The room was very well laid out and very clean. The buffet breakfast had a large variety of items. The food was good. The staff was helpful and friendly.We needed transportation to the airport and a staff member set that up for us. The driver was professional and did a great job getting us to the airport .Overall it was a great stay. We always choose Residence Inn Marriotts and have never been disappointed.

I liked the size of studio, really spacious for Manhattan. Also, it was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very polite and helpful - we were able to leave our bags for a few hours both on our arrival and departure days. Also, breakfast area was managed very well - no crowds, and it did not feel overwhelmed, like often happens in NY hotels. Breakfast choices were limited but overall breakfast was OK.

Remodeled, clean, updated facility. Staff was very professional. There was a rumbling sound all night. It sounded like HVAC equipment. Impacted our sleep. Only reason I didn't rate the facilities "exceptional".

Nice large rooms that are clean with a kitchen where we couks cook our own meals! Staff working at breakfast especially Carlos was amazing. The behavior of front desk staff! They seemed mean to us when we arrived- asking us to prove that we booked the room….even after providing them with the welcome email they sent us! We arrived late in the night and had kids that were extremely tired, but they kept us for such a long time seeming to question whether we actually could afford to stay in their hotel! That was mean!

The room was very functional and stylist, spacious and included a kitchenette and a bathtub. The linens were clean. We encountered issues with access to the internet streaming services on the television, and the hotel’s tecnician came but couldn't fix so we were invited to change rooms, which we did. The second room had the same amenitiies except the bathtub. We had access to the internet streaming services but this time the remote was uncooperative. We decided to exercise discretion and enjoyed the other amenities. Overall it was a great experience that I would rate highly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. 9.5 out of 10.

We had a fantastic stay here. I was traveling with my mom, who has some mobility issues. From the first interaction when we pulled up in the car until when we left, the staff was so helpful and accommodating. John, who helped us with our bags and checking my car was exceptional. Kind, friendly, helpful, and just awesome.

Confusing photos on the site regarding the sleeper sofa - there isn’t one in the bedroom of the corner suite only in the living room

Recently remodeled and mostly great. Bed was not comfortable, transferred a lot of motion from partner while sleeping, and foam pillows were way too thick with no other option. Gym had basics that you need. Breakfast was decent but got very busy right before closing. Our room was quiet which we really appreciated. Elevators were very slow at peak times.

Overall comfortable rooms, and kitchenette was a big bonus, since we don’t like eating out Great location, walking distance to a lot of things you want to see in NYC Very pleasant and responsive staff Negatives: Mattresses too soft for our liking, but pillows are great Valet service is very expensive and super slow. Almost two hours wait, all due to the fact that parking locations are scattered TVs are blocked from being able to use ROKU. We always bring our Roku to watch whatever we want, but here it was not possible due to some very convoluted scheme to not allow access Breakfast is typical for most hotels, and if you are trying to eat healthy, there is always oatmeal and boiled eggs Overall, not bad. But we will likely look at other places next time due to the reasons described above.

the staff was nice and the buffet breakfast was decent, neat room and common areas. Because I booked with booking.com , that placed restrictions on my reservation. Which mean instead of paying the a part up front and a part after the stay was completed, I had to pay it all upfront. This ended up being a huge mistake and problem because the stay was only for one night and there were disruptive equiptment noises that kept me from sleeping well. The one night check for a good night sleep was my entire point of booking. Sadly that did not happen and because I paid everything up front, there was no way to recoup my losses at all.

Breakfast was good, a nice way to start a busy day. The rooms were large for New York, we had plenty of space for two. Front desk assistant was helpful with questions and arranging transportation.

I can’t say enough good things! We stayed for only 1 night, but the room was very spacious, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We looked out at the building next door which was fine because it was so quiet! The breakfast buffet was delicious and had everything! The price was affordable. I’d definitely stay again!

1. No fan in the bathroom. I know it is hit and miss with hotels and is just my preference. 2. Construction right outside my room across the street in the middle of the night. I called the front desk and they were unaware and said all they could do is give me ear plugs (which I said I already have been using). I ended up sleeping on the bathroom floor as I could close the door to block the sound. Not too happy for paying over $700 to sleep on the bathroom floor... I know it is beyond their control, but would have been nice if maybe offered a room on the opposite side, if available.

Hotel is in a great area. Easy walk to theater district or up to Central Park. Grand Central station aid a five minute walk away. Breakfast is in included and the staff does a great job keeping the food ready and easy to access. Super clean! Would stay here again.

Location is perfect, staff is very friendly and effective. Almost all perfect with the facilities and room too, except for a few things that could be improved. Bed is too soft, seems like a really old mattress. Loud noise coming from the AC fan that I could not turn off or turn down (it is like a central AC that is always on). The hotel had issues with the Booking system and they did not solve this issues for me. Instead, I had to expend hours in the telephone talking with booking and with the hotel. I was a bit stressful and the property should have resolved this, not me.

We spent two weeks at this location. Overall good experience although 4th floor was extremly loud (nighly garbage collection)from room facing street..avoid these rooms--seems you automatically get these when reserving through Expedia :-(. Excellent response from managment with a faulty AC. Problem was resolved in less than 30 minutes at midnight. Daily cleaning service was impecable. Highlight was daily full breakfast and friendly and courteous service from staff. Shout out to Carlos and Carmen during early morning breakfast hours, was a special treat to see them working dilligently every morning always making you feel at home.

We chose this hotel because it’s so close to Grand Central Station, close to really amazing restaurants, walkable to Central Park and Broadway and Rockefeller Plaza, shopping and daily breakfast for our family of 4. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very nice with lots and lots of options and some items change daily. The one thing I would like to see, not just at this hotel, but literally EVERY hotel - more hooks for bath towels!!! I mean, there were only two hooks and four damp towels. We always have to hang them from the tops of doors or chair backs or on a hanger in the closet, with not a lot of air flow. Whenever I see ample hooks for towels at a hotel, I just love it. But alas, no one ever thinks of this hardly. Residence Inn in Midtown was a lovely place to stay and we definitely would go back!

The room was more spacious than I thought it would be. I especially appreciated being surprised by the balcony and many choices of lighting(great lamps!) My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet and felt safe. I enjoyed the breakfast as well.

I am a Flight Attendant for work, and so I stay in hotels several times a week. This was a leisure trip, but one of the best stays/places I've ever had. Everything was clean, VERY spacious (esp. for NYC), location was perfect, close to everything but out of the Times Square bustle. This hotel was even QUIET! We heard not a thing at night (perhaps because we were on 11th floor, but still. Both the doorman and the receptionists were helpful, attentive, proactive, and kind. I could not speak more highly of this place!

The hotel was great all around. Lovely staff on reception and the room was exactly as expected. Also very clean. Breakfast was very welcome and easy to get a table (time of year probably helped). The hotel held our luggage for us on the last day no problem. Would definitely look to stay again on next trip to NYC.

Helpful hint for future guests: The bathroom exhaust fans barely work so if you want to try to drown out the road noises, you'll want to pack a small portable fan. White noise apps don't do a whole lot. Earplugs are a must for light sleepers.

This hotel is in walking distance for shopping and dining. I stayed there with my family and we walked to Time Square in a few minutes. It was also close to make attractions.

Free breakfast which we enjoyed. You can eat in the dining area or take a tray to your room. So convenient for late sleepers. No evening restaurant or bar but plenty of options around the hotel.

Staff were really nice, attended us very well. This hotel is nice & accommodative, our baby of 4 months had all the needs in this hotel! I just recommend if you have a diesel truck, the parking infront the hotel is not suitable for you. You have to park blocks away from the hotel, & the area itself is a bit hard to get by. Other wise, really good service.

The day of admission is very terrible there was an explosion near to the hotel , all electricity was off my room was in 8th floor and I going up and down with stairs it was so hard , and I got my room card at the end of the day cause the system hanged ,

Over all it was pretty good, front desk staff was very friendly & two of dinning staff ( men’s ) were very kind. Breakfast was good but can use one more waffle makers thought. Shower presser was very low but I would go back there again in the future😃!

I wanted to stay in a hotel close to all major landmarks in midtown manhattan and this was the perfect hotel to stay in the area. I booked 2 rooms and our 5 night stay was perfect with my family. I will definitely stay there again for next NY trip.

Convenient midtown option with large rooms and kitchen

* For those with cars, note that valet parking is available but we found the cost to be exorbitant even for NYC ($105 for 24 hours plus a series of taxes which were not disclosed by staff that resulted in rate of over $125). We paid valet for 2 nights then found an alternative lot a couple of blocks east of the hotel ($60 for 24 hours including taxes).

Excellent Staff! Emma, Claudia & Louis were AMAZING!!!! We felt safe, we also felt that it was the best location for our family! The room was a Great Size, Beds were comfortable! Morning contractors Noise minimal.. Nights were perfect! Breakfast was very good comes with your stay and plenty!! The only downside we experienced was showers were warm not “hot” and I felt that the stacking of used furniture and bedding outside the Hotel door could be rethought my operations!! Our stay was exceptional and we will stay again!!!! Thank you East 48th Team! The Texans Loved y’all ❤️

There's constructions it was a bit difficult. But when we found it the staffs were friendly and there was a public parking right across it was a bit cheap then the hotel. Both the hotel staffs and the Garage across was very nice and friendly.
