Everything was great except for the indoor pool was closed but breakfast needs to change alot .

The hotel is going through renovation, but it is still very clean and the room was very nice. Too bad the pool is not open, and the Internet is mediocre at best. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

Manager and front desk staff was great. The housekeeping team were very good at maintaining the rooms cleanliness. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.This is the best hotel stay I've had in Texas so far. I want to say thanks to everyone for making it so pleasant.

From 7:30am-6pm EVERY DAY, there was construction in the rooms adjacent to mine. Loud hammering, saws, dropping of heavy things. The construction caused walls to shake. Hallways were extremely humid and hot.

The hotel was dated but extremely clean. I didn't like the trip was so short.

An older Motel 6 recently bought by Sonesta and remodeling in progress so my stay was just average- should be much better after remodeling completed. Staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The bed was clean n comfortable. The shower was amazing except for the leak of the sink but nothing we couldn't handle. The elevator was not working properly. Breakfast was not fully stocked and was cold no coffee or milk

The door knob and lock on my room seemed to be broken, but it did work. Other than that, my stay was excellent! Staff was friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was beyond great! The room was quiet even though I was next to I-20! Bed was a little hard, but I like very plush.

Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Loved the shampoo, conditioner, and body was in pump bottles in shower. Chair and panel on a/c unit were broken. Breakfast was decent for hotel price. Phone rang multiple times in the middle of the night. Message left with property, waiting on reply. Besides the phone ringing disturbing our sleep, we would consider booking again.

But on the good side housekeeping staff, they were super friendly and helpful.

Ac worked a little too well(heat and cooling), staff was extremely helpful and kind. Everything worked no bugs no stains no smells not even a single peace of trash on the floor, when I requested more towels they were immediately given to me and they even gave me a heads up so I didn’t hit late check out !! very kind and made things easy!

Place was clean, staff was friendly. The elevator button panel on the second floor was non existing, our room had no shampoo or conditioner. Our restroom had no toilet paper holder. When arriving the streets where closed and had to drive 20 min west to find our way back to the hotel.

I was traveling from Arizona back to DFW and this was a convenient place to stop for the night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had to get back on the road too early for the free breakfast the next morning. Both of the ladies at the front counter were very welcoming and friendly. Parking was ample and well lit. Overall a very affordable and convenient place to stay!

The rooms are a good size—as is the bathroom—but the housekeeping is poor. I had to switch rooms because the beds still had the sheets from the previous guests; the A/C smelled like rotten water, and there was a noticeable layer of dust throughout the room. Furthermore, the elevators don't work properly; the buttons to go down are missing, so you have to take the stairs.

I had to book one room twice because this facility failed to acknowledge reservations through booking.com and didnt solve my conflict. Not only that i have to make another reservation, but I paid more than what booking.com offered. I will not be visiting any Sonesta Essential Hotels again.

The one thing travelers need to be aware of is the close proximity of the the freeway... there is some traffic noise that migrates into the rooms.

Room with 4 queen beds was what we exactly needed that night just to sleep. We had 2 family funerals on Wednesday and this hotel was very close and convenient to our location. We would stay here again

Do not book online. The price you see is not the price you will be charged. I booked for 55 a night and when I extended they charged me 79 a night. Even the nights I pre paid for, the charge went pending and never processed. Once I checked out they processed my card for 79 a night.

The room itself was fine , the rest was not , the elevator does not work so you have to use the stairs which wouldn’t be bad except the locks on the door reset all the time so you were constantly having to go to the front desk to reset the key card to be able to get into your room. But when you tried to do that the front desk person was never there and you’d have to wait 5-10 mins for him to return. The pool was shut down and had a shut down by health inspector report on the door.

Everything seems good. Housekeeping is amazing, along with the friendliness of the front staff. It’s a bummer the pool and work out room is closed. No explanation why.

Staff were real nice. The room walls were real dirty, one of the beds was broken real uncomfortable. The bathroom sink was leaking to the point the toilet paper got wet

The curtains were filthy, the fridge had a yellow liquid inside and the bed was worn out. The front desk receptionist was less than happy to see us.

The room didn't feel or smell clean.The bed wasn't comfortable at all. The AC didn't keep the room very cool,it had a humid wet feel. Also a horrible smell coming from the bathroom sink!

People were nice and we got fresh towels everyday of the week we were there and even with the negative stuff I would stay again The mini fridge froze the food or apples everything there was no inbetween. One washer and dryer in the laundry room and the pool was closed .

It was a nice clean room bed made every day clean towels and clean lobby, clean laundry room. Never used the pool or hot tub but it looked nice. Pillows and king bed were a 5 out of ten. But id stay there again. Staff was friendly also. Dint eat the breakfast but it looked good everything was tidy.

My husband stayed there 4 times over the last 3 months while he was visiting his brother that was battling cancer. Had I been with him the first time there would have never been a 4th time. None of the vending machines worked and not that we would have used the pool, but we might have in the evening to relax. But, anyway there was a sign on the door to the pool all 4 times that it was being serviced. All 4 times 24 hours a day. Really? Answer no we would not stay there again.

clean bathrooms but the towels smell bad, we found a lot of hair we do not know if it was animal or person in our second blanket and it was terrible!! it made us very disgusting, the air only served in one room And we struggled a lot with the card, OK, the stay is a reasonable price, but the simple fact of finding the hair in my bed was the worst.

First room was still dirty with dirty towels on the floor. They put me in another room which I thought was better until I went to take a shower and found a pair of someone’s dirty underwear in the shower! Obviously they don’t clean the rooms. Disgusting.

That was probably one of the worst nights.I spent in a hotel.The door lock didn't work good and the breakfast in the morning was the worst.Everything was cold and they didn't have no options.Whatsoever, I will never stay there again

I had an emergency and I needed to leave payment for the room where I was at 310 and the person who was in the counter at reception made my life impossible, had no empathy with me and I was telling her that I had to go to the Hospital which I had 45 minutes away from the Hotel. I made another reservation, she made me take out all my belongings and she told me that she could not give me the other room until it was 3:00 pm and she insisted that I had to go to the Hospital but that did not matter to her, but she received another call from a room that could not be moved and she took charge of the card of the room to that client and left him in it, but I could not leave myself in the same room. This happened between 8:00 and 9:00 in the morning today, Wednesday, April 2. The reservation I had in Odessa I had to move to El Paso, because my family member was transferred by ambulance to El Paso Texas.

Customer service is excellent. The rooms are always clean and it is a very quiet hotel to stay in in the Odessa area. This is the only hotel that I stay when I work in West Texas.

Coffee was always running out and not available in the evenings. Staff was unprofessional and rude and not appreciative of the customer business we provided to them

Totally understand that the majority of the people that stay in all the surrounding area hotels are workers, but man this hotel was just so dusty.

Had to change rooms A/C didn’t work , the other room had dirty sheets and I had to change them myself.. they doubled charge me for a room .. never again going there .. walls dirty , floor really dirt ..

The hot tub did not work no one said anything when we asked they wouldnt even give us a partial refrund so 84$ to not even be able to use the hot tub.

Bed cover and towels were all stained. Carpet was dirty and furniture and fixtures were very worn. Hallway and room smelled musty. Exits were blocked "open" so that just anyone could enter into the hotel. I'm surprised that Wyndham would attach their name to this place

Hotel was clean and quiet. Water never got hot- showers were always lukewarm. Front desk staff was kind and accommodating to the best of their abilities.

I called ahead of time the day before I stayed there and whenever I get there supposedly the pool warmer I guess stopped working and nobody else knew it that was the only reason I even stayed there but the parking is very inconvenient you call me park on one side in the back it's like an RV decided to buy half the lot I don't know I'm not happy

I booked this reservation a month ahead of time and was called a couple hours before check-in and they let me know. They are given my room to someone else which the lady at the desk was very nice and gave us two rooms but one of the rooms, hot water didn’t work When we headed out the next day we gathered up our towels and trash and gave it to the housekeepers and they didn’t replace them so we shared four towels with five people over the next three days.

They have not fixed the elevator in 5 months

Very pleased with this hotel. Arrived early amd was allowed to check in. Room was cleaned every day. Staff was very friendly. Elevator was broken but was I requested to be on ground floor and they were able to accommodate us. Would stay here again if we go back to Odessa.

Terrible i work at night they made rude comments and i got a suite that sleeps four ppl they started saying there was to many ppl in the room when it was just us 4 then the clerk i believe gave a key to my room to someone random i will never stay here the washer didn’t work the room stop had trash and the manager was great very nice but the other employees who made those comments were not right i travel everywhere for my job always use super 8 but this one just want a great experience at all

All the equipment was broken and dirty in the gym. Elevator was broken for entire stay. Furniture was damaged in the room.

It’s a nice and quite hotel, front desk personnel are always so nice and accommodating. I love staying here when I come into town for work.

I’m not sure if the good reviews are fake or we just picked a bad time to go, but the room was dirty, breakfast was just ok, and the pool area looked sketch. We only stayed here because I wanted my boys to swim and all hotels with outdoor pools were already closing for the season. We could have done without.

Perfect last minute stay

It's my pservation that this property has experienced a gradual decline since I started using it three or four years ago. The rates have increased while the hotel has begun to deteriorate. This was probably my last stay.

They have bed bugs in the room. I never got bite by those in my life before. So, I let those bugs bit me for 10 days. The hotel said I BROUGHT THOSE IN！！！！！and didn't give me any refound or compensate. DO NOT STAY THERE

When I made the reservation online, I was NOT given an option of smoking or non-smoking room. The guest attendant NEVER offered another room as I don't smoke. Upon check out, I was told that the default was smoking when there is no non-smoking rooms available. I'm not sure this is accurate. I will never stay at this property again.

Person checking us in as very helpful. Elevator was not working, husband is handicap and uses a walker after having a. Stroke. Front desk found us a very nice room that was an upgrade.

I have been staying at this hotel for over three years and the service is always great!. It’s quiet it’s clean and the beds are comfortable!. The managers are always helpful and I’ve never had any issues. I will always stay here when I’m in Odessa.

The contact number to tell them that we were arriving late was to the Wyndham sales team. They tried to sell us timeshares and other unnecessary things. The elevator was broken when we got there. The hot tub was broken. Which meant the swimming pool was off limits. Got to the room and there were no towels. The Chargers for the lamps on either side of the bed did not work. I stuck to a portion of the floor. Two light bulbs were burnt out. The breakfast was under stocked and not well maintained. On the positive side, the lady at the checkout desk did inform us of what was going on. She was very nice. She did get the towels quickly. The bathroom was clean. The room looked nice. And the TV worked.

This use to be a decent low end hotel. Now it’s so run down and dirty. The chair was covered in grease. There was a bag over the fire detector so not sure that would have even tried to save my life. Mattress was terrible. Pillows were terrible. It’s a non-smoking hotel but every room smells like smoke and my eyes burned all night. Elevator isn’t working. Stairs are littered with trash and debris. Hallways were also full of trash. Time to spend a little money on this place and maybe hire new cleaning people. It’s hard to find a place to park an 18 wheeler and I need to be able to stay here. Get it together

There was c** on the bed spread, the whole place smelled, the elevator was broken and then they put us on the top floor, the door wouldn’t lock properly.
