a cold night & I was sleepy. However, the walls are paper thin so bring your ear plugs. Overall, the staff was accommodating & the bed was comfy. I wouldn't stay again though.

    Having missed a flight I needed a hotel for one night and Jamaica is easy to get to on the Sky Train. The area is pretty rough and don't expect to find anywhere classy to eat. That said the hotel was nice and the included breakfast a bonus. Whilst there wasn't a left luggage room, the manager was more than happy to look after my in the reception office.

    The hotel was very modern but the parking situation is horrible. The hotel does not have parking and if you park on the side of the road they are not responsible for any tickets or damages. The complementary breakfast was nice and the hours are a lot longer than other hotels. The room was nice. Simple and clean and with the complementary body wash and lotion was very convenient.

    The 1st room I was given had a strong smell of weed. They gave me another room and the blind was broken so they had to move me a 3rd time!! The hassle of dragging my luggage all these times after settling in was not nice, although the person on duty was calm and nice. He did not offer to help once, however, when I asked him to help me at the 3rd move he did. They didnt even offer me compensation for all the hassle. There is no airport shuttle, but the air train was about a 6 min walk. I would definitley think twice before booking this place.

    Staff Support was zero. Pathetic Experience. Low food quality, Unprofessional behavior of the receptionist. I will never stay and recommend this hotel to anyone. Please think twice before walking in. Everyone was indifferent to my stay there as if they are least bothered about my experience their.     I stay here at least 6 times a year, but I’ll never return. My sheets were dirty upon arrival, requested new ones, it took about 40 minutes to receive them. Later that same nights I was getting bitten by multiple bugs(possibly small spider) crawling in the bed. I immediately called to change rooms. They apologized profusely, but the damage was already done.

    The lobby was very very colder. The only fire place at the lobby was faulty. The front desk doesn’t even know there is a fire place. Only one trolley for the whole hotel. No airport shuttle.

    My room was cold temp was 30 degrees outside n inside never went above 72. I complained someone said they was coming two hours later called again a this time someone came and did nothing that changed the temp.     Very convenient to take air train but in an area that felt a bit sketchy (although only a 6 min walk). When I arrived there was nobody on reception. No bell. No notice saying back in 5 minutes. Nobody answered the phone. Somebody appeared after about 15 mins (no apology)but I did wonder if I was going to have a problem. The air in the room was very noisy. Overall it was Ok and convenient enough for a very early flight so I would probably go there again.

    I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was extremely clean, with fresh towels provided every day. The location was perfect, just two blocks from the subway, making it easy to travel to Manhattan. Everything I needed was within walking distance. The only slight challenge was parking, but we managed to find spots on the street. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel

    Me and my husband stayed there 3 nights, but housekeeping never came to clean or take the garbage out. We had no towels and asked staff for new towels. Staff told us we need to go to the ground floor to get the towels. TV wasn't connecting to wifi.We called them several times to send someone, but no one ever showed up and when I went to reception area to complain, they said their wifi never connects. Then why we gonna pay so much to stay there?

    Neighborhood is sketch. Cops outside the front door twice in a few hours - nothing violent, mostly mental needs. I’m a grown man traveling alone and I live in an urban area, so it’s not a problem for me. My wife would have given me side eye if I had rented it for her & kids and made them all walk with luggage on a late Saturday night to the hotel and very early Sunday AM back. Still giving it 4 stars because it met my travel needs well. Just want you to know going in.

    The staff were very accommodating! They allowed for an early check in which was greatly appreciated after travel 20+ hours with 2 young kids. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning (NOT from anything I bought from the hotel.) The staff was courteous enough to drop off my DoorDash order at the door. We arrived in the morning and saw one or two “sketchy” characters, but no one was loitering near the door. Comfy beds, and nice hot showers. Great place to stay between flights. I’d recommend!

    The staff were friendly and very honest about the safety in the immediate area which I appreciated as a solo traveller. The room was ok, but definitely not the usual standard of this hotel chain. The whole place stinks of weed/smoke and the furnishings in the room were stained. I initially took the Sky Train to get to the hotel, but after walking alone from the station to the hotel, I decided Uber was a safer and better option for my departure back to JFK. It was an experience I’ll never forget, but not one I’ll be signing up for again.

    There is no designated parking for this hotel. It is all street parking in a neighborhood and there was none available when we arrived. We couldn’t stay because there was no safe place to leave our truck.

    But the neighborhood is terrible! Dirty and feels unsafe. The lobby is very uninviting. We called 3 times to ask about the shuttle and were told to take the air train and go downstairs. There was in fact no shuttle to this close hotel. I would not stay in this hotel again.
