Pillows, cleanliness and location. Great breakfast! Check in and check out did not go smoothly. Cheap toilet paper. No hooks near shower to hang towels.

Property was clean conveniently located to everything we needed. The property manager didn’t appear to be concerned about the fact the hotel changed my reservation prior to my arrival, without notifying me. I ended up in a single queen room, instead of a king suite. I had to stay cramped in a single room for 4 nights, very uncomfortable.

Location was great 3 to 4 miles from the mall and restaurant I didn't like housekeeper clean your room every other day you have to hunt them down for extra towels etc

The front desk service by Andrew was copper great. He did a good job with getting us checked in, and dealing with a reservation issue we had with Booking.com

Great service clean rooms breakfast included

First room they gave us was right next to the elevator- very noisy. 2nd room was better but there was a toothbrush and floss in the shower when we got into the room. And it was still there when we checked out even though we asked for extra room cleaning - disgusting!

Room was amazing as always

Check in was quick and easy. No nonsense. My incidental charge was back on my card 5 minutes after i checked out.

I was blown away by both. Both were very clean. had everything I needed. I was able to have food delivered and also partook in the breakfast piece. All of it was perfect. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The room was comfortable and properly supplied. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful; fresh, hot with choices for all tastes and diets.

Our first room didn’t have a flushing toilet. The second room had an offending odor/ chemical smell in the bathroom. Was so bad we had to keep the door shut all night and have the A/C on the entire time to keep that irritating smell confined to just that area. The bed was comfortable but the free breakfast was lacking. Mostly spicey ethnic food served. Mexican? Stomach can’t handle that for a morning meal. A great location tho.

We stay here regularly but this time there was a bad smell of smoke in the bathroom in the room. Also we requested house keeping and hours later we still didn't get it. This is not normal for this property but it was our latest experience.

This is my go to hotel when I come to Chicago. Staff is very friendly, breakfast was good. Very comfortable relaxing stay.

It was a celebration for my 80th birthday and my family and I enjoyed it.

It would be nice to have a luggage cart available to unload and load our car. Both unloading and loading there were none available even though there are 3 carts at this facility. This was the only thing I did not like about my visit. Being as I'm the one that ends up unloading and loading the car. My husband isn't much help. I love your hotels.

There were so many things I liked about this hotel. BELIEVE the reviews! My husband and I are excited so find such a wonderful hotel that is (1) close to Marcus movie theatre and (2) close to Toyko Steakhouse. We also loved the free parking, breakfast, pool and exercise facility. We are looking forward to our next stay!

I didn't like that the hotel clerk said there were no rooms available. I went to the website and booked rooms.

This hotel is very nice. The rooms are super clean and decorated beautifully. There is a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher and 2 burner stove top in the room. Everything was top notch and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This hotel is located in a quiet area with a few restaurants in walking distance. They also serve a nice complementary breakfast. I asked for a room with no history of pets given my allergies and had no problems. Cheery staff members. I would stay here again.

Breakfast options were very good, fresh and appropriately replenished. The bed was outstanding. I wish to know the supplier so I can look into purchasing one for my home

The room was comfortable. The cleaning of the room could have been better. The microwave had not been wiped out, the room was not dusted before our arrival. The floor looked like it wasn’t vacuumed. Whoever “cleaned” our room didn’t do a good job. The bed was comfortable, the fulll sized refrigerator was nice and more than we needed. The layout of the room was very nice.

Walked into my room finding the pillows were never washed. There was hair and stains on the pillows. Also the room had an odor that smelt like dirty sock and my TV for my room wasnt working as well. My one night stay suddenly turn into a horrible long night.

At first glance I am very happy I booked with you tonight. The parking lot is a little difficult to navigate tonight since it hasn’t been plowed. Also, as a female walking alone, I would appreciate a better lit parking lot.

Stayed at the hotel forba wedding held at an adjoining venue. It looked clean and well maintained.

Nice and clean rooms and common areas. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. Convenient location and parking. Main drawbacks for us were the breakfasts (low quality, poorly cooked food) and very small pool (we ended up not even using it when we saw how small the space was). This was fine for a quick trip, but for the price I was disappointed with the breakfast and the amenities.

This hotel was just okay. It wasn't as nice as other Homewood Suites I've stayed in and I certainly didn't feel it was worth the price I paid. The room is a funny set up that is just a long way back into your sleeping space. The sleeping space is small. Bed and dresser and that is it. No room to move around. You have to go through your bathroom area and out into a sitting room / kitchenette area. Also, paper plates for breakfast??? I used to love the nice glass plates and real utensils. It felt cheap for a $200 hotel stay. Breakfast at Super 8 is just as good. The food was mediocre at best. Holiday Inn breakfasts are sooo much better and I'm disappointed that I paid for a higher "class" hotel and feel it was 2-star class at best. As for comfort... the beds were decent but the pillows felt like a CHEAP pillow that saw better days YEARS ago! They were flat and nothing to them. Again, disappointed for the price. Had I paid $100 or so, maybe this would suffice. But $200 ... no way!

While initially this hotel seemed very nice and clean, I woke up in the morning to find a cockroach running around my bathroom. I took a video for proof to the front desk, and they told me a manager would be down shortly. After waiting for a half hour I was informed that management would not be in that day, but would call me as soon as possible to resolve this issue. Never at any point did they offer me a refund, or even bother to come look at the room. I had to throw away all of the food we brought with, as well as have all of my belongings bug bombed because when I unpacked I found one inside of my bag as well. This all took place on July 4th, and I still have yet to receive a phone call from management or a refund.

Pleasant but expensive. The pictures make the suites and kitchen look way bigger than it is. The pull out mattress was thin and uncomfortable. Check in took a long time due to the key cards not activating on even the 3rd and 4th times. The area and place itself is beautiful. I just wish I would have gotten the size of suite I was expecting for the amount of money I paid. Staff was very friendly as well.

No control of other customers, in suite 105 the customers were loaded and had load music, hitting the walls abd smoking illegal substances

The gentleman that checked me in was very polite and kind. Once I got into the room, I noticed how hot it was in the room. I quickly discovered the air did not work. It took 3 times of calling the front desk and the other employee at the desk was exceptionally rude, for them to send a maintenance guy up. When we arrived back to the hotel after our dinner reservation, we were assured the air now worked. In my room, it was still 74 degrees. Front desk was very rude and truly acted like he didn’t care at all but sent maintenance again and he stated it was fine. We requested several times to be moved into a room with working air as it was 82 degrees outside and we were on the 4th floor. We were assured they would get the air working. We got back from our movie and again our room was still 74 degrees. Again we called the front desk and they stated now they were completely booked but would call us back in 15 min. We never heard another word from them. We could not sleep due to it being so hot in our room. The ceiling fan was broke so that you could not use it and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I will never stay in another Hilton if this is the service they provide!

Newly renovated property. Good location. Beds & couch could be more comfortable. Fine for a night or two.

IM SO DISAPPOINTED. We came into town for a surprise birthday party. We wanted to mingle with friends and family but also had to get ready and things. We had NO a room keys basically until an hour before we left SUNDAY. So everytime we had to get in our room SEVEN times we had to find a hotel staff to let us in. When I say find I mean once we had to wait 30 minutes going back and forth trying to find them because they had to let every single guest in. Their was no apology, no offer for a refund or other accommodations. No one knew what was going on and we overheard they didn’t want to pay for it to be fixed at night- sad. We were also sold the staff has basically been abandoned by management. Im honestly so beyond frustrated after trying to talk to someone at the property and messaging them. I asked for a refund and was told no one has the authority. If I pay for a room I expect access to my room!

Very clean both inside and outside of the suite. The bedding was soft, the bed slept well, I loved the blackout curtains. Best sleep I have had in a long time. The suite was decorated beautifully (modern). I love that there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom. I am ready to book my next stay here!

There was nothing unique about this property as EXPEDIA CANCELLED 9oir fully paid suite before we even got there and had the nerve to claim that we cancelled the room! I have confirmation that we had a fully paid booked room and when we get there there is no room! The staff at the hotel could care less because we made the mistake booking the room from Expedia and Expedia did nothing to correct the the issue. We slept at friends house the whole vacation instead. Still trying to get a full refund

The room was clean but somewhat rundown in appearance. The mattress was hard and lumpy with what appeared to be a mattress cover for a blanket. Overall the room was in need of refurbishing. There were renovations taking place on the floor above so perhaps the hotel is undergoing improvements. Staff was very polite and helpful.

The hotel was good. But despite signing a pledge to not host any parties or be loud after 9pm, at least two rooms were making noise and drinking past 12:30am and singing loudly

This my second time staying at this hotel and me and my kids loved it will be back in May

Pam the receptionist was very helpful. The room was nice. However, the mattress on sofa bed is severely worn out, and the sofa mattress was filthy and full of stains. It felt like we were sleeping on a box spring. Very uncomfortable. Also, the vents by the windows was full of trash and dust. My suggestion is to throw the sofa bed away and clean the vents by the windows.
