This is a great place to stay in Brooklyn. I worked from my room and was very comfortable, loved the mini kitchen, and had access to great restaurants and coffee shops in the neighborhood. The staff were very helpful, too, including the cleaning staff.

Felt very safe. Great microbrewery next door. Amazing dumplings! The desk clerk was very helpful and reassuring. Room was clean, safe and comfortable.

Booked last minute due to a cancelled flight. I didn’t get to use any of the amenities or have breakfast due to early travel however my room was clean and comfortable for the one night stay. Check in staff was great. Check out was quick and easy, however I requested a yellow cab and who showed up was not a yellow cab but a private taxi.. which I did not appreciate.

We were in town for a wedding. Breakfast had a little bit of something for everyone. Hotel was clean, quiet, and front desk personnel was very friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

Changed to handicapped room for way more space and comfort for our 6 night stay. Staff helpful in arranging this. Lots of nearby places to buy good quality food for diy breakfast in room w well appointed kitchen. Fresh fruit and yogurt downstairs was helpful too. Only drawback is the vacant lot next door where unhoused people sleep and leave litter behind in the morning. Otherwise cool neighborhood in Brooklyn close to Park Slope

This hotel was very clean and had a great variety of food at the continental breakfast. It was a short walk to the subway. There was also an excellent coffee shop just a 3 minute walk away. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to NYC.

Very clean, new, comfortable hotel. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious for a New York hotel. Of course it is expensive but comparable for Brookkyn. Subway entrance close and a nice brewery next door.

Town Suites was very clean. Comfortable beds. Wonderful water pressure in shower which is not always the case at hotels. Friendly staff. Near the subway so traveling to Manhattan was convenient. We had delicious meals at nearby restaurants. Quiet hotel during our stay so very relaxing while we were there.

Fantastic welcoming stay. Smiles everywhere, comfy beds, clean rooms, great gym, and hearty breakfast. So pleased we chose this place. Close to Union St subway.

This place was immaculate! Our flights got canceled because of the blizzard. We ended up booking elsewhere but that place was horrible. We found this place and so glad we did. The staff was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean. One of the best stays I’ve had. Also, there was a brewery next-door and across the street which made being a blizzard extra nice.

No laundry service, no complementary water

The location is great for us because we have family nearby. The facility is spotless, the rooms are good, and the personnel are extremely helpful and friendly. I used the laundry which was great, too, because we had been on the road for over a week. "Barn doors" shouldn't be used for bathrooms.

It was very clean and well located. Staff was pleasant. The breakfast was decent. We had an accessible room. And the shower was great. The toilet, however, was low, and a little rocky. The grab bar is were not placed in a way that was easy to reach because of the height of the toilet.

Incredibly helpful staff. Having a kitchenette and full breakfast with lots of good choices made the stay with my young grandson much easier. Everything was clean and in good condition. Convenient location with a local market at the end of the block, a subway stop a block and a half away and many great restaurants within easy walking distance.

Room was very small, you have to ask for a stove\plate so not really a full kitchen. Parking is really limited and the system to get it really not usable ao I wouldn't plan on parking. But you can park in the nearby hotel. Overall for the price other nearby hotels are prob. better value if you don't need the kitchenware.

We were looking for a property that could accommodate us for a longer stay, that offered a kitchen in room, and this was the only one we could find in this area. Very happy with our choice! Free breakfast, good Wi-Fi, clean, great location, and convenient amenities. Love it! We originally booked for 1 week, then extended for 3 more weeks👏👍.

I booked a 1 bedroom suite for the night for my mother and I. Arrival was one hour after check-in and was given an accessible room by the hotel. The moment I opened the door to the room I felt an overwhelming lingering stench of mold and urine. It was so potent my mother and I immediately took a step back with horror. I proceeded to investigate where this could have originated and I found the air conditioners were partially to blame. The urine smell came from the rugs and bathroom. I took my complaint straight to Roger, the front desk attendant who originally checked me in. He proceeded to tell me that there was not much he could do being that the hotel was full. I asked for the manager at which he replied there was not one on staff until the following morning. His solution was to search and find a bottle of Febreze that I should spray into the air conditioner and bathroom. I was appalled by the lack of accountability and went back to my room. The next morning I proceeded to communicate my overwhelming feelings of disdain to the Front Desk Manager, Daniel Arizmendi. He proceeded to apologize and promised me that he would award me with a few thousand Marriott Bonvoy points immediately. It has been over a week and I have yet to recieve any sort of follow-up call or activity on my Marriot Bonvoy account. Completely dissatisfied with my overall experience which will be my first and only time choosing a Marriott owned property for my future hotel needs for my family and I.

We paid an exorbitant price (over $600) for a one night stay in a basement room. The room was not advertised as being located on the lower level near the cafeteria. Do not book a room until you confirm the floor of the room! This is a very basic hotel and the front desk person faked being friendly while seething under her breath.

Nice location, 1 min walk to subway. Or 15 minutes to a better subway hub. Great to walk around Brooklyn. Kitchenette in the room is also big bonus. The biggest problem is ventilation and fresh air. Windows are totally locket, A/C makes the room's air cooler but not fresh. So long stay is very uncomfortable. All the smells, CO2 etc stays in the room. Even dangerous for the health. Kitchen doesn't have hot plates, they provide a portable hot plate, available for pick up from reception, but it's not very useful and look old and weird. Breakfast is quite poor - no vegetables, eggs are scrambled only, no lactose free milk etc. But this is typical for even good US hotels unfortunately.

Everything was fine, except there were no hand towels provided or kitchen towels; they provided extra washcloths as substitutes. It also would have been nice if some plain unsweetened yogurt had been offered at breakfast.

Overall it was a beautiful experience for myself and my family.

Parking is the only issue I feel could be a problem. The Hotel only has 20 spaces available. We were able to secure one of those spots, thankfully, but I could see how could be a problem. It was close enough to the Barclays Center so we could walk and we felt safe and enjoyed the walk. The restaurants are plenty in the area. We had a great stay.

A great stay and experience! This place had one of the friendliest staffs I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. We arrived earlier than expected and were even able to check in early. We had a 2 queen room and it was smallish, but perfect for two people. Daily parking rate is a little high in my opinion ($45), but expected and the onsite parking is very convenient. The full kitchen was a great benefit, the place was clean and quiet, and the location was perfect — very walkable to yummy food and shopping.

I wouldn't say dislike, just be mindful of the parking. For a pass it is 45.00 there is free parking on the street if you can get it

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks while she recovered from surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and had a nice view - perfect surroundings for my wife to recover. The staff was great, and I mean everyone: front desk, breakfast staff, the amazing housekeeping crew and the manager. You all made our stay there so pleasant and relaxing. When we need to come back for a follow up appointment to see our doctor this is where we will stay. Highly recommend!!

Friendly and professional staff but our experience with the hotel was very disappointing… perhaps I need to redefine the NY meaning of cleanness and comfort.. we were offered a basement suit for a 3-night stay we had booked for ~$300/night. The room smelled like urine from night one. The “free” breakfast was ok (thanks to the Starbucks coffee across the 4th Ave). Finally, we realized our 3 nights won’t go towards the Marriot’s membership points because it was booked through Hotels.com…

I really liked this hotel! My only mild suggestion is the shower curtain was a tiny bit too short. I wasn't long enough to reach the top of the tub so the floor would get wet. The place we so clean & the staff were amazing!

A good bed and friendly hotel are a must for an extended visit to any city. The front desk person always had something nice to say when I was coming and going. Room clean and updated, but housekeeping never washed out the empty glasses that I left in the sink over the week.

We had a wonderful stay at TownePlace Suites in Brooklyn! It was a nice room and the staff and amenities were perfect for our long weekend in NYC. The location is ideal. Great restaurants and bars within walking distance and a subway station around the corner for easy trips into Manhattan. This will be our go to hotel whenever visiting!

The hotel has limited, but enough parking. The first room I was given smelled like cigarette smoke but the front desk host immediately gave me a room that was fresh smelling. Nice view of blue sky in the morning.

It’s nice. Our bathroom could use a deep clean, but otherwise it was a good single night stay. I loved the on-site parking, convenience store and complimentary breakfast. The rooms and property are nice.

Too expensive for what they offer, breakfast is bare minimum. Room barely had any shampoo.

The checkin experience was poor, arrived around 11.30 pm to find no one at the checkin desk. Lobby was completely empty. Had to wait for half an hour for a staff member to come in and help me checkin. By this time I was so tired and stressed. The fitness center water dispenser was also not working, it gives the tiniest trickle.

From the moment we arrived Danny and Eartha greeted us with a smile and were extremely personable. We ended up staying an extra night and Eartha was helpful in getting this arranged. We didn’t get out much during our stay but were okay with that as we both have busy lives. We would definitely recommend this hotel and come and stay again if given the opportunity.

What a wonderful and pleasant surprise! The room felt brand new, clean, comfortable, was quiet, had good sunlight, had lots of conveniences, and it felt welcoming and and safe. Fourth Ave and President St isn’t exactly a glamorous location, but it’s a short walk to Downtown Brooklyn and Park Slope center. There’s a Starbucks and a good market just steps away. If this is a good location for you, this is a great option!

The room is intelligently designed -- exceptionally clean, black-out blinds. no clogs in shower, well-equipped kitchenette, etc. Given the fact this property is located in a busy part of Brooklyn, it is amazing no noise reached the room. Wish I could have stayed an extra night. Would highly recommend this Marriott to visitors, including my own sister's family who are Bonvoy members.

My child and I got there around midnight! This hotel has no accesible parking at all!! The front desk guy told me that I have to park a few blocks away and then walk back to the hotel with my special needs child; I guess they don’t understand what accesible parking means!! I have to leave and find a hotel that had accesible parking. I was charged for the night of course!!!

I’m constantly being harassed, abused, tormented bullied singled out by the staff hotel. I was treated Terribly. Defamation by staff member Melanie. Gina, the manager just playing on professional stayed in with family here, etc. I have no idea what that has to do with me and staying at a hotel with the Marriott incredibly disgusting behavior, rude disrespectful and I am going to make sure this gets to the top.

Nothing special. Not cheap, very limited parking, but nothing bad about it.

After talking to some guests at the hotel, I got the feeling that they were homeless and being housed at the hotel. Just 15 steps from the front door there was trash, liquor bottles and rats all over the sidewalk. Such a pleasent stay!

Second stay at this property which is well situated for visiting family who live in Park Slope. It’s clean, comfortable and the breakfast is good. The employees are very courteous and responsive to your needs. I especially appreciated Devin and Eartha who checked us in and out.

Decent main bedroom and bathroom. Terrible foldout couch. Camping and sleeping on the ground would have been more comfortable. Rooms needed black-out shades.

We stayed from Friday to Monday and our room was never cleaned, trash was never emptied, or towels replaced. Nevertheless everyone at the front desk was kind and friendly.
