Very nice the new paint is a nice touch ^-^ nice and cheap loved the place thank you for the stay.

Lots of road noise all night so the area is loud. The outside is a little run down but the rooms are like new and super clean.

This place should be shut down immediately, extremely nasty with stained sheets abd walls, burnt wholes on everything absolutely degusting. False advertising and was unable to stay there so we cut our trip shot and drove 3hrrs back home.

Shower head was strong Water was hot Not too much noise Parking was tight and small Rooms weren’t clean to full ability Room smelled closed in and old Bedding looked dirty and old Bathroom VERY VERY small Wifi wouldn’t work Light was blown

The hotel was dirty. We were stuck with a smoking room. The smoking room reeked terribly and everything we brought smells terrible. We had no light bulbs, cigarette burns, and dirty towels. I saw a small cockroach on my way out.

Cheap and convenient

Room was disgusting. Had not been cleaned in a very long time. There was mold under the mattress. Socks turned black from just walking across the floor once. Stains and grime all over the walls, dead cockroaches in the shower. Very disconcerting. And no refunds or accommodations available for these poor conditions. Really just terrible.

After another facility cancelled by reservations on the 4th this place was nice clean and accommodating I was not expecting that for the price I paid on the 4th thank you

The location... I WAS RUSHED OUT OF THE ROOM 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO CHECKOUT TIME. They called while I was in the shower then knocked on my door multiple times while I was dressing. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE HERE AGAIN!!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Property itself is a little old and run down. Bathroom fan made horrible noise while on.

This stay was perfect. Price was amazing. Cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location was convenient The room walls had stains. The floor was sticky all over with a water puddle and stain under the air conditioning. Yes, the pillows are as flat as the sheets.

Looks newly renovated. The location was kind of convenient, but apparently there’s a lot of crime here which we were skeptical about when booking. We didn’t come into contact with anything suspicious, which was good. No breakfast, no amenities. The beds are hard as rock and slide constantly, so if you plan on staying for more than 2 nights, good luck! The pillows are also very thin and my husband and I only got 2.

I liked the quick check in and how clean the room was.

Its in a really good location right near a Wal-Mart, and its located near anything you could possible need. There was no carpet as promised during my booking. The bed felt more like a box spring and has a metal piece under it. The pillows are VERY thin. The room was not ready at check in. The manager told us to wait 5 min before going to the room. We waited 10. We got to the room and the young lady still hadnt finished. The manager asked me if I wanted a smoking room which made me feel like he judged me either by my skin color or my locs because I feel like if I wanted a smoking room, I would have asked for one.

I liked that it was a clean room. The bed was a little to hard for my liking. But, overall good stay. I will try this hotel again. My I also say the staff was nice too.

This place eas good. It was clean and the front desk was accommodating. The only down side wad that the complimentary breakfast wasn't much, just a little bar with coffee and snacks. But I still enjoyed myself.

Drug dealers hanging out people cooking out loud music at night it was just terrible never stay there again

Location, professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of my room. the bed pillows were so flimsy that I had to roll other bedding parts to support my head and neck.

Bad outside lighting, roaches in room, staff hard to understand. Did not stay the two nights booked. Went to another hotel. Would like a refund.

Nothing We got put in a dirty room that had trash and a half smoked cigarette on the floor. My 2 year old picked up the cigarette and put it in his mouth. When I told the manager about it she said I was lying and put that there to get a free stay, even after telling her Im pregnant and don't smoke

Nice renovated room with good bed and comfortable mattresses very clean

The staff was very nice. They are super helpful and try to take care of their property… with the exception of the rooms. The room I was in was very dirty. There were ring marks on the desk and nightstand from cups or something that was condensating. There was something on one of the pillows that I want to say was a booger but I’m not sure. There were stains on the couch. And mold in the mini fridge. The microwave smelled and so did the bathroom.

Everything was great just the only thing curtains was to close to the heating and air conditioner unit. That's it. 👍👍

The check in was great I wasn’t expecting to have to leave early due to bed bugs on both of the beds

Room was clean and in excellent condition with everything including refrigerator and microwave working well.

Turn up in the door to answer the room I noticed the floor was dirty. I own a cleaning company and was only staying there one night, thank God I have my cleaning equipment with me. Look up best and fact that wipes and wipe down the bathroom and room and swept and mopped the floor before our stay. I didn’t complain because it was only for one night. Just a word of advice, alway take cleaning supplies with you

I booked no smoking room and they give a smoke one,room out of date room,construction,empty beds on the side walls,it was just terrible.

We stay here every time we visit Virginia. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean.

Everything was nice and clean. We had no problems. The only thing I missed was the coffee maker in our room. The desk clerks were nice and friendly.

Although outside looks a little rough room was redone,clean, comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Express Inn. The staff was very kind. Everything was clean with the exception of one of the pillowcases that had red lipstick on it. Other than that, the room itself was clean.

The place was just ok...top bed cover was nasty but overall the stay was just over night and can't complain to much.

My stay was good. Room nice took awhile for room to cool down. The lady was very nasty. First they gave me a remote and didnt put the code in. When the guy came up to my room he put the code in but it never got a full screen. So i called back down and told them that the tv was not working so the lady came up with a nother person. She talked very nasty to me and told me she couldnt come back anymore. So i was afraid to touch the remote because i didnt want the tv to mess up. I feel if a tenant has a problem it shouldn't be a problem for them to come fix it. I dont think i will be returning here again after this visit.

The motel was OK but the room I bought on the website and the room I got looks nothing like advertised on the website the bed letting needed updating the bed needs updating

The overall experience was average. Room cleanliness was ok, but noisy tractor trailers from jefferson boulevard sounded like they were on the other side of the door and on their way in the room.

The room was smelly. The microwave was sticky, so the fridge. the inside fridge was sticky too. On top of that, both the fridge and the microwave were smelly. the room floor was not cleaned properly as well. Nothing was good in this place. Uncomfortable pillows. The check-out time was 11. we packed to leave by 11 (we always check out on or before). the front desk called by 10.58, reminded us to check out. worst stay ever.

Last minute getaway...good value. Tried to ask for a room away from other people or not next to anyone but was told no...there was barely anyone at the hotel (still plenty of empty rooms).

it was pretty close to the Hampton Coliseum. The room was clean and freshly painted.

The heat did not work in my room. The hot water was never hot. It ran for 10 minutes and was still lukewarm. The floors looked like they were not swept after the last customer. There was no security chain on the door. I felt unsafe because there were so many people walking back and forth past my room door deep into the night. I believe that it was filled with long term tenants rather than temporary visitors.

House keeping stole belongings from our room, front desk defended them after admitting to going into the room and “cleaning” yet nothing was done. No new towels, no bed made, didn’t take the trash out.

I reached before the sited check in time but the clerk was friendly and immediately checked me in. He gave me the choice of where to stay and I must have gotten a renovated room. The rooms are dated but like I said I think mine was renovated. The shower felt AMAZING!! My room had a mini fridge with freezer (that WORKED really well!!) and a microwave. I slept sooooooooo good!! There is plenty of shopping and food places around, the hotel is in a great location in fact WALMART is right next to it! There are gas stations within feet and less than a mile away...it couldn't be in a better location. Check out was just as good. I'd stay again!

The stay was overall good, nice customer service at the reception. The room was kind of renewed (floors/nice fridge), but the sheets were old and worn out and had cigarettes burns all over in a non-smoking room I have to mention (did give me an impression that were already slept on before we arrived). Same with curtains - burns all over. The AC worked well but it was not on when we arrived so we basically walked in a sauna room that night.
