Arrived for check in at 3:30pm but the room finally got ready at 6pm. Paid for parking upon booking but they will only validate for 1 day… the remaining days of your stay will be charged parking. Helpful staff and clean environment.

I had a great difficulty to find a new hotel for that period. As the hotel couldn't get the deposit from my credit card, they did not send any info about cancellation and cancelled my reservation unfortunately. When I made the reservation I sent my credit card nr. But unfortunately, due to some operational problems they couldn't get the deposit etc. I tried several times but I couldn't manage to pay the amount but I gave them my credit card number. Then my daughter (Alara) and I wrote both to the hotel and expedia. And from both the hotel guest services (Ms.Joseline: [email protected]) and expedia sent me messages that there is no problem, and my reservation is ok. The reservation is confirmed and my deposit payment has been processed successfully.(I keep the message and letter-if you like I can send it to you.) But after all these messages the hotel cancelled my reservation without any warning. what a conflict !!! They could even call me and talk!!! I am really unhappy and not satisfied this kind of irresponsible action. I see that the hotel did not even send any info about their cancellation. I travelled 8000 miles and found out that hotel cancelled my reservation. So I would like to tell you about this hotel and their irresponsibility. Next time I am planning not to use expedia application because of such problems as I had great difficulty to find a new hotel in that area....

The room was cool and comfy. Loved the pool so much I was in town to visit with my son and his family prior to my having surgery. I was very disappointed that they were unable to join me at the pool and we were told it was a cost of $100 dollars each for a visitor. Children were not allowed in the pool. We did have finally have a very nice poolside lunch.

Everything was wonderful, beautiful hotel, clean rooms with really cool view. we loved the bar and the bartenders Adrian and Tyrone. the front desk staff was also really helpful. the only thing was that the pool was not open the week we booked and this was never mentioned. it said that the pool would be opened from may and it was late may.

Good location near metro. Feels old inside and outdated. The mattress in bed was not good plus door slamming every 10 mins or so for 2 hours from about 12.30 am. Not a good nights sleep! Air con noisy too. Just think it is an old hotel bit lovely staff

Since last time I stayed there it seems like the upkeep has not been good, staff is not particularly attentive and there are no amenities to speak off other than coffee in the room. Location of course is still good.

The day of my booking started off a little frustrating only because I was unaware that a certain policy had been implemented, which I completely understand now. However, Chandler, the supervisor, did a great job acknowledging my frustration while also being very understanding and professional. His approach helped me become more understanding of the situation as well. Alongside him, Jamela and Jhony were also wonderful and provided great customer service throughout the experience. Thank you all for your patience, professionalism, and excellent support.

Everything I needed was within a block: diner, bagel shop, subway station to Manhattan.

Mini fridge not working Keurig coffee maker not working Room service gave ice in plastic bag No space in hotel to warm food…ordered from hotel restaurant. Bar ran out of Sauvignon Blanc first night The restaurant did not have all choices from menu

The hotel has a clean, modern vibe... not stuffy at all... the staff without exception were excellent! Helpful, friendly and they all remembered me and my sister throughout our stay. We were staying at the Indigo for a wedding nearby and the staff went out of their way to let us have an early check-in to prepare for the wedding. Even the other guests at the hotel were super friendly and helped us navigate the key cards required for the elevator. We highly recommend the Hotel Indigo and will stay there again the next time we're in Brooklyn!

We visit NYC & Brooklyn regularly. We chose the Hotel Indigo for the convenience of its location to Williamsburg & Bushwick. What you don’t necessarily realize when booking it is that it’s adjacent to the BQE, a major highway. The neighborhood is, for lack of a better word, kind of seedy. Let’s say this neighborhood is far from a “garden spot.” It’s close to Williamsburg though, so that helps. The inside is fine, your typical hotel. The receptionist did not seem happy to see us or to be working. She did mention that there was a rooftop bar, but never bothered to explain how to GET to it, which led to some unpleasant frustration. The room was clean but the hairdryer didn’t work and the shower was VERY slippery (some leftover soap or cleaner) and the water temperature was uneven. Hard to get it to NOT be either too hot or too cold. The lobby area was nice but there was absolutely NO designated smoking area outside but PLENTY of “no smoking” signs EVERYWHERE. Huge annoyance for my partner, a smoker. In 2026, what major hotel chain does not provide this? It’s inexcusable given that Indigo has a MASSIVE outdoor patio the entirety of which is off limits to smokers (and no one ever seemed to be using it.) And BTW, the reception folks don’t inform guests that the doors to the hotel off Metropolitan Ave are locked at night, so you have to walk around the block to get in again. Nothing too horrible about this place, but we won’t be returning & we won’t be recommending it to anyone.

Great location. Top notch staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice bar and lobby. Walking distance to Brooklyn restaurants, stores and parks. Easy access to subway.

Internet was down for 3 days, not their fault. They did credit our stay with facility charges dropped. We like staying here. Our floors could have been a little cleaner and update rugs by bed. Comfortable bed and nice sheets!! Everyone is very nice!.

2) Amenities - The pool wasn't open sadly when I was staying but the rooftop bar was open on the weekend and was such a great vibe. The coffee / bar area is big and serves the usual drinks and snacks and there's also plenty of dining room if you want to order from their kitchen. Breakfast I had on 2 mornings was delissshh! 3) Location - Indigo is in a great spot, short walking distance along Metrolpolian Ave to all the shops and literally beside the subway for the L train making getting anywhere super easy. There are loads of deli's and restaurants nearby. 4) Staff - Firstly, I have to say the staff at Indigo make the whole experience 10x better. By the end of my trip I felt like I knew most of the staff on first name terms and the fact they took time to remember my name just shows how fantastic they are at their job. Shout out to Ashley, Aerial, Yuri, Tyronne and front desk staff too! I'll 100% be booking to come back in July. Thank you for looking after me on this trip

great room, amazing amenities, front desk response time for requests was 100%

The gentleman at the front desk was so accommodating! I will definitely make this hotel my go to in Brooklyn when I visit my daughter.
- 3/5
Public areas were lovely as were the staff. Poor standard of cleaning in our room. We didn’t use the coffee machine but moved it back a bit and the caked in stains were not pleasant to see as well as the caked in stains all over the dressing table. The floor wasn’t swept! I must say the bathroom was cleaned well.
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 4/5
No staff to help bring luggage in our room. Front entrance door so heavy. There’s no accessibility service for handicap client. We asked for wheelchair but it’s only for inside the facility. Otherwise our stay was comfortable. The room was clean.
- 3/5
The staff was great, the hotel was clean, but there were some basic amenities missing. Location was great for accessing the metro. The rooms were quiet. The bagels and coffee in the lobby were good. Important note* There are no reading lights at the bedside, There was no accessible source of ice or ice bucket in the room

We stayed 4/24/26 weekend. The parking garage was close to the main entrance $111. For three nights. The staff was friendly. The breakfast and coffee was good. The almond croissants are yummy! The room was clean and quiet. Plenty of hot water and clean towels. Very close to the subway station. All in all it was a good stay! 😊

Are there any of the hotel was extremely loud, so we didn’t get much sleep so that was frustrating. Not a lot of comfort at the hotel, but I guess it’s what you need. We would stay there again just because it works for us where it’s located.

The air conditioning did not work in the five days I stayed there, many guests also complained. In addition there was drilling noise up to late hours. I complained,,, they told me it was the music coming from the speakers Ha, HA, Ha BULLSh.t

We have stayed at this property before about 6 months and loved it. We stayed this past week and were disappointed. Our room was not cleaned by 3 pm 2/3 days of our stay even though we were out of the room by 10 am each day. We noticed the hallways were very dirty including a hair net being left on the floor for over 24 hours. Amenities are great including the coffee bar and great roof top bar in addition to a very helpful staff. We were just very disappointed in the cleanliness of our room and overall facility for this visit compared to our last visit.

Great location. Subway stop outside the hotel. Walking distance to various locales in Brooklyn (Greenpoint, Williamsburg). Clean room and spacious for NY. Parking garage connected.
- 4/5

Great location and very nice hotel. Rooms are good sized and clean.

The room was clean, but there wasn't a rug in the room and no bedside lamps. The bed was very low to the ground. There were only 2 towels, though staff was helpful in replenishing them. The shower doors and sink faucet were odd. The room was adequate and the location was good though you need to navigate the bridge and major interse tion to get into the heart of Williamsburg.
- 5/5
First off, I would like to preface this by saying, I love staying in this hotel. This a great location, rooms are always good, and the staff is awesome. First room I got had a broken A/C but the person on duty was very helpful in getting me in a new room. Front desk attendant promptly switched me and met me upstairs with a new key.
- 4/5
The room is small but clean and accommodated our stay well. Close to subway which is nice. The only thing is that our room often smelled like seafood around dinner time.
- 4/5
The Hotel had serious Air Conditioning problems during our entire stay. The staff was very attentive to our concerns and I truly appreciate that front desk ( Anaise was excellent!! ) Glad they were able to resolve the issue on our last night!!

The hotel was nice and clean. It was located right next to a train station entrance so that was very convenient. The location was a little noisy since it is right next to a freeway.
- 4.5/5
Convenience to family and parking garage next door.
- 1.5/5
Very friendly staff A/C did not work and room was over 80 degrees, there was a loud buzzing noise that never stopped in the bathroom, there were only two pillows and hardly any blankets, there were bugs in the bathroom. highly uncomfortable and would like a partial refund
- 3/5
Convenient to the Metro L. Stayed here a few times and encountered broken elevator, broken AC, broken ice machine. Went 2 days with no housekeeping service. Room is fine.
- 5/5
Someone had a dog barking all night
- 5/5
Great time
- 4/5
Beds were very firm. 4 extra pillows were available in the room with 2 double beds. An american diner was just outside the building at the corner and a nice coffee shop just a couple blocks away. Overall a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Coffee in room was great. Very helpful at the desk. Room was nice.
- 5/5
Didn’t have breakfast or park
- 5/5
Good location, clean and reasonably priced for the location
- 5/5
Great location, great staff. Made for a great trip. Thx
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and helpful, however, the internet was intermittent and the mattress was very hard. Housekeeping tried their best to accommodate by adding extra comforters, but we both still woke up with back pain. The gym had no towels, sanitizer or tissues. Housekeeping was friendly but didn't speak English - we had use google translate to communicate. not a big deal, just thought you would have to learn to speak the language to work in the US - especially in hospitality.
- 5/5
Great room!
- 5/5
It was convenient for the time
- 5/5
Cool Spot
- 5/5
The hotel was great so I gave it 5 stars, but you should warn your guests that you are robbing them at the front desk for bottled water. I should have asked how much before having it billed to my room, but $40 for 4 waters for your guest is ridiculous.
- 3/5
Very run down and rooms feel stark. Some rugs and art could make it feel cozier.
- 4/5
Good location
- 2.5/5
The location was good. Overall the hotel was updated. Our bathroom had a gnat infestation and there were no wash cloths. I went to the reception to get some and made sure to get extra. When housekeeping came to clean, they didn't take out the trash and they took all the clean wash cloths that I left hanging on the towel rack. Any dirty towels were piled on the floor so not sure why they took everything else. I made it work but it was really disappointing. If I have to stay here again I would, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
- 5/5
No complimentary slippers in the room
- 5/5
There was an extra $40 per day resort fee charges by the hotel in ADDITION to the supposedely total charges shown by Expedia. Trickery.
- 3/5
The bathroom was awsome. The bed however was lacking. The mattress pad was to small and would not stay in place. The blanket was a sheet then duvet then another sheet ontop. The tv had limited shows and was old. Other hotels have netflix or other platforms you can log into tmeporarily.

- 4/5
Prime location in the heart of Williamsburg. Easy subway access and parking on site
- 3/5
The beds were hard and extremely low to the ground. Our room was never cleaned while we were there. We had 4 people in our room and the room was stocked with 3 towels and 2 washcloths. They have the large bottles of “community” soap but do not have the small travel size items. The refrigerator didn’t work. The location was perfect though.
- 4/5
The room was clean and much more narrow than expected. Don't buy parking if you are staying one night, the lot right next door is like $40 for the night. High expectations based on the photos and description, the room itself did not deliver. Room service told me call back in 30 minutes to never answer and I had to doordash. I booked a loft with a "city view", I expected the balcony to be cleared of snow for usage. The snow was not cleared and we had a view of a train station. Choose wisely.
- 5/5
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean with excellent, firm beds and great shower. Very reasonable prices for this quality, in the heart of Williamsburg next to L line with quick and simple access to everything in Manhattan. Couldn’t recommend it more highly
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel! Very clean, good location, and most of all such a friendly and helpful staff! Definitely will stay there again!
- 3/5

We arrived on a snow day and some staff was outside shoveling, as we pulled up to unload they were not friendly and seemed very bothered by our arrival. The front desk female that works the evening seems to hate her job but the gentleman at our check out and the female during the day shift was very friendly, smiling and pleasant. We had a few bills laying around when we had asked for room service as we stepped out for dinner and it was gone when we returned it wasn’t much to complain about but it was very obvious and unprofessional.
- 5/5
Everything.
- 3/5
Room was clean. Bed was very very firm. Not comfortable and very low to the ground. The lighting in the rooms is very bright and cold. It’s a fine hotel. The hotel is in a good location though!

Staff was great, room was nice and cozy!
- 0.5/5
It was bright 99.9% of things, I had such an awful experience I’ve been waiting for someone to reach out to me.
- 1/5
The room was filthy with toothpaste stains in the sink, stains on the stables and floors. There were also mold stains on the wall.
- 2/5
Staff was wack…the service at the bar was terrible…charged me an extra 400 for “security purposes” house cleaning only came 1x
- 4/5
Location to subway Wall extremely thin between rooms .. noise volume of other guests on our shared wall made it difficult to sleep
- 5/5
The hotel in general was very clean. The front desk staff was very helpful
- 1/5
I recently stayed at your property and wanted to share feedback regarding my experience. First, I would like to say that the room itself was nice and clean, which we truly appreciated. However, upon arrival after a very long and hectic travel day, including hours on the airplane and the commute from the airport to the hotel, we were looking forward to resting immediately. Unfortunately, shortly after arriving, the fire alarm began sounding and continued for over an hour. I contacted the front desk to ask whether we should evacuate, and I was informed that there was no urgency and that engineers were working to resolve the issue. Despite this reassurance, the alarm continued for an extended period of time, making it impossible to rest after our travel day. Additionally, my partner and I occasionally work remotely and require reliable Wi-Fi access. The following day, we experienced significant connectivity issues. A message repeatedly appeared on the television indicating connection problems, and we were unable to access stable internet service for a period of time. This created further inconvenience during our stay. I have photo and video documentation of both issues and am happy to provide them if needed. Given these circumstances, I am respectfully requesting compensation for at least one night of our stay. I believe this would be a fair resolution considering the disruption and inconvenience we experienced. I look forward to hearing

It was beautiful and we had a lot of fun, the fire alarm did go off for almost an hour before it was figured out
- 1/5
Failed to provide notice, fail to meet NYCs 120°F at the tap. And to top it off the fire alarm went off at 2:30am With a bogus resort fee as well.
- 3/5
The staff was nice enough. But in that restaurant they could have listened to my request about how loud the music was. The bar in the lobby had pretty good food. Thank goodness there were other options for dining close by. The robes had no ties. The water should be hot in the shower!
- 3/5
The room was nice. Staff was helpful. Robes come to the room without a belt to tie. The water in the shower never got beyond luke warm. I was shivering as I took a shower. That is the least that a hotel should provide. I was wondering if this hotel is on the decline. Which would be a shame because it does have a hip vibe.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was great! Room was clean and parking right there was great and reasonably priced. Both restaurants at the hotel were good. Not sure why this place has mixed review
- 2/5
Table tops and counter tops were dirty and stained. Room fridge didn’t work and had a foul odor.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Staff room is relatively clean but the walls need painting and the room should have a rug
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and when told of an issue they swiftly took care of it. Thank you
- 5/5
Great location!
- 3/5
Parking garage built into the rate was confusing. Nonin and out privileges????? Also, you guys need to open your coffee bar way before 7:30am. 6 or 6:30 would be more accommodating or at least put drip coffee on the bar for self serve. No one wants in room coffee since there’s no clean water in the room and people need their creamers and such. Just my two cents.
- 5/5
Great property. Conveniently located near transportation and close to Williamsburg bars and restaurants. City is also just a couple stops on the train.
- 5/5
Everything was great - the room was clean, bright and comfortable with great bed and shower. Staff at the front desk were uniformly friendly and responsive
- 4/5
The Staff was great
- 5/5
Super clean room, friendly staff, and a great location in Williamsburg. Everything was easy and comfortable—would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Very good experience. The room was spacious and pretty clean. My only complaint is that room service woke me up 3 times because they thought no one was in the room.

Bad attitude and customer service was terrible

When we arrived there was an issue with our bill. There was a large discrepancy between what hotels.com gave me and what they were charging. The woman at the desk was rude and cocky. After some arguing with her we started dealing with the manger and John another CSR. They were very helpful and kind.
- 5/5
Huge room, very clean
- 3/5
We had to change rooms because of a banging noise. and the manager (Josi?) was awesome, very helpful. The hotel seemed a bit dirty, old.
- 3/5
It is missing the ‘hospitality’ in hospitality business.
- 4/5
Clean room, comfy beds, great location near subway stations, and the staff held our bags for early/late flights out. I do think the price was steep for what we experienced, but staying on a weekend in december is bound to be pricey. I would stay again!
- 1/5
First of all, our room type was not honoured per reservation (loft) due to availability issues. Secondly, our room had a strong smokey smell despite reserving for a non-smoking room. While front desk staff were helpful the manager was rude to us for demanding a different room due to the price difference. Overall it was a subpar experience for my partner and I, which was disappointing.
- 4/5
Great location for our stay in Williamsburg. Easy access with the driveway for Uber access, especially with luggage. Room was spacious. Staff was extremely nice! Loved the cafe in the lobby for morning coffees and expresso drinks. Will be back!
- 5/5
Love this place. Definitely I will stay there again

Room was fine but the situation with a total lack of security for who enters the building,

- 5/5
Clean, stylishly decorated, great location!
- 4/5
Staff was very nice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A glass of wine at the bar was 26.0! Crazy expensive but overall great experience
- 3/5
The room served its purpose for sleeping but was less than stellar for comfort. It was beat up, had no chair even to sit in and had low platform extremely hard beds that weren’t ideal for lounging at all. The location was convenient for us because of its proximity to our relatives that live in the area and also the subway access just outside the main entrance. We felt it was grossly overpriced and nothing special to reflect that price.
- 3/5
Room can be more clean. And hope staff can be more friendly. Thanks.
- 3/5
The room was in good condition but the bed was low to the floor. First time I've ever stayed in a hotel where the bed was that low to the floor. I'm 5'6 and it was lower than knee. Also the parking was weird. The hotel parking fee only covered you leaving your car there and not taking it out until you left. Otherwise you had to pay the fee with the parking lot instead. I wouldn't advise paying the parking fee through Expedia because you'll lose money if you pay for more than one day.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff, decor is beautiful and smells great there!
- 5/5
nice
- 5/5
Our hotel room was clean, modern and comfortable. We purchased the breakfast-for-two option when we booked the room and really enjoyed the opportunity to stroll downstairs and a hot, made to order breakfast each day with a specialty coffee. The proximity to the subway was also very helpful.
- 5/5
good
- 4/5
We had to change our Room as the first one was very noisy. Staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
The staff was so accommodating and sweet. Made my birthday weekend so peaceful and perfect.
- 5/5
Very clean. Wonderful staff. Incredible location. Next to L and G train.
- 2/5
dilapidated rooms, no hot water in the morning
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Right by Kellogs Diner and the Green Line. Staff was very nice and helpful.
- 4/5
The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had quality fixtures and tiling modern and beautiful. The only setback we experienced was not having our key cards active for use earlier than checkout time.
- 5/5
Great stay as usual
- 3/5
It is terribly close to the freeway and if you book through Expedia you for sure will have a room directly next to the freeway. Let us hotel room I have ever stayed in and I travel a lot! Otherwise clean and staff is great.
- 3/5
Hotel is decent. Clean and nice shower. Beds are SUPER uncomfortable and very low to the ground. Not 4 star beds at all. Hence the lower review.
- 3/5
great location, the staff can be quite noisy in the hallways, the room furnishings could do with an update
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Room was clean and stocked. The pipes/plumber made very loud sounds after use. Stayed one night so goood for a night's rest. Staff was great. Decor pretty.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The shower pressure was also great. The bed was also comfortable as well. Will definitely be staying again.
- 5/5
The staff were amazing!
- 4/5
Had a nice stay here, great gym, close to a lot of places on our itinerary and the subway. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Only one drawback, we asked about a late checkout when we checked in, everyone kept saying maybe... But have to wait until day of. Then come to find out we were never going to get one as they were full the next day. That makes sense, but as we were leaving (a big storm was coming) the front desk said if we get stuck they have plenty of room.... So which is it?
- 5/5
Great stay and was a great price.
- 5/5
Great location. The room was clean, but looked well used. Stained furniture etc…
- 1/5
looks nothing like it does in these photos. Also, when my husband got out of bed this morning, I used Band-Aid came out of the sheets. I mentioned to the front desk. No real reaction on their part. And I paid a fortune for the room.
- 5/5
Did not eat there
- 5/5
We loved our stay! The hotel is modern and very clean. The rooms are spacious compared to many NYC hotels. The staff were all really attentive and helpful. The area is very walkable and near many train stops. My partner and I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Hotel staff are very responsible and helpful. I forgot to take out stuff from the save box. Called hotel reception and the service manager took care of this right away. I got my stuff back safely. Thank you! Room is very clean and comfortable. Hotel location is right next to M subway line. Overall very pleasant stay.

Lots of noise from 12-1am on a Sunday night in the hallway during our stay.
- 5/5
Comfortable bed, bedding, towels. Pleasant staff. Good restaurant on site.
- 5/5
Good location, reasonable rates, no noise.

The hotel itself is located in a very convenient area. There are a lot of places to eat within walking distance and the walk to the water to see the city views is nice. Parking is really easy and

Great hotel!
- 5/5
Manager and front desk staff very helpful.
- 4/5
Great hotel and location. Very convenient. Safe was very friendly and helpful
- 3/5
Common areas and room were very beat up and weathered for what appears to be a relatively new hotel. Accommodations were average.
- 4/5
!!
- 5/5
The front desk staff were a stand out group of people!!
- 4/5
I would not want to stay in room 505 ever again. The noise and vibration from the Hvac system was bothersome
- 3/5
It has some problems with people working there that are not efficient. Room was done once only in 3 days/4 nights. Had to always ask for dry towels. Lobby bar served very mediocre food and unseasoned salad. most of the time not staffed.
- 5/5
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel , the property is so stylish the staff are amazing, even the management are too tier !!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel! See you guys again soon☺️
- 5/5
Very clean

Loved the location

Loved the city view

I was pointed to the direction of the lounge and elevators. When I got up to my room, I noticed that even though it may have been cleaned, it didn't look clean. I went back down to the front desk and inquired about the pool, I was told to "go and look to see if it's open". It was not. I did not have the opportunity to enjoy that amenity. The next day I wanted to order room service – When I called down, I was notified that their "system was down". I told the person on the phone, "you do understand that you're holding $200 of my dollars PER night?" They said yes. Tried again the next morning. The front desk was completely unaware of the system being down. Walked down to the restaurant and the system was still down. Positive: Great location, room service cleaned the room daily and did so well even though the finished of the room look a little rough. Do not make the mistake that I did and write off reviews. Alot of them were very accurate unfortunately
- 4/5
My only disappointment was that we had to wait HOURS to check-in. We were unable to shower and change before our Broadway Show.
- 4/5
The location is good. Easy to walk around the area.
- 5/5
I adore this property and the staff
- 5/5
great location
- 5/5
Great stay. Would definitely book again.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a great location being next to a subway station and a short walk from many cafes and restaurants. You have to try the birria taco truck across the street in the evening, it's delicious!
- 4/5
Hotel is always a fun stay for us. Great location and friendly/professional staff.
- 5/5
As described!
- 5/5
Hotel was very nice. Bed a little low and could be more comfortable. Other than that, I loved it!
- 5/5
Nice hotel , nice garden area , close to subway
- 5/5
After reading the reviews I was expecting sassy NYC staff but everyone was SO NICE!
- 5/5
Youthful people
- 4/5
Staff friendly and helpful. Property generally nice and stylish but room itself could use some repairs - floors torn up/scratched up, shower leaky with poor design flooded bathroom floor unless towels spread across threshold to form dam to prevent flooding.
- 5/5
I had two rooms and the staff and Manager was amazing!! I will come back again for sure! Chandler was great! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! We had a big group and they accommodated and made sure we had everything we needed! Thank you again
- 5/5
The hotel manager Chandler was amazing! Called to check on my reservation and made sure our rooms were ready when we arrived! The whole staff from the desk receptionist to the lobby cafe were just great! I appreciated how friendly and welcoming everyone was! I will definitely be back to the hotel! Thank you everyone who helped out the Harris from room 530&522! You were amazing!
- 4/5
The beds were very comfortable, rooftop pool was very nice
- 2/5
Clean
- 5/5
Hotel entrance is around the corner. Comfortable, but the real sleeper is the diner downstairs that we only learned is “don’t miss” after checking out. Hope to return next trip to Williamsburg. Parking garage next door is not part of the hotel, but also worked great.
- 2/5
For the weekend price i expected the interior to be a little better. I highly recommend not have fabric head boards for hotels as they were stains across them. The arrival date we only had access to the pool for 2 hours as the pool closes so early. Then someone rented out the roof top so we did t have any rooftop accessafter 5 30pm. We weren't accomdated at all for the inconvenience. I would not have book this hotel if the website informed us of the private and no rooftop/bar lounge access. Waste of money.
- 1/5
I like the property - the location is fabulous and the roof pool is wonderful along with the restaurant - but after staying last year the staff proved very inflexible this time. Do to travel changes I ended up paying over 1000.00 for my one night stay - not even a passing attempt made at refunding me, (I did book a non-refundable rate in their defense) but there was no effort made at offering me a free late checkout or even a water when I checked in at 2:00am with my family due to flight delay/cancelation. A small gesture would have gone a long way. I like the indigo brand and recently stayed at another location that was fantastic - but ultimately will not stay here again and will likely never stay at another due to my experience.
- 4/5
I liked that it had a rooftop pool. However, loungers were not exclusive to guest and was recommended we pay a resort pass to reserve loungers.
- 4/5
The large outdoor seating area off the lobby was closed off with a sign that stated it was closed for landscaping/renovation. Unsure what that timeline is........Rooms were good (have stayed here before); spacious for NYC, clean, great shower/pressure. Requested an additional hour for a noon check out and the front desk denied the request.
- 5/5
Great suite
- 2/5
There was no communication of what was covered or not covered in the reservation. We bought parking for overnight. When we pulled out the car for an evening event, no body told us that there was no reentry benefits. When we came back it’s when we were slapped with a bill. Rooms do not have microwaves and there are no microwaves anywhere for occupants. The pool is open only up to 1pm for kids. So afternoon fun with kids in the pool is out.
- 4/5
Rooms and overall property are starting to show their age. Nothing too crazy, but chipped paint, lightly stained carpets, couches in common area that are showing signs of wear and tear. Nothing out of the ordinary for a property that is over 10 years old, but you notice. I thought the level of cleanliness could be improved, especially at the pool. It’s the little things, for example the dusty and empty hand sanitizer at the entrance, that signal that the staff isn’t really paying attention to details. Housekeeping was more hit or miss. We called to request toilet paper on 3 consecutive days as they were not replenishing it without a reminder. Again, the details… Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel for an affordable option in Brooklyn.
- 1/5
When I arrived, I was told the event wasn’t happening at all. No explanation, no notice — just completely false information after multiple confirmations. To make matters worse, the female front desk staff were dismissive, cold, and unhelpful. I calmly expressed my frustration, but no one took accountability or even offered an apology. The hotel is beautiful, but the lack of communication and poor customer service made my stay disappointing. First impressions matter, and the front desk really set a negative tone.
- 4/5
Check is 11:00am. Key card stopped working at 10:45am for room & elevator. Had to walk down stairs to front desk, wait on line to get card reactivated with a dozen other guests waiting on line to get their key cards reactivated.
- 4/5
This was a great hotel with plenty of positive aspects. But I will say that it was super clubby and loud inside the hotel. The pool rooftop bar was great, but if I hadn’t wanted to use it, it would have been a serious negative. The location is also great. And the rooms are large for nyc, only downside was that the beds were super hard and
- 1/5
This stay was horrible. I reserved through Hotels.com for “pay at hotel” for 1092.99. After checking out, i saw receipt from Hotel Indigo for 1266. Room rates were higher. Indigo confirmed rate was accurate through expedia. Contacted hotels.com and they said nothing they could do because i clicked pay at hotel. Horrible. Dont trust hotels.com price because it might not be accurate. And when you called, they would not help you bc you paid the hotel directly.
- 5/5
Only down side would be parking.
- 1/5
I would rather stay on Devils Island than this hotel.
- 4/5
We enjoyed the location.
- 5/5
The property was clean everything easily accessible, the rooftop was a nice added touch. The staff was very much helpful and inviting Chandler the manager went above and beyond to assist me with my sister‘s bachelorette weekend I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality and assistance.
- 5/5
We stayed at this location for a few days and are satisfied with the experience. The area is pretty walkable, and there are plenty of dining and drink options around. The hotel bars are also pretty nice. The drinks were good! We had a chance to experience Aliya and the adjoining pool - which was nice. The water was clean and the temperature was pleasant. We got there early, so it wasn't too crowded, but there were a small number of lounge chairs available. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back to this location.
- 5/5
Great property. Kind staff.
- 5/5
The staff and front desk check in service was impeccable!
- 5/5
The room could’ve definitely been cleaner you can tell they just swept things under the bed, like I found lots of rose petals & even someone’s dried contact lens on the floor. But overall I enjoyed my stay, the main attraction really is the rooftop pool.
- 4/5
Cool place to stay in.. just far from everything
- 3/5
Honestly, I probably won’t stay here again. My favorite hotel in Williamsburg is the William Vale, and everything is amazing there. However, I will start by saying Indigo is nice as far as esthetics, fairly clean, beautiful pool area. But the beds are so hard and uncomfortable I didn’t rest well at all. It was after 11:00pm at night when we checked in. There was a charge hold on the card I booked with, prior to checking in. I told the manager that I’d be putting another card on file. He informed that policy is, all charges had to be on one card, and there was nothing he could do. I understand policy but, customer service and accommodating your customers should be most important. Even after getting that settled we were not informed on how to get to our room or what amenities were available to us, nothing.
- 5/5
We loved the room, it wasn't exactly like the photos but it was so beautiful and a a great space for a small get together! Overall the room was beautiful, but the customer service was really the best. The staff was sooooo nice! they delivered us ice, and picked up extra trash from the room. The check in was smooth and they helped us so much with our bags and extra questions we had. The pool was nice, the extra rules were weird, and the empty cabanas that were not used and could have been used for the visitors were strange. I highly recommend opening those up if they aren't rented. It is a waste.
- 1/5
This is a 1-2 start Hotel that charges price of a 4-5 start Hotel. I got a room with "balcony" Balcony was overseeing the back yard of the hotel which was filled with broken chair and used mattresses piled up like you would see in a county dumpster. The Brooklyn bridge is about 30 feet from the room and honking and police sirens with terrible sound isolation made it practically impossible to sleep. I had to use my noise cancelling headphone to get a few hrs of sleep. The front desk cant be more unhelpful and dismissive. They routinely pass people to the next shift. I stayed for a seminar. This was the second time that I had a seminar here. They have some medium size rooms in the basement with very steep stairs which I doubt is in the code. The room temperature is in 60s and they always say engineering is looking into it. The bathrooms for the whole 3 day didnt have soap. and paper towel always runs out and no one bothers to refills it or collect the used paper towels spreading on the bathroom floor. They have only 2 elevators for the whole building so everyone has to wait for a long time to get on it. The keys are activated by your room card but you have to attach it multiple times to recognize. One time me and another person each attached the card probably 10 times with no luck and the elevator went up and down until someone from Hotel who was randomly in the elevator used his master key. I advised the medical company to not use this location again.
- 3/5
I gave it a 3 stars because yes the hotel is nice, the food good & the staff was amazing, BUT the bed was rock hard and had a lot of dirt stains on the bed frame. It didn’t look like the room had been swept or wiped down. Since the bed was so uncomfortable I had back pain all weekend and couldn’t sleep. I’m assuming an event was happening and guess our room was above the event room and the music was just crazy loud. Also there were soooo many flies in the shower/ bathroom kind of grossed me out. For the amount of money that is charged for the room I was just expecting it to be 10/10.
- 4/5
Beautiful property with clean rooms.
- 2/5
The shower was broken, the beds are small and uncomfortable, the breakfast options were way overpriced and limited in choice, the staff were not helpful.
- 2/5
Worst customer service. Not worth it. Find another hotel
- 4/5
Room- it was perfect now it can be lil bit more clean there was dust and the floor needed to be mopped The Pool - so I think hotels customers should have more of the pool than outside people I think is not fair for the kids 5 hours Check out was good but they charge me $40 for each day on fees why? There was no awnser I did get no services no room service they never came and clean the room or change trash bags or anything is crazy you pay for one price online and then get hit with $300 more for no reason is crazy
- 3/5
This place looks like it’s pretty decent, but it is really not in good shape, The pool was closed for private events for two days of the heat wave with no notice. There was an unhoused fellow sleeping in the courtyard that was left unlocked. My television did not connect to the internet and when a service person came, he said the wires were broken and couldn’t be fixed. The objective of the stay was pool time! Or chilling watching movies. Neither was available to do. The bar/coffee bar had one tender and there wS little available to purchase. For the price, it is absolutely not worth it with the amenities not available and not explained when booking.
- 4/5
Our stay was nice. Hotel staff was accommodating. Glad the AC was cold as it was hot and humid outside.
- 3/5
I booked the 1 bedroom suite loft. Had the potential to be a 9 but presented as a 7. Floors need more cleaning- mopping. Every once in a while a touch up of paint who be nice to keep the property looking fresh and well maintained. The large shower head did not work. The furniture was cheap and the bedside nightstand was also cracked. For the price I would have expected the cleanliness and condition of the property to be better. Also the large balcony is a nice touch but the outdoor cushions had bird poop on them- so I couldn’t really enjoy the benefit of the balcony.
- 5/5
Pool and pool bar
- 4/5
Great location
- 3/5
Hotel was good, rooms look great, plenty to do around the area, my only note is the bed wasn’t comfortable at all, but i still recommend for travelers visiting NYC
- 3/5
The hotel was fine. What I could not get over was the property and parking situation. There is a single lane driveway up to the hotel so you just sort of have to gauge whether anyone is coming the other way before pulling in. Same with the parking garage, except it’s way harder to see because there’s a turn involved so you have to just hope for the best. We pulled in the garage and were told to back out (of a very narrow garage, involved a turn, etc) because cars had to get out and it is the only entrance/exit… literally one maybe 8-foot wide lane. It was very stressful even with a small sedan and we ended up parking around the block to avoid issues at departure. I also saw no signs warning you that the lane served both directions - maybe they were there and I missed them but either way it’s unsafe. I’d stay elsewhere next time for these reasons alone.
- 5/5
Clean, decent size of the room
- 1/5
Rats all over the outdoor garden area, should not advertise having an outdoor space that can’t even be used due to all the rats everywhere. Plus bartender upstairs at pool bar was very rude for no reason at all. Would never stay here again.
- 5/5
Great front desk experience. GREAT location
- 1/5
IHG needs to conduct a hotel review for the agreement with the club (operated by a 3rd party) and shut down thier operations and loud music. The hotel staff completely understood when they heard how loud the music was in our rooms from the club downstairs and moved us to a suite on the 6th floor. They did well, but IHG has a real problem at this property.
- 5/5
I didn’t receive my deposit after 2 weeks and counting that’s the only issue I have a problem with
- 5/5
Was a great stay overall. Aesthetically pleasing. Was everything I needed for a date night with my partner. The Continent was a 10/10. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Loved the staff
- 4/5
I was there for a wedding and Hotel Indigo space was used for wedding activities - courtyard & upstairs suite. It worked well. My room was very attractive and all worked well. Comfortable linens, lots of light from windows, attractive bathroom, mini-fridge. Hotel had city noise outside, but otherwise was quiet at the end of the hallway. Desk staff was responsive but sometimes communication was difficult regarding basic area information - possible language issue? and more resources for desk staff regarding immediate area would be a good addition - metro, couple of restaurant recommendations, etc. Pool looked nice but was not open. Seemed safe to walk nearby at night for dinner. Overall a pleasant stay and would stay again.
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
We paid a premium price for a busy weekend and I would say it was not worth the $388/night but we didn't have a choice. Always book early if you can!! The staff was incredibly accommodating and nice and it's not their fault that the hotel is owned by a huge corporation :)
- 5/5
Great location right by the subway. Lots of local eateries within walking distance. Definitely will staying again when in NYC.
- 5/5
Great nice place staff was as accommodating as could be
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. Especially the front desk.
- 5/5
We loved the hotel and the location. It was beautiful inside.
- 4/5
It is mostly very good. A couple of extra coffee containers would be very helpful as well as getting rid of small flies in the shower stall would be helpful.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay! Friendly, helpful staff and the location was amazing.
- 3/5
People slamming doors all night/ I could hear conversations like they were in our room people up to 4:00. I complained at the front desk they stated sorry nothing else.
- 5/5
Excellent size room, very helpful staff.
- 4/5
The property itself was okay, but the area was very gritty and the patio area was full of rats!
- 5/5
We have stayed there three times! Location is key!
- 4/5
The hotel was fine, but the area around it is a little gritty.
- 5/5
Best I could ask for an overnight in Williamsburg. Everything I needed was in the room! Nice quiet room and air conditioning. Opened in 2019 it’s maintained quite well

The shower water was a bit tricky. Took a while to warm up and
