Best Western Ocean Sands Beach Resort

The floors were filthy. The hotel did not have a mop. The house keeper cleaned the floor with wet towel and bleach spray. The smell stayed in the room all day. The refrigerator was rusted and also the floor. The shower only had one glass door so water was everywhere after showering. I was so unhappy. They did not offer another room. The building was 3 buildings away from the mail hotel. No beach view at all. There needs to be more detail on the website. Parking was horrible we had to back out each time into the street. I will never again stay here ever again. $240 is Extremely Overpriced!!!

Great Location, Tiki Bar is nice, housekeeping could have been better , seems like I was always having to ask for more towels. But I would definitely stay her again.

Hot food offered for breakfast was served in plastic to go containers which were used by guest and then tossed. A biodegradable option would have been less wasteful and possibly cheaper for the hotel.

Ocean view was perfect. If we had kids with us the family oriented pool would have been fun maybe. Old run down filthy. The staff can not keep up with what would need to be done to make things appear clean and fresh.

If you like to party or just enjoy good Irish food - there is an Irish Bar a few blocks (easy walking distance - so leave the car at the hotel) from the hotel called Molly Darcy's - you can eat and party - listen to live music or a DJ and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. We had a great time - the staff was courteous and and professional - at all times and the room was kept clean as was the hotel itself. We have an enjoyable time. We will come back in the future.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and great beach access!! Pool wasn't even clean the first day we got there also no hot tubs which was a huge disappointment. Especially for what we paid to stay there.For 2 days straight there was bags of trash sitting outside our door that housekeeping just left there so we had to smell it the whole time and when we mentioned something to them about it yeah they moved it but didn't bother to throw it away just set it down in front of the elevators for other guests to smell it. Probably won't be staying there anymore as we don't think there is much effort being put into that place.

The price was good and so was the option to have breakfast. Our shower didn’t have a door. The floors were still dirty and sandy and we didn’t realize we would be in a separate building from the main area.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved the ocean-front room we stayed in. The room was larger than expected and the beds were comfortable. Parking on the property was limited and you had to park across the street. It wasn’t bad, just a little nerve-racking at night when I dropped my family off at the doors and I had to park in the overflow parking lot and walk to the hotel alone.

Did like that the two queen beds were separated by bathroom/kitchen and each had its own TV and dresser. Breakfast was very good and beach/ocean view was awesome.

Bathroom door would open or shut unless forced Balcony doors very very loud, could hear all the neighbors slamming them and it would shake everything Outside rinsing station was not working. Toilet was barely attached to floor Shower head was not screwed on all the way leading to water spraying EVERYWHERE.

I was surprised when we were given our room that is was not in the main hotel but in another building the Best Western had acquired 3 buildings down from the hotel. It was advertised as Ocean Front Room, but none in that other building we were put in had ocean front. We had to push our luggage in the cart on the side of the road and watch out for traffic on the way. Also walk back and forth daily for breakfast and for the pool access, it was definitely second rate and not like staying at a nice place like the name Ocean Sands Resort implies. We won't make the mistake of staying here again.

Loved being on the beach, shower was clean, towels were clean, beds were comfortable and clean. The floors were a little dirty almost as if they moped the floor without sweeping and in the kitchen area the floor was dirty around the feet of the stove appliance.

It wasn’t bad for the price. It has a few issues nothing bad. 1. Parking was not easy, big vehicle tiny parking. 2. It has a few cosmetic issues, that can be remolded. 3. Not enough parking spots. But other than those issues, it was a good place to go, the staff was friendly. Access, to the beach was good. The breakfast was good. It can use a good upgrade in the areas I mentioned. I would give 7 out 10. Parking, and some cosmetic issues

The beds were overall comfortable. Breakfast was extremely good. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel had 3 pools, 2 outside and 1 indoor, and although the indoor pool was small it was sufficient. The location was great, just steps away from the ocean. Although the room was decent, it was very dated with dated furniture. Bathroom was tiny and tight, got extremely hot in the bathroom when taking a shower due to not having good ventilation to help cool down the area. Carpet was old and dingy. Parking was terrible, making check in and check out a dread as there was not enough parking at the hotel but across the street and then almost another block over for additional parking.

This was a nice place for the price. They had a really good breakfast. Parking/check in were easy.

I could wake up to ocean breeze. It was very close to the bikers weekend events. They had extended parking. The staff was very nice.

We had to complain with the office to get new bed covers. All they just did was send us new bedcovers to our room. We were told we would have to change the bed covers. Not good.

Parking is a serious issue. That alone, is the main reason we will not stay there again. The lazy river was very shallow and small, but still met the need.

While we understand that the building is old and room were decently cleaned we saw cockroach in the bathroom and AC was leaking from inside.

The TV was very difficult to operate for us "old folks". There were no specific instructions on how to manage the TV.

The breakfast menu was good and acceptable. The lack of convenient parking was unacceptable. There were approximately 12 spaces, excluding handicapped, for each of the 2 buildings and parking was down the street and across from the hotel. The room I reserved was ok ad the housekeeping staff was exceptional and friendly. I was looking for easy access to restaurants, none were on the property, and were within reasonable walking distance. The poor parking, lack of amenities, and no easy access to restaurants, I will never stay at this resort again on my annual vacations in Myrtle Beach or recommend it to anyone.

In the morning we asked to move to a higher floor & landed on the Third floor with a lovely view! Traveling from CT, this is what we looked forward to all winter. A room with a patio and view of the beach where we could relax & relish the whole scene. Best Western Ocean Sands delivered! The morning breakfast had many options and was a great way to start the day. The prompt was very clean & the staff was welcoming & attentive! I enjoy vacationing at the Best Western as it is always reliable, safe & clean. Thank You!!

This is a bait and switch maybe because booked through expedia because they mentioned it at check in but there are 3 buildings -the registration building where breakfast is, the main building where there are ocean views , balconies 2 pools and a lazy river. Also a tiki bar and whatever else. ALL the amenities are there. But what we got was in a third building with none of that. We were the only ones in the whole building the first night. We walked in and the table lamp didn’t work the switch broken, phone did not work and a spider in shower for fun. If you are mobility challenged as i am walking 3 buildings down for breakfast and several more to the main building ( the pictures online are of this building) it is really difficult. In a wheelchair there are not sidewalks so you have to roll on a very busy road and go around the breakfast building for access to get breakfast and there isn’t room for a wheelchair in the breakfast area. That third building we stayed did have an elevator but no ramp to get up to it. We were very disappointed in this hotel and would not stay there again

This hotel was a steal. We walked out and were right on the beach. Hotel room was clean and well kept. It is older and needing some TLC. Location had all the amenities we needed for a great trip.

Hotel was a good night stay for the price. Apparently, the hotel is under construction and is dated. Front desk attendant was rude and unfriendly.

Where to start about our stay. Well initially we booked a room for a hotel room and we're given no details about the property. We arrived just before midnight and were told that the hotel is 3 seperate buildings and that our building was 3 buildings down separated by 3 individual houses. We were put in a motel that was pretty rundown and not the main best western building as shown on the pictures through Expedia. The lobby for check in is in its own building where they serve breakfast, so we had to walk down the road just to get some breakfast and walk back to our room with the food; which was a first for us. 3/4 of the TV channels did not work which was frustrating. The door to the room was so heavy to open/close and did not seem to properly fit the frame. The room was dirty, especially the floor that felt like it had sand all over. It took 10+ minutes to get hot water whatsoever for the sink or shower. The sink constantly backed up and would not drain unless you waited. The bed sheets had what looked to be dog paw prints on it. The room and building are very outdated. The only accomedation we had was the beach access almost right outside of our door. I've never paid for a hotel and was put in a motel. It was a pretty crappy experience unfortunately. Maybe is a complete difference in the main building we thought we were staying in; but definitely won't be staying at this best western again. Would not recommend unless you confirm staying in the main hotel building.

CONS: Outdated rooms, rug was disgustingly dirty and stained —needed to be torn out and replaced with the nice flooring that was in kitchen area When we got there our carpet had not been vacuumed, front desk said they would make a note to have it done next day and it never happened. When we complained about the room, the evening clerk ( who was very helpful) offered us a different one. We looked at it and it was in a similar state minus the huge stain. So we stayed put. Parking is tight and very limited. We were able to find a spot all three nights but during busy times, I’m sure you won’t. All that being said, the price was a bargain for beachfront. We had a balcony overlooking the water, with a kitchenette, two queens, a pull down extra queen and a couch. If you aren’t looking for luxury but want beachfront, this place is good. With a bit of updating and some upkeep, it could be awesome.

The room that me and my friend stayed in wasn't it's best. The carpet had food or crumbs left on it, the floor had a stain (red like it was a blood), the toilet barely wanted to flush, we had to hold it down. The bathtub could've been better, a little dirt was in it.

Breakfast was okay and the staff was half decent. Room didn't look anything like on the pictures on the website. The bathroom sink kept backing on everytime the water was turnt on. So we could barely use the bathroom sink. The patio doors wouldn't lock so thankfully we was on the second floor. When I tried to call downstairs to the front desk, found the telephone didn't work. So I had to walk downstairs everytime i needed assistance from the front desk about something. Someone did come and switched the phone out but come to find out it was the phone line that didn't work. Supposedly they didn't know it wasn't working until i said something. I would definitely not stay there again. Like I said before the pictures on the website must been from when it was first opened up cuz it wasn't the same when I got there

CONS: 1. I wish they had restrooms closer to the pool so its convenient for the kids. 2. They do need to upgrade the property a little. The bathroom door in my suite didnt lock. Also the sliding doors to the balcony didnt lock so it was easy for my 5yo to open by himself. They could use a little oil as well so they don't make noise when everyone is sleeping. 3. The breakfast area was a little crowded because there isnt much room to walk between the tables and food area. Everyone is trying to move back and forth to get what they need and it can be overwhelming. Just be patient and you'll get it done. Overall we enjoyed our time!

The floor was dirty and sticky, and the lightbulbs and lamps weren't working—there was only one functional light, while three were broken. The bed was covered in dust and grime. The towels were used and "smelled of sweat." The parking situation was terrible; you couldn't park head-first—you had to back in—because the space was extremely narrow. All things considered, I give it a 4 out of 10.

We had a bad experience. We walked into our room (immediately after check in), our sheets and pillowcases were dirty. Pillow cases had food and long strands of hair all over it. We called to front desk to have them bring us clean sheets and put them on the bed for us. We were advised by a staff member that housekeeping had left for the day and and they didnt know if they could be of any help. However, moments later, a maintenance man came up with a plastic bag full of sheets to fit a much smaller bed and we were told that we would have to put them on ourselves because noone was there to do it. Our bed was a King size. We called back to the front desk to let them know, and they sent the maintenance guy again with another wrong set of sheets. Staff also could not find a blanket for us to use that night. So, for the third time of the first night, we asked for sheets to fit our king size bed and we were again, given the wrong sheets with no blanket. My husband and I had to sleep in a room with no sheets on the bed. we had to piece the smaller sheets up just to have something to lay on. The bathroom was also nasty and dirty. I had to clean it myself before we could use it. The seat, floor and towels was dirty.We were in room 312, where you can see from the inside of our door to the outside of the door from the large crack between the door and frame. We could here every sound in the hallways and other rooms. Were unsatisfied. The manager said if youll give a refund, he'll approve

Breakfast options were average and not enough seating for people to sit down and eat. Hot water in the shower took a very long time to heat up. The patio doors didn't have locks on them and we had to use the stopper arm to have it locked. I thought it will be a better option than other hotel options I had to choose from and they were cheaper, which I should have selected another one with an inside rooms instead of being outside room entry.

The breakfast area is very small and congested. The food runs out quickly, it's also microwaved food. The room is as expected. We got a room with a stove included, the stove did not work. The indoor pool is very small and not heated well. The outdoor pool is unheated but clean. The lazy river is very small and more suited just for children. Overall the staff was very kind.

We actually absolutely loved our stay here we weren’t comfortable with our original room and they booked us for a different room which was absolutely breathtaking without any additional fees so accommodating so quickly Dan was awesome and I just absolutely loved it and can’t wait for my next stay there thank you again so much for everything

The room was clean and comfortable but there were people staying on the same floor that were loud and obnoxious during the night.

The outside doesn’t look very inviting, but don’t judge it by that. Once inside, the room was spacious with two beds, plus a living area that had a sofa bed and a Murphy bed. Everyone slept comfortably, and there were zero arguments all weekend. Check-in was easy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small hotel fee when booking through Expedia, which I knew about ahead of time and didn’t mind paying. The hot water was AMAZING and never ran out—perfect since I wasn’t feeling great and needed hot baths. They also have an indoor pool, hot tub, lazy river, and an outdoor pool. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is cleanliness. At first glance the room looked clean, but on closer inspection the window seals weren’t wiped down, the sofa bed sheets were dirty, and the toilet bowl wasn’t fully cleaned. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend it—just hoping for better attention to cleaning next time.

Staff were great. We thought we were getting ocean front room not a swimming pool out in front of our sliding doors also the sliding door lock was broke. That said this could have been a safety issuer..

Every thing was paid off on Expedia but when arriving there I got charged fees again, the pictures are totally different than reality as the building is really old, the room and beds were not clean and we found roaches when we can came at night and once we turned on the lights there escaped under the damaged carpet so we had to stay the whole night while lights were on, the breakfast was horrible and we couldn’t eat anything, I’m glad it was just one night but I would never have that experience again.

Although the staff was courteous, the hotel was definitely lacking in some areas. We rented a suite that was supposed sleep 8 but there were only 4 large towels and 4 small towels in the room. The ad stated that there were roll away beds available but we were informed that her food not ice those as well.

The room looked nothing like the room shown online.

The rooms were clean, the ocean front view was gorgeous, and the staff was super friendly! My only complaint is that you cannot serve yourself at the free breakfast provided by the hotel. I don’t want anyone to wait on me at a hotel breakfast, especially when every other provided breakfast is self serve.

I had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent, the room was spacious, great view, and provided all I needed, more than. But most importantly, the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. This means so much when people need a break from day to day, and choose to spend their time and money to stay somewhere. Was always a positive and happy environment during my stay. Much appreciated. My stay was okay in the sense that I had a great view of the Ocean. The first room that we were given had an odor that was very stale, and the carpet was unacceptable. We were moved to another room, which smelled better, but carpet was still not as clean as it should be. I think that the carpet needs to either be professionally cleaned or replaced. An overall upgrade wouldn't be bad. Also, we had a towel that was soiled. Other than that, all was well.

My only wish would have been more parking. Even off season, it felt like a daily fight for parking.

The room was immaculate , the staff were very friendly. The front desk staff were very accommodating and went above and beyond . The breakfast each morning was hot and lots of choice.

Having a handicapped mother, parking was not ideal, but carts were available and an elevator, so that helped. Was the perfect time of season for a couple of retirees who don't care for the hustle bustle of the summer beach season. Thank you Best Western.

Wonderful experience and customer service. Bed was not comfortable and pillows were too soft. But over all we loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Old building needing some updates. Stairways dim, could use more lighting. Room was comfortable. Continental breakfast adequate. Ice machine in smaller building needs repaired. Had to go to the adjacent building for ice. Staff that I encountered was pleasant.

Could hardly open balcony door, roaches, no awning so you load and unload on the rain, no water pressure, tv works occasionally, rude night attendant, Jamie.

Our room was spacious and we felt like we were on a private beach. We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly as well.

Would stay again at this property again. Parking is limited at hotel, but there is plenty of parking alloted for the hotel across the street. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet options available. Direct access to the beach was a plus. View from our deck was amazing. Really enjoyed the swimming pool after a morning at the beach. Also enjoyed the small lazy river pool. The tiki bar at the pool had good drink options. Overall the hotel was good. The hotel does need some upgrades and our bathroom was on the small side. Would definitely stay there again.

The hallways were outdated and slightly dirty, however the room was very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

everything was ok except there was no hot tub and the pool water was cold and the in room tv did not work

I should have known the first night when I found a dead cockroach that it was time to leave, but I didn’t. The property has not had any upgrades in many years. The table and chairs were wedged in the corner, and I like to have never gotten a chair out to sit in only to find out that it had no cushion it was just. Vinyl stretched over a wood frame with no cushion. Then on the third evening when I turned the bed down a 2 inch cockroach ran across my bed. I immediately packed checked out and asked for a refund of at least the last night. I was told that I would hear from them today about my refund, but as of now I have not heard anything I would never stay at a best Western again.

I liked the pool area with the Tiki bar. I liked the breakfasts. The bed linens had a smell of possibly bleach which I didn't like. Otherwise, it was okay. It was a little noisy with people coming and going late at night, but it is a beach after all. I did like how to beds were divided between the bathroom area giving each other more privacy. I didn't like that though there was 2 TVs, only 1 worked.

No complaints except for the parking. Holiday weekend ended up in overflow parking. Had to drop off my handicap spouse and walk back. Some times as much as 3 blocks.

The staff were nice and tried to help any way they could but the place is terrible. I was so disappointed. Soon as I walked in the door of the room, there was a humongous water roach. I never saw another one, but one was enough to ruin it for me. The carpet was terrible. Needs to be replaced about 20 years ago and the ceilings had spots from water or something and they tried to touch it up but still it was terrible. The doors were had water damaged and needed to be painted just the whole place was rundown.

It was a decent hotel on the beach. A little dated but again it was on the beach. A couple of elevator issues during the stay.

Guests smoke on their balconies and the smoke blew into the other balconies making them unusable

The parking was absolutely miserable! You have to park across or down the street since the hotel only has like 5 parking spots. The room was very large and clean. The elevator was slow and inefficient. Breakfast was decent. Location was good.

Location in N Myrtle is great but not within walking distance to restaurants. Staff was amazing and super cool to talk to. Breakfast wasn’t that impressive but it’s nice the staff dishes it up for you. Very safe location as opposed to Myrtle Beach. We visited MB one morning and extremely thankful we booked NMB. World of difference. Other occupants were super chill and polite. Very family friendly atmosphere. We were disappointed no hot tub as that was one of the amenities we were looking forward to but overall, we’d stay again.

Not everyone travels via car or rents a car upon arrival. The tiki bar was a deciding factor to stay because of serving drinks and hamburgers & hot dogs Best Western had been without a liquor license for a month but telling patrons daily hopefully it would arrive the next day. Plus only served hot dogs. The lazy river is more like a lazy baby river

The building seemed a little dated but the room was redone, refreshing, and clean. We stayed in a suite and impressed with the set up of doors between the bedroom and kitchen/bathroom (door of course), and another door before the living area. Also the third bed came from the wall and not the couch. Breakfast had “to go” style containers to eat outside at tables, or take to the room/beach. Pool towels provided. Rinse off shower at the beach.

Gym needs updating and equiptment not working properly

Just not a great stay. The room had several issues. First the toilet would only flush if you held the handle until it finished flushing. Maintenance came and looked at the toilet, but didn't do anything, but leave a mess on the bathroom floor. The security latch on the door was broken. The patio door made an awful screeching noise when opened or closed. All kinds of issues trying to watch TV as it seemed to require an Internet connection that it didn't seem to stay connected to. The lighting in the common areas and stairwells was very poor. Just not what I would expect from a best Western property.

They said there was a tiki bar. There wasn’t. Washer and dryer also didn’t work! Just wasn’t happy with my stay!

We enjoyed our stay here. The lazy river is sort of a joke as it's just a short, very narrow oval. I didn't expect it to be long, but I thought it would wind around the perimeter of the pool area. The room was nice. I was sort of a shotgun style room so getting it cold wasn't easy. Keep the balcony door closed and close the curtains when you aren't in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was surprisingly good. I'm a bit of a biscuits and gravy snob, but did a solid job with theirs. Much better than I would have expected for a free hotel breakfast.

Nice beach

Our hotel room was 5 hotels from the pool and dining. “Clean” sheets had stains on it. One night ants were everywhere, on bed and even crawling on my 3 year old while he was sleeping. One of the cleaning lady’s was RUDE bc she came to do daily clean room while my son was napping. Doesn’t look like the pictures. Place definitely need to be updated. Parking limited and difficult to get in and out. Shower only had half glass so water got everywhere when showering. Pros: breakfast every morning. Right on the beach and quiet. Right near Barefoot, Tanger and good restaurants. Good family beach.

The first evening we realized the pull outs sheets had yellow stains and looked used, so we called and asked for an extra set of bedding and additional pillows. We also noticed holes in the comforters but didn't ask for extra since it was clean. My husband was told he had to come get them. Then the man didn't even step out of the back room and yelled from there that house keeping was bringing the bedding and when my husband asked about pillows he just said "we don't have more pillows, you have enough". Guess clean and adequate bedding was unrealistic. Breakfast was really good though inside dining is limited and outside isn't an option on rainy days. They do put it in tupperware though so you can take it back to your room. Kids loved the pool and close beach access. Room is cleaned and towels restocked daily which was nice! Don't anticipate actually cooking/eating much in the kitchenette because there's only random utensils and flatware. We had 3 plates, a couple forks, no spoons, no bowls, no paper towels. Overall it's manageable - we've stayed in worse. We'll probably spend the extra money to stay in a condo next time though so we get a real kitchen and know the bedding won't be an issue.

and washcloths. I contacted the front desk and they brought me additional washcloths. It is now time to rest. At which time it was determined that the sheet that was on the bed had a tear in them. I did not complain but it irked my spirit that I paid money and had to lay on torn sheets. However, my sister-in-law had bed bugs in her room. Pictures were taken and information was reported to the gentleman at the front desk. He suggested that she not stay there; however he had nowhere else for her to stay. So, I was inconvenienced by having 2 kids and 1 extra adult in my little room with me. It was my birthday weekend and I had no intentions on spending the night with 2 kids sleeping in my bed under the age of 5 nor did I want to be further inconvenienced by having another adult invade my privacy. The next day my sister in law was given a room. The next day, I asked the cleaning people to just change the linen. When we arrived back to the room after visiting the beach once again, I needed to freshen up. There were 3 towels but NO washcloths at all. I was livid. Once again, I contacted the front desk and was informed that they would send someone, however the cleaning lady is cleaning rooms but they would let her know. Soo patiently I waited. We checked in at 8:30 PM on a Friday and even tho we had booked in April for July stay, our room was horrible, ground floor across from elevator and beside kiddie pool. However, staff worked very hard and we were moved to comparable room in much better location by 10 am the next day. Kudos to them for recognizing our request and accommodating. Everything aces with our stay thereafter.

The tiki bar on the internet gives the impression that they serve alcohol, which they do not, and only one elevator in the building. Not ANY of the coke machines worked and the lobby was not stocked with drinks or anything useful. The old man in the breakfast area was rude and outright disrespectful/obnoxious. Will not stay again.

The pools were too shallow for adult swimming! Tiki bar was nice. Extend breakfast time, not everyone wants to get up early on vacation! Elevator floors were always wet...try a rubber matting to prevent slipping injuries. The kitchenette was ancient..needs upgrading. Treat for roaches!

The A/C unit was not cooling down the room so the whole stay we were very uncomfortable staying in the room, we decided to cut our trip short and head home because the maintenance man didn’t bother fixing it when we told him about the issue. The pictures of the property were a disappointment to where we actually had to stay. The parking was very limited. I will not be staying in this hotel ever again.

The hotel has: amazing staff, good hot breakfast , large clean rooms that are well maintained , with full kitchen, it is right on the beach( no crowds!!), walkable to Mr.G’s ice cream shop,

We were first given a bottom floor room with very limited view- stayed one night-asked to be moved and they accommodated us. Enjoyed the rest of the trip from a 7th floor room with a terrific balcony and beach view!

Building was very old and falling apart. Really room was dirty and door to balcony was broken. Toilets hardly flushed and constantly clogging. AC hardly worked room was always hot. Would not stay here again.

Need to have a bigger dining area. Also need extra mirror in room so that while someone is in bathroom you can finish getting ready.

Only thing we liked is it was on the beach…Everything else was horrible…Room was dirty and floors were sandy…Towels were dirty…Bathroom was in shabby condition..This hotel was not worth the money we spent for the 3 day stay…I have stayed at other Best Western hotels and never had this problem

With that said the day time employees were amazing and very personal!!! When I checked in on the 20th around 2:45pm the two ladies working the front desk were the nicest!!!!! One was working today when we checked out at 11am. Best thing about the hotel were those two ladies and how the hotel was directly on the beach. Next time I will probably pay more $$ to stay somewhere else!

The building was a bit older but well maintained. AC in the room was great, however the elevator was hot and humid. Pool was clean and well maintained.

I took my granddaughters for a beach weekend. The hotel served our needs just fine. It’s nothing fancy but great because it’s right on the beach. The room needs new pillows and the lazy river is suitable for little kids- not what you get at a resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Housekeeping does not come even after complaining to the front desk multiple times. Micheal the front desk was great. She brought us up towels and toiletries after two days of no housekeeping. Food was great. No Alcohol at tiki bar waitresses were great. Waiting on liquor license but not posted on website at booking. Outdated but best views from the balcony.

Easy walk to the beach. Great continental breakfast!

Handicap parking was limited because there was people without a handicap sign displayed or tag. Heard the comment Well we’re old too so we can park here.

Right on the beach. The pool and lazy river was fun. Walked to the Irish pup to eat a couple of days. Gift shop and ice cream within walking distance. The bartender in the tiki bar was an amazing person.

Overall, it was a good experience. We did it over 30 minutes for the room to be ready after the designated check-in time. The balcony door did not lock properly and being on the first floor it made me a little uncomfortable. The room was clean and the staff were all extremely nice. The room was very spacious.

I liked the access to the beach and the little beachfront balcony. The room was in pretty run down condition. When we arrived around 4:30 PM the room was dirty and we were told they didn't have another room and we could have it cleaned in the morning. We just opted to clean it ourselves as we didn't want to stay there at all with it dirty. One of the 2 beds was right in the door opening, so bringing things in & out of the room was difficult. We were in a smaller building to the left. There were just about a dozen parking spaces in the front, and most of the week had to park in a parking lot across the street. My car was hit in the night, and they had no cameras on the lot so completely my loss.

This room is disgusting and is definitely not on the water like it’s advertising. I opened the door and saw bugs. The night auditor say me and immediately gave me the key to go see the room.

The way the pictures are taken and shown on the website are photoshopped to make the rooms look cleaner. There was rust in the bathroom, kitchenette, and the patio doors. There were stains on the beds and carpet plus the pullout couch was rusted and sheets have not been changed in a long time. The patio doors did not lock and were hard to open. The view from the room and short walk to the beach was the best part of the hotel.

This property’s pictures are not reflective of the actual property. The lazy river was a pond and the pool just looked dirty. This property needs major renovations. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I did prior bokking email the hotel and did reserve 1 room in the main building at the 4th floor. I got a confirmation via email and upon arriving I didn’t get what was agreed on . Staff told me that they cant guarantee such but what makes it odd is that they reply to emails and promise such. My room was totally outdated and looked very nasty dirty . Moving the curtain got me discover molds . Everyday the same breakfast, biscuits and gravy kinda super sucks served with a very thin coffee. I was happy to leave this place

Great AC units and shower and room! They accommodated me so well and upgraded my room! Loved the location too! And the Tiki bar!

Breakfast was delicious everyday, its a little run down...BUT its CLEAN! Sinks, toilets, tubs were ALL CLEAN...the water pressure was excellent. The pools was nice and the views beautiful... will come here again...??? YES!!!

This was a little older family friendly resort. Our room was perfect with a kitchenette with a beach front view. Then staff was personable and professional. A delicious breakfast started every day. Two pool areas with a snack and beverage bar, a fitness room and excellent beach access made for an outstanding beach vacation. Local amenities and restaurants were all minutes away. We hope to stay there again soon!!!
